Yes, its pricey, but it is such a vibe. My friend who NEVER buys clothes actually found cute apparel that fit & was trendy, which says a lot. From lunchboxes to leather catsuits to skull succulent pots to prideflag tye dyes, this zany place has a little of everything (including a mushroom dress I love to pieces). Plus, parking is easy & the graffiti is super dope.
My friend and I went into the back area where the smoke shop was and there was a girlWith glasses and blue hair and and a brunette who were very dry and rude to us in store. When we entered the shop then girl with blue hair made sure to ask if we were over 21. After they didn’t ask if we needed help and made sure they looked “busy” the entire time we were in there. When I asked the blue hair girl with glasses about chillum pipes, she dryly pointed in front of her and kept working. They made us feel like a nuisance to be in there even though we were very respectful. I even said thank you on the way out and they flat out ignored us. They were very happy and cheery when the Caucasian customer before us was in store being served. I had a better experience from the staff at the front. The glass selection was also very small. Don’t recommend.
Nothing inside to my liking. I expected a flea market, but it was overpriced goth stuff. Plenty stuff for the alternative lifestyle, just not for me.After seeing your ignorant response. Again, the Marijuana or whatever in the back and leather goth clothes are just not for me. I understand its Pride month and I respect that, but again none of this was for me. Just like the 10 minutes spent inside your store, this post is a waste of my time
I LOVE THIS STORE !! completely not what i expected. more of an alternative style store less of a junk kinda place ! i was very very excited and was stimming a lot and all i got were smiles :) so happy to have stopped here ! here is the (reversable!!) bucket hat i got :D
I always go here for my platform needs, this time a person name Levi helped me! It was quite an amazing experience. They helped me with the straps and gave me some awesome pointers for taking care of them!Levi went above and beyond, they definitely deserve a raise lol. Thanks for being an awesome shop for the alternative community 🖤
Very cool store!! 🤩😎🥸Lots of interesting things.....Clothing, purses, smoke wear, incense, crystals, toys, knickknacks etc. Beautiful art/smoking gear!Definitely a place to hit if you’re looking for something “different” and “cool” while you’re in Atlanta. (Also, I love the little bohemian district that it is located in called 5 points)Be sure to check out all of the street art behind the building!!
This is a totaly awesome place!! They have everything!! Vintage. New. A totally eclectic place in Little Five Points. If you dont find something here you like you have no idea what you want. Stop in and grab some sweet threads. Grab a cup of coffee next door. If you are hungry walk down to the Vortex for a bypass burger and totchos. So much to see and do in Little Five Points. Something or someone will keep you entertained and having fun.
Very cool store with a huge inventory of clothes, shoes and home decor. The staff are very nice here and definitely helpful when asked any question. I noticed the prices are kind of steep here for some items (some of which are literally on Amazon for cheaper) which is why I took off one star. Overall, great find and definitely worth the stop if youre already in the area (but beware the traffic & drivers around here are CRAZY)
It wasnt really kinda place but it was packed and the line was long to get in . Like almost every place at 5 points in Atlanta this place didnt have a restroom and by the time you finally get in the store if you can find a place to park you have to pee so you have to walk another 1/2 mile to the service station. Anyway it was a very different and unique place to shop and if you like funky its for you !
I have a LONG relationship with this place. Yes, everything is expensive but the stuff is great! There is literally something for everyone (well, everyone with an open mind and a sense of humor). I remember coveting everything here when I was in high school and now my 3 boys ask to visit to get cool novelty toys! And of course, they have Krampus at Christmas so that is awesome!
Came to Junkmans daughter in Atlanta and didn’t even go in!From the outside it looks cool and inviting BUUTT they’re still playing Covid nazis and require you to pay $10 to park only to wait in the cold outside in line because they’re only allowing a certain amount of ppl in the store and you MUST wear a mask the entirety of you visit. It is April 2022We declined and left.We will spend our money at the junk shop in Athens that doesn’t charge parking allows me the right to choose! 🖐bye Felicia
Such a fun place to shop. Update 2/2/20- I have a David Bowie tribute band event to go to. I didnt want to show up in a Ziggy Stardust shirt from Hot Topic. Everyone is going to be wearing a Aladdin Sane shirt. I went to Junkmans Daughter and they had Bowie shirts in mens and womens. I got a shirt with Debbie Harry and David Bowie on it. One of my favorite Bowie pictures. I was so happy to find it there. I bought a Bowie coffee mug and a pillow. There were several other items I could have got. I wish they sold vegan Doc Martens in the upstairs shoe area.Update 4/16/2021- they have a great selection of small plants in the cutest planters.
