I went today for my birthday, my friend accompanied me, she has never been to a Sauna and it was my first time to one like this. And I must say, I was pleasantly surprised and I really enjoyed it. I believe though the staff at the desk could be more informative especially for first timers. We didnt get a chance to eat but the food smelt good. Overall the environment and ladies there were pleasant and friendly and the place was clean which is a huge plus. Best Sauna experience we have ever had and I will be back. Especially since I did some research and now aware of the health benefits.
You dont want to miss this experience. There are shocker moments but dont let that scare you. It is worth it. You can get scrubbed so clean or soak in the saunas. You can also get your nails done, swim, workout, and a few other things. I am telling you it is a great experience. I rate 4 only because sometimes the scrub can be too hard. But you can request softer.
Today was my 2nd time here. It is a Thursday at noon and much less crowded than my 1st time on a Saturday. The first day I got there, I asked a worker in the locker room where everything was, and she happily directed me. I had a very calming experience today- until around 4pm when a group of loud kids were in the common area knocking on the windows of the saunas. The food was pretty good & I was able to meditate and relax since I got there early. The wet area was clean and not crowded. When I come back, Ill get the massage and scrub. Overall, very pleasant experience 👍😊
It was my first time visiting this place. I was uncomfortable at first being naked with other men in the spy tub. Everyone in the seems to be focus on what they were there for. I observed few guys checking me out. However, I was never approached in anyway of form to make me uncomfortable. I slept like a baby that night. I am definitely going to recommend this place. The environment is very relaxing and clean.
My first time here and it was amazing. I surprised my wife and took her there for Valentines Day weekend. This place is definitely a great experience rather solo, a couple or group. Youll go in there, enjoy the entire place and completely forget about the outside world. Well be back sooner than later.
I really enjoyed my time here. There was an awesome nail salon and restaurant on site in addition to the amazing spa. My favorite sauna was the charcoal. Just the right amount of heat. I got the body shampoo, massage and cucumber mask. It was amazing. My skin was glowing afterwards. Please don’t hesitate to try it. I even brought my 12-year-old daughter with me.
If you want to relax and vibe out with friends or even by yourself, this is the place to go. When you check in, you can be there for 24 hours after that point. There are 7 different saunas, a pool, a gym, a massage area, a restaurant, a nail salon, etc. My friend and I did the hip bath, and the after effects were very refreshing. I have been here several times, and I love this place
My absolute favorite spa experience! It is totally worth it. Spending time in each hut/room and enjoying some of the added commodities is a wonderful way to relax and if you need to you can spread it out over multiple days since there is a sleeping room and restaurant in the facilities as well! This is always a great experience and its better with friends or your family.
An incredible experience. The facility is spotless, the towels were clean, everything smelled either neutral or clean with a hint of eucalyptus. If it’s your first time they’ll give you a tour which is helpful if you aren’t familiar with everything. I went at a busier time and still didn’t feel like i was crowded by people. The heated tile floors were such a nice touch that I wasn’t expecting. I can’t wait to go back and try out some of the additional services offered.
I did the hip bath, facial, body scrub, massage, sauna, and jacuzzi. I loved all of it. You’ll leave feeling 5lbs lighter after the scrub. The only thing I didn’t like was that I’d prefer to be in a more quiet, calm, spa like area when getting my massage. I couldn’t focus on relaxing because you’re right in the room with the people in pool area and they were loud. Even the worker calling numbers for people to receive services was loud. Not very relaxing. But I’d go back still.
I love this place. Not as big as the one I used to go to in New Jersey, but it is still quite large (muuuuuch bigger than it looks on the outside)! All the typical amenities are present, and the body scrubs are outstanding. Everyone was polite and helpful. I’m not here to write a guide but I noticed a few reviews that said the staff were rude, and I want to address a possible reason. Please be aware before you go that there are a few areas that are designated quiet areas, and this includes the hot tubs because they are next to the body scrub area. If you are being noisy with your friends, they will ask you as many times as is necessary to be quiet for the sake of the other customers. Like every other local business, this place lives on its regular clients, not big groups that come twice a year. Be respectful of the culture and they will love you to pieces.
