The young with the blonde braids has a horrible disposition and definitely needs to learn what customer service means. The equipment is old and in need of repair or replacement. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to workout. This aint it !!!
They can do a better with managing the gym with having people put the dumbbells and plated weights back in there correct place...
My trainer Bianca Miller is at this location not too crowded. I see a lot of the team members with spray bottles and rags wiping equipment down which is good due too covid-19. But other than that clean environment friendly people, but remember its up to you too stay safe and healthy. So always make sure youre wearing your mask and Always have your own hand sanitizer. Enjoy your work out
Ive been a member for three weeks and have visited the club 3 times. The club is set up well with a cardio, free weights and machines areas. There is also a pool and handball courts.There are mens and women locker rooms with bathrooms, lockers, showers and steam room. The lockers are a little beat up: some of the loops where you put your lock are bent and some of t he lockers do not close all the way. There are always a few bathroom stalls out of order.Some of the cardio machines are not in good working order: for example I used two different ellipticals where the tension did not change no matter how much I raised or lowered the tension.I got an call from the trainer, Shibbon, to schedule me for a training session. I got the impression that she was not hearing me she asked me if anyone had talked to me about the club features and I told her no and she answered awesome. I scheduled a training session with her. I arrived at the training session early and sat down to wait for her after letting the manager Ken know. Ken texted Shibbon and let me know that she said she was minutes away. I gave her ten minutes and told Ken that I was not waiting any longer. Ken said, while I was waiting that he didnt know what was wrong with these young folks. But I wonder what was wrong with Ken. He had the perfect opportunity to start my appointment (he didnt seem busy) and let Shibbon take over when she came in. But he didnt do that. Ken even asked me what did I think of the club and I said it was okay. Why didnt he ask me why just okay? Why didnt he ask me what could make it better?So yes, the club is okay. And I will keep going to it mainly because I get my membership free through Silver Sneakers.
The front desk Hostess definitely leaves a great deal of hospitality to be desired.I tried this gym on a 3 day pass and the initial checkin was like pulling teeth. I dont know if it was because it was 7 am or because I started on a Monday.Secondly, the place is dirty. I dont mean spot cleaning. They do a little spot cleaning here and there. Yet the carpet is in dire need of cleaning!! The whole place just needs a deep cleaning.Whats good about the place is they have every piece of equipment to be desired in a gym, several raquet ball rooms, a nice group exercise room and a decent space to stretch and bring your workout to a close.Either way I wont return. I have a membership with a different gym brand. I couldnt see myself switching.
Very nice gym. It appears to be a lot bigger than some of the other clubs I have been to. Clean lots of equipment. Friendly staff.
The gym is decent. Its not as big as the one in Southlake and it doesnt get as crowded.
OMG this place is gross! I dont know how health dept doesnt shut this place down. The locker room belongs on an episode of forensic files!!

Best LA fitness in the area. Much better than other locations within an area of here, I’m a truck driver so I’ve been to all of them. Bathroom and showers were clean, overall clean place. Still some of the sane problems as other places, paper towels on ground here and there, people don’t rerack weights and leave dumbbells randomly all over the gym but it’s much less than other locations
I am so glad and thankful to be a LA Fitness member. I just love it. The Aqua classes instructors are great 🙌. Everyone greets you with a smile 😃😊
Everything here is old. The equipment is rusted and poorly maintained. The dumbbells are thrown all over the place.
Management is rude and borderline incompetent. Would not honor my 4-day guest pass because “there is too much free going on around here”. If your organization has a business model, stick to it. I can find another gym to give my money to. And if you are already a member, I would recommend another location with better service and leadership. I believe the guy that was lacking any sense of customer service was Kevin.
Very, VERY poor communication and consideration from Ken (one of their managers). He is only interested in making money and having you commit to a membership. After we discussed one of HIS mistakes (which he fully admitted to), he did nothing to try and make it right and told me if I wanted to get to the bottom of it, I could call corporate (that is HIS job to get to the bottom of it). After this conversation, I knew immediately that I would not be getting a membership here. Ken is dishonest and I want to caution anyone who is looking to go here.

