This location really sucks!!!! Had 5 employees walk by us never acknowledged us from the time we came in 10 minutes after being seated we were invisible to the staff they walked by no one looked at us or anything. Got there at 1130 walked out at 12. 30 minutes there nothing that place needs a serious employee overhaul asap. Never going back to that location EVER!!!! I can understand being short staffed or even if they were busy but I counted 4 to 5 tables most were almost done eating and the staff should have at least said something to us about anything really but no nothing. If I could give a negative grade I would.
Keep driving!! They only take cash! The hostess or my waitress did not inform me until I went to pay then my waitress pointed to the 2 papers taped to the door along with other miscellaneous graffiti on the doors as if there hand written signs were going to stick out. Let’s see how many people don’t pay.
We decided to go there before we catch our flight out. Keep in mind we had 2 hours of time just to eat and relax. The server Caleb was amazing but the cook is a whole different story. The cook literally took an hour half just to make our food. The restaurant wasnt packed by any means. We had to tell Caleb to pack our food in a togo box and we ate our food at the airport . Well never recommend that IHOP. Not only was the cook super slow he ended up getting our order wrong.
I dont get to dine at IHOP often but I enjoy it each time I do.This IHOP is the only one in the area because the other one that was closer to me was bought by the Masters and demolished. I really love their strawberry pancakes. I remember as a child my grandmother would gather all the grandchildren on Saturday mornings and take us to IHOP! I loved the smiley face pancakes too and the different types of syrup you can put on them. To this day they still have great pancakes. The staff is somewhat helpful. I remember the last time I dined here the service was very slow and the waiter couldnt get everybodys orders right. He kept sending our food to the wrong table, and he was nowhere to be found when it was time for refills and paying the bill. But other than that the service and the food is good.
Had a craving for IHOP so I went for lunch and they definitely did not disappoint. The promo Elf on the Shelf Jolly Cakes were literally like having dessert with your meal. They were sweet and delicious. My country fried steak and hashbrowns were fried to perfection. Our waitress, Rachael, was very nice, friendly and attentive to our needs. Thanks for a great lunch IHOP! 🥞
Worst treatment Ive ever experienced at a restaurant. Tasha and Dulce treated me so bad for not fully understanding the menu. I explained that I was hard of hearing, disabled and have a brain injury. They treated even worse once I said that. Waffle House may be cheaper but at least their employees are nicer in most cases.
There was no one to greet us when we walked in and then had to wait a long time for anyone to acknowledge us. They were out of cream for the coffee and the toast was as hard as stone. They only had sugar free jelly. Had to get the attention of another server when we needed something. The rest of food was however great
My husband and I went to ihop in Augusta Ga and decided to get a bite to eat... Big mistake.. the brought my husband the wrong order at first then when the brought the right one after I brought it to their attention it was disgusting.. they brought him cold burnt hashbrowns with a slice of cheese melted on top... It was GROSS. We asked for sweet tea ..what we got was not !! I said something and the waitress said she would get us sweet tea.. she brought back the same tea in the same glasses all they did was poor unbelievable amount if sweetener in it..so much that it formed a crust on the bottom of the glass.. Never will I ever go back!
I would first like to say the employees and food was good. My wife and I stopped in were seated drink order was taken waitress brought me coffee and about 2 onces of milk I stated that I wanted a glass of milk with my meal she said they were short of milk and could only give me the small amount , I asked for half@half for my coffee stated no creamer was available, she took our order shortly food arrived. When we were ready for the bill I was told they were only accepting cash as payment. If I had a card I would have to go next door to a ATMTo get cash. Now from my profession Which I retired from I could see a scam. I explained that I had a card to pay with and that they should have told me when we were seated and that I dont do dishes for my meal the guy said give me a minute please, he was back in about 45 seconds saying No Problem Sir we can take your card.Make note We had a female waitress and a male manager bring the bill.Three stars were for the food and waitressManagement gets ZERO stars Be careful in any establishment when it comes to paying your bill.
Absolutely horrible. Waited 10 minutes to order drinks and another 40 minutes for food before we left. Coffee was disgusting, restaurant was gross, and couldnt get any service. If it was busy, Id understand but there were only 7 tables in the entire restaurant with 6+ staff walking around.
If I could give zero stars I would! Came in with a party of 5. All orders at the table were wrong except 1. We all ordered cheese in our eggs but no eggs came to the table with cheese in it. My sister ordered chocolate chip pancakes but was brought regular pancakes. When asked for it to be corrected, the waitress got an attitude and tried to bring her chocolate chips to just throw on top. I ordered a ham combo and was brought bacon and sausage. When asked for it to be corrected, it took over 30 minutes. My food was cold by the time the ham came. The waitress then proceeded to matter-factly tell me my combo didnt come with ham. I corrected her and told her that i specifically only ordered a ham combo. If she would have taken a moment to actually listen she would have known the food was wrong. She made it seem like it was our fault that our food was wrong. Took over 45 minutes for the order to even come out just for it to all be wrong.Needless to say, service was horrendous, we didnt tip, and we wont be returning.
Tried this location once again since stated was under new ownership, still just as bad if not worse!!! 1st waited about 5 mins be4 any1 came to front to seat us (11:45 on a friday, no1 in lobby, bout 4 tables in dinning area) there was a small child 3/4 running in and out of kitchen.. Finally get seated and food ordered. Our food took about 45 mins ( not good when you on your lunch break) waitress gave food ,walked away be4 we could ask for anything.. (needed syrup for pancakes) never got our whole order ,she never came back to table to check on us, put receiptstable and kept moving. I know its hard to find good help, but Im also a server and I know you atleast try to take care of your customers.. Needless to say that will be our last visit to the Augusta location..
