Cant go wrong at this little gem. Great location, lots of food for the buck, cheap prices, and the food is awesome. Our favorite meal is the carne asada torta, which is beef, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and guacamole on a huge hoagie bun.Absolutely delicious and a huge meal for about $8. Wash it down with a cold glass bottle of coca cola. Best meal ever.Highly recommend.
Our First visit was at the end of the day, I had the chilaquiles plate it was made fresh. Two over hard/medium eggs on top of the chilaquiles with rice and beans. It ……well I was going to write a good review until I received the check and was proceeded to get ripped off. I paid $12 bucks for the chilaquiles then $18 for a side of rice and beans with a side of grilled nopales(btw the side of rice and beans is listed on their menu at $3.50. I will not be coming back!!!!!We enjoyed our food and they were very nice, but they definitely stuck it too me. Definitely our last visit!!!
Update- came here a few more times after my last review but I dont plan on going back. Went in the other day during the evening, the waitress clearly saw us sit down, walked by a couple times and ignored us. Never once came over to get drink orders or anything. So we walked out. Will not be returning! Giving one star now. If I could give 0 I would! Oh, and theyre prices are screwed up too! We order pretty much the same thing every time weve went and each time its a different price!I love coming here, the food is great but they really need more servers because the service is so slow. I went last weekend. Waited 15 min for the server to come take my order then another 30 minutes to receive my food.
So I need to do my review of this restaurant. Maybe it just takes asking questions in order to get what I want. Didnt know there was different regions of were the birria Is made. Im used to a deep red color. My order was excellent this time and my tacos ( asada) were awesome. The girl behind the counter was very kind
Was waiting at a table that needed to be cleaned off for 20 mins. A short blonde hair waitress pass our table twice and said Ill be right with you. The 3rd time she went pass out table she knocked a bottle of cleaner spray on me and then yelled at another employee to put in in the back because it didnt belong out where the customer were eating. She didnt even acknowledge the fact she hit me with it. Me and my family finally got just decided to go somewhere else because the service was so bad and the attitude of that waitress was horrible.
Raw meat and waited for food to come and was cold. Just bad experience. When ask to talk to the manage the lady ignores us and brush us off . The manager then tell us he wont charge us for those raw tacos but after spending 15 minutes trying to get a solution. It not worth the time or money going here.
When I went into the restaurant one of the workers didn’t fully wash their hands, did not use soap and only rinsed. The food was good but terrible servers, were judging us and giving me looks. I also drop soda on accident and they saw the soda but did not bother to help. And they will charge you 12 dollars to tip. A scam.
I love this place. Tortillas are fresh and soft like a cloud. Ive tried most of the menu and its all good . The burritos are the size of a medium sized child. I almost always get the same thing when I go. A red chili pork, a steak, and a chicken soft taco loaded with fresh onion and cilantro from the salsa bar. One little container of the darkest sauce and three lime wedges. One wedge per taco and sauce to taste. Be careful though the heat varies from batch to batch so dipping a finger and checking is a smart move. Good food thats inexpensive and served with a smile. If you havent been youre missing out.
The dirtiest place we have probably ever been.We did eat here but would never go again! The food was okay at the best.Tacos were soggy and the meat was below average in quality. The bar for the salsas and toppings was disgusting and when we tried to order guacamole we were told it was all on the bar!The only guacomole on the bar was some type of green sauce stuff.Just was overall a sad experience as we were on vacation and this place had good reviews online. We expected much more from them.
The corn tortillas were freshly handmade but I dont particularly care for the large size. My tripe and tongue tacos were quite bland and lacked flavor. The chicken tacos were super dry. They have a nice lunch/meal counter bar, which looks ideal for hard working men to get a hot meal without the fuss of a table and waiter. The service was fast and friendly. I was in the area or else I would drive a bit further to my favorite, Taqueria el guero, or tacos la villa.
The servers look like theyre going crazy they need to be fired and take 1hr to serve u a drinkNo social distancing in the space at all booths need at least plastic dividers and more sanitation dont know how they pass inspection!!!!!!! Very dissatisfied and disappointed
The food is really good. They do an awesome job. The service can be a little crappy sometimes they need more help. They should have a way where people are greeted when they enter The Establishment so that theres someone paying attention to people who havent have not been served. There are a lot of people that walked out on the time that I was there and that can put a hurting on anyones business.
