Went for lunch and had a great time. The whole place inside and out was so clean it was we were the first people in there.Food was great and service was great as well.
Cool place, adult slot style arcade, poker tables, and full bar. Restaurant with lots of TVs so no matter what room your in you wont miss a play!
This is a cute new find...I work a lot so when I can I love to take the dog with me everywhere. Its difficult in the winter, but we found a new spot. Its cute and the staff is welcoming and accommodating.
We were able to watch Virginia Tech baseball, and the mozzarella sticks were worth the trip.

My boyfriend and I, both 22 years old, were refused service here because Joes “does not take vertical IDs” when Georgia law CLEARLY states that vertical IDs can be accepted with second proof of ID. Bartender then told me “if you were born in 1999, that wouldn’t make you 22”. Bartenders here clearly cannot do math or read a date on an ID. Refusing service to willing and paying customers that are OVER AGE. Will never be back.
Love this bar. First time stopping in. Feels so homey and friendly. Everyone around the bar was nice and the food was not typical bar food. I had whitefish with fried Corn on Cobb which (gotta try it) and fried okra. My friend had chili. It was perfect for a rainy day. In the back, there is a small stage for live music and tables tucked away in the back. A couple of people were back there on their laptops working. There are about 8 slot machines in there also. About half were full around 3pm. Thanks Joes!

Like that there was lots of room and seating. Very attentive waiter. A deck / patio smoking area for people that still partake like me :-) They had a rocking band that night also. So on my scale at least a four

This place is always open! Full menu till two am with delivery, Uber eats, pick up, and dine!! in all the way thru. EVERY DAY AND NIGHT! ALSO FOOD WAS PERFECT! GREAT SERVICE! EVERYTHING I TRIED WAS MADE TO ENJOY! the fried okra was better than my nannies! Will be going there every time I am in the area

Ordered 10 bonesless wings for lunch pickup. The total was almost $17 which included a Togo charge. Thats blasphemous. I understand prices for restaurants are up but this is just flat out taking advantage of a situation. $17 for some pieces of chicken breast. Doesnt even include fries for that price.
I just ordered a go orderFish & Chip small fish balls .1 pound of wings 5 wingsThose two items was cooked together.The fries was so dark you would not even know it was fries.And Philly cheesesteak total of $45.00 plus.My one star says it all .Stay away from these food items.And if you order from them after this posting you will not do it again..I use to be a big fan . This is nothing like I have ever got from there before.I don’t understand I know you don’t open to serve bad food this is on the cook.
Love this place and love the people. Always good prices and awesome food with specials daily. Erica always makes me feel like a priority whenever I’m in here, no matter the amount of people in our party. Hands down my favorite bar tender here! If I could give this restaurant a 0 star, I would. No where on the menu, the website, or the front door does it require an ID to enter. Yet, the security located at the front of the restaurant continued to harass our table throughout the course of the meal. We were approached twice by the security, once halfway through the meal and then again at the end. He continued to rush and intimidate our table, as if two people watching a game was causing an issue. If the food was good, I would ignore the issues with the service and security. The burger was falling to pieces and the Queso dip was cold.I will never be returning to this joke of an establishment, and I would be beyond embarrassed as a restaurant if I had as bad service and security as this place did.

Poor customer service waited 8mins for a drink and get this bar wasnt crowded its 5ish night shift bartender finally noticed me a made me a drink..mean while the other bartender ( tall blonde w ponytail) proceeds to make everyone else a drink ....I hate to say it but the twist is IM THE ONLY BLACK PERSON AT THE BAR!!! 2nd time this has happened HERE!!
Food was better than most bars. Wings were okay, my partner got the hot dog basket it was pretty good. Their gouda Mac and cheese was very tasty. Overall average place nothing to write home about.
More than a bit overpriced for a sports bar. Service was decent , food is above average but over 100 bucks for 3 people is a bit of a rip of. Had a few apps , a salad, handful of drinks , a burger plus 10 bone in wings with a basket of fries.

