DELICIOUS food!! & it’s so amazing that this place is so allergen friendly. My boyfriend has a severe dairy allergy and it’s rare we can eat out safely. This place accommodates that while also providing humanely sourced meat or vegan options if that’s what you prefer. We couldn’t be more impressed. I would take a photo but I scarfed my meal down too quickly ;) sooo good!! We had the arepas btw.
Yucca arepas, where have you been my whole life? I never realized that there were other arepas beside corn. From my first visit to KarmaFarm I was hooked. The yucca makes a soft, doughy package for all the awesome fillings Karma Farm offers. The oven-baked chicken is my go-to. The brisket and ‘shroomer dude are also really good. Part of what makes them so good are the homemade sauces. I am not normally a creature of habit, but I always get the vegan mac and cheese side, although I am tempted by the many other options. During the pandemic I’ve been getting their chocolate chip cookies to help me through the week. Although if you happen to be there on a day when they have mini vegan caramel cupcakes, get those!I have a number of food allergies, and am used to just getting by in restaurants. It’s so wonderful to come here and be able to eat such flavorful food without worry. They are experts in helping people to eat safely with delicious, healthy food. And with making you feel like an extended part of their family.
Really cool restaurant, great food, and great service. Right as we walked in we were greeted by a nice lady who I assume was the owner and she asked if it was our first time at the restaurant. Since it was she proceeded to explain how the menu and ordering works and also told us all about the food and ingredients they use.I went with the Fried Chicken Arepa sandwich and a side of spicy noodles. The Arepa was interesting but really good, however if youre looking for a traditional fried chicken sandwich youll be disappointed. It was more like baked chicken with some breading adding on the outside, but still good nonetheless and pretty filling. The spicy noodles were pretty good as well, they had just the right amount of heat without overdoing it. I also got a free cookie from checking in on Yelp and that was really good as well, especially considering it had no gluten, only dairy. The whole place had a cool, welcoming, friendly vibe. Im really looking forward to going back again and trying some of the other things on the menu.
Absolutely loved it here. Amazing variety of foods that taste amazing and it’s all gluten free. There are a lot of vegan choices from veggie burgers on homemade gluten free bread to BBQ cauliflower. The service is excellent and was a joy to be here. There is also free WiFi!
Excellent food. I am not vegan, but I loved their vegan and gluten free options. They don’t have any nuts in the building so it is great for people with allergies. The setting is modern, clean and kid friendly .The owner works from the register and she is very nice and full of energy.
What a great find. Glad Google recommended this place. Very kind people who were willing to explain the whole selection of food and how best to take it all in. They allow you to try the different dishes so youll no exactly what to get. Its set up like a cafeteria so you can pick different choices a la carte style and then they ring you up at the front. From what I tried I really enjoyed it.I had the Trout, I think it was like a Thai chili corn or something, Asian chicken salad which had an almost sushi flavor that was good. And to add to that I added some white rice. I topped it off with their Green Dragon Iced Tea. It was unsweetened but was really refreshing with lemon added only. Good place. Love that their Gluten free and very vegetarian friendly yet still open to meat eaters alike.Definitely worth a revisit. Checkem out. These good people deserve your business
Highly recommend KarmaFarm! The food is fantastic, satisfying, and healthy. It’s hard to find places that check all of these boxes. This is one of only a few in the whole city that check all three. It’s run by great people (Scott and McCall) who are kind and passionate about what they do.
I love the fresh bowls, the yucca Arepas and the charcoal lemonade (not too sweet)The parking is not easy but it was worth the extra 5 minutes. Takeout would have been easier as they have 2 designated 10 minute spots but I was meeting with my functional nutritionist who is dairy and gluten free. The food was delicious!
KarmaFarm is our absolute favorite place to go. We drive over 45 minutes to come here and it is worth it every time. You will not find a kinder group of people and the food is incredible! My wife has celiacs and it is so difficult to find gluten free restaurants in Atlanta, which is what caught our interest originally. The food is the best in the city, gluten free or not.Every time we come in, its like visiting family every time we go. Even the fur babies love getting to visit. You will not be sorry making this your go-to place. Its worth every bit of the time, money and effort for us to visit.
Glad I looked/let the kid try the Mac before I served it…excellent customer service and I appreciate them remaking our order but You guys should definitely use hairnets in the kitchen/when handling people’s food..…or don’t & hopefully no one will notice & eat it (stray hairs) OR hopefully they’ll be as calm as me and just ask you to remake it *shrugs*
We went to this gluten and dairy free place today for the first time. Very tasty and the mac and cheese was sooo good. I also had the beef meatloaf and broccoli and loved it all! The owners were very friendly with great customer service! I also love that for every meal sold they donate one to a child in need through No Kid Hungry Atlanta. How awesome is that?!!! Will definitely be back when Im craving mac and cheese and brownies😁
For gluten free, vegan options, it made it easy to pick food from. Limited selection. Their chickpea mashed potatoes was hummus... definitely should have a tortilla chip as an option for that. Great service, with free parking. Just nothing with the food to stand out, to give it 5 stars.
