Great gym, but customer service smh. I don’t understand why people get a job that requires communicating at the front desk or, God forbid, answering the phone. There’s no point in being rude over the phone and it takes a lot of nerve considering I’m a customer that would be coming in to see that person face to face.
Home gym, love that I can swim laps. Free weight area does seem to be a little crowded. There are definitely some cliques that are hard to break the ice with. If you are the head down, just let me work out in peace and quiet type, this place is for you. Friendly staff and I look forward to trying some of the classes.
Had my membership and my son’s done at Woodstock location on Town Lake Pkwy. Also we were told we had the guest privilege to take with us and so we did take my son’s best friend with us to play racquetball several times with no issues at all. One day we decided to go to this location close to Wade Green, thinking we could use the courts because it was on our way and closer. Then one of the short guys on the front made an argument about us not having the right to bring a guest with us because the system showed so, also that we had to pay a extra $5 for using a different location due to membership type and policies.I told them I did not know about that and had never had any issues at Woodstock location before. Needles to mention the arrogance of this person and the lack of sympathy towards a customer and the 13 year old kids.He could just have been more polite and let us pay the extra $5 and let my son’s best friend use the court for once. But instead he insisted no guest, making the kid feel bad. Just a rude action of an unhappy man if you ask me.His arrogance made my son to say not to worry and just leave. But we only had 40min to play and had no time to go else where at the time. The kids thought of him the rest of the day. And honestly we don’t even got his name, we could not care less about it. Won’t go back to that location.
Where does one start with this gym , for starters customer service is non existent here the manager and morning shift do a horrible job of acknowledging customers entering or leaving this gym half the time they do not say a anything , the previous manager did a much better job.Every morning there are weights left out everywhere no one does a sweep the night before to rerack for the next morning.Machines go down for maintenance for months here!People filming themselves working out and no one says anything this is against the gyms policy as well as those people taking off there shirts while working out no one wants to see that no matter what kk d of shape your in. I get a much better experience at other LA fits around town I would steer clear of this circus on wadegreen rd.
The only merit to this place are the employees at the front desk.The mens locker rooms/bathrooms are often dirty and feels like it only gets mopped once every week. Ive noticed same stain on the floor for few days before its gone.The gym has almost no air circulation for the amount of people that are here. The AC doesnt seem to be able to accommodate the size of the place and there are absolutely no fans(ceiling or standing).Most of the cable machines(row, cable squat, fly) have been out of service for over 6 weeks and still not fixed.For some reason, barbells are always missing and the game of musical barbell ensues.Most people do not know how to put back the dumbbells after use and often have to be hunted down (this is not the fault of the establishment directly but they could enforce the rules)
Been going to this gym for about two months, the same equipment is still broke. one of the machines seemed to be fixed today went to use it and it was still one of the machines that had just been repaired.and it was still broke. Went into the mens sauna the entire bench totally collapsed with all these guys in there. Seems like a lot of maintenance repairs needs to be done to the facility. The management and staff are very polite very nice though. It is clean in general.
I enjoyed it....The pool is larger that I thought, and you dont have to reserve a lane, and that can be annoying... The Gym floor is clean, as are the locker rooms....Whatever your exercise preference, you should be able to find something here....And very reasonable prices.......
Pretty great gym. Lots of options in terms of machines and extra activities like basketball and racket ball. Staff is pretty friendly. Bathrooms pretty clean. Most of the machines work, but a couple are broken every once in a while. Overall though cant complain too much about this location. 👌🏽
They have so many machines that you seldom to never have to wait! They have really good instructors who offer rigorous, fun workouts for the classes. There are many TV’s to watch while running or on the elliptical. The basketball court and pool provide a great way to exercise! I have been a member since 2010 and it’s a positive experience to work out here!
I love this gym! It has great equipment all around and is pretty clean. The water in the showers is always hot, too. I do not go to the gym to be greeted like a queen when I walk in and I do not care about the TVs. People that come here do leave their junk everywhere and steal the weights from the rack-all normal stuff unfortunately for most active gym goers. However, that is a reflection of people that work out here, not a reflection of the staff or gym itself. Thats just how it is! People dont re-rack their weights and they move equipment all over the place, so what? Plenty of us manage and do just fine. Ask others for what you need if necessary. One of the best parts about this gym is the presence of several fit women here lifting weights. Very encouraging! I highly recommend this gym.
