Ive shopped at this Ace Hardware for the 18 years we have lived here in Johns Creek. Every time Ive stopped in for either a planned project or when stopped dead middle of a project for need of the right tool or hardware I have received excellent service. Excellent. Their staff is trained to be helpful and if you need to get in and out quick theyll help you find the exact right threaded bolt or whatever insane thing. I mean Ill say to myself Ill try Ace and if they dont have it Ill go to Home Depot and only once or twice did I ever need to head on to Home Depot - like to rent a wood chipper and you cant even rent those at Home Depot anymore. Highly recommend!!! Over 18 years to have incredibly consistent excellent service and staff and product? Unheard of!!!
Not only the greatest Ace I’ve ever been to, the greatest hardware store I’ve ever visited, and it’s not even close. The attention to detail in this place is extreme. From the hand-picked gift area, to the grill selection and services, to the indoor cabin setup in back of the store, this Ace is half store-half theme park. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The addition of a couple dogs on site is also a bonus. Be sure to say hi to Flat Coat Retriever, Forrest who works at the front register. The store is clean, fantastically laid out, and they offer curbside pickup, a huge bonus these days.Couldn’t be happier to have this great family business in our backyard.Shop small, support local!
The best local hardware store around. You will not find better customer service anywhere! Plus, it’s family owned and operated and in today’s world we all need to be better about supporting locally owned versus big box stores. Plus, they have an amazing gift section too - I never leave without buying a new candle! Thank you Lukowiak family for being so great for our community!
Have been going to the store for the past 10 years - Benjamin Moore Paint, pinestraw during spring etc and had a good experience. Was trying to replace a damaged key fob for my car (that I bought at this Ace location). Understandably, they mentioned that they cant do much about the damaged key fob as i didnt have the receipt (they did some run-around asking me to call the manufacturer when in fact could have been upfront and say not much can be done). But what concerned was their flip/flop on a new key fob and how much it costs to cut/reprogram. Just wish they had been more open about their pricing model. Just watch out and ask for upfront pricing if you are buying any service from them. And wish they could have been a bit more courteous as well.
I absolutely love Ace Hardware Johns Creek! The staff are always exceptionally helpful and courteous, and the owners play a very active presence in the store, showing how committed they are to customer service and their community! I love that I walk in and they greet me by name, offer to help, and point me directly to the aisle of the item I need. I always choose Ace Hardware first, and am so glad that we have them in our community! Thanks Richard, Ralph, Jan, and everyone at Ace for a great business!
One of the best hardware stores Ive been in (and I support many in my line of work) with a lively staff who are always willing to help and engage the customer. This store has great vision/foresight and I have noticed that they are ALWAYS the ones willing to take the risks other small businesses are not when it comes to stocking essential items. If you want to go to a store where you can engage with the employees and share a laugh, this is the store to come to. Nothing but class, character and willingness to help in my 10+ years shopping here. Dont forget who stayed open and risked their own safety to provide for the community they have already given so much to.
Summary: Online order pick up needs help and employees refuse to wear masks in a pandemic.I placed an order for in-store pick up. Before heading to the store, I called to ask if the order was ready and after quite a long time on hold was told that yes, it was ready for pick up. When my husband went inside to pick it up, the order was not only NOT ready, they had not even checked to see if the items were in-stock. So he was forced to stand in the store with not a single employee wearing a mask while they attempted (but did not succeed) to fulfill an order they had told me minutes before was ready to go.I have had similar experiences at other Ace locations but being new to the area had hoped this one would be different. Unfortunately its the same nonsense. Ill stick to ordering from Amazon - safer, more accurate and ultimately faster anyway.EDIT TO ADD: If you write a negative review, you can expect a phone call from the owner and you shouldnt expect it to be a pleasant part of your day.
My neighboring ACE hardware is a the best store to visit versus Home Depot, Wal-Mart etc... They have everything you need in store and they provide the best customer service that reminds you of the old days when local shops/stores acknowledge the people in the community. I love that about ACE, Johns Creek (Jones Bridge Rd) - Kudos ACE!!!!
