Kroger in other cities:
So, this store is quite lovely normally. Until you call and speak to customer service to ask if they still have a coin star machine that is currently working. When that customer service representative then tells me, yes it is working, and then I drive nearly 20 minutes across town (because no ones coin star is working) only to find out its broken too. If I had the time and money to waste driving around to places to check coin stars, I wouldnt be needing the coin star in the first place. Quit lying and walk the 10 ft to the coin star and look to see if its working next time.
Close to home, good selection of food choices and fair prices. Good sales every week. Produce quality and selection could definitely be better. Friendly and generally helpful employees, but it is rare if they ask if you need help. You have to ask them.Really should strive to be like other stores that do ask then cheerfully assist.
If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. Nothing but complete disrespect arrogance and complete unwillingness to help there patients.I have struggle to get even my basic blood pressure meds at this pharmacy for months now. The incompetence and unwillingness to do anything or even listen to the customer is ridiculous.I will never use this pharmacy again. I will make sure others avoid the experience I have had as well.
This location has really went downhill. I went there today for a grocery pickup, and literally the first thing I pulled out of the bag had expired more than a week ago. Second item(produce) was covered in mold, and third item - expired over a week ago. I started checking the rest of my stuff, and found multiple other items that were out of date! We drove over an hour to get there, so it wasnt worth returning for a refund, but we definitely wont be going there again! So sad - I used to love Kroger!
This store’s meat department is sorry. Twice I had to bring meat back because it was spoiled. I let the manager smell it and he couldn’t believe it was repackaged. This is not the first time either, they also don’t have a variety selection of meats. Maybe it’s been good for you. But for me, I really don’t care for this store.
I came to buy 12 pack of beer when I scanned it marked as a regular price so I told the lady that the weekly add on line said was a 8.99 but she said “we don’t honor those adds because we don’t have control on what is on the internet” what joke. I hope the store manager train better his employees. After we were told about the price on the internet my wife wants to ask an other question to the cashier but you can see the cashier face getting upset because she knows she was wrong.
Just recently moved to the area. This would be my new grocery store to shop, but after buying bad food on more than one occasion, I will never be back. To name a few, my strawberries had mold on them and the lobster had completely gone bad. I spent $60 on Lobster to bring home and throw straight into the trashcan. Very disappointed and dont trust any food they sell in the store.
We went in last night February 10 around 7pm and bought the items needed for a family Valentines day dinner we make every year and Mr. Russ Ross was awesome! He was so helpful in helping us with all of our selections he cut our whole beef tenderloin perfect and when we told him we had 3 dogs he made sure to put the scrap cuts in so we could grill them so our fur babies could have a special Valentines day dinner too. I only wish there were more than 5 stars on this rating system. Hes what customer service should be. If youre in Kroger Thompson Bridge Rd and need meat or Sea Food ask for Russ.
I used to love this Kroger, but recently each time i visit i leave without things i need because they arent there or the quality of what they have to offer isnt very good.I appreciate the fact that i can find organic meats, but the selection is usually sparse, and the last few times ive been there the produce doesn seem very fresh.I am willing to give 3 stars because the staff and customer service is excellent!
Since this Kroger location has removed many employees from management and hired new employees for upper management and department managersthe vibe of the store has my better positive feel. This store has decreased amount of brand selections. The Meat Department, well lets say I watched many customerswalk away without the cut/cuts they were looking for. I myself was in a time crunch and going to another store for meat was not on my list so I improvised. The selections are few, especially in beef. I also question how sanitary the meat and seafood area is due to the odor. The odor is not as strong as it was, for halfway back through the store the odor was nauseating.I voiced this to upper management and was told they would work on it. Well it has decreased, now the odor is only in closer proximity to the meat/seafood department.New software has been added on the registers. This did make the paying with card with chip more easier, this is great.
Large inside, good quality products and courteous staff. Entrance is a bit convelouted because of the poor building design which does not create a clear sense of welcoming at the middle or left side of the store. The newest stores have this all figured out now but this is one of the last versions of their older, encumbered fronts. Everytime I enter the store it feels like Im coming in the wrong way.The aisles are also a bit cramped but passable. I noted the bottom of the shelves were also bit high off the ground with no roll guards during one visit after a large jar fell off the edge: it seemingly became lost evermore as when I sought to pick it up instead saw that it had rolled way under the shelf. So use extra care to not drop anything near the edges that you arent prepared to lie flat on the floor to be able to retrieve. This Kroger does have a fuel center albeit gas prices seemed a bit higher. I found no manager special markdown area in the bakery dept as found in many other Kroger stores. All in all a decent Kroger of large size but with shortcomings. Krogers good prices and product quality help make up for those.