My friend and I were in town for one day and decided to stop by. So glad we did! What an awesome store. You can find clothes of all styles, a wild assortment of shoes (with a great view from upstairs!), theres a cute section with an assortment of cutesy, NSFW and sarcastic items which make for great gifts, too! I left with a mug and a Golden Girls magnet set for a Christmas gift, and my friend got a cool pair of trousers that she loves!
My family and I were looking for a place to find some Halloween costumes and decorations. Online it says this is the best place to. So me and my kids drive a HOUR to get there. And what do we see. A sign on the door that says CASH ONLY !!!!!. So even though the store was cool. Had great stuff..... didnt matter cause we couldnt buy anything. The manager or owners need to put CASH ONLY on their website. Truly disappointing 😞
Went here to the church of COVIDidians the other day, AKA Junkmans Daughter. After going here for the past 15 years and the past 2 years wearing masks with (no issues). My wife and I were checking out some candles in the back (just the two of us in the back) my wife pulls her mask down to her nose to smell a candle. The mask natzi across the store was waiting to say something… As soon as that mask went down she shouted “mama! Pull that mask up!”I’m sorry but if you can smell a candle through a mask then you can get COVID through a mask. You have more of a chance getting shot outside your store than someone dying of COVID.Y’all need to chill.🤌
Where I am from, we have a place called The RoadShow. This place so reminded me of it, with all the interesting clothing, tapestries and incense. I absolutely loved it. Definitely a neat store for eccentric loving people. Actually, all of the area was full of neat stores. Youre in for an awesome surprise if you take the time to walk around this area!!
What is there to not like about this place?! It’s absolutely one of the best stores in all of Atlanta! Too many things to look at in one trip and the prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend going here before you head to the vortex for an amazing dinner! Parking is always free if you’re ONLY going to this store though.
Immediately upon arrival a nice guy at he front door told us we could not remove our masks. It was decently busy when we got there at 2:30 on a Friday. I was very happy to find lots of great items to choose from. I purchased a necklace that is very unique, something I know no one else will have. Some great stickers for my journal. And some hilarious magnets for the fridge. Ill be coming back again whenever I visit Little Five Points.
One of my favorite shops ever!! The vibe is so cool and there is so much to look at. If I got shopping here I don’t need to for the rest of the day because I find so much! The shoe section upstairs is one of my favorites parts and have gotten some of my favorite shoes from it! Totally in love!
They are good for Halloween costumes and, I guess, in a pinch if you were in need of some vintage clothes, this would be a good place to go. The people who work there are not particularly friendly. Be sure to check out the other stores on the same block! There are other vintage clothing stores just like this within a block!
The place is amazing! They had trendy clothing n stuff like that but the prices were way to high, I spent 380$ In only one bag worth of stuff, they wanted 29-38 for a shirt and 40+ for jeans, yes I understand that you have to make profit but everything was just extremely overpriced, most of the clothing is bought from other websites that are sold cheaper from the original website..they’re just reselling it for a higher price which is understandable but it was way too high. A regular cropped top with no design shouldn’t be almost 40 dollars. Other than that the environment was friendly and kind, amazing service too.
I was in town and stopped by to check the place out. You can definitely spend a whole day and still not have enough time to look through everything. That being said, I purchased a decanter for my liquor in the form of this unique potion bottle. It was listed for $17. Upon inspecting my recent purchase back at my gfs dorm, I realized they had increased the price to $18, unbeknownst to me. To add to that, the cap, which was perfectly fine at the store, was broken. I became aware of this as I was packing my luggage, but by then I had a flight back home to catch and essentially became stuck with this paper weight.