I just cant say enough good things about the quality of goods, selection, staff and family that run this home town store. They truly are the best and always go out of their way to meet their customers needs, even when you need delivery! We appreciate your efforts to keep the store shelves stocked and everything you are doing to meet our local needs during the pandemic. 👍 Way To Serve The Community ❤️ Ace Hardware Johns Creek!!! We appreciate you!
Love this little place. Ive found that I can get just about every thing I need without the chore of going to home despot. Soo much easier to park close and walk right in. Everything is nicely laid out, no wandering aimlessly with no idea where to go. Finally, employees that are always within earshot and happy to assist when needed! My wife and kid love it too. We always manage to find a little gift, toy, or nicnack and everyone comes home happy!Save time by shopping here. Its easier to get in and out quickly. Always good prices. I could go on, but just see for yourself.
I cannot say enough good things about my shopping experience with this location. We originally went to Home Depot to look for a grill which turned into a terrible experience with no customer service. I called Ace and they helped me pick the grill over the phone, take my payment and offered same day delivery. Richard was beyond helpful. Richard and AJ delivered the grill to my back patio and it was a breeze to work with them. Please go see them for all your home needs
This store is exceptional despite what the irrational maskholes have to say. Is there a more embarrassing, cowardly bunch of people in America than this ilk?I LOVE that they let their employees and customers choose whether they want to wear masks. I may just go buy another Traeger for the hell of it!Keep it up guys! Real American’s love and appreciate what you stand for.
The store management is utterly irresponsible to the customers and the community which has seen many deaths during this pandemic. None of the staff in the store today had a mask on and one of them even leaned very close to the person in the register line in front of me when answering their question. The customers were masked and clearly uncomfortable.I could understand if they had a mask-optional policy for the customers, thinking that they are trying to survive financially and can’t afford to lose any customers. However, in the community where all the neighboring stores have a mandatory mask policy, it makes no financial sense to have none of the staff wear mask, at least as a courtesy and protection for their customers.
New to the area and needed to buy a grill. Called to see if they were open (they were) and if they sold grills (they did). Richard was very personable, knowledgable and helpful, and we bought a grill, cover and full propane tank via telephone. It was delivered the next day, fully assembled. The delivery guys were very courteous, hooked up the tank, and gave a brief orientation to the grills features. Oddly, the Weber sticker on the lid left a rather obvious shadow when we removed it, which, isnt the end of the world, but, it was a brand-new grill (and fairly pricey). I contacted Richard, who didnt hesitate to order a new lid, which was promptly replaced. Excellent customer service, all-around. Highly recommend!!
My husband and I were very disappointed to see only one employee wearing a mask. These individuals are in contact with strangers all day long and none of them are concerned with the welfare of others enough to wear a mask during a deadly pandemic; its incredibly selfish. We left and took our business to a bigger store. As for the responses that its a personal choice - yes, so is driving without a seatbelt or driving impaired... But at least driving without a seatbelt is only playing with my own life. Youre the business owner and can absolutely require your employees wear a mask just like the police require you wear a seatbelt. Take some accountability here.
Great service, but none of the workers were wearing masks. The nonchalance towards customers health does not make me feel safe to come here again, nor do I want to financially support a place that exhibits that. Also be aware that what the website says is in stock is not necessarily in stock.Edit as a reply to the owner: I am not leaving a negative review over an opinion on wearing a mask, I am leaving a negative review based on the health and sanitation practices exhibited at the store. Is describing the state of the establishment (including health and sanitation practices) really outside the realm of a review?Additionally, I am trying to provide constructive criticism pointing out that without COVID health and safety measures in place, some customers will choose not to come; implementing them may convince them to return. Consider this before invalidating and dismissing the multiple reviews of this same feedback.
Awesome experience. I came in for a second key for my Chevrolet. They not only had the key and fob but were able to program it. It was a fraction of the cost compared to what I could have spent at a dealership. The gentleman that helped me even stayed later to make sure both the fob and key worked. Awesome to get good customer service vs. most big box stores.
SO disappointed with this stores no masks required policy. Walked in today and when I noticed no masks on any employees or customers I turned around and walked right out and spent my money elsewhere. I really try to support local business but I cannot support a complete lack of common sense.
