We had an amazing experience at Jackson Automotive! Sales associate John Assongba was readily available, knowledgeable, and patient with us throughout our processes on deciding on what we wanted. He was professional and courteous! I would recommend him if you are wanting to purchase a Volvo or Mercedes-Benz!! Thanks for all of you help John it didn’t go unnoticed!
I have never had a car buying experience like today, Marcus Johnson went above and beyond to answer every question and detail about our new car! There was not one single thing I would have changed about my car buying experience with Marcus. He has been selling cars for 34 years and he still seemed as excited as I was to be in this new Mercedes’.
It is extremely rare for me to give a review, but the service I received from Jackson Automotive Group was nothing short of amazing. I purchased a CPO E300 4matic with amazingly low miles! My dream team Kevin (New Car sales), Jordan(Sales Mgr), and James (finance) ensured I nit only received the best deal but gave me 5 star treatment. My future purchase will be with them, it was worth the hour drive.
I love my Subaru Forester and the sales rep was great.I bought it NEW at the end of 2020 It is a 2021. Jamie in Service is great. My issue is that the problem I am having is with my wiring being eaten by rodents - over $3000.00 in work having to be done. I live in a rural area. There are 3 other vehicles at my location - all older and none having this issue. I have learned my wiring is Soy based - RODENTS LOVE SOY and Subaru knows this as they have a Class Action Suite in Hawaii for this very reason. I am very upset with their wow this is something I have never seen before attitude and their not trying to prevent it. Subaru needs to assist and prevent a problem rather than profit!!!Also - while in waiting area the other week a manager or such was in a side office right by that waiting area. He was talking on the phone to a higher up it seemed about how they were having to eat a repair job. The man used several profanities that could be heard all through the lobby of customers. That is just bad business!
The most unresponsive dealership I have ever emailed. I have emailed they several times to get pictures of the inside of car they have on their website but the website doesnt have pictures of the inside of the car. I used the chat feature like 3 times. I advised of the car I was interested in and wanted someone to email me pictures of the inside of the car. I advised I cant be on the phone at work so email is the best communication. Jessica the chat person said she would get someone right on it. After 2 or 3 days without any picture I emailed the dealership got some generic email. I replied asking for pictures and explained I live 2 or 3 hrs away do before driving I would like to see pictures of the inside. Its been 2 or 3 day am still no picture. Guess they dont want to see a used car or dont care since its not a Benz.
Several years back, I purchased a CPO 2017 GLS 450 from this dealership for my wife, as a anniversary present. We knew that we were at the right dealership, based on the approach and professionalism exhibited by our salesman, Mr. Marcus Johnson. His product knowledge, salesmanship and ability to communicate sold us on buying a GLS 450, even though the exact match, based on our criteria, was not in their inventory. Months went by and Mr. Johnson would keep in touch when new inventory came in. After multiple recommendation from new arrivals, six months later the exact vehicle came in and we went in for a demo. After the demo and serious negotiation, we purchased the car. Also, Mr. Johnson followed through with making sure that we were satisfied with the purchase. A few minor service issues were necessary and he was instrumental in the correction. My wife loves the car and she lets me drive it sometimes. Mr. Johnson is an asset to this dealership and we appreciate him working with us to make our purchase a pleasant experience. He would be our choice to sell us another Mercedes.
We purchased a Mercedes AMG G63 from Jackson Mercedes Benz.Marcus Simpson our salesperson made our purchase a wonderful experience.Marcus is very knowledgeable, professional & such a pleasure to work with. He definitely deserves 5 stars!!James Ayers finished the financial side and handled closing efficiency very quickly.Thank you Jackson Mercedes Benz of Macon GA.we will be back for our next Mercedes.Your dealership made our drive from Missouri worth the trip!!!
We found the vehicle that was perfect for our large family, a used 2017 Chevy Suburban at Jackson VW of Macon. Or at least we thought it was perfect. Two days after purchasing the suburban the check engine light came on along with several other service warnings. (We got a warranty) We took it back to the dealership. They couldnt help us and told us to take it to a Chevy dealer. Thats when the problems really began. The Chevy dealer said the transmission was going out, the stablitrac needed service, and the engine had several fuel related issues. The Chevy dealership tried several times to contact Jackson VW with no help. Jackson would not honor nor stand by what they sold us. Luckily our warranty will cover the transmission but we are out over $2000 for the other problems that should have been caught by Jackson VW if they would have properly inspected the vehicle according to their Gold Standard used vehicle inspection. The Chevy dealer said that the computer fault codes had just been cleared not fixed. Be very cautious when buying a vehicle from Jackson VW of Macon especially a used vehicle.
Mr. Marcus Johnson, sales representative, was very professional and proficiency. Mr. Johnson kept in contact with me all the way to the end. He made sure that I understood everything that was going on and he walked me through it all. He also made sure I was happy with my purchase.
A great experience! My rep John Assongba was sharp and to the point, very responsive with all of my questions and concerns even days after the purchase. We took what normally could take all day and made it happen within a couple of hours. Very grateful for John Assongba and the Mercedes team!
We bought a car with Randall, who was incredibly responsive and professional. Very transparent process and low pressure. Randall listed to us and what we wanted. He didnt try to push inventory on us or pressure us into buying a car or additional features that we didnt want. Very differentiated experience compared to other dealers in the Greater Atlanta area.
They sold me a Mercedes Benz from online. The pictures shown online didn’t show a crack in the windshield that was repaired. Once I got it delivered to me I didn’t see it until the first time I drove the car. I called the dealer (Volkswagen of Macon) and they told me to get it repaired at their cost. I brought the car to a glass shop and they told me that it had been repaired already. I called the dealer back saying that they sold me a car that had a repaired windshield and that I wouldn’t have bought this one had I known it had a repaired windshield. There are many other dealers with the same car online. I won’t be happy until they replace the windshield. We’ll see what they do, but I have a feeling that nothing will be done about the selling me a car that had damage and wasn’t disclosed. Sounds like a bait and switch to me.