Celebrating? Sad and need to get away? Need a day for self-care? This is one of my most favorite spots in the world so far. They have a mens and womens area. They have an ice. Medium and hot tubs to soak, as well as a wet and dry sauna. They offer many different services like nails, wax, massage. Body scrub( highly recommend) yoni steams as well as other things. They dont allow you to wear clothes in this areas but they provide an outfit to go into the public area. They have a pool and maybe 8 more dry saunas with different temperatures and minerals along with the walls that have different benefits. Its open 24/7 and there is so much parking. Bring some workout clothes for the gym and a book to read after! Come kick back relax, take a nap! And drive home relaxed!
All I have to say is where is Nancy the best masseuse that was working there. I really didnt have a great experience this time around. My deep tissue massage was subpar, doesnt seem to be experienced. Nothing like the massage I experienced with Nancy. The reflexology foot massage was not a great experience. Dont waste your money. I thought I was going to have a relaxing time instead I had someone shaking my legs forcefully not a massage kind of way, with my face covered. And the men working in the area was chatting too much and loudly. Jeju needs to reevaluate this foot massage area including the not so friendly and inviting front desk area staff. I have been going to Jeju for many years, and every year on my birthday. I have to say that this was the worst experience. Ill take my money elsewhere.
Man oh man.I’ve occasionally visited this place numerous times since 2010- but after today, I might not ever come back. The amount of overcrowded people here at the sauna is enough to deter you away. Upon checking in, the only uniform sizes available were large- red flag. Upon walking into the locker rooms, dirty towels are just thrown on the ground instead of put in designated areas, piled in a corner, or sitting in piles on the benches- unsanitary and another red flag. Can’t even get in the hot tubs because there’s too many people. The rule for getting into the hot tubs at this place is to take a shower (with soap) before you get in- yet I’ve seen several people bypass this rule, get naked, and proceed in. Unsanitary. Where’s the spa attendants? Busy cleaning up other people’s messes. Food? It’s okay. Nothing to write home about-but the couple at the counter do their best given the hoards of people that come here now. Have fun being able to “sleep where you want” with people walking over you/ stepping on you occasionally instead of around you in the common area. Why not sleep in the sauna rooms? Good luck- there’s people snoring, talking (not whispering), and people constantly opening the sauna door going in and out- you’re still able to hear everything that goes on in the common area. “Quiet Time” for people to sleep at night isn’t a thing anymore. 2am and people are still having loud conversations, kids running around being loud (why is your 6yo kid here and still awake?) and the lady at the food counter is practically screaming people’s order numbers. It’s now 8 am and someone’s alarm is constantly going off with a handful of people waking up going back to normal conversations- disregarding the 30+ other people still sleeping. There’s no respect here. Manager doesn’t even do anything about it. Relaxing? No. I’ve so far gotten only 3 hours of sleep and now have a stiff neck/back. The only thing relaxing at this place now is just being able to take a hot shower with great water pressure or pay ridiculously high prices for a massage. What use to be a mini-retreat is now an uncomfortable experience. You still want to come here? Bring your own pillow, blanket, and some earplugs. You’re gonna need it.
Oh, what a cool place to go get some relaxation and body recover work done. Ive always loved saunas so it was neat to experience a few different types of saunas. The salt room was my favorite and the hot/cold plunge was also super beneficial for some physical recover. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star is that uniforms for the coed area are a bit off putting and weird IMO.
Today was my third or fourth time coming to this spa. My previous experiences were much better. I always get the body scrub which is fantastic, but today the lady that did my scrub was extremely rude. Although there is a language barrier her tone and actions were very condescending. If was if she didn’t want to do my scrub. She was almost yelling at me at one point to move up and tapped me in my face ! She roughly moved me around the entire time . She constantly spoke over me in her language which her tone was if she was insulting me. I may not know what she was saying but I definitely will remember how she made me feel. Like a piece of meat like she didn’t want to be bothered with me. I’m a large women, but very confident in my body. Her actions made me not want to ever come back. She did smile at me when she asked for a tip several times. The nerve.
