My kids love this place and are always excited to go to class! They can choose different days to attend have a lot of friends they can interact with each time. My kids have a great time and learn great skills that will help them in life, not only in self defense but in patience, self-esteem, and respectfulness as well. Worth every penny!
Ive been athletic the majority of life, but never have I had such intense training with the reinforcement of an amazing group of coaches and support from peers. Here you are family. At Krav Pro you matter as a person. The entire staff has the perfect balance of toughness and compassion to make you get out of your comfort zone and do amazing things you never thought possible.
My first class was a mental stretch. I found myself being triggered by the hitting and grabbing. Chris, the instructor, was great at explaining each move in detail. Sara, at front desk, was excellent at guiding us through our first class. Angie, black belt, was my gracious, patient, encouraging partner. I had trouble hearing all of the instructor’s cues because the music was too loud or people were talking freely, which is rude toward the instructor and those of us trying to learn.
I love Krav Pro! Since my first class 2 years ago, they always go above and beyond to make the students feel comfortable with the curriculum. Always a professional environment. The instructors are always willing to help and use constructive criticism to help us improve. I feel safe here.
Krav Pro is a very welcoming place and not intimidating for new students. The instructors are great and the classes are lots of fun. You will sweat and work hard but it is worth it! I highly recommend the school and all the instructors. My teenage boys love it here too. Give them a try you won’t regret it!
Krav Pro is incredible. The instructors are supportive and always encouraging. My husband and I joined together and it has been an amazing experience. I would recommend Krav Pro to anybody who wants to learn self defense, get in shape and have a ton of fun doing it. They have daily classes that will fit any schedule and lots of extra training events for those who want to take their training to the next level. 5 stars for Krav Pro and their fantastic facility.
Krav Pro training center is amazing! I have only been there four times but I love it there. When I first walked in the person at the front desk greeted me and made me feel welcomed. The instructors are very nice, welcoming and very professional. Their teaching method is very effective and they help you with many self defense techniques. Krav Pro is a wonderful place to get fit. I am not really motivated to work out or get fit but Krav Pro really motivates me. After the first class I knew wanted to come more!
I have been going to Krav Pro for about a month, and I have loved every single class. The instruction is understandable, practical, and fun. I have never had martial arts training in the past, but concepts are introduced slowly and methodically so even a new beginner doesn’t feel like they are in over their head. The people there are incredibly friendly. Not only the instructors, but the other students as well. Since you are with the same people class after class, you actually get to know the group and look forward to seeing the people there. The only downside is that I can’t attend as many basic classes as I would like, so I look forward to testing and moving up so that I can take more classes. If you want a fun, motivating workout and are interested in self-defense, I would highly recommend giving Krav Pro a try.
Update:When I first joined here, it was great. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and the instructors are awesome. I made some great friends here and it was a shame to leave.Unfortunately, over time the curriculum became boring and repetitive.I trained for 2-3 years here and in my last year here, I didnt really learn anything new so, I decided to move on.The people here are great and youll get super fit if you train regular but the Krav here feels watered down somewhat and more like its designed to get people in the door and keep them, rather than teaching all the techniques that Krav Maga has to offer.
I have been attending classes at Krav Pro for over a month now. I feel stronger mentally and physically in the month I have been training. It is a great workout and I burn a ton of calories in addition to the satisfaction I feel for accomplishing a goal. I would recommend this training to anyone because you can get something out of it no matter your fitness level or goals. I have a personal trainer and he emphasizes that I need an activity I love to keep me interested and motivated for an active lifestyle as gyms and treadmills can feel like a dreaded chore over time and can be hard to stay committed to. In the month I have been at Krav Pro I have never been bored, learn something new each class, and feel more interested and engaged than when I started. The pricing scale is competitive and I definitely feel I get my moneys worth (you pay by the month and classes are unlimited). The class schedule is also flexible - meaning there are multiple classes at different times during the day and evening 5 days a week. I have a friend that joined that works 12 hour days on a swing shift and he is still able to attend classes with no issue. One thing I really liked when I joined is they did not pressure me into making a decision to join. I believe they want people there that really want to be there and this is not all about their bottom line. The instructors really seem to love what they do and want to train you. I will also note that this school is a train the trainer school so instructors from other schools come here to learn (yes, they really know what they are doing). First class is free so no harm to come and try it out. Maybe you will get just as addicted to Krav as I am!
I have been training here for over 4 years and have seen an increase in quality every few months. There are plenty of classes to fit your schedule, the people that train there are all interested in learning and achieving, and the facilities and equipment are great. The instructors are constantly taking classes, refining their techniques and working hard to provide top instruction. They give the students a chance to provide input and share their knowledge. Krav Pro finds experts from law enforcement, self defense and martial arts and integrates the best of what they offer into the Krav Maga principles. Come visit and check it out!