Email I sent to the GM of Mercedes & President of Jackson Automotive GroupGood afternoon Ken Grinstead & Jimmy JacksonIm writing this email to express just how deeply I regret walking into the Macon Mercedes dealership. My wife and I visited this location and walked in past the receptionist, the sales managers, and two salesmen who were in their offices and no one said a word. Additionally, three salesmen walked across the showroom floor where we were standing and also didnt say a word.We were the only customers in the building and every single person in the dealership looked at us and blatantly ignored us. We came in specifically to purchase the 2017 s63 and after spending approximately 6-7 minutes standing around being ignored and waiting to be acknowledged, I decided to ask to speak to the manager of the dealership. After a brief internet search, I realized that I did not speak with the GM, I spoke with a man by the name of Jordan Stewart. In hindsight, I dont appreciate being deceived by Mr. Stewart. I made it clear that I needed to speak with the manager of the dealership and he decided to be dismissive and speak over me as I expressed my discomfort. I asked him if it was customary not to approach clients and he responded with a slew of excuses for his unprofessional sales team. Shaun Ward sat right next to him, listened to the entire interaction, and didnt even stand up out of his seat to acknowledge my presence. It is my understanding that these two young men are your sales managers, but judging from my encounter with them yesterday, they seem to be lacking the ability to navigate through the elementary concept of customer relations. This experience was extremely disheartening to me as a person who has previously serviced my 2016 s550 coupe at this dealership. This is not my first bad experience here and I still returned despite that. When I brought my s550 to have it serviced, my paint was in perfect condition. I got it corrected and ceramic coated exactly 3 days prior to my service and had not touched the car between servicing it at this dealership and getting it corrected. The service department left significant swirling in my perfect paint job during my curtesy wash. I couldnt believe that such an expensive car was handled so carelessly. I went back and forth with Rusty via email where he did not take accountability for the flat-out negligent mishandling of my car and I eventually decided to take it as a lesson learned, an expensive lesson learned.I was recently t-boned and my car was totaled out so I was hoping to replace it today. I was ignored purely because of preconceived ideas about my intent to purchase and the amount of money that I have to spend. Ive worked hard to afford myself luxuries in life and to come here and be treated like I dont have a penny to my name was disturbing. No one even bothered to simply unlock the car that I was so clearly interested in until after I approached the sales manager. I was treated like I wasnt even worth approaching. I just wanted to bring this to your attention today because it doesnt cost any time or effort for your salesmen to maintain a certain level of professionalism and I feel like I have been constantly mistreated by this establishment. These young men seem to be lacking leadership and obviously dont possess the initiative to correct themselves. The sales manager didnt even bother to apologize and that spoke volumes to his integrity and his ability to hold his sales team accountable. I was going to purchase a 100 thousand dollar car yesterday and after this encounter, I wouldnt even purchase a key chain from this establishment because that is just how unwelcoming it felt. In the end, I hope that this was a learning experience for everyone that worked yesterday because they just missed out on a huge commission and a long-term customer.V/rStedmen Dunn
Purchased a 2018 Nissan Sentra from this dealership on last Saturday Oct 9th. Over the weekend( less than 7 days later) , I went out to start the vehicle for the second time since making the purchase and the vehicle would not start. I jumped it off, drove it around for an hour, and after shutting it off, it once again did not start. Considering that this was a $16,000 purchase made just a week ago, even though I did not purchase the extended warranty offered, I would have expected a reputable company such as this that says they pride themselves on customer service, to do the right thing and take care of the issue. However, much to my surprise after reaching back out to my salesman (out of respect to him, I will not mention his name) I was extremely disappointed. Not only did he ignore /did not respond to my initial text, I ended up calling him 5 hours later and he basically agreed that it sounded like the battery and offered no further assistance. Somehow in less than seven days, he went from being extremely professional and providing excellent customer service to being somewhat short and dismissive when it came to this issue. At this point, I’m not asking nor am I expecting anything from the dealerships, just want to make the public aware of what they should/can expect from this organization if you choose to deal with them. Excellent customer on the front end...........but once you make that purchase, you should expect to be disappointed and not expect a whole lot from them in the event that you have an issue.....even if it’s just 7 days later. If the company would not offer to address an issue as simple as this that was clearly pre-existing, I can only imagine what else they are choosing to overlook. Just something to consider prior to spending your hard earned money with this organization . Have a nice day!
Just purchased a Mercedes Benz through Wendel Nelson who was fantastic helping us through the whole process. He is extremely knowledgeable about the models and all the new technologies. He helped us decide among the SUV models, guided us through the ordering process to ensure we got exactly what we wanted, and kept us updated on the production until the car was delivered. His focus and demeanor was to help us get what we wanted and not just to close a sale. Wendel is very personable and gets to know you so that he can better help you. The dealership even took quite a bit of time to orient us to the car and teach us how all the new technology worked so that we could take advantage of everything. It was very reassuring to know that they are there to help us even after we took delivery of the vehicle. Great to have such a great customer service oriented team here in Macon!
Was connected with car salesman RICHARD LOWREY at Jackson AutomotiveHorrible customer service, gave us a hard time with doing paperwork, didn’t care to do a follow up, had to reach out to him to get updates .. Delivered the car to us with DEAD KEY FOBS.As a customer, We felt like we were bugging himIf you are searching for a car, PLEASE Don’t use RICHARD LOWRY. Your car buying experience would not be great .
I purchased a used Honda Odyssey from Jackson automotive in April. Their staff was was courteous and professional at every step. They even offered to deliver the car the next day. Thank you to everyone from the online sales to the finance department that was involved in the sale. Top notch!
They seriously need to get a handle on the mechanics. They are getting kickbacks from the sales associates to convince people coming in to trade there cars in. The scam they run operates like this. They tell you that something major is wrong with your car and that you need to trade it in. That it will cost anywhere between 3500 and 5500 to fix. The mechanic refers you to a sales associate Friend that can help you into a new or used car and work on a trade in. Reality is car has small minor issue and they want you to trade in the car for well under kelly blue book because you believe your car is broken. They pressure you with a diagnostic fee charge. The reality is you go to another mechanic or specialist shop they inform you it is minor about 100 part. This scam has happen to me twice at Jackson’s Mercedes and Volkswagen dealer.
Bought a car today, Shaun and David assisted in the purchase. Very friendly and professional, would recommend to family and friends. He worked with me and was patient through out the whole process. I was purchasing for my parents and he was patient while we test drove multiple vehicles until we could reach the decision on what was best for my parents. I will be purchasing a car for myself from here down the road as well. Their hard work and dedication got them a customer for life.