This is the second time Ive come up to Jeju. I really enjoy it, its a very relaxing way to spend some vacation time. Very clean, very affordable entry fee. I suggest bringing a large cup or water bottle to refill, a yoga mat to sit on, some socks because you cannot have shoes and the floors can get hot in the saunas. Bring a swimsuit because the swimming pool is co-ed. Be prepared for SMALL towels, bring your own if you want to. Maybe a book and a blanket. The food is really good here! The Ra Mun soup is delish, get the pork belly! Its spicy but really good. Some detractors: The warm and hot pools in the ladies area are very similar in temperature, so much so that it is hard to tell the difference between the temperatures. I dont like the tipping system (or how aggressive they are). This is supposed to be a cash-less system, but Im supposed to carry a pocket of $20 to tip people? This needs to be addressed because its awkward and really pulls you out of your relaxed state when the massage person almost demands their tip afterward and shoves an envelope in your hand. The only other thing is the YELLING. There is constant yelling. Workers screaming out the numbers for the person thats up next really disturbs the peace and tranquility. When youre in the clay sauna or the charcoal sauna you hear the massage attendant shouting out the numbers for the people to come get their massages. When youre in the jewel sauna you hear the restaurant yelling out order numbers. In the ladies wet room their constantly shouting out numbers for the steams and scrubs. Its disturbing when youre trying to relax. I suggest a buzzer system like most restaurants have, this would solve all of the noise issues. 8/10 and would recommend.
Jeju has lost the authentic spa experience for anyone who wants to relax and rejuvenate. It is NOT quiet, NOT serene, NOT pleasant anymore. This is based on my past 4 visits there since I started going over 10 years ago. Peoples children are allowed to run around unsupervised including being loud, rude and rowdy. If you want a loud, disrespectful and disruptive spa experience, then this is for you. Also, the locker rooms are not tidy and lack privacy. Patrons were observed using their phones for taking pictures and videos when nude people are walking in and out of the wet area. The private area no longer seems private. Trash was often observed on benches and on the floor. The bathrooms are not as clean as they used to be. I have been very disappointed in the Jeju Sauna and Spa experience. Body scrubs are still good (Hence the 2 star rating instead of 1). I Do Not recommend to my friends and family anymore. If you want a genuine spa experience, I suggest that you PLEASE go elsewhere. This is just my opinion.
Why a wonderful first time experience for me and my wife. We were nervous at first about be nude but it’s all about being comfortable with yourself and then you relax. The massage was great and the sauna rooms were great too. The food was even good. We will attend once a month now💯
Not a big sauna person, but the first visit was so relaxing. No shoes allowed inside, so there are two separate lockers...one for your shoes, and one larger one for everything else. Floors are heated though, which is a huge plus. IF YOU DO NOTHING ELSE DURING YOUR VISIT, the body scrub is a must! Worth every penny.
Amazing place to relax. My husband and I read as much as we could before going to this place. Soooo worth it! It was a fun splurge day for us.We went on a Wednesday afternoon. We tried out ALL of the saunas in the shared/coed area. Our favorite was the sea salt sauna. Definitely the hottest! (Hubs liked the ice room, but thats not my jam. Haha)We were bummed there was only a pool in the coed area. We were hoping to relax in a hot tub together, but no dice.We got a couples massage and it was very relaxing. The spotlight for me, though, was the foot reflexology. It was AMAZING. Ive had it done many times before, but I cannot stress how relaxing and absolutely incredible it was. Definitely the best Ive ever had.My husband and I parted ways to go to the locker rooms and hang out in the naked areas. It was my first time dressing down like that and I loved it!There are no clocks, and no phones allowed, so it was hard to keep track of time, but it was nice to relax in a hot tub and areas with only women. I did take a towel to sit on in the steam room.Overall, amazing experience. We spent 4 hours there. If we have extra money in the future, we are definitely going back!
I would highly recommend this place. The staff was pleasant and Makayla gave us an excellent tour, explained everything to us and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. The initial shock of seeing other women in the nude wore off in about 15 seconds, dont let that stop you. I enjoyed the body shampoo, facial, massage , foot reflexology and many of the saunas and hot tub. Money well spent and Im excited to return again. We stayed for about 5 hours and enjoyed ever second. We all came out feeling renewed and refreshed.