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Our 11 year old son has a severe peanut allergy and is gluten and dairy free. This is the first restaurant where he could literally eat anything he wanted. Something most people take for granted. There were so many options, every single thing we tried was delicious. The owners vet every ingredient for allergy safety. Organic and local is also important to us; they ticked all our requirement boxes. We brought friends with no food restrictions and they LOVED the food. The design is adorable, they have a llama for a mascot and they are good, kind, generous people. Ample parking as well. We went back a second night in a row before leaving town. You will fall in love with this place. Something for everyone.
Great food and amazing owners who are present to explain the whole breakdown of their menu. **Allergy friendly** no gluten or dairy used at all with options like vegan Mac and fried chicken! A little pricey but what isn’t pricey these days… cinco de staros!!! Side note the size of their water cups makes me wanna add a 6th star, usually free water cups are enough for one sip but they give you a huge glass. It’s the small things. Or small things that are big things. Anywho 🤝 thank you
Searching online for a place to eat and I stumbled upon KarmaFarm. Wow what a pleasant surprise! The food was delicious and I ate every single bite. The staff greeted and chatted with me as if Id been coming there for years. This is one of Atlantas best kept secrets, but I have a feeling it wont be a secret for very long. Two thumbs way up!
Oh my goodness the food is amazing!!! I stopped by here earlier as I had the day off and had been wanting to try it for awhile (I am vegetarian and gluten free). The only reason I hadn’t been yet is just because it’s a little inconvenient for me to get to. Well it was 1000% worth any hassle it might take to get there. Do yourself a favor, especially if you have dietary restrictions, and go there!! They are super nice and helpful and I would have been happy if the food were just pretty good. As a veg and gf eater, you get used to things just being okay. But seriously the quality of the food blew me away!!! I rarely ever write reviews but I just felt like I had to. My favorite things specifically are the vegetarian meatloaf, potato salad, cabbage, and cinnamon donut and cake. I will absolutely be making the effort to come back again :)
A MUST TRY! As a person living a dairy-free gluten-free lifestyle I have to say this is some of the most flavorful good I have ever tasted...EVER!!! Their mac n cheese can stand beside the real thing and you would choose it over the gluten-filled pasta version any day :DIf the food wasnt enough to persuade you, the owners are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet and they are sure to win you over with their warmth and smiles from ear to ear :)
Saw this place while walking from Bun Mi next door and figured I would try it out. The place is actually quite cozy, and the owners were very nice. The atmosphere screamed amazing in every way. But I was very upset when I got home and actually tried the food. It was the most tasteless vegan food I had ever had in my entire. I contemplated making this review as I understand this is a new restaurant and starting is difficult for most business, but I would suggest that they reevaluate their menu a little and focus on making sure the food is just as amazing as the store front. If the prices are going to say great food the food should live up to its expectations.
Great vegan options from a completely gluten-free menu. The customer service and vibe of this place is heartwarming. This true local business is filling many holes in the Atlanta food scene with healthy, nutritious foods, fresh selections.I had the vegan mac, truffle squash, truffle avocado , and a cold noodle dish. It was all great and I would get it again. They also have a great selection of vegan and gluten-free baked goods that hit the spot. I look forward to my next visit at this true Mom and Pop eatery.
My wife drove into the city and dropped our friend off at the hospital. We didn’t know what we were going to do in Atlanta because we never come here, but to our surprise we found Karma Farm and were we very surprised at the quality of vegan food in the area. I had the vegan meatloaf in mushroom gravy with 2 sides. Both the maple syrup organic Brussels sprouts and Broccoli were good size portions and very tasty, wow. The atmosphere was peaceful and the music complemented our dinning experience nicely. If we come back to the area we would definitely come here. The owners were also super friendly and authentic. Highly recommended!!
Personal touch by the owners adds to the good service here. This is a newer location and parking is a bit tricky, as is even seeing the place while driving. The food is really good and good for you. “No gluten in the entire building” so my gluten sensitive wife loved the place. They have more than vegan options, so if meat is something you eat then you can find it here. It’s a bit expensive but a unique and worthwhile place to try.
Tried karmafarm the other day and could not have Been more happy with my choice. I tried the voodoo chicken arepa and it was incredible. I can’t believe the flavors they have with it all being gluten and dairy free! The service is incredible and the family vibe is one of a kind! A must try!
