I had the shrimp with fries, hush puppies and slaw for lunch. It was fresh, delicious and the service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The unsweetened tea was fresh and a large serving. The prices were reasonable for the serving size. I highly recommend. I’d go back.
The best seafood ever. They have fresh fish and the cook is the best at preparing anything you order. I had the grilled trout and new potatoes and my husband had the fried catfish and I would highly recommend both. We are from Nashville but I would drive there monthly just to eat.

Disabled Veteran with Service Dog refused service!Cannot rate the food as they profusely, rudely and arrogantly refused service to a disabled veteran with a service dog by staff and owner, they continued to argue that the “dog” was not allowed. Even when the ADA laws were mentioned, the owner continued to refuse and stated to take your business elsewhere!This is by far the worst I have ever been treated anywhere but in Northern Georgia… It was beyond shameful behavior.

Always a pleasant experience with great wait staff and delicious seafood! This location is so popular -- do not attempt to come at 7:00pm as they close at 8:00pm and usually are not taking additional customers as no tables are available. The food is freshly prepared, house salads are quickly ready, well worth the little extra time to get quality dishes!
Nothing fancy. service was good, Halibut was excellent.wife had shrimp scampy which was average at best.Sides of Okra were over fried. I would not go back for the price I paid for any average dinner. They do not serve beer or wine.
Not bad, but not great either. Ill drive to Canton or Jasper for my next seafood fix.
The manager at Jolly Rogers is awesome. Called to place a curb side pickup because we both had Covid. She took our order, and when we got there she personally brought it out. Would not let us pay. She said she serves an Awesome God and told us to enjoy our food. Very kind!
On a suggestion from a local, we tried this out. A great casual seafood restaurant with excellent food and lots of it! We had popcorn shrimp, grilled shrimp, salmon, and grilled shrimp. All 6 of us enjoyed our meals. We will travel the hour and a quarter to come again
Drove a hour to eat,waited 1/2 to sit because not a lot of seating area. Couldnt believe the prices but thought they give you a fair amount for the price, nope small portions of meat and 2 small red potatoes, 2 the size of a golf ball. 2 hushpuppies, I mean come on even Captain Ds gives you 3. Order a salad as the second side didnt bought to bring it until we mentioned wheres the salad. Wont be back.
This is by far one of our favorite places to eat. I hate that they moved 15-20 minutes further away, but were happy to make the extra drive. The food is amazing and not badly priced, especially if you get the speedboat of the day. Cant wait to come back, again!
Growing up in Florida, I’ve had plenty of great seafood. WOW, what a gem in the mountains this place is. There are plenty of places in Florida that don’t have this many varieties of fish to choose from.
Awesome! We have eaten there several times. They always tell us 40-45 minute wait, of course we have always waited. We are usually seated within 15 minutes and have our food within 15 minutes. We havent been there for 45 minutes...from waiting to leaving.😃 Best seafood 🍽🍤🦞
Some of the best seafood i have ever eat. And the amount of Food they always serve us is REALLY amazing. Most of the time we have to get a to go bag.

No hello, no K.M.A. just leave!I showed up for lunch at 2:06 pm. Restaurant closes at 2:30. Told the kitchen deliverd its last service and was closing.Your kidding right? NOPE. To go Order? NOPE!Ill say this same greeter has snarled many times in the past. If you post hours, live by them or change your closing time to 2:00.Id say Vote With Your Wallet!Shame... great food!WENT NEXT DOOR TO PETES.They also close at 2:30. Greeted me with a smile.Placed my order, ate without being rushed.Giving 5 Stars.
Great seafood, big portions
It would be nice if you updated your web page, hours and days open. My friends and I drove quiet a distance, to eat that great seafood to find out yall were not open. Ruined our day.

2021-12-01This place only have about 10 tables. Food prices are reasonable. $20 is enough for an entrees, though the portion may be a bit small, yet adequate. I ordered a combo fried seafood. It has a little bit of scallop, oyster, soft shell crab, etc.This place also sells fresh seafood!

2022-03-14Im a disabled veteran with a Service Dog and we live in the local area. Yesterday when we tried to have dinner at this restaurant, the owner refused to allow us to enter the dining area. Instead, she said we could go sit at the bar in a separate room where there were no tables - only bar stools. We were a party of 4 and there were available tables in the dining area. This is a clear violation of Federal ADA Law. Apparently, this has happened before at this restaurant. See the 1 star reviews by David Tromp and Donald Harriman. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. So, we went to another restaurant downtown and had a nice meal.

2022-06-16👎👎 The Restaurant industry is still the “hospitality” industry, but don’t look for it here! Their hours posted are only 4pm to 8pm. We drove an hour+ and arrived at 7:30. When we pulled up the sigh showed Open but when I got parked the sign was flipped to Closed! I ask what are their hours, and the lady couldn’t give a coherent logical answer. Even when we told them we drove an hour to spend our money there, they happily turned us away! We went straight to Harvest on Main (without a reservation) and they took us in. The food an atmosphere at Harvest on Main was perfect as well as the HOSPITALITY! THANK YOU HARVEST ON MAIN RESTAURANT!! Oh, by the way, our tab was $98.17 for two, and the waiter got a $40 dollar tip!! To the folks at oh Jolly, we’ll never recommend your restaurant or darken the door again!!

2021-12-31We were there at opening on NYE 2021 and watched a disabled veteran with his service dog being refused service. As a veteran myself I took my wife, got back in our car and departed. We went for a lovely meal at Whiskey and Water. Unbelievable turning away a disabled veteran with his service animal. Never worry about anyone I know ever stopping at that establishment again.