It took the waiters 15 minutes of walking g back and forth in the waiting area to address a line of customers that stretched outside the entrance doors. The food was cold, there were no clean spoons and knives according to what our waitress Jennifer said. Empty condiment bottles were placed on our table for us to use. We asked for refills and and corrections to one order and that was never received. Our ticket was incorrectly charged. When I presented a debit card to pay our waitress, Jennifer, stated it could not be accepted without an ID. Overall terrible experience, unprofessional and inattentive workers, a waste of time and money
From the time i ordered to when i got my food was an hour and 45min... they said it would be ready in 20min so i sat there waiting for over an hour.(they were not busy) as far as condiments they put 1syrup,1jelly,1ketchup in the bag, smh... i ordered a big meal. on a side note, 2people dine and dashed while i was waiting so atleast i was entertained for about 5min, lol..... i wont be coming here again
The chicken strips were hard the service was horrible and the pancakes were super thin and rubbery. They made a party of two wait while they sat a entire family. Drinks with no straws, pancakes with no syrup, coffee with no sugar and the only seasonings they have are salt and pepper.
I have been here a few times with my grandma and it has be really good but this last time not so much my grandmas not the nicest person but our food came out cold this last time there wasnt enough utensils so I had to keep asking for something and the wait time for food was alot longer than normal and I cant help but think it was because of her which I do apologize but some things could have and should have been helped
MAJOR SHOUT OUT TO DEBRA our waitress!!! There was an unfortunate event with another customer and a series of others with the kitchen, nonetheless SHE WAS AWESOME and took excellent care of us. Thank you Debra♡. Also, to the COOK OF THE STEAK TIP MEAL, MAJOR PROPS!!! My husband NEVER eats all of a steak meal when we go out; mostly because he has to eat around fat no matter where its served, or something about it doesnt suite him. He had NOTHING left and helped me with some of mine! (I am currently eating the rest as I type this review at 6:47 AM.) It was seared/cooked to perfection, seasoned just right and cut into appropriate sizes. Thank you! We wound up eating here on our first date years ago after a night out downtown, and last night we came back for our 3 Anniversary AND the 3 Anniversary of my coming home from Healthsouth after surviving a stroke and 2 aneurysms! Second time here since the reopen. Do not come here during the early night shift. Stood at the door for 5 mins because they have one server and shes cashing out, cleaning tables, taking orders, and delivering food. Granted they werent busy but the entire dining room is her own to handle. Food took 30 minutes to get to the table for just some pancakes and a breakfast sampler, no drink refills. (I actually had to flag down the manager to get a refill and I was given one small one between two people.) Everytime I come to this IHOP its always frustrating because I get the service that comes with a lunch rush with all but two or three tables of patrons to serve.
The manger Debra was very rude our food came out cold and in sections after waiting for ever to get not only food but drinks and she only added fuel to our frustration wen she decided she wanted to get loud and argue with us. I had to ask her to lower her voice several times management can make or break an establishment an shes definitely not management Material I will never step foot back in there again which sucks due to it was one of my favorite breakfast spots!
A lot of things on the menu a ran out of and the equipment at this place was broken they shouldve had a backup!! so they couldnt make certain orders on the menu and the cooks or cook dont take pride in preparing the food AKA incorrect orders.. cooking is a art as well
After waiting 15 minutes to be seated, we waited another 20 minutes at the table and a server never came by. We asked if we could get a server and were told that someone would get too us when they had the time. Needless to say, I opted not to stay. Its not very often that I give a one star review but this is definitely one of those situations due to the obscene wait time at the table with no help and the general rudeness of the staff. There are much better IHOPs in the area.
We went in today with our family a group of 6 and waited for 20 minutes before anyone took our name down on a list. They got everyone’s name on a list finally mind you there was several tables open the entire time they just weren’t seating people. When they come back to start calling names the started calling from the bottom of the list people that had only been waiting for 10-15 mins was getting seated they were also a group of 6 we had been waiting for 45 mins at this point. Poor customer service do not recommend this IHOP at all don’t waste your time!
What a downer we have relocated from CA and was looking forward to eating breakfast at a familiar restaurant from home and from the beginning it was dreadful it seems as if they had a security guard in shorts and he pistol was hanging out as he walked from the doorway to the kitchen of the restaurant which alarmed my wife we get seated and the waitress at least 6 times walks by our table and says “I’ll be with you in a second” 45 min later she takes our order. 1 hour later we get our food and the excuse was that the crepes were incorrectly made and had to be remade, but the problem with that is the crepes were cold and the eggs were dry and hard as if they had been sitting for an hour so we got up and left and the manager did not charge us. So we went over to the Waffle House for our breakfast across the street which was a better experience. I hope they get it together
Unfortunately the service was so challenging and we waited over an hour at the table for food, the table seated prior to us never received their food and left disappointed. The staff were trying the best they could however being so short staffed, they just could not keep up.
Got the breakfast sampler, with cheezy scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, sausage links and pancakes. After waiting 20 minutes to even get a cup of coffee we then had to wait 20 more to get our food. The eggs were not terrible but far from great. The bacon was completely flavorless and so overcooked It was like biting into shattering glass. The pancakes were over cooked to the point of being crunchy in spots and just awfully made. Hashbrowns were meh, just too chewy and generally flavorless. Sausage links were actually good. So out of everything at least one thing was good. Skip this ihop. Just go to a huddle house, Dennys or an IHOP with better service/cooksEdit: forgot to mention never got a single refill.
