La Hacienda has superseded my expectations. It is a LGBT+ friendly restaurant and many of the staff sport a rainbow edition of their company shirt. The food is on point and I love all of the Frida Kahlo artwork among the walls. I have dined here twice and would go again when in the mood for Mexican cuisine!
I love going to Mexican restaurants, but this place has some really slow service and the drinks/ margaritas were not that great. (Which is what we went actually there for so)... Ill have to give them 1 more try some other time to see if anything changes. But for now, its just okay for what youre paying.
Service was pretty good inside everyone was spaced out pretty good. Waiter gave us our food and seats in a good short time frame and was nice and patient with us when we couldnt pronounce the names right. Food was good nothing really bad about it except steak was a little too red for me but I still ate good. (I had taco jalisco something like that) I also made a to-go order and everything was done right for that order and food was also good.
I love Mexican food and this place definitely was a disappointment! Took us 10 mins to get acknowledged and to get beverages. They were out of every beverage I tried to order (sweet tea, coke, and sprite), and ultimately I settled for a Mr. Pib, my least favorite drink. Food came out quickly, but was not seasoned at all. Black beans were bland and the steak was fatty with no flavor-thank God for the pepper and onions which helped but still didntdo the steak any justice. This was my first and LAST time coming to this establishment. La Parilla is still #1 in my books!
Delicious! I love Mexican food and I’ve probably gone to nearly every Mexican joint in the ITP of Atlanta and La Hacienda holds up! My al pastor tacos were great. The pork was tender and flavorful. The onions and cilantro tasted fresh. The corn tortillas (in my opinion the most important component of a good taco) were just the right flavor and texture. These tacos were as good as the hole in the wall places you get on Buford. Service was excellent and it was a great option before seeing a movie across the street at Landmark.
Love Mexican food this time was looking for a new place so I decided go to La Hacienda nice decoration, hacienda style, nice environment; took a little time to be seated, main floor was completely full I went upstairs, looks different but nice. I ordered Molcajete camarón , is a big portion , very heavy to eat, the shrimp came roll in bacon on top of potatoes , cheese and a ton of oil, I couldnt finished to grease, the presentation is very artistic, traditional Mexican cuisine, came , with salad, beans and flavor tortillas, the chips and salsa excellent, for dessert I had flan it was ok, I think the Molcajete camarón is overpriced
Restaurant is overpriced to begin with, and then charges credit card fees, service charges and auto gratuities on every check. This is is blatant greed and theft by the restaurant. I asked for money to be returned it has not yet been returned. Spend your money in establishments that actually appreciate your business not ones that look to rip you off. Very disappointed. As part of the midtown family you should be ashamed. DO BETTER! Gabe was not a great manager on duty fyi.
Stopped in at the 10:25 pm on Saturday night to pick up an order of chips/salsa for take out. Left empty handed however because the ‘kitchen was closed’.Who has ever heard of a mexican restaurant ( or any place ) where a kitchen/ chef is required to fill an older for chips/salsa.
I floated several Mexican restaurants for a bachelorette dinner of 15 people. We wanted to reserve an outside table due to covid. This was the only restaurant that would allow us to reserve an outside table, and it was even on a SUPER cute rooftop patio. The atmosphere was really cool. Every time I called, the employee on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. Great food and service during the dinner, and the pitchers of margaritas were incredible. Couldn’t recommend more!!
I consider myself a connoisseur of the Michelada and this place has THE BEST! The food is awesome too - we eat here at least once a month. My wife and I always split the Queso Fundido Texano - a huge cast iron skillet of chorizo, shrimp, steak, chicken, and veggies, cooked in beer and smothered with cheese. Prepared tableside and served with tortillas and garnishes. Always great service.
Excellent Jalisco Tacos & Chili Colorado! Good fajita burrito. The guacamole appetizer was a large portion, but I would rather have a smaller portion for less money- way too much for 2 people. The guacamole side didn’t have the same made from scratch quality flavor, so we skip it. The chorizo queso is good. The bacon wrapped burrito is a novelty, but skippable. The charro beans are exceedingly average and look like they have hot dog meat in them.