The checkout lady was very rude. She was in the tobacco aisle. Did not catch her name was a younger darker complexion girl. She had candy in her mouth the whole time and was not saying anything she finished checking out my items and just stared at me. I had to ask her if she wanted my # for the rewards card. Her mouth was so full didn’t even acknowledge me with vocalizing anything she just nodded and looked at me like I was crazy for asking her that. My card would not work the first time because I put the wrong pin in. Instead of saying that she said very loudly your card does not work maybe you should use a different card that will with food still in her mouth. Just very disappointed in the customer service.
This used to be our favorite grocery store. It has gone down hill fast since the new Kroger opened. We went in at 10 pm to get groceries only to find out after filling our cart that there was no clerk to check us out and we would have to use self-check. Wouldnt have been too much of a big deal if there had not been 20 other people with the same problem and one lone woman to deal with the constant we have notified an attendant to help you every time you scan something. She said they let the other cashiers all go home at 10pm and she was all that was left. That is totally unacceptable and there was no manager to be seen.
We have been shopping at the kroger on limestone since it opened but we are thinking of changing to a different store. The baggers are awlful. They crush your bread. Throw too many items in a bag. The only way to ensure your stuff is bagged right is to do it yourself. More people would use self check out if they gave a 5% discount. I pay the price for the groceries then have to check myself out too.?
The western union in this store is a absolute joke! These people dont know what they are doing so much that I left without sending the money I intended to send. further more they converse amoungst each other and to other staff members about their personal lifes or work relationships that should be private in front of the customers. Stopping helping me for several minutes to chat with a employee about someone you work with who took a break 2 hours into their shift is extremely unprofessional!!!! Quit telling people how understaffed you are and telling customers your stressed I heard 5 employees mention how understaffed they were. Unprofessional. That is your place of work a franchise non the less no matter how many employees you have you should be representing your store and management. positively always. There is no excuse. The customers just want a happy fast quick polite service not to hear your complaints about your work environment which make you sound unprofessional rude and trashy. Your supposed to be a team and build each other up. Looks like a bunch of teenagers running the place. Id also like to add last week i was refused the purchase of SPARKLERS because my id was expired! Just because my id needs to be renewed has nothing to do with my age obviously I am still 24 years old and its SPARKLERS!!! ALSO ALSO whenever you buy strawberries from this store the bottom ones are always mushy or moldy!!! I cant stand this store I am not going back!!! Rant over!!!!!!!!
I go to Kroger at least once a week sometimes twice. I do my personal grocery shopping there as well as purchase sodas, snacks for our office store.Every week I collect the money, roll the change usually one to two rolls of quarters and I pay for the purchase of those items with that money. I have been doing this for over a year without incident.Today, After spending $90.79 for my personal groceries we proceeded to my next purchase for the office store items. When I start to pay with the money I gather from our office store the cashier informs me he cant accept my rolled quarters as there could be one quarter on the top and one on the bottom and no money in between. Basically saying I look dishonest. I told him I do this every week, I dont understand the problem, he says he cant take them. So, I proceeded to bust the roll open and count them out and he tells me he cant take over $5.00 in quarters in a purchase. I said you have to be kidding me. This is legal tender and I am sure if Kroger does not want my money I could shop at Walmart. He calls the manager who says we will take it this time REALLY?I do this every week without incident, what happened? and where is the sign stating how much change you are allowed to pay with? Rolled, unrolled? The female manager there, the brunette that always looks like she has a mouth full of something seriously distasteful was on duty today. She always looks unhappy and is not very helpful every time I have been in the store. (Figure since I am going to write a review I will include that as I never would have written one without the incident today) At any rate, I am extremely upset at the simple fact of basically being called dishonest when attempting to pay with a roll of quarters which I have done for well over a year at that location. And just to note...I was only paying with one roll of quarters and $40.00 one dollar bills and 2 nickels as there was .10, so I wasnt paying with a bag of change...Customer lost here and I urge others to pay in change just to see what response you get. I give ZERO stars but had to give it one in order to post.

