Purchased this chair 1.5 years ago. Purchased the life time fabric warranty for an additional 100$. The fabric finally ripped and they will not cover the repairs. I asked for my money back for the warranty and was told there are no refunds. La-Z-Boy is a rip off. Will never purchase anything from them again. Do not purchase the warranty as they do not stand by it.
Super-oriented attention to the customer at hand. Ignored outside distractors such as the salesman that was intent on bagging us. Made useful recommendation tips that assisted us in purchasing said furniture. All in all I rate this sales associate a 5/5 in consistency with quality, care, and sticktoitiveness!
Our salesman Joe M was exceptional. He was thoroughly versed in the product and its features. I was almost not going to return since the priorsalesperson was to say the least, disappointing. So happy we returned and got Joe. What a pleasure. I have already given his name to two neighbors who are in the market for furniture. I told them both to ONLY see Joe.Management should recognize him for his professionalism and dedication to La-z-Boy. Again, thank you Joe.
My salesman was great! However, when I returned to pick up my recliner I was expecting it to be wrapped since most furniture companies I deal with wrap your items( Havertys) they told me only the back was wrapped and they couldn’t wrap it to protect it on top of that it was raining this particular day! (I live an hour from this store and I called ahead so it was too late for me to bring a blanket from my home) Also, there is no guarantee that they can help you with loading your purchase! I’m not the one to complain also they didn’t suggest anyway to accommodate my needs so I will not be doing business somewhere that has poor service! You spend all this money for furniture and they have no way for you to protect it when bringing it home!
I have left negative review prior to this one but I have to add another. Look what I found when I had to spot clean my Lazy Boy chair for the first time. Its a giant hole that appears to have occurred during shipment. This shoddy company likely wont do anything to make it right either so be warned.
I bought a $2000 recliner 2 years ago. Scene then the had to come out 3 and made repaired. 2x for fixing the back. 1x to replace the hole left side on the chair costing me $350. A few months later the right back broke were they wonted $175 to fix it.And now less than a year the left side of the chair broke again. I talked to the store asst. Manger about just replacing the chair. He said that they would get back with me but I have not heard back. So now I will have to buy a new chair. It will not be a Lazy boy.
Everyone at the La-Z-Boy Furniture store in Evans, Ga worked so hard with us to find the right pieces of furniture for our lake house. Ginny and her associate ( sorry I don’t remember her name) pulled off a miracle and found in stock furniture that perfectly fit our style.
I of course have not gotten my chair yet as it was just ordered so will have to wait to review that in about 3 months. But if I could give 10 Stars to Tia the employee whoAssisted me I would. She literally spent hours with me for 3 days making sure I made the right choice. It was critical due to my back issues and she was so friendly, patient and knowledgeable. She is a Super Star and when I make additional purchases I will be reaching out to her. Tia was not just selling furniture she was building a relationship with a lifelong customer.
I was on the hunt for a comfortable love seat, but wasn’t having much luck. When I stopped by a La-Z-Boy store, the customer service rep (Kaye) really listened to me as I described what I needed. She pointed me to a perfect love seat for short legged people like me! Both Kaye and Joe (who helped me the following day) provided advice as I narrowed down preferred color and fabric. There was no pressure to decide quickly, no attempt to upsell, just friendly and informative assistance. I’m happy with my decision and look forward to delivery of my new love seat!
First time ever in the store. Salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable of all there products. We had intentions of going to other furniture stores but decided not to after going to LA. Z. Boy. Ended up purchasing a new sofa and two recliners the same day. Only problem was that one item is special order and will not be in until late fall but we decided it would be worth the wait. Will definitely be going back for any future furniture purchases.
Excellent customer service. We were greeted at the door, the salesperson introduced herself (Linda Parker), and after a few questions, she said she’d let us shop without her “hovering”. We appreciated that. She was very helpful, and knowledgeable. We picked out a beautiful sofa.I’m editing to say that we received our sofa, (it gorgeous) and decided to purchase another piece. We were cordially greeted again, and received the same wonderful service. I high recommend Lazyboy!
I’m very happy with the service at La-Z-Boy in Augusta GA. Our salesperson Kaye Rainey and a young decorator who helped us, quickly laid out a room and helped us pick a sleeper sofa and rug for our spare room. We were in a hurry and they stepped up. I also trust La-Z-Boy products for good quality.
My recent experience with your store was awful. I would honestly give less than one star if I was able to. I was given an estimated delivery time of 8-12 weeks on August 23rd for a glider and I have yet to receive my purchase. If I had been told the actual turn around time to get what I ordered I would have NOT ordered from you. I dont know if our sales person (Latasha) did not know about the production delays or if our if she was purposely misleading in order to get a sale. The only thing I do know is that I am over $1,000 dollars poorer and I dont have a chair. It really is a shame because our previous experience buying furniture with Joe was great. He took the time to actually update us on the status of our order and was generally pleasant. By contrast we have only heard from Latasha one time and we had to call and complain in order to hear anything from her.The only concession Lazy Boy made when we told them that we were displeased with the time frame of our purchase was to allow us to pick up our purchase from the store on our request because we have a one month old baby at home and they gave us a $32 dollar credit on our account (useless because at this point I cannot even begin to imagine ever buying anything else from them).In conclusion, buyer beware because regardless of when you order you cant cancel your order EVEN IF they tell you one delivery time frame and dont deliver upon it. I am so disgusted by the situation that I wouldnt go back if I hadnt paid for the damned chair.
If you haven’t done so, get a La-Z-Boy!!! The whole process has been so easy! We went in the store, got the best salesperson there and she did all the hard work! They have given us updates of where we were with our order along the way. We got news that our couch is ready to be delivered and we are soooooooo excited to finally have comfort when we sit down at night!! 10/10 recommend purchasing from La-Z-Boy!!!