Clara was horrible and completely incompetent. Waited over 20 min for her to bring us the wrong food, she touched the silverwear and our glasses in a completely unsanitary manner. When we asked for a different waitress we still got Clara. During all of this I watched Clara leave another customers credit card unattended 3 different times.Our food was cold, had obviously been sitting for awhile and completely wrong on two simple, off the menu orders.This experience was horrible and we walked out and are headed to Waffle House.On our way out the best the manager had to say was sorry, I will talk to her.
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at an IHOP! Our waitress name was Jaila and she has horrible customer service and does not have people skills. We waited an hour for our food and had to speak with a manager just to receive our food. When asked how much longer our food would be she caught an attitude with us and began rolling her neck and slapping her leg. When our food finally arrived she kept reaching over all of our plates without saying excuses me or apologizing for it. Overall this was a 0 out of 10 and I would not recommend anyone eat here.
Once again this location of IHOP is proven that is the worst in the Franchise chain waited over 45 minutes for a breakfast order then when it came to the table it was incorrect the ladies behind me waited over an hour and their food was brought to them two times and was wrong there is a definite problem with this location definitely not worth going to definitely recommend anywhere else on peach Orchard Road
We waited 20 minutes to be seated, which we thought was fine because they appeared busy. Manager sat us and didnt tell anyone, we sat for 25 minutes before we started an online order and 35 minutes before we got up and waited 10 minutes in the car for our food. If it had been busy we wouldve gone elsewhere, just lack of communication and attention by the manager up front.
Waitress was also hostess. Only one other customer yet she took 15 mins to even come over to take drink order. Then went back to talking to other customer who seemed to be her friends. Lousy service. Food was okay but took forever to bring us our meals. Credit card machine down so had to pay cash. Dirty tables but waitress ignored them. Pretty pathetic experience.
Ok, I get when a business is busy the wait is alil longer than usual - I get it. But what is the excuse when your order has just been completely skipped over. I ordered online sat in my car for 30 mins before going inside to wait another 45 mins. Asked 3 different staff member about my order and they said, Itll be ready shortly. I sat and watched people wait to be seated and watched the same people leave when they were done. Told the staff member I wanted a refund - still waiting for this confirmation email she said I should be getting. Ill never deal with this place again. The Washington Road location is a 1000 times better
We ordered pick up and it took 2 hours to get our food. There were families waiting over an hour just to be seated and the places was almost empty. It like everyone that was working had no idea what their job was. The Manager that worked Easter Sunday at 3:30 PM was the only solace we had. She personally made sure we got our food just a few minutes after she spoke to us. She honestly looked like she just got into work and was trying to fix the disaster she inherited. Thank you nice lady with the purple hair.
My wife and I arrived and waited 7 before we were spoken to by a staff member. The member told us, we will have to wait a few minutes, until someone could clean off a few tables. After a 15 minute wait,we were finally seated. We waited another 10 -15 minutes, until a waitress approached us. Introduced herself, then said, she is not our server. However, she noticed we had been waiting awhile, and wanted to help. By taking our drink orders. Another 10 minutes passed, and a different lady came to our table,to take our food order.We were approached by another female staff member who brought only my meal to our table. About 3- 5 minutes later. My wife finally received her meal.My wifes meal came out the kitchen correctly. Unfortunately, mine was not very appealing. The bun for my hamburger was very greasy. So, I had the manager bring me a new bun.
The 1st time we went it was good but came back tonight on 9/8/2020 and my food was cold I told hardly that my food was cold she ask do you want me to reheat it I told her no that I wanted it fresh, she then comes back with my plate, and the food was re heated it wasnt recook like I ask. You can taste the difference in fresh cook food and reheated food. I will NOT be back at this I hop.
We were seated to the table immediately. We waited 15 minutes for the waitress to come greet us and get our order before I decided to get a manager. The waitress took our order. After 45-50 minutes and we still dont have our food. we did not order anything complicated like chicken sandwiches or steak or anything like that it was a simple breakfast platter. When we got up my boyfriend asked the girl to pay for the drinks she said, dont worry about, your foods not even ready and the kitchen is tripping. Then we left after spending over an hour in IHOP and no food to eat.
If I could rate 0 stars I would. We were seated immediately and waited over 30 minutes with no waitress to get our drinks. Or even ask for them. A waitress named Margaret passed our table several times and looked in our direction, then proceeded to sit at a table to rest is my guess. We waited another 5 minutes with more waitresses passing our table clearly acknowledging us and still no one asked for drinks. We just walked out after 40 minutes no food no drinks.
The food was delicious even though it didnt all come out at the same time. Our server was polite. I liked that the seating was spaced out and I wore my mask when I was eating. The bathroom was clean and there were paper towels to dry your hands and open the door. Decent experience, would go back.
Customer service is awful, food is awful. Carpet has an odor. I understand why at 8:30am there was 15 people in the restaurant, and the servers were still unable to keep up. I noticed 4 people sending there plates back. You have officially lost my business!! If you even CARE!!
4 people in the store with 3 servers. Took 15 minute be seated. Called their phone WHILE in the store and no one came to answer it. A server was on their phone next to the entrance to the kitchen. Completely unequipped to handle an allergy and ended up having to get a side of fruit for my friend after the server said “there’s always a chance we won’t be able to stop cross contamination” It’s a damn restaurant you should be equipped to handle a damn allergy. That’s ridiculous.
