The vibes here are Amazing. The art was so visually appealing. Dont come here thinking its FauxReal Burger, this is its own Vegan spot. The drinks were actually super tasty (Green Goddess). I had a lentil kale soup special, when I tell you it was good...my taste buds were thanking me for trying this place out. I plan on coming back just to taste the rest of the menu. If your wondering if you should try it, Im telling you it is worth it!
Loved it! Not of this world atmosphere and ambiance! Great to go on your own or with friends! If you don’t know what you like they will make suggestions! The food is super tasty! It might not be meat but it is super yummy! I had the Philly style Burger pictured below....So tasty!I wish they were closer to me!
Humanitree House was definitely everything I expected plus some. I stopped in on my way back to Jacksonville and the vibe was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was so welcoming when you walked in, good music, happy people and amazing art work. I ordered the avocado wrap which did not disappoint, the fire shot, and a subliminator smoothie.I will definitely be back as soon as I touch down in Augusta.
This place is amazing. The atmosphere is very chill and inviting. Customer service is great. The food is fresh, organic. The owner was very nice, the rest of the staff was amazing as well. My wife and I went there multiple times during the week. Make sure you try the smoothies! We’ll definitely be back when we’re in Augusta again! (P.S -Thanks Jordan for all your help again.)
The food was delicious. I had the Turkee Sandwich with marinated kale salad. I have never had raw kale that tastes that good. Everyone working there was very friendly. The music and layout of the Humanitree House is so warm and inviting. The artwork on the walls draws you in. It is also a plus that you can sometimes talk with the artist. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and look forward to my next visit.
Im not vegan, or even a healthy eater in general, but this place has some really good stuff on the menu. The owner actually came out to greet us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I liked all the murals on the wall, since they gave the room a sense of individuality. The owner painted most of them himself, but he also features some local artists, which is pretty cool.
Beautiful vibes and ambiance!! You can feel it is a very sacred and well thought out space! It was my 1st time there like a week ago...and I could tell it was black owned by the beautifully done artwork and the whole feel of the place is a groove! I left with a beautiful flourite crystal ring and left feeling very good about how I spent my coin! Oh and the avocado toast slaps!! Wishing Much love and abundance to this space! Peace and Love!
Strongly recommend for anyone exploring or practicing healthy vegetarian eating. This establishment oozes positive consciousness. From the art on the walls to the vegetarian and vegan healthy food and drink options, I love the place. Menu & Drink selections are stronger during the early and mid week. Sometimes Saturday has limited options.
The only 100% vegan restaurant in Augusta and it is AMAZING!! The food is great, the vibe is great, and the employees are so nice. I love this place, it is a bit pricey but it completely understandable seeing the quality of the food and the fact that everything is vegan. It’s nice to not have to customize an other for once and I can eat everything on the menu.
I cannot recommend this place enough. It has everything you need to be better, to feel human, to love one another more. The creativity and positivity flow strong here.Incredible selection of healthy food and smoothie for your mind and body, they alone would be the reason to come here every day.But the good vibrations, thoughtful & beautiful staff, indescribably beautiful artwork, the best music, and all around sense of good and kindness in our community..... I’m in love with this place.Thank you for sharing this space with everyone.
Pros: The place is beautiful! The people were relatively pleasant.Cons: Because they use fresh fruit, I would say eat with CAUTION!!! I saw something similar to a spider web on my blueberry. I decided that I would try to pick it off with the back of my spoon. As I was picking the web I saw a black spot under it. I slightly squeezed the blueberry and out came a WORM. I called and they offered me a new bowl, but I told them I wanted a refund. I received my refund and was sent a receipt it would be returned to my account. Before that the acaį bowl was sort of too sweet for my liking. It didnt have any tartness to it at all. The only thing that gave it any tartness were the blueberries, but unfortunately after seeing a worm I lost my appetite.
With the big change in food, and nothing tasting the same, I was starving myself, until a coworker from my job told me about Humanitree House, (truly amazing) that was the best move I ever made for my health.the food is outstanding and the peoples are on point. Humanitree House is my one and only place to eat from now on,and believe me I tell everybody, because once you try their food youll keep going back, I do. They say 5star, I say 10. With that being said thank you Humanitree House for your good eats, keep up the good work. see you real soon
A masterpiece inside! From the moment you step in you feel the excellent positive energy! It makes you wanna grab a good book and stay for hours or days..lol..The food is vegan and amazing! The music is phenomenal. All this is before you meet the owner! Lol... kind, respectable, nothing but live shown! One of my favorite places in the US.