What are great change from having to deal with the chaos of other hardware stores. I found all my painting needs and supplies much easier than going to my usual spots. Very satisfied with their selections and quality of productions. They are like a mini Home Depot but much easier to get in and out with out the crowds and provided great customer service and directions.
These guys/gals are always helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a project big or small, this is the place to go get advice. I would also love to give a shout out for the wonderful effort they made to get my husbands surprise Christmas gift of a grill to me in time and it all worked out perfectly. If you are looking for a grill, get it at this ACE. They assembled my new grill and hauled the old grill away for no additional fee. Thanks!
After trying to get my lawn mower worked on at two other Aces with experiences that left a sour taste in my mouth (to say the least) I decided to make the trip to this Ace because my dad has always spoken highly of them and I am so glad that I did! Evan was incredible to work with and fixed my mower in less than 12 hours (rather than try to sell me something different like at the first one I went to). I will definitely be making the trip back to Johns Creek any time I need repairs from Ace!
Just ran into ACE for the first time since the pandemic began. None of the employees were wearing masks. When I got to the counter I said to the older woman, you know people would feel better if you were wearing masks. Her response was “It’s a personal choice”. I guess so is mine where I shop.
I am a regular customer of this Ace Hardware and have always had a great experience at this Ace - love to support the small, local businesses. Both my boys actually helped them move as part of the JCHS baseball team charity appreciation event a few years back based on their contributions to the JCHS baseball team. However, I have noticed now on three occasions since Corona started, the employees are not taking the CDC guidelines about wearing masks seriously so leaving this review to make others aware so you can make your choice accordingly. This has caused me to stop doing business with this establishment until they decide to begin wearing masks like most other retailers are now doing in the area. Note, I refined my original review based on a phone call with the current manager who cares enough to follow-up with concerned customers. Still no commitment to wear masks but I respect the desire to follow-up on their part. However, I did not respect the private text message I later received indicating this review will now impact their contributions to the JCHS baseball team including using my name the reason why. Quite unprofessional and unrelated to my attempt to let others know this business chooses to not follow CDC recommendations for facial coverings.
I LOVE this store! The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They offer a wide variety of first-rate merchandise. Many years ago, I worked for a wholesale hardware distributor in VA, came to know & appreciate quality hand tools, and these guys have them. Unlike the big box home improvement stores, you never have a problem finding someone to help you. If you want it, they have it. If they dont have it, you dont need it! If you like it cold, they have Yeti and Corkcicle. If you like it hot, they have Big Green Egg. If you like big furry things with paws, take dog treats and youll make friends for life. Great place. Shop there and you wont regret it.
Finally found a place for BBQ propane tank REFILL—not just exchange! And a FULL 20 POUNDS! Not the 15 pound ripoff with the usual tank exchanges! Just a little over 20 bucks (plus tax) Did you know that the 18.99–21.99 (plus tax) tank exchanges are only 3/4 full? They only come with 15 pounds! That’s the tank companies’ way of charging more w/o charging more—like 13 ounce ground coffee (instead of a full pound) and 48 ounce “half gallon” ice cream! The Ace Hardware in Johns Creek is family owned. They are super nice and Richard made sure my tank was as full as it can get. I highly recommend them for all your hardware store needs—and they have an amazing grilling section—all kinds of accessories and grills and competitive prices. Keep the competition to the Big Box stores alive and thriving, and shop somewhere where they know their stuff and care about you because it’s their store, not just a place to show up for a paycheck.
This is a follow up review to my initial 1-star review (now deleted) which provides additional details of the situation for which the original review was submitted. I shopped at the store recently and upon entering was appalled to see no staff following COVID protocol recommendations, i.e. no masks worn by any staff, no plastic shields at registers, no social distancing cues, etc. Upon checking out I discovered the store does not honor military service by providing a small discount as nearly all hardware stores do (i.e. Buford Ace, Decatur Ace, all Lowes and Home Depots) and used an obscenity (through my mask) to express my dismay. I then asked why no staff were wearing masks and was told that basically they cannot sell hardware in masks (the Buford Ace can). After leaving the store I submitted my initial 1-star review. The store management contacted me using, I assume, my Ace rewards info and threatened to contact my place of employment’s HR about my behavior unless I removed my review. I called and apologized and discussed the lack of military discount and COVID precautions with the store manager. My wife also submitted a review which elicited another HR threat from store management (as if I can control what my wife does…). Fact of the matter, the store management does not seem to take the COVID pandemic seriously and they do not provide a military discount, thus the reason for a 1-star rating.
