Very disappointed with the room (need updates/renovations, disgusting carpet, clogged tub drain from hair, not clean). And to top it off, I was billed twice (Priceline and hotel) which I was trying to explain when I saw it pending on card. Don’t do 3rd party bc you’ll get the worst rooms, weren’t accommodating for their mistake, just “Sorry!!”
Our stay was excellent. Like any hotel stay, we had little issues, but the staff was so kind and accommodating. They even gave us a card for our anniversary which we happened to be celebrating. What a great room and really great people to make it feel like a home away from home. Well be back!
I recently stayed here at this hotel while on my way back home. I like Hyatt Place hotels. They are generally of good quality and their rooms have a suite feel to them since they have a sofa and tv separated from the bed area. I am downgrading my review for a couple of reasons. I was put in a room facing the road in the front of the hotel. I didnt think much about it until about 5:00 am when the road noise started. I couldnt go back to sleep because of the constant road noise. Being a Hyatt member, you would have thought they would put me in a better room but they didnt. Another thing I didnt like is the choice of food options they had available. At other Hyatt Places they options are a little nicer. This place looks like they raided a vending machine and put every candy bar they could find in the display case. How about something healthy? How about egg white bites that were at the last Hyatt Place I stayed at? I like the location in that it was away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Atlanta but the management here needs to do better. Treat your Hyatt members better and put out some decent food!
Stayed at the Hyatt Johns creek for 4 nights with my family. Three kids and two adults. The staff was amazing. Always helpful. Always cheerful. And also very accommodating. Loved our stay. This is going to be our go to hotel whenever we are in town to visit family. Hands down best hotel I have ever stayed at. Please say thank you to all of your staff. Especially Jeremy and a young gentlemen who worked the afternoon/night shift.
It was a terrible stay. This is because my wife, daughter and I were bitten several times by bedbugs. The first managers response to my protest was satisfactory. He kindly moved the room and said he would compensate with rewards I could use in the future. However, they didnt keep their promises, and the general manager is not replying to my email.
Positive: Bed are soft and pillows are soft n Negative: Our first room smelled of cigarettes. We were given another room but it wasn¿t as tidy. Two bathing towels had reddish stains on them and a hand towel for drying our hands was dirty as well. There were stains on the carpet. I expected better
The employees are fantastic. The pool area is lovely. There are so many stores and restaurants nearby, great location. The few minor issues I did have were addressed immediately and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. The manager Bobbie was very professional and concerned about making sure I was satisfied. Cant wait to return!
The majority of the front office staff is nice. It may be the manager, he sits in the front office, but he could use courses in customer service because it is lacking. The hotel cleanliness needs to be improved, but it is a decent hotel for a short stay.Updated response to manager’s post:You are the same person the checked me into the hotel and rolled his eyed when asking for assistance. The problem was definitely a continued issue of being able to provide customer service. I didn’t feel very welcome in our initial interaction.
I was traveling in a big group and we went to our room and immediately noticed it wasn’t clean. Soon we realized there was a bug in our bed, mold on our shower curtain, and the grout in the bathroom was 5 different colors. The shower was leaking onto the floor, the carpet was torn up and dirty. We ended up switching rooms. Out next room was clean, however the fridge was left open and the water was only hot, no matter what way you turned the knob it was hot. Because of covid (i hope) the breakfast options werent great and was mostly packaged foods. The facilities were nice but small. And the elevators had broken buttons and took forever (likely due to the amount of people in the group) so we just took the stairs most of the time.
I only give this 2 stars because Quincy (night clerk) has a great attitude and is very helpful. Our carpet was not vacuumed and the fridge door was wide open with a towel in it. They had at least defrosted it, but didnt finish the job. The bathroom is really small and the entire place is needs an upgrade badly. The beds were pretty comfortable.
I had an amazing stay at this clean professional Hotel! Front desk manager Terri worked extra hard including her staff on second shift to help me with a small mistake Ive made. I also got there late, front desk showed me how to look up food on this big screen up front, plus were extra nice to my 5 yr old
Love the experience at Hyatt. Friendly staff and free breakfast although the food can be cooked a bit better. Feel like the scrambled eggs are a bit over cooked every time I stayed there. What I love the most about this location which is missing from most others is that there is a trail and pond right behind the hotel. You could walk around after dinner and enjoy the beautiful views.