Was in ATL for the weekend and came across this place. I can say it is one of the best restaurants I’ve EVER eaten at. It was so delicious and the margaritas were amazing. Our waitress was kind and very attentive as well. I got the 3 chicken tacos and they were amazing!! So juicy and flavorful. Will definitely be back if I ever find myself back in ATL.
I gave it 4 stars because I think this is a really chill spot and the location is very good. My husband and I went there last night and got a table outside and we both enjoyed it. Now the food is good but I ordered a burrito with steak in it but I said I wanted chicken and when I saw it was steak I was like ok I will keep it but the steak was so tuff I literally couldnt chew it I had to send it back but hey at least it was flavorful and this right here is the reason for not getting the extra star because I know about eating a good burrito. Oh they made me a fresh new plate with a chicken burrito with no problem I was pleased with that but they only gave me 5 pieces of chicken😂 and a ton of mushrooms so 4 stars for me
Huge menu with many options. I decided to go with something standard for my first visit, so I got steak fajitas. My wife got enchiladas and a tamale. Out of all that food, the best thing we got was the complimentary chips and salsa... Everything else was just not good, especially for the price. The service matched the food quality... just bad. Had to flag down the server any time that we needed anything including drink refills and the check. If you cant find the servers, check one of the tables or the bar where they may be eating and enjoying their evening. We will not be returning and will not recommend this place to anyone. The only reason for 2 stars is for the location and decor.
I ordered through uberEats. Once I saw what the place looked like online, I just knew my food was going to be all jacked up but to my surprise, food was made fresh to order and they followed my instructions perfectly. Ordered the grilled chicken tacos with no onions and that’s exactly what I got. Delicious! Without knowing it, I ordered close to closing time so I just knew there was no chance of my food turning out right. Boy, was I wrong 🤷🏽♀️ I will definitely order from them again😊
I stopped by for the first time on Sunday afternoon for a good Margarita. What I got was a great Margarita and experience. It wasnt super busy being in between meal times but the servers all had smiles on their faces and seemed to be attentive from my point of view. I sat at the bar and was treated to some of the smoothest Skinny Margaritas EVER. Max was excellent at making them, so nice and provided wonderful service. He made me feel welcomed as a new customer. He listened to me talk which I probably did a lot. lol Which is what you want in a bartender good drinks and a good ear! I look forward to going back and taking others with me. On my way out I spoke to a very friendly woman that I believe was the owner. I didnt have any food since I had plans later but look forward to trying it out. I usually dont write reviews but this was such a nice surprise. I have been searching for a new Mexican Restaurant to go to as my favorite recently closed. I may have found it.
I wish I could say it was great, but every time we go, the wait to get our order taken or our meal is well over 30 to 60 minutes. Also, some dishes we ordered we spicy even though it was not listed as spicy on the menu, so make sure you ask if your dish is spicy before ordering. Good ambiance and drinks.
Had a fun walk around piedmont park and decided to walk to food. Patio was dog friendly, and the server was nice enough to bring a bowl of ice water for our husky friend :) We were served chips and salsa while we looked through the menu.We had Asada Fries, and, holy sh-, it was amazing. Absolutely delicious.I also had a texas margarita and tacos with carnitas. Delicious, but the asada fries were the absolute best thing. I needed that meal without realizing it. Definitely coming back :)
Wow! My husband and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND La Hacienda. Great, timely service. Lots of fresh chips with a delicious red sauce pairing (for free), and we had the tofu and mushroom tacos — the most delicious veggie options we’ve tasted anywhere. I’m not a fan of tofu & I found the tofu taco so satisfying because it was well spiced and grilled.