Found what I was looking for; however, very disconcerting that this merchant does not exercise proper precautions against COVID-19. No employees (owners) had on a mask. Very poor way to show concern for customers and extremely poor way to represent Benjamin Moore Paint and Ace Hardware as a company. The companys responses alone show unprofessional this location is and that they have NO regard for their customers. If they did, they would not regard it as a personal choice, rather appreciation for the well-being of their customers in light of a pandemic in which 6 million in the U.S. are now infected. Yes, very disconcerting, as I was quoted.
Top notch customer service! So lucky to have found eclipse glasses available at our local Ace Hardware! Thanks again!!! Also to those that are complaining about the price- yes the solar eclipse glasses were priced high just as everywhere else everyone looked for them online at the last minute because locally they were sold out - actually I saw one pair of paper eclipse glasses on Amazon now for $99.95. Ace hardware had to order the glasses themselves at the last minute and Im sure their price had increased- I I felt stupid that I did not order it myself ahead of time and I would have gotten them free at the library or for $1 or $2 everyone else in line felt pretty much the same way but we were all grateful to have gotten them at all when they were sold out locally everywhere else.
Made it to the door and noticed that no one was wearing a mask in the store, including employees, so I left. I just had a family member pass away due to covid and this ace hardware doesnt appear to think its necessary to do its customers the basic courtesy of wearing a mask. I wont be returning.
I received beyond excellent service. It was busy and I was in a hurry and the sales team worked together the satisfy all of us customers completely and quickly. The parking lot filled and emptied in less than 15 minutes. Paint supply, Christmas light , key copy ... customers in and out in minutes.
While their customer service is always very good, watch out for prices. I can handle being a little higher vs home depot/lowes for the convenience, but Ive experienced to situations lately which were pretty bad. One, I brought in my pressure washer to be fixed. I was told a part had to be replaced and it was going to cost almost $200. I took it to a small engine repair shop and it only needed a cleaning. $60 later Im out the door. Second, they are gauging for the solar eclipse glasses. $15 each when they were $2 a couple weeks ago. Again, fine if you want to make a few bucks off them, but thats a hell of a markup just because you can. Nice neighborhood store, huh?
We do not usually frequent this Ace, but did so for deck stain. My husband was appalled by the lack of safety measures; no masks, no distancing, no limit on number of customers. When he questioned an employee upon checking out, he was told they cannot do their jobs and wear masks. This Ace also offers no military discount. We always attempt to support Ace, as a smaller, local store, however, we will never visit this Ace again.
I do a lot of weekend warrior work around my home myself, and sometimes I need help with how to complete something. The staff at Johns Creek Ace Hardware is routinely pleasant and helpful. On the rare occasion that I have had an issue with a product or service, they have always made it right. Bottom line for me, love having them as an option to the big box stores (in fact I am tending to go there more and more to avoid those), and their location is great.
Very pleased with the customer service. We purchased seventeen bales of pinestraw. The first ten were fine; the second set of seven were full of dirt and debris. The manager on duty, Richard, offered to exchange or refund all seven bales. He even recommended the best time of year to purchase this item. Will shop here again.
The first time I shopped at this ACE was about three months ago. After having multiple negative experiences at my local ACE, a co-worker recommended this one to get a car key cut. This ACE is close to my office.I had the blank key that needed to be cut. My local ACE wanted $80.00 to cut the key ONLY. Remember, I brought the blank key. The dealer quoted me $75.00.A friend had a key cut for her car after ordering the remote online and programming it herself. This Ace, in Johns Creek, charged her under $15.00 to have the car key cut.Long story short. This ACE only charged me $25.00! Key works perfectly. On top of that, they were VERY nice, courteous, and like myself, could not understand the price difference.Last week, I shopped at this ACE for some batteries. They were busy, but acknowledged I was there. At one point, the customer behind me in line, who also happened to be one of the employees father was in the store, helped me while the employees were helping other customers.Once one of the employees became available, he apologized for the wait, finished helping and thanked me. Even offered a work around to my battery issue that would not have cost me anything. After the service I received, I decided to go the route that would require a purchase. :-)These people are soooo great!! All friendly, professional, and EXTREMELY polite and helpful!
