Ingles Market in other cities:
I bought a Boston butt from this so called store and this product was 90% bone. They screwed Me on the price because what made it weight so much was the bone. Second, only two freeze bags of meat. What a joke of a store. I thought the government was bad about stealing.
Wife saw employee cleaning the donut case and spraying Windex all on the inside and getting Windex all over the food. She called them out on it and they just said, get one I didnt spray. She spoke with a bakery manager and they didnt even seemed phased by it.Arent you supposed to be Safe Serve certified? And today their urinal looks like it hasnt been scrubbed in ages.
Love Ingles stores. Huge variety of foods. Great deli section and hot food as well. Very helpful and friendly employees and an added bonus are the gas points that accumulate and can be used at Ingles owned gas stations. I have saved 25 to 35 cents per gallon. That is a great deal!
The staff is always polite and helpful when I go into this location. There never is really any long lines and they have great discounts on different items each week. This is the closest grocers to my mothers house and it is always nice and clean. I havent had a bad experience at this store to date and I hope it stays that way. Certain sale items csn dissappear quickly but most items are normally well stocked.
I’ve shopped at this location for the past 19 years and it’s always been very pleasant. This evening tho (6:15pm) it was not. I felt like I was at Walmart and that is definitely no compliment. One open register with a human. And the line continued to grow. No new lanes opened for a good five + minutes. The one lane that was open, the cashier was slow. Finally another register with a cashier opened. I went to this register. The cashier and bagger just chatted and chatted, and this cashier was slow as well. I got a sub sandwich combo...neither the cashier or bagger knew that a combo included the chips and the drink. I spoke with the manager on duty to express my surprise at this entire experience. Her reply to my statement of there only being one register with an actual cashier for a good while was “We are short staffed” - and as I pointed out to her “you are NOT short staffed when there are FIVE employees standing directly in front of the service counter chatting, watching the one checkout line grow.” The experience was unacceptable for Ingle’s.
While the wide variety of products and wide isle are nice; their rude management and staff make it less than desirable to shop. If you can fully service yourself its a fine grocery experience, however, if you require assistance you are met with uncaring and unconcerned staff & management.
Okay, so the store is very nice, its a very cool environment, the employees were friendly and helpful. HOWEVER!! If you go to ingles for the awesome plants! The ENTIRE PLANT SECTION had thrips. If you have plants, they will infest everything. Please quarantine your plants if youve bought them from Ingles.
I’ve been shopping here for years but yesterday’s experience will stand out in my mind for quite a while. Every single employee had a smile on & greeted my boyfriend and I as we shopped. There were two female cashiers who checked us out and complimented my hat and were so sweet. The great customer service really stood out to us. We’re thankful for this staff’s positivity through these tough times& will continue to choose ingles in the future!
Overall fair. Dont understand the bakery having donuts and cupcakes that arent packaged. People open the door pick one up, look at it smells it, puts it back. Licks fingers (got some icing on them) picks up another. This continues until they have the one they want. Then they walk around the store eating it. How is this safe or sanitary. But you tell me I have to wear a mask. Looks to me management needs to go to management school.
IT IS AWESOME!!My first time to a Ingles and I loved it. Im from Trenton FL (near Gainesville) and work in Villa Rica.Down there, its Publix. After shopping at this Ingles, if they were in FL near me, Publix might have some competition.Definitely be shopping here again.Well done.
I love Ingles. They have the best selection in personal hygiene items! Ingles may be a bit pricey on some products but the quality, employees and shopping experience is always a joy. Plus, one of my favorite Ingles employer (Matthew) is actually a high school friend of mines and his representation for Ingles is the best customer service of all grocery chains Ive visited here in Carrollton, GA.
The little girl at the register name Jennifer with the long black hair was just a pure little _ ....!She didn’t know anything about customer service But thought she new everything. She thought her ... didn’t stink.she needs an attitude adjustment for sure.Ingles you need to hire better customer serviceStop hiring little girls who think they are irreplaceable.. Pay attention to how your employees treat customers. She better be glad I’m a grown adult and laugh at the eyes rolling !!I will not return to this store ever again.
I worked at this place for 2 years as a high school student. If you are young and need a place to work, work at Ingles. The management is tough but fair because they want you to do a good job. Outside of working here, as a customer, youll be treated with the utmost respect. Fair prices and the best meat in town, with a killer deli. Low prices, love the savings!