My family and I came in to eat a nice brunch but, ended up having to leave due to extremely poor and unprofessional service. When we walked in we were not greeted by the hostess just immediately seated. Once seated, our waitress did not come to our table to greet us and take drink orders until 10-15 minutes after being seated. Once our drink order was fulfilled the waitress did not bring the drinks back for another 10-15 minutes. Once she brought the drinks back we told her we were ready to order and she responded by telling us that she’d be back in a second. Her second turned into 5 minutes. We waited a total of about 35 more minutes for our food. Our waitress refilled our drinks twice in this time without mentioning a word of the food. We witnessed two separate families who arrived after us sit down after us, with a different waitress, and get their food before us. Our waitress began to avoid us at this point. Finally she returned and asked us how we were doing, again without mentioning where our food was. My grandfather mentioned he was hungry; the waitress lied and said that the kitchen was behind when in fact she had forgotten to place our order. I asked her to get us an ETA on when the food would be ready. She said she’d go ask and come right back. She never returned. After another 10 minutes of waiting my family and I decided we were leaving and going to just pay for our orange juice. The hostess goes to get our waitress from the kitchen, who ironically enough has our food in her hand. She says “I have your food right here, do you want it?” and we explain that we are running late for a trip. Rather than giving us good service and redeeming the lackluster service she’d already provided, her response in a nasty, aggressive tone to my grandfather was “DO YOU WANT THE FOOD OR NOT” and she processed to walk away with an attitude without our response. We decided we were not going to even pay for our juice due to her unprofessional and disgusting waitressing service. Had the waitress been sympathetic to us and actually given us good service we would have eaten there. Instead we were given unprofessionalism. This was the absolute worst service I’ve ever received at iHop and quite frankly it will be the last time I eat there. I could understand if we had been nasty to her but, we kept polite and friendly the entire experience. In return we got the attitude of waitress who can’t handle her job.
Great! Its Xmas morning and the food is hot and the staff is prompt. The receipt does say New Ownership so if youve had a negative experience like weve had in the past, you may want to give it another try. I especially want to call out our waitress Debora and the other employee Otis. Both of them made the visit great. Of all mornings, it was Xmas morning at 0645. Its hard to be cheery, but they were professional, cordial and seemed like they actually wanted to be there and give us our moneys worth. Thank you to both of you.
Husband and I just wanted a decent dinner on new years Eve. Food was thrown together and greasy. They were closing early and rushed us out. Not very good. Gave me a chicken sandwich on toast. Waitress was great but other than that. The manager was dirty and somewhat rude.
Came here for a late lunch. Ordered the t bone steak dinner. Only about 6 tables full but service was super slow. Lost of people came in and was seated but left due to service not attending tables. I asked for my steak medium but came late to the table and was over cooked. It looks like they basically reheated the steak in water and resold it. Manger came to the table but didnt do anything but ask to re cook our meals. Since the whole meal looked like leftovers, didnt want anymore surprises so we just left. #badexperience
If I could give 0 stars I would took 10 minutes just to seat us then took another hour and a half just to get my food and it wasn’t even hot it was warm and my bacon wasn’t cooked all the way waitress was slow and rude then we ordered something else but instead of bringing it to us someone put it at the front desk DO BETTER!!!!!! Whoever owns this ihop needs to switch careers cause honey ur drowning. Will never come back and definitely don’t recommend unless you like waiting.
In town visiting and decided to drive to IHOP for breakfast and pancakes the kids were craving... only to find out after traveling 15 minutes one way that they dont accept cards...in the middle of a pandemic no less. IHOP really needs to get their act together if they expect customers to continue trying to support their part of the restaurant industry. SMH
From the moment we pulled up in the parking lot we were happy with service. We were greeted with waves an smiles(even though they were covered they were noticable). Z was our server an couldnt have been any better. Our 3 year old was grumpy from getting woken from her nap an Z was able to turn her whole mood around in minutes. She was very knowledgeable an and accommodating. She kept up with drinks an all our needs with no hesitation or complaint. We will go back just to see her! The food was pretty great too though
The server was new and disoriented. My pancakes were cold and taste like they were pre-cooked, already made and frozen in a box then warmed up on a grill or microwave. The pancakes didnt taste like they were fresher made from pancake batter. The main reason I went to the IHOP was to get some pancakes freshly made from pancake batter. If I wanted pre-cooked pancakes I can go to the grocery store and by Eggos or a generic brand already made and microwave them at home. IHOP, youve lost my service, my friend that was with me wanted to go to Waffle House. I wished that I had listened to him that morning. IHOP, you had a good reputation for your original pancakes, not anymore you lost that. I know youre understaffed because of COVID-19, but thats not a excuse for serving cold pre-made pancakes and lousy service.
Not bad but you can feel the low pay. I understand that with COVID going on, that time to get food ready but after the order it took 50 minutes for some pancakes. Then they were not hot. No major complaints though. But when I went to go pay, the cashier took the person in front of me she then walked off to take care of a table while I was standing there.
I dont suggest anybody to go there expecting to get waited on by a waitress that has experience. Our food took forever and all of my familys got to the table and they had eaten and my son-in-law still hadnt gotten his. I went to the manager only to find out it had never been ordered. No thank u! Wont ever go back and that waitress was so slow and so bad.
Poor service rude people. Waited two hours and still didnt get our food. Customer service poor people was leaving because they were taken to long. I understand that they were short staff. But that still dont make no sense.I will be calling IHOP office to file an complain.