SECOND UPDATE: I wanted to update this review to reflect this business as a whole and not just one interaction with a previous employee. Since my last review Ive been back to this Johns Creek Ace Hardware a few times, and I have to say, It has been great. Prompt knowledgable friendly service sum it up. Its an excellent family run business that I am happy to support!UPDATE: The first Time I went to this Ace Hardware, the owner and his staff were friendly and sold me the stihl ms170 chainsaw that I came in for. It was a solid customer experience...quick and friendly. The second time I stopped by was 8 days later, when I finally put my new chainsaw to use and it wasnt functioning correctly. The owner was not present, and the Stihl Chainsaw parts/service manager came up short to say the least. It prompted me to leave a poor review that was really a direct reflection of my second experience (you can find the original review below after the asterisks). After that review I received a call from the owner to discuss the incident. Overall he was bummed on this incident was hoping I would reconsider the review based on our first interaction. I decided to wait, for a revision, until after I had another customer experience there. I walked in to get a chainsaw sharpener, the owner recognized me, brought up that review, and was ultimately helpful in helping me get the exact sharpener I needed. So overall at this point Im giving 3 stars and will improve that based on future experiences.Old Review below:**********************************************************************Ron, the Stihl chainsaw Parts/Service Manager In John’s Creek ACE Hardware, acted like I was a huge inconvenience to his day. He was not friendly, informative, or apologetic . Ron’s customer service skills are garbage which makes me not want to patron Johns creek ACE.My interaction: I brought in my Stihl ms170 chainsaw i had purchased 8 days ago. I explained the saw would stall after 3 minutes and not restart. Ron looked in the fuel tank and took it to the back. He came out and didn’t say anything to me. The mechanic comes out and grabs a can of 2 stroke fuel off the shelve and says, “it’s out of gas”. I say “I don’t think that is the problem. Ron says in a super short unfriendly manner “I seen it was out of gas”. I say “well this is my second Ms170 and I know what it’s like to run out of gas”. He says “the mechanic will figure it out.” A few minutes later he says “we have to check it in.” It ended up having a bad carburetor. I havent had a problem with the saw since.Anyway, with brick and mortar failing everyday why wouldnt you want to treat your customers with respect and friendliness. One star for Ron and his bad customer service.
I recently had an annoying issue of a stripped screw in my flat screen TV. I called the store simply to request some insight on what would be the best tool to buy to remove this screw so that I didnt damage my television. Immediately Jake was eager to help and very understanding. Not only did he help me, he saved the day by telling me to bring the TV in and he would remove the screw. I was elated and most apprecaitive. He took the heavy TV out of the car, removed the screw and then when I offered to pay him something he told me NO CHARGE!!!! This is customer service at its finest. This Ace has a hometown feel that you can tell they really care about and value their customers. I would go back again and again, just for the warm southern hospitality and expertist of this store! My mother and I thank you Again Jack for your help and warm heart!!
Rude and always sure they know what the are talking about, but still have to return or exchange 50% of the items they suggest (even with pictures of the item I am replacing.) Even with a receipt, they always question the return; not that way at The Home Depot. Unfortunately, I purchased a Stihl product from them. I ended up going to the store in Suwanee and got exactly what I needed. It is also unfortunate that Stihl is such a fine product, with poor representation. From now on, I will go to the Suwnee location for all my Stihl needs.
Yesterday I took my Stihl edger in for service. They diagnosed the problem, had the parts in stock, and showed me how easy it is to install myself. Very courteous and professional! This Ace is excellent. Family run. Always clean with plenty of knowledgeable people eager to help.
These folks work hard and offer service from the minute you walk in the door. Toby recently took the time out to assist with my stihl weed wacker and Richard is always asking how he can assist. Have bought my mower and lawn products from them as they care and are competitive. Thanks Ace!
