Ive been before and the food was just okay. This time the fries were old and cold. The chicken strip tasted fine but they were cold too.
The chicken was absolutely delicious, wish this was closer to home! Also very family friendly, we greatly enjoyed the outdoor seating to let our child run around!
Very nice staff. The food was excellent. There were 7 in our group and each person was able to choose just what the wanted due to the large variety of choices. One person got catfish while another got a burger and another got shrimp. Food came out quickly and everything was so good!
My friend told me about this place while in Georgia and she was right. I got a burger and it was delicious. My husband got the combo plate and he said it was good too!
Im visiting my family here from Washington state, and my brother wanted me to try this restaurant since it is only in Georgia. Well, I ordered a shrimp plate and the shrimp wasnt bad, but one of my shrimp had a long black hair breaded into it when I bit into it, so that ruined my whole experience.
Ordered the family meal and it was fantastic. Most and render and the biggest chicken strip I have ever seen!
The atmosphere was clean and friendly. The concept was great.The fries were not fully cooked. Originally the wrong order came to our table. Incorrect order (6 instead of 12) was returned to kitchen and the wings that came out were not fresh. I asked the young lady at the counter if they were the same wings and she said she didn’t know with great indifference as if I had interrupted her visit with the rest of the staff.
First time here. Got 9 traditional hot wings, 9 lemon pepper wings and onion rings. Food was good but a little pricey compared to other places...paid $29 for the above food. Blue cheese and ranch dressing was delicious and plenty, which is nice because most places never give enough dressing. Staff was pleasant at the drive thru. Would definitely go back!
Got the 3 piece chicken strip snack with fries and they were cooked really good. Lots of variety on the menu from chicken strip, to wraps, catfish, shrimp and wings. Lots of choices to eat. Restaurant was very clean.
Im completely dissapointed ! I ordered a Super Salad specified in the comments that I had a Cheese and Pork Allergy & could not have those toppings on my salad & Jim Bobs sent me half an old salad 2 HUGE chunks of tomato , 2 HUGE cucumber slices & 2 peices of bell pepper & egg. The presentation is Lazy and I paid $17 all together just rediculous.
Nice facility but seems a bit overpriced for what you get. I mean, $2.77 for a small soft drink…exorbitant. Staff was nice and friendly though.

This rating is a 3 because I ordered delivery and paid for extra sauces and did not receive them. Next time I was shorted 2 fingers. I called and was advised the next time I came, they would give me the missing 2 fingers. Last order, my son picked up drive through, requested the 2 replacement fingers. When he arrived with the order, they were not there. The chicken is excellent but I would like to recieve the food I pay for.
I ordered 18 piece wings lemon pepper it was so much grease in the box and they wasnt brown enough Smh want be getting my money anymore

Terrible manager or whoever she was. Im surprised shes even working at a Christian restaurant because of the way she was talking to my mother. The inside needs to match the advertisement on the outside. Thats all Im saying.
I love this place. Their chicken tenders are always really good and the boneless wings. I like the medium sauce (regular). The staff have always been friendly each time Ive been. Very clean inside as well. Dining room, restrooms, all of it. Even when it isnt that busy, I notice the hostess or workers wiping down the tables, cleaning up, etc. Would recommend if in Columbus.

Very wonderful experience. Excellent customer service. When the delightful woman gave me my food said she put extra love in it, she was not pulling my leg. The catfish slapped, and the corn nuggets were the bees knees. I will be back with my husband and kids.
This restaurant is usually pretty good and consistent however the last time my husband and I ate here they not only got our order wrong both my husband and I got sick from the food we couldnt eat most of the fries because they were not cooked all the way through idk if they had an off day but we will not be back.
Great service friendly staff but shouldn’t be called fast food wait 20 mins sitting in the parking lot on my burger. Noticed 1 people dinning in order after me and received food before me
Not good at all! The only reason they got a star is because the staff was friendly. The food was hot but my burger was burnt to a crisp. We ordered through the drive through and waited at the pick up for nearly 30 min and there was only 2 others that had ordered. All in all I would not recommend... unless your getting a sweet tea it was pretty good.
Staff is always pleasant but the kitchen has been struggling lately. Food is either overcooked or barely warm when you get it. I didnt mind the higher prices when the food was great but I find myself not choosing them as much recently. You can actually hear the kitchen help grumbling when you order like you just ruined their evening by buying dinner there.