Employees were not considerate of people with breathing issues not being able to wear masks for long periods. I would have spent a substantial amount of money there otherwise. Very disappointing. I understand employees follow guidelines and such but being cussed at and called names for something as simple as a shake of the head is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional and quite honestly very trashy. i will not be spending money in a store or online at a company where the employees are allowed to speak to people like trash. It was very uncalled for and disrespectful. I work in the service industry and I would have been fired for such unprofessional behavior.
This place has everything you didnt know you needed in your life! Be prepared to spend to much time looking at every little thing because its everything is so unique! The staff can be hard skinned but thats because of all the people they have to deal with from every place imaginable. Must stop and see this place if your in little 5 points.
Okay, so Junkmans Daughter is one of my absolute favorite places to visit while in Atlanta! If you like unique and out of the box things and places, this spot is definitely for you! They have such a fun and electric assortment of stuff for reasonable prices! Staff is also really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Levi is who helped me and my partner in the shoe section and I appreciate him so much for taking the time to help both of us with our decisions and making sure that my demonias were laced properly and felt perfect! I have my struggling with the choice to buy them for years but Levi made every step of the process so much easier! Thank you so much!
Amazing. I could have spent $1,000 in there today… except they are only accepting cards. No cash. Which would have been fine, had I known. I decided to take my daughter 3 hours away to shop here for her sweet 16. Handed her $300 in cash and drove her the 3 hours. Ended up fighting Atlanta traffic for an hour trying to find a bank to stick the cash in, but with the drive and time difference we missed the bank. So out of luck, we drove the 3 hours back home empty handed. We were both crushed. It would help if that detail was mentioned on your Instagram or website.
This store is super cool. Fun afternoon grabbing a beer in the ATL and doing a little groovy shopping. I was traveling and stopped in and was sad that I didn’t buy a few things. So I checked them online. They were super helpful through email added what I wanted and shipped it to me. Wish it was closer so I could stroll through more often. Stop in you will be glad you did. Thanks Barb!!
My friends and I made this store a priority on our list to visit while on our trip in Atlanta. It looked very cool online. So as soon as we opened the door to the facility(that had no sign on it), we were screamed at by a man to immediately shut it and that he had to let people out. He then talked to us as if we were children and that we needed to follow their policy with the employees & opening doors. Maybe if he was doing his job and standing at the door or simply putting up a sign, we wouldn’t have opened it. And maybe we would’ve enjoyed the store more. The store was not what we were expecting at all and received better customer service at the suspect liquor store next door. Hopefully people have better experiences here because there could be potential. The surrounding thrift stores are a fun time.
I havent seen their level of caution before. Its wonderful. The store has a vast collection of items. You could get lost in here for hours and not even realize it. The staff is super nice and upholds their COVID caution better than most other places. This is a gold standard for business -- decent prices, great staff, vast selection, COVID safety.
I thoroughly enjoy this place everytime. Its always fun and unexpected. You can find the coolest and unique gifts here as well. I could spend hours in here just perusing their many shelves. So many unique odds and ends, from tee shirts, to wigs, to cute kawaii items for my daughter.
An AMAZING store that cares about everyones safety while abiding to health guidelines during this pandemic. Their prices are great and their staff is very friendly and helpful! I am so grateful that they take the time to greet every group that comes through their doors with a speech about safety expectations and the repercussions of not following their rules. I honestly wish more stores were like this! Thank you for being an essential part of ending this global pandemic! I have loved this store since I first visited it in 2005 and experiencing this just added to my adoration. Thank you!
This was a place I had high hopes for when coming to visit Atlanta and I was not disappointed!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The clothing is expensive but that didnt stop me from buying clothes from them, haha. It was a wonderful experience that I wish they had a store like this where I live in.
Looking for something weird, quirky, or simply so outrageous that no one else would have it? Well, look no further, this place has it all! From multi colored wigs, brightly colored hats, movie t-shirts, pink flamingos, svelte mens wear for partytime, PEZ dispensers, posters, and miscellaneous unique gifts and paraphernalia. The one-stop shop for the eccentric oddball, love this place!!!