I am bought Laz Boy for quality. I was sold on the warranty. Thats why it cost so much. Its quality. However, I just recently had where my pet got sick and I removed cushions and discovered my sectional frame was broken. Much to my surprised if I want to get my sectional repaired (life warranty) I have to pay for labor. I have to pay 175 for them just to come out for frame. They do have self repair kits where they can sell us and we can do all all the repairs ourselves...... Wonder why I paid for a warranty then. This also does not cover the other labor cost of sending someone out to come see the fabric and cleaning the sectional. Highly disappointed. I guess lesson learned....dont overpay for couch and never buy warrant!! However the salesperson was really nice!
We are disappointed with the way our sectional has held up over less than 5 years.Look up La-Z-Boy Recliner handle or La-Z-Boy ( insert other parts) on YouTube and you’ll see how often you’re going to have to replace or repair things on these overpriced pieces of furniture PLUS, to add insult to injury you will be paying for the parts whether you’ve owned the furniture for 5 years or 5 months. I remember when we bought the furniture that the saleperson really hyped the “Life Time Warranty”. I suggest making sure you take the time to read the paperwork carefully before you commit based on this statement. It’s got a big * in there.We bought the Devon Sectional less than 5 years ago and are an average family that uses our furniture in conventional ways-we don’t have wild parties, young children or even anyone more than average weight sitting on the couch. So far, one of the sectional module’s frame has broken across the back, overall the cushions don’t spring back as well and the handle for the center recliner snapped off. I have only attempted to have the handle replaced and my options were to do it myself and buy the part from La-Z-Boy corporate for 12.99 or if I wanted to have a service technician come out pay an exorbitant call fee ($100+), pay for the part and also an hourly charge on top of that. Why can’t I go in and get a handle from the store I purchased the sectional from for FREE?!The customer service number means pushing a lot buttons to finally get through to a person and in my case speaking to someone who acts like YOU are a bothersome pest and they already know what you’re going to say so they answer before you can get a complete sentence out of your mouth. I went in to the store hoping I could just get the part there and nope- they were going to just give me a number to call. Again. I paid over 3000+ dollars for this sort of “service” and warranty? Sad.
Linda was a great asset to my buying experience. I knew what I wanted and she directed me to the side of the store I should look. She checked on my sister and I, answered questions however she never hovered. My partner lives in Virginia and we are furnishing a house in SC also which can be difficult by phone, once the couch was picked out Linda was a trooper to help me pick out the perfect navy I wanted. I found the absolute compliment swatch for my throw pillows and our amazing couch was born. Linda worked hard on finding every discount for me and she was absolutely amazing. I would recommend her to anyone. I felt I was shopping with a friend not someone I met twenty minutes earlier. I can’t wait to have my couch delivered and enjoy it for many years to come.
Always excellent customer service. They pay attention to detail and help with any questions you may have about what you are looking for. I never feel rushed during my purchase process. My sales associate has great ideas and always tries to give me the best deal possible to make sure I want. Love working with the design team.
This is under my sons name but mine is Gretchen L. Let’s just say highly disappointed in the customer service and overall experience of this company. When you pay this much for furniture You expect more. I didn’t know that the furniture was just to look at not use. And it’s just on one of the pieces I bought. And I’m the only one that really sits on this one. Started coming apart at seams after one month and replaced and it is doing it again. Along with another issue which they say is not under warranty. Even when you bought the accidental (even though we didn’t do) insurance. Just WOW! Would think twice about buying from Evans Georgia or any Lazy Boy place!!!!😡
My only regret is I haven’t been purchasing my furniture from La-Z- Boy all along. Just from “test sitting” we realized the quality is so much better than what we have purchased in previous years. Our sales consultant, Latasha was knowledgeable of all of their products and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. She also explained their warranty in great detail and also helped us make the right decision on the pet warranty for our four legged kids. We will definitely shop La-Z-Boy for all of our future furniture needs.
Sales person was perfect for the way I shop. She gave me time to roam, but close by when I had questions. I was on overload by the time I narrowed my choice down.She provided me with her schedule and contact info. I returned the next day. My same sales person was very helpful selecting fabrics, the followed me to my house with her manager with samples. Both of them gave me great ideas for my living room.I returned to the store with the two ladies and made my purchase.In the past I have bought three sofa bed’s, three recliners for my parents, a side chair and now a recliner for myself.Thank you great service and a great product.
We were greeted immediately and Kaye listened to all our needs. She did not try to push anything and was so helpful with ideas. Once our selection was made she was very thorough in completing the sale and setting expectations regarding delivery. She also took time to explain how to maintain our purchase.Excellent experience at LaZBoy.
There were delays with shipping, but it was during a pandemic so I didnt mind.The problem is the quality of the chair. For this much money and time, it is very disappointing that the chair is of such poor quality. I ordered the exact chair that I had last time (different color) but you can immediately tell there are vast differences. I am using a extra cushion pad on top of the chair just so I can make it usable. Otherwise it is unsuitable for sitting. And there are hundreds of little threads (2inches or longer) coming out of the chair. I am afraid to cut them because I dont want to cause tears. There is also lots of creaking when the chair rocks.I did file online for service to get issues fixed, and they did replace several parts on the chair, but that did not seem to help. All of the problems are still there.Buyer beware of quality issues! You are not going to get the normal La-Z-Boy quality, but you pay a whole lot for a sad creaky unfinished chair!
We just purchased 3 chairs from La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Evans, GA. We found the three pieces to be the exact style and quality for our needs. Kaye, the salesperson who assisted us, listened to our likes and wants and from that seemed to know the right pieces to show us. She was able to answer all of our questions without pressuring us to make an immediate decision. When we contacted her with our choices, she willingly went the extra mile to meet us there on her day off to make sure we got precisely what we wanted. It was a great experience, not just because of the quality of the product, but also because of Kaye’s depth of product knowledge and her superior customer service. We will certainly visit La-Z-Boy again for our next furniture needs.