Ordered online with a pickup of 30 minutes later. Arrived at stated time. Staff let cooks know I was there to pick up food. People that came in 20 minutes after me were served before me until my husband came in to find out what was taking so long. No one acknowledged me waiting for over a half hour nor did they apologize for the wait. Instead, they explained that they were busy which was no reasoning for why people behind me ordered in person and were served first. First and last time. Will not return.
I ordered the new chicken sliders with baked beans and as the server was grabbing the food from the window she said to one of the cooks, “that looks like diarrhea” and then brought us our food. We were sitting close to the counter and my husband and I both heard the conversation. Needless to say, I didn’t eat the baked beans. It’s hard to eat food after someone says it looks like diarrhea…
My wife likes the catfish snack. My 8-year old niece likes a cheese sandwich. I usually get a chicken finger snack or The Bob Burger.
My food was good. It was fresh. I ordered the combo with wings and chicken fingers. I like my wings with little crispy so I put in toaster oven to get the crisp I wanted while I ate my fingers.
The food is good and Ive never had a problem with cold food. When I ordered my burger this time, like always no onions or special sauce, they fail to put all the other items that it came with on the burger. I dont like to take food back nor do I want to be given missing ingredients on the side; so I just ate it like it was. I dont know how they would have fixed the problem because I didnt tell them. Theyre always nice so Im sure it was just an over sight.
The cashier and the person who brought food to the table made it a wonderful experience. They were both pleasant and engaging... kudos to the hiring team.

Well to start the very sticky floor kind of almost made me want to walk out, but it was our first time there so my family and I gave it a chance. For the quality of the food that we received it definitely did not meet the price of our bill. Fries were old and you could tell they have been sitting under the heat lamp for a while, the burger was mediocre at best the patties were cooked too long had no flavor and had a burnt crust around them. The boneless wings looked like they were reheated by throwing them back in the fryer again. They looked way too dark to be fresh, the honey mustard and ranch made them tolerable. The only thing that was good were the tenders my wife and son received, they were juicy and I really liked the breaded crust they had on them. The service was good and I loved the the bible verses they had hanging along with the music.

The food is good but very pricey for what it is. My wife got a burger with potatoe salad, we both had drinks and a cup of ice. All this was 19.00. That is way too much for a fast food establishment when the competition has the same thang for a lot cheaper. Even 5 Guys has a cheaper burger. I know its a small business but im honestly not sure how they stay in business with these prices.

If you like onion rings, youve got to try Jim Bobs onion rings. They are my favorite onion rings in Columbus. So good! I also like the Southwest Wrap. Yummy!

Jim Bobs and Zaxbys seem to complement each other, but Jim Bobs personally has the better customer service staff. That, and they have burgers! Their dining room is also open, and theres plenty of room inside to social distance in the seats. AND it doesnt cost any extra to have the chicken fingers buffaloed/tossed in their wing sauces. Top that, Zaxbys!

I do not understand how a place can get orders wrong all the time. I even tell them to check to be sure it’s right.Once or twice a week we go thru drive thruOut of total of 10 orders 4 can be wrong?
Were new to the area and decided to give this spot a try. We ordered 2 chicken finger plates and 12 boneless wings (wing special on Saturdays for .65 cents each) . The chicken and fries were great, along with their special sauce and ranch dip. The wings had great flavor, honey BBQ and parmesan garlic, but my issue is that the boneless wings were more of sauced chicken fingers. Hard to explain but definitely not a boneless wing like at wing stop or Buffalo Wild Wings. Overall great place, friendly staff . Will come back again .
The food is decent, if going through drive thru the wait is long but I’d expect that considering chicken takes a while to cook and I’d rather it be fresh. Never had an issue with my order or customer service but I think they are overpriced.
To me they are superior to Zaxbys in every way except price. I especially love the combo plate with the fried chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks. Its a bit ridiculous how expensive they are ESPECIALLY with combos not even coming with a drink. One of most expensive fast food places for what you get. If the price were better Id give 5 stars and eat here weekly. As it is, its 4 stars and Ill eat there once a month or so. Just way too expensive.
I went to Jim Bobs with my family since i liked their wings before. We noticed when we entered that the floors and tables are really dirty and sticky. Spiderwebs by the windows, napkin holders are dusty and the salt and peper shakers are very filthy. It was dirty enough to notice. When our food came i found a hair on my celery. I completely lost my appetite.We asked for the manager and explained our concerns. He apologized and gave me my money back. It is a very nice christian restaurant and the staff is friendly but the cleanliness needs a very big improvement. Please clean before someone gets seriously sick. If it is that dirty in the restaurant i can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.
My friend & I ate at Jim Bobs and the food was good but overpriced for the amount you get. We could not enjoy our meal because the music was so loud. We asked them to turn the music down but they never did. They need to do away with the music so people can enjoy their meal. The tables needed wiping off and every time I have ever been there the floors are so sticky , your shoes stick to the floor. Needs new flooring. I see where a lot of customers are complaining about the sticky floors.
We have loved the place since they opened until 03/10/2010 always raves about the shrimp but this time they were small and cold I guess they cooked them before the chicken we ordered also noticed a .98 svc charge so I inquired about it and was told it is a charge for not using cash. I hope y’all understand hardly any ousted cash and when everyone catches onto this your business will probably be in trouble since the price is already above average then sneak in this charge
Not that good at all wouldnt go back spent over $55 for 2 kids 2 adults Burgers where burnt chicken cold mozzarella sticks hard 👎