They did not get anything right, the whole time we were there we did not get a refill, they tried to charge us for an appetizer plater that we never recieved, there was literally 2 other tables with people so it wasnt because they were busy. The waitress blamed it on her being new, she has been there the last few times we went(within the last 6 months).
Me, My Husband, 2 Daughters waited 15mins to be seated. After being seated we waited about 30mins to get our food. My husband order Monster Mega which was dry. My oldest daughter had a hamburger she said hers was okay..I order our goddaughter Jr Silver5 I orderme The Tilapia Dinner which was pure NASTY the rice was dry...Do better
I placed my order over the phone And i had a little complication with the order. Told me at first that i could not make an order over the phone to eat at the restaurant. However i spoke to management and they placed the order for me to be able to order and eat at the restaurant. Once i got to the restaurant i ate and was very happy with my service and my meal.
Such a disappointment. Ordered online, arrived and the two young ladies apparently cant hear. I said my name and 20 mins later and two trips to the kitchen .. my food was sitting up front the whole time. So not only was my food cold. My toast wasnt buttered. I ordered a Pepsi and got dr. Pepper. I wasnt provided with salt, pepper or utensils... Like .. cmon.
My pancakes was cold and small enough to feed a child, the grits and eggs was also cold. The waitress seemed to be rushing us to finish. She also ask us to pay for food before we finish eating. I was very disappointed. I usually visit them quite often and this time was the WORST of all. I will not be returning their anytime soon!!!!
Service is horrible and food is mediocre at best. Waited 20 minutes before we were ever acknowledged and then another 20 before we were served coffee. Drinks came with food, after I stopped a server and asked for our beverages. We still did not get them. Another server finally asked if we had been helped. Then I had to request the rest of my good as I was only given a portion of what I ordered. No syrup, no sugar or creamer. No salt or pepper. Syrup was brought out cold to pour over cold pancakes. Not happy at all.
We walked out after waiting 30 minutes to be served or greeted. Hostess brought drinks when we sat down. Then that was it.... Two different people up front were complaining that they had been waiting 50 minutes for to go orders. Others complaining that other people that were sat after them were served first. When were left the hostess that day us said HAVE A NICE DAY..I replied that it wouldve been if Id gotten service and wasnt still hungry. Terrible place. Ohh and the menu.. was a joke. Instead of being called international house of pancakes . It should be international house of burritos... what a joke. Thats all they had on the menu.. IOn one whole side. Then all you can eat pancakes and a couple sandwiches.
I placed an order online around 9:45am or so to be ready at 11:30. At 11:31, I parked in the curbside spot and called inside to confirm that I was there. The person answering the phone seemed a little agitated because she assumed I had a call in order and not curbside which are two different things. She pulled up my order and said it wasnt quite ready but they would bring it out when it was. I waited....27 minutes later, I called back inside to see what was going on with my order. The same person who had just talked to me said, Well if youre at curbside you have to call in here for us to know you ready for your order! I explained that I HAD called in 26 minutes before and still had no food. She said she would check on my order, put the phone down and never came back. Almost 10 minutes later, a young server brought our food out, passed it through my window and walked off. No apology. No acknowledgement that the order was significantly late, no nothing. Customer service is EVERYTHING! From now on, well just go across the street to Chick Fila and call it a day!
Horrible service. 30mins before server even acknowledged my table and had walked past us 4-5 times befor we even knew she was our server. Only 2 people in my party. Another hour after ordering before we recieved our food. Manager did nothing to help the server, who obviously didnt know how to handle tables. Her table only had 2-4 per group. Most were empty due to people walking out angry. Will not go back. Will just make the drive to Evans. I use to go to this one frequently but gets worse and worse every time.
Was the most aweful experience ever!!! We are never going back! Stopped with friends on our way out of town for a day trip. We figured something quick and easy and we can be on the road. Started off bad when the waitress greeted us with I hope your day is better then mine so far and proceeded to tell us why. Though we felt for her if she was not going to give great customer experience as her mind was elsewhere she should have called in and took off. We were promptly given our drinks. However after waiting nearly an hour we still did not have our food. Asked the lead what was going on and she checked with our waitress. Food order had not been put in so food wasnt even made yet even after being assured could get it right out. We paid for our coffee and got the hell out of there. Happened to table next to us too. After leaving was to late to get to someplace serving breakfast. So grabbed something quick so we can get on the road. Had to get lunch! We were not checked on after ordering. Do not waste your time!!! Maybe get staff some customer service training with chic-fila. Next time we will go to Waffle House!
Found a charge on my debit card for this restaurant while I hadnt eaten there , they said it was a error and that it was from a different visit that had been delayed , I told them I havent been there ever as I hate IHOP and there mediocre food . I got nowhere with these people so I reported it fraudulent and filled a police report . Dont eat here countless other people had the same thing happen to them. They werent willing to provide a refund fortunately theres laws against credit card theft . DO NOT EAT HERE THEY WILL ROB YOU
Order was cold, wrong, and my eggs were still partially raw. I had already waited a significant amount of time for how slow it was so I just accepted it. When I asked for the check the waitress said she was going to give me a discount because she knew it was not what I ordered, so she was aware and served it anyway without apology. If youre craving breakfast food theres a waffle house basically across the street. Youre better off going there.
Got in and seated quickly. No wait and not very crowded. Not really sure who our server was suppose to be, but Carmen stepped right up and took our order quickly. Great food and service. Next time we go hope to see her again. She has a great attitude and is willing to do just little more to make customers feel welcome.
