Ive only visited their website. Was trying to schedule an appt for my husband but they were booked so one day Ill book something way in advance so my husband can enjoy!
Since coming to JonPaul’s last year, my hair has never looked better. Whether it’s a haircut or a beard trim, Julie’s attention to detail is unmatched and I always feel comfortable and pampered in her chair.
Julie is great! Takes her time to get to know you and what you want done. She takes the time to make sure its right rather than just giving you a stock cut. Nice place, decent vibe, and they have cocktails!
My first time coming here and received a back treatment, shave, and massage! April was AMAZING!!! I feel like a new man! I will definitely be back to see her! I highly recommend this business for all your male spa needs! Thanks April for the VIP service! 😁
Truly shocked on how bad my experience was. To pay 60 dollars and to still have to go home and shave because the job was so bad. As you can see from the pictures he didn’t even shave against the grain and it still left my whole neck with huge razor burns. Didn’t even shave the back of my neck from the haircut so I have to do that also. It also left my wife very disappointed since this was her Valentine’s Day gift to me. I have no interest in going back and resolving this with them. Lucky for them I didn’t notice this till I got home. Now I have to spend my time trying to reverse this mess!
I started going to Jon Paul’s more than a year ago and I’ve been going at least once a month (sometimes bi-weekly) since then. Keep in mind that I am incessantly frugal but the service here, provided by Quinn, is so excellent that they’ve made a recurring customer out of me; you get what you pay for. This 5 star review is based on a lot of visits with consistent results, so after having been a client for over year I have some legitimate grounds on which to review the business. Highly recommended.
My brother, who is notoriously cheap, goes here and always looks great. The price is well worth it. I wish that they took women clients. They could open a sister salon. This salon decor is stunning. My brother who is on a cane, struggles with the door. I wish that the receptionist would hold the door. That is the only complaint I have. Otherwise, perfect.
Been a client for 10 years and would recommend with my eyes closed. Cathy is the best (if you can manage to find time with her). The place is upscale, clean and very private. They only cut Men’s hair. Their massage service is excellent as well. The staff is hand selected and trained so well that you always feel welcome and relaxed.
Best hair place in the state of Georgia for men. Everybody is so nice and caring. They do a wonderful job and amazing products. Everything about Jonpaul’s is BEYOND EXCELLENT. No matter the staff member, no matter the service, no matter the day, they deliver in a way nobody else can touch. The wall to wall quality is amazing and unmatched. The latest addition to the team, Ashley, can give you a massage that will melt away every bit of stress and pain you may have walked in with; you will absolutely be a new guy when she’s done, and already thinking about your next visit. It’s an amazing experience performed by a truly gifted massage therapist with an obvious passion for her craft and genuine care for her clientele. I strongly recommend giving her a try—you will definitely be glad you did.The rest of the staff is as perfect as ever; you can’t go wrong with any service. If you’re a bald guy like me, go ahead and treat yourself to a straight razor head shave before or after your massage. Hey—you drew the short straw on male pattern baldness; embrace it and pamper yourself. I love this place and (obviously) can’t say enough good about it!
Abrianna was great. Complementary “beverages” awesome! She was super nice and knowledgeable, definitely took her time with my hair/beard. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I may not be able to afford it every time, but I know I will definitely be back. The wife approved as well which is always great! Definitely enjoyed the experience. Thanks.
Just visited for the first time for my haircut with Kelly.Was greeted when I entered and offered a drink while I waited since I was early. The waiting area is nice and the whole shop is very tastefully decorated.Kelly was great and discussed what I was looking for and made great suggestions so that I ended up with a great new look that my wife also loves. I am always stressed when someone cuts my hair for the first time but her confidence made me relax immediatelyThe best thing about the experience is that you dont feel rushed and its a very relaxing time, as well as a great haircut!Thanks again Kelly!
Angela is the best! Fades are her specialty. Ive never had a main stylist in my life, but I cant get my haircut by anyone else now. Been a happy customer since 2017.