I stopped in on a road trip to buy coolant. The gentleman who helped me offered to come look to see if I really needed it. He was very helpful and suggested only putting a very small amount. I had also texted the parts department and they texted back and were friendly and pleasant. I love my 2107 Legacy Limited, but if I do decide to upgrade, Im headed here!
Update: This is my second trip to Jackson Automotive for service on my 2006 Mercedes C230, with the V6. Scheduled ahead for an oil change and filter. They texted me back a time of 9:30am. Being that I have gone through tech school training and also worked as a mechanic, Im able to assess whether, or, not, service has appropriately been done on my car.Everything was moving forward as expected. They did the same car cleaning as before. I like that part. This is where things went a bit off the rails. I opened the hood to inspect the work done. The plastic front engine cover (which Ive removed and replaced multiple times without issue) was loose. I spent many hours tightening this piece so this would not be the case. Lifting the cover to remove it, I notice one of the metal clips that hold it down is missing. I circle back around to JAG to, first, see if these clips can be purchased separately. No. Parts department stated the clips only come with the entire front cover, priced at $104 USD. Im not happy, to say the least.A young mechanic asks if he can help. With cover in hand, I expressed my dismay at having had only an oil and filter change and am, now, dealing with a missing clip that shouldnt have just fallen off. He took my cover into the service area and I waited...and waited. Finally, Kyle asked if he could help and I restated the engine cover issue. Another young gentleman, Cooper, got involved. The mechanic with my cover resurfaced only to suggest going to parts. I wasnt paying $104 USD for a clip. Kyle and Cooper, sensing my frustration, decided to see if the clip fell somewhere in the engine area. They took time out to do this in the, already, 90° heat over an even hotter engine. A few minutes later, the young mechanic dude found a clip. Dont know if it was THE clip, but, it was the exact clip. With some finessing from a flathead screwdriver, I secured the clip to its plastic base on the cover. Kyle placed it snug to the engine and done! Why am I giving this account? My car, Mercedes, or, not, is a representation of me and how I care for the things I own. I took great care to replace missing, or, broken parts on my car. When all of the bits are still in place, even on an older car, it says a lot about the owner. Its important that the mechanics know I care and will inspect their work. Take your time. Do a good job. Do your best not to break, damage, or, disassemble (intentionally, or, unintentionally) bits on a customers vehicle. You never know whos car may be in your care. The service was up $8 USD from the last time for the same work. That was about 3,800, or so, miles ago. If the price keeps rising, Ill be forced to take it elsewhere. Overall, I was made whole and satisfied with how the visit ended. This couldve been a better service.A sincere thank you, to Mark, Kyle, Cooper and an unnamed mechanic, for stepping up to fix an issue I should never have had.
I had the best experience today! I drove 4 hours to get a Preowned Honda CR-V. Why? Because it was the best deal around point, blank, period. Thank you so much Ken, Brad, Mr. Chambers, Travis & especially Seth for everything. The process was so easy and painless. I’d drive another 4 hours to purchase a car from this dealership.
I have bought 5 cars from Jackson Automotive in the last 5 years. Their service is excellent. The salespeople are knowledgeable and courteous. Theres none of that price haggling and frustration that usually accompanies the buying process. I was done with my paperwork in 10 minutes.I surprised my wife with a new 2015 Outback. Wendel was in on the surprise, and put a bow on the hood, and led my wife into the showroom. She thought that we were just dropping off our old Outback to get detailed, but she left with a brand new one--I captured it all on video. It was a wonderful Valentine gift and we love the Outback!
Very positive and professional atmosphere. My wife and I had just visited another dealership, and left with such a negative feeling we almost went home. After a few minutes with Robert, we felt completely relaxed. Robert discussed the vehicle, choices and options with an understanding of someone that has owned the car for years. After purchasing the car, Robert set up the cars technology and explained all of the characteristics and special operations. This was, by far, the best car buying experience I have ever had. I can see myself returning to Jackson Automotive Group in the future to buy another car. John & Cheryl
I had my car picked up and service received a loaner. My car was brought back with half tank of gas gone and my car was not detailed. I called about my car not being detailed and service guy Rust told me that department was closed and they wasnt detailing ANY cars. Oddly I was talking to a client that had just had service done the next day after mine was returned and he told me his car was service and detailed. I called back to the dealership the next day and spoke to this so-called general manager name Ken Grandstead who was rude, unprofessional, and who completely LIED to me about this service entirely just as his service guys had done as well. I told him my client just got serviced and detailed done then he changed and said well maybe he specifically requested this service which was just another lie to support the previous lie. I will NEVER purchase a car from this location nor have my service done there.
I just purchased a new 2016 250 CLA from Jackson Mercedes Benz. My salesperson Phillip was professional, efficient and followed up with what needed to be done when you purchase a new car. He was knowledgeable about my specific vehicle and also about my financing options. The financing department hit the ball out of the park with my annual percentage rate! Excellent all around experience!
The only place I buy my vehicles! Kerri is awesome and really helps streamline the sales experience. They seem to always have the best staff that shows a willingness to help. Even when I see new faces, it’s like they have been working there for years. 3 vehicles purchased so far from here. I’ve referred my mother and my aunt who both purchased vehicles from here also.
This was the most pleasurable purchase of a vehicle for me ever. Every step of the process was both personable and straight forward. Everything promised was provided and in a timely manner. My salesman , the sales manager and the driver who delivered my vehicle could not have been more accommodating. I will come back to Jackson Automotive from South Carolina for my next vehicle purchase. Thanks again for superb service.
I just purchased my second Mercedes from Jackson Automotive Group and had a great experience. You wont find a better sales agent than Vincent Okorleyl! He was very patient with me and answered all my questions and concerns. He went above and beyond to ensure I was a satisfied customer. He personally drove my ML 350 to me which was a 1 1/2 hrs. drive away ...Outstanding customer service!!!
Having purchased multiple vehicles here, Im consistently impressed with the high quality and professionalism of the staff at Jackson Automotive. Richard Lowry is a great example. He is very patient and knowledgeable in communicating all the vehicle options and details of the purchase. The service has been excellent and it is always hassle free to arrange visits. It is a very comfortable environment and I always leave feeling taken care of.
We travelled 77 miles on Memorial Day to the dealership because of 2 used Mercedes we found via the internet that were on sale with low miles. The first had none of the accessories that we wanted, but the second one had most of the desired accessories. It was a beautiful vehicle with 14000 miles which had been a demo. We wanted the vehicle, but had a car for trade. Our salesman worked hard with us to negotiate a great deal for our car, and we were extremely satisfied with the final trade-in deal. We highly recommend this dealership and Tyler Sandbak as an honest and exceptional salesman.