Junkmans is my go-to for gifts. They have so many unique surprises, like books, plants, and awesome sofa pillows! The staff are the best in town. If you dont like their attitudes, then you have probably never worked retail. ALSO, these people have been rescuing and promoting animal rescue for years. They get mad props from me. Love you guys!!!
They have a lot of things. they have very strict covid precautions and that means + stars. they also have shoes that would make me taller than my friend Quinn. he is 6 feet tall and I really want to dominate and be cool and taller than him. bad genes and being assigned female at birth made this goal difficult, however still achievable with the performance enhancing drug of shoes from junkmans. I have been here with my friends and with my family any time I have been here has been a good one. their website is slightly wack because they have a button to show you the belts but there is no belts under the tab. I really just want to look like a pirate and buy belts from the comfort of my own home, but that will have to wait for another day.
A friend told me about this great store in Little Five Points Atlanta, so I visited the Junkmans Daughter online out of curiosity. My friend was right. Great store! Looks like they sell items that are not mainstream. I wanted to order everything that I saw! However, the prices were too high for an old lady on a fixed income. But if you have money to spend, you should definitely drop by the Junkmans Daughter, either their brick-and-mortar store or their website. Youll be glad you did.
I WENT IN AND EXPRESSED MY LOVE FOF THE STORE. I shopped around found a pair of heels that were marked down to $38 !!!!!! Then I try them on and everything the lady tells me they will bring them downstairs. I get to the register they rang me up and the shoes came up to $140 !!! Regular price supposedly ! I was furious and will not recommend you going here. Whole time my boyfriend shopped we were stared down every step we took!
Wonderful, eclectic store in Little 5. Perfect place to browse or find a cool, offbeat gift. Everything from jewelry, clothes, wigs, shoes, books, toys, and more. Very cool/hip place.Fair warnings; there is a doorman/bag check. So leave those big purses or backpacks at home unless you are ok with that.Other fair warning, the parking lot gets packed and charges on the weekends, it seems. Go on a weekday if the crowds arent your thing.
I have been going to the store since they were on the corner of elucid avenue and was just a little bitty shop. That was in the 80s. They have grown into an amazing store. Very unique and one-of-a-kind ecliptic things. Retro toys, amazing incense with a huge selection, posters, punk clothes and so much more. Oh, and a smoke shop in the back.
Always a fun experience every time I go to this store. I can always find something I absolutely love even if its clothes or little nick-knacks. The staff are always quirky and fun. Even if you arent looking to buy you can always come to this store for a good laugh and time well spent.
I love this place so much. The owner has worked really hard to incorporate more plus size options over the past few years. You can find some of the coolest, unique things here. And they have local art as well! Just know, if you are carrying a bag, you will have to leave it at a bag check. No big deal though. You get your own little key chain and everything to help keep your belongings secure!
It was a really fun store to go to! They had a ton of cute little knick knacks and gifts and also lots of really neat clothes. I got a beautiful black polyester pillow with a cat on it that I L O V E!!! The staff was also really nice and greeted me when I came in and told me to have a nice rest of my day when I left. Since Im moving to the area I will totally go again!!
This store has less of the edgy eccentric nature that I fell in love with. That said, its still a wonderful place and the service and products are still great, just directed toward a different crowd. Things change with the times, and I just missed my memories of my favorite store of all time.
This place is the coolest, most bizarre shop in Atlanta! You are bound to find something here that interests you - whether it is their super hip clothing, their interesting local art, their retro/vintage collection of junk or the arrangement of trinkets they have. I also love that they sell high quality hair dyes as well - i venture in here at least once a month to check out whats new. Love it!!
Cool, eclectic and funky shop with everything you ever wanted from the weird to the obscure. They have everything from clothing and costumes to decorations and retro candy. They even have a little “R” rated area.Located right in the heart of Little 5 Points, large shop with a little something for everyone.