Ive been going to Jon Pauls for years. I have curly hair and my entire life its been cut wrong by your run of the mill mens barber shop. The ladies at Jon Pauls know hair and are great to talk with. Not to mention the adult beverages that come with your haircut are an added perk to enjoy!
Abrianna did a fantastic job. She knows how to handle curly hair, which is a rare skill. Shes a master of all other barbering skills as well, as is to be expected at Jonpauls. I usually find it difficult to describe what I want, but Abrianna asks great questions and really gains agreement with me about what I want before starting. The experience is worth every extra penny over a cheapo haircut. Youll feel pampered and tranquil throughout your visit. Cant recommend it enough!
Now I know why every review is 5 stars! Quinn gave me the best haircut I believe I have ever had. I did not know that I normally would have needed an appointment, so it was luck or fate that she had an opening a few minutes after I arrived. Given that I am now, the next day, on my way to meet with a new customer, one of the top 20 banks in the world, I need to look my best. Quinn listened closely to what I wanted, made me feel like I was a regular customer, and provided not only an amazing haircut, but a pleasant, enjoyable hour of conversation. After a hectic day of work, trying to catch up from a vacation, it was relaxing to be pampered. I will be back, and asking for Quinn!

I always have a great experience here. I used to go to discount places like Great Clips for haircuts, but I just cant bring myself to go back to a place like that after starting to go to Jonpauls. I will definitely keep coming back.
Whatever service Im there for, whenever Im at Jonpauls, I feel like Im the most important member of a great mens club, only without the outrageous dues!The place itself is masculine yet elegant but in no way pretentious.The service is top-notch too! If I walk in in shorts they treat me as if I was in my best suit.Dino is an AMAZING barber and gives not just a great haircut but a full-on pampering.I have never really ENJOYED getting my haircut. I like my hair a bit longer than most men my age, but I LOVE getting it cut at Jonpauls.
I came here thinking I was going to get a good hair cut; overpriced, but good. I left feeling like they undercharged me. Not only was the haircut stupendous, but the service is excellent, the establishment is superb, the extras such as washing and conditioning your hair, a face and neck rub, applying a hot towel...all those things you think you would never enjoy just put Jonpauls over the top. Yes, I will be going back again and again.

Such Wow! I came in for full service. Got haircut from Kelly, beard trim from Dino, and a massage. Where has this place been mg whole life. Spa for men. Kelly really has an attention to detail and even trims your eyebrows and taught me to use product on sides then work to back and top. Dino taught me to square the goattee I had no idea.Highly recommend. Professional high end spa for men. Make an appointment ahead of time.

The lady was friendly but she couldn’t cut my hair the way I wanted. Quinn cut my hair very short and now I’m looking terrible. Not worth a $40 haircut. It’s overpriced for what they offer. Won’t visit them again for sure!
The best two hours of my month. Start with a relaxing message by April. Finish with a haircut and pampering treatment extraordinaire by Cathy. After moving out of the area, I still travel 45 miles from Dahlonega to get my monthly Me time. Simply the best!
Lets be real, men; we enjoy being pampered too sometimes. If theres a male equivalent of a manni-petti its Jonpauls.It has the classic vibe of an Edwardian study and you are offered a drink upon checking in. The chairs are vintage and comfortable.Each stylist Ive worked with has been excellent. Its nice to go to a hair place that doesnt treat mens cuts as a formality. And they offer more than just haircuts, they do beards, straight razor shaves, massages, etc.Sometimes a guy wants better than the GenericClips at the local mall; Jonpauls is where you go to get it.
After bouncing around to a few salons, I found Jonpauls through a referral. I met Caitlin and now Im a customer for life. If youre looking to find a new place, you wont be disappointed. Just dont book with Caitlin, I need her to be available to me :)
Finally there is a spa for men. Ive been going here for several years and its a much nicer experience than a generic place like Great Clips. Ask for Bre Powers to get your hair cut and your beard trimmed and tell her I sent you. You will come out looking like a million bucks.