Krav Pro is pretty cool place. The staff are so welcome. You dont have to worry about being late for a class either. They have pretty calm employees. They encourage you to never give up, no matter how tired you are. When you think you have been pushed to your physical limit, they teach you that you always have more in you. Krav Maga definitely boosts your confidence. Being able to defend yourself gives you a sense of security. The first class is pretty hard to get through. Ive been training for about 4 1/2 months and come around 5 times a week, its weird when I dont come. You will enjoy it very much!
I have been coming to Krav Pro since January of 2015. I started coming here as a way to stay fit and learn a little bit of self defense. I have stayed and continued to train because of how empowered it makes me feel. As a young woman, it is a great feeling to be able to feel confident that I could defend myself if I needed to. The instructors are phenomenal. They are warm and welcoming. Krav Maga is awesome training for people of all ages. I highly recommend it!
I had heard of Krav Maga in multiple TV shows and movies and used to pass Krav Pro on a regular basis and wanted to try it out for the longest time. They offer your first class free, so I bit the bullet and showed up! Its been over three years now. I love the facility and I continue to go multiple times every week. The training has helped me feel more confident as well as stronger! The classes are engaging and informative. They offer a number of seminars each year, some free of charge, but the others definitely worth the money!! Not only is it a good work out, but the atmosphere is great and I have met so many amazing new people of varying ages throughout the years. The instructors are awesome and highly certified, showing a genuine interest in each individual, making sure to answer any questions and offering helpful suggestions. I would recommend it in a second to any gender or age.
Love it!!! Been here about 10 months. Im in much better shape (lost about 35 lb so far) and feel very confident that I can already defend myself, if needed. Krav Maga is very practical. You can learn a lot in a very short amount of time and continue to build off of that. But the best thing about Krav Pro is the welcoming and encouraging atmosphere they have created. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient and friendly.Come visit us and give it a try!!!
I have never done any type of martial arts training and Im definitely not the most in shape person out there, but this was the best decision I have probably ever made. I absolutely enjoy going to class! The staff there is amazing as are all of the people in each class. Krav Maga has boosted my confidence and self esteem, as well as helping me tone up and get into better shape. Give it a try! Youll love it!
My son has been enrolled in the Krav junior class for over a year. He has really enjoyed it. The instructors are friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable. Theyre good with kids. I also like that there are plenty of additional fun activities that kids can do throughout the year, like the haunted house and Nerf wards, that help reinforce the skills they learn in class. I definitely recommend this place for any kids interested in learning Krav.
Krav Pro is a great training facility! All the instructors are top-notch and yet very down to earth in their teaching approach. I love that Krav Maga is such a practical way of self defense and that even women can do it! Each technique has been well explained, broken down into manageable steps, and then re-assembled into one cohesive movement. It is a great workout and even after 4 months of training I feel confident that I could defend myself should the need arise.Ive also been impressed with the a professional vibe of both the instructors and the students. As a women, Ive always stayed away from mixed exercise classes, just because I dont like being checked out by the guys. Here everyone is just focused on their own training and Ive never had a problem with that.I definitely recommend this place!
This place is very inviting and educational. The teachers actually care and correct form. The staff is always so helpful and remembers your name after just one time of you attending. It’s so much fun. If you have been thinking about doing something like this, this is the place to go!
For over a year, I have attended Krav Pro. From the beginning to now, every class is unique, motivating, and rewarding. I have gained confidence in a variety of situations from defending my self and family in public areas, walking the dog, or home defense. This is the first program that has me excited to go every day... to learn, see friends, and achieve the black belt. I enjoy challenging myself mentally and physically to new levels in a safe and friendly environment. The instructors are informative and patient. Whether attending a weekly program or an One Day Event, I have found the classes to be informative and fun.
A gym that truly cares about its students and seeing them succeed.I joined Krav Pro almost 3 years ago after I got tired of the meat market gyms and the fly by night Karate/Taekwondo places that turn out to be membership mills. I wanted something different and found it at Krav Pro. Its the first gym that actually treats you like family! Ive never had a gym personally call me to make sure I was happy with the program, to ask what they could do to help me get in more classes and have an actual interest in my well being. The instructors and staff are amazing. They take their time with the beginners and really push the veterans to get the most out of the program. The focus in on self improvement, bettering yourself on a daily basis. Krav Pro is always offering new and innovative techniques as well as field trips to train outside in real world conditions.Last year I enrolled my 10 year old son and he loves the kids program. The focus is more on morals and ethics, how to deal with bullies and a huge focus on respect for others. If you have kids please do them and yourself a favor, try it out. Its a great confidence booster and its a great opportunity to give real world tools to handle those difficult situations they may face in life. Its worth the trip to stop by, check out the facility, instructors and program. One class and you will be hooked!
Looking for self defense training, fitness, or maybe both? Look no further because you wont find a better place. The instructors are phenomenal, the students are friendly and enthusiastic, and the workout is superb. I have trained in various martial arts before. However, this place offered something more -- a higher level of confidence. I now have the confidence to handle myself in any threatening or dangerous situation. So if your looking to get Fit and Fearless this Krav center is worth your time.
