The food is okay. In my opinion: the appetizers are overpriced and the meal price is only justified by the generous portions. The food itself is nothing extraordinary (neither am I!). I ordered the fried duck first, which was very, very overcooked. I assume it was deep fried, which in my newly formed opinion is just never going to cut it with duck. They switched it out for ginger shrimp which smelled lovely.. but I proceeded to leave it in my car overnight. 🤦♀️ Ill be back to actually taste it next time. 😂
My family and I are VERY picky about eating out, but we’re regulars here. The service is so sweet and the food is so flavorful and amazing. The Tum kha khoong shrimp soup is so good and I always get it for my mom when she’s sick. It’s also very clean and not many people. For those who eat halal, they’re menu has it where there’s meat options at the top (including shrimp) and then the menu list, so you can either order shrimp or no meat at all in your menu item. Portion sizes are huge so one menu item I’d recommend getting for 2 (maybe three) ppl. Thai tea is also amazing. I also came here (again) with a giant group of friends and someone ended up paying for our entire food! This restaurant is a definite yes, and I never say that.
The basil fried rice was good the chicken larb ( one of our usual faves at most places) not spicy as requested and not enough lime the restaurant was pretty empty except for one couple dining in it seems like more of a take out spot especially for a Saturday night … the older lady at register wasn’t very friendly rather rude definitely lacking all around customer service skills but was kind of unpleased about her job or being there altogether maybe she was having a bad day… who knows definitely something the management should address either way…
We decided to give this place a try and we are so glad we did! Everything was amazing from service to presentation and fantastic tasting food!We had the family style wonton soup as seen in the picture. We also had Chicken Pad See Ew, Shrimp Pad Thai, and Ginger and Mushroom Chicken. Finished it off with fried bananas for dessert! We will definitely be back! Give it a try, even if you have never had Thai food! You will love it!
This place is great! Ive eaten a lot of Thai food in my time and it is some of the best. Steaming hot, great variety, friendly service. If youre like me and like it spicy - theyve got you. If you are like my kiddos and like mild - no problem. I am SOOOO glad theyve opened near me!
The food is awesome, I grew up in Dallas GA, and in the years I have been here, there has only been a few Thai restaurants. Normally to get quality Thai food I would have to go towards Cobb or Atlanta, but I gave this place a try after eating at Thai Mango in hiram for a couple years, and I can honestly say I think the food here is better. Its fresh, and the portions are much larger than the other spot. When more people realize this place is in town (used to be a Chinese restaurant) i think people will agree with my review.Everything Ive had here is delicious!
Love finding a piece of heaven out in the middle of nowhere… Hiram is growing internationally by having different flavors of food! This thai restaurant exceeds all tastes! The staff was funny kind and on top of things food was delivered in a quick manner! Our Thai iced tea’s and our Thai coffee were the biggest servings I’ve ever seen it will be something that I always remember! We have not seen mango curry anywhere and this was heavenly! The fresh rolls were very yummy the Thai spring rolls were delicious the pad Kee Mao was spicy and sweet! There Tom Kha soup was phenomenal! Go and enjoy and savor the moments and flavors.
Absolutely delicious food. Fresh, quality ingredients and reasonable prices. Wonderful, friendly customer service too. For takeout, they do offer curbside pickup and do wear a mask when they come to your car. We have tried four different dishes so far since they reopened under new management with Thai food, and all have been winners. You can choose a spice level (no heat on up) so if you’re not into spicy, no worries. Love, love the fragrant and beautifully prepared rice offered with many dishes. Highly recommend!
Absolutely INCREDIBLE!! From the service to the food. Everything was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Ive wanted to try this place for a while and finally got to go. I will definitely be back! I had the vegetable potstickers. The ginger mushroom chicken and vegetable soup as well the ginger salad. My wife had the chicken wings and they were amazing too! The presentation was incredible as well. The way they cut the veggies are super cute too. Dont second guess. Just go!
