I ordered some boots to arrive in time for a trip. It said they were in stock so I went through the checkout with them and submitted my payment info. A week later, when I was hoping theyd already be out for delivery since I was leaving for the trip in a few days, I got an email saying they were out of stock and theyd let me know when they were back in stock. Well, since theyd wasted my time and I was now stuck going on a hunting trip without hunting boots, I asked if theyd at least waive the shipping fee once they finally DID ship them. No dice, which was a bit disappointing considering it was them that had messed up. They asked if I wanted to be notified of when they were back in stock as Id need to re-enter my card details, and itd probably be around October/November. I said sure, since I would still need boots for any future trips. I never received an email that they were back in stock. They have plenty time to ship me magazines that I didnt ask for, but apparently not enough time to update their website when theyre out of stock, contact customers immediately if something theyve ordered is out of stock, or even get back to them when their order IS back in stock. Disappointing.
Ordered 2 pair of pants in 2 different sizes. Got an email 2 days later saying unfortunately only one size was in stock and I would be receiving that pair only. My credit card was charged for 2 pair. Received the pants I was expecting and was never refunded the difference. About 2 weeks later I got another pair of pants in the same size they already sent me. I called and had to leave a message for someone in customer service to call me back which never happened. Called agin today (a week later) and in the middle of me explaining the situation (which took about 1 minute) the rude customer service rep said “ok, ok ma’am” which basically means be quiet and starts explaining what she was doing. Seriously, you messed my order upand you have the nerve to be rude? First and last time I will buy here.
My husband and I love this stores selection of product. However the customer service we received the past couple of visits were terrible. In the store for over 1/2 and hour and no store associates ever spoke to us! Not once but both visits to the store. Let me mention that it was not a very busy afternoon. A simple hello would be nice when someone is spending upwards to a $1,000 in your store. Yet the ladies working in the store seemed very unhappy and cold.Very disappointment.
I love this store! I have spent much money with them both in store and online. The young people that work there are very nice but they have one person that appears to be the manager that ruins the experience. I have purchased three guns from them but I feel like his is doing me a favor to help me. Kevin is visible in the store so I have to believe he sees this happening. Could be this guy needs a change of scenery.
Unfortunately they lost my business. Customer Service in need of MUCH improvements. I ordered an item and after 1-1/2 weeks I find out its out of stock. Why did I have to call more than once to find out? Why didnt it say Out of Stock on website? After after 1st call they said they would call back which they never did. Now I know why Amazon and others are successful
My favorite place to shop. They have it all from gifts, household items, beautiful clothes for men, women, and infants. The design if the store, selection if items and the ambience is unsurpassed by any retail store. Awesome and unusual selection. Customer service is superior! Live Kevins!
Was in Coolidge Ga for work and arrived early and figured Id swing through Kevins to browse around. The store had a great selection of clothes and I ended up picking several things up that I had seen in the catalog. Kevin was in the store and we started talking ammo and he had some Id been looking for which I also bought from him. Kevin also told me to just call anytime I couldnt find anything ammo wise locally and they would be glad to ship it. Outstanding customer service.
I ordered a jacket for my girlfriend that was on sale and was first come first serve, due to some glitch in their software, even though it was sold out the site said it was available , so i placed the order and received an order confirmation. Since i didnt hear from them I figured the order was just delayed. I called this company several times to confirm the status of my order and nobody answered the phone. I also emailed several times, they didnt reply. I finally got a hold of them and was told that it was no longer available. They told me that my credit card wasnt charged. Thats a well and good but this was to be a Christmas gift, I ordered it on the 7th of December, it is now the 19th of December and by jumping through hoops I finally revealed the fact that this company could not follow through with calling me to apologize like the website clearly says they would do. I understand things happen, but bring it to my attention sooner, intsead of leaving me out to dry. Dont buy from these people. If you need gunsmithing or engraving, pay for the gun manufacturers to do it. If you need little gifts, shop Etsy. This company is a joke. Customer service goes a long way. They failed miserably. My family and friends have given Kevins a lot of business, but no more.
I ordered a very rare jacket from them (its out of season and NO ONE had it) and I got it within 4 days.Im so impressed by how fast the delivery was since Im on the other side of the US.Also, I like to track my packages so just send them an e-mail asking for the tracking number and they will give it to you!
I ordered some rattan tableware, three pieces, as a Christmas gift for my wife. The order was short-shipped, and in an attempt to reach Kevins customer service to understand why and when it would be complete, was put on hold, then transferred to a remote call center, who couldnt resolve my problem. They offered a direct line to customer service. After the third attempt to reach CS, was bounced back to the call center, who took my name and offered to leave a message for CS. They said CS would get back to me ...usually within one business day. Are you kidding me? They took my AmEx payment in 3 microseconds, but cant get back to me in less than a weekend?!!There are too many retailers from whom to buy this type of goods. Ill never do business with this schlock outfit again.