Liked this place but going down quickly. Never have anything in stock anymore. 3 consecutive weeks theyve been out of over half my order. Been out of sunbutter atleast 3 weeks, no almond butter, no beet juice. The list goes on. If youre having trouble getting items thats understandable, but maybe take them off your menu.
The food was awesome! The people here are so knowledgeable and very polite! I love the ambiance in here! The atmosphere is soothing in there! I would fully recommend Humanitree House to any vegans! I had the Veggie burger with a side of kale salad that was delicious! Fruit smoothie was very tasty and smooth. I cant wait to get back down there
1,000% VEGAN!!!!! I can finally go to a restaurant and order anything on the menu and not worry about whether or not its vegan! Ive been a couple of times and the food is always great, the smoothies are delicious, and the vibe... The Vibe is too legit to quit 😁 I love this place!Update: They dont always have the best customer service and the food quality has not been consistent lately.
I took my 3 children with me here today. It was nothing less than full of love and caring people!! The staff is so friendly and very gentle hearted. You could feel the love in the air!! The food OMG was bussing! My eldest and I tried the vegan bacon cheeseburger, and it was so delicious! The thing I like most is that they actually use vegetables to make their burgers, which are made IN HOUSE. Most vegan restaurants use soy and wheat protein for their burger and chicken substitutes, which are no where near healthy. Soy and wheat is like pork on the meat scale. This was my first time going here and they can definitely expect us back! Couldnt post a picture because the vegan bacon cheeseburger took over, lol.
Amazing! This huge art gallery and space, and tasty vegan food! What an atmosphere- so relaxing, so delightful. The owner gave a little kid a piano lesson while we were looking on, got him playing Mission Impossible in no time. Great place to sip a smoothie and breathe it in
What an amazing place. I was here for the first time to see a special RnB performance. I met all sorts of wonderful people. There was a really nice guy there who did the artwork hanging on the walls. They are all finger painted with masterful skill. This is a vegan establishment. While I am not vegan, I thought the smoothies were the best I have ever had. They have a vegan brunch on Sundays (I think) and I want to try it out just to experience what a Vegan eats in their natural environment.
Unless youre allergic to veggies, you should try this place. The incorporated art (look at the paintings but also beyond) is fantastic. I notice something new each time I go. Theres an amazing inviting atmosphere.Kudos to the Tuckers. I always leave feeling a bit more human.
This place is pretty cool and the staff were super nice and helpful. The food was good even though we didnt end up getting what we came in for. I wanted an acai bowl and my wife wanted a smoothie. They were out of fruit except some odds and ends. The person behind the counter did what she could and made me a smoothie bowl. My wife got a green drink that teased good, but was a little chunky. The art here is really cool and in theme with the name. I like the humanizing of trees and hope it leads people to treating the environment respectfully. I will visit again if I come to this town again.
Well first I will say I was very excited to find a Vegan Restaurant in Augusta (Im visiting). I called the restaurant prior to taking to drive, I was placed on hold for more than 15 minutes. I hung up and called several more times with no response. I decided to go anyways thinking maybe they are very busy.To my surprise they were pretty much empty.I asked what was hot, I was directed to the printed menu. They only offered sandwiches and the soup of the day.I asked for the dessert menu was told they had Smoothies for dessert.I was very disappointed with my experience.
This place is amazing! If you want quality, wholesome pressed juice, this is the place. The food is also to die for and it is the best vegan food I’ve ever had. There are also cool events and it’s worth going just to see the wonderful art that is created by Mr. Baruti. Love these folks, they will treat you like family!
This place is fantastic. They have a great veggie sandwich the beet sandwich, its a great price, great taste and very filling. They also have some unique, interesting smoothies, soups, juices and other sandwiches. They were also very kid-friendly, the cashier was very patient with my 9 year old who wanted to order for herself and pay herself. Then we went into the studio and the artist was really nice to the kids and myself and told us a bit about his process, while he painted. He also said he offers art classes on Saturday which I plan to sign up for soon. I dont eat out a lot or end up downtown a lot but this is one reason for me to plan to do so, there is no other entirely vegan, nothing to worry about restaurant in the area.
We absolutely LOVE this place. We order here quite often. The food is delicious. Im grateful that a vegan restaurant that serves great food, juices and smoothies has opened up in the CSRA. Im also super grateful they deliver! I got a six pack of Gingerade delivered earlier this week along with their new vegan burger that is made out of beets and other plants and grains. Although not all ingredients are available at all times, they offer amazing choices. On top of that all of their food is fresh and local. Realistically not all ingredients can be available considering the aspect of having fresh food daily. Thank you opening, please expand.