Ive been training here for a little over a year and a half, and I love it even more now than when I first started! The instructors are super knowledgeable and the community is great! I had no previous martial arts training, and I now feel capable to defend myself. Try a free class!!
This place really makes you feel like family while providing training that could save your life. From day one, I LOVED this place. Its very family-friendly, motivating, and provides an opportunity for serious fitness. The instructors are knowledgeable, attentive, and supportive. The huge strides in my daughters sense of empowerment and enthusiasm for fitness are reasons enough to love Krav Pro. Add to that better muscle definition and strength than Ive ever had (even with boxing and swimming) and a fun time and Im hooked for life!
I had no martial arts experience going into Krav Pro, but the instructors always made me feel so comfortable and confident while I was learning. A few months later, I can say that I feel stronger and safer. Its a great way to meet new people, exercise and learn self-defense.
I absolutely love classes here! The staff is extremely supportive and fun. They go the extra mile to give you alternative methods to each exercise to meet your physical needs. The HitFit classes are intense and I love the Adult Basic classes. Highly recommend KravPro to anyone looking to get into shape or learning self-defense.
After my six year old little girl encountered a bully, I figured it was time to equip her with the tools to help her successfully stand up in today’s society. After touring a few martial art schools, I chose Krav Pro for a number of reasons. First, after researching Krav Maga, I became very interested in the real-life; situational based fighting methods and styles. As a former Marine and police officer, I know that adapting to situations is a key to success, and in some cases survival. Bringing to my second point, Krav Pro takes time to teach tactic and technique, while providing situational based scenarios for the students. After witnessing the class and even taking one myself, I felt that Krav Pro was a great and competent center to help train my daughter. As well, my wife and I have also started taking classes. From all aspects, I have been happy and satisfied with the quality and level of training provided at Krav Pro. The classes are not only engaging and informative, but they are also fun and a great outlet for day-to-day stress.I highly recommend stopping by Krav Pro and partaking in a free class!
Ive been coming to Krav classes for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it. Its definitely become the best part of my day! The classes are helpful and I feel like I always get a great workout in. The instructors and my classmates are very helpful, which makes classes fun and challenging at the same time.
The instructors are the best, they encourage you, push you, but allow each student to grow at their own fitness and comfort level. Krav is a great workout but it is so much more....it gives you tools to help protect yourself or loved ones.....fit and fearless is the perfect motto. I recommend it to anyone of any age, or gender.
From the moment I walked in the door, the staff made me feel like I was part of the family. You will find every age, gender, and background in the classes because Krav Pro makes Krav Maga accessible to everyone. Get Fit and FearlessThe staff is incredible and very knowledgeable. They are truly invested in making sure their students are safe.
I have been quite impressed with this school and the operation Mr. Richard Swords is running here. One of my chief concerns was being able to train in a safe environment while still getting good training and I have been impressed on both accounts. Further, Richard has been professional and fair with me in working around me having to take time off for the injuries I have sustained elsewhere in my life. It is quite a good school and I recommend reaching out and taking a free intro class to see if it is somewhere you want to train.
My daughter and I both take classes at Krav Pro and we love it! The instructors and coaches do a fantastic job explaining the techniques. Having my daughter grow up learning how to defend herself if needed is very important to me. Too many attacks happen to females and I want her to have the advantage. My training has just begun but I feel a lot more confident knowing I have some self defense skills to help me if I get into some bad situations. I look forward to every class. Thank you everyone at Krav Pro!
I took a free class there just to see what it was all about. I absolutely LOVE IT!! Everyone there is so nice (mostly, I suspect because everyone there can kill you with their pinky), and the work outs are incredible. Im getting into the best shape of my life! Maybe now, people will stop taking my lunch money! If youre interested in learning self-defense techniques and are looking for a great group of people to help you meet your fitness goals, this is a truly great place. Come check it out. Sign up for a free class. Youll be glad you did! I know I am!
Krav Pro fosters a collaborative environment and has excellent training facilities and instructors. If you want to know how to protect yourself in various, practical settings, join Krav Pro as you will learn the art of Krav Maga while getting a great workout and joining a great community of people.
I have been training at KravPro for almost 2.5 years and found that I was out of shape. I have never done any self-defense or martial arts class in the past and my definition of working out involves eating donuts.I walked in the door for my first class to find friendly staff and helpful students. The instructor allowed me to go at my own pace and rest as much as I needed. I enjoyed it, so I signed up.Within weeks of training, I find myself in the best shape of my life. I can run and play with my little girl without feeling like I am about to pass out.
I’ve recently started attending Krav Pro and I love it. The instructors are great and work with you to accommodate and physical limitations that you might have. I look forward to each class. I would recommend it to everyone. I’m looking forward to taking the grand kids there when they come and visit later this year.
