Ingles Market in other cities:
This store is very cold inside no matter what the season is and I asked if help to be my purchases in my vehicle but didnt help in any way.So many of the shelves are empty and very limited in the Over the Counter Top items are not available for a purchase.Pharmacist is a great resource for ones needs but stay busy most of the time.Price are a bit higher than the average place if you check around the other places that are in the Gorgery business.I returned a clock that did not work and found it back on the same place instead of having it placed in the area for the return to the vendor
If it weren’t for Covid I would love the store they have the best selection of ice cream for my husband that I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately this review is really for the disgusting people who live here shame on all of you. How selfish and psychotic are they. You have to really be afraid for your life to shop here because nobody wears a mask. What the hell is wrong with people if you really don’t believe in it can you care enough about people and whether they live or die well you don’t do you.Shame shame shame
Always check dry goods expiration or best buy date in this store. Three times now I have come home with expired goods. One was expired for more than 6 months when I purchased it. I never have to do this at any other grocery store. Prices are also too high and thats terrible since this is the only chain store accessible for some people who live in the area. On the upside they have a decent beverage selection and front end customer service has always been pleasant.
Clean store . Good variety and food. I normally can find something new to try each time I go. Or a variety of a product I cant easily find somewhere else. Good produce section and the meat is , well the only place I will buy my meats from. I would like to see a coupon app for Ingles , where you can load thr stores coupons and just scan it it on your card . Also, Use your Ingles card earn your Gas points 👍👍👍
This is a nice Ingles store. For the most part, the store is clean and well laid out. The produce and meat departments are well stocked. I like coming here for a few items that no other grocery stores around here carry. Ingles can sometimes be expensive, but they are always running specials and sales. The only thing that keeps me from giving this store 5 stars is that their restrooms are not always kept clean and stocked.
I have been in a lot of grocery stores in my long life. This is by far the most impressive grocery store that I have ever seen. Its the only place I know of that you can grind your own peanut butter. The salad bar is bigger than any restaurant I can remember. I wish it was close to my home.
I generally like Ingles, but finding items for sale past their sell-by date is a routine occurrence. Its most common with dairy items that have long shelf-lives, like sour cream and cheese, but most recently it was shelf-stable pudding snack cups. My son pointed out that they expired 6 weeks ago after he had finished eating one. It adds another layer of complexity to grocery shopping. I have considered doing my grocery shopping in Griffin, where a larger population should ensure faster product turnover.
Ingles is probably the top place to shop in Barnesville. There is one of the widest selections of produce and boxed goods, also Beer and Wine. Ingles has a thriving Deli and vast array of in-house baked goods. You will not find a more specialized stock at any other Grocery Store for Lamar County. You walk in and the Store is clean from top to bottom. If there is a mess, You rest assured the staff will be on it. You get a exceptional shopping experience while youre there. Free Samples can be found throughout the week and the people working in that department are pretty responsive. As for price, they tend to be on the upper side. Produce prices are a tad too high. Meats are priced at $10-$25 for good cuts; You can find cheaper less desirable cuts from $3.75-$7.55. Prices for pantry items is fair with exception to ethnic/specialty items. Dairy items are not fairly priced at all but you can score a deal when the dates run out. Ingles store brand will save you the most money when shopping there. Beer and wine is the best selection and prices hands down. You can find Craft beer for $9.77-12.24. the cheapest Beer you can get is $4.22. To summarize, Ingles is the Best place in Barnesville to shop if you want quality grocery items and a great shopping experience most of the time. Prices tend to be slightly elevated. 65% of the Cashiers are authentic people with real personality. Store Manger never speaks to you. just wattles around like a constipated penguin.
Dont eat from the deli, had shards of glass in my food from the deli hot food bar. It is not self serve, it was served to me. Management was clueless about how to deal with it. I was told that if I was concerned that I had eaten a piece of it to go to the hospital, get checked out and IF I had eaten some they would see about the medical bills, if I hadnt eaten any I would be responsible for the bill. LUCKY I DIDNT DIE!The deli people knew a bulb had blown and busted earlier and didnt pull the food in the case, continued to serve it.
This morning around 645am i was at the barnsville,ga ingles. I went to the deli in hopes of getting the wonderful chicken and steak biscuits. I arrived at the food bar with one customer ahead of me. He and i stood there for at least 5 to 10minutes. Three of you employees were in the deli prepping. They continued to keep looking up at us but neither one said a word or approached us. He and i spoke, he said he had been there a while before I arrived. A deli employee came from the bathroom washed her hands, never spoke walked out the front doir ans lit up a cigarette. I then watched an employee wash her gloved hands and go back to making dressing. At this point i gave up and left within any food. I do not believe i will be going back.
I got there 20 mins. Before 10pm from Culloden, surprised to have made it before closing. Was trying to hurry and everyone kept telling me to take all the time I needed and get everything I needed and if I couldnt find something, theyd be glad to help me! Very pleasant staff in every dept. Have a good experience every time I shop here.
Had rolled coins and went up to the customer service desk and asked if they would exchange them for cash. The lady up there wouldnt do it, we even asked her if we bought something would that work. So.. we got a small bag of chips went to the register asked the cashier if she would atleast let us buy the chips with them and she said no after the customer service desk called the cashier and told them we were not able to even buy them with cash I hand! It was ridiculous! Horrible customer service and I do not recommend shopping here for anyone!
Pretty much the only real grocery store in town unless you count Giant Mart, a bit pricey, but the Ingles Advantage card will help alleviate that provided you have one (which if you are planning to shop here regularly I highly recommend). Be on the look out for manager specials where near expired foods get marked down to ridiculously low prices in order to be sold before that expiration/best buy date. Some decent vegetarian/vegan options are tucked away in the produce section (like my personal favorite meatless veggie dogs). Be very aware of your receipts here, often times you will pick up an item that says something like buy one, get one free below it. However, once it has been rung up you end up paying far more than you should be because of stipulations made by the store such as it must be this size, or only this brand which is on the small print back where you picked up the item. Shoppers who come in getting a hefty load of groceries are going to fall victim to this unless they pay careful attention during checkout or make sure to review their receipts before leaving the parking lot. Often times even if it is a mistake on their part they refuse to honor the pricing displayed near the product falling back on those stipulations.
This place is very friendly and helpful and the one bad thing is that some of the people in the deli, just stands around and you have to get their attention to get help. But every other department is very helpful and will see you looking at something and they will ask if you need help.
Others have said to me that I can get my groceries at a much lower price. Okay, maybe I can save a few cents on each item somewhere else, but if you buy groceries and gas as much as I do and at the same time, why not go here?? I get 30 cents or a dollar off the gallon just about every week or two I come here and fill up my car. So in reality, yes, Im saving a lot more money than going somewhere else and going to a gas station down the road. If you dont already get gas at Ingles but you buy your groceries here, I recommend you start. Love the savings.
Rrrrrrrr I wish there was more places near by Barnesville!!!! Phil is so stuck Up!!!! The best part about this Ingles is the Pharmacy and thats a Hit and Miss depending on whos working. U want the best service and the most out of your visit Ask For TJ at the Pharmacy!!!! By far the BEST Employee They Have!!!!
Ingles tends to be the grocery store of small towns and rural areas. Thus they often carry things that food stores usually dont. I dont want to have to drive 40 minutes to get chicken feed or a hardware gadget. Ingles usually has what we need. Some day we might have a Kroger or Publix but for now the only store is Ingels.