Looked up organic restaurants on Google while in Atlanta and this restaurant came up. It was only 15 minutes from where I was so it was easy to get to. When you walk in there is a cafeteria style serving bar where you are greeted by the owner/chef or his daughter. They fill you in on the menu and let you ask any questions about their food and how they prepare it. All food there is gluten-free and organic! You don’t have to worry about getting healthy food. The menu is limited to 4-5 entrees, but man were they delicious. I had the zesty chicken breast with rice noodles and sautéed kale with habiscus tea. Best restaurant meal I ever had! My wife built her plate with meatloaf, spicy sweet potatoes (these were on the hot-hot side and wife couldn’t eat many of them) and sautéed greens. We topped it off with a gluten-free coffee cake Bundt muffin that we shared. It was my wife’s birthday and the muffin was a substitute for a birthday cake. Perfect meal! We sat outdoors by the driveway. There is indoor seating as well. It cost me $55 for a delicious, high quality healthy meal, two specialty drinks and dessert! I practically begged the owner to move to Orlando! Definitely grab a meal here if you are in Atlanta!
Fantastic food! Excellent place! Completely Gluten, nut, dairy free facility. They are helpful to list if there are coconut or avacado allergies or sensitivities. Grass fed and organic foods, with homemade gluten free muffins and donuts as well as wonderful sugar free teas and on site made drinks. Love this place.
Amazing food! Bright vibrant made to order in front of you. Wonderful service, they went above and beyond to show us the food, talk us through all the options and recommendations. The sweet potatoes were amazing we had to get some to go for later. Thank you KarmaFarm.
Oh. My. Goodness! What an excellent find! I loved everything about this restaurant - ethically-sourced meats, vegan options, compostable dishes and plastics, as well as on-site composting. I loved the aesthetic and the llama logo. And the FOOD! So satisfying and flavorful! Tasty, creative and healthy food that is accessible to folks with dietry restrictions. Wow. Ill be returning!
I moved to the area about a month back and have already been here 5 times. KarmaFarm is a great spot that focuses on clean and healthy eating with great ingredients! The owners are wonderful people and will walk you through all their food with great detail and make suggestions based on your preferences/allergies. They keep trying out new things and never disappoint; the first few times I went there, my favourites were the Fried Chicken Arepa with a side of Chickpea Mash. On my recent visit, the owners recommended the sweet potatoes and the cold pasta, and both the dishes were incredible! I dont have dietary restrictions but if you did have even the craziest ones, Im fairly certain theyd have something for you. To summarize - the staff, vibe, food, variety, and quality are all top notch!
Love the food and the atmosphere. My wife and I are both gluten free and dairy free, plus shes a vegan with texture issues. Im a meat eater and I gotta say, they had some excellent meatloaf! They have espresso as well and the pea milk was a good choice. Lots of good, home cooked food here and its about as allergy friendly as it gets.
Im not normally a reviewer but Karma Farm is such as welcome addition to our neighborhood. The food is carefully sourced and prepared in batches so everything is always fresh and incredibly healthy. The owners are so nice and will always welcome you and make you feel at home. Great for gluten free people but truly anyone will enjoy this cuisine. Like the owners, its food that makes you feel good!
We have been all over the USA twice together and this place is def our fav restaurant ever! They have the best gluten free meatloaf! The gravy was to die for. The cinnamon swirl muffin was insanely good. We even went back for more and got arepas! Their arepas are corn free and gluten free! My girlfriend got the sloppy joe and I got the crunchy hot chicken arepa. Both were off the friggin charts!Oh...and the gluten free vegan donuts were da bomb dot com! Where else can you find gluten free AND vegan food that tastes so good?!!!My fav thing about this restaurant is that they are family owned and operated. The owner and his daughter took our order. They were so kind, warm, and friendly. The interior and theme were also unique and stylish.I friggin love this place. We will be back next time when we drive thru Atlanta!
Do you ever clap after tasting food, because its soo soo good? Karma farm was the best choice for my plant based diet and my carnivore partner. Everything is fresh and delicious. I can vouch for the vegan meatloaf, vegan mac and cheese, and avocado salad, they were all filling and extremely tasty. Partner had regular meatloaf and same sides and fell in love with the food. Nut free, dairy free, and gluten free will please any sort of allergy and/or intolerance. One of my new favorites. Also the staff/owners are very welcoming and offered a sincere hospitality service. Love it!!!
Karma Farm has a lovely and modern atmosphere. The staff and owners were very generous. I liked the fact that the food was very innovative and different; however, it was kinda bland. There were inconsistencies within the taste. The herbs were overpowering and the seasonings underwhelming. The place has promise once they get their herb and seasoning blend correctly.
Amazing. First time at this place yesterday and I loved everything about it. I walked in and was greeted by a family run business who serves some of the best vegan food in Atlanta. Ask about their story about “why” they created this restaurant - truly an inspiration. And the arepas on Wednesday are delicious. Thank you!!
We got the meatloaf, kale, purple cabbage, chilled beets, honey corn bread, brownie & 1 cinnamon swirl tonight for dinner. Everything was EXCELLENT & seasoned perfect. I didnt need salt for anything. The Cornbread was the only thing I WONT get again... but I bake ours in a skillet so Im use to ours being drier.... even the honey one. We took a chance going here just like any place you do by going the first time and this eo t be the last time going.... we really liked it....go out on a limb AND GO TO KARMA FARM.