We waited 45 minutes without any response or service besides our first cups of coffee (which took 15 minutes to get). We had to get up with our coffee cups to get a refill and they never came back again. We had to flag someone down to find out where our food was. She went and brought our ice cold food to us. This was now one hour into our experience. Of note, two other tables came in and left in this time frame. We went here for Veterans day as my husband is a veteran to be treated like this! They didnt even comp anything on our bill! We will never be back!
Terrible service. Food wasnt prepared correctly and To-Go order was not put in before the grill closed so one of our party was unable to eat! I will not go to any IHOP anymore! Ive had bad experiences each time Ive gone from Georgia to New Orleans, LA to Arizona. Not one of them can get thongs right.
I’ve been here about 5-6 times on the weekends for online pickup, and have had to wait no less than 45 minutes after my designated pickup time every time. This most recent time, I waited an hour for my food, and received my food just for an employee (who had been talking to other employees nearly the entire time I was standing there) to say “oh good, I was just about to check on that for you”. I called later to ask for a refund or general file a complaint about the trip. I asked to speak to the manager, and was told that I never received my food, so I couldn’t get a refund for leaving. Then the employee that was there verified that I got my food, and when I said that my complaint was that my order was wrong (my wife had gotten crime brûlée, but received normal pancakes with only syrup), she said that she couldn’t give me a refund if I received the food, and could only exchange it. I live 30 minutes away, I explained that I’d already spent an hour in the store, and an hour driving for the food, and I wasn’t about to spend another hour to fix their mistake. All in all, I’ve never had a good experience with this IHOP, which is unlike any other ones I’ve been to. Unsure if their always busy because they genuinely are, or if they are just too slow to keep up, even with messing up orders.
Horrible experience. We were seated at a table with cheese and bacon all over the floor and the table next to us remained dirty for 20 minutes on a slow day with staff standing around talking about personal matters. When they finally cleaned the table we got a whiff of sour milk. We witnessed the busboy hit our server on her behind on more than one occasion. Food came out cold. The butter wouldnt melt on my pancakes. Our server forgot to send out our hot drinks on time. One came out mid-meal, the other came out after my son finished his pancakes. Very unpleasant experience. I will NEVER eat here again.
My friend and I ordered curb side pick up at 1107. We were told that our food would be ready at 1121 and 1127.. we didn’t get our food until 1150. Then when we arrived to pick up our food, there was no designated curb side place as instructed via the website.. when we arrived we called, once again as instructed by the website, and the phone etiquette was horrendous!! They didn’t ask to place my friend on hold. Finally when someone did come to the phone, she was rude.. When we got home with our food, I looked inside my bag only to find that they did not put my hash browns in the bag that I paid for!! So I tried to call them and tell them that they forgot my hash browns but when I called, they picked up the phone and laid it down. As I was saying hello, I could hear people talking in the background but no one came to the phone. Terrible customer service. So, I didn’t get my money back and they messed up my order. I will never go back to this place again!!! They really should be ashamed of themselves. This is the IHOP on peach orchard road in Augusta Georgia!! BEWARE!!!
Up until now I felt pretty highly of IHOP. It was my wifes Birthday so I thought it would be a nice gesture to surprise her with a good breakfast. So as I get off from a night shift I stopped at a gas station to fill up and before I started fueling I called my order in. They asked for my name, number and finally my order. Giving them extra time to atleast have it started before I get their. I filled up then traveled there. I got their 10 minutes after ordering. When I arrived I seen an order waiting but it wasnt mine. I said I called in and told them who I was and what I ordered. I was told that my order would soon be ready so I sat down. Another costumer came in right after me and got seated. No problem. Five more groups of costumers came in and got seated and their orders taken. They kept telling me that my order was almost ready. Now the gentleman that came in after I arrived got his food and was halfway through eating and one other had gotten their food. So I left very disappointed because I didnt get what I came their for, I wasted my time and gas going out my way going their and and wife didnt have a Birthday breakfast which was the reason I went their in the first place. I told my wife I was planning on bringing breakfast home to her but it just didnt happen. She said it was the thought that counted so we made smoothies which were just as good. The kicker here is I got a phone call 1 hour later from an Augusta area code. I didnt answer because I didnt know who it was so I looked up the number and it was the IHOP on Peach Orchard road from which I placed my order in. They did have my no# so I could only guess if I still wanted my order. I have been back since. 17 Nov. 19 is the date it occurred.
I wouldn’t recommend going here to eat! They only have one cook hardly no one there to eat. We sat for 1hr for our food and still never received it asked the waiter how much longer would it be before we get our food, she said I really don’t know we only have one cook maybe another 20-30 minutes not sure though! We had three servings of beverage while we waited! The waiter also brought us water down drinks had to ask for fresh drink! I would give it a zero star but I had to put one to be able to tell my experience with this IHOP! We eventually walked out bc of not receiving our food!
I am a weekly customer of this restaurant. The service is never the greatest but the food is typically good. I Went in for lunch today and stood at the front desk for nearly 5 minutes waiting to be seated. Finally, an employee that was outside in his vehicle came in smelling strongly of marijuana and seated us. It was completely empty with the exception of two other tables. After 15 minutes of sitting at our table watching all the employees walking by and standing around talking about no longer being on the clock I had to stop someone and ASK for the drink order to be taken. I also asked to speak with a manager about the matter. After waiting another 5 minutes the manager got a moment to spare and came to the table. After explaining the situation, I was asked to be patient while the next round of employees show up for their shift. Clearly none of the employees nor the manager were worried about customer service and going above and beyond to take care of us or the others who came in after. I ended up leaving and going to the one in Evans and will now continue to do so. This store needs new employees or to just be closed down completely.