Best Thai Food in GA. 100% for sure, and the best Thai I have ever had. I have had Thai all over the country and Anyone giving this place less than 5 stars does not know Thai food. Sauce, spice, variety on Menu, service, everything is spot on and perfect. Really lucky to have this place so close.
We love this place. The appetizers are delicious (rangoons are better than ok and spring rolls are great). I like the curries, esp. Panang, and the service is quick and efficient. Everything is also presented beautifully with garnishes and sauces. Mmm. I wish I was eating there now.
The food is great! The vegetables are cooked perfectly. I love the vegetable chow mein, the pad thai is good, and the spring rolls are some of the best Ive had. The tom kha pak soup is filled with goodness. One of my favorite places to pickup orders because they are prepared quickly.
I just wanted to say there food is probably one of the best Thai food places I have eaten here in this area. I love there yellow curry and whats cool they let you choose your spice level from mild to extreme hot. There very authentic with there food and culture. I also love there friendless and funniest they bring every time I go in thanks so much for the awesome food definitely coming back..
Really a hidden gem. Hope more folks find out about this place! Very large portions, kind and helpful staff (worked with us to make everything vegan), delicious food and very quick from order to food on the table. The pad thai and green curry are our favorites! YUM! If you love Thai, its definitely the best in the area.
I was hesitant to try this place because it is in a rather vacant shopping center and the previous restaurant had not been exceptional for quite some time. I was pleasantly surprised however, with how delicious the food was! My family enjoyed soup, appetizers, and mail entrees, and every dish was lovely. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys Thai food
I love this restaurant. Food has been fresh every time I’ve come so far. I’ve never sat here and ate. Always gotten it to go. I’ve eaten Thai food from other restaurants but this one has been the best by far to me. I try to order something different every time and have not been let down. If you like Thai, give this place a try. (Hmmm, that rhymed. Should be their slogan 🤔😆)
Husband and I tried the shrimp Tom yum soup for the first time. It was delicious. We also got shrimp pad Thai, and it was up there with some of the best we’ve had. The portions are also huge, and they don’t skimp on the meat. Definitely going to be a spot we’ll start regularly visiting.
This is a great Thai restaurant. Their Pad Thai & Rad Na is made with the freshest ingredients and noodles cooked to perfection. This combination is delicious and is worth the drive to Hiram. I love the flavors of the many foods they have on their menu. The customer service is great too! They have Thai tea and Thai coffee as well. They have a wide variety of appetizers and traditional foods and salads. I definitely recommend this Thai restaurant. It is awesome and delicious.
The food flavors were like a party in my mouth, very very tasty. Compliments to the chef. The presentation was a work of art, the portions were generous, should have some take home. The best Thai food I’ve had in a very long time. The staff is very friendly. Will definitely return.
Amazing food!! Can’t believe this place exists in Hiram. Some of the best Thai food we’ve had. We ordered calamari, curry, pad see ew. All huge portions and everything was so fresh. Even the veggies were delicious. Woman at front counter was very friendly. Going to be ordering from here regularly 😊
The food was fantastic! Everything was fresh as could be! The flavors were great! When we arrived we were the only done in guests, but the to-go stream was steady. I was slightly disappointed that there is not a full bar, just a couple of beers and wines. But they did have fountain Coke products so I just had a coke. My husband had the regular sweet tea and said it was good, almost like his home-made. We had the Spicy Wontons for an appetizer and they werent very spicy, but they were grey hot and good. The sauce was little sweet for me, but probably would have been a better balance had the wonton stuffing been spicy. My husband had the chefs special Supreme Duck. He said it was delicious! It was served very crispy with a honey sauce over it. He said the meat was very moist and falling off the bone. I had the Cashew Nut and Roasted Chili Chicken. It was full of vegetables and I asked for a spice level 3 on a scale of one to five. The spice was great, but their idea of a 3 would be too hot for some. The vegetables were clearly fresh, and sauteed perfectly - not mushy and not hard - still crisp and retained their color, shape and flavor. The portions of the appetizer as well as the meals was more than ample. My initial thoughts on pricing were that they might be a little high - but in this instance, the quality was WELL worth the price. Great job folks - Im a little hard to please, so my husband was thrilled that I found nothing to complain about. Had there been a full bar, I would have given them 5 stars! I would definitely recommend Imperial Palace! We took home a take out menu and Ill definitely be calling in dinner and asking my husband to pick up on his way home!