Nobody likes working out, Lets face it , We would all rather just stay home and eat a pizza. but My reality is I gotta keep this 50 year old body Trucking along. I like LA Fitness because they have many locations that I can utilize when I travel. Great equipment plenty of space, Pretty consistent with that. The staff sometimes varies from place to place on friendliness but Im not too concerned about that as Im not there to Have intellectual conversations.... I have to get home to my pizza after my workout
A variety of machines you can use, a basketball court, weights, a swimming pool , etc. It can be a bit intimidating to go by yourself but its really fun to go with friends! They offer a variety of classes and you can play racquet ball. They have a sauna and the bathrooms are all in good shape. The lockers are roomy and the showers are clean. The employees vary but most are friendly :)
I really like this facility, not all new equipment but they work. Treadmill area set up are nice with TVs hanged before your eyes. No ceiling fans which I hate. There are hot sauna room, a pool, basketball court, few racquetball courts. The water at the bottle refill station taste good! There is no nutrition bar.
Has a good selection of training equipment plus large weight area. Equipment is generally repaired within a reasonable amount of time. It seems to be fairly clean. Sometimes there is a front desk person who acts like they really dont want to be there, other people are friendly. I dont like their trainer model . They want to sign you up for several months commitment and at higher price then Ive seen other places. When I had my free evaluation with a Trainer, he said specifically that he wasnt there to show me how to use equipment - if youre not working with a trainer, you are on your own.
Everything was always dirty. Never less than 10 people in the sauna. If you’re a day late on your payment or don’t set up auto pay they will harass you beyond belief. Terrible company with worse customer service. Oh and you can only cancel your membership in person. I wouldn’t go back if someone paid me. 0 out of 5 stars.
Ive been a member for a long time at this club and Ive never been treated as poorly as I was by the Ops Manager Phillip M.He was completely rude and does not care at all about the members of this club. Good luck trying to cancel your membership at this club. They would rather get a 1 star review than take care of their members.Just know before you go here that they have poor customer service and have their priorities backwards.
When something is down at this facility like they are being out on the racquetball courts. It should be a quick fix. Not two weeks in still waiting for the AC to get fixed. Other than work ethics its a good place to work out. I will keep everybody updated on how long it takes to get the AC fixed
I agree with a previous reviewer that the staff needs some work on friendliness. Customer service is everything in this customer oriented business and front desk staff are the first people potential members usually come into contact with. So, regardless of how great a club may think they are, because membership may be up, front desk staff should always great each person who walks through that door with a smile, and a with a friendly departure as well. Other than that, I think the club is okay.
La Fitness capitalized on COVID19! Before the pandemic, I would go to the gym between 9pm and 11pm 2-3X a week because I work 2 jobs and that is the only time I had available. When they closed down due to the COVID19 pandemic, I got communication on the ap, stating that the accounts were on hold and my 2 monthly memberships would not be charged. But they lied and charged my account in spite of the message (thankfully I screenshot it). When I asked for the corporate office, every delay was conveniently blamed on the “pandemic” their remedy was not to give my money back, but instead “we will give you a free month at the end of your 12!!!!” It ain’t free if you charged me daaah! When they opened back up the hours changed and they closed at 6pm. Didn’t work for my work schedule so I tried to cancel in Jul/Aug. I was told I could not cancel over the phone. I told them I could not afford to be giving them $50 a month, for nothing, which is basically what has happen all year in 2020. I went to the facility to cancel, they told me I couldn’t cancel my daughters account that I added to my account because she was 18. Then they offered to put my account on hold because the hours would eventually go back to normal...11pm close, but they just didn’t know when it would happen. Then when I called before the hold expired, to see when I could come in to cancel, this time the manager allowed me to cancel over the phone, which led me to believe that they could have done that initially, just lied to me to avoid it. Yet my account was billed after. I disputed it with my bank. LA Fitness denied this and the credits for when October and April have been added back to my account. I don’t know if LA Fitness as a corporation is shady or they have shady people working for them, in this location, but they will never get my business again!!!