I just left from this establishment 2.22.21 around 8:10PM.First, let me start by saying its a VERY small location. From the entrance you can see the entire restaurant seating area and bar area. I walked in from the street entrance which puts you RIGHT at the host stand/area where servers get checks/silverware/menus, etc (so its a VERY high traffic area) and was not greeted. I stood at the host stand/area for between 5-7 minutes. At least 5 workers approached the area but never spoke or made eye contact with me. 1 server stood directly at the host stand grabbing silverware and never spoke.Another guy comes up from the back, and begins walking towards the host stand - the host immediately engages him and the guy asks for a table for 3 and is immediately sat/waited on.This whole time, Im still standing there the entire time and the server steps in front of me, reaches past me to grab silverware and menus for this guy. Doesnt say excuse me, no eye contact, like I wasnt even there. During this whole time there is another server standing behind the host stand area also not engaging me.Horrible. Needless to say, I walked right out on to another establishment that understands customer service particularly during these times. And then I noticed the Department of Health scare, I mean score (as I was walking out) of 85. Yikes.
WOULDNT EVEN RECEIVE A 1 STAR!I DONT EVEN WRITE REVIEWS BUT I HAD TO GET ON HERE AND SHARE MY EXPERIENCE! The waiter that was assigned to my table left. The new waiter didnt even receive my order that I told to the first waiter. WAITED OVER 40 MINUTES TO RECEIVE THE WRONG ORDER. The restaurant wasnt even crowded so I couldnt blame my waiting time on the people. I was one of the first few people to come in and the last to leave. The new waiter gave mea free charge on the WRONG DISH but a DISCOUNT on the RIGHT DISH. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!
One of the better Mexican restaurants Ive been to. Great food, great service. It lost one star because the seating is all open and kind of cramped when it is busy, and because my boyfriend didnt like the chicken and beef fillings for the enchiladas he ordered. He said they were really under-seasoned. Weve been back twice since then though. The cheese enchiladas were yummy and Ive been getting their burrito bowls. The veggie, shrimp, and carnitas burrito bowls were each fantastic.
This is the spot to go in Midtown for awesome Mexican food. The menu is spectacular and the food sooooo good. Many people love their margaritas. I’m not the biggest fan of them but the food is SO GOOD, and the staff is so awesome that I don’t even care if the margs are not my favorite. I’m so glad I found this place, and if you’re thinking about one of the other Midtown Mexican restaurants, such as Escorpion...don’t. Go here instead, you will like the food much better.
Service did not explain menu clearly and I was charged $70 for a meal for 4. Everyone knows that meal with drinks is $40 tops for 2 adults and 2 small kids. When I asked management about it she had no concern to rectify the miscommunication and basically told me your loss! Never coming back ever! No bueno!!!
Best Mexican in Midtown! Great food and staff. The homemade salsa is fresh and flavorful. They also have a roasted chipotle salsa that’s pretty good too. The rooftop patio is a nice escape in the city. They valet on weekend, which is nice— the parking lot is small so they need to park neatly to accommodate.
This is the old fashion Mexican in style and food. Thick leather menu covers, comfortable steering, original art in decor and it feels like your at a relatives home eating real home cooked Mexican food. The drinks are great, the food is even greater! Your not rushed, you are allowed to converse and dine which is how it once was everywhere.
A little pricier than I usually spend but the portion sizes of my shrimp ceviche and salad with chicken were surprising generous. The ceviche was delicious. We were a group of six and no one complained about their meal. I was disappointed that the salad dressing was in a packet and not made by staff. And service was on the slow side
Recently had our second experience here and the food and drinks are always flavorful, delicious, and served in large portions. (Even my boyfriends large appetite is left with take overs.) Choices are displayed on beautiful leather-bound menus. The service is friendly and fast and the restaurant is very well staffed. The decor is nicely done. There is a good amount of seating, though its an intimate sized space. There is ample enough free parking behind the restaurant and its in a great next to Piedmont Park and the end of east side trail on the Beltline. Hope to return and try more of the menu.
We were visiting from out of town and got a craving for Mexican food. We ended up here. The service was fine. The food was very good. The only thing we didnt like was valet- only parking. There was parking available nearby on the street I guess, but it was threatening rain so we wanted to be close. Im not from a big city so maybe this isnt even that weird.