What a wonderful, CERTIFIED gluten free restaurant! My husband who has no dietary restrictions was also impressed with his food. The owner was amazingly kind and helpful- she didnt hesitate to provide free samples of anything we wanted to try! I definitely recommend visiting the bakery bar before leaving- thats the real star of the show! We cant wait to go back.
This restaurant was AMAZING! This is a true Mom and Pop eatery and their dedication insuring everyone get eat no matter what dietary restrictions they might have is the icing on the cake! The owners are the most lovely people, they insured that they explained every item (certified GF, nut free and most vegan) in detail. Now the food was AMAZING!! Omg I had the Slappin bowl, and my wife who has celiacs get the Scotty bowl. We destroyed the food ! The atmosphere was very serene ! I will be back every day if my life!!
Quiet, clean locale. Delicious food! The owners are so very kind and directly involved with every aspect of their business. Food allergies are no joke to them: both they and their son have serious restrictions. The food is as delicious as it is both comforting and nutritious. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit every week!
It’s about time. I’ve been waiting for a restaurant like this for 10 years. The owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly and proud of their achievement, as they should be. They spent a year of effort obtaining the gluten free certifications. No cross contamination concerns here! My food restriction list is long, not just gluten, and all my needs are met. The food is fresh, safe, healthy, and creative. Flavors are excellent. It is such a treat to have variety and then be able to pick something else out to take home for later. No canola oil! Outstanding job!
OVERRATED PLACE....I don’t know how people think this place is amazing. You really don’t know what vegan , organic and healthy food taste . I got an Arepa with avocado and tomatoes inside and two sides( potato salad and green beans). I could barely finish the arepa. It was gooey. Very disappointing. The green beans was hard and no taste. I wanted to try the chocolate chip cookie , it was hard and tasteless as well. I have been eating organic and vegan food for the past 7 years and honestly this food was the worst so far. The worst was yet to come: $30 dollars for my waisted time lunch. Not going back.
I cant believe I havent visited here sooner. Its such a warm and friendly place! The people are very sweet and down-to-earth. I dont have any dietary restrictions, but I really appreciate the way they offer lots of healthy options for people who are vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, etc. The food is delicious and you can tell its made with love. I will be returning soon!
Stopped here for a lunch break. This place was great! Very friendly and helpful staff serving awesome food. I was happy to learn about where their ingredients are sourced locally. I think that its awesome that they are certified gluten free. I had the arepa fried chicken sandwich. It was terrific!
If you want to experience a homemade meal that still looks and tastes as a high quality restaurant, this is the place to go. Karma Farm is a family owned business that walks the talk when it comes to being sustainable and organic. All of the food is organic and grown locally in the nearby region. Their dishes have a blend of American traditional with Latin and Asian infusions. Their Arepas are a unique experience from the traditional Colombian or Venezuelan arepa, all of their sides are Vegan with excellent full meals for plant based people. The service does not feel like a restaurant rather than your uncle or aunts house. They make you feel welcome, explain to you their entire menu and take their time to ask you what you like or dont like in order to customize your experience. This is my 5th time in a the last couple of months and I will continue to be a patron and faithful Karma farmer for the long haul.
KarmaFarm is delicious and healthy too! One of my new favorite places. I have a dairy allergy and it’s wonderful to not have to worry about what I can or cannot eat. Plus their baked goods are AMAZING!! I have a bad sweet tooth, and finding good desserts without dairy is very difficult. I’ve struck gold with KarmaFarm. You would never know their baked goods are dairy free or gluten free - they are that good. If you haven’t been, you need to try it out.
Came by for lunch today. The staff and family is extremely friendly. I was welcomed walking in the door, walked through all the offering for the day, had really nice conversation and got exactly what I wanted. Also the vegan cornbread was incredible. Would recommend to anyone and will come back. Thanks!
Karma Farms is my favorite place to eat in town. As a person who recently started to eat meat after several years, I know I can always go to Karma to have some humanly produced meat and if I don’t want meant they always have a ton of vegan alternatives. Their food is always flavorful, nothing here is plain and their yuca arepas are just to die for! The bonus: the owners and staff make you feel like you are having a meal with family. This is a business that truly cares about the community as a whole. Super recommended!!
Nothing better than a dedicated gluten free restaurant for those of us who cannot have gluten. No worries. Anything you order is gluten free, delicious, and made in house. The food and desserts are fresh and beyond delicious. This is a family owned and operated joint and the family is always kind, greets you and asks how your meal was. I am obsessed with every single thing Ive tried. So are my non GF friends who have joined me.
Im sorry but this is not a 4-5 star place. Food was cold, tasted old and just bad. My wife is vegetarian and trust me we know how healthy food should taste. I know they are trying but please don t charge people $30-$40 bucks on a food that has been sitting on display, is cold and tastes old. Disappointed. At least the guy serving the food was nice, and thats why I am giving 2 stars.