An old hotel that desperately needs the rooms updated. The reception seating area was also very dirty with furnitufull of stains and just undesirable. The breakfast area was clean. The room furnishings had seen better days like 10 yrs ago. Everything seemed outdated. The only reason this is a 3 star is because the staff were very polite and friendly.
When we arrived at 4:00 PM, we were greeted immediately and after waiting for two elevators due to Covid-19, we got to our room. The key had not been activated, so my husband had to go back to the desk to get a working key. When we opened the door to our room, it contained two double beds instead of the king-sized bed that we had reserved, so my husband went to the front desk again. We were told that if we wanted the room we had reserved, we would have to wait for another room to be cleaned. Since we had traveled quite a distance, we were too tired to wait. I would like to mention that we were trying to celebrate our anniversary. The vanity area of the bathroom was adequate but the toilet and shower room was so small that we had to maneuver around the toilet to be able to close the door.Around 8:00 PM, the fire alarm went off because another guest had overcooked popcorn in the microwave. Prior to that time we were subjected to continual shouting and doors slamming all around us. We later found out that a large party of people were also on our floor who apparently had no regard for the other guests on the floor.I was ready to leave at this point but my husband went to the front desk (again) and asked Amber to please get the third floor under control. Fortunately, we were able to get some sleep at that point. Perhaps it would be best not to put guests on the same floor as other large groups, if possible and it would definitely be nice to be told that the room that we had reserved was not available when we first checked in.
Overall, its a nice hotel. Especially with fewer selection out in the suburbs of Atlanta. The room is clean and certainly acceptable. But it needs a little TLC. There is some mold inside the caulking around the tub. The door to the bathroom is splintered and falling apart at the base. It looks like someone screwdriver(ed) their way into the bathroom? The bedroom carpeting is looking a little worn, not bad but could stand to be replaced. The beds are very comfortable, sheets are clean, the room is clean. A bit outdated- could possibly stand a remodel. The scariest thing was the elevator, it creaks and groans and stutters as it moves up and down. I think Ill take the stairs. LOL. Dont be afraid to stay here its a nice place, it just needs some minor to moderate attention.
Rooms were dirty. Fridge not cleaned, toilet not cleaned well, beds caused itching from sheet. Told general manager, showed him the room, told him we were checking out early. He got an attitude with me. Unbelievable. No apologies for the inconvenience, acknowledgment of wrong or even an attempt to make things right. Not even an offer of another room. Folded hands, tone of voice. Sad.Will not be a repeat customer.Priceline quickly refunded my money.Quality of service and customer service go a long way.
Positive: The location was great! Negative: The staff was extremely unprofessional. Was assigned a room with ink stains on the carpet, stains on the couch and marks on the walls. There was a water main break while we there and we couldn¿t use the water for hours. No complimentary stay offered.
Positive: It¿s a Hyatt so you can be pretty sure it¿s going to be clean, which it was. The breakfast options were decent especially in these strange times. Negative: 3 complaints. 1) the bathroom was very small. You had to stand between the shower and the toilet to be able to open the door 2) the WiFi was awful. Forget about streaming anything at times you couldn¿t even visit a website 3) they need to light the dri
I didnt see a big sign from the road so it can be a little hard to find unless you get here using a GPS. The lobby is cozy and has seats to chill in, it doubles as the dining area for the free breakfast which was very nice. Rooms have a little musty smell, but its not that bad. We liked the rooms layout where you have it segmented into different small areas (living room/kitchenette/bed/bathroom). The bed, pillows & blankets were clean and soft. Behind the hotel, theres even a small shaded trail that circles around a small pond.
I usually stay at Hyatt brand hotels when I travel but this particular location. Missed the mark. The TV did not work and when I reported it there supposedly was no other rooms. The parking lot was not very full, I have a hard time believing that they were booked solid. Tha ac and heat did not work either. When I told the front desk about that they did nothing. The temperatures dropped in the night so it would have been nice to have a warmer room, especially getting out the shower! And the shower... I get people shed hairs but there were so many hairs in the shower. Like I said, Hyatt us normally decent brand hotels but I would steer clear of this one. Very disappointing.
