Jersey Mikes Subs in other cities:
I ordered a chicken parmesan hot sub. It took 15 minutes....That was not the problem even though I was the only person in line. The chicken was soft and not fully warmed. The tomato sauce was bland and the cheese was not fully melted. I went back to try to get my money back or an exchange. The manager told the cashier to tell me that there was nothing they could do.
This location is amazing now that theyre under new ownership & management. The prior owners were bat ship crazy & hopefully that loony bird Tammy is gone. The quality of the food is so much better! Im so happy to now have a quality Jersey Mikes in North Columbus. Great job!
I visited the restaurant near Bradley Park Drive in Columbus, GA.Upon entering, the staff was friendly. The restaurant was very clean. The sandwich was really good. My only quarrel is the price. Now this is a franchise, so this isnt anything to do with the restaurant I visited but I do feel the need to call it out for those of you reading this who may have not been to Jersey Mikes before. I ordered a regular (they have mini, regular, and giant size on most sandwiches) Italian. I made it a combo so I got the sandwich, a small bag of chips and a drink. It cost nearly $12.00 for this combo. So, a little on the pricey side when comparing to say Firehouse or Subway. Food was great though.Overall, if you do not mind a pricey sub, I would recommend.
The food has always been great. However, today was the first day my order was made incorrectly. The management on duty didnt even come to my assistance when I attempted to address my issue. Had an employee handle the situation with a very rude attitude towards me as a consumer. If you expect good customer service and be treated like a good customer dont go to Jersey Mikes on Rollins Way.
I am a regular customer that appreciates a good Philly Cheesesteak. Today was one the best so far thanks to the Chef, Tyler. His attention to detail as to how I wanted my sandwich was superb. I come to the store at least once a week. Please pass on my thanks for a job well done.Kerry Johnson.
Service was extremely slow. They have a sign taped up saying they are short staffed and to please be patient, but there were 3 behind the counter and a 4th sitting at a table looking at his cell phone. The ones behind the counter were moving in slow motion and didnt seem to be concerned about people waiting. It took me over 20 minutes to get my sandwich after they rang me up.
Speaking as someone who comes in regularly, I’m giving this a three because the food is always good and they keep everything very clean. The service isn’t necessarily bad but it is inefficient. You’re fine if you go when it’s not very busy. But if you go while they get rushed... you might as well go somewhere else. You’ll wait 20-30 minutes for sandwiches the line will get scrambled with people paying first then going back to add toppings, and if you order a hot sandwich, it will take a while for them to make it, and they may even forget to tell you it’s ready. (This has happened to me at least twice). So basically I quit going if I even think it might be busy. I think this could all be improved and hope that it will because the food is quite good and the potential for great service is there but right now, it needs a lot of improvement.
I been here before and the messed up my order. They honored it before without bring the sub in. This is because I live 30 minutes away from the location. Same situation had happened again, but this time I ordered online. When I got home sub was not correct. Wasted $17 because I throw the sub away. I wasnt driving 30mins back up there at night. Now the say I was put in the book, but they do not want to honor their mess up. Do not do business with Jersey Mikes on Rollins Columbus, GA. Bad business.
WILL DEFINITELY RETURN! This was the first time my husband and I have ever tried Jersey Mikes. Im sure we looked like it, because an employee asked if this was our first visit. He was very friendly and gave us a whole run down on the menu. As we were finishing up our order, a older couple was leaving. They reassured us that this was a great place and we would be back. They were absolutely right! Hands down some of the best subs in Columbus. Better than Subway or Jimmy Johns. The food is on the pricey side, but worth it!
The sub was okay but nothing spectacular very limited items to be able to put on it lettuce tomatoes onions are you and peppers. Really thought Subway sandwiches were much better. This was the first time trying their sub sandwiches at the Columbus store and will be the last
Staff was courteous and being my 1st time at this chain, I was taking my time. The gentleman behind the counter took his time to explain everything to me in great detail and was proud about the quality of meets and cheeses they offer. The #13 Was fantastic, way better than other sub places. I wish people in customer service jobs were more like him. Being kind and courteous goes a long way. Thanks.
I went to Jersey Mikes on Rollins Way in Columbus, GA with my family on Sunday 2/10/19 and we had a great experience. All of the staff was very friendly and our food was not only delicious but fast and fresh.Typically with a younger staff they tend to lax but everyone was patient, sweet, and exhibited excellent teamwork. The Manager Monique definitely runs a great shift because everyone was smiling and gave the appearance of a great place to work. Very positive representation of how a company should be ran. Im Impressed and we will be back soon.
This was my first visit to jersey mikes and I promise you I will NOT go back. I presented a coupon for 1/2 off a regular sub and 50% off any second regular sub. They would not give me the discount but swore thay they did. I couldnt make them understand simple math. This type of business is uncalled for!!
