This is the place for all Book Lovers!!! If you need a book or just want some information on any kind off book this is the place to go. Alek and Tommy are extremely knowledgeable and very informative on past, present and future knowing of all genres of books. If your just looking for a place to drink coffee and enjoy friendly conversation this is also the place to go. I myself found the love of books and it started 9 years ago when Alek recommend a book for my son based on a few question he asked about my son from that point on my whole family now enjoy reading the same books and everyone for the last 9 years have been great reads!! Books for all ages and for all interest. Come on down and have the best cup of coffee in town and submerged yourself with great books and great conversation! Thanks Alek and Tommy for always going out of your way to keep us motivated and fueling our passion for the art of reading!!
It had that old-fashioned bookstore feel to it. The store felt a little eccentric, but overall it smelled like old books (I mean that in a good way.) and it was neat to walk around.
Highly collectable 1st print editions and collectable books, to old paperbacks, new and used, you will find something here that you like. The service cannot be found in today’s world, it is above excellent. The staff just love books, and read the books they sell. No matter what genre of book, you will find it here. If you are a book collector, look no further, Judy Bugs has some very rare volumes. I love the atmosphere and the people, and the coffee is great.
This is were I bought my first Bible. Even though I purchased only one item, I enjoyed my visit. They have a wide variety of new, and used book. That you very much.

Guy at the counter was rude and had no clue what books or authors he had in stock. The incense smell was overwhelming and yet didnt cover the musty smell. Im sure the organization of the books made sense to someone, but it wasnt me. Or, apparently, the guy working there
When my mom was my age, she always went here and would grab a good book. Now, 30 years later, I go here and read books, enjoy tea, and talk to the very nice owner!
Great store! Felt very homey! A small town feel. I loved that it wasnt a big chain store. The gentleman was very knowledgeable & kind! What a treasure!
Smells like smoke. I sold some books here once and the man tried to rip me off telling me to call back another time overtime I called. My husband called up there and asked where the books were and he already had them priced and shelved. We threatened to call the cops and the man gave me my money. Zero Stars. Thieves and Liars.
Wow. The ability for them to reccomend titles based on what you want, then proceed to tell you what to avoid and so on - wonderful. Awesome place to shop, low prices, too.

2022-06-28Visited friends in Columbus, Georgie and wanted to check out the local book scene. This is my favorite type of used bookstore, a litte dirty but with stacks of books you get to dig through. The owner was very knowledgable about genre fiction and knew specific authors I asked about, which is a good sign that youre spending your money in the right place. I wish they listed their books on Biblio so I could order out-of-state, but it is what it is.

2022-01-16A must visit if youre visiting Columbus. Its what you would look for in a nice little nostalgic book shop. The owner rolls Natural 20s when it comes to his Charisma. He is an absolute pleasure to talk to. Very knowledgeable and great at offering some fun reads.

2015-03-23This is a book lovers dream and one of the things I enjoyed most when I lived in Columbus. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable about the books they sell. Every time I visit, I feel like I am going to some sort of enchanted wonderland of books, which is pretty cool, considering how small the place is. It has a very indie feel to it and I love supporting the store every time I go. If you are a book lover I highly recommend it, especially if you want to buy a lot of books (their prices are dirt cheap!). I have never has a bad experience at this bookstore. :D

2019-01-27Very disappointing. I’m usually a major supporter of mom and pop book stores, but this one just failed my hopes. Selection of books leaves much to be desired and service isn’t as nearly as helpful as one would have liked. Bathrooms are incredibly horrible and disgusting. The couches, however, are really comfortable and you are more than welcome to sit down and enjoy a good read. Other than the couches, the places doesn’t have a whole lot to offer.

2020-02-15I absolutely LOVE this place... tons of books new and used. The atmosphere is perfect for a dorky book lover like myself. Have been in a couple of times and enjoy it immensely. I will certainly be a regular here!

2018-08-02I rarely give 5 stars, but this bookstore is a must for book lovers. Alek will educate and entertain through his extensive knowledge of the best reads and finds. Cozy, well organized, and a wonderful assortment of old and new books.