Pros.. the staff is amazing which they deserve a 5 star rating. the location is very safe. The rooms are a great size.Cons. This deserves a 1 star. When I walked into my room it smelled of mildew. The air vents had mold and mildew. I was to tired to change rooms as I arrived late night. It definitely wasnt at the same level as the other Hyatt Places Ive stayed at in the past. Im surprised they dont stay ontop of cleaning the air conditioner vents.
The service is just perfect 👌From the day we arrived at the hotel, welcomed nicely by one of the manager to the day we forgot a plush. They also put a drawing with the plush we forgot. Thats a luxury 5***** touch !Deserve 6/5.By the way, ask a room with the lake and wood view, really enjoyable.Thank you again to the full team. The french family.
Pretty good rates and in a very safe area. Bonus there is a pretty pond with walking trail that is for exercising and seeing a few Herons, ducks or Turtles! If your room is on the back side of the Hyatt then you get a nice view. Most people staying here seem to be short term business travellers and the staff is super nice! So many delivery choices for meals too!
Unsanitary hotel with stained furniture & bedding, with hair in pillow cases & worn out furniture; full of dust & dead cockroach! Staff moved me to three different rooms and all had more or less issues & fridge door not opening or closing showing the lack of cleanliness! Microwave are not available in all room so the ad is misleading. Breakfast ends at 9am and is in the go, pool is closed, fitness room is tiny for a single person. Not a pleasant nor comfortable stay! Disappointed with Hyatt’s standard & manager offered to move me to a competitor hotel! That how honestly in poor condition it is. Cordial but not friendly morning staff. Never going back!
This hotel is lovely and perfect for traveling during a pandemic. There is hand saniter everywhere, staff wear mask and keep distance, and its very clean. Also you can see a beautiful lake, the greenest of grass, and a long clean walk way. Which is amazing for morning walks and enjoying outside. Would recommend!
Im not usually comfortable in hotels, but this place rocks! My kids and I are staying here while our house is repaired (burst pipe over Christmas) and we love it. The beds are comfortable, the room is large, and we even have a large seating area. The staff is super-helpful and cheerful. The good is great too - i recommend the grilled cheese and the Tuscany meal. Another great thing is that the place smells great. Its also quiet - I cant hear anything through the walls, and the room is nice and dark for sleep time. Highly recommended!
I don’t know how this hotel got more than 1 star!!! The guy at the front desk is RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Who also had no name badge on and refused to give his name. My wife and I checked in on Saturday 10th October 2020 I just told him my sink was blocked and needed to get something to open up the blocker. And this man couldn’t help his frustration working alone that busy weekend. One room wasn’t cleaned out! Another smelt so bad! And the one we settled for had a cold low pressured shower... warning fellow google local guides beware!!! An awful experience and won’t be coming back! Managers look into this.
Antwan is the warmest, friendliest person I have probably ever met. We had a really bad experience earlier and ended up at this beautiful clean hotel hotel. I couldnt be happier. Antwan did everything and more to make us feel comfortable! He is a huge asset to this hotel! I would def recommend.
I loved my stay here. For the price this place has a lot of little amenities. A real glass on the counter instead of a plastic cup. Huge TV. Inputs for computers and such. Lovely blanket to wrap up in on couch. Bed super comfy. Ordered the BBQ chicken pizza that night, very tasty! The breakfast the next morning was amazing. Only one thing bugged me which was that the water never got very hot in the shower. Otherwise a wonderful stay!
Stayed here for 4 nights. The managers and co were very prompt and great to talk to.Breakfast was tasty, but still needs improvement. Rooms were clean and tidy upon arrival and were taken care of everyday.Ive stayed in other Hyatt Place and I think this is comparatively small.I Would certainly like to stay here again.