I recently canceled my membership about a month ago due to me singing up to a newer gym that recently opened up.Me regretting canceling the membership when it was more practical for me to have both memberships, I go see if I could renew my membership without any insane initiation fees. ( Me being a 2 year long member ) That wasnt the case, it was an outrageous 200$ just to start up. Which was totally not worth it, I had bills to pay and an up front fee of 200$ all for nothing wasnt smart. The staff tried to pressure me in a condescending manner, saying how You can afford to pay bills but cant pay a gym membership? Like who says that? 200$ Is 200$ even if its in payments I would be paying 200$ at the end of the day for nothing.Later that week I call back to see if I could speak to somebody else about renewing my membership. A nice young lady picked up, I told her my information etc. and to my surprise I still had a month left of my membership that I could use, seeing as that was the case. The other guy attending me clearly tried to scam me out of my money, because he asked for my information as well, and it shouldve shown that I still had a month left on my membership, and I wouldve only been charged 40$ to start up the membership for the next coming month.In conclusion, the guy tried to blatantly scam me for his personal gain on the commission he receives
The facility is good. Ive never had a complaint about it being dirty. The staff is unhelpful. They actually seem actively uninterested. The rest of the members are my least favorite part of this gym. While I enjoy a Scavenger hunt from time to time, it gets annoying. The other members often to do not rerack their weights. I swear the other members here were never taught to put their toys away. It is generally really crowded. Also, zero goat sightings.
I used to love my LA Fitness in orange city, fl. I moved here to kennesaw and decided to use this LA instead of the one on Barret because it was more spacious. I have been coming to this location for going on 2 years. In the 2 years I’ve been here I’ve noticed that most of the equipment is broken in some way, most of the staff is rude or you can tell just doesn’t want to be there, and the ‘personal training area’ has gotten out of control.The equipment will sometimes look fine, but start to use it and you can feel that something just isn’t lubed right, because it’s not a smooth motion like it should be. Literally the assisted pull up machine has been sticky since I moved here 2 years ago.The staff is completely impersonal and you can tell they don’t care. There are about 3 individuals I’ve interacted with that have been kind and seem like they have some kind of clue about customer service and professionalism.The personal training area is out of control. All of the LA locations have blocked off a section for ‘personal training clients only’. I am all for someone paying money and getting their own space to feel comfortable, BUT how are you going to overflow out of the personal training area AND take equipment away from other members DURING PEAK TIME (4-7pm). When I say take equipment from other members I mean, literally goes over to the free weight section and takes dumbbells and bars off of the benches. So now, not only is there a whole area that is ‘regular members’ can’t use (I’ve literally been told to leave when i was the ONLY other person in the area other than the client he was training), but you are also making the equipment that we are allowed to use, useless. Because how can I bench press if you took the bar!?And then the trainers don’t even keep their training session to the area that’s blocked off! They have their clients doing exercises right in the way of people trying to walk to the stair masters.I recently joined the YMCA in Acworth and from the minute I walked in I had some give a genuine hello. When I went to cancel the membership no one even asked how my experience had been or if there was anything they could do to make me want to stay. I have worked in customer service for 8+ years. When someone wants to cancel something you don’t just say ‘ok’ you try to keep them. But whatever they must not be hurtin for memberships right now.I also hope whoever is running this nonsense, knows that an unsatisfied customer will talk to wayyyyy more people than you think. Def will not be recommending to anyone for them to come here.the only reason you got two stars is because of the spacious layout and they have some machines that are pretty cool to switch up the workout.
Ive gone to multiple gym chains and generally you see a worker going around cleaning and wiping equipment. But I have literally never seen anyone clean in this gym. Also, womens restroom always smells like raw sewage...somethings definitely wrong there. But, never had a problem with the desk people, theyve been nice.
Absolutely horrid management and customer service. I was a long time member of LA Fitness then I moved. I had to jump through hoops to get transferred to this LA Fitness in Kennesaw. Once finally transferred I was consistently going for a few months then all of a sudden I started getting $5 charges when I would check in. They then come to me and say they never transferred me and it would up my rates to $120/month if I wanted to upgrade to keep using the same gym Ive been going to for months. To which point the general manager said it was that or cancel my membership. Save yourself the headache and the effort and go to another gym.
Place is clean enough, but slow to update or repair equipment. Will never take my children here again. I think the new girl Amber that watches the children hates children and is mad that she is stuck in a position she feels beneath her. She seems annoyed by children and doesnt want to be bothered by them. New management is very rude and unprofessional. We are leaving after many years with LA Fitness bc of them. We are medical professionals and though the trainers are awesome we cannot condone leaving your children withAmber or under Phillips management.. Good luck I always liked the Towne Lake and other locations.