As with Criminal Records, this store is a ghost of its former self. If you shopped here in the 90s you know what I mean. I miss the intentionally rude staff, drug paraphernalia, and sense of danger. Some reviewers are whining about having to check in their bags and stuff at the door. Get a life. Theyve been doing that for 3 decades and they do it to everyone. Check your hurt feelings at the door, too, losers. With that said, its still better than, say, Urban Outfitters. The t-shirt area is cool. And the selection of trinkets is amusing. No cute girls work here. Its usually grungy looking dudes getting a paycheck until their band makes it big, but thats been the case here for like 30 years.
Very interesting store that carries a wide variety of items. Definitely something for everyone even if youre just a browser. Novelty items, vintage or unusual clothes, shoes, tobacco items, art, kids things, etc. The staff is very approachable if you have any questions. A must see!
So where did you get that? That’s probably the response you will get if you shop at this establishment. They carry eclectic pieces, shoes, and accessories. You will most likely find somethingyou didn’t think you needed until you visit the store. This store is located in the Historic Little Five Points área, and it’s just a place you need to see. Little Five Points is legendary in Atlanta. Junkman’s Daughter has a little bit of everything. Tradition does not live here. If you are afraid to step outside the box, you won’t be once you give this place a try. This place carries the coolest t-shirts, one of a kind shoes, and eye- catching accessories; the prices are very reasonable. In addition, it has a pulse of youthful angst combined with social awareness, and a heightened level of in your face protest. I highly recommend you to step inside.
My husband and I went in after church to find 70s fashion and accessories. I went upstairs to try on the white go go boots and was treated to the rudest sales person ever! We received ZERO service but were instead watched like hawks. Definitely not a great customer service experience! Take notes from Psycho Sisters guys. I bought everything I needed from them... including accessories! There, I was greeted with a smile, asked if I needed assistance, and was offered 3 suggestions on potential outfits. You guys missed the mark.
I’ve always enjoyed shopping here for fun gifts and random stuff. But, I recently purchased a tarot deck as a Christmas gift for someone. To my embarrassment, my friend let me know that this is a counterfeit deck purchased on Wish.com (they cost $2 at Wish and are sold for $17 at JMD). IWhile it’s my responsibility to research what I’m purchasing, it’s still sad that they are selling stuff that the original artists receive no compensation for. I tried contacting the store, but they have a strict “no returns” policy currently due to Covid. Lesson learned.
This place is great for edgy or alternative clothing, if your looking for a 90s grunge kind of aesthetic youll have to be creative.4 stars because the mens boots section is laughable. That and there is a lot of missed opportunity fashion wise here. It feels like the store just waits for halloween.
We really enjoy visiting Junkmans throughout the year. We can always find eclectic items that make great gifts for those we love. We have found some really cool items for our place here, too. The cashier service here is usually okay. You may have to actually ask for help with any items on the sales floor though.
Honestly, y’all need a bigger plus size section. I had been planning my trip to Junkmans daughter since January since I live out of the way of Atlanta/L5P. It was very disappointing to come into a store that has built such a huge name in the vintage/alternative community in Georgia for the past 30+ years and ask where the plus size section is and get pointed to a very small closet size space of just a few items to select from. Only rating 2 stars because I did get some cool Demonias and the poster selection was really good and fairly priced. It’s 2020, please take the time to get a bigger selection of plus size options.
Ive been going here for over 20 years and it remains the same each time I go. You can find shirts and pants and socks and wigs that you cant find anywhere else, at this store. The only thing you cant find, is a bathroom. So if you come to Little Five Points to walk around and shop, make sure to bring a large container to pee in. I understand all of the homeless people down here would be abusing the bathroom, but its also not fair to the customer. So if you need some eclectic gear, get it here, but make sure, you didnt drink too much beer.
Nice sized store with lots of inventory. Not many larger sizes in clothes however. Lots of neat little things. Wish for more outlandish items. Items there seemed more on the safe side of playground if that makes sence. I get why they would do this as a business though. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Great store with lots of funky things to look at. Slightly overpriced but hey its L5P. This is NOT a store for young kids. My 16 year old loved it! We bought cool shirt, some crazy ass socks and candy. You just never know what you will find here!Downside (for us on this day) was the cashier. Yikes. Just gruff, hasty and rude. Either way cool store even with the ornery Danzig cashier.