I absolutely loved and enjoyed my stay here.Whenever Im in the area I will be staying here. Bobbie was so helpful and professional. Everything is was clean and Sanitized. Im very comfortable with the safety guidelines for Covid19. Bobbie made me feel so at home and welcome. Thanks for everything.
The only reason I gave 1 star is because the manager, Ms. Bobby, and the housekeeper, Carmen, were both absolutely amazing. Saving grace of the entire property. Everything else about this property was absolutely horrid. My reservation was never updated from the 1800 number where I made the reservation and the hotel originally did not know I was even checking in until I called to tell them. The bathroom was filthy (which Ms. Bobby handled for me immediately and Mrs. Carmen had to reclean for the first lady who showed up and asked me to specifically point out the dirt I was seeing), the shower never even got warm after I let it run for the better part of ten minutes, the second night there was a party or something going on in the lobby where people were so crazy loud at like 10pm, and NO ONE answered the phone at the front desk for almost 2 hours to try to help me with the shower or the people down the hall in the lobby (9-11pm). I ended up leaving at 11pm in my pjs it was so awful and checking into another hotel down the street with hot water and a quiet lobby at midnight. When I called customer service, I was asked why I didnt walk to the front desk where the party was to see what was going on and if it was a party or to see why the front desk person was not answering the phone. Why in the world I would need to do that as a guest OR during Covid is beyond me. Customer service supervisor told me, Well maybe that specific hotel does not have a quiet hour. I dont know. Will never stay at this Hyatt ever again.
Great rooms. We love having a sitting area to relax and watch tv. Beds are comfortable and we always sleep great. Be sure to eat breakfast as it is very tasty with a lot of items to choose from. Employees are very friendly and will help you out with anything you may want or need
The staff is excellent from everyone working the front desk to housekeeping. They’re doing such a great job during this time! Bert, Bobbie, Wayne, Zorrest, Terri, Carmen, and Judy are all outstanding employees! I highly recommend the Hyatt in Johns Creek. Every staff member gives 110% at all times. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Johns Creek, look no further!
This place is very nice. The room was bigger than I had expected it to be. My room view was of a nice pond or small lake with a walking trial that would have been a nice stroll. Even though the road is right in front the hotel must be sound proof because I did not hear any outside noise. One note, if a full bar is a must for your hotel stay then I might have to recommend you look elsewhere. This place does have a miniature bar but it may be a real let down for those wanting a full bar.
I wasnt a guest, I had been stuck in traffic and Jeep overheated. I had coolant but needed water, the staff gladly gave me water and made sure I was good to get back on the road. Outstanding people work here,. And its a beautiful hotel. Id love to stay there sometime.
The Good - My overall stay was very nice except for one bad experience. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was better than expected. The Bad - I had a very bad experience with a front desk employee, Phillip. He was very rude when I came down to pick up towels that I had asked for. When I went back to my room, I realized he did not include wash cloths that I specifically requested, so I went back to front desk and nobody was there. I waited for about 5 minutes and walked to my car momentarily and I see Phillip sitting in his car smoking. Very unhappy with the lack of professionalism of this individual.I gave 4 out of 5 stars because I didn’t want one bad apple to ruin the mostly positive experience I had at Hyatt Place.By the way, the morning staff was very pleasant and helpful. A lady made me a cappuccino and was literally running the front desk and breakfast by herself. She rocked!
Spacious rooms, lots of mirrors, more than essential furniture, big tv and the bed was nice, I mean really nice. Free breakfast could use some variations for guests staying longer durations otherwise its awesome.Staff was nice, ample parking spaceIf you want to go for a walk theres a little lake behind the hotel. Kind of secluded but nice paved track.Only downside was they dont have a guest laundry room.
This is my second time staying at this location, I must say never disappointed it was an Awesome stay once again. The hotel was very clean, the room was very spacious, with comfortable beds. The staffs hospitality was the best. Im very finicky when it comes to hotels and I definitely recommend staying here.