LA fitness is the best gym in town. All the weight machines and cardio needed to stay in shape. Clean gym. Friendly employees.
They need newer cardio equipment. A better selection. Meaning: have you walked into another LA fitness and felt sorta at peace, like you knew you were going to reach your goal at that particular facility? Yea, you don’t get that feeling here. Everything is just old, they totally need an upgrade.
Swimming pool and spa is generally functional for the most part. I love my yoga classes and even during the pandemic that had virtual classes to offer. Can sign in using their app. Ladies locker room is always clean?
My non biased opinion. The car break ins are terrible though I’ve noticed they have a security patrol the past few month. The equipment is usually clean and working. People of all fitness levels go here. My main issue with the gym is the bathrooms are always dirty. Never any paper towels or soap. The manager Jennifer is real cool. Been going to this location for 7 months and have not had any issues. I recommend.
Sign up was a breeze. They give each member a bottle of sanitizer during their visit to use personally. The sauna and pool are still available. This is definitely my new gym membership home.
Staff is always friendly and welcoming.The facility is always clean and weights are in the proper designated areas. Usually not too crowded so you are able to get a great workout in.
This LA Fitness location does a great job of keeping things clean and plenty of cleaning supplies for your workout. Workout at your own risk. No mask mandate, just temperature check at the door.

As I was leaving this gym 01/15/21 I noticed a group of guys next to my car. They were arguing about a basket game. They were also leaning on my car. I proceeded to my car and got in trying to get myself and my car out of their altercation. As I was backing up, shots were fired. Well over 10 rounds between the guys. I immediately got down inside of my car until the gun fire stopped. I did not get shot during this exchange of rounds, but my car was shot several times. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLUB . They have parking lot security but apparently he heard nothing and saw nothing. The club has not helped me with getting to the bottom of this or made me feel safe to return to this establishment. The corporate contact number does not work either....
I felt comfortable at this location. They have spaced the equipment very well, everything was nice and clean and those who had their masks down briefly were drinking water.
I just got my membership about 3 weeks ago. LOTS of different machines which I love, and every other machine is “out of order” for social distancing. They don’t enforce a mask policy however; but I’m ok with that because that’s the chance I take with going to a gym during a pandemic lol Good customer service, no problems so far.
I love the branch on Highway 85 Riverdale the staff is awesome it feels like my gym family they know me and my daughter by name both managers are awesome night crew is the best when I go to other branches its okay but its not like Highway 85 in Riverdale

My rating is based off the entire visit. I came in on a guest pass and the front desk staff were professional however the sales guy was horrible. His tactics were not convincing & a little offensive as well. The overall gym and equipment were clean. My session was nice but if I could’ve avoided speaking with a sales rep just to activate a guest pass, then it would’ve been better and maybe I would’ve even signed up for a membership but after speaking with him, it was a strong no for me especially at this location. Teach the sales team a different approach because his was not it. So instead of my guest pass being activated for 4 days he only activated it for one day because he told me he couldn’t benefit from me.
In town on a bussines trip, needed to get a work out in so I came in they gave me a free week pass, provided great customer service, gym was nice and clean. Juice bar got good drinks and protein
If its motivation that you need come in and take these classes. The instructors here and amazing and the juices and smoothies at the bar are great
The Staff exceptional service, My stars was lost on the dirty whirlpool, I guess people think thats a tub. I love the Gym!
This La fitness is smaller but they have all the needed equipment. The staff gave done a great job cleaning during the Covid-19 virus. Overall a good experience.
All cardio machines need to be repaired along side the tvs connected to them. covid actually helped this gym out. By social distancing every machine cant be used however it has come to the point over half of the cardio machines seem inoperable, and the tv dont work and the ones that do dont get ESPN.
I go. i workout. i leave. Never had bad customer service. Never had a problem with others. They always have security in the parking lot. I like this place. If you are looking for a gym to get in shape this is a good place to go. Not alot of meat heads and you wont be intimidated. A good mix of women, men, old and young.
Friendly staff, good space between equipment and a diverse number of food exercise spaces including a basketball gym. It’s a great place to get healthy.
I really like this location because they keep it clean. I mean a little too clean. Often times Im on the machines and the cleaning lady will be wiping around my feet and spraying her chemicals causing me to choke in the process of working out. That is little annoying, but Ive never witnessed their garbage cans overflowing with paper, the toilets are clean the counters are wiped down, the sauna is clean and piping hot and the equipment is clean as well. Additionally, The staff is friendly. The only reason why Im not giving this location five stars is because theyve had issues with break-ins in the parking lot and people breaking into lockers. So be very careful and keep a close eye on your personal items. Aside from that, no complaints about the location itself its a good LA Fitness and I went to a ton of LA FITNESS locations throughout the Atlanta area. Also 99.9% of the machines are always working and the instructors work hard to provide quality classes.
Such a clean facility full of helpful employees. This company embodies the motto “the client/customer is put first” and makes everyone feel welcome. I’ve never personally had a bad experience here and the management seems to be on top of things. Keep up the great work!
Ive been a member since 2001. Cant remember how long Ive been going to this location but Ive been in the area for 15 years now. Ive had to call their headquarters because I sustained bumpy rash from their filthy hot tub...I didnt know that much dirt was in it until bubbles timer stopped. By then I had been sitting in there for a while. 2) 2 young men walked into the ladies shower room while I was standing there buck naked: One walked in. It appeared that he was caught off guard as if it were a mistake, the a couple of seconds later, another dude around the first ones age walked in and just stood there looking at me for a few seconds. I was pissed at that very moment but, I was traumatized for about 2-3 months after that. Seriously had flashbacks and feared that they would be there the next time I went. Needless to say, when I reported it to the front desk no one did anything about it until this day. I went two weeks ago for Yoga, it was nice. The instructors are nice, however, management made us workout with out any air conditioning/circulation in the room. I almost passed out, EVERYBODY in the room was sweating profusely. So much that the instructor had to excuse herself halfway through to go and get a paper towel to wipe herself off. It was because we werent getting enough oxygen...inhaling each others carbon dioxide.That discouraged me from going this weekend. There is always something wrong at this location.