Never thought buying a car could be an enjoyable experience. Until we went to Jackson Automotive and met Wendel. After nine years we just purchased our 4th vehicle from Wendel. Always a great experience. Always helped us get just the right car for a good price. Whether new or used. I always recomend Wendel to anyone I know looking for a vehicle.
Very Good People! No pressure! I had pre-approved financing for a vehicle. And My Salesman worked with his people and got the price down into the parameters I had to have to buy the SUV I was buying and everything went Like clockwork! I highly recommend Shaun Ward, the Salesman to everyone! Please use my name when requesting him! Thank You!
We went to Jackson Automotive for the purchase of our sons Mercedes - Orange Edition CLA 250. Every person we encountered...from sales, finance, managers, front desk, etc. treated us with the utmost dignity and professionalism. We checked out several Mercedes dealerships in Georgia and Jackson Automotive was the absolute best price and hassle-free purchase. You can tell that this dealership prides itself on professionalism and customer relationships...treating you as if you are family. We will definitely return to Jackson Automotive for future purchases...and we will definitely encourage others to travel to Macon and get the same level of service that we had the pleasure of experiencing!!! David Morgan is the sales manager that we worked with and Philip Washington is the sales consultant. These guys went far beyond the normal standard of dealership employees. They treated us with care and made us feel like they valued our business. They are the blue print of how every dealership should operate!
We waited a year while looking, for our son to get his license. During this time, Randall checked in, but was very low key. After test driving what seemed like every MB on the lot, I felt most comfortable with the ML and Randall ordered the one I wanted. The Parts and Service Depts. were very friendly and surprisingly, affordable for the few extra features I added. I am extremely pleased with my experience with Jackson Auto and will be happy to buy there, again. Since my husband keeps borrowing my car, I think it will be sooner, rather than later.
We were very impressed with the service provided by Wendel Nelson at Jackson Auto in Macon. He was very friendly and sincere in his treatment of us, and very knowledgeable about the models we were interested in. We looked at the Subaru Forrester Unlimited and the Forrester Touring models and purchased the Forrester Touring because we liked the additional features of this model. Wendel patiently went over all these features with us, and after our purchase he sat in the car with us explaining how everything worked before we took it out on the road. This SUV is amazing, with backup camera, GPS, Satellite radio, phone service, lane change warning, and many other technical abilities but, because of Wendels careful tutoring, we have had no problems and love our new Forrester more every day. Thank you, Jackson Auto and Wendel Nelson! Jim and Mary Robertson
Excellent Mercedes Dealership.I would like to personally thank Kerri Bell, Phillip Washington and Ryan Lee for their outstanding customer service. I had purchased a 2016 CLA Sport witch I thought that I liked. After driving it for a week, i found that it was to small for my liking and did not have near the amenities that i had on my previous car. I called Phillip and explained that i was not happy with the purchase and wanted to know what he and Mercedes could do for me. In the mean time I found an E series on their web site. I new that was the car for me. I spoke with Phillip and he assure me they would make it work. After arriving at the dealership He and Ryan Lee made it happen. I am not the easiest to work with when it comes to purchasing an automobile.I have a standard in mind of what Mercedes stands for. I believe that when purchasing a car of this degree i expect a higher standard of service and quality. I want to say that the Kerri, Phillip, Ryan and the rest of the staff went beyond their duties to me, and serve Mercedes well. It is and was what i expect from them and Mercedes when making such a purchase.Again thank each one of you for doing an outstanding job.Mark Cheatham
We just had a great experience here at Jackson Automotive Group. We ended up buying a ML 350 and absolutely love it. The attention we got from all the sales team from Kerri to Phillip to Ryan was amazing. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a luxury automobile.
I called Jackson Automotive Group in the morning inquiring about a 2016 C300. I spoke with Ken Bleicher. after negotiating on the phone he gave me an incredible deal on one of their certified per-owned C300. I drove down two hours to to the dealership and was welcomed by Phillip Washington. Phillip was extremely friendly and helpful through out the entire buying process. The rest of the staff made the buying experience very easy. I am now a very happy and satisfied Mercedes Benz owner thanks to the great staff at Jackson Automotive Group.
Amazing experience buying a car. I was not sure at all what I was going to purchase in terms of make or model. Jim Pensyl gave me great education and demo on several models. He definitely helped me choose the right vehicle for me and did not try to oversell me. This was absolutely the best sales team I have ever worked with in any purchase. I had not purchased a car recently and from the time of internet inquiry to purchase I felt confidence without any pressure. This salespeople did not pressure me or inundate me with too many emails like every other dealership online! Once Kerri called, I knew they had earned my visit and once I went to see Jim Pensyl, they had definitely earned my business! This dealership is worth the drive, which I made from Atlanta! All the way to signing my papers and beyond, I felt comfortable.
I originally posted a negative review, because I had several unfortunate issues with my car buying experience; however, I am updating my review because of the prompt response to my concerns. The general manager reached out personally and not only did he listen to my concerns, he did everything possible to make everything right. I truly appreciated this, and while it was unfortunate to have some issues in the first place, I believe this is not the norm and his willingness to get things straightened out has made me much happier about my purchase and overall experience! Thank you!
We looked at Subaru Outbacks for a few months and the first dealership we went to didnt follow through on working with us to find the car we wanted. All it took was one call to Jackson Automotive and John Lowry answered all of my questions, helped me find the car I wanted and provided excellent customer service from the first call until we bought our car. The entire staff was friendly, courteous and willing to help us!
My husband and I recently bought a car at Jackson Automotive Group in Macon Georgia. We were very satisfied with our salesman..Vince Okorley. He was extremely knowledgeable professional and willing to work with us to get the exactly what we wanted. We got a great deal and were very satisfied with out experience with Vince and Jackson Automotive... this is the third car we have bought from them and we would highly recommend them!
I just bought a 2016 Subaru Outback. Tony Deerman was a great salesman. He made the process very easy and pleasant. This was the first new car that I have bought in several years and I am thrilled with the vehicle and the customer service that we received at Jackson Automotive.