This place is awesome under new management.Best fried rice I ever had. Seafood is really good too. High recommend on Gulf of Siam mixed seafood with homemade sauce. Its a little spicy but its so good. Lunch special is reasonable price come with spring roll and soup or salad.
I love this place. The staff is so kind, sweet, friendly, & professional. The restaurant is very clean! They preform social distancing when dining in. The food tastes amazing. Thai food is my favorite form of Asian food. I have been to several Thai restaurants ( some down ATL & some in metro ATL) but this is be far the BEST. The prices are fair. The food is beyond delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Blows Thai Mango out of the water. Imagine...Fresh Mushrooms in the tom yum soup, how dare they. I was told by Thai mango that mushrooms go bad to quickly to use them in their soup. I despise canned mushrooms in any meal. While on the subject of tom yum, you can eat Imperial Palaces Tom Yum soup. Thai Mango was so sour it wasnt edible most of the time. Guess what else. I ordered Lad Na and guess what I got?!?! FRESH CHINESE BROCOLLI, not like Thai Mangos American stuff. And last, weve eaten here about 6 times. Portions are always the same, food is always the same. Consistent and great. Not like Thai Mango where they change what goes into a dish or how a dish is servered every time you go in.
Went there today with the fam for the first time and we enjoyed ourselves. The food was on point. I got the pad thai, sweet sticky rice, and hubby got the vegetable stir fry and thai tea. Cute little spot, but clean and the server was really nice. We will be back for sure :)
I am originally from Thailand. Even though I enjoy cooking at home, my husband and I frequent this restaurant because their food is outstanding and it is offered in a typical traditional Thai service way. We tried almost all the items on the menu, and every dish is yummy.
My husband and I went here last night for dinner. Before I left the restaurant I texted my son and told him he had to try this place. Called my sister and said the same. EXCELLENT. We had the spring rolls, very good, the Tom Kha Gai chicken soup #3 spice level...out of this world. I was so happy with everything so far my taste buds were dancing. Then I ordered the Rama Chicken Dish #3 spice level it came with white rice. Once again EXCELLENT, my husband ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice beautifully presented with part of a pineapple, great taste. Highly recommend. #3 spice made me sweat below my eyes so be careful Thai food can be hot. We will be back. Portion size? We both have a large lunch with the left overs. So good.
I absolutely love this place the food is fantastic the orange and lemon chicken are soooooo good.. My dad even loves it and he is a harsh critic .... Also the owner comes out and greets you with a warm and friendly smile... The overall atmosphere of this place is very warm
If youre reading this after July 2020 ignore all the 1 star reviews. This location used to be a Chinese takeout place under the same name. The Thai restaurant bought the building and kept the name but the food and quality are light years apart. Probably the best Thai youre going to find in the Paulding/Hiram/Dallas area.
This place changed over to Thai food and it’s delicious!!!! We used to struggle to get Thai food because the only other place close was Thai Mango and they have HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The food is great but they never answer the phones and are very unreliable. But this place is wonderful!!!!!!!! They are very sweet and once again the food is on point!!!!!!! Try this place and you’lllove it!
Top service from very friendly peopleFood is awesome. Best Thai place anywhere around here. Please note that this Thai restaurant was taken over from the previous Chinese place and the poor reviews here are from the previous Chinese placeMy new favorite place in Paulding. Give it a try.