DH & I hunted 2 chairs. He wanted a lazy boy, I wanted a catnapper-- we got lazyboys-- lol. Partly because this store had a good selection and DH fell in love with his chair and the salesperson was very nice and very believable. I was not as impressed and it was not exactly what I wanted.But DH was in love and who I am to get between a man and his dream recliner? I figured-- meh- no big deal- Ill just get the one I like the best here since there isnt a catnapper showroom locally anyhow. He was excited as he heard all the data on the warranty, he special ordered the fabric, and I randomly sat in different ones and picked the one I liked the best and was happy it came in a color I didnt hate that didnt cost more-- for me, its how the fabric feels. I dont like slimy. I dont want to stick to anything. Pleather and leather makes me nuts, that fake suede creeps me out. This knocked out a large selection of display. I found one that was pretty much a generic beige recliner, it did not rock as I hoped but seemed the best I could find and it was reasonable-- especially compared to his! Lol After he added on his fabric and color, it was expensive-- but-- again-- if he loves it, right? And hey, hes retiring-- he deserves to splurge.We place our order with our nice saleslady whos name escapes me. She sent us a thank you card and everything. Very sweet.We received my chair first because it wasnt special order. It was exactly what we expected. It sat as expected. Its okay. I am neither in love nor in hate with it- just like when we bought it.My DH chair was much later to come in. It was wayyyyy later than expected. It looked as expected, was the chair as expected, was the materiel expected-- but-- it didnt sit the way the one in the showroom did. This one was stuffed differently in the head and neck part-- which causes the head and neck to jam kinda downward-- which means DH actually HATES his expensive chair-- LOL-- and he refuses to call or tell anyone there about it-- and well, I cant blame this store for this or the sales people-- I slightly blame myself because I guess if I knew thered be a possibility he might hate his chair, I might have put up more of a fight to look in more places to find one I actually really liked! Lol I CAN say-- I do like Catnapper better and itd be GREAT if someone locally would carry more than two of these chairs in their showroom! LolAnywhoooo--- (shrugs)-- crazy, eh?
All the staff at La-Z-Boy in Evans Georgia were very friendly and very helpful. My sales associate Tasha Henderson was extremely helpful with my selection of a recliner. Jake in design was also very helpful in me selecting just the right fabric to cover the chair. I would certainly recommend this business to anyone whos interested in Quality Furniture and good customer service.

Shopping at LaZ-Boy was a very pleasant experience. The sales associates allowed us to look at the items we were interested in without hovering around us yet they were close enough if we needed questions answered . They never applied pressure to make a sale. Our sales associates, Samantha Moore, was awesome and I would recommend her to anyone.
We were very happy that a sale associate was able to make an appoinment for us to come into the Show Room in Evans, GA. Kristen was very patient with our trying several recliners and making a decision in regard to that. There were quite a few questions that she would ask us such as fabrics, size, fit, value, and financing. Very please with her service and cant wait for my new chair to come in

We had the BEST experience at La-Z-boy in Evans, Georgia! Reba was our sales associate and she was absolutely amazing. She listened to what i was looking for, recommended in my price range. My husband can be a little picky and want exactly what he wants right at that moment. She had a designer join us to please my husband and myself on the proper colors , she made some quick calls to make things happen on my husbands time frame ( meaning same day!) she gave us a discount without asking and followed through with us until we walked out the door. It is worth every penny we spent! My husband is pleased and when Daddy is pleased, we are all pleased!! Thank you La-Z-boy and Reba!! Merry Christmas !
We had an excellent experience from start to finish. Our sales rep and designer went above and beyond. They walked us through the showroom including all the fabric choices. They came to our home and measured the room. Then we went back to the showroom for a digital presentation that showed what the pieces would like in our room. It was very helpful.We love our furniture! I would definitely recommend.
I recently purchased a sofa, love seat and recliner from La-Z-Boy in Augusta, Georgia. Rugs and pillows were included in my package also. Working with Kaye and Billie was a great experience! Kaye helped me find the exact furniture pieces that I wanted and helped me make decisions about the pieces that I needed. Billie assisted with furniture layout, color choices and rug sizes. They came to my home to take measurements and see the space so that they would be able to better advise me on my choices. Billie used a computer program to “place” my furniture and rug in the room. After ordering the furniture, Kaye kept me up to date on my order and let me know when it would be delivered. Both ladies were professional, friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They also seemed to be as excited as I am about my new furniture. Delivery guys arrived within the time window that was given and did a great job! I highly recommend shopping at the La-Z-Boy Store in Augusta, Ga.
Our salesperson was delightful, helped us find exactly what we needed, was efficient and very informative. The chair we found is perfect for our needs. Sturdy and big enough to accommodate my 6’2” husband, and stylish enough to fit in with my decor without looking stodgy and old fashioned. Couldn’t be happier!
Not only is the selection at Evans La-z-boy great, but the staff is also top notch. We were never pressured into making a decision, and our saleswoman was helpful and very observant. When she figured out what we were looking for, she helped us pick out the perfect furniture and fabrics. We didnt purchase anything our first visit, and when we returned a few months later, she remembered who we were and they had documented exactly what we liked, making the process painless.
Worked out the details for our new sectional. It was the best experience we’ve ever had shopping for furniture. Mrs Butler and even the staff of lay z boy were so helpful, kind, and patient with us when we was undecided. Finally got it done and we couldn’t be more happier with it. I had a great experience with the sales staff & design team. They came to my house, measured my space and listened to what we were looking for. We met in the store a few days later and were shown a few options. The staff were patient and re-worked their plan based on what we liked. Very professional and friendly! We now are waiting for our beautiful new room to arrive!
LZB advertises special furnishing picks by Kristen (Bell). My consultant and designer were Kristen (Butler) and Jake, Evans, GA! Kristen and Jake utilized a simulated floor plan to come up with spectacular furnishings and decor to update the family room space. I provided recommendations what I desired for the space. Prior to confirming the purchases, I received numerous, wonderful simulated design layouts. It was difficult to chose one layout, but finally selected one. I am very pleased with the selections! Thank you Kristen and Jake for the superb consultation, design, furnishings, customer service, and support!!!
Joe was extremely informative. He knew just which recliners would be best for my height, which is very short.He was patient and explained the different options in a manner that helped me make my decision on which recliner would best fit my physical need and color & decor style.Ill definitely buy La-Z-Boy furniture again in the future. The Augusta Lazy Boy Gallery was so helpful this past week. Moving to the area. They help us with new living room items and since we had bought the house 2 hours prior, the design team did an excellent job of recreating the living space. Too cool to see on a big screen.Tia was most helpful as well.She knew her inventory and products. So impressed with the new styles of Lazy Boy! Ain’t your grandmas recliners for sure!! All the staff was professional. Looking forward to our new location!!!