We go here about once or twice a year since it’s close to our house, typically either as a quick getaway or after we’ve had the exterminator to the house.I have previously rated this hotel with four stars, but our recent stay was frankly bad. My wife was checking in while our house was getting a new roof to avoid any kind of allergic response from the construction work. We are Hyatt rewards members, so we had requested a high floor facing the back on the reservation. When we got to the hotel, they had no knowledge of the requests that were on the reservation. Customer service was very average; the man helping us did his job, but was rather terse and not very friendly. We ended up being on the third floor, despite the high floor reservation.More importantly, a few minutes after we entered the room, my wife started having a fairly severe allergic reaction. She went to the window unit HVAC and pulled out two very clogged and filthy air filters. She immediately took these down to the lobby to get them addressed. The hotel personnel kind of shied away from her when she was polite but insisting on this being addressed, though they did call a very polite maintenance man who was very helpful in getting new filters installed.Unfortunately, by this point, it was probably too late for the room. Her allergic reaction continued even after the filters were changed since the room still had the residue from the very filthy air filters. We reluctantly decided at that point to check out and the manager grudgingly refunded our money since we hadn’t disturbed anything in the room. My wife’s allergies immediately got better when she walked out to the car, which leads me to believe that our room’s air filter wasn’t the only one that needed cleaning. The hotel overall looks nice and is setup very well. We’ve enjoyed our previous stays here a lot. However, after this experience, I’m not sure we’ll be back soon.
Positive: About midnight I woke to the right side of the bed soaking wet wet with roof rainwater (room 521). No apologies and no one had called to give me a refund for the night. My stay was june 19 and it¿s june 23. Negative: The fact I have not been called or refunded fir the night.
Decent value. Be warned, breakfast buffet is only open until 9 on weekdays, regardless of holidays. Breakfast is slightly better than the average American hotel fare. On the downside, we had a very slow drain in our shower and we had to ask on two different days to get it fixed.
The lobby was cluttered and the entire hotel had a foul aroma. That said, the main facility odor was nothing in comparison to the foulness of the room. I spend anywhere from 80 to 100+ nights a year in hotels and will never again step foot in this facility. Terrible customer service and incredibly rude management.
Staff was friendly and extremely helpful, even after I managed to get myself locked out a few times. The room was clean, and very nice. Breakfast was hot and good every morning, and the wi-fi is super fast. Theres a small pond out back thats lovely to walk around during the day, and the gym is clean and well kept.
Nice hotel. The breakfast they serve is great. But if you buy a juice out the lobby 😒I thought they were on crack, $5 for a small juice, but I guess thats what the South is about. Im from Detroit, that same juice would have been$1.50. but anyway I didnt buy it my friend dumb self did. The rooms can stand to be clean better. They should at least once a week have detailed cleaning. Anyway I would stay again, but if my room had the same issue as before, I would definitely complain. They got a pass this time. 😏😊
The rooms were very large but need to be updated. The AC unit worked but knobs were broken. The hot/cold water were backwards in the wet bar. The wallpaper was peeling back in the bathroom. The coffee pot was broken. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. It wasnt awful but I will likely not be staying here again.
I stayed here for almost 8 months multiple days a week. The service was very good. The rooms are clean and management is pretty decent. An absolute boat load of things to do around this spot. More places to eat than I can hit up in 8 months even. When I was there they had a nice trade out with the Forum Gym down the road. I highly recommend this Hyatt property. The breakfast is pretty decent too for this level of Hotel.
I stayed here twice for business in February 15. Both rooms were filthy, I found clumps of hair on the floor as if someone had cut their hair. There were many stains that could have easily been cleaned by the staff. The AC units were packed with debris, turning them on resulted in a layer of dirt and plant material on the beds. The rooms had a good deal of wear and tear, and easily repaired light damage.During my entire week+ stay one elevator was non functional. The WiFi was unuseably slow and unsecured, and you would have been lucky to find a corner with any signal.I was charged 3 times but only stayed twice and invoiced twice. I called to resolve and they hung up on me. Ended up calling the credit card company. On my second stay another guest tried to get into my room as he had been assigned the same room. The staff were very friendly but that does not make up for the abysmal facilities.