June 16th. I decided to celebrate my birthday. I feel such regret. I have been sick for 2 weeks since I ate there. When my fiance and I arrived, there was another couple there. We sat inside and the manager was coughing uncontrollably, so we moved to the patio. Apparently the manager was offended and sabotaged my food. My appetizer was the pina tropical. My entree was burned. I only ate the appetizer and Ive been sick for 2 weeks now. I went back to see the manager. She denied it of course. I was told that they would send me to a doctor and they would take care of my visit with their insurance company. I only got the run around. Why do that to someone thats done nothing to you? Im hoping I survive this.
This place has great food! The best hard shell tacos of all time in midtown and possibly in Atlanta in general. The customer service is pretty good (only in the evening for dinner time) and the prices are cheap. Specific days have deals. For example, Tuesday’s has tacos for $1.50 each. We typically sit outside which is right on the street of Monroe and the noise level can be high at times but it definitely gives that city feel. There is also mandatory valet parking for the lot which is tip only.
Delightful and very outstanding place! We went with my friends to dine in for the first time and we had such a good time! Food was amazing we did the fresh guacamole handmade as an appetizer afterward we choose the fajitas Texans for 2 with my boyfriend and my friends the Bowl and Tacos Jaliscos they were a hit incredibly good! The Organic Margarita was an excellent choice, fresh and really good too, our server Mario was very accurate, cheerful, fast, smiling, funny and attentive! We will definitely are coming back...
First time visiting and the food is so bomb ! My mom and I got a pitcher of the Hacienda Margarita and it’s a great strong drink and I got the pineapple entree with shrimp and fish I can’t remember the orginal name, but it was delicious. Service is great 👍🏽 food came out fast and my server Junior was amazing ! Definitely ask for him and come visit this place !
I went to La Hacienda with my parents when their Airbnb canceled at the last minute. So airbnb offered to pay for their dinner while they waited for a new one. Im so happy because the staff, food, and drinks were the saving grace for their night. They absolutely loved their experience there, even under a stressful time. It was one of the highlights of their visit to ATL, and that’s why I will always be loyal to this business.
Glassware was dirty and still had lip prints all over the rim of the glass. There were odd chunks in the salsa. We waited to have our order taken and no one ever did. As well as almost everything on the menue said no substitutions... so if you have a food allergy as I do you are left with little to no choices when they finally come to take your order. We paid for the coke and left.
I was underwhelmed by the change in the last one year! We used to come here and yes, it was pricey, but they served large portions of amazing food. This week we went there to celebrate my birthday and the food portions were tiny and the quality underwhelming. A quesadilla like that we can put together at home in 5 mins for $3...
I went a litter after lunch at 2:00 pm. It was not crowded at all, so we were immediately seated. I was with a co-worker who ordered the pork tips and I ordered the shrimp tacos. They both were initially great, but I must say I was starving because all I had that day was a pear. The tacos were delicious, however 2 hours later my stomach was killing me. And the only cause I could attribute such pain to the tacos, since thats the only thing I had. Im afraid I wont try it again after the pain I experienced :-(
Sadly, misleading and poor service. I read the reviews and hoped for the service and greatness that has been proclaimed. It took 10 minutes before we were approached for drinks, never asked if we wanted water and we watched our server walk by for another 20 minutes until we flagged her for just drinks. Followed by a false advertisement for $5.99 Margaritas as the server said they were $7.99. After showing her the website, she agreed to the price but charged $10.99 for a Skinny Margarita, saying because the limes were expensive and organic the fee increased. No shame here, we wont be back and never had a chance to even try the food. #dontbefooled.
My boy friend and I come here often. This may be the first time weve been here on a busy night. We sat at the bar like usual and the service is usually awesome as well as the food. But on this particular Saturday, we sat down and it took about 10 min to get the bartender to ask us for our drinks and never gave us menus. Then 30 min later, since we had ran out of our first round of chips, I finally asked for a menu, which I never received. So all in all. Dont come here if its busy.
This is my go to midtown Mexican restaurant. It’s tucked a little out of the way but right by the belt line and Trader Joe’s. The food is always good and I get something different every time and have yet to have anything I didn’t like. The service can be a little hit and miss but always is friendly.