I started going to Joes about 6 months ago and loved them. The food is fantastic. But lately, the service has gone to hell.Tonight I sat at the bar over 10 minutes while 2 bar tenders served people around me but never even looked at me.Now Im sitting at another sports bar happily spending my money.Good bye, Joe!!!UPDATE 2021-08-22 -- Now 5 StarsAfter almost 2 months, we finally returned to Joes to see if things have improved. We sat out on the deck and very soon Danielle was at our table.SHORT VERSION - Danielle absolutely rocked it! Pete, if your other servers are half as customer focused then youve struck gold!The food has always been great and it still it. But now, it looks like Pete has a new crew that has totally reverses the previous service issues. If////when you go to Joes look for a server named Danielle. She will take great care of you. We WILL be back.
A vast improvement every time we go
Won 30 dollars at the slot machine, but instead of cash I was given gift cards that could only be used there. I wasn’t allowed to cash those cards out. If they aren’t allowed to give cash they should have made that more clear or remove the slot machines altogether

Ive been coming to Joes for 3 years now and Kara and Erin are my FAVORITE bartenders!!!! The security guard today was wayyyyy better than Bill!!!. I will only come when Kevin ,Kara ,and Erica are working. This is the best bar to come to when u want something open late. Their food is really good too. I highly recommend coming here! TERRIBLE SERVICE! We were given no napkins nor silverware. The waitress only brought us our drinks. After that she never came back to our table. They care more for the people drinking than they do about the others. When we left we had to walk to the bar to get our own ticket because the waitress just didnt care. Please for the love of everything stay away from this place. The atmosphere is not friendly and you will not feel welcomed

The food was decent at a decent price. We had the BLT with homemade chips and Cajun burger and fries. The service was a little lacking. We were told to seat ourselves so we chose to sit outside since it was a nice Friday night, but then we seemed to be forgotten. We ended up ordering beers at the bar and then someone came and take our order. When another couple joined us outside, the service was very attentive; however, once they left we seemed to be forgotten again and ended up selling our tab at the bar. Its walkable from home, but Im not sure how excited I am to go back.

So after reading the reviews I decided to get this food through Grubhub. I’ll preface this by saying I truly appreciated the manager/owners response on previous review, even when the review wasn’t good he was still nice and seemed like he would mention it to his staff. I ordered the tater tot nachos, chicken fingers and queso. The tot nachos looked like vomit and diddnt taste much better. The tots were soggy like they were pulled out of the fryer while undone. Also when you have messy ingredients it’s better to separate them but this wasn’t all the stuff was piled into one sweaty box. Not good. I got the chicken tender dinner. Supposed to come with 4 tenders I received 2. Supposed to come with tots and onion rings. No tots. Small chicken fingers tasted over done. I put a note to add an extra sauce and they diddnt do it. The queso is 8 dollars and is small so is the portion of chips. In my opinion it’s bar food you know? Like hit or miss and this missed for me. Overpriced and NOT worth the price tag. That’s my opinion so take it with a grain of salt and I’m not trying to Bash this place just leave an honest review.

Danielle from the phone conversation to guiding the best options for food, was a delight and fun personality.The staff made the first time experience memorable and I am now a strong believer in coming, chilling, vining, and grabbing great wingsLive musics is a plus as long as Danielle sings with the smile.Highly recommend Joes sports bar.

Edit- 32722I just realized, this past week, that Jim at Joes had responded to my review with an offer of a complimentary dinner. I reached out to Jim to see if the offer was still available and he advised it was. I decided to take him up on that offer and they replaced my entire meal threw in extra pretzels, AND had it delivered by 5pm on the dot (my requested time).I personally wasnt crazy about the fries, but I didnt have fries the boys did and they loved them so score. The boys also had the mushroom Swiss burger, big hit with the youngest and the other son had tenders, this time they were perfectly cooked and devoured by son. Husband had the salad the bread was included this time and hubby was happy.Now on to my pretzels....OMG they were so !$@%#! Delicious!Warm, soft, and salty just how like my pretzels and the cheese dip was so freaking gooey and yummy!Ive upped my rating to 5 stars because Jim was so kind to make the offer, honor it months later, and send me extra of those freaking fantastic pretzels!Thank you Jim @ Joes Ill be back for more!101821 -No pictures for this one as it was an uber delivery and I just dont normally take pictures or leave reviews on delivery. However, uber didnt offer me the opportunity to leave my comments so here I am.We frequently order from Joes and normally Im pleased, I always get the big pretzel and this time was no different, well not on my part but Joes truly screwed this up. My pretzel, the only thing I ordered for myself, was hard as rock and I couldnt finish it, my jaw hurts from what I did eat. My oldest sons chicken tenders were almost black and looked horrible. My youngest hasnt complained so Im assuming either he ate it (they were allowed to eat in their rooms tonight) or hell just toss it later and find something else. Thankfully my husband ordered a salad and they didnt screw that up too badly, they just forgot his bread 🤦End result, Joes will never get my money again!