Excellent sale was going on during Memorial Day. I purchased lots of family packs of ground chuck, center cut boneless pork chops. The gentleman in the meat department even made my meat into burger patties for my convenience. Produce was in top shape and I purchased all types of fresh fruit. Greg was most helpful in that department. I had two buggies and the bagboy was so kind in helping me load my car. I loaded up on fuel points.
When I went to Ingles they had the most helpful employees. Very knowledgeable about their store. Also, that Jamie Warren fellow is just a splendid person to be around. I cannot say enough good things about this store. It is the only grocery store I am willing to shop at in my home town of Carrollton . Dont forget it is a super clean store and very organized
You can usually find a gois variety of items here. They have most ethnic foods as well as different dietary needs (organic, gluten free, sugar free, fat free). Gluten free items are normally marked with a special shelf tag. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. There are usually plenty of cashiers. The prices arent the cheapest, but not the most expensive. Worth it for the service. Clean store, well presented in all departments (produce, meats, etc).
Since my last review of this establishment, about a year ago or so. The environment has gotten better. I have not seen the employees there that had racist attitudes. The others there have made it a comfortable environment to shop in. There is no place for racism in a business or any where for that matter. The latest problem is I purchased some vitamins from Ingles. Did not notice the vitamins had been opened till I got home.Need to check you stuff before you purchase.I did not go back to the store just because I have not had the time and I just threw the vitamins away. Can not really hold the store @ fault!
Ingles is a nice and clean grocery store!! It is a big place with all kinds of foods you can want or desire! They have a salad bar, hot and cold deli, and a bakery that will capture you just with the aroma when you walk in the door. The staff are very friendly and welcoming!! You can find things at Igles that you cannot find anywhere else!! If not, just ask, it may be that they could order it for you! If you like to buy your groceries at a clean store, this is your place.
As ALWAYS, my experience here is nothing short of fantastic. The cashiers are always ready & eager to help you & never keep you waiting. The baggers are always on hand to assist you to your car if you choose to do so. The managers are always available if you need them. The deli & bakery go above & beyond to make sure you have anything you may need. This is one of the BEST grocery stores in Carrollton. Prices are a little higher than others but the service & employees make up for that & make it worth the extra.
Great place but today was HILARIOUSLY SAD. poor girl they have working in the deli has no idea what a chicken is! we asked for light meat and she had no idea what the different parts are! i had to lean over the counter and point under the glass to what a wing was!!! i have never seen anyone not know what a drumstick, wing or breast were. INGLES MOVE her!!! yall making it obvious how dumb she is!!! or EDUCATE YOUR STAFF!!! #carrolltonneedsintelegence
Excellent selection of gluten-free products for this area. But dont trust the little brown gluten free tags entirely. Read the label on the package, too. I bought shortbread cookies that were store-labeled as GF, but just one bite caused 8 hours of absolute misery for my husband, who has celiac disease.
A Great Place to ShopCarrollton has seemingly endless places to shop for groceries and Ingles is always in my top pick to do business with.Ingles has an extensive selection, friendly and helpful staff, a clean and easy to navigate setup, a DVD/Game rental center, fresh meet/deli, bakery, a massive salad bar, the list goes on.The only thing I will slightly complain about is the check out line. It is very weird how the is no counter or belt that you but your items on, the employees do all the work of unloading and scanning and bagging. It is nice but I thing the old fashion way might be faster.I would recommend this grocery store over just about any other one.
A ton of stuff doesnt even have prices next to it. The prices are higher than other grocery store like kroger. The checkout lines are awkward. Ingles still has a movie department which has probably been losing them money forever. I wont go in the future except for specific goods that are only at Ingles. The wine section was nice.
Up until today ingles was our favorite grocery store. Although service has been questionable for the past few months we continued to shop there. However, things changed today. My wife notified store employees of a customer walking around with a dog. The man was holding his dog while sorting through produce and leaning over deli items. The store employee stated pets are not permitted in the store but they look at it on a case by case bases. This was not a service dog. When my wife stated we should bring our dogs the district manager stated it would probably not be allowed. Now, I am proud to say that we are now loyal publics customers. Ingles lack of concern regarding sanitation around food items made our decision easy. Their lack of concern about our concerns only sealed the deal.