I’ve bought a Mercedes from vw Macon which is Jackson automotive and while I was there I was having a issue connecting my phone to my new Mercedes I bought no body were able to help me at the dealership because they weren’t familiar with Mercedes and they told me go across to street which is “Mercedes Macon” they will help you because we are the same auto group. I went there and asked them a help first they said why did you buy such a bad car like this we are talking about 2 year old first owner non issue vehicle and second thing they said go get help whoever you bought the car from and asked me to leave their property. Never been a place like that! Super rude and unprofessional people I don’t think Mercedes should work this kind of people
I recently purchased an Acura MDX from Jackson Automotive Subaru. The salesman I worked with, Brian Dukes was very polite, friendly, and informed about the vehicle! The transaction was quick and easy. Everything from walking in the front door to leaving with the keys in hand was done in a matter of about 2 hours. Ive previously sat in dealerships for 6 hours purchasing a car and its awful--that is not the case with Jackson Automotive! They didnt pressure us with extended warranties or anything. If we said no they moved on. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a car!
If you are looking to buy a new car; a pre-owned car, I would highly recommend Jackson Oldsmobile. I purchase the Volvo XC-60 because (1) I owned a Volvo years ago and had close to 200,000 miles on it. I was planning on keeping it forever but some hit the car so badly several years ago that the insurance company totaled it. I was in the market for another one. (2) From the minute I walked into the facility, everyone was so thoughtful and really gave the impression they were happy I was there. My salesperson was Mr. Marcus Johnson. I am one of those people who - if you are rushing me into making a decision or rushing me out of the facility - I will just walk away. They also sell cars at the price that can accommodate the purse of a middle class to the extremely upper class customer. They treated me like an upper class customer which I am not. If you want to do business with a business that shows you that they enjoy you doing business with them, I recommend you go to Jackson Oldsmobile.
I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful staff here at Jackson Automotive. Jim Pensyl was the salesman who worked with me from the time I walked onto the lot up until I signed the last page of my paperwork. He was nice, informative, patient, and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend you shop here.
My experience was awesome; I mean really awesome!I hate buying cars due to previous BAD experiences with salesmen, but not here at Jackson Automotive. My sales person, Chris Cannon, was new and I was his first customer. Initially, I came with the no-nonsense looks and attitude (as I stated above, bad experiences). Chris and I test drove the car, and he asked me very important questions, but the one that made me put down my guard was What do YOU want in YOUR next car?Chris also, stayed within my budget, and did not try to over/up sell me a car for his commission check. I remained his sole focus throughout the deal. After I test drove the car I did fall in love, but there was one key element that was missing, which was the push to start button. Chris said give me a moment and let me get David Morgan to talk to both of us, because Im new and I do not know everything (he was humble and honest).Moments later, David Morgan (Sales manager) came out and explained all the features of the car, but more importantly, he said it has push starting and key starting features. This made me very happy and optimistic for the rest of my car buying experience. After test driving and learning the features of the car, we spoke about pricing. Of course, like any business they wanted to make money, BUT they also wanted to make me happy which was a 2 for 1 deal. Lets just say I was very happy with the price of my car (Certified E350 Coupe).Lastly, I met another face Brandon Kester (Finance manager), here I signed all my paperwork, and even had some GOOD laughs with him. Brandon was attentive, knowledgeable, and answered all questions without missing a beat!Almost forgot this detail I have a seven-year-old boy, and like any seven-year-old kid, they get bored... all electronics were dead and he needed something to occupy his attention, so I could sign my life away (lol). Chris took my son (close by), and they played, laughed and ate popcorn (my sales person was my babysitter LOL).Dont be jealous just get your butts over there and buy a car from Jackson Automotive Group in Macon, GA.Okay, my wrap up....I drove from Suwanee, GA to Macon to look at a car that I perhaps wouldnt buy, but I left there with my new car, and they drove my SUV back to me in Suwanee, GA two days later. Im not saying they will do this for everyone, and this was an agreement I made with my sales person, but again it was great service.Talking about customer service!
Superb Service!!! You will not be disappointed when you visit Jackson Automotive for your new ride. Be sure to ask for Kerri Bell or Philip Washington to assist you with your car buying needs. This facility treats customers like family and is highly recommended. From the service department to the Finance staff..... look and stop by now!!!!
I purchased a Volvo on November 14 my salesperson was Jim Pensyl and I informed him on November 11 that I needed a second car and he was on it. I got a great deal on that Volvo which he gave his all to satisfy our needs. Jackson Automotive is very professional and experience with what you need. I will definitely be going back to purchase another vehicle. Thanks JimMackeys
After searching for weeks for a Mini roadster, I found one on Jackson Automotive website. I live 2 1/2 hours away, so it the deal started with a phone call. I have to say the guys here were more than helpful...especially working with Tony Deerman. In doing everything online and phone calls I have to say that when we went to pick up the car, everything was exactly as it was told to us. The honesty and service we have received makes buying a car a funny and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend Jackson Subaru. Remember if your buying or looking, be sure to ask for Tony Deerman for the most truthful and enjoyable buying experience.
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! After several days of texting with Marcus and making it crystal clear of the deal I was looking for he agreed to the deal. I stated the agreement over and over to make sure we were on the same page and he acknowledged the agreement. After traveling 1.5 hours to pick up the car all in a sudden Marcus states that he misunderstood the agreement.I would never recommend this dealership especially since this sales rep clearly doesn’t understand the business or the numbers. ABSOLUTELY LOUSY.Again your response make no sense. It should not be assumed it’s “understood”. It’s your Sales people responsibility to clearly explain as I clearly explained the accepted agreement which the balance was paid off by the dealership and I was paying $12,000 cash for the vehicle.
I thoroughly enjoyed my buying experience. From my first conversation, throughout negotiations, I was treated with respect and given no hassle information and pricing and a very fair trade on my car. Excellent purchase, I love the car and look forward to getting my service here as well.
I thought the experience of Kerri, to follow through and help me get the vehicle that I love, and enjoying to this day is great. I like that I was in and out within 2 hours, and have told many about the great experience that I have had.Thank you for the great experience in buying my first new car, and if I ever need a new vehicle I will think of you first.
Jim Pensyl and David Morgan took fantastic care of me. Unlike with other dealers in Macon, the fine folks at Jackson made my car-buying experience pleasant and hassle free. I was able to purchase a nice car at a good price without any double talk. Macon car shoppers should start here.