A rarity of a store. Cool selection of everything you never knew existed. I did half my Christmas shopping here in June from out of state. Its difficult to describe what you will find here. Trinkets, doodads, whats-its, and what-the-#@*!s is what they specialize in. Thanks to the locals Kandace and Mellody for turning me on to this place.
Very careful about masks and social distancing, entrance guard ensures we wear them and gives lecture begore one enters. Plexiglass barriers between staff and customers, fun gift shop as well, unique items and often handmade, original art, tshirts, jewelry, surprising gifts and novelties 🙂🤸🎶
Very good selection of random, eclectic items. Minus a star because of the overbearing nature of the staff who are extremely paranoid about shoplifters and/or rowdy customers. You must leave drinks at the door (even if sealed). You must leave your other bags at the door. And generally speaking, the staff is looking at what youre carrying instead of being friendly and making eye contact. It can leave you with a gross feeling because its almost like they are accusing you of stealing just because you walked in the door.
One of my favorite places in this city! A terrific selection of everything from stickers to succulents, and incense to clothing. The clothes you find here are very unique, and you can find something youll love no matter what your style is. Most of the clothes are from wholesale brands, too, so its not easy to find them elsewhere. They have wigs, bags, and hats downstairs, and a large collection of shoes on the second floor. The outside of the building looks very cool thanks to its paint job, and it is right next door to Aurora Coffee . They have venus flytraps for sale, in addition to succulents in cute pots (for very affordable prices, too!), next to lots of framed artwork and tapestries. In the back of the store, you can find stickers and patches--some with political messages, some without. Everybody should come here at least once.
By far one of the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. I fully support wearing masks during this time and repurposing old clothing and other items and supporting local businesses during this complicated time but when the staff is aggressive upon 1st impression, it left me feeling like I was an inconvenience by attending their store and not welcome.
Still the same clothing racks from a decade ago, and the fashions really havent changed that much either which is good, I guess, when you are looking for something you knew used to be sold there. One new cool thing is their used costume section. That alone is *totally* worth driving in for!
I love this store in little five points.... The store has just about almost everything for anyone. Prices are fair and they have very friendly staff. My daughter really loves it too and shes only seven. Whenever I have family or friends visiting I bring them to junkmans daughter ☺
This is the best dentist and staff in GA. I will continue to drive from Atlanta to see them. The staff is super friendly and the facility is the cleanest ever. The dentist was very nice and through, he kept telling me exactly what he was doing and everything felt fine. I wish i came here earlier. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesnt want to go see a dentist. I never felt any pain on the crown or the extaction he did. Thank you Buford dental for a happy visit again.
Junkmans Daughter is a paraphernalia fans dream. There is a ton of interesting trinkets and items. There is a sensational smoke shop towards the back of the establishment. They carry all of your vape, hookah and general smoke needs. This is also one of the few places in which you can purchase costumes all year round. Awesome place with awesome taste. Cool factor-🕶🕶🕶🕶🕶
I love coming here for Halloween costume shopping or theme parties. They always have staples available for getting dressed up- however, I think its definitely worth shopping around because sometimes they are overpriced. They also have a Spencers style gift shop with unique funny gifts that I adore. Many people dont like the eclectic area because its in a rough part of town but as long as you are smart you should be fine. Another downfall is the parking situation- sometimes you can find a parking spot and wander around but sometimes if you wander to another shop you will get charged to park or a ticket. Sometimes its just worth it to pay the parking attendant and spare yourself the headache.
Great selections in store but I did not like being harassed by some on the employees. The dressing room stall is kindergarten height so when my girlfriend stood in front to cover me she was told to move. Men were constantly walking by and it was uncomfortable. They have a no return policy so I didnt want to purchase mythical g I wasnt sure about.