We have been to Hacienda twice and both times (our second visit was tonight) we were thrilled with the quality of the food and service. First time, we had the chicken nachos--delicious!... tonight the steak and chicken fajitas- marvelous! My husband and I split a single fajita plate and it was more than enough food for two hungry adults. As a San Antonio gal, it takes a lot for me rant about Mexican food ...but we are sold on Hacienda. I wont eat Mexican food anywhere else in Atlanta now!
Food was excellent, as were the drinks. Servers were more interested in hanging out with each other than serving, and our drinks and chips sat empty for way too long. Despite the distracted service, I would have given 4 stars except for the forced valet parking; we parked in an empty spot in an empty lot and were approached by valet as we were getting out of the car and told he had to park our car. What b.s. Forced valet parking...ugh.
The food was average American Mexican food. The place is pet friendly and there are no standards for the animals. A couple with a dog that was shedding excessively sat next to us. Hair was flying in our food and sticking to our glasses. It was DISGUSTING and more like a doggy daycare. The pets arent service pets.
Awful!!!! Ordered a Margarita and food. After 20 to 25 min wait, which I did not mind because I was looking forward to my freshly made food, my 1/2 cooked frozen enchiladas came out. I asked to speak with the manager and she lied. She said the food was not frozen. It was the vegetables on top of the enchiladas that had made the food cold. Awful. Will never go there again.
I usually like this place a lot but my experience last night changed my mind. When my friend and I arrived the place was like an oven. We sat down and saw that the menu has changed and prices increased. The salsa was like cold ketchup and the chips were all crumbled. Dont order the chicken taco salad, it is only lettuce and chicken. I was very upset with the service and will NOT return.
I love this place. The food is great, service is more than adequate, pricing is acceptable with available scoutmob and drink specials, however my last attempted visit really soured my opinion and I doubt Ill be back for a while. So I pull in to the lot and all spaces are coned off...at 6:30pm. Guy eventually runs up and tells us Valet Only. That would be fine if I hadnt already all but pulled into a spot. Your Valet Only experience is certainly going to cost you business. It certainly did with my party tonight. The Highlander was delicious though...mmmm
Saturday I had planned out to take my girlfriend out on a date so I did some research on a Mexican restaurant named ‘La Hacienda’ situated in a small hidden area in Atlanta. Very well taken care of restaurant and the food leaves you to wanting more the next time you visit. There are neighborhoods around and in front of that restaurant which is great for people that live in that area. They also have valet parking but it’s a small area that could get crowded but luckily we got parking on a Saturday night. I asked the valet if I could park my car on my own and he said yes but it would be five dollars I didn’t mind at all he was very friendly and respectful. As my girlfriend and I walked up to the entrance the waiters opened up for us like if we were important people. As you enter the place you are welcomed by every employee around you they give you a choice to sit inside or upstairs. Let me tell you it is such a great atmosphere to be around, they have a patio outside that is so well designed like no other its up top in the roof. Since it was a bit chilly Saturday night we chose to be seated inside. We were seated very quickly in less than a minute. Our waiter was really nice and gave us enough time to think about what to eat.As he came back with our drinks we asked what he would recommend us for appetizers. Jalapeño Cheese Dip, and Guacamole was what we took because he began to tell us many but those two caught our attention. The cheesy dip was so good I finished it in less than ten minutes. My girlfriend had to add a bit of salt on her guacamole, she said it needed a bit a flavor. Speaking about food the menu offers a wide selection of delicious Mexican food. From Tamales to Steak fajitas you can not go wrong with steak fajitas. I ordered steak and chicken fajitas with a side of rice and beans. My girlfriend got two tamales of chicken and a dipping sauce that had meat and cheese. Boy oh boy was our food amazing, our mouths dropped from how steamy our waiter brought the food. All the dishes were made fresh and clean it had the warmth of Mexico. Made me feel like I was actually in Mexico. The Chef take in action and actually take the time to cook your food as how you want it. Prices are not even high they are middle range prices and affordable. My check came out to being over forty dollars plus tip since our waiter was so respectful and very outgoing I gave him a good tip. Before we left he offered us drinks to go but we were so full we did not have any room for any liquid. To finish off, La Hacienda is by far the best Mexican restaurants you could go to in Atlanta. There service is outstanding and really helpful, they are really clean and have no flies inside nor outside the patio. Food is just too good to be true. They have a rating of a hundred percent in food inceptions. So how could you not trust this place to eat? To tell you I already have plans to come again next week to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Other than the parking lot, everything else was awesome. I would totally recommend you to come eat here and no other place in Atlanta when it comes to Mexican food.