I started to go to Krav Pro because I wanted to know some practical self defense and to get into better shape. It fulfilled those wishes but part of the benefit was that my wife liked it. She liked it because after Krav practice I was a lot easier to get along with. The high activity level allowed me to work off my internal demons and not take them home!I was about 73 years old when I started Krav and always felt welcome and encouraged by the staff and fellow students. Its a pleasure to know you can dive and roll just as well or better those young 50 year old kids.
The instructors are all very nice and they encourage you to do your best. They push you, but they let you work at your own pace at the same time. They let you stop and take a quick break for water and such during class. Ive never had any type of martial-arts experience, so this is my first thing ever. Its a lot of fun, and a huge work out. Im always ready to go to class and learn new techniques. Its perfect for who ever wants to get fit and fearless. I would recommend it to anyone of any age, or gender.
I am right at my 1 year mark with Krav Pro. I would recommend Krav Maga and Krav Pro over any other form of self defense or physical fitness. The environment is great and the instructors are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I like the fact that going here does not waste my time. In addition, to the self defense that I learn in class, I also like that I am getting stronger and in better shape during every single class. All you have to do is show up and you will see the results.
I have trained in many different forms of martial arts over the years and so far Krav Maga is the most fun and the most practical. The staff and all of the students I have met have all been very friendly and encouraging. Every class is something new. The warm up is challenging but you can move at your own pace. My 14 year old Daughter loves going to class and is constantly working on the techniques at home. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to get in shape learn how to defend yourself and have a lot of fun while doing it!!!J.T. Smith
This is perfect for anyone wants to be physically fit. Ive been involved with Krav Maga for almost a year now and Ive noticed an increase in my endurance when I run PT with my JROTC unit on Fridays. Its also great if you have any pent up frustration! The instructors are great and very helpful. They are outgoing and always willing to help if you have an question. Id definitely recommend Krav Pro for anyone whos looking for martial arts.
Let me preface this review is about the business and not the practice. The class itself is great. Instructors are attentive but not intrusive and allow you to go at your own pace. They encourage you to keep going without pressuring you or making you feel less than if your stamina isn’t comparable to the rest of the class. That being said, the business side is where things take a HARD turn. After explaining my husband is a truck driver and has a schedule that literally varies every two weeks, it would be hard for us to commit but we were willing to pay for a month and see if we could make it work. It worked for about 3 weeks until my husband switched to working nights. When we signed up we were told it was totally fine. That we could pay for the first month and BEFORE we committed to any additional months we would pay THEN if we wanted to continue. If not then no harm no foul. We initially came in 9/30 and on 11/10 my husband called and spoke to Sarah to explain our absences and reasoning. “No problem! Come back whenever things are settled for you guys” is what we were told. Cut to yesterday, 12/08 and I see we were charged $270 for November AND December. When we called we were then told they needed a WRITTEN notice of cancellation which was never EVER discussed with us. We called and spoke to Sarah who told us it was fine. There was no mention of a written notice. If this wasn’t a purposely hidden practice then wouldn’t they have informed us during that call? They certainly didn’t tell us during sign up but hey, even if I’m wrong and they did, WOULDN’T YOU THINK THEY WOULD MENTION IT IN THAT CALL ON 11/10?? Honestly this has left such a nasty taste for both us especially since the class was enjoyable. We don’t appreciate being price gouged and having hidden clauses that screw people over...especially in a pandemic when times are so tough for everyone. We paid $370 for that one month we attended, $270 for November and $270 for December. You tell me if 4 classes are worth $900. If you try them then just be aware of their shady policies and watch your wallet.
My first experience with Krav Pro was at the Women’s Anti-abduction seminar. I was very impressed then with the professionalism of the staff and trainers and their genuine desire to teach ladies of all ages self-defense skills. I then joined the gym having no former knowledge of Krav Maga or any martial arts training. Although I was a bit nervous attending my first couple classes, I was completely blown away again and again how welcoming, encouraging and professional each of the instructors were and following their lead, the other students as well! I have learned a great deal in my short time there and continue to be impressed with Krav Pro’s desire to educate and train it’s students for not only basic Krav Maga, but also things like the women’s anti-abduction, home invasions and active shooters. They also have a heart for the community in that they donated all the registration money for the women’s seminar to the Gwinnett Sexual Assault enter and for every two facebook check-ins they feed a local child through Streetwise...truly living out the motto: Give more than you take that they have painted on the gym wall!!
If you want to feel physically strong and confident in your ability to defend yourself, Krav Maga at KravPro is where you should be! the techniques are great and the instructors do an excellent job training everyone. they are highly skilled, fun and friendly which makes every training session not only productive, but a good time too!
I had my first Krav Pro class today and by the end of it I understood why this organization has a 4.9 AVERAGE on Google! They live up to and exceed every expectation. From the instructors to the students every face is friendly! I was incredibly impressed and signed up on the spot. The classes are affordable, effective, and fun!Plus, Erteka, the instructor, had a fantastic song list while the class went on. Thats important to me haha!