We have been working with Kay for a couple of months regarding furniture for our home currently under construction. When we were ready to order furniture, Kay, and Jake from the design team came out and measured our new home, and were able to help is choose our fabrics and layout. They were a pleasure to work with. So helpful. Would highly recommend their services.
Charlie C, did a great job from the time we walked into the door to the exit. He informed us of all the recliners that was on sale. He asked what was the main thing We were looking For; I Said comfortably and he knew exactly which recliner was the most comfortable and he was right. It took us all about 30 minutes. Job well done!

We had a great experience at the Laz y boy store. Our salesperson, Reba, we very helpful. She worked with us to find the best possible fit. Her manner was helpful and not hard sell. She made us feel that she cared about us personally. Consequently we were able to take the time we needed and get the thechairs that will meet our needs
I always buy from La-z-boy. I was however this time extremely disappointed that my recliner will not be available for delivery until May or June. Today is November. I understand there are issues due to Covid-19 but that seems like an unacceptable length of time to me.The young lady who waited on us was very nice and helpful . Delivery issues are not her fault
Ask for Reba! She’s an absolute pleasure to work with. I’m having to order from out of state because of the pandemic, but she was so understanding and helpful—even working with me from home! Buying furniture is such a big deal because these are pieces you’ll have for many years to come. So I appreciate everything Reba did for me.
The service was excellent. Kathleen was attentive, helpful, friendly, not pushy, and did her best to get the best price possible. I was looking to buy a couch or sectional and I checked other furniture stores around town. I didn’t feel right about anything I sat on. The furniture and warranty/service at La-Z-Boy is light years beyond any of the other “go to” stores. From now on this is the first place I will be going when I need any type furniture their store accommodates.
My experience at La-Z-Boy was very pleasant with Joes assistance. Joe welcomed me with such a warm and friendly smile as I entered the store. You could immediately tell he was a people person and loved his job because it came so natural to him. Joe answered all of my questions in full detail about my large chair and a half that I was thinking about purchasing. He was so convincing and matched the color so well I bought it. After the large chair and a half was delivered to my home it looked great!! During Presidents Day weekend, I went back to La-Z-Boy to purchase the matching sofa. Again, Joe helped me. He was the same friendly person I had met before. I cant wait to get my sofa!! Keep up the good work Joe!! Your personality will take you very far in life!!!

She was very helpful in showing us the different recliners and helping us to find the 2 recliners that met our needs. Your product is superior and your staff is the best. I highly recommend you to all my friends.
Tia was amazing throughout the process of choosing furniture. Returning several weeks after our initial visit, she not only remembered our names but also what we were originally interested in. The room designer (his name escapes me right now) was absolutely amazing and so extremely patient with us, as the like with Tia (she even moved around tables and rugs next to our pieces so we could invision it!!!). They made sure our furniture properly played into the configuration of our home and it legitimately felt like their first priority was our satisfaction- not to make a sale. I could not speak more highly of this location, Tia and the designer.
We are enjoying the new recliner. The level of comfort and fabric quality are definitely unlike most. We were quite disappointed in the buying process. We chose to purchase a recliner and opted out of delivery. We were basically left to tote the recliner through the store and had absolutely no assistance loading it. The store has nice furniture and you certainly pay a pretty penny so to be left with such poor customer service at the end left a pretty bad taste in our mouths. I don’t think we will be back.
We were greeted warmly when we entered the store and asked if they could help us with anything in particular. When we expressed what we were looking for, we were graciously taken to the area where our furniture was on display. The whole time we were there, our salesperson listened attentively and showed us all our options, including the option to finance our purchase if needed. We felt like valued customers and left believing that all our needs were met.
My wife, Ann, and I had a really good experience at La-Z-Boy. We were looking for bedroom furniture and had them come to our house to take some measurements. After they took the measurements I had them check out and measure another room that we are planning to use as an office. Later we met back at La-Z-Boy and they had a presentation set up for us and our son. They showed us his bedroom on a tv screen and the different ways the furniture could be set up. We figured out several different options and then decided to make an appointment to come back the next day after sleeping on it. We also picked out furniture for the office. The folks we worked with are Linda and Billie and they were just great! They really helped us find what we wanted and made sure it worked in our space before we ordered it. They were even able to show the colors that the walls will be painted in our rooms which helped in picking fabric color.We are so pleased with the process that we’re having them measure another room tomorrow so we can order a sectional sofa. Ms. Kristin Butler was our sales assistant and she far exceeded any expectations that we had. My husband is handicapped and I mistakenly left his walker at home in Aiken, SC. I looked at recliners but thought Joe should sit in it since it was for him. This very sweet person went and got a desk chair with wheels and arm rests and pushed it outside to bring my husband inside. She pushed him around to look at different chairs. We bought a leather recliner from her. I want to thank her again for her kindness to my husband and going above and beyond for her customers. She gets an A ++++ from us. We were so humbled by her pure from the heart kindness. I almost broke out in tears when she went and got him and she treated him with such kindness.A visit that we won’t forget. Thank you for having such a genuine do all I can for my customers employee.
This has been the best experience shopping for furniture! We was just looking when we popped in. lol Wasn’t even a planned visit! I would more then willing to go back for my furniture needs in the future! The staff was friendly helpful and super knowledgeable. They went every extra mile to insure that we got the best.
Our salesman was Charlie Creech. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful as he guided us thru the furniture buying process. He was very clear in explaining what our expectations should be. He made the experience pleasant, he has been true to his word. He accompanied the designer to our home to measure. The designer was Billie Wachman. She was equally pleasant, knowledgeable, and had great ideas. When I went back for my appointment, the pleasant experience continued. I felt like they valued my business and I was extremely pleased with the entire experience!