My son bought me a haircut for my birthday 4 years ago. I have gone back every month since. What a great and relaxing atmosphere to spend an hour away from work. Breanne Powers has consistently done an awesome job with my curly hair. XM radio, beer, wine et al make for a very good value.
Classic barber chairs, rich dark wood and a glass of beer or wine, this is the place to go for an excellent haircut, massage and a straight razor shave. Its not the cheapest service, but its absolutely the best value for your money.

Excellent service this is a hidden gem in Johns Creek. I recommend that all men visit this place. This is men only spa and grooming services. Ask for April, old time barbers hot shave. They give you a drink when you walk in
People were friendly, atmosphere and bonuses with haircut were nice. Though 50$ isnt justified or do the other services overcompensate for a subpar haircut. A simple request like trim around the ears wasnt fulfilled.
Great experience and environment. My beard cut started a bit late but the staff was super accommodating and it was a great overall experience for my beard line up and haircut.

More interested in talking than giving a decent haircut. Completely disregarded the cut I asked for, messed up my hair asked for one layer and its cut in patches. Truly disappointed and waste of time and money.
Doesnt get any better than spending the day at JonPauls. From April to Cathy to Willa, I am not sure how you could be treated with more personal attention anywhere else. It is always a great time there and I look forward to my next visit.

This place is a high-end experience. I used to go to the Boardroom for last 3 years (not going back). JonPaul provides the service, quality and experience which is the best in Atlanta. April provides all the spa grooming services and keeps me coming back. My wife loves my hair, nails and how relaxed I am after my visit at JonPaul. 1st class service and a real man’s place for the high-end individual.

2022-08-11Im giving April 5 Stars and a 10 + rating as a massage therapist. She gives the necessary attention to detail when adjusting various parts of the body and in a way that can actually help your pain points feel better. I always ask for deep tissue massages. I didn’t realize how tight my body was until the session was over. Her 20 plus years experience is key to her profession. A great, friendly, clean, upscale establishment. You will not be disappointed.

2022-08-11I have been going to Jonpaul’s for a number of years. I have always been pleased with both the signature haircuts: Quinn and Mary Ellen, as well as the massages with April. Also the ladies up front, Rachel and Maryann are wonderful. All of them are extremely professional and do a excellent job. I highly recommend this business.

2022-05-24Experience was awesome! I liked the hairdresser and staff and the setting was very good and it was overall a great experience. When I got home I realized the hairdresser made a mistake but I called in and Angela fixed the issue and they refunded me and were super super helpful. Would recommend this place to everyone!!!!

2022-08-10From walking into the door being offered a drink to leaving in a better state of mind John Paul’s has you covered. Personally I would recommend Mary Ellen as her attention to detail and ability are both second to none, a very talented stylist. With that being said the John Paul standard is set and embodied throughout the whole staff so you can’t go wrong with whoever you decide to share your first or likely next John Paul’s experience with.

2020-01-10This is a place for men. Believe it or not, such a thing still exists.I scheduled a haircut here on the recommendation of a friend. As I am somewhat particular about how my hair is cut and its grey blended, it was a bit of a leap to go somewhere new. I am glad that I did.Being asked if I would care for a cocktail upon check caught me completely off guard. The well-appointed sitting area with coffee bar was a bit of a throwback to the better days of the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead (may it rest in peace).My first haircut was better than I hoped. My second, close to perfection. I am looking forward to the next.The haircut is only part of the experience; this place deserves a bit more time. Their treatments are top-notch, as in resort spa level top notch. Having your back walked on as part of a deep tissue massage is something we all deserve from time to time.

2017-05-13Attention to detail and very thorough. There is only one guy that specializes in full beard treatment, Deno. Lindsey has done my hair a few times and she is wonderful. When you wall in, it is inviting and male space; free alcohol beverages while you wait. I go once a month!