2021-11-11I have been getting lunch from ingles for many many years and NEVER been told that I couldnt get workout salad on my plate. I worked in the deli for a few years at ingles and know that the only time they have workout salad on the cold bar is when the vegetables arent selling fast enough and are going bad. So since I couldnt get the bad vegetable salad I now have to choose from something else that had been on the hot bar so long that its now extremely dried out and crunchy. Really mad at this point because to start with I ordered a 2 piece, leg and thigh and had to tell her thigh, not wing because she picked out a leg and wing. When I get to the register I then realized that she put the barcode on top of the plate. I swear common sense, listening skills or even any kind of intelligence has been flushed down the toilet.I will NOT return to this ingles again!!!!

2022-06-21Got breakfast this morning and the lady was blowing/wiping her nose in the same plastic gloves that she fixed my breakfast in. Needless to say the breakfast went into the garbage.

2022-01-12What’s wrong with the United Banks in Ingles Barnesville, Kim the United Banks Manger what’s the problem with a black person having a pick in there hair while they are leaving work. Not touching any customers drinks or bagging any groceries just simply walking out of work after they work they shift. With all this shortage going on and lazy people working a job you complain about something in someone head. VERY SHAMEFUL. Please don’t be stupid in 2022!!!

2021-07-09I really love Ingles. A clean high quality grocery store. The selection is grand and the quality of the items as well. I love picking fresh fruits and vegetables from here. Somethings are a bit pricey but, its not a deal breaker.

2022-04-24You people kill me with your 1 star reviews. You say you have going to Ingles for years with no problem. Don’t leave any good reviews. Then you have 1 bad experience and decide now is the time to focus only on the negative and leave a 1 star review. People just want to find that one time to complain. To only focus on the 1% of times it was negative and not the 99% of the time it was positive. SMHGreat store I shop there weekly. They have some great employees and managers there.

2021-09-01Clean, great store and staff. Like everywhere else they are still impacted by Covid and are having trouble getting certain items which is totally understandable. Love the health and beauty area.