Delicious authentic Mexican food, wonderful service. However gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it needs to be cleaner to serve the public. Got there when they 1st opened & guessing thats as clean and organized as it gets. Outside entrance, Floors, Bathrooms, & storage area in the back needs attention.
Excellent authentic Mexican food. I eat at both locations and if I had to say which one is better Id probably pick the Terrell Mill location. They have a few more items that Roswell St. doesnt have. But both locations have some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. These folks are proud of their food and they should be. Other restaurants should take note of how these folk operate because they get it right every time! Great food thats priced right and served by wonderful people! Enjoy!
I prefer a corn tortilla over a flour one, but these were incredibly on point. They’re authentic and served with cilantro and onion. I got a barbacoa taco and a chorizo/asada taco. They were both delicious but the chorizo/asada was out of this world. Flavorful and fragrant.
Authentic Mexican food. Handmade tortillas. I like the tongue taco and tripe tacos the best. Chitterlings tacos?!!! You can go for the usual chicken or beef if you would like. They have a great spicy pork short rib that I enjoy. I am a usual there. Beware, the tacos are big so 2 or 3(if you are greedy) will be enough. I am getting hungry just thinking about the place.
Felt like the cook rushed through everything and sacrificed a lot of quality. My burrito was not rolled well so I ended up eating everything inside with a fork and having a tortilla on the side. They were out of onions, cilantro and salsas on the salsas bar...???Also I watched the cook they saw steak on the grill, smush it down with his hand, and keep on cooking. He never washed. Im fully expecting to be sick later.Enough competition in the area, Ill make the drive to Tacos La Villa going forward.
Back about 8 years ago I ate here and while I was eating there was a roach on the wall. As a result, I stopped going there, then I decided to give them a second chance today, and the same thing; another customer requested that the waitress remove it, which she did after I moved from my table. After such, she asked if everything was okay, which I told her my story and she apologized. I requested my check, and didnt request a discount or anything. Shortly thereafter, the waitress comes with the tab and tells me I am sorry for the inconvenience, I told both of the owners and they didnt care, I am sorry. I didnt ask for a discount, and was not even going to post a review, but after what she told me, without me requesting an explanation, is what has lead me to go ahead and post a negative review for this taqueria. Even after this as I was heading out, there was a dead roach at the bottom of the salsa bar which clearly no one had picked up as there were small ants there, but clearly it was visible. It is upsetting that they treat their customers in such a manner, while the food is good, the restaurant needs to take care of this issue as clearly it has not.
Services SUCKS, TAKES to long for some one to even notice your here. To long to take orders to long of a wait to get food and to long of a wait for the check to leave. Food is HORRIBLE i ordered a torta and you know whay they gave me... 2 pieces of bread full of beans 5% meat and 8% poorly cut what im going to assume is lettuce. To top it off they love to charge twice and act surprise when you bring the recipt and bank statment that they charged twice. Its a very inconvenient place so dont even think about going here unless you know the owner or waiters thats going to be the only way to get any thing close to good service
I’m Puerto Rican & came here to try a new taco spot. Do not come here, no AC, no waitress/waiter. They all just walk around & stare @ you .... When someone finally helped me out, I ordered 2 barbacoa tacos, with seafood soup. Everything was warm, luke warm. I swear the soup was watered down... & my tacos weren’t barbacoa, no point in having them make everything all fresh? I’ll stick to Las Tortas Locas 🙌🏾 Thanks but no thanks !
Hands down the best authentic taqueria in Cobb. I stumbled upon this place while paying my cell bill (its a shared spot with a metro by T-Mobile store) and after looking at the menu decided to give it a go. First off, the price is insanely low. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, which was only around $3. They hand make the tortilla so it comes out a beautiful golden color with a slight crisp on the outside and its a bit soft and fluffy inside. This quesadilla was overflowing with tasty chicken and cheese. It was absolutely mouthwatering and to top it they have a free salsa bar which feature their own sauces and fresh toppings (lime, cilantro, jalepeno, radish, and more,) one of their sauces is an avocado sauce, similar to a spicy guacamole (amazing.) This place is very casual but does have table service. Oh, I forgot to mention that they sell real cane sugar, glass bottle Coca Cola products. The entire experience was YUM!
Freshest tortillas in the entire Atlanta area!Tucked away in a small plaza on Roswell road, you could easily drive by Julias taqueria and never notice it.Well Im telling you its worth finding!!The cuisine is fresh and flavorful! They have menu items that are difficult to find in this region! Like chilaquiles and huevo rancheros! And the steak and shrimp fajitas are amazing as well! For authentic mexican cuisine, you absolutely must give this place a try!!!