This place should be shut down! Not sure HOW this place has any good reviews their good is so Horrible! We spent $50 on inedible nasty food from this place. The shrimp fried rice was super greasy and had very small shrimp (like the salad shrimp you can buy in the bag at Kroger for a dollar!), general tso chicken didn’t appear to be chicken and tasted like garbage. Don’t waste your money and time here you’ve been warned.
If I could give this place no star I would. I ordered General tos chicken. My order looked like chicken nuggets with an orange sauce. Fried rice is white rice with soy sauce (there aren’t any veggies or eggs) .50 upcharge for soy sauce. I can’t tell you what it tasted like because I did not eat. I will NOT eat here again and I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
We don’t eat Chinese food all the time, but whe we do we love goin to Imperial palace! The owner is an honest hardworking man that really works at getting our order right every time! The spring rolls are always delicious and the orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken are some of the best in town! Our food is always prepared quickly and stays warm! We will continue to be loyal customers!
Cant understand how this is a 4 star place. I couldnt even take 4 bites of my dinner, it was so bad. I think it was possibly the actual worst meal Ive ever had in my life. The other 2 entrees we ordered were also terrible. The orange chicken is unlike any other place this side of hell. The chicken was fine but it was in what seemed like a rotten orange custard. It was pungent and goopy and all of us wish we had done something different for what was actually a special occasion meal. 😞 such a sad meal
I love Oriental food, so I thought I would give this place a try... First and last time here. For lunch I had kung pao chicken and wanton soup. Soup was very salty and otherwise tasteless. Kung pao chichen was VERY salty and 80% veggies. I was the only person there at noon!On a positive note the waiter was friendly and their health department score is a 99 A.
Today, I decided to place a to-go order from Imperial Palace for lunch. I had never eaten here before, so I thought it would be smart to order something safe. I ordered the orange chicken lunch special for a little over $6. The price worried me immediately because of how cheap it was, AND the fact that the restaurant was entirely empty. No one was there except for me and one white guy that rang my order up. The chicken was awful. The sauce was the most sugary, thick, sweet orange sauce Ive ever eaten, not spicy and tangy like its supposed to be, and the breading was mushy. Also, it came with fried rice, but all it tasted like was steamed rice thrown into a hot skillet for a few minutes with a bit of soy sauce. There were no vegetables in it at all, not even any onion for flavoring or anything. Not to mention, it was very dry. It also came with a very small order of wonton soup and even it was bad. Flavorless dirty dish water with crunchy noodles and ONE very old soggy wonton. No scallions in the soup and it was very bland. Even the fortune cookie was stale. Absolutely terrible. I will NEVER be back!!
Dont know where some of these people have eaten if this is the best Chineese food around. Wonton soup, one noodle and salty. The fried rice wasnt that good. Had the Mongolian beef, beef wasnt tender as other places. I dont like a check that doesnt show the break down on what was ordered. Showed two item and the total bill. Wont be eating there in the future. Prices were bad.
Best Chinese in the tri county area! My family and I are long established customers. They started in Dallas with House of China, then followed them here when they sold House of China. James, the waiter/icon of the business, is the best of the best! You will not be disappointed when you eat here :)
Just left Imperial Palace the worst service ever. Ordered two seafood soups, the first one came with only 1 shrimp and the other with no seafood. When asked if I could pay for my egg roll I was told no, because it was under $5, even though they would throw the egg roll away, after making me wait 15min. They have been in business for over 10 years, I dont know how.