I love this place. This is a nice local place where I always come for a good lunch and 1 or more treats. Conveniently located to all the shopping of Buckhead I find myself here to start my weekends or grab a snack before heading home, to practice, or if I need a quick healthy yet home cooked fix.Im super sensitive to gluten, dairy, and soy and Im so grateful that right near my home theres a Georgia grown food stop for dine in, carry out, and delivery that meets my needs and isnt a massive chain. Ive hit the jackpot as everything is super clean, high quality, and always fresh. While you can definitely grab the basics to keep you on track this is also a place to experiment and try fun things with a reasonable serving sizeThey have a cold bar with salads and sides, a fresh sandwich bar, and a hot bar. They also have an in house bakery with everything from donuts to matcha Oreo cookies. During the morning they have a coffee and juice bar and all day they serve fresh teas, juices, and clean beverages. Ive tried many things and have always been pleased and with those who join me raving as well.Im by far the guiltiest culprit when it comes to their desserts. I always get more than one thing for the road and ordered for my entire family for Easter. My favorites are the brownie and chocolate banana muffin! So yummy!Best of all this is a family owned restaurant where everyone is super friendly and there is nothing that is too much. If you havent been or are even in the area this is a much for clean, original food with variety of options to suit all tastes and diets!
Love love this place! Great healthy options and fast service, as the food is already prepared yet fresh. The arepas and Asian chicken salad are my favs! A great selection of gluten free desserts - brownies are a must. They also have a big selection of beverages ranging from in house made juices and teas and coffee. Such a great addition to the Buckhead healthy food scene. Hard to beat the food quality, service and convenience.
Stop questioning where to eat AND GO HERE! Your search is over! This is my FAVORITE place to eat in the north east! Such amazing delicious healthy food! We had the meatloaf with mashed chickpea, maple syrup brussel sprouts, and potatoe salad. Then, we had the 2 yuca-made arepas with a sloppy mojo and a hot crunchy chicken. And THEN we got vegan gluten-free cinnamon swirl muffin and 2 pumpkin spice donuts!
Had lunch here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects, including the aroma when I first walked in. I dont pay attention to gluten-free and other dietary exclusions, I just eat whatever looks good, and there is certainly plenty of options for that here. You could get a veggie plate from about a dozen choices, or a meat and two, and the generous serving size is larger than you typically see these days. Split a donut too, and omg delicious, and again gluten free which I dont care about, but if you do, I suppose youd have a rapturous experience here. Folks serving were super helpful too since I was a first timer. Ill be back. Highly recommended.
Had a fantastic experience at Karma Farm for the first time yesterday. I can’t believe I had been missing out on this delicious food for an entire year! Everything is perfectly marked as “gluten free” including the yummy desserts. Never thought eating gluten free would be so fun!
Fresh Healthy food and my new favorite place to eat. Amazing vegan options but they also serve meat so a great place for everyone. I will be eating here multiple times per week - owner Scott is awesome and the staff is very friendly. You can sample food while you are deciding on what you want which is wonderful because there are so many great options.
Stopped by on a Saturday for late lunch. There are a lot of healthy, fresh options. If I ate like this all the time, my GI system wouldnt be so wacky. I had the meatloaf, southern caviar, and truffle avocado salad. I need to admit that truffle flavor is not for me. However, everything was delicious, bright, and fresh. I didnt feel bloated afterwards. Will come again and recommended to my vegan boss.
My family of 6 visited Karma Farm for lunch today, and it was a wonderful experience. It’s a family run business, very warm and welcoming, and it caters to all types of dietary concerns/limits. We have omnivores, a vegan, a vegetarian and one with food allergies in our family, and everyone left happy. Most of all we left feeling good. The world needs more places like this.
Celiac heaven! Thank you for putting in the effort to get GF Certified. I’m sure that wasn’t easy and it’s very much appreciated by the celiac community.Thank you for leading the way offering sustainable, local and healthy food.We and our kids enjoy the a la carte options where we can try so many tasty options. We drive an hour to get to this restaurant sometimes and it is worth it.Update 12/2019: someone posted a review saying the menu didn’t say what was GF. I disagree - their website makes it clear they are not only 100% GF but BETTER STILL, they are even CERTIFIED. The organization that does the certification is thorough and has high standards so this restaurant goes above and beyond the normal standard to keep gluten allergic and celiac folks safe. All age groups in our family continue to love this restaurant!!! Cool owners, great food!
This place is unbelievable. If you care about healthy conscientious eating then you must eat here. If you dont care, well the food is damn good regardless. The owners are wonderful and have created and friendly, k ow you by name, atmosphere. Please support this fine family run establishment. Also if you have any kind of allergies this is the place. They are certified gluten free, have tons dairy and egg free options. Vegan choices as well as grass fed and sustainable fish. Could you ask for more. Love yall!!