My experience at the Johns Creek Ace Hardware was truly one in a million. In a world where many people are self centered and fast paced the people at Ace Hardware take their time to assist you. The associate who helped me was named Nash. He was a very kind and helpful young man who helped me find what I was looking for. He showed me various products and offered potential alternatives. Workers like Nash are the reason Ace Hardware has been successful. He showed genuine care and concern which isnt common at the larger hardware stores. All in all if youre looking for an incredible experience with people who care look no further than Johns Creek Ace Hardware.
Good people to work with. I wanted to exchange a broom that broke; I had purchased the broom at Ralphs Ace Hardware Store. Ralph usually doesnt take back a broom, once it is used, but he gave me a store credit to buy a new quality broom. Every one was satisfied in the end.
Just went to the Ace Hardware store at Jones Bridge Rd to pick up some items I purchased online. The associate was very rude after hearing that Ive purchased my items online and made me feel uncomfortable to be there. He kept repeating himself stating to just drop by the store to purchase the items, which is fine. He then stated that he might have sold the items that was shipped to the store. After I stood there awkwardly for about 30 seconds, the associate finally said that he knew where my items were and went to the back to look for it. While he was in the back, I could hear cursing and things being thrown around. Finally, he came out with 4 out of 5 items and stated that he couldnt find the last one. I then pointed out that I was standing next to the last item. He looked at the item and in a rude tone, asked me how much I paid for it. I told him the amount and he said why the F*&@!! would they sell it. I felt very uncomfortable with Ace Hardware. I dont think this is how customers are suppose to be treated. I definitely would never go back there again.
Ralph is the owner. Ralph is what you want in a customer oriented friendly cares about his customers owner. You can not go wrong with this guy and what he tries to instill in all his employees. Ralph has definitely earned my business and he will earn yours to. Ralph makes you feel warm and welcome. It is nice to see someone who still cares about customer service!!!!
I have been in this store twice in as many days and I have to say I love, love, love the entire feel of the store, the staff and the owner! There are many young men who work there and they all have a great attitude and work hard. My go to store for everything I need and dont need!! Keep up the great work.
As a medium/high risk due to kicking cancers butt last year - I make an ADULT CHOICE to spend my money at this Ace Hardware instead of the big box stores - Because they allow an ADULT CHOICE on the mask issue.Agree or not - Unconstitutional mandates (both left and right) are the REAL threat to our Republic and our personal freedoms - Which myself and tens millions of others swore an oath to defend and protect - Against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC.Carry on...
I have mixed results with this store. Everyone is friendly and helpful when I go here (I do prefer this to HD or Lowes). Their prices are so-so, but they do give good coupons when you join the ace club or whatever its called. They did ridicule me some years ago for owning a big green egg - they sold some other knock off brand. Justice was served, when they realized their error and plunged both feet into the BGE experience. However, they totally screwed up my mower that I took in for a simple tune-up. It was running ok, I thought routine maintenance would help it last longer. They did sharpen the blade but it ran more rough than when I brought it in. They actually had taken bolts out of the handle and didnt replace them. I had to gerryrig up something to even push the mower. Lastly they screwed up my self propelled drive. NEVER will I take a mower here. Take it to Keystone instead.I will continue to shop here for my other hardware and BEGE needs.
I brought in a blower for carburetor repair and the gentleman working at the repair booth said it was not worth the money to fix my blower. He was only intrested in me buying a new one, very poor service I will never come back.If you need equipment repair, look elsewhere.
I left a review about 2 months ago saying how awesome they are, came back to leave another amazing review.... cant find my first one... but wanted to let you know how I LOVE your store.... no matter what I need, you can find it for me. customer service is top notch..... now with the NEW bigger store you carry everything!!!!!!!!! congrats on new location and thank you for helping me...

The young girls who work here are suprising knowledgeable. I came into the store with what I thought was a weird request. I told them what I needed and they took me right to it. They even took it out of the package for me. Thanks, if I am in this area again, I will know where to go for hardware.

2021-11-28Great experience with this team helping me pick out paint type for my living room. I went from a grey to a vibrant green teal. Initially the color match was not correct. But the team fixed it right away. Thank you to Richard, his brother and the team.