Heaven on Earth!!! Once you go in, you never want to leave. The atmosphere is amazing! The people are so loving, knowledgeable and friendly. The food is everything. You can taste the love in every bite and the smoothies are the best! And the best part is its all vegan!!! 🥰🙏🏾🙌🏾🔥🤩🤩🤩
Amazing vibes, food that is tasty and healthy and friendly souls working customer service. We will be back and telling all my friends, vegan or not. I was extremely impressed!y six year old had the vegan grilled cheese, sliced apples on the side and a white bear (banana, almond milk, nut butter kids smoothie). My two year old had a vegan pb&j with sliced bananas on the side and a purple gorilla (strawberry blueberry banana kids smoothie). My kids cleaned their plates! I had the veggie burger with slaw on the side and a brain feeder smoothie.
What is this Augusta?? Ill tell you..the best decision you can make 2020😊 . This place has a vibe like another... beautiful art on the walls, cozy lounge area, and STONES😝..lots of them quartz, amethyst, jade..you name it..they got it. Didnt try any food, but when I do... post I shall 💪🏾🤸🏾♀️.
Out door seating, sidewalk cafe feeling, deceptive looking windows, and an innocent looking doorway, all hid an extremely intimate interior, which was alive with color a warm ambiance and some incredible hand painted murals on all of the walls. The food is all vegan, and it will be very difficult to choose an item that you will not like...And the service like the food is great. Courteous personal staff, all supported by the owners who move around making sure that your experience is memorable. You must take a moment to examine the interiors walls for some visually stimulating murals all hand painted. The owner does not use a brush, every bit of art is done using only his hands and fingers...but the result is an amazing production that must be seen to believe. There is also a stage where live music can be enjoyed. We were fortunate to be there to enjoy an evening of live Blues music performed by a group from Atlanta. The place is deceptive looking from the outside, the environment on the inside is enticing, the food is great and the service excellent. We will be adding Humanitree on our list of best places in downtown Augusta Georgia.
Wow! Everything was outstanding! What a joy to share delicious, ample plant based food in such a creative, welcoming environment. Beautiful art, great staff, very attentive and pleasant. The lentil soup, kale salad, BBQ jackfruit, vegan burger, and smoothie bowls were unparalleled in taste, texture, and value. Take your carnivorous friends, they wont complain!
I have been to both locations, new and old, the more room you give this man, the more he will amaze you with his talented hands. Im not talking about the food...... yet.The decor is something from a vegan art gallery of love and connection with life around us. If you arent vegan who cares talent is talent. Now. The food..............Pardon the pause, I was stuffing my face as I usually do when Im at the Tree. Dont ask me what to eat, but dont be dumb and not eat anything. This mans artistry is beyond a perfect reflection of his love for the power of healthy eating. Vegan has been a blessing to me and many, but the transition can be so hard. Not in Augusta though, not in Augusta. This guys skills are much better than you could expect from a vegan deli. If youre in Augusta this is a five star must try. Period. Let my pictures speak for themselves, thanks Brother B. Sincerely, Get Lowe.
THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!! If you live in Augusta and havent been here what is wrong with you? I am so so so happy that Augusta has this awesome place and I love the new spot. The relaxing vibes that you get as soon as you walk in the door is what is important to me. there is beautiful art work and music all the time. They have shows (which I wish there were more of) that bring a whole new feel downtown. YOU MUST GO HERE!!!
Wow! This morning was my first time coming to this establishment. Is it possible for a restaurant to give you a sense of belonging? Because thats exactly how I felt when I entered. The environment was warm and inviting, the artwork I simply have no words for, it is really just that amazing. I ordered the almond cream protein shake, a VLT and a kale salad for lunch. I anticipate returning and Im not even a Vegan. Lol!
I didnt know what to expect, but I liked what I got. Humanitree House is half organic vegan cafe and half art studio. Im neither vegan nor an artist, but I will be back. The Unphilly and beet burger were very good. I liked my fruity smoothie but not the chocolate goddess. The unique finger-painted art and the message from the artist are worth checking out.
The environment was great! Its filled with hand painted pictures and artwork. One of the co-owners was interacting with the guests making them feel comfortable and explaining various pieces of artwork. Staff was friendly as well. Only drawback is that they ran out of their favorite item on the menu. The VLT, which is the vegetarian version of the BLT. It was my first time and I was looking forward to trying it. I opted for the Vegan burger with avocado instead and was very pleased. I will definitely be back.