This is our go-to hotel when we visit with family in Alpharetta. I like the suite set-up so you can stay up and watch TV and not disturb the sleepers. The breakfast is usually very good. But the coffee does leave much to be desired. I think its because they serve Starbucks at the bar and want you to buy that. So the coffee on the breakfast bar is weak.We were awaken by a fire alarm early Saturday morning. But all was well. Its a family friendly hotel, clean, adequate parking, and has served our needs on many trips to visit our children.
We went for a wedding. When we entered we were greeted by Keianna and Bradon with a hello and smile. The room was great bed comfy. The icing on the cake the park for evening walks. My husband spent a whole afternoon at the rec. center. There was nothing I can say about our stay.
Not a bad place, only reason for the negative review is because there was no hot water in our shower and we had to switch rooms in the morning which made us late for a meeting. Amazingly, when I mentioned this on the survey sent by Hyatt, the manager sent me an email whining about my review! In response to the manager, your company asked me for a review. Just because you gave me a free night doesnt mean I wont tell the truth about your facility, so stop whining and run your property better!
Very enjoyable. Its more of a place than just a room. Even tho the room was very well laid out & there is room service its more enjoyable tho to walk on out to the front where people gather, have a drink, bite of food. This will definitely be my GO-TO when traveling in the area.
While still being a budget hotel, this place packs a lot of value for your dollar. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms have a modern aesthetic and full of features that will appeal to frequent travelers and vacationers alike. They offer 24/7 food options without the over inflated room service prices. A full breakfast buffet every morning and a bar with an essential selection of wine, beer and liquor in the lobby. The water pressure was great even up at the 5th floor. The beds are comfortable and the wifi is strong and reliable. Lots of power outlets and USB ports for charging. The only cons that I could think of is that the room layouts can be awkward. This hasnt bothered me at all but it may bother others. The TV is positioned so that one can watch from the couch or the bed but that also means you can never sit directly in front of it. Thankfully they have multiple HDMI and AV ports that are EASILY accessible so you can plug in your laptop or gaming console into the TV. Also the closet and drawer space is limited. But seriously, if you cant fit all your clothes into the space provided youre packing too much stuff anyway! This place has eliminated so many of the pet peeves Ive acumulated over the past 4 years as a traveling professional. I encourage anyone on a slim budget to spend the extra $20-$40 per night and have a superior experience here at the Hyatt Place.
Me, my husband and kids stayed here Valentines Day weekend. We had a late check in because we were exploring Atlanta for most of the day and when we arrived we were given a room that had been previously occupied. The beds were slept in and the bathroom was completely disgusting. My kids were wondering why the room looked so dirty. My husband had to return to the first floor to ask for another room. After settling in we were not able to connect to the internet and when complaining about it to staff they did not offer an explanation and kinda just shrugged their shoulders like what are we suppose to do about that? The water while taking showers never really got hot. It was more like a lukewarm. So after all of that, the only thing they offered us was a free glass of wine!!! Really a free glass of wine!!!! Not staying here again. One thing I did like was the breakfast!
I just love this place. I have worked with Wayne and his staff a number of years for all our corporate needs and its always been a pleasant experience. The hotel staff could not be more helpful and our employees have always experienced a high level of customer service when staying there. Thank you for everything, Hyatt Place Johns Creek!
We actually checked into the hotel about 10PM on a Saturday night. We didnt actually get to bed until about 2AM. We awoke for breakfast and upon finishing breakfast, we went to lay back down until check out. We then noticed a bug crawling on one of the pillows, blood spots on the pillow and sheet. Since we were tired and needing to stay in the hotel until at least checkout because we were going to be meeting friends closer to the checkout time, we proceeded to then lay on the couch still in fear that we may be also laying in filth. Once we checked out, we stopped into Wayne, the GMs office because we didnt want to complain to the front desk clerk so we could protect the hotels integrity by not allowing someone else hearing our complaints. Wayne, for lack of a better description, was extremely rude, unconcerned and seemed personally offended as if he had been the one to lay in blood and with bugs. He advised us in a very rude way that he would return our Hyatt rewards that were used for the room. Today, four days later, I contacted Wayne, the GM to advise they had not been returned. He then began explaining to me their policy as if I should know, that he just returned them today, and that he had more important things to do. I am now contacting Hyatt Corporate offices to complain about him. I work for Apple and have never encountered such a rude employee, let alone a General Manager in the hospitality field.