The cardio-focused portions are brief but high-intensity. Mostly I wanted to feel stronger and safer for practical purposes, and make some of my workouts more functional, so to speak, and Krav Pro was great for that. Instructors pack a lot of instruction into the time and space. It does get a little crowded and theres no locker room. Reviews are incentivized, I hate when places do that because it can skew the feedback. Overall good but I stopped because of the level of long term commitment requested of me once I reached a certain point, combined with the associated cost.
Having served in the United States Navy, and fought in a semi pro MMA League I have found Krav Maga training to be very similar yet more practical for real life situations. Krav Pro has been an amazing place to be introduced to Krav Maga training. The instructors are very well trained, and provide very efficient skills for the real world. I recommend Kra Pro to anyone new to martial arts or with advanced skills. I strongly recommend them to families. This is such valuable knowledge that one day could save you or a loved ones life.
I have been training at Krav Pro since end of February and Im giving them two thumbs up. Instructors are very professional and funny. They are approachable and make sure that you are practicing the right technique. I have trained with other facilities and so far this is the best. My 6 years old daughter and my hubby also trains here and we all love it. I wanna thank my hubby who introduce me to Krav Maga. I lost weight and lower my A1C (sugar level) in just 1 month. I am a person of principle and do not promote anything that I dont believe. I believe in KRAV MAGA/KRAV PRO because they deliver. So for all of you out there who are serious in getting fit and wants to learn self defense, I am challenging you to try it....you wont regret it!
The training experience at KravPro is first-rate. Richard and all of the instructors are very good. Once you take a few classes, you will find the instruction provided is top notch and will help you to stay in shape and learn to protect yourself in real-works situations.
Self defense and getting fit has always been on the back of my mind. When I found Krav Pro, it has everything I wanted to learn and then some. Because this type of self defense is situational, I can actually use what Ive learnt in class to protect myself and others. The instructors are friendly and has lots patience. I would recommend anyone to come try it out. Try out classes are free!
When I started three years ago, I never thought that I would call this place my second home. When I was younger, I took Tae Kwon Do classes and eventually decided that it was not a good fit for me simply because I did not feel that it was very practical for real-world scenarios. Fast forward a few years, and I found Krav Pro Training Center. As soon as I took my very first class, I fell in love not only with Krav Maga as an art, but with the incredibly motivated and friendly atmosphere. I never felt pressured to perform at a certain level or caliber because all of the students in class came from such different backgrounds.I am extremely fortunate to enjoy coming into where I now work every day, and I still hold the same excitement and enjoyment about taking class that I did that first day I walked through the front door. Now, I simply have a higher appreciation for what we do from the perspective of an instructor, as well.Come take one of our classes, and Ill try to make you feel as welcome as I did on my first day!
I have taken Krav Maga at other schools and by far Krav Pro is the best. Not all Krav Maga schools are the same. The staff is super friendly, the Instructors are incredible and the training is superb. I am in the best shape of my life and I am in my fifties. I highly recommend Krav Pro to anyone considering doing Krav Maga, and remember not all Krav schools are the same, take it from me...
Let me say something, I like Krav pro. I dont just like it but I like like it. Ive been an acquaintance of Krav pro for about 2 years now, and I still look forward to coming every day. I am a 17 year old male and I find that Krav pro offers a fun environment and high intensity workouts that can even get me sweating. I have participated in other martial arts and it was nothing compared to what Krav pro can give you in terms of knowlege and confidence in a dangerous situation. The whole idea of Krav is to get you to a high level of effectiveness in a short amount of time and this is what Krav pro does. The classes are 1 hour and the instructors fit a lot into that hour including a warmup, techniques, and high energy drills to get you sweating. The instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable and promote an overall comeraderie that cant really be found anywhere else. So if you are looking for a family oriented, fun place to get fit and fearless, then take a look at Krav Pro training center.