2022-01-29What can you not say about this place?! Positive energy, sauna and bath house, full service restaurant with fresh food EVERYDAY, self-care amenities, exercise room and a SMOKE ROOM! Ultimate relaxation at your fingertips and 24 hour access for the low price of $35! Amenities are additional but you cannot beat their deals. The staff stay on-site so cleanliness is always A1 especially during these times. Not too large of a crowd where you can enjoy yourself. Always come back for past 2 years🙏🏾That recharge always does the trick!

2022-04-24If your looking to relax at an affordable price this is the place. First off they are open 24/7 and $30 entry. They offered so many add on treatments on top of all they free amenities. Multiple saunas, pools, steam rooms, cold tubs, red light therapy and so much more is included in the entry fee. There is a male and female side with nude bath house. And they serve food, such an amazing experience

2022-01-14I’ve been to JeJu twice and have had enjoyable visits each time. The communal feel, body positivity and accessibility of this Korean style bath house was not something I had experienced before. The French mask & shampoo was worth it ( it was on special at the time ) . The Hip bath was an aromaticand interesting experience ( ladies, try it at-least once ) . The locker room, common spaces and spa area were clean and welcoming . The hour long foot massage available in the common area was good but I’ll save my money for the spa specific services in the future. The food options are delicious and the bulgogi I had was definitely the best tasting I’ve personally had.

2022-03-16I was nervous coming here, but Im glad that I did. I got a full body shampoo which is actually a full body (minus the face) exfoliating scrub. It felt amazing, I was shocked at how much dead skin came off. $35 for the general population to enter gives you access to various saunas including charcoal, salt, baked clay, steam, crystal and even a cold sauna. There is also a jacuzzi, a hot pool and a cold pool. Everyone is instructed to wash with soap before and in-between so thats nice. They also have a swimming pool, gym, bail salon and massage parlors. I thought it was cool that the wrist bands are scanned for meals and other add-ons so you just pay once upon leaving.I did have a issue with the cleanliness of the place. There was hair in the drains for the showers which was not cool. The food options in my opinion were awful. It doesnt make sense to eat fried pork cutlets and fries at a wellness spa, definitely counter-intuitive. I also think that they could have done a better job at refilling the blankets.I have been here for 5 hours now. Im not sure where the time went. I may sleep here though and I wouldnt be the only one.

2021-12-28Went here just to experience the sleeping experience. What I didnt like and was uncomfortable with was the naked people. Thats just not an environment for me, nor is it something I would probably do again. The floors are heated and it was extremely difficult for me to sleep. Just not something for me. Cant knock it til u try it; I tried it.

2021-10-26We absolutely loved this place! Everything you would expect in a spa, they have it. Everything is accessible and everyone I encountered for help were helpful. When getting a massage, it is in very relaxing environment. The different temperature saunas are great and fit everyones need. We will definitely be going back. But if you are shy undressed around the same gender this is not the place for you.

2021-09-20I went today as my first time. They have all need to feel relaxed. I got the shampoo scrub and the deep tissue massage. I exercise and didn’t feel worthy 100$ , now the scrub was on point. They have showers and the dry and wet sauna on the ladies area where u have to be naked. I’m definitely coming back soon. I didn’t eat nothing from the restaurant. Someone recommended the pineapple smoothie. The hace nail salon and waxing too. Open 24/7.

2022-04-18Very nice spot, came in for a self care day. The locker rooms are split. There will be lots of naked guys in the locker room, after 10-15 mins it wont matter anymore. Got a massage... Exactly what I needed, I didnt realize I was so tense. The food looks good, reasonably priced, Ill try it out next time. The sauna, steam room, hot tub, all were incredible. Very clean, that was very surprising, someone was constantly cleaning the common areas. I checked out the smoke room, once again I was surprised, I didnt smell anything, I dont know what air filtration system they have there, but some cigar lounges dont have one as good as the spa had. Im definitely going back, a good way to treat myself to a well deserved self care day.