Once we walked in it was great but I needed to pee so i asked someone that I had thought they worked here (since they were behind counter) and they said they didnt work here but he pointed the direction. So once we had everything on the cart, we went towards the elevator. The same man that gave direction came up to me and my family and started complementing and rubbing me on the back (like a massage) but it was by my bra straps and the hook area. That may seem fine because they were on my shoulders and thats a normal everyday bra, but I didnt know him (minding he was drunk). He didnt give his name or anything, so then my uncle came up and said it wasnt normal or okay. I didnt sleep that night. I was also VISITING. We were thinking about relocating to ga but that scared me, (I have a very high fright tolerance). But the staff helped me and my fam. Overall it was a nice hotel.
Got to stay at this hotel too since the Peachtree Corners one was full one night. Sleepy area, but close to my meetings for the few days I was in town (Comcast). The place is like new, clean, and fresh, and the staff were excellent. Would stay here again but the Peachtree Corners Hotel is closer to my new favorite restaurant (Noble Fin) so I prefer to stay there!
This by far has been the worst place stay. I was recommended here by my doctors office who has a corporate rate with this hotel. I chose this hotel also because of its location. However after check in it was clear to me later that night I had made a big mistake. The front desk staff were not available for hours at a time. When I reported this to the manager Wayne he came of his office and made a big scene stating that someone was going to loose there job it was embarrassing by far then he raised his voice saying what do I want to have done about it. Hes not very personable and very rude. The next day I spoke to a few of the workers who told me they never speak to him for that very reason. The next time I came in contact with him he was rude again for no reason I was waiting to be shuttled to Doctors office and as I was saying thank you to him and he cut me off with anything else I can help you with, note tone was harsh. His demeanor was just out right not friendly nor hospitable. Overall the staff were friendly and repeatedly was apologetic on his behalf. I went to get food also as the hotel had a schuttle that could go in any 3Mile radius, the driver said Wayne told him he could only wait 4 mins then he had to leave I went in wendis to order food and he was driving off as I came out the door with food! I didnt want to be dropped off I just wanted to pick up food. My room had spiders and I had to call for house cleaning most days in which I watch the house keeper clean toilet and then wipe down sink with same towel. I could go on and on so happy check out is tomorrow.
I didn’t even get to book anything bc the phone service was atrociously unprofessional. The manager Vladimir is arrogant and a poor trainer, allowing a trainee to be unprofessional and uninformed on the phone. I was going to have 10 rooms booked the weekend of my wedding. $1500 sale lost bc Vladimir doesn’t care about potential guests. I’ll be using the Hilton Garden Inn up the street instead, they were professional and informed.
At check-in I was given keys to someone elses room and walked in on someone getting out of the shower. The next room I was assigned had a used plastic cup on the floor and a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door (whose handle is near falling off). This location is currently under renovation which is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2016 but, after this experience Ill stay at another location on my next trip to Atlanta.
Polite staff. Internet is completely unusable. If you are a business person or anyone who may need to do the most simple things on the internet stay away from this hotel. half of a minute to 2 minutes between mouse clicks to try to navigate the internet. the management is aware of the poor quality of internet and doesnt seem to care.It is unacceptable for a hotel to advertise high speed internet access in these modern times and deliver a service that is much slower than dial up connections from decades ago.
Holes in the wall, burnt out light bulb next to bed, bathroom sinks water facet is broken, shower water handle is broken. . . Not worth ~ $150 a night. Maybe $60? Id pay $75? After a 12 hour day I dont have the energy to call mgmt. about this. Oh well. Rm #318 next to elevator -- maybe its only booked as a last resort?
This was my first time staying at a hyatt place and it was a very bad experience it rain one night and my ceiling in my room was dripping like crazy right next to.my bed all night keeping me awake all night. 2022-02-09Hyatt at this location is very good, comfortable and clean. I reserved a king size room and it was very great with good view. Staff are polite and very accommodating. They allowed me to check in an hour early. This place is perfect for the prices they charge.