Sweet tea & that good old Kroger dessert to top off dinner. Thank you Sam, & Kroger, we forevermore loyal & greatfull for Superior Quality Service, its the gift worth giving. Past it on. Be BLESSED.Mr & Mrs. Jeffrey SmithForever loyal Kroger Customers
Dexent selection of organics. This location has a gas station. I just wish I knew what happened to the topo chico? They had it, I asked if they could stock cases instead of 4-packs, instead they stopped carrying it altogether. I have to go to Kroger in Atlanta to get it.
UPDATE 4 NOV 2018There was a stench of fetid poultry water around one of the free-standing meat cases. Surprising this had not been addressed. This smell means that some meat or meat byproduct had come to and stayed at room temp for far too long... More than a turn-off, this is potentially dangerous.
I dont the pharmacy my prescriptions are never ready in a timely manner just today I got a confirmation I was called in at 8:30am so I called them and told them Id be by to pick it up at 11:30 they say ok no problem I get here at 11:40am and its not really another 20min.

2022-05-13RAT INFESTED STORE.Arrived at the store before 8:00 PM. Only one door was open and it had a mountain of garbage blocking the door. Went to buy bread and after looking at 8 loafs that were particularly eaten by rats decided not to get bread. Maybe the mountain of garbage was part of the draw for the rats. I will not return to this rat infested store. Tried to leave a complaint on the Kroger web site but they do t care enough to get your name or phone number.

2022-03-20The click list has gotten horrible. These were the pears I got yesterday. Seriously dont give the people on the click list the worst choices. I guess they are trying to get people to stop using it. I also got ground turkey that was spoiled. The date on it was the 30th so the only way that it could have gone bad was not being stored properly. It stunk. With prices higher then ever no one can afford to throw out food. Do better Kroger.

2022-01-15The fact that you shut the registers down an hour early forcing self checkout isnt cool. We normally shop earlier but due to work and health issues had to go late. To buy 400 in biweekly groceries while 3 front end people just sit in the motorized carts and watch you try to check out that big of a cart in self not right. If I wanted that level or service I would go to walmart with more selection and save a bunch of money.

2022-02-17Closes doors on one side of the store so the elderly/disabled has to walk way around. Kroger has turned into a worse walmart when it comes to carrying about their customers. Then they shut the registers down only leaving self checkout for a full buggy of groceries!

2022-04-07Staff always helpful. If there are more than 3 people in line, they will redirect you to an open checkout line. Always restocking shelves.

2021-12-26What upsets me most about Kroger is the stinking fish market oder you get halfway across the store. All their other shortcomings are a close second to the fishy smell: the slow as molasses pharmacy, the disgustingly filthy self checkout machines, the narrow aisles with displays clogging every open spot on the store floor creating bottlenecks at almost every turn. It is seemingly a race to the bottom with this location.

2021-11-12The associates speak rudely of customers while on the sales floor and cuss. I also bought spoiled food from this Kroger 3 times in the last 2 weeks! I returned to swap one of the spoiled products and the customer service representative was unwilling to mark down another brand to the same price; they would only let me swap for the same brand that was also spoiled! I got my refund and I’m never returning. Two visits in 1 day at 2 different shift times and both were horrible experiences. There are other stores nearby and I highly recommend going to their competitors instead.

2021-03-09I and my husband have shopped here for years, and the thing I like the most is their customer service.I have lived in the cities as well as in the country, and one of the benefits of rural life is people seem just a bit more friendly and caring of their neighbors. That positive attribute of rural life is infused in this Kroger like none other I have known, and when my better half lost his phone and they didnt find it at the customer service desk one of their employees offered to place me on hold and look for the phone right away and found it much to our relief... Thank you Charity! :) Most places I know would have just said it wasnt turned in and to call back, but there, customer service is not just a forgotten art but a quality that they still hold to and one that I cherish as well. Thanks for great customer service!