It has workout equipment and a pool, if you want anything more than that then this isnt your place. The equipment is a little dated and the treadmills will erratically just stop then take off again in the middle of your run causing you to lose your balance. When you tell the front desk they will not even look up from their iphone to acknowledge you or if they do they all but roll their eyes.The management looks to be constantly rotating in and out leaving the team that works there a mess. One piece of equipment cut my friends finger and the manager wouldnt even speak to us about it and blew us off.The only thing they do 100% well is bill collect and charge cards.
My personal trainer, Kas, is an amazing guy! Super friendly, encouraging, and helpful. Really makes me his focus when we are in a session and will kick people out who are using the floor that haven’t signed up for training if they’re in the way. I always have a kick @$$ workout with him. Very understanding too. Had to miss almost two months of sessions when my Dad had to have heart surgery up north, and he was super understanding when I came back.The other staff are hit or miss. Some are super energetic and helpful, while others appear to have been zombified. Knowing LAs corporate policies and pressures makes it understandable though.
You will think I’m making this up, but I’m not: I was verbally accosted by James, the general manager of the Wade Green location, who cursed at me using the “F***” word at least 20 times! What was my crime? I got into the jacuzzi when (according to a tiny sign on the wall) it was closed. (I did this because the water was hot and other people were in it). When he insulted me by asking if I could read, I committed my second crime by telling him that he should be more polite to his customers. He got mad and replied that he could speak to me “however the f*** he wanted to.” I was shocked, and said, “you can’t use the F word when speaking to customers!” He then used the F word multiple times in telling me I was wrong. We went around like this a few more times, him using the F word and eventually calling me names, and me simply repeating that he shouldn’t talk to customers that way. I was then kicked out of the club! My wife can attest to the last half of the conversation. On our way out of the parking lot, he took a picture of our car’s license plate! Considering the hostility with which he spoke to me and then my wife, we literally fear for our safety! PLEASE, do NOT reward LA Fitness (at least this location) with your business.
I have been a la fitness memeber for two years I was working in Kennesaw and I decided to come to this location and when I say the customer service was extremely horrible I wish I could give this la fitness no stars at all. There was a young lady sitting at the front desk and she had the nastiest attitude ever!!! She was rude and whenever anyone asked her questions she would either roll her eyes and completely ignore people. Two young women came in and wanted to use the restroom and she looked at them and said yeah if you buy a membership if not no and before she even answered she just stared at them and I couldn’t believe it! How rude a disrespectful never will I ever come back to this location ✌🏽
I have go to LA Fitness on Wade Green only because of its the most convenient location to work, and the other guys that I work out with. Its frustrating working out there sometimes. There are a lot of times its hard to find free weights because members leave them all over the gym. The most frustrating part is the mens locker room. You can smell the stench of rank body odor and air freshener ten feet before you enter the locker room. The smell is enough to make someone nauseated. The lockers havent been cleaned out since I joined 8 months ago. Members have spilled work out drinks, left used bandaides, clothes, hangers etc. There is mold and mildew growing on the floors, walls, and ceilings in the showers. The location on Barrett Pkwy is much cleaner, and I wish it was more convenient for us to go to.
The people there are phenomenal. Youll see big guys everywhere but dont be intimidated. Theyre all nice people and seeing them work hard pushes you even more. By far the best gym ive ever gone to. Disciplined people all around. I would go there for the rest of my life if I could.
They have a new training area for members who buy their training sessions. Troy, one of the trainers is a bully to the other members and kicks them out of the area, even though the area is plenty big for others to be in. None of the other trainers bother you or ask you to move. With all do respect I wouldnt want to be trained by an individual who is at least 100 lbs over weight anyways. A lot of their equipment doesnt work and they attempt to fix it themselves rather than get it serviced. When I complained to corporate they refused to give me names, said someone would call me, but again didnt give me a last name and told me they didnt care if I no longer was a member. Just not the kind of company I want to be a part of. Kindness and being genuine is something I seek in places I give my money to.
Facilities seem clean, people are following social distancing (for the most part)...not too many wearing facemask though :-( noticed staff cleaning and disinfecting in lockers every hour or so. Dumb people still breaking the zip ties of the lockers separated not be used.
This LA Fitness location ranks poor in my book. Ive been in sales and customer service for quite a long time, and by experience, there can always be a solution for both sides on developing a business agreement. After being a member for nearly 4 years, and now referring two friends, they didnt really want our business. They didnt even want to take time to express what are the benefits of becoming a member. Poorly run location if you ask me. So, after a few minutes of speaking with them and supposedly talking to a manager, there was nothing they could do. So 10 minutes later, we went to LA Fitness -Woodstock on Eagle Drive, much friendlier service. After reviewing and actually taking the time to find out what are needs were, they signed up two happy members that can go to any club!