2022-07-08A true neighborhood hardware store- walk in and ask any store member if they have something and they immediately tell you what aisle and how far down, and take you there without having to check an app on their phone first! Stop here before you go anywhere else especially if you need something for your Green Egg or Traeger, or even a birthday present for a kids birthday party. Their pricing isnt out of line with the mega stores either. They have excellent paint and lawn equipment, and most other things but will order anything for you that you want if they dont carry it in-store.

2022-03-11This has been my local hardware store for the past two years, as it’s closest from my house. I also like that Ace Hardwares are franchise owned/run by families. I’m usually finding myself driving here in the middle of projects where I’m missing one or two tools or equipment. Owners and staff are always really nice: courteous, helpful, and always make good recommendations and help you save money. I also like seeing their dogs around the shop every now and then.

2022-02-16I have always had great service from these guys. Bought a grill and a bunch of power equipment for the yard. They are the go-to spot for most of my little repairs around the house. The price can sometimes be a little higher than the orange guys, but you are getting a lot better, more knowledgeable service.

2022-02-14I ordered a new Weber grill through a certain national competitor, which was a complete disaster. The delivery experience was lackluster (not the kind of people you want to welcome into your home) and the grill they delivered (or, more accurately, plopped down on my deck) was patently damaged and should have never been presented to the customer. The replacement was backordered for several weeks and would have required me paying for a replacement before they would even consider accepting a return of the defective one. Are you kidding me?Since I was paying for a replacement anyway, I called Ace Johns Creek that morning to ask if they had that particular model Weber grill in stock (yes) and could they deliver it soon (sure, within a couple of days). Sold. I drove to the store later that morning to complete the purchase and the salesman said to me - actually, is it ok if we bring it today?. Umm, yea, of course. And when I say today, THE DELIVERY GUYS BEAT ME FROM THE STORE TO MY HOUSE! Then hooked up the grill to my natural gas line and made sure it was absolutely perfect before they left. I think they spent around 30 minutes just more or less shining it up for me - and, unlike their competitor, were very professional young men. Compared to the service received from the lowesest standard competitor earlier that day, I was just stunned.Just wow.To heck with the national competitor. Im a customer of this Ace Hardware now. Well done, guys.

2021-10-26This store is best one of ACE Hardware stores. Better than Home Depot even! I walked in to make new auto keys cutting. All staffs are very nice and said welcome. The locksmith is so professional and copied the keys quickly. He followed me to make sure keys is working right. Perfect service! Thanks All of you !

2021-11-26Absolutely LOVE this store! I so appreciate the owner’s willingness to stand up for his beliefs & standards, without caving to the insane demands of our current population. Way to represent Real America, the one that everyone seems to be trying to erase! I will make it a point to bypass all the other Big stores & drive the extra 10 miles to give this Johns Creek Ace location my business. I will also encourage all of my friends, family & coworkers to do the same!

2021-10-14Bad online pick-up order experience explained and turned to a learning and good experience, please read all to learn what to do if this happened to you.Decided to give this store a try as its conveniently located near my office and I can go during lunch. I placed my order on 10/12 for an item that is in stock and to take advantage of the rewards member 15% off promo. Next morning, 10/13, my order was first placed on backordered/out of stock. Minutes later it was canceled. All notifications were via email.I called the store minutes after and asked if the item was available. They confirmed that it was. This was pretty weird and I felt confused and a little annoyed. I ordered again through my go to store near home and it got confirmed and ready for pick up within hours. The following day the owner of this store called me to explain that there Ace Hardware Store doesnt have the power to accept, decline, or cancel orders. He said everything is done by a different company department offsite and they are just utilized like a fulfillment center. So we discovered there might be a glitch or a mistake was made by Ace Hardwares system or the personnel behind accepting and assigning orders to stores.SO PLEASE - if this happens to you, call this store and ask for a manager/owner, they will gladly fix everything for you and even apply the 15% off promo that you might have missed out on. This locations owners are very passionate to getting their customers 100% satisfaction.I hope ACE Hardware corporate/tech can fix this glitch so this store doesnt suffer more negative impacts like order cancellations and, in turn, decreased revenue.

2017-01-31My neighbors recommended this store to me to get my lawnmower serviced. Not only did they do a great job but they also have a pickup and delivery service which is very helpful for me. This store turned out to have a very friendly staff so I am now one of their customers!