La Hacienda is a pretty decent Mexican restaurant. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and efficient. I ordered a Texas margarita, it has grand marnier, and those bad boys are tasty and strong. I ordered the queso fundido appetizer to share with friends since there were ten of us. The appetizer is a meal by it self. It comes with three flour tortillas, I had two of them and was full so I did not order a main dish. But from what I saw and the reaction from my friends, the rest of the main dishes was very good.
Typically grab food to go, but have eaten I house. Service can be hit or miss, but this time stopped to grab a beer and queso while I waited for traffic to die down. Sat at bar and service was excellent. Ordered three things to go for dinner when leaving. Discovered out one item was wrong when I got home (thus the one star knock) , but still it was still prepared well and tasty. The Mexican molcajete is hands down their best entree. They always give plenty of chips and salsa on to go orders. Their house salsa is mediocre, but they do have a Chipotle salsa served in house that is great.
Love this quaint, neighborhood place. The food is consistently good and the servers are absolutely wonderful. The only thing I do not like is last night the place was overrun with dogs! Uggg!!! Personally I go out to eat to enjoy my evening and I not wish to eat around dogs!
We valet parked, and as we were walking in there was a sign that said: Please seat yourself. After walking inside, we saw no one waiting in line so we walked upstairs to the patio, and saw two empty tables. We sat down at one of the empty tables, and waited for about 20 minutes while all of the waiters ignored us.We finally flagged down a waiter, and he asked if we were seated by a host. We said no, because there was a sign that said to seat yourself. Instead of offering a suggestion on what we should do next, all he said was, Oh, there is actually a wait. We told him about the sign, and he would never acknowledge it, and just kept saying There is a wait, sorry. We ended up leaving because by that time wed wasted about 30 minutes doing nothing, only to get put on a waitlist when there appeared to be multiple open tables. We decided to leave, and we went to La Fonda. We were seated within 1 minute, and served Chips, Salsa, and drinks within 4 minutes.I dont mind waiting in line, but I was very disappointed that I was treated like an idiot when there clearly was a sign outside that communicated contradictory information. I probably wont come back here.
The service here is spectacular. The food comes fast and is good. Big plates. Fresh guacamole made tableside; my kids ask for it minus jalapeno and tomato. I will vouch for the carnitas and the lingua tacos. My girls like the monster glasses of strange smelling horchata. Decor is fun, with big paintings and wrought iron. Parking lot in back has had room for us each time so far.
So excited about my experience that I couldnt wait until I got home. Im Im the restaurant at the bar writing this review. Luis is our bartender and hes awesome. He made some great recommendations from the drinks to the food.We decided on a pitcher of the frozen house margarita. Its really good and has me feeling some typa way lol. We ordered the table side guacamole. Ooooomg so good. Very enjoyable. Luis made it and it was flavorful and chunky and delicious. Since his guac was so good, we decided to take his advice on food. I ordered the pollo hacienda and my best friend ordered the burrito hacienda. We were both very pleased with our food choices. Flavorful, tender meat. The rice is to die for and the beans just tied everything together. Mmm mm Good. Did I mention how good the chips and salsa are? Yea this place is new and Ill definitely be back! Check it out!
Typical americanized Tex-Mex. Most of the entrees are flavorless, except unequivocally the bacon wrapped burrito. Free chips and salsa is a plus, but don’t waste your time getting the table made guacamole. Very crowded on a Friday/Saturday night, definitely a younger crowd. More people were buying watered down margaritas than the overpriced food.