Service very third world ,took forever to be seated once seated. Waited almost twenty minutes and then had to flag some down to take my order. Table was dirty, toke another 15 minutes to get a glass of water after speaking with the boost guy. Very Un organized staff. They suck will not good there!
This is the worst IHOP I have every been to. I ordered car side pickup and they only gave me half of my order. The person I talked to seemed to have zero care about it. Horrible customer service. When they finally brought what I thought was the rest of my order 20 minutes later, it was still missing items and all of my food was cold.I would definitely recommend going else where to eat. This establishment is a waste of money and time.
I had a wonderful server. She addressed my problem to the owner and all was corrected. The only problem I had was the inconsistency to the proportion size of the food. I go one day and my plate looks proportioned the next time I go and my plate looks skimpy. This is with ordering the same thing. Just work on consistency. Every plate should always be measured out correctly.
Service and food was great as always but the manager was chastising the staff right in front of us. I know way to much about the drama and who was late, that the new girl wasnt working out and two guys had to shave that morning cuz they arrived with stubble. That should be discussed behind the scenes. And be respectful. Managers like that are why good employees leave. People quit managers not jobs... Waitress was awesome tho.
Very horrible customer service. Ordered the country fried steak with white gravy. Waited at least 45 minutes for the food to come out for the server to relay that they didnt have the right gravy for the meal. The hashbrowns were completely burned to a rock solid crisp.
This is an update to the last review I posted for this IHOP location. The food was fine, but the service was soooooo slow! It took forever to get our food, the server never came back to ask how the food was, or if we needed a refill. When she dropped off the check, she didnt return to cash me out for about 10 minutes. Terrible, I think Im done with this location. This is my second experience like this in a row.
We waited 50 minutes for 2 scrambled eggs while people were walking out because had to wait so long. I will not be back. Table was wet and had to get own silverware. Manager going around to tables for peeps that were complaining about wait. They didnt have hash browns or French fries. Terrible experience and it was for my birthday breakfast😓
To start the service was very slow. It took nearly 20 minutes for someone to take our order and 24 minutes for is to get our food. When the food arrived, the pancakes were cold and the bacon was burned. The manager was nice. However I wish there was another location in Augusta. This one has had issues from the beginning.
All I can say is WOW. The Ihop on Peach Orchard is awful. I cant comment on the food because we walked out before we got our food but the service was unbelievably terrible. And no it wasnt because of lack of staffing or being busy. We will never go back and I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Seems like a great place but service could use some work. Only been two time but each time there were issues. First time, the waitress got my order wrong and wasnt going to give us our daughters meal. Second time, our issue was our server not checking on us. We even asked someone to get her. She still didnt come til our food was ready. We were contemplating leaving.
I love the food but there is this one waitress who is trying her best but has no business being a waitress. She tried to give us more ketchup, we said there was already a bottle and she took the extra ketchup away, but also the mustard as well so we had no mustard. Several things like this.
This is one of my childrens favorite places. Its the same as almost every other IHOP in the country (thats a good thing). Family friendly and smiling waitstaff. Ive been here over a dozen times and I havent had a bad experience yet. Plenty of parking and they keep the place clean. Good food, good price.
I went on a date.we met at IHOP. U must wear a mask to walk to the table. I know, anyway the food was delicious. I had a ham and cheese omelette. The date not as good as the food....lol I have always been happy with the service and food at IHOP. Oh yeah the portions you get will fill u up .
My food took forever. We asked why it was taking over an hour to get our food. The manager got very hostile. After the food started to come out I raised my hand and asked if I could get our drinks and he yelled at us and said what more do you want i comped your $150 meal. Then he continued to yell and huff n puff. But then told us we weren’t welcomed back.Hair in our food and burnt food. Toast was hard as a rock. Worst manager ever.
Very slow. There were people there before me and that didnt have their food until I was finished for a while and had gotten up to pay . I asked for hot tea no lemon with cream. I got tea with lemon in it. It was about 8pm only a few tables. It wasnt like they wew busy. When my food came it was lukewarm. This is not the first time that I have had a bad experience. One time I waited 20 minutes for someone to take my drink order after which I got up and left and went to the Waffle House across the street. The only reason you are getting 1 star is that this site will not let me leave without it.
Worst customer service ever. I place a to go order online it said my food was to be ready at 11:23 an when I got there had yo wait 45mins an still no food..I asked for my money back and they called the police on me after the manager disrespected by calling me out my name and told me Im not welcomed in their business an I still havent gotten my money back
The same hopeless aura of quiet despair hangs over this place as it does almost every restaurant in Augusta. I sensed that the kitchen staff had to be roused from their social media stupor to be bothered with doing the job that pays their bills. All the condiments were served in little plastic cups, but the waitress was nice. She’s the reason for the 2nd star. She also seemed worried that we might leave...Our food took about half an hour to come out, but it tasted good enough. Overall I’d say that the CEO’s of IHOP are too rich to eat at their own restaurants, or else things like this wouldn’t happen. We originally wanted to go to Denny’s, but the only one in town is closed.I recommend going somewhere else for your breakfast food.
The service was fantastic. The wait staff perfection. But when we tried to pay the bill person at register had no clue what to do. Infact she asked what I was handing her told her i need to pay the bill. She left with Bill as i stood there for 10 minutes until someone finally cashed me out.
One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. My order took about 40 minutes to get to the table due to our server taking the order and never coming back. Another server finally came and asked us what was going on. I explained that I placed an order with another server and they disappeared. Once we finally received our food no one came back to check how we were or ask if we needed anything else. I will never give this place another dollar of my money. Id rather spend more money with another establishment than this one.