Worst car buying experience I have or probably ever will have. Bought a used Chevy Volt and had an agreed upon price before I arrived at the dealership. Dealt with Anida and Seth as my “sales people”. Upon showing up with a check for the full amount I was told that I had to pay an additional $599 do doc fee and also the taxes. It took over an hour of haggling and I ended up still having to pay the taxes on the car.As for the car itself, I should probably never have purchased it through them when I noticed there was 1 odd tire on the car. This was brought up, but brushed off. “It passed our inspection” they said. The car was without the charger, mats, and owners manual that should have come with the car. I was lucky to get the 2nd set of keys. After little more than 10 minutes of driving I noticed the car was pulling very hard to the left. I had it aligned and was tools it needed 2 NEW TIRES!! I texted then had to call Seth, but he did nothing to help. And offered nothing, telling me that It was my own fault that I was sold a car that had bad tires, telling me that because the tread was good the tire was fine.I would recommend steering clear of this crappy dealership. They are only interested in making a few extra bucks and screwing their customers.
Just purchased my second Mercedes from Jackson Automotive Group. You wont find a better buyers agent than Jim Pensyl! He was very patient with me as I had him show me several different models and had a multitude of questions before I finally chose a GLS 450. Outstanding customer service from introduction to post-sale!!!
Absolutely the best car buying experience Ive ever had! From initial contact with Kerri Bell the Internet manager. She placed me with the best salesman Tony Deerman. Tony was very knowledgeable and accommodationing to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Buying my first Mercedes-Benz was a wonderful experience!
This is by far the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Ms. Kerri Bell and Mr. Vince Okorley are the best. Kerri made sure the vehicle I saw on the internet was available and updated the photos. What I saw online is what I saw upon arrival. Vince made sure I was well informed of my purchase options and received a fair price on trade-in. Closing the deal with Mr. Brandon Kessler was effortless and pain free. Best Buying Experience Ever!!! I HIGHLY Recommend.
I was super apprehensive about purchasing a Subaru, as I had my heart set on a Jeep. After driving a Forester, and talking with these two handsome men, ( I forget which was taller) I felt pretty confident about the Forester. I am a rural mail carrier and wanted a vehicle to deliver mail out of. It proved to be roomy enough and I believe it will work for me. Great job guys!
------These guys are great. Ive been going here for nearly a year now. Everyone in the service department is friendly, thorough, and most importantly competent. They take care of all issues skillfully and knowledgeably; they are respectful, courteous, and considerate and will go as far as to repeatedly follow up, issue rental cars without hassle, and schedule as necessary.------The sales department Ive been visiting for over a year. The sales staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and comfortable to be around. They are competent in everything they do, from manner of speech to signing the paperwork. They are distinguished in that they do not put heavy pressure, like many many dealerships.------The mechanics are characterized by an appearance that is somewhat cleaner than your average mechanic. They wear gloves, wash their hands, and absolutely never get grease on your car. Every time you get an oil change, they will wash your car for you and vacuum it, if there isnt too much stuff on the floors and in the seats.------The waiting room of the service department is among the best, if not the best, I have ever been in. There is free coffee. The windows are always clean. There are plenty of magazines and articles of a wide variety. Of course, there are a couple brochures laying around...------The parts department is friendly and courteous. The bars are clean; the foyer neat. The prices are below standard dealer prices and are surprisingly reasonable.------The car lots are always neat and arranged correctly. They are easy to navigate and in a logical order. There is always an open spot for you to park your car nearby the showroom floor.------The showroom lobby is neat and clean. The cars are nicely arranged in a logical and nice manner. All the brochures and solicitations are laid out in a way that invites the consumer to look at them.------This dealership, from the lot to the parts department pays very close attention to detail, some will notice, many will not. I did. I noticed that even as a poor college student, even before I owned a Subaru, I was treated with dignity and respect. Ultimately, I bought a Subaru, and it gets seen for routine auto work every month or so; but this isnt about my car, which I could write a novel on, this is about this dealership.------If you have any doubts as to what Im saying, go and talk to them. Look them up on the BBB website. Then look up a dealership idiomatic with the number of stars this rating has -- youll see a big, big, difference.Omg. It didnt put line breaks. Sorry!
I have been wanting to buy a car for quite some time and after doing research and deciding exactly what I wanted, I started making calls to dealerships in this area. After being somewhat disappointed with inventory and the lack of knowledge and attentiveness of the sales staff, I called Jackson Auto Group. I spoke to a salesman by the name of Brad Kendrick and was immediately impressed with the ease of conversation, as well as his knowledge and understanding of what I was looking for. As a woman looking to purchase a vehicle, it was a breath of fresh air to speak with someone who seemed to genuinely care about my questions and concerns instead of being dismissive or patronizing. He answered all of my questions very thoroughly. I am now very excited about this car buying experience and working with the staff at Jackson Automotive. I will most definitely be contacting Mr. Kendrick and making a purchase from Jackson Automotive Group in the very near future! Thank you again, Mr. Kendrick, for your patience and all of your help. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
You know they are doing something right if you purchase 4 vehicles and have all your service done there. They have never let us down. From our frindly, helpful, go to bat for you salesman Jim Turner, Robert Lee, sales manager to the used car sales manager Randy Mullis we were treated with respect and kindness. In other words we felt like family. See Jim you wont be sorry. And the service department is the best!
I recently purchased a 2012 Mercedes Benz C Class back in August and I must say that the overall transaction went very smoothly for me everyone at Jackson Automotive was very politie and went far and beyond to make sure my overall experience was great. Now the reason why I am rating them two stars is because as a customer I was misinformed on serval occasions that I would receive a check for my tag and title I reached out to Mattie three different times regarding this matter and still havent been cut a check. When I purchased my vehicle there where things expected from me on the front end and I had everything in place down to my down payment. Now on the back end I am very upset that I was told one thing but in reality have had to come out of pocket which to me isnt good business when I was told something else. Hopefully this doesnt happen to anyone else..