Excellent service from the time we walked in the door. Kristen Butler was very knowledgeable, very kind, very helpful and worked diligently to get us the right chair for our home. Love LazyBoy, havehad many of their chairs, never had a bad one, or bad service. kristen was soooo patient and kind. Such a blessing to us. Love the chair we purchased (the Maverick) try it, it’s sooooooo comfy and will buy again with the same sales rep. Thank you Kristen.
The salesperson, Kaye Rainey, was very accommodating but not at all pushy. We had never been in the store before....maybe thought it was lower end furnishings. We were pleasantly surprised. Nice store! Prices were somewhat higher than other stores, but I cant say for certain that quality was the reason. Anyway, Kayz Wayz impressed us and we are looking forward to our new swivel rocker.
Purchased two recliners and a couch for over 3000$. One recliner was delivered broken. When we contacted La-Z-Boy for service. They initially said it would be replaced, but then told us the chair was out of stock. A techincian was sent to fix the chair to make it serviceable until a replacement was in stock. The technician declaired it fixed and we were denied a replacment. We have two of the exact same chair and the broken chair sits wrong and is completely uncomforable. We contacted the store in hopes they would help us make this right. I was told they had no part in these kinds of issues and it was up to us and corporate. Once they have your money they dont care if the product is defective.
I shopped online during this COVID-19 quarantine. I called the store and made an appointment to look at the furniture. The staff not only identified the piece I looked at online, they found other alternatives to have me look at. When I was at my appointment, the assigned staff person was very cordial and knowledgeable. In the end I bought my online piece. All in all it a good experience.
I had a great buying experience. My sales associate was very patient and helped me through the process. I never felt pressured in any way. I could have looked at other places for my chairs but decided that the service I got was worth it and called back and ordered my 2 recliners.
Your salesperson Charles is the main reason I bought the chair! He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I used to sell timeshare which is a very hard sale to make. I dont think Charles would had any problem selling time share! Very warm personable and extremely friendly. You seem to take a genuine interest in my well being!
I was shopping today for a love seat recliner. I was assisted by Samantha Moore. She was delightful. So helpful. She showed me 3 recliners in my price range. Was very knowledgeable as well as pleasant. I did not have enough money to buy today. But I will definitely be coming back in a couple of weeks to buy from Ms. Moore. Cant say enough about her service. Please thank her again for making this a great experience for me.
La-Z-Boy in Evans,Georgia has some of the best looking quality furniture and I highly recommend anyone in search of furniture to shop here. We had the best customer service from Samantha Moore and Billie Welchman. They were outstanding! They even came to our house to help us select the perfect couch and coffee table. Charlie and Billie were great and helped us find the right pieces in the right color to replace our old furniture. Billie was an expert on matching colors and Charlie Was an excellent pert on models and dimensions etc. A great team that was incredibly helpful in our decision process. I highly recommend Lazboy and the great staff at the Mullen’s Crossing store.
The furniture is high quality, the service is very dependable, the delivery guys were the BEST, but what makes this La-Z-Boy a 5 Star location is my design person, Linda Parker! She actually listens to my thoughts and helps me put together a grouping that I truly feel expresses my taste. She is comfortable steering me to the best choices for my lifestyle and my budget. She is the icing on the cake!!
Our La-Z-Boy experience was excellent. Needed a lift recliner for my husband ASAP and found several fine options at La-Z-Boy. Our sales associate was extremely accommodating in enabling us to obtain the floor model that we selected that same day (rather than waiting for delivery 5 days later). My husband has been enjoying his new chair in a skilled nursing facility, and the staff have found the lift feature to be useful during transfers.
I came in to the store around December after visiting several furniture stores in the Augusta area. La Z Boy was the last store of my visit, and I must say I wasn’t hopeful when I walked in. After visiting 6 other stores, I didn’t think what I was looking for was out there. When I walked in, I connected with Cindy Miller. She was SO kind and accommodating, and my views on furniture shopping changed upon meeting her. She made the process seamless. She listened to my cryptic description of what I was looking for, and she made sense of it. Within minutes, she showed me exactly what I was looking for. I recently visited again during the President’s Day Sale to take the plunge and make the purchase. Ms. Cindy was FANTASTIC yet again, and I even got to work with Billie Wachman. I didn’t realize I needed Billie’s interior design services until I got them. She was extremely helpful, and I felt 100% comfortable in my purchases after working with her and Cindy combined. I cannot say enough good about this experience and this location, and I cannot wait to get my new furniture!
We had excellent service from Tia who was helpful and efficient. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because they would not let me check out fabric samples to take home for an hour, even leaving my credit card. Tia actually followed me to my house with the samples. If she had not done this, I would not have made a purchase.
I was amazed at the different fit of the chairs to your body to get super comfortable. Endless options to get the chair you want. Definitely didnt have to settle and got the chair I wanted. I was in my construction clothes and wasnt turned away like I couldnt afford a chair or was too dirty to sit on the furniture. Great buying experience over all. Very well built solid chair.
The sales lady was very nice and helpful! We were able to complete the sale via text after having gone into the show room several weeks ago. I am disappointed that it will be a month or more before I receive my chair. I know some of this is due to the recent Covid shut down but I am still disappointed.
I have purchased 6 la-z-Boy recliners over the years and I highly recommend Joe Mandarini as a Sales Cosultant at the Evans, Ga. Furniture Gallery. I purchased two leather recliners for my mother and she just loves them. Joe explains everything about how they are made to the care of the fabric. I wouldnt use any other sales person nor would I buy any other furniture than La-z-Boy. I am a very satisfied customer.
Just went to look around, sales associate approached us immediately, was extremely helpful, and friendly. Patiently waited while I tried almost every chair in the store. Answered all our questions. No pressure to buy, just gave us a card with their info and a price on the chair we were most interested in. Overall, great experience.

Kaye patiently listened to my concerns, asked me lots of questions & then began to show me the products & services that La-Z-Boy has to offer. She brought Billie, the interior designer, to our home & together, we began putting together a plan for updating our home. My husband & I then joined Kaye & Billie to view their suggestions for furnishings & accessories that complimented the items we have accumulated over 45 years of marriage. The result is amazing! We LOVE our beautiful new home& we give all the credit to Kaye & Billie. They are the epitome of skill, professionalism, and genuine concern for the customer. I went to LaZboy for a quality product as we have had excellent product quality over past years. I was not disappointed.I received stellar customer service withKristen, Jake and Billy working with me to pick out just the right fabric choices and color combinations.A visit to my house with a follow up consultation proved all choices to be exactly what I was looking for in updating our home.