Only place where I can find Dr. Oetker pizzas. Theyre so delicious and easy to make. Ingles also has some very good kettle and caramel corn up by the self check out registers. Their sales are very good as well, especially on their frozen food items with which I stock my freezer. Thx Ingles!
Its a grocery store. Yep. The oddest thing about this store is it still has a video rental section. I think the last video I rented from anywhere was Thor 2.For the most part this is just a quick grab location. Prices are far more expensive than any other store, short of Publix. Cant really say much more than that.
Ingles in Carrollton has a discount grocery store feel with something more the size of a supermarket. The prices are good but the specials require that you sign up for a shoppers club card, which has no other benefits such as other rewards or gasoline savings. The produce department is one of the better ones in town with a good selection including peppers and a wide variety of fruits. The service there has been very friendly upon every visit. Register lines are kept short at any time of day or day of week, making quick stops for a few items very reasonable. Ingles is my go to grocery store in Carrollton.
The store is great as far as the cashiers and management behind the glass up front. The employees who work in the deli part are not all that great. I go into ingles for a sandwich all the time because in my opinion its better than subway but I kid you not I stand there for ten minutes before someone finally comes over, but if youre there for the hot food plate, they jump right on it. Its like nobody wants to make a sandwich. I can literally make eye contact with everyone that is back there multiple times before the one person from all the way across the world comes over. Can I make a suggestion???? If someone comes to the counter (especially if theyre more than three of yall). At least acknowledge the person with a hello or be right with you or something. Hell even Mcdonalds acknowledges you when you walk through the door.
This use to be my favorite store but no longer there customer service managers and employees dont care. The vendors stocking the shelves care more than any one in there. Over the past 6 months this place has gone down hill.I wont be shopping here any more unless I absolutely have to.
I love Ingles because they have so much variety. A salad bar. A fruit bar. Olive bar. Wing bar. Hot food. Deli sandwiches made fresh daily. Panera soup to go. Candy to go (not the packaged kind) that goes by weight. Fresh cookies. Fresh donuts. Apple fritters. Kool aid slushies. Its The Best!!!
I GO HERE BECAUSE OF THE CONVENIENCE AND REALLY ITS A LOT NICER, CLEANER, AND ABOVE ALL THINGS QUIETER THAN WALMART NO SCREAMING KIDS AND LOUD PARENTS YELLING AND SOMETIMES CUSSING AT THEM TO SHUT UP LOL.! LOL.! LOL.! THE PRICES ARE A BIT HIGHER, BUT I ONLY GET USUALLY ONE OR TWO ITEMS THAT I MISSED OR WALMART WAS OUT OF THE ITEM..
Walked into ingles to pick up a few things with my wife. Went to check out and they only had self check out. I personally dont like self check out, any how it was not functioning correctly. 2 employees were working the self check out area talking to each other and kept looking at my Wife and I. I asked them to come over the first time and they just looked at me. I firmly asked them a 2nd time and they still just looked at me. I lost my temper and said some choice words. This is intolerable and I personally will not stand for it. I intend to push it. This is exactly what is wrong with this country. This attitude these young miscreants have. I will never go to this ingles again and I will be passing the word to others to stay away. I will not pay for employees to stand around and do nothing for the customer. Fire there asses!!!!!!!! I have good experience with the other ingles. I like Publix and Krogers as well.
Violently coughing employees at a food store should be sent home. I have complained to upper managment and the department of agriculture who over sees health at food stores. Today the woman about to check me out was coughing so violently it made me sick just to even listen to and see was talking on the intercom over the store, during the violent coughing she put the speaker phone to her mouth to have the loud coughing echo through the intire store, at which point she started laughing histericaly. I walked out without my shopping that i needed

2022-02-13Nice clean store. Staff is very friendly. Deli is pretty good. Subs are good. Produce looks fresh.Update 2022. Clean store, you see the manager making rounds Che king on his employees and making sure the store is kept and clean. His staff respects him and he respects his staff and store from my observation. Has a fine selection of produce, meat, groceries etc. never had to wait long in lines and staff is friendly and smiles. Good job Mr Warren.