I go here almost every single week, due to killer pregnancy cravings and my already limited diet because of my endocrine issues. Out of the dozens of times I have been here, Ive only had one or two negative experiences that definitely werent bad enough OR consistent enough to qualify for a negative review. The customer service is outstanding, two to three of the employees know my order by heart because I visit so frequently, and Im never NOT greeted with a smile or a friendly employee! The food is outstanding, fresh, and top notch quality! Even before I became a regular, my level of satisfaction with this establishment has always been high. If you ever come here and they are slammed busy, have patience, because the meal is definitley worth the wait. My only complaint is that they dont wear nametags so I cant call them out on a fantastic job!
What’s the point of ordering through the App when the cashier doesn’t grab the order ticket from the receipt printer machine so they can make you’re order before you get their. I had to wait for my Order to be ready even though I ordered 15 mins before I got there. I’m frustrated with the cashier completely but the manager on duty or the manager had my order out with in 5-7 mins. But there wasn’t no hey we are sorry or nothing. Next time I will just go to another sandwich place.
My girlfriend suggested we try Jersey Mikes and I am glad I listened. The restaurant is clean and the natural lighting makes it feel very spacious and welcoming. The food was really tasty, we both had 15 hot subs I had the Chipotle Cheese Steak and she had the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak, both sandwiches were prepared to perfection...not dry, not soggy, but just juicy enough to add flavor and texture without making a messWill definitely return to this location.
The first time I went there it was great but as I contuined to go the service began to fail. Once they didnt get my order correct, another time they ran out of bread how can a restaurant that specializes in sandwiches run out of bread. The staff use to be very friendly but the personnel they are hiring now does not provide good customer service at all, they arent friendly nor do they have any patience. I once attempted to call in an order and was told they were too busy to take my order. I think thats crazy for a restaurant. I dont go to them as frequently as I use to. Actually I havent been there in a while and to think I gave up subway for them. Im now going back to subway sometimes but my main sandwich place now is publix where I get EXCELLENT customer service and great food.
I am currently sitting at this location, have been now for 30 minutes!!!!!!! Only 2 customers in from of me. A party of six came in 15 minutes after my fiancé and I and have all gotten their food. Only thing I’ve heard are excuses that the grill boy has a bad attitude and will probably be getting fired. Horrible way to run a business. Slow as hell and down their employees to customers. Don’t get me wrong everyone was friendly but come on now!
I used to work at a Jersey Mikes in Opelika, Al. The quality of the food & even the service that my husband & I received from the Columbus, Ga store was by far substandard. I went through a 2wk training & instantly I could tell that not 1 of the employees on staff that day had done this. The cook, the slicer, the maker, the wrapper, & even the cashier all were of young age. I never saw an older person there & we dined in for lunch. And I know that this isnt enough to deserve a bad review in itself but that lead into a horrible sandwich. It was a giant 13 & a regular chicken salad. Both were horrible. Not to mention that the total came to a staggering $34 +change! Thats just adding 2 drinks, 1 chip, & 1 cookie. I was absolutely shocked w the whole thing. I will probably find another place for lunch next time we work in Columbus, Ga.
Food is good but the guy who sliced the sandwich meat expressed his displeasure when I paid in cash because he had to take off his gloves. Sorry? Get over it. THEN he gets an attitude when I didnt tip him the change from my transaction. He intentionally took his time counting my change so Id just say keep it. Then was nasty when I held my hand out for the change. Why would I tip for an attitude? Seriously? Get over yourself.
I dont know her name but there is a girl with red hair and glasses that works at this location who makes bomb subs. Additionally, she is super polite. She helped an elderly man with his refill and then safely to his car. She needs a raise. #covidcustomerservice #promotiontime #yasgirl
This one can be hit or miss. Mainly in the service aspect. Food usually is always the same which is good but really I mean its always high school kids who really dont know what work is and how to have customer service. Had to lower the stars because the staff is just awful. Honestly what is going on?!?!! We wont be going back. Enough is enough. If they want business then they need to act like they actually want to work!!!!! Get your act together seriously!
Horrible staff, dont know their own menu, wont take one meat off a multi meat sub but will have you order a different sub and upcharge you to have said sub. Give you receipt to give to cashier, then walks over to cashier and gives her piece of paper??? Like what the hell want me to make my own damn samich and have you eat it.
My philly was pretty good. But there over priced. Especially kids meal was a 4in sandwich that had only 1 slice of meat and cheese a 6oz. Drink w cup, and a cookie. No your not allowed to get chips. Lord forbid u actually trying to fill the little guy up. And with something besides sugar.
If I could rate this place a quarter star or no stars at all I would. The staff is un professional and extremely rude! I went in to inquire about wheather or not they recieved my online order, the response I got was ,well he is early and he can wait. Mind you it was only myself and 1 other couple when I went in so they definatley werent busy nor am I saying that would be a good excuse for their behavior. The 2 females that were there that I believe were supervisors were treating the other employees with zero respect. My experience while there was very uncomfortable and just all out bad. Not to mention it was not very clean.