The food, owners, and staff here cannot be surpassed. The doughnuts and brownies are out of this world. The Asian chicken salad and the avocado truffle salad are two of the best salads Ive had anywhere, gluten free or not. The brisket arepas - pure heaven. You cannot go wrong with Karma Farm, and the willingness of the owners to help you with every catering order (two weeks advance notice requested because of the difficulty in obtaining the pure GF ingredients) will make you want to order from only Karma Farm in future.
It is so nice to arrive at a place that is warm, relaxed, and gluten free. This is the ONLY place I can eat out and not have any reaction. It almost felt weird to feel completely satisfied and no inflammatory action at a restaurant! Thank you Scott and McCall for all that you do to make ATLANTA a healthier place to live.
I’m so happy that a place like this opened near my home! The owners are super welcoming and friendly, and it is clear that they want to provide the best service and food they can. My wife is from Venezuela, and we could not be more pleased to finally find a place within the city that serves excellent arepas. To quote her, she felt like she was back in Venezuela! Even better, they ended up making them because one of their staff suggested it, and they ran with it. It also helps that the food is reasonably prices for lunch - none of the predatory overpricing you find in other restaurants catering to gluten-free diets and just generally healthy foodies. We’ll be coming back many times after today.
The food is amazing. Tastes good, local and well thought out. Many of the staff are family and friends and they share in detail with you all about the amazing food and they journey to get to making it. The only problem is that all this great food costs an arm and a leg. We ordered what we thought were 5-6 sides and a drink and it cost us about $50! Its definitely worth a visit, but go in expecting to pay a lot if you are hungry! I would go back if Im the area but order just one side.
Very tasty! So healthy and delicious!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KARMAFARM TO ANYONE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES, OR CHRONIC ILLNESSES THAT RESULT IN DIETARY RESTRICTIONS.Even FLOXIES can eat meat here safely, as all of their meat is pastured, and everything in the restaurant is wheat free! Yayyyyy!!! We cant eat hardly anywhere! Just keep an eye out for sugar in the bakery goods, since we cant eat sugar. Some items use coconut sugar, which is safe for us. And since the NOAA recently changed their guidelines, and now some farm-raised fish can be called wild caught, you will want to check with the staff here about any fish or shellfish the day youre there to make sure it is indeed ocean caught (and not just line caught in a responsible fishery.) . But the staff here are VERY ACCOMMODATING and theyll be glad to check for you.I met the owners, and they are the real deal! They very obviously care about people with serious chronic illnesses, allergies and dietary restrictions. They were happy to take all the time I needed and answered all of my questions. The choices I could choose from were plentiful, and my lunch was great! I had meatloaf, ginger cabbage and brussels .sprouts- all GREAT!
God I hope this place does well.Awesome, friendly owners with great tasting, affordable food that you feel good about eating. Opted for the arepa with grass fed beef brisket, ordered the chicken, and a side of brussels. The yuca arepa was a nice change of pace from corn and was so delicious. Next time Ill grab the meatloaf and turkey meatballs, maybe indulge in a treat as well.
Website menu is awfully unclear. Against my better judgement, I tried this place site unseen, despite the discrepancies between the menu on Uber Eats and the main website I was right to be skeptical. The chicken was very oily and upset my stomach and the small leg and thigh I received was certainly not any better than the whole organic chickens I can get at Whole Foods for nearly the same price. Also, since the menu is so painfully ill written online, I didnt realize it came with zero sides. I suspected it wouldnt, but I also wasnt 100% certain. I wasnt impressed enough to consider ever ordering from here again, but maybe its better in person so that you can ask 100 questions about the vague menu. Things are labeled vegan, but not gluten free. In my experience, I never assume that all items on a menu are gluten free unless they are actually specified as being so individually. A clarified menu could help this business tremendously. If labeled properly, I would have been more tempted to order some of the pastry items which, depending on the quality, could have turned me into a regular customer as opposed to somebody who just got the mediocre chicken once. But its not just the ingredients that need clarification, its basically all of their food items. List entrees and sides separately and clearly. Maybe add a brief description of items so people have at least the slightest clue of what they are ordering aside from just chickpeas or chicken. Though Im not motivated to try this place again, I wouldnt deter anyone else from giving it a shot. My suggestion: GO THERE IN PERSON.
Friendliest staff, delicious healthy fare, my only complaint is too many options😊 We had chicken, meatloaf, sautéed greens, and some healthy green juice. So excited that this place is so close to my home. Now if I can just start a weekly tab 😝I think we’ll be here a lot.