Great place to meet positive minds with the intent of achieving physical fitness. Being in college Park I find the crowd to be more mature here.The locker rooms are clean and the place is kept rather neat. They have a swimming pool and suana which I use from time to time to help with purging impurities. Its conveniently located next to the Walmart plaza on old national.I go daily in the mornings so its not too crowded.
Ive been to a couple of La Fitness around town and this is one of the best. It definitely one of the cleanliness ones. And the locker room is relatively clean. The showers are decent too. Just wear slippers in the shower.
I have lived all over Atlanta and this is by far the cleanest LA Fitness I have ever been to. It is never overcrowded like the intown and north Atlanta locations. The only reason I give 4 stars is because there have been many reports about car break-ins. I am always aware of that when I go to this location.
THERE IS HOPE! I got my membership just last week in the state of Oregon. Ive been to 5 LA gyms in the last week on the east coast, the ones with poor ratings were just that, poor. Stinky smelly and I couldnt wait to get out of there.BUT THIS ONE :) Friendly staff, friendly people, CLEAN SMELLS NICE staff constantly walking around and cleaning! Yes please more gyms like this one :)5🌟
The facilities and the machines are absolutely horrid. The equipment is pretty updated but I attend the douglasville location quite often and its ALWAYS clean and refreshing. The machines here are never cleaned, the lockers are so filth I stopped using them after I seen a roach crawling in one because the never santize them. I wont even talk about the restroom. The only amazing thing about this gym is the new health bar Karma Nutra. Whitney is amazing and her entire menu is actually healthy and helps you improve your workout and diet!
I enjoy coming to this location because its near my home... my only complaint is that the whirlpool is always closed for maintenance! It would really be helpful if they would send members notifications when the pool area is under repair!