Love jersey Mikes they have the best subs however Im very disappointed they have not got on board with the watir app delivery service. It is such a disadvantage for those who cannot make it to them. Lots of money being lost. I have even called to speak with manger in regards to suggestions and still owner has not got on board. 😒
Jersey Mikes is the only place Ill pay to get a sub sandwich. The meat and cheese ingredients are sliced right in front if you, the bread is fresh and delicious, and Ive never had a bad sandwich there. It can get a little spendy when compared to fast food places, but its well worth it for the quality of food you get at JM.
Wow, it has been a while since Ive eaten at a Jerseys Mikes. My memory of past times makes me think of fully loaded sandwiches with lots of meet and cheese. However, these sandwiches were purchased from Irmo Sc. My memory had me wanting a sandwich when I drove by the store so I turned around and went in. Was I surprised when I received three pieces of cheese cut so thin that there were holes in the middle, and only three pieces of meet. This sandwich was mostly bread. Truly disappointed by Jersey Mikes and at this pace, SUBWAY provides more meat and a better sandwich.
A M A Z I N G ! Wife was starving but didnt want the usual burger or chicken. She suggested sandwiches but did not want the same old underground train sub. So we pulled up to Jersey Mikes. First timers and the owner could tell. He came from behind back and gave us the VIP treatment. He made everything sound so delicious that we were slobbering. She tried the #17 Famous Cheesesteak and I had the #13 Original Italian. They were both fantastic subs. We definitely found a hidden gem and will return (sooner than later).
Ate the chipotle steak and cheese - not the best quality steak and portion size relied on bread to fill your stomach - needed more steak even if it wasnt the best. Ive eaten the other sandwiches before from other stores. I will go back because those are good sandwiches.
Celiac and Gluten Allergy people rejoice! Not only do they carry Udis Gluten Free Bread, but they take your needs seriously. Ordered a sandwich with the Udis bread just to try it out, and the staff immediately asked if I was Celiac or had an allergy or if it was just a preference. They told me that they were prepared and happy to swap out cutting boards, tools, and everything to make sure it was completely safe. Glad to know they are ready to help.In other news the sandwiches are always fresh and tasty. The Cheesesteaks are fantastic and the Italian is hard to beat.
Jersey Mikes hits me on a personal level having relocated to Georgia from New Jersey. However, this facility does not meet Jersey Mikes standards. This store is slow, and usually understaffed. The sliced deli items are too thin. The cashier was also adding the fixings to the sandwiches and had to rewrap a sandwich 8 times before she realized the pre cut paper had been cut too short. She finally caught on and grabbed more paper. It took far too long for a mediocre meal from a place I considered to be one of my favorites.
ITS THE PRINCIPLE!!! First, I ordered online...online indicated my order would be ready at 5:13pm...It was 5:23pm when I arrived. There were a few customers dining in, a couple cashing out, and 2 others waiting in line to order. Ok... the lady acknowledged me stating, You had an online order? I, of course said, yes. She tells me it will be a minute the person who is suppose on the grill hasnt arrived yet. I like ok... always excuses. Smh...Not my problem I ordered online and was given a time that it would be ready. So, now she ask me is white ok. Im like excuse me. Now, they tell me not only that they havent made my sandwich, but they are out of wheat bread. Smdh... doesnt make any sense. I told her I just rather get my money back. So, she had a nasty attitude like I ruined her day. HA! So, I asked her why couldnt they call me? With a nasty attitude she claim they just ran out. Really?. Im 10 mins. Late picking it up. You werent that busy. Just lazy and sorry. She didnt want to apologize. Poor baby... GET OVER IT! When you mess up in your line of work and based on how you work. Get use to it...But there are other places to eat. I will just have to write this one off. Due to poor service. Thank you Jersey Mikes in Columbus, Ga for not wasting my well earned money. Yeah, you probably like... its just a sandwich. But its was MY SANDWICH!
Being born and raised in New Jersey, I know Jersey style hoagies (that southerners down here call subs). The Philly cheesesteak, the Philly chicken, and the Club are delicious (when done Mikes way, with no disgusting mayo). The tuna sandwich tastes like what I imagine catfood would taste like. Stop using that generic tuna! Use white Albacore instead and, then, inform everyone in the USA that you have improved that terrible tuna. I guarantee youll see a ROI within the 1st 3 months! Let me know when you fix your tuna!
First visit was great. Second visit I decided to try online ordering option. Walked in at 11:29 as that was the time it said it would be ready. They started fixing the sub when I told them I had an online order. This took about 2m. Then I waited another 10m to sign for the sub. So pointless to order online and expect to just walk in and pick it up.
Im not from Columbus, I just attend school here and I went on my birthday with coupon in hand to receive the birthday meal. The manager explained that they did honor the coupon but only for regular customers who had a shore card. I felt like it was all a crock. Ill pass on jersey mikes and I will also warn off my many customers as well.
I was surprised when I went to the store at 8:10 pm and their choice of bread were only two pieces of reg size rosemary bread or party size little pieces of mixed 🍞. We took the rosemary bread so all that they had left was the party bread and still 3/4 of an hour to go. I guess it was early closing time