Amazing priced restaurant food that can also be served quickly through the drive thru. We stumbled across this place and was not disappointed at all. The staff was great, they gave my husband an awesome military discount (which is rare in a Military town). HIGHLY recommended. Definitely one of our new favorite restaurants/drive thru.
Jim Bobs is a great place to go for a family-friendly environment and great chicken. Ive always loved their chicken tenders, whether fried or grilled, but recently I tried their Greek salad, which is also great! I think Ill be sticking with it from now on. Keep up the great work, Jim Bobs!

First time going here and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It had a friendly and feel at home kind of aura. The food really complimented said aura and made the rainy day outside disappear from my mind.
Terrible I just waited 20 minutes in the drive thru. The staff was terrible, never came to check on us. The hot wings were terrible just looked like they were reheated and dumped into the box. They didnt even give me a fork. There was nothing great about the Bob burger. It was very greasy.
I was pretty disappointed. Its overpriced for mediocre food, small portions, and my roommate got sick to her stomach after eating here, like throwing up and the whole nine. Zaxbys beats these guys on price and quality and its not even close. Idk maybe I just ate there on a bad day but Im not really interested in trying them again to find out.

I ordered a fruit cup as a side with my wings. It was expensive for the size but what really got me was the fact that there was mold on the grapes 😬. I didnt notice it until I got back to my house or else I wouldve addressed it there but it was pretty gross, especially considering I had already eaten a few pieces of fruit before I realized 😣😣😣

I am truly a fan of Jim Bobs. it has a good family atmosphere and the food is grea. Its primarily a chicken joint with wings, fingers, and sandwiches but I recently bought a Bobs burger and it was possibly one of the best burgers Ive had in years. I think Ill be expanding my palate and trying different things on the menu moving forward. Keep up the good work Jim Bobs.

Every time I come through the drive thru during lunch there will be three cars or less in the drive through and there will be a 10-15 minute wait in line. It doesn’t take that long to cook chicken, I know- I worked at Willy T’s for 4 years. Also- the prices are ridiculous. No more second chances from me. Sorry!
The food is good, but they can never get my order right. I’ve ordered the grilled fingers from them twice now through the WaitR app and both times they filled the order with fried fingers, which in my opinion aren’t that great. I won’t be ordering from there again.

The workers were extremely rude and inattentive to our needs. When I interactEd with the person at the register she constantly rolled her eyes, no eye contact, and gave us an attitude. Our food came out luke warm and had difficulty getting my order right. This was my first time and it was an aweful experience. I wont be coming back. Very unsatisfying experience.
BEST WINGS IN COLUMBUS! They accommodate to your selection of sauces regardless of amount. Great flavor and crisp. Weve given other places multiple tries, but always resolve Jim Bobs is the best.The customer service never disappoints too.

Best wings in town. Loved the Christ centered environment. I eat there weekly, Love Wings... I have had wings in just about every restaurant in Columbus and Metro Atlanta over the years. Hands down they are my favorite.
Quite frankly, some of the best fried chicken tenders in Columbus, GA. Good for that cheat meal or some kids with high metabolism who need calories to burn. Fantastic sauce, nice staff, originated in Opelika Alabama, now branching out across the southeast but food and environment hasnt been tainted by a mass produced chain feel.

First it was a hair on my fries, then as I almost finish the new plate of food they brought me, a roach made herself at home in our table. The manager tried to offer me a free dinner, but I declined as I would NEVER eat there again.
The staff was nice but the food was very bad ..me and my husband both got sick afterwards. On the way home we both had to stop on side of road and vomit..not good at all

I sat at their drive through for 6 mins. There were workers inside who could see me, the store it’s supposed to close at 10 it was 8:50pm. Didn’t acknowledge me, lights were on but nothing. Was my first time there. And my last.

Decided that I wanted to go get my pre-Trump/Clinton debate chicken game on. Zaxbys was nearby, but I decided to change the game and go here. I went with two friends ready to experience the fine Colombus cuisine. I can confidently say I am satisfied with the food, but not the prices.