Decent vegan food, wish it had been a little more flavorful, nice atmosphere, excellent selection of cold-pressed juices (Sweet Dream sis a fav) and smoothies (bowls looked awesome), very pricy. I had the UnPhilly on a Gluten Free Bun with a side of slaw. I would order it again.
I was so interested in trying this restaurant out until today! My co-worker went to there today and order a veggie burger with no sauce....he gets his sandwich and theres sauce on. He turns around and lets the cashier know that his sandwich wasnt prepared the way he ordered. She kindly takes that burger back and returns it within 5 mins. Initially took 15 mins to prepare the burger.Well, he gets outside and looks at the trimming on the burger and what does he find.....you guessed it. They wiped the sauce off the burger instead of preparing him another one. Which is disrespectful and nasty! The total cost of the burger was between $8-9, which is quite expensive for someone to disrespect ones food wiping off with a knife, or paper towel, or fingers....hey who knows what they used. All in all, respect your customer request, time and money and they will return and not have such bad things to say about your business.Update: So I although I still havent tried this restaurant for myself. I really appreciate the feedback from the owner. Her response went well beyond what most offer in terms of customer service and for that alone I have decided to re-evaluate my review and hope to one day try Humanitree House. Thanks!
Unfortunately I dropped my rating down because every time I go there they are consistently missing menu items. Theres no point in advertising sandwiches that you never have. 😕 This had happened at least the past 5+ times Ive went. They never have the VLT and often are out of the MOFO. The food is awesome though, if they have it .
I love love love the interior, the people, the drinks and certainly the occasional events that involve sip n paint or live music. And if I ever get sick, naturally that is my first stop for healing teas. I only wish there was a minority owned food and beverage proprietor that had operating hours outside of 9 to 5 so that those of us who work 9 to 5 approximately can come spend our local dollars with a local minority business for evening food. Im not saying full dinner. But I give so much of my money away to everyone else after 5pm and would rather give it away here. Maybe one day my city will support more.
Amazing vegan food!I got the a ChickUN filly on a gluten free onion roll and added BBQ sauce and a side of Soul Slaw along with a spicy ginger cayanne lemonade called a Sunshine Ginger-Aide.My boyfriend got a chocolate goddess smoothie and they happily swapped some fruit out for him. The art is amazing, the food is 10/10 and the staff couldnt be nicer. Kid friendly too!
The veggie burger in a wrap was really good~ the soup of the day was tasty but Im pretty sure used a lot of nutritional yeast if youre ok with that. The cold pressed juice was delicious. The acai bowl was not as good as Id hoped. The base was a watery/icy consistency probably using some sort of nut milk (hopefully not soy, but I didnt check). Maybe their pitaya bowl is better~ Id definitely come back though if I was in the area again. Definitely worth a visit~ vibe and music was really cool too
Feeds my mind, body and soul. The food is phenomenal. Beet Trip is my new fav but I love all of the juices. The tropical bowl is my new addiction and the Afro-Beats Houose Music typically playing in the background soothes my soul in a deep meaningful way that I just cant quiet describe. I adore the owners and their family in general are one of a kind.
THIS IS A RARE JEWEL IN AUGUSTA. The vibe alone makes it seem like youve left the city and come to some type of hipster haven. Such fresh food and all completely vegan so you feel clean eating it. I recommend the avocado wrap or the jamaican mon smoothie (personal favorites) but you cant really go wrong! They write cute and inspiring messages on your tray and have awesome interior decor -- artwork and work spaces. Theres an art gallery inside with some beautiful works and books as well. They have a performance space -- I havent seen any performances there yet but definitely worth checking out!
An excellent contribution to living as a vegan. Delicious food and the best cold-pressed juice in Augusta and endless tea. If you have any questions on transitioning to vegan or just want to eat plant-based, this is where you should be. Health is Wealth PLEASE! PLEASE! Browse the art gallery where Brutha B displays his breathtaking talent. You will feel the love when you step into Humanitree House. Denise, Brutha B and the staff are amazing
Food is GREAT. Atmosphere is relaxing. Everyone working the front counter should not! Customers service should be your number one priority in order to keep a thriving business. If I have to speak to you first after Ive been in line for a few minutes....we have a problem. No smile, a flat affect. Then you observing someone elses conversation instead of taking my money... poor customer service. Always smile and greet each and every customer no matter how your day is going.