2022-05-24My daughter had a gift coupon and she had never tried Jersey Mikes. It was something new for us and it was pretty good. I was a bit surprised at seeing ingredients Id never heard of before, but the staff was very helpful and explained it, answered our questions and was very polite, and an exceptionally clean place. I typically dont eat subs, but it was good. Im sure if I tried it several times I would find something I really liked. They do have a good selection, I just wasnt familiar with their menu.

2021-08-09Bring back the old crew!!! I’ve eaten here twice a week for almost a year. Something has happened to this location! It’s not as clean, seriously not friendly. Cookies aren’t stocked, bathrooms aren’t clean, it’s completely different. There were no knives in the dispenser, so I ask for one & the lady told me to check again. So sad!

2022-06-24My husband went to the Rollins Way location and the customer service was extremely horrible he rarely complains about things but when he returned he told me he would never go to jersey Mikes again in life he left there and went to subway for another sandwich. I was shocked. But once I opened my sandwich I understood it was not at all what I asked for. How can you be at a store tell them what you want and they still get it wrong. That only happens when you have employees who dont give a shot. I use to love jersey Mikes but I will never ever return unless you hire employees who care which I know will never happen. You have lost a very loyal customer.

2019-10-27This place has some great sandwiches, especially hot sandwiches. I always get the giant #56 which their version of a philly cheese steak sandwich. Its delicious! They make the sandwiches right in front of you. The staff is also extremely friendly. They greet you as soon as you walk through the doors. They also keep the place really clean. The only dislike for me is...they serve Pepsi and not Coke. Other than that, its great place. I will continue to keep coming back here.

2021-12-13This is my first time there. It will be my last. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED!!! You do not get what you pay for. There are plenty of other sandwich shops in the Columbus area such as Jimmy Johns Firehouse subs and even Subway where you will get more bang for your buck. I ordered a regular tuna sandwich. When I saw the girl grab the bread I asked her what size and she said 8 in and I know that it was only 6 in. They are very selfish with their portions. She took a small spreader and spread a thin layer of tuna across the bread and I was thinking to myself you have got to be kidding me. This sandwich cost $8.25. before tax. I do not recommend anyone going to Jersey Mikes if you are looking to get a good hearty sandwich, There are many other places where you can go and get more bang for your buck. The wait time was ridiculous and the staff were Moody. Do not waste your money here and if you do decide to go Im going to say it now. Told you so.

2022-06-24Overrated and overpriced. Lack of toppings and when I unwrapped my sandwich and tried to dine in all the meat was not even in the hoagie roll. Save your money and just go to any other sub shop.

2022-04-05Food was ok. Service was ok. Store needed cleaning. Atleast 3 employees, no customers, yet the lobby was dirty. Definitely not my best Jersey Mikes experience.

2021-10-19EDIT 10/19/21: DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME responding to the owner when they ask you to email them with further information. It’s just for show - they won’t respond. I’ve reached out twice - no response. I think that falls into the lack of professionalism I mentioned on my first review. I’m docking a star for them wasting my time. Here’s my original, unedited review, which I still stand behind - it was originally 4 stars:So far so good. We’ve been a couple times a week for the past 3 months. Some of the staff needs to learn some professionalism, like speaking with customers and moving more quickly, but most of the crews we’ve experienced have been great with a few stand out employees. The food has always been great, but it’s not unusual to wait 15+ min for your order. We’re happy they’re around, and they’ll keep our business for the time being.