Used to be our favorite wing place. Lately however the wings have become smaller and the sauce on the wings less and less...hope it will be back to regular sized wings soon... it has been a disappointing visit the last 4 times we went.

Never heard of Jim Bobs until I moved to Columbus. Was really excited to try it. Asked drive thru attendant to sub coleslaw for extra toast. she cut me off. While I was taking. Twice. Okay. Whatever. Brushed it off. Then, I sat in the drive thru for TWELVE MINUTES before driving off. I think the person at the window had a large order. & instead of telling her to drive around so they could bring her food out...they let the line pile up. 12 minute DT times?? Embarrassing. Not coming back.

2021-10-30I requested to have my wings made fresh and what I got was certainly not that. 2 wings were extremely dark. They looked old & refried. But worse than that, one wing had a bunch of feathers in it. So many that it startled me when I picked it up. It was disgusting. Do you guys not wash your chicken or inspect the final product!? This is unacceptable!

2021-08-05Staff & food were good. I was very tired & staff helped guide me through the menu to meet my food allergy needs. Food was quickly brought to my table & was freshly prepared. I wasn’t particularly food of the onion rings but I know they would have tried & given me a replacement had I been willing to complain.

2021-08-25Weve eaten at Jim Bobs countless times and have really enjoyed it, however the last few times have been subpar. The onion rings that were really good, have been changed to crunchy, bready, frozen onion rings. The chicken has feathers all over it. And when I called to discuss the issue, the initial young lady answering the call had no response to my statements and simply passed the phone off in silence. The guy I spoke with had good customer service, but everyone else along with the latest food theyve been serving need tremendous improving.

2022-06-04Great Mrs. Mary Williams she is a little over 60 at the prime of her life blessed. She is from a different generation and treated us like you want to be treated. Like we and our business matter.I dont believe she ownes the restaurant no doubt she is a keeperShe has a genuine smile and a great personality. Provided Great service and made us feel welcome.Im not knocking the younger generation its just its not often you get this level of respect and heart warming experience.The food was good as always my wife and I had a good time.If you get a chance drop in and visit with Mrs. Mary you will smile and feel better and hopefully enjoy your meal and day.

2022-05-15The 🍋 🌶 Wings are delicious. I have ordered the same kind of wings 3x and have enjoyed eating them each time. My wife and kids tried one or two and wanted to trade dishes. Of course, I said no. They have tried other flavored wings with no complaints but only satisfaction. Drive thru is a bit 🐌 🦥 and a time they shorted me a number of wings but that was an easy fix. The dining atmosphere is relaxing. Thank you for the food.

2022-05-20Five stars to the staff working their behinds off. Three stars for wait time in drive thru. One star for the wings that had a rubber-like texture. You would think for a place that had “chicken fingers” in the name itself, the chicken would be unique in taste and fresh in entirety. The taste of the tenders combined with the sauce makes me feel like I’m eating at a generic Raising Cane’s… in my opinion I don’t think their food is worth the price they’re asking for. But I will say, Jim Bob’s has an excellent staff.

2022-05-06My wife really likes this place. She enjoys the fried chicken fingers and house chicken sauce is one of her favorites.She does not like the slaw, so she would rate it 4.5 stars. The vinegar too strong for her.Jim Bobs also does grill chicken which my Mother in law prefers.They also have wraps, chicken wings, salads and burgers so a crowd of folks can find something to eat.I pick this place when meeting friend because the food options and the out door seating.The Columbus location has a covered patio with ceiling fans and about 5 or 6 tables that sit 4 people each.

2020-08-31Its been awhile since eating in at this joint, so I decided to again. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. I also want to mention that its Christian owned and thats a plus. The food was fresh, hot and extremely delicious! They also do a great job of keeping the place clean. The atmosphere is comfortable and I also like the booths. I will be coming back for more.

2022-06-30This was our first time eating here. It has always looked closed/empty so weve never stopped. The cashier Mary was very pleasant. We ordered a little bit of everything. The wings were very basic, burger was good enough, shrimp was very good, french fries had no seasoning, we used some cajun sparkles we had in the car and dipped them in ranch (the ranch was nothing special!). The shrimp came with 3 very tiny jalapeño hushpuppies. I asked for 1 extra hushpuppy so wed each have 2, that turned out to be a big deal..... we settled for the 3 which turned out to be a good thing because they were NOT great. If we ever go back at all, it would be for the shrimp.

2022-06-14Great food. The drive thru line does take more time that other fast food businesses but it is WELL worth it. Food is always hot and fresh and delicious!