I went here for lunch and waited at the door for a minute or two before was told to seat myself. I sat there unattended for 15 minutes. The only employee that I actually saw was the elderly man tending the to go orders at the desk upfront. After that 15 minutes I waved to him indicating that I wanted to be served. He held up one finger told me to wait. While I thought about waving another finger back at him I kindly stood up and left. If you actually want to eat Chinese food I suggest you go somewhere else
This is my absolute favorite place for Chinese and Thai cuisine! The staff is polite and the owners come greet you, OH BUT THE FOOD!!!! They have more of a 3.9 - 4.3 star food prep and quality ingredients with fresh vegetable, the cuts of meat are real cuts like white meat chicken in many chicken dishes, and real tender beef, prawn size shrimp etc, veggies and meats are always fresh. Everything taste impeccable! If they were closer to downtown Atlanta, theyd be packed with patrons non stop every day just from the reasonable prices and food quality. My family and I have take out dinner at Imperial at least 3-4 times each month and we stop in for lunch even more. One more thing, the menu is extensive with gourmet tasting dishes, (Im not sure what that fast food stuff at Panda or those buffet places with guess what it is is but it aint gourmet), Chinese food lovers/ connoisseurs will enjoy it!
Weve been visiting Imperial Palace since it opened several years ago. The staff & owners are friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is very nice. And the food is the highest quality in metro Atlanta (and we have tried more expensive name places). The food is always very fresh and tasty. We have tried many dishes on the extensive and varied menu, and have NEVER once been disappointed. We even have friends from Acworth and other nearby towns drive out of their way for Imperial Palace. Its worth the drive!
A small mom and pop chinese restaurant that I really love. This is my favorite chinese haunts in the Hiram area. They dont use pre made mixes for their soups, and add a small amount of cabbage to them which really adds to the flavor. Sauces on their dishes are pleasant and Ive never had dry rice served to me, indicating fresh, properly stored, made to order food.Unlike most places in town, you can pick what kind of meat you want in your egg rolls, and its also is the only chinese place Ive ever been to where you get a choice whether you get white or dark meat on chicken dishes. My only real gripes are they dont add vegetables to their default fried rice or as sides to fried dishes and their lunch menu is a bit stingy with their seafood to the point I kinda wish it wasnt offered on the menu to avoid buyers remorse. But other than that, Ive never eaten anything I didnt like here, and do suggest folks in the area that like chinese to give this place a try.
The staff seemed cool but I felt like I have been over sold on the product, it seems like the general theme of the whole area is Americanized food but seems to lacking a lot of quality I have come accustom to, the spring rolls tasted exactly like store bought spring rolls, I was expecting it to not be mush, the curry seemed to miss ingredients to bring the meal to a head and no heat at all. The brown sauce on my other meal was good and the tofu was cooked all the way through but aside from that I just felt like I was oversold on mediocre food.
I LOVE GOOD CHINESE, This experience was terrible, Went by on a Friday night... should have been busy. We were the only table at 6:55. BAD SIGNAL!!!! Ordered combo mongolian beef dinner , Thai Massama, Tom Kai Soup, and Won Ton soup. Won Ton soup was REALLY YUCK!...the won tons had been soaking for so long they were turning to paste., it tasted days old and the crunchy noodles for the soup were stale. Tom Kai soup was the worst Tom Kai soup We have ever had, The Mongolian Beef was very good. The Massama was terrible at first bite. We asked for it to be exchanged for the mongolian beef,,,, we were shocked when they wouldnt do that. They were going to charge us for another meal, As a former restaurant manager that single reason is a reason people should avoid this restaurant. When we voiced our concern, the manager never even came by..

2021-10-22Food was excellent! This place was a surprise to us because from the outside looks dead. Authentic thai food, and a lot! Recommend 100% if youre in the Hiram area.

2022-06-01We had the basil fried rice and the pad kee both with chicken. This was probably the best flavored Thai food I have ever had and I have been to all the Thai places in the area and Kennesaw. They do take their spice seriously with their protein especially. Keep that in mind when you pick your spicy level. We also got the Thai iced tea and it was in a 32 oz cup which is way more than you get anywhere else. I definitely recommend this place.

2022-01-23My family and I stopped by here several times but never went in because we werent really sure about Thai food. Today my wife and I decided to take a chance on it and we are sooo glad we did.The food was excellent!! I think we have found our new favorite Asian restaurant.