Sick and tired of having my vehicle vandalized and broken into because the gym and the building owners refuse too provide sufficient security. Last time I was here, my vehicle along with for others was broken into. Unless you see the police sitting in the parking lot, dont go. Get this, one employee even admitted that management has instructed to not make patrons aware of the rash of car break ins. Smh
Old National location is nice, the Saturday morning cycling class is the truth....I think the young lady that teaches it is former military....lol....I love her passion. The pool has to be cleaned periodically is the only issue I have with them from time to time.
I frequent 4 la fitnesses, with the Sandy Springs and Old national being my primary locations. This one is definitely one of the better locations! The crowd seems to be the lightest compared to other locations, and also less clubbish than the camp creek location. The locker rooms are mostly cleaned continuously throughout the day. At first they didnt have a smoothie bar but now they have a decent one. Keep up the good work! Really no complaints!
I just left this location and the customer service was HORRIBLE. My partner and I were not greeted upon entry. The guy at the front counter is only there to troll females, however he didnt even attempt to scan my code on my phone for my complimentary 2 weeks. He swiftly transferred me over to a very unsympathetic member of the consultant team. He only viewed my device and told me I should return to where I received my pass. Im not sure how much you guys consider customer service, but Im sincerely hoping this is not it. Granted, my one membership fee may not impact your business but others will see this post and know I am not pleased with my experience in your facility. As an assistant manager in customer service for 10+ years, I understand that customer intake is the most important process of the customer service flow and experience. I hope this is viewed and changes are made. Unfortunately, I wont be attending this location EVER AGAIN.
Excellent, & clean.. I feel safe to workout here. Just make sure Alllllllllllll Of the staff members wear their masks at Alllllllllllll Times!!!! (Had to tell one if the females there, that i believe was part of maintenance/cleaning, when she was up front, to put on her mask! She looked at me crazy! IF THE WHOLE STAFF HAS TO WEAR A MASK... WEAR YOURS TOO, and dont get upset with a patron for telling you, YOUR POLICY!!!!)OTHER THAN THAT.. it was a great experience!
The pool is unheated and has been that way for over a month. Have complained but with no results. They say they are waiting for a part, but had this LA Fitness been on the Northside believe me it would have been fixed long time ago. Some things never change!
Workout all the time at this location. The Operations Manager is wonderful. Front desk personnel is fantastic as well. Gym is always clean, and the equipment is always working.
Went in today to discuss, possibly, joining this gym. Sales lady was cool and supposedly gave me a two day pass. I leave and return later to use it and the big guy at the front already has the membership scanner out. I hand him my I.d. And he says with an attitude, I asked you if the membership was on here, I said no you didnt. Then he turns around and tell me my two day pass was expired after I was just given one a few hours earlier. He did not try to fix it, didnt apologize nor did he call over the sales lady. My second bad experience with LA fitness and Im completely done. To hell with them! Planet fitness here I come!

Car Break Ins are common at this location. Almost every day there is broken glass in the parking lot. I spoke with someone about this morning and they said they have no control over thar Obviously but Thanks for the reassurance. Dont leave anything worth value in your vehicle. Its a gamble evertime you park to workout.
Was able to shoot some hoops with my own basketball and by myself!!!The goals are quite high for little ole 5 stature of mine 😄😉
Joined The Gym! Only paid $85for 2 months upfront! $30 each month with basketball courts, Sauna, hot tub & pool & lots of Equipment to use. Thanxx

I love the fact that this place has a childrens club and it allows me to work out free of worry I love the fact that everything is working now and that the instructors are very very caring and they work you to make sure you get the most out of your money also they do have a good line of communication wear if the instructors are not there they will let you know LA fitness is great on old national camp Creek and Southlake