I would have to say that I am so impressed with the service I received at Jackson Automotives and would recommend it to everyone. We purchased 2016 Volvo XC90 from Richard and he was straight forward with everything from the beginning. Best thing I loved was that they were not pushy or needy, also I was not able to take my car home that day but Richard was nice enough to come on a Sunday and let me leave with my brand new car. After a few weeks I got a call from Richard about my car and how I was enjoying it. Hands down the best and honest staff with amazing service. I am in love with my XC90 its truly a show stopper.I went last week to get my free update of Apple Carplay update in this vehicle and I was given a rental car so I would not have to wait in the dealership for that time. Mark Horton in service was great.Thank You everyone at Jackson Automotives
Tyler Sandbak was our sales representative. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, low-key, and above all honest in dealing with my wife and me. I would recommend Tyler to anyone interested in a car at Jackson. We love the Subaru XV Crosstrek we just purchased - possibly the best car Ive ever owned!
Be sure to holler at my man Marcus J. at Jackson Automotive. He is ready to make a deal with you and willing to take the time and effort to seal it. I like car purchasing as much as I like [insert your worse experience] but this shopping experience left me whole and complete. Thank you Jackson Automotive and thank you Ryan in Finance. :-)
No preasure, so easyRecently I called Wendel Nelson, who sold my wife and I a Subaru B9 Tribeca, in search of a fun car for my 124 mile/day commute to work. Without hesitation, Wendel had a recommendation and asked that I come take a look and I knew enough about Wendel that when he said come down, it was going to be worth the trip. Upon arriving, Wendel greeted me with a smile and a handshake and immediately showed me the car, a 2005 Mercedes SLK350. The test drive was much more than a testing of the cars handling, acceleration and beauty, but a complete run down on the creature features, safety features and what I was to expect as this would be my first Mercedes. Back at the dealership, no hassles, no pressure, just simple conversation on my thoughts and feelings of the car and I left that evening with all paperwork I needed to make the decision to purchase. The following morning I texted Wendel to let him know I was on my way, a 35 minute drive, and that I would purchase the car. When I arrived there was no waiting, nothing had changed from the night before and I was out of the dealership with full knowledge of the car, a face slathered in sunscreen and the top down within 45 minutes. Folks, this is service plain and simple. This dealership has exceptional service and Wendel is out and out by far the best salesperson I have ever dealt with on anything I have bought.
Living in Tampa, FL and finding the preowned Mercedes Benz at Jackson Automotive Group was a great Experience, Richard Lowry took the time necessary and more to make us comfortable and make sure everything was right. Great people at the service, parts, and administration. Excellent all around, highly recommended.
Wendel Nelson was such a huge help to us as we were searching for the perfect birthday gift for our mom. He introduced us to the perfect vehicle for her and we were sold!!! Wendel was not only an effective salesman but also very personable. We thoroughly enjoyed doing business with Wendel Nelson, David Morgan, and Jackson Automotive.
I ditto completely Kathy Prisants comments. We too worked with Tony Deerman at Jackson Automotive Group. His customer service was superb. We knew the features we were interested in on the GLE 350 SUV. We had lots of questions and his knowledge of the product put us at great ease. Tony and the entire team working to locate the vehicle that we wanted, was over the top. The business end of the deal was handled also with top notch professionalism. I would recommend Jackson Automotive and Tony Deerman to anyone that I know that might be looking for a Mercedes or Volvo.
Split decision - Internet price was fair, but still had to pay the dealer fees. Car had a problem that they knew about and told me before I started the car, but they fixed and delivered as promised. The internet ads said the car had a sunroof, heated seats and a sub-woofer, did not have any of these. The window sticker also said it had navigation and a sub-woofer, not there. Bigger disappointment was they said it had 2 sets of keys, it did not, and they would not provide. All things that would have been good to know before driving 1.5 hours. They claim bait and switch is not what we do here, you can decide.
I could not be more excited about my experience with Jim Pensyl at Jackson Mercedes! I am a slow decision maker about most things and a car purchase is no exception. Jim was informative, patient and helpful. He went with me to test drive the GLE 350 each time I wanted to compare my experience to driving a BMW x5 , Lexus and Acura!!! After driving my new Mercedes to Charleston and Atlanta this week I know I made the correct decision. If you are antiipating a new car purchase in the near future please see my friend Jim Pensyl at Jackson Automotive. I know you will appreciate his professional and cheerful guidance. He makes shopping for a car a great experience.Maureen Persons
Love is a Subaru from Jackson AutomotiveJackson Automotive treats you like family. Richard Lowry takes great care of you from the showroom to the final step of taking ownership of your new vehicle. Jamie Meeks ensures your vehicle is properly maintained in the service department. I would not purchase a Subaru from any other dealership. They are AWESOME!
For the last few months, I had been in search for a new Mercedes Benz SUV; and was in between the GLA and GLK models. Because I live in Alabama, I stretched my search over a 250 mile radius; and was led to Jackson Automotive. I was in total awe with the customer service. Mike Apperson, Sales, was courteous at our first encounter. He walked the lot with me; and when I was not ready to commit to buying, he did not exasperate. He listened and understood my needs and what I wanted in a SUV [features]; and he remained patient as I asserted my desires in a new vehicle. When the perfect GLK 350 [2014] arrived on the lot, Mike contacted me and it was the SUV that I actually bought. I enjoyed working with Mike because of his attentiveness, patience, courtesy, and professionalism. Mike was on point when he found the right SUV for me; and that was all because of his concern for my interest. Robert Lee, Management, and Scott Chambers, General Sales Manager, were both great to work with as well. Awesome experience, above and beyond my expectations; and I have every intention of buying my new sedan next year from Jackson Automotive.
So far so GREAT with Tony Deerman at Jackson Automotive Group and my new VOLVO S60!! What great customer service during the hunt and during the sale. Tony is a first class guy with extreme professionalism. I recommend this group and this fella to one and all looking for a great Volvo, Mercedes Benz, etc. Thanks again Tony and Jackson Automotive...keep up the good work!!
James Snow is a very knowledgeable salesman. He worked with me to help me build the car I wanted. Even though I had many questions along the way; he was very patient with me. Now that I am a proud owner of a 2018 E300 Sport, I am sure, I will have more questions for James.