I have been attending Krav Pro training classes for around five months now. I started @ 226lbs/59, though I didnt considered my self out of shape but friends who knew me did comment that I was getting a little husky. My martial art back ground was a little Judo, Wada Ru Karate and kickboxing as well as the USMC martial arts program. I recently retired from a career in the military so I am not unfamiliar with tough training and being challenged. Knowing Krav Maga originated in Israel for the IDF, I figured this was for me.Fortunately Krav Pro offers a free initial class to allow you to figure out if they are a good fit for you and you them. Thoughts after my 1 hour free class -The bad (but in a good way) Was I seriously that out of shape, has it been so long since I have been training or is this stuff really this hard? Getting through a 1 hour class was tough, but not because the instructor/s made it hard, they did encourage you to put in the effort. But is was tough!Lets be honest, if you ever do find yourself in a bad situation in which you have to fight to survive, your heart rate is going to be up, you are going be scared, and you are not going to remember complicated movements. The good- Krav Maga is a perfect personal defense method/style for a guy like me, its basic movements, no complicated choreographed katas, just good ole basic caveman movements! Class was intense, well taught, progression in the methods was good for beginners but not boring even for experienced. This class and style was exactly what I was looking for. The instruction was spot on for the level of training. They motivated you to work hard and be intense, but they also encouraged you if you we tired, slow (recommended if you are new anyway), or just having a hard time with a certain technique.Like I said before, I have been challenged physically a lot in my career. But I looked around me, there were IT folks, doctors, cops, college students, guys, gals of all shapes and sizes there giving 110%. When I spoke to some of students after, these guys and gals experienced this their first time too.Thats what was great about Krav Pro, not only are the instructors great but the students are as well. If you are down, tired, dont get it then your class mates help you, they motivate you, they help pick you up. Thats the sign of a great training center.Enough about me and my first day - Krav Pro offers both Krav Maga, Kickboxing and Kids classes. I can only discuss my experience with the basic (white belt level) and kickboxing because I havent been able to attend the advanced classes yet. They started a new curriculum a few months ago and I found this to be a better method of progression. In the 1 hour class you will cover several techniques every class for the entire week. You will go over a few Striking methods, a defense (choke from side, back etc...) and then they will have you put it all together at the end of class, sometimes with the lights off and music blaring. Like I said, INTENSE! Whats great about this curriculum is if you can only make it once or twice a week then you will get the training needed to progress in the program. The kickboxing class is a great class as well. Focus is on fitness and hitting S@#%. Thats what I am good for! CAVEMAN!! This a a great class to attend if you need to work on your punching and kicking. And a great way to get warmed up ( or worn out) prior to a Krav class. I highly recommend you do both classes.Fast forward to today. 203lbs, I feel better, I can now survive several back to back classes and I just feel great! I have never lacked confidence in my abilities to protect myself or my loved ones but now I have ALOT more confidence and way more tools in my tool box to stay safe. I am excited to keep progressing and learning new techniques.
Why should I learn Krav Maga? you may think or, What is Krav Maga? Why should you not learn how to defend yourself and your loved ones in a world where violence can erupt in a moments notice? AND while doing so lose weight, get in shape and get the mind set, that you can overcome ANYTHING. You might wanna know, where can I learn an awesome, unique and effective fighting style (which is used by LE and elite military units around the world). My husband James T. Smith and my daughter Samantha both go to Krav Pro. I got to experience a Womens Only Anti-abduction class. Being completely new to martial arts, the instructors were very patient and very helpful. The class was insightful and informative, as well as, tons of fun.
The people are very nice and will take time to get to know you. They are easy to approach and are excited about what they teach. It is so rare that you see people enjoying their craft so much and are accepting of the fact that you may not be the same athletic level as they are; I certainly am not the same level as they are. The only thing you have to do is to do your best and fun! They also provide many classes and class times that you are able to choose from so that if you were to work late, you could still stop on by. Along with the many classes, they also have many fun events to keep you engaged in the program. The most important aspect for me was the cleanliness of the place. You will see many heavy sweats in the classes but people here will take the time to wipe down the floor before the start of another class. This is even the case for classes that are back to back. This impressed me the most!I recommend this place whole heatedly.
I signed up for their 6 week challenge. Staff is friendly and supportive. The hours arent very good for anyone with young children like I do, thus no one in my age range (30s). My low rating to due to feeling scammed out of $500. Which I was told was a deposit and would be refunded. Choice words were used during my interview with the owner. The gym is overpriced for what classes are available, $100 a month hitfit only classes. All the different exercises could be done at home.
My son attends the Juniors class and I attend the adult. He loves it because it is constantly going and not a time waiting. He did taekwondo for 3 prior and enjoys Krav Maga much more than he ever did taekwondo. I enjoy the class structure and instructors. I am very happy I joined. The only thing that keeps me from 5 stars is I wish the online class schedule was up to date always and accessible. Sometimes it has issues coming up, or changes in classes are not updated. However, it has not been an issue for me attending.
Loving my experience here! I can second everything all the others have said here...Richard and all the instructors are top notch, they make sure you are challenged and learning while making it enjoyable. You Will Get In Better Shape while youre training, nice bonus. When I started, I was looking for something new, physically and mentally challenging, as well as practical, so that I wouldnt get bored with it. I found all that here. I still look forward to class, several months in. I have learned a lot of very useful stuff to Know if faced with a bad situation. Very. Useful. They offer a Free Look class, so you can actually try a class and see what you think. You have nothing to lose by trying, and you WILL learn something practical to take home with you, that very first lesson!
Ive been going for a few months now and Im truly happy i decided to go. Everyone who works there is amazing and everyone in the classes Ive participated in have been excellent to train with. Probably the best mix ive seen for all levels of fitness and from beginner to advanced students as well.id recommend it to anyone.
I have been here training for almost three months now and have nothing but a positive experience each time I go to a class. Everyone is encouraging its a very comfortable environment to train in. The instructors are AMAZING they genuinely care and are very attentive even with large groups of people in a class.