Why are the LA FITNESS pools(College Park) and other Atlanta areas pools always closed ? All the time!!! for months and months at a time.Then you go to another LAFiTNESS come to find out their pool been closed for almost a year!!! Whats is really going on w/maintenance and keeping the pools open and up to par? Staff says It will be open next week We had to get a new part ? Still not open,Its been 3 months .SMDH.
Cool gym right up the street from the house.. it’s kept clean and for the most part they keep the weights put up off of the floor unlike Covington hwy la fitness... Oh just a tip and friendly reminder. It’s still on old national so don’t leave anything of valuable visible in your car or it will get broken in to.. security work the parking lot but a car still gets vandalized everyday trust me!!
Seriously they need someone else running the personal training section of their business.She should get herself a planner,reminders,something so she knows how to get back to people and help them properly.UPDATE: 11/04/14:After being told they could cancel my personal training and would take care of it basically,they are still billing my account and they wont go away. NO ONE ever called me back to tell me what was going on or how it was going to be handled,and now when i tried to call the gym to speak to Dorothy the personal trainer who signed me up for all this bullshit,they inform me that she no longer works there.awesome,great job LA fitness!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this la fitness. Very clean and well kept. Way better than camp creek location. The only bad thing I have to say about this one is the rude guy that sits at the desk to check you in. Unlike several other locations the machine to scan your pass is behind the counter so you have to wait for a rep to scan your pass. This unhappy guy will you see waiting there and continue with his conversation or act like he is busy on the computer. I visit here at least four times a week at the same time and he does the same thing at least three times out of the four. To avoid confrontation I just wait patiently until he decides he want to work again. Other rep are very friendly and helpful Idk what his problem is but I wish he would get it together because no one wants to wait five to ten minutes just to scan a badge to get in a gym when their is no line and only takes seconds to do.
I like the gym. It’s at the end of Old National but it’s a well kept gym. The place is always clean and the front staff greets you as you come in. Fitness people of all levels. I recommend
Love the variety of classes, Zumba, water aerobics and many others. As well as the equipment. My Favorites is the Pool and Hot tub after a good workout.
Somebody broke my car window and trashed my car on 3/21/2018, with the security parked outside. 3 more ppl cars were also broken into at that same moment. I saw broken glass on the ground in two different parking spaces the week before my incident. I called the Police that never responded. I filed a report with the security guard. I called the property managers who never return calls. I spent $175 to replace my broken car window and $30 to replace the tint. I cancelled my membership and they refuse to return my enrollment fee, saying theyre not responsible for the parking lot. I will never park on Old National again.
Who wants to work out where nothing works. No towels. Every time you call you’re put on hold. Even if your question would take less time than you being on hold.... come on guys you think the L A fitness in California or other nice neighborhoods go through this. How much does this company make per month? Shut this Shhhh hole down and stop making people pay for stuff they can’t use. I would never recommend LA fitness to any one. Smh. The most horrible experience ever It was to my disdain. Disgusting front desk customer service of all times with my children present . I even asked him if he was having a good day aka Marlon . Then to my disgust called back to discuss my disgust with the Operational Manager Camisa and she too had an attitude as if I was out of place for asking her for a reprimand of her Bestie . Very ghetto and disgusting customer service. Totally will cancel my membership or go too the branch on Camp Creek !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!STAY AWAY TOTALLY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM FRONT DESK AND THE DISTASTEFUL OPERATIONAL MANAGER FOR A USE OF A BETTER TITLE.

Giving them 1 star because I am forced to give nothing less. I went to this location with my nephew late at night to get some practice in on the basketball court. He has been here two weeks as a guest and never been told by the multitude of locations we have visited around Atlanta he cant use the courts. Which was plain dumb anyway. ITS PART OF THE GUEST EXPERIENCE...SMH Any how when we first came in the lady was very unprofessional. She said yall know you have less than an hour left. We had no greeting before this which would have allowed me to ignore her ignorance. As a result of this I will not visit this location and would not recommend this location unfriendly staff. Corporate should look into this rule, only because I was going to add him on to my account until this unpleasant encounter.

I absolutely love this location. I live closer to CLUB Camp Creek but Ill drive the distance to come to Old National. Better equipment, much cleaner and not to mention, the staff is very professional, informative & polite.

BEWARE THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE! My personal belongings were thrown out of the locker worth over $300 worth of items. no one knew where they were. I forgot it there the night before and they broke my locker and supposedly it was tossed out! Today they broke into my car and someone else right next to me. Glass was broken and personal belonging stolen. Worst place to workout from, dont feel safe its the HOOD with a lot of criminals. BEWARE!
The LA Fitness on Old National is like a dimond in the rough. I continue to be impressed with the service, equipment, and cleanliness of the facility. They also offer a kick your butt spin class on Wednesday and Saturdays!!!
They Finally change up the Security in the last 9 to 10 months. The crime activity has slowed down a Lot! It looks like they Added some Video units with Blue lights, and additional Security with the Police. Something called Lockdown.
The staff is has gotten nicer however the showers are always in the same unclean state. I signed up bc I thought for these prices it was considered the elite Im definitely considering canceling soon.