I never knew a place like this in Atlanta existed, I can come eat with the most picky of eaters, there’s something yummy for everyone! the owners are so passionate about what they do and it shows. really good bakery items too- which is hard for gluten/dairy free products! thank you karma farm family
Traveling from Houston for work, I googled where to find gluten-free, vegan options around me and KarmaFarm came up highly-recommended in almost every search I did, so I decided to pop in for lunch before I left back to Houston... A decision Im DEFINITELY NOT regretting! About two years ago I began my journey of food allergies and Illnesses that have lead me to sticking to mostly fruits and veggies, not eating out & cooking all of my own meals. Traveling is difficult for me, as most places are not gluten-free, they are gluten-friendly.. words a celiac never wants to hear. But on top of that, being allergic to dairy, eggs, peanuts, soy, pork, corn (to name the big ones), its become increasingly difficult to find places that can accommodate me, without me sounding like a total nut-job when I place my order. I got the chance to briefly speak with McCall and Scott, the owners, and learned a but about the food and the back story of their fairly-new restaurant. They truly are everything they claim to be! FRESH, locally organic and seasonally sourced fruits, veggies, meats and fish [NEVER FARMED!! (menu also adheres to dirty dozen...!! what what!!)] and major-allergen-free, (Dairy, Nuts, Gluten..etc) and not to mention they are THE FIRST CERTIFIED GF Fast-casual rr AND BAKERY in the nation! All of these things in one just doesnt happen.. so finding this place, was literally like finding a needle in a haystack. From the moment you walk in you can not only see, but FEEL just how passionate about what theyre cookin up; concept wise and food wise. Since it was my first time in, McCall, so welcoming-ly took me around and very thoroughly explained the dining concept. You have a few different options to choose from here; A. 1 Meat + 2 Side-plate B. 4 Veggie-plate & C. Choice of Areppa (they have at minimum, 6 different fillings) + 1 side-plate. I had the scotty Areppa with curried veggies.... SO. INCREDIBLY. GOOD... my words simply wont do it justice. All GF, DF, and VEGAN! (minus the soy) The Areppa is something you MUST try... I promise you, you wont regret it. They use YUCA Root and for those whom have never had it before, its basically like potato. I also took a cowboy bar for the plan ride home.... but then I thought about my flight being at 7 and I certainly didnt want airport food so I went and got a box to-go. Not only have McCall and Scoot made it their rrs mission to be accommodating, personally they are as well! I learned they go out of their way to ship brownies from GA> NY for a girl whos in college and GF.. WOW....AND they take care of all their out-of-towners and package the to-gos in such a way we can take them on the plane with us. yall... southern hospitality at its finest! And if you were wondering, I got the buckwheat noodles, greens, mac-and-cheese- and chick-pea mash... im not worried about dinner and I KNOW they will taste divine. With all of this being said, for every meal purchased, one is donated to a child in need through the No Kid Hungry Foundation. Just another reason to make you love this place and the Wilders hearts. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop in and try out KarmaFarm and their rotating menu and then go tell ALL of your friends! You will NOT be disappointed. - To McCall and Scott, THANK you for your gracious hospitality and GOOD LUCK in Austin, as well as with the future! I have a great feeling about it :D -Taylor
OMG! Run don’t walk here if you’re GF or even if you’re not and you just want a nourishing meal that will leave you feeling better than you have in a while! There are so many good options here, and they really put a lot of care into sourcing their ingredients. I had a long conversation with the owner and got to hear about her process in sourcing certified gluten free ingredients, and how she was calling out companies that had cross-contaminating practices! If you’re tired of the same old salad bowls and want something that feels reminiscent of your pre-gf days, this is your place!
I’ve been a KarmaFarm addict ever since they opened their doors a few years ago. Do yourself a favor and order the “Brett Special” (Zesty chicken over kale, sweet potatoes, Mac and cheese, avocado with ranch/sriracha sauces) 🤤Great food, better people...my favorite spot in ATL
I recently caught Karma Farm right before they closed. The customer service was A1 , as if they had just opened.I had the thai chicken soup, kale salad, meatloaf, garlic noodles, and sauteed brocolli .My beverage was the Watermelon Lemonade.I definitely recommend them if you have a taste for a healthy, yet wholesome cuisine.--- K. My wife and I came with the idea of another restaurant which was located before, there, we found Karma Farm, totally different from what we had been thinking about eating, it was a pleasant surprise, we did meet Scott, a super nice guy, he explained to us what they doing, how they make it, We decided to try the food and it was very delicious, highly recommended, we shared cultures, very good and healthy food, it was fantastic to arrive there, and know about this place
Karma Farm is amazing! The ingredients are truly organice farm sourced. Also as a Venezuelan that have had a lot of arepas in my life i gotta say that the Yuca Arepas from Karma Farm are PHENOMENAL!! Nicely done! It is what you expect of a true Yuca Arepa to be. If you are ever in Atlanta and you are looking for a different arepa than the regular Venezuelan/Colombian Arepa then you have to try this ones! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I came at 10 AM and they said they don’t serve between 10 and 11. Breakfast ends at 10 and lunch starts at 11. He said we could buy coffee and wait. We had to ask if we could buy pastries that were pre-made he said sure. Pastries were delicious. I asked for jam for my biscuit he said it’s hard to make jam GF. That is pretty stupid comment from someone working the counter at a GF restaurant. Anyways it was very good and nice atmosphere just stupid that I watched them turn probably 15 customers away and it’s a small business. Just tell them they can order baked goods. And get some jam.