Our waitress was very pleasant. Some of the food came out cold. The pancakes looked pathetic, I was shocked they would even put them on a plate to be served. The Garlic Burger was okay, very overcooked. There was only 1 other couple there when we arrived so there was no backup in the kitchen for the breakfast items to be cold. Cant say we will go back
If I could rate it lower I would. First of all we waited over an hour to be seated. Slightly understandable because it was very busy today on Christmas. Second of all we waited over an hour for our food. Several people were seated after us, recieved there food and left the restaurant. Another lady beside us was seated after us and never recieved her food so they got up and left. Waitresses were giving the same thing we ordered to tables that were seated after us. This place was just a hot mess and I was so disgusted when we got out food I ate as fast asI could and took the rest to go, we were in there for almost three hours I just wanted to go.
It always smells and Ive only had maybe one good waitress. You have to wave them down to get them to come to see if you need a refill on drinks or anything else for that matter. Food is good my daughter asking me all the time to go to I hope, so every couple weeks we go.
My husband ordered curbside, no one came out with food, no one answered the phone. He went inside stood at front desk while employees sat in booth looking at him for more than 10 minutes. He walked into kitchen and was still ignored. I called and was immediately put on hold. I just hung up after 5 minutes of no one coming back to the phone. The restaurant was empty of guest just employees standing around doing nothing.

2022-04-20Visited this establishment on a day in which they were not busy, but perhaps understaffed. There was only one server. Our food was awesome, hot and prepared as ordered. The problem was that the server was lethargic, often stared off into space, and seemed unstable on her feet. We had to repeat the order several times and she often forgot about us. Once we received our food...we KEPT receiving our food. Apparently she had placed certain parts of our order into their system multiple times. A new set of pancakes would arrive to our table every 5 min. When the manager (who was awesome) asked her about it, she stated that we kept ordering the food! Blatantly lied. She then went and changed the tab to reflect HER mistake. I refused the tab and advised her to get her manager...she then decided to take the additional unordered items off. I also ordered food to go. Well....we never got the food. I was at home by the time I remembered! Since the entire crew had changed, no one was willing to help me...even though I had a receipt. Great food, horrible service. Kudos to the manager and the cooks!!

2022-05-31I was very disappointed with our visit to this location a week ago. My son chose this restaurant to celebrate his graduation from high school so he was also very disappointed when he had to wait over 2 hours to eat. They were short staff and they tried to be accommodating however it didnt help the situation. They kept bringing out the wrong order to my mother. She ordered turkey bacon and they kept bringing pork bacon. My mother doesnt eat pork. When they finally brought out the correct order she didnt want it. She decided to take it home.The GM apologized and gave my son a free meal for his next visit. I went to get the free meal and got disappointed again. His Buffalo Chicken Melt was half done. One side wasnt toasted and it was missing some condiments. Its sad that my son special day was ruined.

2022-06-28My first time being at this IHOP wasnt really the experience I was hoping for. Had about 3 flies flying around us that we killed, that wasnt much of a big deal though, but our waitress got our order wrong 3 times so it took really long for us to get our food. The waitress just seemed really anxious so I dont want to hold it against her, but maybe they can do a Lil better at communicating with each other. They did accommodate us with some free food and a free pancake pass for our next visit and I really appreciate that. I hope to come back soon to have a better experience so I can leave a more pleasant review. The food was okay

2022-02-09We waited 1.5 hours to be served. 1st the wrong meal was brought to my husband. My meal was missing the gravy. I was told it was being made and brought momentarily. It never came. My husbands order finally came 20 minutes later and then the waitress didnt bring the syrup. We were sitting there waiting only to be told she could put the gravy and syrup in to go containers. We got up and left. One of the worst experiences ever. If I could give a zero star I would for the waitresses attitude alone.

2022-03-19Food was fine. Typical IHOP food. Service was AWFUL!!! I sat for 20min before even being greeted by my server, at which point it was a shout across the section about what I wanted to drink, and no return from there for 10min. By the time silverware and condements needed for my meal arrived, my food was cold. Server had no issue ensuring the bill was brought swiftly to clear my table though.

2022-04-02Just left and had a great experience! This location has had problems in the past, but theres some great new staff and very involved management. Food was fresh and hot when it hit the table, and the staff was very attentive. Huge improvement!

2022-06-14I just want to start out by saying I understand that everyone is severely understaffed at the moment.That being said, we got sat very quickly during a big breakfast rush. But once we were sat, we waited 30 minutes to place our drink orders, 20 minutes to get them, and then waited an hour and a half before ever seeing our meal.The staff was very kind and apologetic but there was only 20-25 tables in there with 5 different servers.I think the management needs to have further training, while the staff was running around and stopping to be on their phone, the manager was also on their personal phone. It was just not a great experience.It was just very hectic, if you can’t accommodate a certain amount of people that’s fine, make a wait list and don’t sit people when you can’t handle the volume. I was a hostess for 3 years in a very busy restaurant. Quality over quantity.

2022-05-26Visited the Peach Orchard store on a Tuesday morning for breakfast. Was feeling some type of way after having a rough few days. My waiter had such a positive vibe/energy that I was taken away from my troubles for the moment. The young man said he was originally from Boston. My apologies for not recalling his name. Hes the reason alone for the 4 stars. The food could have been cooked a tad bit longer but his cheerful attitude made me not even care how the food was prepared.