2022-06-15I ordered Ammo online and some spilled out during delivery leaving me with a $100 loss...I emailed the customer service address and Joseph was quick to reply with a speedy resolution...I thought I would be out the 1000 rounds of ammo that got lost but they rectified the issue by sending me 2 packages of 500 rounds....I know I could buy the same ammo at Fleet farm if available but I like to help out small businesses and shops with family history. I will order from them again from time to time because my other orders were sent without issueThanks Joseph!

2020-03-20Very tight parking but upon entering this establishment was clean, well lit, and very well organized. I wondered around for a few just taking it all in. I made my way to the gin counter and was helped by Dave who was patient kind and knowledgeable. He made me feel at ease with him and I was eager to ask him questions about the types of guns for individuals with small hands and minimal recoil. I had to have my purchase transferred to Thomasville because I have a GA permit. At one point an employee attempted to argue at me about my permit not being a permit with me showing it to him. Other than that I enjoyed my experience and will definitely return.

2022-01-25So disappointed with Kevin’s over and over and over again. Most recently, I paid $24 in shipping for a mens dress shirt that was gastly poor fitting, think arm width 3x normal size. There are little to no reviews to know this before hand. Shirt was a gift in which I was embarrassed and tried to exchange it. Of course I had to pay to return ship it. 2 weeks later they told me my exchange option was not available and I was given a refund. No offer to pick out a new shirt. So if I do pick out another shirt I would have to pay another $12 shipping and risk the same poor fit. So now I basically took back a Christmas gift and have nothing to give! Plus paid for all the shipping! The last 3 times I have ordered from Kevin’s I have received the same poor service and I’ll fitting clothing with no offer to amend their inconvenience. Their clothing is cheaply made and not for actual hunting purpose. Nothing I have got from here has help up or been useful in the field. Don’t waste your time or money.

2021-06-28First time visiting this store and the people were very friendly, finally found the Yeti bowl I had been wanting for my dog. My first time visiting Thomasville and loved everything about this town. Small town with a big heart and atmosphere!

2021-09-26I’m giving 2 stars (because I believe 0 is more appropriate) because the women were personable and the store has some great things however, the men at the gun counter not so much. Today my wife and I were visiting Thomasville and stopped in to Kevin’s to look for Xmas presents for my dad. I saw the gun counter and while I’m not that experienced I thought I could ask some questions to be more informed as I’m very interested in a gun for self protection. The two men at the gun counter barely gave me the time of day and one wouldn’t stop looking at his computer to explain anything. I was literally told to go to visit the Tallahassee location. I’m not that informed of the laws and if I could actually buy a gun in GA, since i live in FL, but I was expecting a bit more conversation to explain the process and what would be right for us. Hoping the Tallahassee location is a bit more hospitable.

2021-10-24Very rude staff. More interested in licking her lollipop behind the counter, than actually selling anything to customers. Wont go back again. I suggest Trophy Creek in Monticello. Less expensive and nice staff!

2020-12-13My last order was just canceled, as the shirt I had ordered was also on back order/no longer available. The balance was credited to my gift card, which I then used for this order. I had to follow up with customer service when I never received the shirt.If the items are no longer available it may be a good idea to remove them from the website so the transaction cannot take place. This has happened multiple times.Furthermore, for my last order and also this order, I (the customer) had to inquire on the status of my order as I did not receive a shipping notification, or any information it was unavailable and or on backorder, etc.Hopefully customer service will improve, otherwise it does not make sense to order from them online.Unfortunately, I wish I could say this is the only negative customer service experience I have had, but it is not...communication consistently seems to be an issue. Also, I sent the above feedback to customer service on 12/7 and have yet to receive a response (not a surprise).

2021-05-26Ordered a bag from them online. 4 days go by and I don’t here anything from them. So I email, nothing. Then I call later in the day. They at least were able to give me answers and cancel the order so that’s why it’s not a 1 star. Turns out they didn’t have it in stock. The website said nothing about that. And they said my order would be good for when they get it back in stock. Not exactly what I wanted to here. What a waste of time. I was trying to have it in time for someone’s birthday.

2021-11-02I had a terrible experience at his store. Came in with my Mom to find a pic rail for my howa deer rifle and one of the ladies asked if I needed help. I asked if they had any pic rails for my rifle and she said she would ask their “gun guy”. She then returned and announced that they don’t have what I am looking for. No sightings of the gun guy. I guess he was too busy for me. When I go to Flint river outfitters I regularly have about 4 people helping me. Disappointed and glad they aren’t in Bainbridge.