Working with Kaye was an enjoyable experience. She is personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and cares about pleasing the customer. We will work with her again when we look for additional furniture. I will add further comments after the furniture is delivered and set up. Hopefully that experience will go well too.
We purchased a new couch and recliner in September. While the customer service was good and the salesman was helpful we recently encountered a huge problem with our recliner. The fabric has started to pill and come off the chair. When my wife contacted the store their customer service department tried to convince her that, all fabrics do that and You need to buy a fabric shaver to solve the problem. Our previous couch and chair lasted 10 years, 2 moves, and 4 pets without this problem. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE HERE! They charge a premium price for cheap goods.
When we first walked into the store it felt like we were at a car dealership. The sales person would not allow us to walk around by ourselves. However we found a couch we really liked! We purchased the couch and was told it would take 4-6 weeks before it came in. We went ahead and paid for it to be delivered to our house. When it finally arrived at the warehouse we set up a delivery date but the soonest it could get delivered was in a week! So we decided we wanted to just pick it up ourselves since we really wanted the couch and had been waiting so long for it but they won’t reimburse the delivery fee that we paid and it was $179.98. We were not told that it would take a week or more for it to get delivered AFTER it arrives at the warehouse not that we couldn’t get reimbursed for the delivery fee if we wanted to pick it up ourselves or we would have never paid to have it delivered in the first place!
Very happy with the staff and product provided by the La-Z-Boy Evans team. Kristen was very knowledgeable and gave us tons of options. She catered to our experience without becoming aggressive to sell something. If youre looking for a great product and experience I highly recommend this team!
Had a very nice experience with my purchase from LaZBoy on washington road, and am really enjoying my new recliner. Kaye was my salesperson, and she was very patient, and courteous and helpful. It is a VERY hard decision in this store because they have so many great recliners, so you will likely drive yourself crazy trying to decide, like me. They have great selection and lots of options. Another huge bonus was my chair disassembled into two pieces for MUCH easier transport. Ok so it isnt the cheapest store in town, but you get better materials quality i think
We had a great time at the Augusta Laz boy. Tía and Jake made a great team working on two family residences and no one had a clue how to pull it together from our family. Thanks for a fun process that had its challenges. When Jake showed us the furniture arrangement we selected on our own, we realized we could not properly fit it all into the room. He and Tia worked hard and we came up with a great solution. Thanks !
Went in a few times with my husband and finally decided to pull the plug and get the Tribecca sectional. Though we love the couch and cant wait for it to arrive, I feel a little put off by the fact we were duped into getting fabric protection. I noticed on the receipt that we were charged for fabric protection twice for each part of the sectional. That would have been fine if we had agreed to fabric protection, which is something we certainly did not. I would have never agreed to fabric protection because I dont like the chemicals and I dont feel the cost justifies the supposed protection you get. I understand that its an upsell for them, however I dont think its right for them to just slip it on our order without verbally confirming.Fortunately for us, we still love the couch and the buying experience was pretty easy. Unfortunately for Lazy Boy, that extra $200 that they tacked on at the very end cost them a recliner purchase they would have gotten from us and any further purchases. Dont be shady. Just ask the customer flat out or risk future business.
The customer service during the sale was exceptional. They took their time helping me weigh the pros and cons, searching swatches and creating a beautiful collection of furniture for my Home. It takes awhile for them to custom build your selection, and I had decided to sell my living room furniture and get a good cleaning in before it’s arrival. Then I was diagnosed with cancer and had surgery within two weeks. I knew I had two more weeks left before my delivery date on my living room, but I knew how much I would appreciate going home and being able to “live” in my lazyboy. I called the store and explained my situation. Since my lazyboy chair wasn’t a custom order piece, I wanted to see if I could pay separate shipping to get it early. The lady asked for my phone number and requested to call me back after she talked to her manager. Within the hour, she called and asked if anyone could come to their store and get my chair. They had the one I selected in stock and would give it to me early and use the one I was having shipped in to replace the stores chair. My lazyboy chair was waiting on me when I was discharged from the hospital and I have been living in it since. They went out of their way to help me when they didn’t have to. They will have my business forever.
Kaye was our retail specialist she allowed me space to figure out what I wanted and needed out of 2 recliners. We kept in contact and worked through options. Discussing final financial options was smooth. She discussed my responsibility in taking care of the recliners
UPDATE: So I have decided to update my original review of 1 star to 5 stars based on the swift response from upper management to my first review. Though they could not turn back the clock to re do our first experience, I had multiple phone calls from the upper LaZBoy echelon and they did everything in their power to write the wrongs including refunding us for the fabric protection, trying to escalate our replacement piece production, ensuring we will be contacted once a week until we get the replacement, and just genuinely apologize for what we’ve been dealing with. It really restored my faith in the brand and it was refreshing to see upper management care that deeply about their customers and their willingness to help make things right. I will still leave my original review below, however, please take note that the company has been very diligent in making it up to us and that effort has not gone unnoticed.We have not had a good experience with LaZBoy and will not purchase anything from them again. The entire experience has been a nightmare. First off, we we felt like we were conned into purchasing fabric protection. We were never specifically asked whether we wanted it or not because if they had asked then we would have said absolutely not. I know it’s just an up sale for them and frankly I don’t like the chemicals they use for fabric protection anyway. Somehow of course, a charge for fabric pro textile magically popped up on our receipt and we didn’t know that the sales rep snuck that $200 up charge until we had left the store.The buying experience hasn’t been the only horrible thing about this company. After waiting 6 plus weeks to get our sectional, the support bar on the left side of the couch collapsed after only having it for 2 weeks. The left side now sinks in. We called customer service, repeatedly for over a week, to find out what we were suppose to do in that situation. The rep that we were assigned never once returned phone calls or emails and I had to call every day in order to get some semblance of an answer as to what happens now that our brand new sofa is broken. After a week of phone tag, they finally ordered a repair on our sectional. It took 3 weeks to get a tech out here to spend a few minutes looking at us and then deeming the piece not repairable. I had to call customer service again to ask what would happen now since the tech just said we would be contacted and we weren’t. The customer service rep said that the claim would be sent to LaZBoy and they would decide what would happen next. She made it seem as our sectional, which broke only after 2 weeks of ownership, would possibly not be taken care of. She gave me no sort of guareentee and told me I had to wait 7-10 business days to find out. Almost two weeks later I get a call saying that LaZBoy actually did approve it for reselection and that we will be getting a replacement, however, that’s another 6 to 8 weeks of waiting for the replacement! We ordered this sectional back in April and it looks like we will not have a fully operational couch until late summer.Between the sneaky car salesman like selling practices, non communicative and non existent customer service, and the broken product that was advertised to last decades, it’s safe to say I will NEVER gamble on LaZBoy again. It’s so sad because we literally picked this company for our new couch based off its reputation for high quality furniture and customer service. That was unfortunately not our experience in the slightest.