I have been coming here for about 4 years now and it used be a fun experience for locals, especially during the pandemic. Now, the service has gone completely south. It took forever for the waitress to come by our table of 8 to take our order. I wasn’t too upset because they were pretty understaffed and the place was crowded. When I tried to get the waitress’s attention to get another drink as she walked by me about an hour later, she looked right at me, ignored me, and walked on by. Just pathetic all around. One would think a bar would be enthusiastic about selling drinks, but not this place. It’s filled with grumpy staff who could care less about service. It’s sad to say that I won’t be returning here again and will take my regular business to their competitors.
A second story bar/restaurant. 2 in our party of 3 had mobility issues. No elevator to assist. Because if that we will not return.
Nice vibe! Reminiscent of Jeffreys on Abbots Bridge but much nicer inside & outside!Come for poker & the games on tv but stay for the bands & adult trivia but please NO KIDS during adult trivia because it is VERY EXPLICIT! LOL.

Not only is the food great but they have outstanding customer service! My husband and I were missing an item from our DoorDash order so we called the restaurant and Chris went out of his way to deliver it to us personally. I highly recommend this place.

I recently went to Joe’s Bar and Grill to get some dinner and watch the McGregor vs Porier fight. We sat down and our waitress took 20 minutes to bring us our drinks. I then tried to order 12 chicken wings and the waitress told me they were charging $10 for 4 wings. I ordered something else and before we even got our food our waitress came to the table and told us the fight would cost $20 for people under 21 to watch and $10 for people over 21 to watch. Not only did they not tell us this before we ordered, but the fights only cost $60 to purchase. The bar would be making their money back on our table alone! This was a scam at trying to take advantage of younger customers. I strongly recommend not eating here. Very poor service.

Ordered doordash through this place. Fairly new to Alpharetta and love me some good bar food. Pizza wasn’t cooked poorly but came completely unsliced….? A little Confused on that part and frustrated seeing as I’m staying in a hotel for the night. Also ordered Key Lime Pie and got a completely different dessert. Super disappointed. I used to work at Applebee’s and not even that place had this mess of a to go order.

Its always fun when we go to Joes.But just this one last time like something was wrong. A lot of new servers, (which is totally ok) but somebody need to tell them, always write the orders. Whole over there world they write and dont mess the orders. However this is not a biggy. As all was good, at the end a few guys came out at the patio and start playing poker. They were so loud even for me(Ive been a DJ). We stayed outside to avoid the band so we can hear ourself, but the poker band came out and it was really unpleasant. I guess everyone have his own concerns.Anyway well keep going there. At the end everybody goes out for little louder than home. Youre good.

Food was awful. I feel bad a cow had to die for my burger.1. The bun was soaked through in grease.2. The patty fell into 7 or 8 pieces when I took my first bite. Had to eat it with a fork.3. One small piece of onion when I asked for extra.4. Took 10 minutes for the waitress to bring the ketchup.