June 2015,KRAV PRO!If you’re looking to get fit, increase your confidence, learn a skill set that you will keep forever, a skill that will give you the ability to protect yourself and your family. Take a serious look at Krav Maga, don’t know what is it? Go to Krav Pro, check it out for yourself, you’ll be amazed at how simple and how much fun you’ll have working out. You’ll be treated like family, Krav Pro is a very unique school, it is not a typical cookie cutter Martial Arts studio at all. The staff will help you attain your goals no matter what they are, you just want to get fit, they will do that, or if you want stay dangerous and become a weapon, they are there for you, your goals are their mission. Get fit, get fearless, you become the weapon, everything ells are just tools to use if needed. My name is Eddie X and I approve this message. Become a Krav Pro at Krav Pro!Being a member of Krav Pro is one of the most incredible experiences I have ever encountered. With all the extensive training that I have received in the past with a long career in law enforcement, it never came close to the professional self-defense training I have received at Krav Pro. Krav Maga has given me the ability to attain skills I have longed for. I have grown in my health and fitness levels, self-defense skills, and a new level of confidence in my physical ability I thought I would never reach. I grow with every class, Richard sword and the entire training staff is to be commended. Krav Pro can only be described as a professional institution in the incredible discipline of Krav Maga and all that it associates with. It’s a family with a unique personal relationship with all their students’. I’m looking forward to a long enjoyable relationship with Krav Pro, Thank you.-Eddie
I have been attending classes at this facility for a few months now and I have loved every minute of it. The faculty is kind, considerate, and takes time to get to know you. I have several examples of this:1.) My first time going I made the mistake of having a small meal, went to class, and pushed myself a little too hard for someone who hasnt had a regular exercise routine in a while. I was feeling discouraged and sick (which was apparently visible in my pale complexion). Richard, one of the lead managers, pulled me aside, gave me a Propel bottle on the house, and talked with me for a bit. He told me about the variety of people that take these courses (elderly, middle-aged fathers and mothers, overweight, poorly-contidtioned, etc.) and although the instructor will push you, you will not be discouraged from taking a break if you feel you need one. Ive taken him up on this plenty of times (I probably take more water breaks then anyone else in Basic), and because of the different shapes and sizes we all come in, I feel very comfortable finding someone on a similar athletic level to train with.2.) Everyone on the staff knows your name. The instructors take their time to memorize your name and face to make your experience more personable. Even staff members with whom Ive never had a formal introduction at least know how to spell my name correctly when they hear it. I cant even walk into the place and make eye contact with a staff member without them coming across the room to shake my hand and ask me how things are going.3). They have recently begun a practice for first-timers where they pair you up with someone who has been around for a while. This way, you have someone who is able and willing to help give you pointers and understand the technique better as well as give you another friend that you can talk/partner up with on your future visits.I have talked with a few of the other students and first-timers and I have noticed that many of us share a few things in common:1.) We dont like to train alone. We could have signed up for a gym, or just started a running routine, but we get bored from the lack of socializing and eventually quit.2.) We prefer activity over exercise. Before I continue, I want to clarify that I dont mean that you will not get a good workout. Every time I go I get an amazing workout in. So what do I mean? Exercises are repeated actions with the sole purpose of strengthening and conditioning specific muscle groups (running, lifting weights, etc.); Activities are actions which raise our activity level and, while they do help strengthen muscles and condition the body, it is often less effective and results take more time. So, the pros of exercise is that it is more effective, but the cons are that the repetition in a single hour can be very dull; Activity has greater variety, but it will take a little longer to achieve desired results. Now, the beauty of Krav Pro is that it is a perfect balance between exercise and activity. The activities in Basic are designed to help develop large muscle groups and cardio health, all the while providing you with variety to keep you interested. As you advance past Basic and earn the Yellow Belt status, you have more options made available to you. You can attend Combat Fit (which is a class for conditioning and building muscle more intensely) in addition to still having access to the Basic course, and you can also take part in Black belts in Training 1 (BBT1) course which will focus on fine tuning techniques. From my experience, I have noticed a huge difference in my physical health just in the few months I have been training here. Its a great place, with awesome people. Come check it out!
I really like the venue and the instructors are great but the only downside for me is how far I have to travel to get there (thats my problem, no-one elses). It is physical as far as real strikes and blocks and gets you fit, but for anyone who has gone to Krav Maga Global or Krav Maga International affiliated clubs, the following things you may not like:-They use colored belt gradings instead of P1 to P3 then G1 to G5 and so on-Without earning their grading, you will not be sparing with those of higher grades-It is not as full contact for beginners, lower belt colors because they dont expect you to be padded....so few people are, where as KMG and KMI expect you to sort all of this out at the very beginning-You will not be blocking sticks, knives, guns and full force facial punches & kicks from day one like KMG or KMI but you will still sweat your ass off and learn basic hand to hand combat techniques and how to be at home with administering punches and kicks.Once you do advance, I am sure the advanced classes will be as hardcore as KMI & KMG clubs as these are separate but I cannot give an opinion as I didnt go there long enough to grade with their belt system. Would be good if I get to that level, if I do I will update this. The other good thing is the number of classes per week to choose from for the different levelsThis all said, you will still learn Krav Maga (even if your grade type will not be recognised many places), the staff are great and friendly and the facility is definitely fit-for-purpose and clean.