Holy wow! This is really tasty and all this was less than $40 which is just crazy for gluten free food, or really any food in Buckhead lol.We got the meatloaf, truffle avocado salad, chicken quarter, and cassoulet all of which was fantastic. We will definitely be back!
I have been meaning to send a review on this awesome restaurant. Best food and customer service ever!!! Next time I come, I am eating the spicy noodles alone. Thank you guys for your amazing service, and for your patience with helping my friends and I navigate through the line. I have been talking this place since we visited.
Id struggle to find another place in Atlanta that is able to get it right from morning coffe through delicious lunch and dinner. As a coffee spot, it hits on the three critical elements, Organic coffee, a variety of mixers, including almond milk, coconut milk and pea milk and a welcoming setting to relax, both inside and out.
I’m sorry I hate to leave a bad review:( the food is so bland and dry. It taste like hospital food it makes Whole Foods hot bar look really good! This place needs to work on their flavor you can make comfort food healthy and tasty. Just not my taste, the price is not worth the quality. I’m very sorry to leave a bad review

2022-04-28Karma Farm is the best gluten free option in GEORGIA. If you are gluten free or vegan you have to try this spot! The food is incredibly clean and you feel super charged after eating here. The sweet potatoes are a MUST and their dessert items (brownie/cowboy bar) are gluten free and better than prepackaged options you can find in the grocery stores. You can dine in or grab to go. Atlanta’s hidden gem.

2021-10-154.5 stars. Food was outstanding. Well seasoned, plentiful, and good presentation. It’s hard to find “clean food” prepared outside your home that makes you want to buy a to-go meal but this spot is the truth! Vegan or not you will not be disappointed!

2022-03-25My husband and I brought our son to KarmaFarm for lunch and we left with full tummies and grateful hearts! Our son has severe food allergies and we were so surprised with how seriously they take that. They care deeply about providing patrons with quality, delicious food that is safe to eat if you have health concerns or preferences. It was such a relief to find a place that our 3-year-old loved and we could enjoy the food with no concerns. The owners were extremely friendly and the environment was modern and clean. The food was so good (and there was such much!) that you practically had to roll us all out of there. We were visiting from out-of-state but will recommend KarmaFarm to anyone traveling near the Atlanta area and will surely stop the next time we come for a visit. Thank you so much for this experience!

2021-09-06I work at Publix at Peachtree Battle. Today the owner of Karma Farm Walked by me and greeted me personally and kindly. He explained that because of masks i did not recognize him. I certainly felt i knew him, yet I did not know how. In my mind, as I liked at him, he stood in front of me, relaxed, with a warm and positive vibe.My experience at his restaurant is very much the same. I have truly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and kind people standing in front of me. Any meal i try i enjoy, because when i select a dish someone will warn me if there is any spice in the dish beforehand. It’s fresh and delicious. Your fabulous food selection is right there in front of you to see and choose. Granted, this is not QT with a million drinks to choose from. These are carefully hand made and hand cooked, all personally cared for morsels carefully laid out . I think i once even tried the Salmon 🍣, even though I knew spice had been incorporated into it. .I drank the charcoal drink. I drank the drink because a little description stated how charcoal did something positive for our systems. Usually you’ll see a little rid bit about the heat benefits of something in a drink or a food written on a card, kind of like how they do that at Trader Joe’s.Parking is excellent. Bring an umbrella to walk a little bit , not much, just a little bit, when it rains. Definitely bring an umbrella. Perfect parking in the back of the building. It’s covered and you do r pay for your parking time. Thank god.Phew.I know i’ll keep returning and enjoying bringing people with me. The seating is well done as well. Indoor and outdoor. No pressure if anyone is nervous about covid-19. Really not too high a cost, either. People are personable and helpful, Hope you enjoy. You don’t have to be vegan or vegetarian to eat there.b

2022-04-28Incredible. I have a severe dairy allergy and I don’t write reviews. The owners son has severe allergies and they took great care of me and the arepas are incredible. Our friend group came for bar taco and are so happy we didn’t go and went here instead. This is so much better than bar taco. And they truly are great all around.

2022-03-22Wholesome and enriching food that you feel good about eating and fueling your body with. Vegan and vegetarian options along side traditional meats, all dairy and nut free recipes. Tasty option after yoga or a trip to the farmers market. And a friendly staff who makes you feel as if you went to your moms on the weekend from college and she’s made you a home cooked health meal that warms the soul.

2021-08-28Fantastic place to eat! The food is scrumptious and the people are great! Make the time to drop in - especially if you have food allergies or intolerance. Everything is GF and dairy free. Doesn’t get better than that! Plus! When you eat here you help a child in need. A one of a kind business indeed.