Just disappointed, had to cancel my membership here after 5 years due to our differing views on what an acceptable deadlift is. I never drop my weight, always a tap and go no matter how heavy. I understand the managements concern about the foundation, but if you are looking to do heavy deads, this isnt the place for you.
Terrible customer service, high prices, small pool, no personal TVs for cardio equipment. Only interested in making a sale and no interest in the customer. My wife and I were interested in joining a gym and a friend was a member at LA fitness. LA fitness told her if she she could give a 3 week pass to someone by giving them their phone number. After asking our permission she did just that. LA fitness called us, set up a meeting with the wife to see the gym. The person she was suppose ot meet with was not there and the person she did meet with was very rude. They were very high pressure for her to join the gym even after her telling them she needed to talk to me first and never gave us the pass to try out the gym. We set up another appointment to meet with the right person so I could be there. The right person still was not there, they still only tried to sell us a membership and still would not give us the pass promised to try out the gym. A few weeks later we got an email, thinking finally they decided to give us the pass, (not that we would have used it a that point) but no, it was an advertisement of their membership prices.Another friend of mine was pressured into signing up for a personal trainer with the promise that it was a 2 week free trial, if she did not like it she could back out. She trusted them and did not read the contract carefully and now she is contractually in a personal trainer program for the grand total on $1200 on top of the membership fee. She has called, talked to people in person, pleaded and begged to be let out of the contract and that she did not realize what she was signing up for at the time. The best offer they have provided is she can back out for half the cost. $600 for something she never wanted in the first place.I hate this place and hope they go out of business soon! I cant stand dishonest people who try to take advantage of unsuspecting people.
Unreal the lack of customer service...never anyone to greet u when u sign in...actually u could just walk right in....a bunch of kids running the place just hanging out like they were on a school yard playing with their phones.machines are old and they still have tv screens that you r spose to tune it radio,which of course doesnt exist anymore, to hear the tv. I once watched from top rail while on treadmill a potential new customer stand at front desk for 30 minutes while the kids(sales people) hung out at the smoothie bar playing. I would cancel my membership but the costs pretty cheap and the gym has everything I need...I try to go at 10 am or 2pm when its not crowded
Went in spoke with Asst. GM, set a time 8am. next day. 8:40 the Guy is still a no show. So I guess my time is not valuable. Or perhaps it was the fact he stated, He would make no money setting me up that I was no longer deemed important. NEWS FLASH!! If I pay $29.99 a month you are still making money from me. I have come to realize we have dropped the bar as business leaders when it comes to customer service and treatment. PLEASE lets not skip the fact you are 40 minutes late to work and they only management staff there. I could not give less than one.
The hot tub has been broken for over a week now. When exiting today I saw Jason (some kind of manager) sitting at the front desk shuffling papers. I started to ask him about the hot tub and he snapped back I AM ON THE PHONE. How was I to know when no one was talking on the speaker phone but his rude treatment was totally uncalled for. When I asked an assistant about the hot tub, all they knew was a part was on order.
Decided to go to this location today instead of the one on barrer today with a friend.In the middle my work out, I get interrupted by a female employee asking me to see my gym pass. I proceed to STOP my workout and show her my pass on my phone that has a picture attached. After showing it to her she asks “is that picture you? “ I proceed to say yes and thought that would be it. She then asks me to show her ID (I had to get off my machine and go into my car to get it). After going back inside she scans my pass and was saying that it didn’t show I had scanned my pass. The GAG is that after scanning it showed that this was their second time scanning my card. No apology either.All the machines were full of people and I had scanned like everyone else..so I’m not sure how she could’ve possibly known who to look for in terms of who did not scan. I was singled out and literally for no reason. This ruined my mood and honestly my first negative experience here. I pay my money and the initial pass should have been enough smh .
This by far is one of the most poorly managed LAF. There is always something not working or broken literally every week or so. Repairs take weeks and sometimes months and there is no sense of urgency when issues are reported. Staff seems to always be busy with something or at least on their phones when you arrive. Customer Service?