Great live music and when I listen to the band if they are in my genre I’ll ask the band a question! They often allow me on the stage because I play harps. Once I started playing people actually clapped once I started then the bouncers came to me me after the second song to leave the stage. I don’t ask for money and I know they pay the band I’m not looking for $ I left and might show back over to harp and let them kick me out again!
Really disappointed from the orderthe fries, basically lays chips topped with a fist full of saltthe garlice bread, a sandwich bread fried with oil with a fist full of saltthe wings, burnt the living hell out off it with a fist full of salthad to literally throw all of it awayseriously, while having the food i felt like if anyone wishes to die and wanted to make it look like not a suicide, they could have the food i ordered and probably that will result in them having high blood pressure, chalk full of oil in there blood vessels and then die of a heart attack and call it a natural deaththat much salt, seriously?never ordering food from here again
Gave them a second try and they screwed up the order and did not include half of the ordered items when I called them back rather than lift a single finger to help they told me to call chownow... When I did call chow now I was able to get the missing item refunded but the restaurant chose to be customer unfriendly, they are welcome to go jump in the nearest lake.
Waited over an hour for a To Go order and the restaurant was dead. Not sure how they survived the pandemic.
Great neighborhood bar for having some drinks after work. The staff of friendly. This is not a bar to go to if you want a fancy drink, or fancy food. A normal beer or mixed drink is what you go here for. The food is good, but its typical bar food. The beers are always cold, and the pours are always generous.

We were so disappointed in our order from Joe’s. The burgers were undercooked, even though we ordered medium. The wings were burnt on the outside, but pink in places. The chips were just one cold mess. Granted, we did order the food to go, but it was very clearly not cooked correctly nor packaged with care. Ultimately, I just can’t get over how undercooked the burgers were, especially when Uber Eats allows you to select a temperature.

There are no names on the check but I got to go food at about 12 a.m. Friday morning and everything I asked for was in there including three dipping sauces for chips and the chefs were on point with their temps even being delivery

This is a cool bar, they are actually upstairs above a liquor store. I went for a Halloween thing that they were doing. Everyone was super friendly and they had games and fun things to do. Their food was pretty dang good, even though my tummy did not like the grease afterwards 😅. I would definitely like to go back! I had fun. Go check it out if you happen to be in the area, pretty nifty little spot.
We came to this restaurant for dinner. we heard about this restaurant from many people. Well, it was a winning. we were warmly welcomed by the crew and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We loved this place very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. we highly recommend this place.

Ok mic check. 1 2 1 2. Me and some friends just looked up “casual bars near me” for a quick drink and came here. Super good choice. The scenes really nice and there’s a lot to do here. Pool darts trivia and they even have poker. Also our waitress Vanessa aka Nessa aka V-Nasty hands down best service I received. Went the extra mile in every way. If u don’t get waited by her u missed half the experience. Request her. Ask for Nessa aka V-Nasty they’ll know what’s up.

Joes Sports Bar and Grill was excellent in every sense of the word. Lets start with the Bartender Melissa. She was friendly and made her drinks strong. I had a Long Island Ice Tea and it was the strongest one Ive ever had, believe me when I say one was enough! I found all of the staff friendly and they took their jobs seriously. They helped each other even when it wasnt their job to do so. For instance, the bouncer was cleaning tables. The bar was very clean and they had an outside area that was especially clean as well. Last but certainly not least, the food. We saw plenty of food leaving the kitchen and it looked and smelled amazing! We had zero intentions on ordering food until the smell of a hot pizza passed by us. We had to order one, we just couldnt help it! We ordered a large pepperoni pizza. When it got to us it was piping hot, the gooey cheese was extra thick, it just enough pepperoni scattered all over it and the crust was that perfect combination of crispy and chewy. I knew it was hot and would burn my lip and tongue but I just couldnt wait! I swear I saw fireworks and twinkling stars as the pizza glided across my taste buds!! It was soooo good!! Im so glad that Stephen at the Hilton recommended Joes to us! I cant wait to be back in town so I can go again!