It was unfortunate to see thefts breaking people cars at parking lots yesterday by near to 8 o’clock PM. I hope management take swift measures immediately to prevent this type of things in the future other than that it was great place for entertainment!
This gym is great. The only way it could be better is if they had a tv I could stream video to in the aerobics room so I can workout to my own exercise videos

If you want you car broken into go here their Security do not look out for your car. 17 cars where broken into the day they broke into mines this is not a good play to work out

As a member of LA Fitness I am finding a problem with the pool and the whirl pool not being available the pool should be checked nightly to prepare it for the following day yet the tenants or the front desk operators tell you that they only come two times a week now the pool is not gonna be open for another week as a member I feel like we should be reimbursed part of our membership dues for the number of days that the pool is closed I use the pool for arthritis in my right knee and while the pool is close I have no way to work out for my right knee someone needs to do something quick.
Bathrooms are always nasty and the sinks are always busted! What are they doing with all the money they get from us every month? Its a shame! ☹

Front staff was very rude and she had zero respect been a member for a long time unacceptable.
The peopele working the door need better customer service skills .....i have gone many times and not been greeted how hard is that to do for paying customers....the females always greet but the men are horrible.thats the easiest job to have greeting people...
The key for this facility is everyone is focused on the workout.Refreshment station is Awesome
Wile working out I kept being intrupted by the same cleaning woman cleaning the same machine.... My machine!Every where I went this cleaning lady followed me and cleaned my machine wile I was on them.

This is one of the best LA Fitness gyms in Atlanta. Much better than Camp Creek, which is in the vicinity.
Always get a great workout here, equipment is well placed and its always clean.

2022-05-28I’m From New York Visiting Atlanta and decided I wanted to get in a workout. My Niece and I were welcomed with open arms. The Manager, Ken was very dope. He made us laugh and was very welcoming. Jessy was also very Friendly and helpful. She helped us get started and made us feel very comfortable. Their customer service was A1. The Gym was nice and clean and the environment all in all was was just amazing. If You’re In Atl I Suggest You Go Check This Place Out!!!!!!

2021-07-03Have just about all the machinery and amenities you would want in a gym. Plenty of parking. I rated this gym a 1 due to poor poor poor customer service. I had never been to this gym before and I asked the front desk check person where was the locker room and she just said “back there”. Then another woman was interested in possibly becoming a member and the front desk person brushed her off. Horrible customer service.

2022-04-08Went to start a membership. As soon as you walk through the door, youre greeted...sweet! I started my membership, received a detailed tour, it was great! My tour guide... well lets just say he had a good sense of humor and he was definitely knowledgeable of all my questions and concerns. I love the cleanliness and the atmosphere of this gym.

2022-03-23Ive been a member with LA fitness for about 20 years. Ive been to camp Creek, tucker, Conyers, Decatur, etc. Not one time out of those 20 years a aerobic instructor shut down the hot tub to teach a class. I went to LA fitness on old national on Wednesday March 23 2022 around 5:45 to sit in the hot tub after a long day of work. Some water aerobics instructor came and said she was going to shut the hot tub down at 6 oclock the hotdown because she about to teach a class. Never had that happen. So myself and others did not get out We pay money to come here and enjoy all the amenities! She then hit the emergency shut off button and a member actually turned it back on. That is really crazy and unheard of! Since when some water aerobics instructor have the authority to shut something down??? Cooperate please explain.

2022-05-21The only thing really great about this gym is the facts that its on the southside, and you dont have to drive to Atl to get here. Im in here 5 days a week, so trust me, this is an honest opinion. This has nothing to do with customer service and everything to do with the feel of the gym.The gym is severely outdated. Barely any light gets into the building, save for the windows in the front. The layout of the weight training floor is not really ideal, the machines are very close together. Carpets throughout the facility need to be updated.The womens locker room area has poor circulation. Between the showers, sauna and pool - this whole area gets so stuffy. Its less than ideal.

2022-03-03Carpet is time to go, no place for a gym. Fungus and mold hides in it. Floor cleaning requires attention. All the newer remodeled gyms have better equipment and no carpet.On a solid note Good staff.Please replace sound system in Zumba. It is done dada....

2022-06-07Saw a guy get mistreat this morning by the front desk lady.all the women that work here are out of order and the male manger allows itthe lady that does classes in the pool close the jacuzzi down to have swim lesson when i pay faithfully every monthwhen are we gonna contact LA about this

2022-05-10This location needs to be updated and a good cleaning. The pool area is not as clean as it can be, the spa is very nasty looking, retailing the suface is needed.