There is a personal trainer at this gym (tall probably Russian looking dude) thats absolutely unbelievably rude to THE PEOPLE THAT PAY HIM and thats the customers. He better learn how to treat people or he wont have any clients ( I bet he doesnt have many) to train and no money to support himself. Just bc your tall and half swole doesnt mean you know what youre doing (which he doesnt) hes needs more than a weekend certification to be a real PT that actually can help someone. Treat people with respect or get the hell outta here bud. Have a great day and read a book...you need it. Dont let a gym member who doesnt work there know more about personal training than the workers...its bad business #stayawayfromhere

He teamed up wit some skinny white kid and some tall ahh black dude......! DEM BOYS WAS TRASH MY MANS ATE ON WHITE BOI I CROSSED DA Dude WHO DRIP ON AND OFF DA COURT.! TALL DUDE WANTED TO PLAY FOUL BALL SO I SCORED 15 ONNA BOY AND IM 57 To a 21 Point Game. da Drip Dude Said He Was Tired i told him sip dat drip and than he went to da water fountain and took 17 seconds to gush metal pipe water down his throat The Same Exact Seconds He Took Is Da Same Points I Scored (17).
The personal training manager (Troy) is very juvenile and on a power trip. I was approached by him accusing me of training a friend of mines who is also a personal trainer. I was offended when my integrity was challenged. This guy needs to first get in shape himself and secondly approach the people who are training clients!!.
Do not live any card information at this location. I cancel my membership before the due date but they still charge my card. The male manager, he told me he will cancel my account and I found out he didnt. They still charge my card twice!!! They told me to go in person to cancel , I did go and nothing no one cancel my account !!! Do not go to this location!
Very shady customer service. They asked me to resign because I joined at the la fitness off barrett so they could essentially steal my membership from the other store. I have a multi gym membership but I doubt ill be going back to the wade green la fitness much anymore.
Customer service is horrible, all they care about is building membership not service. Once you singup there is no service. If I could I would give no star. Specially do not signup for their training session as they lock you in contarct and they have no concern for any well being of the member.

2021-10-10This is the place where I made all my friends when I moved back, can get quite crowded in the afternoons, but thats part of most gyms. Just wish they had a more expansive free weight section along with some Olympic weights. Other than that its a good gym.

2022-04-13Ive only been going a few days, but so far so good. This location is clean and they have a station where you can use sanitation supplies to wipe down your machines before&after use. Customer service has been great. They have cycling, zumba,& other classes to choose from, as well as plenty of weights. A basketball court(my husbands favorite), suana & pool. I recommend this location.

2022-05-30I try enjoy this location! The gym and locker rooms always appear clean and tidy. Thre is ample workout equipment that is maintained well. Plenty of space for group or private exercise. Staff is helpful and the instructors are fun and knowledgeable.

This person had to leave to El Paso Texas this week for work purposes. I called last week to ask how could I cancel his membership and the lady just told me go online on the website. I couldn’t find anything in there for cancellations. Finally I stopped by today to the wade green location and cancel in person his membership and I asked if since it was last week that we signed him up he could get a refund because we didn’t expect him to leave and also because in El Paso Texas there is no LA FITNESS AVAILABLE. They said no because the 8 days were over. But I called before that time. I couldn’t come in person until today and they did not help me when I called.I have been more than 3-4 years with LA Fitness and this is very unfair. You should train better your staff to walk your customers through any situation.I hope you can get back to me with an answer.

2022-08-22Updating after 2 years: Overcrowded. Since covid lockdowns ended, this place has been more and more packed. I dont even try to go on Mondays anymore. Dumbbell rack is usually half empty because inconsiderate members haul them off to all corners of the gym so they can superset on machines and not have to wait. Still leaving 3 stars as the gym itself is fairly clean and well maintained.Clean well maintained gym -- just heavily overcrowded 80% of the time. I always have to wait or modify my plan to work around occupied machines, except during an approximately two hour long window in the mornings when the crowd is low. Other reviewers mention equipment waiting on repairs, but this is an EXTREMELY busy location. The machines are in constant use, taking way more wear than average. Honestly the repair guy is doing a really good job under the circumstances. I travel heavily and have been to LAF everywhere on the east coast. I would rank this location 8/10 in terms of equipment variety and cleanliness.

2021-01-09I ve been to many gyms in the past but LA Fitness is by far the best gym. There is so much ai can say about this place. I will highlight the cleanliness of this place during the covid pandemic. There is always someone spraying down the machines with sanitizer. This place is huge with all of the equipment you can imagine. I highly recommend this place to everyone that wants to work out.