I’m new to Atlanta. I was referred here by multiple colleagues & was really excited to check it out. The hype proved true! It’s a really cool establishment with really cool gear. But...The reason I’m giving a 3 star review is because I had a 50/50 positive & negative experience with the staff. Half of the people I interacted with were nice & helpful. The other half were rude, curt and generally annoyed that I was asking questions. I didn’t get the vibe that they were “people persons.” Where’s the southern hospitality, yo?#NotCoolBatman #MaybeCustomerServiceIsNotForYou#SorryNotSorry
Very very disappointed. To start with $10 parking what it look like public parking. Only excepting cash too. Sounds like of shady. Nothing what it looked like on the web site. Greeted at the door kinda rude (about the mask thing). Walked around for half hour and left. Felt like I got cheated
I love this store! In one trip, I got a 90s throwback babydoll dress, an unfinished 3D sacred heart - tattoo flash style - and a Totoro bento set, along with some Japanese candy/toys and a number of zines I havent seen anywhere else in Georgia. I wont even subtract a star for the parking nightmare - its not their fault - because its just that good.
Definitely a different kind of clothing store. Thrift/vintage/costume/alt in a sense. I thought it was a thrift store but its wayyyyyyyyyy to expensive to be considered a thrift store! I was shocked at the prices of the clothing there.I did end up buying a 2pac shirt for $16, but there were other items i didnt mind buying but thought that they were 100 percent overpriced.
The place is okay, but it was a lot cooler when it occupied the much smaller space off Euclid and Colquitt.... Now, its totally lost what made it cool in the first place. Its about as mainstream as you can get. But, I cant begrudge the owners from being successful. I just wont shop there; its really more for the kids. Yeah, Im feeling my age.
Ive been coming here for years; the eclectic product offerings are a little overpriced, but the variety is good. Everything from modern ModLoft-esque decor to drag costume, from tobacco paraphernalia to jewelry, this is the alternative individuals contemporary bazaar.
Carries all those items you see on the internet that appeals to the geek/weirdo/freak in you, but you never order. Definitely worth a visit if you are nearby. Staff isnt the friendliest.. but as my husband said, how happy can you be if youre a rock star forced to find a daytime job?
Cool little trendy shop that Ive been frequenting since I was a kid. With clothes, shoes, posters, smoke shop, costumes, knick-knacks and bric-a-brac. A great place to stroll through while youre waiting for your table at the Vortex. And, Im sure youll find a few cool things youll want to waste your money on...Lol!

2021-10-10One of my favorite stores on this planet. They have it all! Clothing, stickers, home decor, occult accessories, toys, and just about anything else you can imagine. The perfect mix of witchy and kitschy with some punk rock thrown in. Employees are super friendly and the store always has something new to see each time you visit.

2022-02-19This is the coolest store Ive ever been in! It makes me think of a cross between Spensers, Hot Topic, and the India Shoppe but even better! Some of the clothes are a bit high priced but they seem to be good quality. There are so many fun things to look at, from candles to stickers to all kinds of clothes (shirts, pants, dresses, boots, etc). and jewelry. I couldnt look at everything on one trip so Ill have to go again! To address a few of the naysayers, yes, they require a mask on at all times including on your nose at all times. I was able to smell the incense a little bit through my mask, so stop your whining. And I swear, the ridiculous people calling it a political store, really? They just want you to wear a mask. Were in the middle of a pandemic, in case you didnt know? 🙄 And no, youre not going to get the same quality items for less on Amazon. Yall are killing me. Just dont go if you dont like it?

2022-04-24Absolutely love this place. So many fun pieces! The staff is amazing, especially Levi in the shoe department. I came to the store to find an outfit for a photo shoot and Levi really took the fit to the next level with their costume knowledge. They were so friendly and super helpful. Thank you, Levi!

2022-07-17I love this store, but I just recommend double-checking your price labels. Its understandable as someone who works retail too so no big deal, but I bought a bag labeled as $24 and when I cashed out the total was 30. Didnt think much of it but thought it was odd tax would be 25% of the items total. Didnt realize till I got home that they rung the bag up as 28 even though it was labeled as 24, not much but enough to throw the budget off.I love the bag though and am still happy with the purchase, I just couldnt really afford to spend more than I expected to.

2022-07-10This is a fun store to walk around and check out. They have some fun clothes, band t-shirts, shoes upstairs, tapestries, cbd products and stuff, incense and burners. The list goes on. Staff are friendly, and make sure you wear your mask. Kinda surprised they are still counting people coming in. But to each his own.