After we browsed the showroom, Kaye filled me in on all of the details such as fabric choices, cushion options, furniture leg choices, area rugs and other items such as warranties. She was very knowledgeable and helpful as I narrowed down my choices. Kaye and Jake then visited our home and took measurements and pictures of the room we are totally redecorating. In our follow-up meeting they used a CAD program to show us both birds eye and floor level views of their recommendations so we could see how everything would fit in our family room. We made some minor changes and ended up with a perfect choice of upholstered furniture, coffee and end tables, lamps and area rugs, all of which complimented each other quite well in both design and color. All of this in a not particularly large family room with very dated furnishings. I would recommend Kaye and Jake to anyone wanting to completely upgrade a room or even choosing just a few pieces.
Paid $3500 for a twin chair. Ripcord broke after 2 years. Lifetime warranty does not include repair. Parts are shipped at my expense. Store Assistant Manager and Salesperson can’t or won’t help. Long hold times with customer service are just normal for Lazy Boy. I won’t buy another product from them. All parts must be from Lazy Boy.
La-Z-Boy had such a large selection of different types of rocker recliners that allowed us to select the right one for our needs. They also had a large selection of different colors and patterns to choose from that met our needs also.Joe Mandarini also had great knowledge of the selection of recliners to help us in the buying process. He Helped us through the purchase and answered all of the questions that we had with the warranty process and how the delivery of our recliner would be. Thanks again Joe great job.
We purchased a sofa from lazy boy several years ago. I complained about the side i sit on not being level. They replaced it but the next one was no better. I just put some pillows where i sit but it dont help much. Everyone at the store was great. Its just a problem with the way it was put together.
My experience at La-Z-Boy Showroom was five star. They were knowledgeable about the furniture and able to put together the colors and furniture pieces that I was interested in. They even went above and beyond to take time out to visit my home to view the area that was being furnished. I look forward to the arrival of my custom new Greatroom furniture!

We had a delightful experience at La-Z-Boy in Evans! Both Kaye and Billie listened to our needs for sunroom and living room with compact space, showed us various options, and pleasantly accommodated our friend Donna who came along to contribute her valued opinion. Coupled with their expert experience and style, we came up with couch, recliner, and table solutions that will look stunning in our new home in North Augusta! They even came to our new (empty) home to visualize the space, and took pictures and measurements. They worked with us to provided workable pricing for absolute quality furniture and utilized a 3D picture mockup to show us the spacial layout (so cool). Never used an interior designer before and so glad we did! Loved learning about La-Z-Boy’s “performance” fabrics. Kaye and Billie were very serious and competent about their craft, yet they had delightful senses of humor - hilarious!!!
Tia was our sales rep. and she was cool from the very beginning. Pointed us in the right direction allowed us to look without hovering or being overbearing. She checked back frequently and asked if we had questions. We narrowed things down and Tia helped us finish the deal. You are lucky to have her on your team.
I had an EXCELLENT experience, GREAT quality, and AWESOME customer service from Anna, I was not rushed and showed every material we asked for on the furniture we looked at. We will definitely be returning to this store when we make our final decision. Thank you from a happy shopper 😊
Customer Service in store one of the worst I have ever encountered. Furniture is great, but staff at store was awful. Went in and was given a quote for quite a bit of furniture. The very next day we went to purchase and they price changed. Informed them the price from the day previous and they said they could not honor it. Went back and forth with the sale associate and the manager for over an hour, and still didnt honor the price. To add to the fun, they said furnatiure was in stock and would be delivered in 4 weeks.. bought in Early May, and didnt arrive until end of July. If you are going to give them your business, go to a different store and give commission to someone who deserve it.
My husbands leather rocker recliner needed some tender TLC after it was delivered. I contacted Charlie, our salesman, at the store and sent him pictures. Yes, it took several months for the replacement parts to be ordered, but today it all came together. A wonderful repair representative named Taylor made our recliner over. Persistence paid off when I kept calling. I do thank those who worked so hard to take care of this chair.
Linda and Billy are amazing... went in with my husband and didn’t have anything in mind but a dining room set and we ended up with not only a dining room set but also a bedroom set. Linda treated us beyond outstanding and helped us get the best prices. Billy is an amazing and creative gal, I will be going back sooner than later for all our finiahin touches!
La-Z-Boy recliners are the best, for my money, from past experience. However, being the quality product they are, I just wonder why this company has to resort to used car tactics to sell their furniture. Their furniture galleries are just for show, from my experience. I dont like being treated like Im at a used-car lot when buying an item like this. And I was told to sign and/or initial a document in about 15 places, although I paid cash for the chair!!!! By the way, the older La-Z-boy recliner I already had is about 15 years old (still in great shape) and I bought it from the Wrightsboro Road La-Z-Boy Gallery. It also cost less than 1/3 the price of this new one. But I needed a wider recliner to sleep in because of my COPD.) After I purchased my Randell recliner, I checked the La-Z-Boy site and found the basic price of this chair to be $899. This was NOT the price I was given in the store. The fabric I chose was nothing special, but it was $400 MORE than the fabric furnished on the basic model. By the time La-Z-Boy Gallery had finished fleecing me, the price had risen to over $1,500. Even arm and headrest covers are not included in this ridiculous price. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME WITH THIS OUTFIT, and I truly hope this expensive chair will last a few years till I finally expire with COPD, the reason for buying this chair in the first place. I need it for sleeping. I hope these people can sleep after fleecing me like that.