Everything at humanitree house is delicious. From the beet burger, to the pressed juices, to the smoothies I have never had something that wasnt an immediate favorite. Talk about a talented family. Barutis art is fantastic, and the vibe that they have created in their building makes it both exciting and welcoming. Even if you are not vegan or not a vegetarian you will love this place! There is something for everyone. ❤️
By far my favorite sanctuary in Augusta, this place always gives me an instant wave of relaxation the minute I enter the front door. The environment, art, people, and food are beyond amazing! Everything here is made with love, so if youre looking for a real Augusta community experience - come here!!!
My 1st experience was so friendly based. They had ran out of a wrap I wanted. The GM made hs best effort 2 make sure I got it. The team itself is very nice and considerate. I cant express enuff hw great my wrap was.I also loved my juice. I will try others on the menu, but rite nw the VLT got me. 😁Im glad I was introduced by my daughter. Unfortunately I wasnt able 2 go inside and check out The kool environment Iv heard about. Nex time tho. But the GM was more than willing and nice enuff 2 bring it 2 my car. Now thats love 4 their customers. Thanks so much! Cant wait 2 return.
Comfortable and friendly a great place to hang out and socialize with local Augusta up and coming artists and locals. Features a vegetarian food and smoothies art and furnishings are also available to purchase there also. Parking can be a challenge but Beoad street has public streetside and parking lot acess.
Humanitree House is a Page I follow on Instagram and had in a file named “Places to Eat”...This file includes places that I would like to try if in the area. I had to travel to Aiken and thought about how close it was and I wanted to stop by for Lunch... OMGOODNESS exceeded All Expectations ... The Vibe when you walk in with the Music *Artwork* Eclectic Seating... Gosh I wish I lived closer, but a Day Trip will do. The staff was very friendly and I asked for suggestions... Brice recommended the “Green Goddess” Juice and it was #Divine and for my meal I had the Chicken Philly w/Kale Salad and my Friend had the Bean Burger both were in wraps #DELICIOUS (not the exact names..can’t quite remember the sandwich names) ... All I can think about is when shall I return ❣️❤️❣️Thanks Brice for all of your recommendations Until next time 😃
Humanitrippin. Im all for the granola hipster stuff BUT I paid over $20 for the saddest tacos with a side of Mission Tortilla chips and Pace Picante salsa. The Matcha Madness smoothie tasted how I would imagine if blueberries sitting in the sun for days and bananas in your freezer for 5 years had sex, nothing Matcha about it. If youre in the area for work stick to Nacho Mamas or The Hive.
Its a beautiful place filled with breathtaking art, the food and drinks are great, and when you enter the place it just gives off so many positive vibes and the people who work there are very polite making the experience even better and you also get to meet the artist behind all of the art pieces

2022-04-21Today I ordered two cold pressed, raw, organic juices - Sunshine Ginger (lemon, ginger, agave & LOVE) and The Reboot (kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, pear, & LOVE). They are only 2 of the amazing cold press juice options you can find there. I also ordered the ChikUN Philly wrap and a Jamaicamon smoothie with a side of kale salad - also favorites! The food is delicious and always cooked to order, fresh, and flavorful. No matter what your taste buds are craving, there is something for everyone at Humanitree! They have definitely raised the bar for vegan options. Plenty of seating, great music, and phenomenal artwork. Oh! And Im loving my new tshirt!

2022-05-13I got the vegan chipotle burger that was on special and it was soooo good I had to ask the manager to confirm it was a vegan meal! I don’t always eat Vegan or vegetarian food, but if I could eat here everyday I just might. That meal hit the spot I loved every bite :) kale side salad was very good too and Their juices and smoothies are also delicious. Fun and cozy environment with Friendly staff. I can’t wait to go back!

2022-03-24Not one to write reviews, but I stopped in for lunch before hitting the road back to Atlanta and intended to just grab a smoothie, but also left with an iced Thai tea and the mushroom burger made into a wrap because the food smelled too good to not try it. Sincerely nice people working there, left a great impression and food/drink were all great.

2022-06-02This place is super interesting. Vegan/Vegetarian style food. There is music and tons of comfy places to sit. Bathrooms are available. There is a stall right in front that sells crystals and jewelry made with crystals. I love all of the art work on the walls.Only thing is this place takes their time with food, so recommend getting a smoothie or juice to hold you over while waiting for food. Great place to come and hang out for a few hours, not so much if you are on a schedule. The bathrooms are dark and may be difficult for some people. We didnt really vibe with the food we got and were slightly disappointed but dont let that deter you from at least experiencing this place.

2021-07-17My favorite restaurant in Augusta , always friendly service, good food , nice set up with the colorful African art everywhere, and nice music....its just a real good environment to be in....