Joes Sports Bar & Grill recently opened for business on the corner of Jones Bridge and Douglas Rd. I went in this evening for a burger, a beer and to see what the new kid in the neighborhood was like. There was a good crowd of customers there and about half were there to play poker. The menu has a lot to choose from but I wanted a burger and fries. Nearly 20 choices of draft beer. Ritz took my order and got everything started but while I was there Ashley and the other waitress ( Im sorry I cant remember her name) tag teamed me and made sure I was happy. Im not rich or good looking so I have to attribute it to great customer service. Thank you Ladies. Dinner came out fairly quickly and just the way I wanted it. Joes is a welcome new neighbor and if there had been pool tables they would have got the 5th star. I will go back.
I live in another state, was visiting a friend in GA, we went here to hopefully enjoy some food & drinks. The manager was rude & used vulgar language towards us. Very unprofessional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
My husband and I have gone there several times. It has a great atmosphere... very friendly. The wait staff is excellent. They are always polite, accurate, and personable. They make you feel at home. They had the best new years eve party with a tasty buffet, awesome DJ, reasonable admission price, balloon drop with prizes, party favors, and a champagne toast.
Waitress stole 55 dollars put 1s sandwiched between 2 20s make sure you count your money
My previous review came on a bad day. I have since enjoyed many good times there. The food is good and the staff is friendly. My initial review came shortly after their opening and I think Joes was going through the usual opening problems and did not have the staff they have now. Im happy to recommend Joes to anyone.
Food was great. Live music was awesome. Since it was non smoking, kids enjoyed it too. Will go again.

Great place for chillaxin!! Watchin the game!! Staff is awesome and laid back. Still attentive and on point with service. Food is very good! LIVE MUSIC!!! I love the diverse music play by ONE band. They played sets with 80s, 90s, and contemporary. Gotta go and get a drink here also! Strong!! Worth every penny and ya wont go broke.Also know establishment is upstairs with patio. Very Clean!! Very Friendly!! I will be going again. You should join me!!
Great food, I like that they deliver as well. I give 3 stars because lately the service hasnt been too great at all, forgetting items off order and this time my food was under cooked. Im hoping Im not sick tomorrow I ate my fish but the breading was so soft and flakey looks like it was in the grease for about 2 minutes and the okra was soggy....hot but soggy. If I could upload a pic I would, doubt Ill be ordering from here anytime soon.*Update* the owner Jim goes above and beyond if you have any problems.... although I try not to complain but he does what he can to keep his loyal customers. Takes a lot of time to get a drink. The impression is bartenders are busy talking to regulars. Takes a lot of time to get your check and then to get the credit car run. All in all a great place if you dont mind waiting to get a drink and to close your tab. One would think they should do anything possible to sell more drinks...
Came here just for a chill night drinking with buddies and i had a great time. Nessa was our server and she was amazing! If she’s your server then you’re in luck 🙂

This is one of my favorite local restaurants. The staff treat you like family and there are always the friendly locals. Everything I have tried on the menu is amazing. A definite must try.

Had a great time on Trivia night and dancing with friends, but the DJ needs to consider the crowd when selecting music. Middle aged suburban housewives may not be so into music that a 20 something might like. Just sayin.

Typical sports bar. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Just went for a drink after dinner since it was within walking distance, but ended up with wings, which were pretty good. I might go back for Monday or Thursday night football if my team is playing.

Good Location and environment to catch a game or have beer with a friend. Table service needs more attention. Otherwise, they had musicians, trivia night and sit above a “Bottoms Up” liquor store for your convince.
Wonderful bar. Great for sporting events and general get togethers. Great vibe with a friendly staff. Shout out to bar tender Ash/Ashley. She is super personable and will make you feel right at home. Would definitely recommend this place for your next gathering.
Amazing chicken wings here! I went to see an awesome transgender band playing there called EXQUISITE GENDER and believe I may have found one of my favorite wing spot! Soooooo goooood!!!!
Terrible experience. Got there at 7:30, ordered drinks at 7:40, appetizer at 7:50.... 8:05 STILL no drinks. Yet, the appetizer shoes up. Nachos looked like they had been sitting the whole time. Multiple times the bartender showed up asking if we had this drink, she had zero idea what table got what. We were excited for a new bar in johns creek, what a disappointment.
Slow service. The food was decent bar food and the patio was a nice place to sit. The inside smelt like puke so it was our only option to sit on the patio.
Some staff are tentative and some are not, that makes it hard to give it a good rating. Been there several time to pick up Uber eats orders, I went there and ask the guy that was at the bar (he looked like the manager) and he told if your order is not on this spot right here that means its not ready... Now how am I suppose to know that?