2nd time eating there....1st time shortly after it opened was good, wish I could say the same about 2nd and maybe last time. I ordered a beef burrito and Im pretty sure I ate couple of bites of ALPO dog food in the burrito, it was disgusting!!! The boyfriend ordered a steak fajita quesedilla and it was loaded with veggies and mushrooms....somewhere in that expensive sfq was some steak....I think. We shouldve gone to FROGS right down the street:-/DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT WORK AT FROGS OR KNOW ANYONE THAT DOES
I guess you should go here if you enjoy CROSS CONTAMINATION. I ordered a SHRIMP quesadilla.......... ate most of it..... in the last bite, found a long, skinny piece of dark brown STEAK! as a PESCATARIAN I am still disgusted just by the thought that I could have eaten some beef by accident! I wish I had opened the thing up and inspected it before even eating at all...... never going again, no thank you.
Sooo we are regulars at this spot. I am guessing the caucasian women is the manager. She is rude and always looks mean as hell. We literallyorser the same thing everytime but she insist that we said something else. Just get our order right please. This is not a debate and look a little more friendly please. Fix your face. Everyone else is and has always been very pleasant.
I came here when they first opened, it was okey. Fast forward 5 months....I ordered a beef burritos and a steak quesedilla, the beef in the burrito was generic flavorless canned beef (think taco bell without the seasoning) with the consistency of a can of dog food. The steak in the quesedilla ($13.25) was chewy chips of beef that had been boiled in water with absolutely no seasoning added. Expect meal for two $30, value of food served less than $5.If you want to pay this much for less, there are MUCH better mexican restaurants in the area that serve un-canned meat and will actually add seasoning to your meal.If you have any doubts about recent 5 star reviews, put your mind at ease, they are either employees and friends. ☺

2022-03-19This is, so far, the best Mexican restaurant Ive ever eaten at. The staff is welcoming and attentive, they make you feel like youre a family member coming for dinner. And the food is amazingly good, I had the Mexican Molcajete and it was a meat lovers wet dream.

2022-07-02This place is wonderful!! Firstly, the staff is great from the valet to the servers. My white sangria was fruity and potent. My steak hacienda was absolutely to die for! My auntie had the cameron (shrimp) with tamarind sauce and I tried it. Omg. So good. We will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

2022-04-09Weekday lunch combo specials. I had #1, taco, enchilada and rice for $6.99. The salsa was also very good. I was surprised to see a credit card convenience fee added to my bill.

2022-02-09Had a great time! Our server was friendly and helpful with recommendations and the food was fantastic. My partner and I had the Enchiladas Aztecas and one of the steak dinners. Only downside was that parking was a little tight, even on a Tuesday night -- not surprised its usually valet only. Were really looking forward to coming back in the spring and eating in the outdoor area.

2021-08-27Terrific spot for margaritas and Mexican food. Pitchers are on the pricey side, but really good. I usually have the organic or the frozen margarita. There is outside, sidewalk patio seating. I like sitting at the bar. Its a small bar with very friendly, engaging bartenders and there always seems to be friendly folks hanging out there. LGBTQ friendly. Everything Ive had on the menu was excellent. Most recently ordered a grilled vegetable bowl.

2022-06-15Heard good things about this place but couldn’t experience it. Partial my fault and partially the restaurant. We arrived at 856pm and they closed at 10pm. We arrived with party of seven (4 adults 3 kids) we thought this would be enough time because we eat pretty fast. We were told the wait would be 30 min. When a party cleared they took their time cleaning the table. Someone kept asking who we were and if we were helped. When we finally got seated at 920 we were told the kitchen closed in ten minutes. As we walked to our table the time started to speed down to now 8’min . Our server appeared very impatient. We decided to leave. My mistake was coming as late as we did. Their mistake was not telling us at 9 when they added us to the list, that the kitchen would be closing at 930. We would’ve left at 9pm.

2022-04-28The food was fair. It wasnt what I expected. I normally frequent la hacienda in other locations and their food is superb. I was thinking this would be the same business or standard in terms of taste and drinks. The alcoholic beverages were not good, and the food was just fair. But it was hot.