2022-07-31Very disappointed in the food . They were out of everything, and it was barely 7:30 p.m. The chicken tasted old and same as the tripa . The tortillas were undercooked…the waitress was on the phone most of the time, which is not professional at all . I’m not going back there again. I used to love this place.

2020-11-03I was really looking forward to these chicken chilequiles. I am disappointed, to say the least.First off, it’s not chicken, and there is no egg on top. However, they are delicious and perfectly spicy with the green sauce. It’s just not what I ordered.Secondly, I was told on the phone it would be ready in 10 minutes, so I showed up in 10 minutes and still waited nearly 15 minutes for my to-go order (mind you, this was at 5:30pm, and they were not busy).Lastly, this establishment does not serve cheese dip. Like, at all.

2019-11-07Amazing tacos, burritos etc. A real Jewel of a hole in the wall. Pickled onion topping and green sauce are super flavorful. If you are expecting ground beef tacos and plenty of lettuce, this is not the place for you. I tried 3 other places on the same road and this one takes the cake hands down. Fresh tortillas made with super fine dough for every single order! Last time I had a longer than usual wait, and was treated to a super tender pork taco while I waited. I dont think it is on the menu, but it was absolutely delicious.

2018-04-24Honestly, this place was alright. The tacos were regular tortilla size. They do make the tortilla from scratch but it seemed like mine were sitting for a while. The tacos were not all that everyone made them seem. The service wasn’t necessarily the best. I got steak and Pastor tacos. The horchata also seemed watered down. Honestly, I am not sure if it was the time we went at (6:30pm Eastern) or if it was just an off day, but I was not impressed. They do have good salsa. The service here is mediocre--it took a while for someone to come to our table even though the place was empty. I will be visiting here again in the near future during lunch time and hopefully it will be a stellar experience in accordance with all the positive reviews.

2022-04-15I went here for lunch yesterday and was throwing it up by the time I left work 3 hrs later. I asked for everything on it and expected to get some taco sauce atleast, but only got 4 plain tacos. I was only able to stomach 2, I think it was the Barbacoa tacos that made me vomit. after eating that mess my stomach immediately felt different and knew that I would never go come back to this restaurant again.

2022-04-16Locals seem to like the food but me and my family had a terrible experience eating here. There was a ant infestation under our table, only 1 server seemed to be working and was very rude to us. I guess it was under the stress of working alone. Food was terrible as well. I dont know why they thought it was okay to give my father a burnt fish mojara. Server said she did see anything wrong with it when clearly the fish looked like a burnt tostada. She tried to give my father a complimentary tostada ceviche but charged us for it after! Over priced food and bad service. For all the first timers dont go!!

2019-03-15Pretty good Mexican food considering Georgia has a bunch of text mex restaurants and their food is horrible. Everything is made fresh in front of you the only thing I disliked was they put lettuce and side of ritos. Being from California we had rice beans and meat and hours.

2018-11-01The sopes are delicious. The ingredients taste fresh and it was ready in less than 5 minutes! The server is also very curious and was able to explain menu items in detail to me. Unfortunately the parking here isnt too great.. but the food makes up for it.

2022-02-10What a scam. They name their own rip off price for anything they serve. No lunch menu either. They used to be a good deal until some bandito took over and started charging triple (or more) for everything on the menu. It used to be really crowded until they let the waitresses name their own prices. Beware of this scam and go elsewhere.

2020-07-27I got Fresh Tortillas for my chicken tacos, that is a plus. But the chicken did not have any flavor or seasoning. What a disappointment!! I will never come back.