For simple service such as oil changes or seasonal inspections, they take way too long. It shouldnt take 3 hours to get an oil change, especially when the customer is waiting there for the service to be complete. This reflects poor schedule management. Despite this, they are courteous and communicative about the service they provide
First off, I am a life-long Mercedes driver and have dealt with sever Mercedes Service Departments in several states across the US. Unfortunately I have to say that this was by far my WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I called Jackson Automotive attempting to reach their service department. The first two calls I was routed through the phone system that left me choosing random voicemails that wouldnt let me leave a message. I finally reached an operator on my third call, but she transferred me to the same broken voicemail. When I called back she rudely cut me off and kept transferring me to the same message. I finally threw a fit to her and she said hold on and then transferred me to the voicemail of Jamie in the internet sales department. It was a total of 10 phone calls over 20 minutes before I finally reached someone, only to be told I have to wait nearly 10 days before they had any available time to service my car.Worst customer Service, No Availability. Go to Atlanta, its not worth the sloppy business here. Frankly, Mercedes should bee ashamed that this is who they have representing their brand.
We recently purchased a certified pre owned Mercedes ML from Jim Penysl at Mercedes Benz of Macon. Jim exceeded our customer service expectations from the moment we met. He was pleasant, full of energy and eager to answer every questions we threw at him. We purchased the car that night and have been very pleased with our decision.Jim has been available to answer questions as they have risen since the sale. He always follows up and is always quick to get back to us.Our shopping experience was a pleasure. I would highly recommend Jim Penysl at Mercedes Benz of Macon.Jim Pensyl
This dealership is THE absolute worst when it comes to customer service and paperwork. I drove 3 hours for what I thought was a good price. They didnt have me sign in the right place on the check so they sent it to me and called me repeatedly for me to sign and return it. They sent the check to the wrong address so I had to make another drive to go pick it up. I was given the temporary, 45 day tag and I was told the paperwork would be sent to my local DMV. My DMV didnt have the paperwork so I was given another temporary tag. I had to make several calls to them, all of which went unanswered. After I left a voicemail, I received a call back saying they would overnight it..... 2 months to get paperwork that the STILL sent to the wrong DMV.
Thank you Kerri😀😀😁😁I love my new XC90 T6. I appreciate your hard work. You helped me select the vehicle of my dreams. Kerri at Jackson Automotive got me the car I wanted. Picked me up and made the buying process easy. Thanks Phillip for finalizing the deal. Another happy customer!!🤠🤠🤠 ABT aka Bessie B. Boutit
Mr Jim Pensyl greeted me in the parking lot with a smile very professional and polite. He was well knowledgeable of the Mercedes that i did purchased and is very pleased with all of the services. I would definitely purchase again and recommend others to Jackson and Mr. Jim Pensyl. Thanks for everything.Mr & Mrs. Mackey
Drove 3hrs to this place ready to buy a pre-owned mercedes Sales Rep didnt even bother to even try to negotiate with the pricing at all plus the car had a very noticeable ding on the bumper and he still didnt want to budge on the price. He missed a sale I guess he thought I couldnt afford the car.
I am always delighted with the service at Jackson. Adam Abramo is my adviser and he takes good care of me and my MB. The only downside is the very high costs of required maintenance for the particular models I own. But Adam works as much as he can to minimize that impact and to work around my schedule.
I went to the service department today around 8:30 am. I was told since I didnt have history in 4- 5 years that they could not work on my car.. I was even given a business that works on Mercedes about 15 mins away..When do you need history to fix a window that wont roll down? I informed him that I didnt drive my car hardly at all..He still denied me service...Horrible service.
They always over charge and most of the time they even dont know the real issue, they just guessing. They work on issue which is not relevant and charge for that, even after that if issue not solved then they will look at again and they will charge again.... if you have an issue with your vehicle I will recommend to go somewhere else.

2021-11-20I have never been a Mercedes person, however Kevin Lewis changed that. He was awesome and got me the best trade in deal possible. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I will recommend him to everyone!

2022-07-05Were leasing a 2022 Subaru Outback. We totaled our 2007 Saturn in October. We visited Jackson dealership and they took very good care of us. They had a meeting with food and a talk to educate us about our Outback and answers to any questions. They own it and keep up when it needs service. Hows that for service?!!! Wow!

2022-03-08My first purchase here was many years ago and it was perfect. This time was not as great. They were not honest and acted like they were doing me a favor. My biggest current concern is with the service department inconsistency. My first service after purchase I was told I needed to get new wipers. When I went for the second service a year later it was not mentioned. The first service I was quoted a price of $248 for a minor repair and over $500 a year later. I understand a little bit of inflation, but that’s a little much. They also have no idea when they can even get the part. I didn’t get a reply when I asked if they could install of I found it.I love my car, but this recent experience has made me wish I had another dealer closer.

2022-05-12I find this to be a very respectable dealership. I didnt too much care for one of the sales managers but my salesperson was quite knowledgeable and helpful. His name is John. Go buy a car from him!

2022-08-08Got the MB for a good price… UPDATE: after the purchase it was like being pushed to the side, made several calls to the dealership about where was our paperwork that we signed at the purchase, General Mgr never return our calls or the financial services!

2018-02-07I recently purchased a 2018 GLC 300 from Jackson Automotive Mercedes. Overall, I had a great experience and am ecstatic with my decision. My sales associate, Richard, was professional and relaxed. I am grateful that he gave me honest, objective comments and opinions. Most importantly, I never once felt like he would sell me a vehicle that I did not absolutely love. The negotiation process was pretty straightforward. I am no easy person to negotiate with, but Richard remained very calm and respectful. We worked with Gene, the sales manager, for the better part of an hour and a half to ensure that all parties came to a happy medium. One relatively small hiccup is that I did not have a Georgia driver’s license at the time. The dealership guaranteed me that they would hold the vehicle for me until I was able to transfer my driver’s license to Georgia the next week (I originally visited on the weekend). After transferring my license, I returned to the dealership a couple of days later to complete the purchase paperwork and pick up the vehicle. This process was even more seamless than my first visit. I was in and out in about an hour. After all has been said and done, I can absolutely say that Richard worked very hard with Gene to ensure that I walked away with a SUV I love.

2022-02-13The Jackson team was so helpful. The customer service and kindness of the employees was top tier. From service to sales, everyone was very helpful and kind. The receptionist always has a positive attitude and is happy to help. Everyone was very knowledgeable and answered my questions. If they didn’t know, they got someone else who could help me.

2021-11-27The staff in all departments are absolutely great. They were very helpful in finding a car I wanted not a car they could sell quickly. They talked me through the entire wait list/online hold system they were having to deal with since the car shortage occurred while I was trying to buy a car. They have made sure I love my car ever since I bought it also. It is very much and experience that someone wanting to buy a car would enjoy.