2022-06-20Quincy at the front desk went above and beyond to assist us. We purchased a toy car for our child across the street at Five Below. We needed a screwdrivers to open the battery compartment. Quincy made several trips to the office until he found the right mini size. He also happily got us hot water for our nightly cup of tea. We were touched by his kindness, professionalism and willingness to help. I wish this type of customer service was everywhere!

2022-01-30Positive: Well laid out studio style room with kitchenette, and workspace. Couch and bed with dividing wall. Negative: It was not walking distance to any convenience store. They said at night you could usually get something to eat but nothing was available that day, due to covid restocking. Although the front desk was accommodating and gave me ice snd a beverage.

2022-06-01We stayed here for 4 nights (Overall Rating 3/5)1) Front desk support (Rating 5/5)- We were well received and they responded to all my queries and requests swiftly. They also gave me quarters for Washer/Dryer, extra coffee packets for coffee maker, and towels.2) Accommodation (Rating 4/5) The king bed room we had was sizeable and had ample space with nice sofa and with a good flat TV, the air conditioner worked perfectly well. The bathroom was a little small though but was enough. The carpet, however, had a stain next to the bed3) Facilities (Rating 3/5) - The indoor gym, conference room facilities, the ample seating for breakfast and the ample parking space were all good. However, the elevator (only one appeared working) appeared dated; took eons to move between floors and therefore wait time in front of the elevator was high. Consequently, we chose to use the stairs more often, despite the fact that we were in the 4th floor. Also, they only had 2 pairs of washer and dryer and therefore they were busy (during the evening I used it)4) Room Service (Rating 1/5) - For the entire time we stayed there, they didn’t make our bed even once or added towels to the shelves. I had to keep the wet towels and garbage bags outside for them to clean.5) Breakfast (Rating 3/5) - The options/spread were fairly limited. But whatever they had, were fully stacked.

2022-06-14Positive: Customer service was great, they take care all situation in no time, location was great, amenities good and good prices. Negative: Have just 1 elevator available and was scary going up and down bc of the noise, the AC in the room 323 wasn¿t working properly, bathrooms looks old missing caulking (and looking old too moldy). Accommodations are good but is time for remodeling.

2022-01-26Excellent experience at John’s Creek! My husband had to stay there for work for a week and Alex on the sales team was extremely helpful and accommodating to him. Anything he needed the front desk was knowledgeable and professional. If he ever has to come back he will absolutely be staying here again!! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

2022-03-21The stay was TERRIBLE! I always stay at Hyatt Place whenever I can when I travel, however, this hotel was bad on all levels. The hotel itself needs updating. The breakfast was mediocre at best and the coffee was terrible. There was rust, there were water marks on the ceiling, doors need paint, and the furniture just looked worn down and old. The first night stay seemed fine but the second night my husband woke up to bed bug bites all over his body. We switched rooms and before checkout I noticed a bedbug on the bed in the new room. The pillows were stained and there were huge stains on the carpet in both rooms. I expect more from the Hyatt brand and will never stay again. For reference I was in rooms 509 and 521.

2022-02-24My husband and I needed some time away for a few days, so we decided to stay at this location based upon their great reviews and did not disappoint. Our room was very clean and the breakfast was plentiful and very satisfying. There was an unexpected, yet, short-lived emergency that was out of the control of the hotel but Sharmaine Ariza, Assistant General Manager, was a gem with addressing all concerns by assuring that we were comfortable and satisfied with their ratification of the situation. Maritza, who is a new employee, also offered great assistance with communicating the plan of action with us. I work in the hospitality industry and I would give this hotel 100 stars if I could based on stellar customer service, cleanliness of the hotel and a great breakfast. We will definitely be returning to this hotel if we’re ever in the Alpharetta/Duluth area again.

2022-05-28First I booked a room for 6/ 3 adults and 4 kids with walk in shower. First room was great but couch was not a pull out queen so we moved rooms from 2nd floor to the first and that room carpet was dirty never vacuumed, spilled wine on carpet, chocolate inbeded in carpet . So we will be moving again today.
