Had a very bad experience i went there two days in a row and waited over a hour each time just for them to tell me they was not interested in anything i had for sale items that include a stroller baby bed and clothes that was fairly new that i purchased from childrens place and the stroller i actually purchased from kid to kid and there is a african american women that always has a bad attittude as if she dosent like her job i will no longer visit or refer anyone else to shop or sell there!!! Evans location!!!
Kid to Kid is one of my favorite stores. I can sell my children’s outgrown cloths, shoes, toys, etc to take in store credit and use to purchase the next size they need. The customer service is outstanding. They go out of their way to help. The items they cannot take they will donate for you to a local charity. They get in new items daily, so you never know what you will find.
Customer service is by far the best I have ever had. Thankful of a place I can trade out my kids items for other things they need. The process is easy & the employees try their best to get us out in a timely manner.
They had me waiting in the store for well over an hour just waiting to see if they would purchase my items. I go to the front desk and ask had they called my name. They said no which one is your bag? They go around asking all the employees had anyone looked at my items. No one had. Then a girl says let me look real quick and in 2 seconds says oh yeah someone did look at your items we are over stocked on size 2 items. No apologies or ANYTHING for wasting my time. Do NOT go to the Washington Rd. location. They are UNPROFESSIONAL.
I’m from Myrtle beach, moved to Augusta last year. We have a store similar to this back home called “once upon a child” and I loved it so I came to this store a few days ago. I came in with a bin full of really nice clothes, a lot of them with tags still attached never worn. I’m a stay at home mom of a 9 month old baby and a two year old. They want you to stay in the store for (quoted) 45 minutes while they go through the clothes. What 9 month old baby and toddler in the midst of terrible twos wants to sit in a clothing store for that amount of time? What I liked about my store back home is you could drop off clothes and then come back when they text you that they’re ready. When i explained I had two kids in the car she still said I would have to wait there. So now I will drive home, over three hours, anytime I clean my girls closet out, such a shame.
You bring them a ton of clothing and get maybe .75¢ to a $1 per item. But come back they selling it at $8 -smh.... Theyre a bit over priced in my opinion.Update..... I read a few reviews where the owners replied the go based of of style and brand. Thats not true. I brought in a ton of Levi and old Navy jeans - which they only took 6 pair because they dont accept huskys 🙄 on top of that I had 2 pair of AIRMax 270 (worn 3x) and only got $27 for it. No one is expecting to get rich when we sell but yall can offer alot more than yall do, then yall go and sale the merchandise at a price yall should of given us for it. I will never come back to this place.
I like this place...good deals...but they always have debit card problems and never seem to take cards....and wow...dont think you can use your husbands debit card...even if you have the same name and know the pin...they wont let you. Very aggraviated after I shopped 3 hours and had a ton of stuff to buy...and then they tell me that at the register and I cant buy anything. Seems thats happened to alot of people. If they dont like taking debit cards they shouldnt have it on their door.
Nicole was super helpful and generally their staff is quite friendly. The selection is wide for the size of the store, and its great to shop for yourself next door at UC after youre done.
Had a great experience. Me and my wife found out we were having a boy and got some awesome onesies. Brittany was amazing, give that woman a beer and a raise!
I absolutely love this store! I would say that 90% of what I buy for my boys comes from Kid to Kid Augusta. They have amazing prices and customer service. I plan to shop here for as long as I can.
Ive been able to get my son Nike sandels for every size so far. We went from 2 to 7 toddler. Never paid over 8.00 for them.
I cant understand why it takes so long for them to go through your stuff and make an offer... I mean, theyre only gonna offer $1 up to $3 per item, it just depends on what you offer. Over an hour wait is ridiculous for $21. SMDH
Extremely rough and impolite employees. I will never go there any more in my life. Service there is like in banana republic. They are screaming at the buyers.

I got there at 2pm and didn’t leave until 4. It took them forever to just pick which item they are going to offer and on top of that they offered me only $10 for the items they selected, absolutely redicolus!!!!!😡

I brought two boxes of clothes. Organized one box of boy clothes and one of girl clothes. After I left everything was mixed up.

We have been using kid to kid since 2010. With 5 children a store like this is amazing!! When my children outgrow they clothes, shoes etc we just take them to kid to kid use the store credit to get them more!! It has truly been a blessing !

2021-11-01This place also has uptown cheapskate inside for the mature shoppers! I love shopping here with my family or just by myself. They always have the latest styles. Most things are brand new with tagsor like new and they have multiple sizes. I can usually find an entire outfit for under 30bucks. Perks are discounted stamps and reward points! I LOVE THIS STORE AND THE ONE IN EVANS, GA. They also have holiday and back to school discount deals.Keep up the great work ladies and gents.

2020-11-18I never come out this way so yesterday was my first time coming in in years. They get 5 stars for their store organization, selection, pricing and customer service that went above and beyond when I visited yesterday. It was easy to find several items for both of my kids (girl/boy) and they have a large shoe collection. Definitely my favorite kid to kid in town!

2020-08-04Kid to kid is wonderful! The staff is helpful and the prices are great. There are lots of name brands and clothes in almost new condition. It’s a great place to find all the clothes, shoes, costumes, and holiday outfits that your kids will wear once and then grow out of. 😉I have also had great luck selling clothes my little one has outgrown. You get back more in store credit and you can earn points for great coupons. Sometimes they have sales where items are 50% off or more. I love getting t shirts here for $1 or $2 instead of paying $5-10 new at old navy or osh kosh!

2020-10-11I went to Kid 2 Kid in Augusta to buy and sell. I love shopping here for my son and getting discounted clothes for him to wear. The staff is always super friendly and they take the time to go over any questions/concerns that you have. I highly recommend Kid 2 Kid to all parents that are looking for quality clothes at discounted prices for their little ones.

2020-07-25Very disappointed with this store and the lazy staff. I came in a couple of days ago with a HUGE box of 90% of brand new clothing and the rest were like-new. All laid flat and folded nicely just like the store requests. I had Janie and Jack, Tommy Hilfiger and some of other brands in the box. I wanted to see if I could get a fair amount of money for the items so I could get my children other items at the store. When I handed the box and asked if I could sell the items to receive store credit, one of the women working there made a comment under her breath to one of the other co-workers “oh god... I don’t want to look through that. It’s too much”. I was shocked. Isn’t that suppose to be your job?I ended up walking around the store for 40 mins which is okay because I expected it however once they call me to the desk, I get told I only get $10 credit?! WHAT??? They only pulled out two dresses that were not even worth much and a couple of onesies that were not even new. The rest of the new items were not even looked through. I had so many things to give but the lazy co-workers wasted my time... being I’m 39 weeks pregnant walking around with my two toddlers is not ideal especially wearing a mask. I won’t be coming here again.

2018-12-12I have three girls, their closets from their shoes to their jackets have been purchased from Kid to Kid of Augusta! I don’t shop anywhere else and it’s been that way since they opened! The staff is FABULOUS! They are so welcoming and always make me laugh! I can call and have them put items on hold for me or to look for an item! They always have what I am looking for! With their prices and deals I am able to find fashionable clothes for my girls without breaking the bank!

2020-03-01Kid to kid in Augusta is the only store I sell my daughter’s clothes. I drive from Columbia, SC to sell. They are always fair with their buys, customer service is always great, and I love that I can donate what we don’t sell! I highly recommend for buying or selling!!

2018-12-12I love coming into this store! The employees are always nice even when they are crazy busy. If I dont find what Im looking for the employees are always happy to help and see if they have it. I sell and shop here quit often to find great deals on clothes for my two girls!