Attended the Womens Self-Defense program with my daughter. It was very well organized and struck the right chord between fun/funny and serious when it came to understanding WHY its important to have some of these skills. I was expecting more talking and less doing, but we jumped right into some really useful moves. Very practical and useful. Plus they supposedly donated all the proceeds to a local womens shelter. It was WELL worth the $15. Highly recommended!
Great training. From day one you will walk out with something you can use in the real world. The classes are well structured, make for a good learning experience and definitely teach you how to function under stress. I recommend it to anyone with a desire to get fit, or anyone who wants to be able to defend themselves or their family should the need arise.
This is an A+ outfit here, some of the best training I have ever had. They are great at keeping things going in repetition over time while also working in new variations and scenarios to apply those techniques. How they manage the classes keeps the use of the moves you learn fresh and different each time. Couldnt be happier with my decision to go there.
Worth every penny & more. Very simple, very effective self defense anyone can do from the 55 year office worker to the stay at home mom to the kids she stays at home with. Very practical & useful unlike most other martial arts that are primarily based on tradition & for show only. Highly recommended
I absolutely love this place! Ive only been here for 2 months and I already feel more confident in my ability to defend myself. The trainers are very helpful and make sure to work with you personally. I recommend this to anyone that asks and even those who dont. Great place, and positive environment.
No matter whats goin on in my crazy life I know when I step in the door its time to do work. Great stress relief u work out and get fit doing it. And you leave all your energy on the mat. You get what u put in and then some. Amazing staff and great environment. Krav Pro Duluth.

2022-04-15Our children have been going to Krav Kids since last Fall. They love the discipline and structure that the classes give them as well as the friendships they have made. Mr. Connor and Ms. Sara are wonderful teachers who are able to teach them and push them but also give them self confidence to get the best out of them. What is an added bonus are the life lessons that are taught during class to make the student well rounded.

2022-03-03This place rocks! This was my first time ever training any type of martial art and it has been amazing. I highly recommend stopping in for a free class because all it takes is 1 and you’ll be hooked. The community at Krav Pro is incredible and makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in the door on day 1. No egos just people genuinely looking to have fun and help each other get better. They have cool shirts and even provide hair ties and Bobby pins! The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and translate their knowledge to teaching extremely well. They care about your health and create an awesome atmosphere. I love this place. The only negative feedback is that there isn’t a water fountain.

2022-03-07Krav Pro is a great gym with a fantastic community. The coaches are supportive and focus on developing you personally as well as the whole class. The progression path is fair and doable for nearly any skill level and those more advanced or determined can be accommodated as well. One negative is that there isn’t a water fountain, but beyond that I would recommend Krav Pro to nearly anyone looking to get into martial arts.

2022-03-07I consider myself lucky to have found Krav Pro; it has personally been a tremendous help for me both physically and mentally. If you are looking for an opportunity to learn self-defense, get in shape and gain confidence then Krav Pro is the place to be. The instructors will teach you how to deal with everyday real-life situations and defend yourself in the most practical manner. Everybody that trains here will push you to be better. Krav Pro provides both morning and evening classes so that it will be easier to work with your home/work schedule. Would highly recommend Krav Pro to anyone that is interested in learning self defense and getting in shape.

2022-02-23KP is more fun and more cardio than I thought it would be so it’s a great work out. This is my first experience with any martial arts and I was intimidated by the whole thing. I like and appreciate the trainers and when I am partnered with a more advanced student they are always very helpful. It’s just a good bunch.

2022-02-07This is an excellent training facility. The instructors are very encouraging and the training offered is both challenging and fun. I have been training at Krav Pro for about 4 years and it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.

2022-03-02Krav training has been great for my son and he loves going to every class! They teach so many things outside of the self defense aspect. My son has learned confidence, respect, discipline, moral lessons, how to deal with bullies, how to diffuse situations, and so much more. Not to mention that hes stronger in general and that transfers into his other sports as well.

2022-04-15Such a great facility with great staff and a lively community of students! Very welcoming of people of all ages and athletic ability, with lots of extracurricular opportunities and events available; even after a month or so your confidence in your ability to protect yourself will be much higher than before starting. Can’t recommend this place enough!

2022-02-12Ive been attending classes at Krav Pro for almost 4 years now. I achieved my Black Belt a few months which was no small feat. As with all of the belts you achieve, you have to put in the time and effort to earn them. I still plan on attending more classes because there is always something new to learn, and I believe this is the place to do it. Krav Pro is not just another gym. They take an active interest in all of the students, contribute to the community, and are always encouraging you to challenge yourself. The instructors and students are a great bunch of friendly and supportive people who make training enjoyable. Whether youre looking to get in shape or learn self defense techniques to protect yourself and your family, I highly recommend Krav Pro. The hardest part is walking through the door. Once you do that, youll be glad you did.