From the moment I walked into the showroom on June 2 I knew I was going to have a fantastic experience. I was greeted by Kaye Rainey who asked how she could help. I explained that I was new to the area and that I needed to furnish my new apartment. My top priority was seating for my living room and sunroom.She explained the differences in the foam inserts in the sofa cushions as she discerned what styles I preferred. Not once did I feel rushed or pushed to choose one sofa over another. I actually was distracted when I saw two chairs that I thought would be perfect for my sunroom. From there I found the perfect sofa! Kaye explained the differences in the sofa consoles. Since I often am working on my laptop, having the electrical outlets and USB connections built in are perfect. She also explained the different fabric protections and how they work.As we were choosing different fabrics she explained how the design service works and that it was free!! Since my living room, sunroom and dining room flow together she helped me choose fabrics that were complimentary. She introduced me to the designer, Billie, during this visit. An appointment was set for Billie and Kaye to come and measure where the furniture would be placed to make sure my choices would fit. On that visit I had chosen the seating, entertainment console and accent tables for the living room and sunroom. I was so thrilled with the service I had received on that first visit I told Kaye I would love to come back to purchase my dining room furniture at a later date.The room measurements were taken and my showing was set for the following Saturday. When I arrived for my appointment Kaye mentioned she had located a dining room set that had chairs that I would love, but they were being closed out. However if we could get them they were at a very good price.Billie presented her computer generated rendering of what my furniture would look like in my apartment, no guess work!! She made some great recommendations for lamps, a mirror for the dining room and even incorporated an oil painting I had purchased in New Mexico in the room design. I didnt leave empty handed that day, I left with my design on a magnet that I could share with my friends and place on my refrigerator.My furniture was delivered yesterday. Kaye was there to assist with placement and set up. I didnt have to do a thing. She even came with two surprises: special cookies from her favorite bakery and my lamps that we were not expecting until later in August!!I couldnt be happier with my purchase! I can truly say that La-Z-Boy is more than just recliners!!
Our sales representative was extremely knowledgeable in the various fabrics and options available. He took the time to listen to what we were trying to decide on based on our situation. He answered all of my questions and explained my concerns. He was patient in tolerating my children who were flopping on the furniture.
Linda Parker was such a pleasure to work with! My fiancé and I bought our first house for our first home and she made us feel like we had been customers of Lazboy for years. She went above and beyond to help us design our dream couch. We will definitely be back in the future!
We dealt with Joe at this store. Everything he said happened. My husband and I are not a fan of delivery, and Joe assured us that delivery would go perfect. To our surprise Everything happened just as he said it would. They called the day before with our delivery window. Called 30 minuets before they were actually going to be there. The delivery guys came in with chair put it together and were on their way. That was at 12:30pm. Around 4pm a woman from Lazyboy called to make sure our delivery went well and if we liked our new furniture. I would definitely buy more things from this store in the future. It’s hard to find a place that will actually do what they say they are going to do. Lazyboy did that just that.
4 stars for friendly and showed us many choices that would meet our current needs however I would give only 2 stars due to the fact it reminding me a little of shopping for a new car when it came down to the money. Could only offer a certain discount before needing to speak with a manager. If you are able to offer a discount please just list it as the sale price. I guess it depends on how much commission your sales person is striving to receive. Is there a Kelly Blue Book for Laz-Boy?
Just went in with my wife who is pregnant to purchase a recliner for her. After walking around the store for 15 minutes and looking around and being passed and looked at by the employees who never spoke or asked did I need help with anything we left. Customer service here is very poor. I guess people in evans really are stuck up!!! Funny thing is we planned to purchase with cash and take home today but we will never come back here or recommend this place to anyone we know. Discrimination is in full affect here!

2022-01-03The Sales and Designer staff at our Evans, Georgia store have gone above and beyond to assist us as we select furnishings for our new home. Kristen, our sale associate, is always very quick to respond to our questions and has really helped us along the way. Jennifer, our Design Consultant did a fabulous job capturing our style! I absolutely recommend anyone looking for furniture go here first. So much furniture is so cheaply made, but not the furniture they sell at Lazy Boy. Great furniture, great staff, and they will work with you as much as they can on pricing.

She was very attentive in our desire to find the right recliner and also very personable as we considered style, decor, and the right match. We can’t wait to get our recliner! Our only disappointment was having to wait til summer to receive our chair.

I had picked out a rather expensive rug that I thought would fit in a certain area and after I got home and did some measurements of my on it was going to be larger than was needed. I ordered one afternoon and by the next more I asked to cancel and they said not possible. I could see maybe if I had waited and the order was shipping already but I was told they will not ship for 6 months. Covid issue they say. Not sure why virus would effect furniture.

2022-05-18My solid wood tables came in damaged on 5/14/22. It took about 3 months to receive my order and was disappointed in the condition of this furniture.from the manufacturer. My sale representative never called me back about my complaints but was told by the store’s operator to contact customer service. Did not receive a receipt from the delivery. The delivery guys said it would be emailed to me. Have not received it yet. The form to complete for customer service was not user friendly and I Iost what I typed. There is no way to save. The form gives you a list of charges toI only this furniture a few days. Should not have to pay high dollar for furniture that was damaged when delivered from the manufacturer..

2022-04-05If I could give them negative stars I would. We spent almost $5000 on a sectional with insurance about 7 months ago and a corner of the piping is fraying. They tell us there’s nothing they can do for us. This is crazy. The warranty company says Lazboy should fix it. They will but they say I have to pay for it. A product that’s supposed to be good quality should not wear or fray in 7-8 months and the boy get any help from anyone other than you can pay for it.