Not bad, but not everyones crowd either. This is not your run-of-the-mill sportsbar, its a hole in the wall type where they have tables for gaming and have tournaments, darts, large area for dining and a huge bar. Staff are friendly, food is good.

Joe’s is the go to for drinks and grub in Alpharetta! Walk in and you will find the bar full of regulars eating chicken wings and watching the game. The place is upstairs. Parking lot has plenty of space. Liquor store below.Service was fast, friendly and smart.They have high tops and booths. Lots of tvs.M-F thru have buy one get one specials. Trivia on Fridays and Sunday!Like the music.

Horrible experience! Not a place to go if you are looking for a laid back place to make friends and enjoy a nice sports bar and a good meal. Bartenders are extremely rude and only acknowledge regular customers and they go out of their way to make you feel unwanted! Food is nothing to be proud of and not worth the price!
Zero thought goes into hosting . Too much combined loud venues . I walked in and there was a 3 ft tall industrial speaker , blasting football less than 3 ft behind the dealer box for a poker game .Alleged response from the Owner misses the point entirely .....of course many bars are sports bars that broadcast sporting events over loud speakers , inside their establishment , that is a given . What is NOT a given , and does not make sense is the said POSITION of the loudspeaker so close to the ,dealer box, in a poker game also being hosted by the establishment .Its possible to host Different venues simoultaneously , but one must plan , and place things like loud speakers 🔊 , strategicly .Loud loud loud loud !!!!!

2022-04-13SO, I had ordered previously from this restaurant and ended with giving a bad review. Well, I fully take back my review because the owner really came through and made sure that whatever issues I had with the food were reconciled. 1st off, the restaurant is very nicely decorated. When I arrived, I was greeted by Jim and 2 lovely young ladies. My food was wrapped very nicely and was piping hot. My wings were so delicious, we ate them to the bone. He also through in some yummy mozzarella sticks that were oozing of cheese. The fries came out great too. This business really cares about their customers satisfaction and I would definitely bring my family and friends here to dine in.

2022-04-20First, I appreciate an establishment that supports local music, and the open mic here is first rate. Fantastic hosts, excellent sound, stage, and lighting. The service was outstanding, the best Ive had in ages. Our server, Kara (sp?) was so friendly and attentive. This is my first visit, and I really enjoyed the (large) serving of fried shrimp - lightly battered and perfectly fried. The Cajun fries were very good as well. Nice selection of beers on tap. Looking forward to a return visit.

The other day, I had an experience that made me not want to order from this location.However, after being in contact with Jim, he convinced me to come in and give it another try.Brandy was very friendly and a wonderful bartender. My mother, sister, and I sat at a booth and Brandy was able to make sure we had everything we needed while also taking care of a full bar.The food was very good. Loved their fried pickles as always. The fries were a little greasy but that happens and isn’t a big deal.The atmosphere was nice. Had a lot of good rock songs playing and had a very “sports bar” feel but was still very clean. ESPECIALLY the bathroom. I think their bathroom was the cleanest I have seen in a LONG time.If you would like a nice spot to hang out for lunch, have a drink, and enjoy some good company and music, then Joes is the place for it.My only request is that you be patient with the staff and I can assure you that you will have a great experience. I will definitely be back again.

2022-05-13After going from place to place trying to find a “favorite local lunch spot” to go to while I’m on my work lunch break, I stumbled upon Joes. The bartender, Brandy, was so nice and talkative. I wasn’t local but she made me feel that way and all of the locals at the bar with her were very friendly. I came back the next day and Brandy remembered my drink order from the day before. Needless to say, I come here everyday for my lunch break! The food is great and the environment is fun!

2022-06-01Food, music, service - that’s the trifecta, right? They’ve got it. Kara is PHENOMENAL. She takes such good care of everyone and remembers drink orders and is FUN, just keeps us happy and ordering more wonderful food and drinks. Get the cheese sticks! And ask for Kara!
