Food was good. Ice water was very good. Waiter was very pushy...rushing us to look at a menu at a place we had never eaten. They closed at 11 but were trying to rush us out the door starting at 10:30.
This place is HANDS DOWN the best Mexican food I have ever had. They are wonderfully friendly and accommodating and the drinks are INSANELY good (and big!). Seriously, if youre in the area - STOP BY - you wont regret it!
I was served RAW chicken. I will not be back! They were not sympathetic to the fact that I had already eaten several bites…and could possibly be sick tonight. They grabbed my plate before I could take a picture…the server ran over as soon as he saw me spit out my food and pick up my phone for a picture. Must happen a lot, please check your food before it goes out!!!!
Everything was delicious. Our server was attentive and the orders came out correct. I ordered the build your own combination plate. I had a Beef Buritto, Supreme Taco and Beef Enchilada. We order the Nachos Fajitas Texas with steak, chicken and shrimp. The chips and salsa were average. The Texas Margarita was well made and delicious.
It was better the first time my family and I were there. The presentation of the food was not up to par my pork fajitas were scorch ,burnt. Maybe our last time going we will discuss it as a family
I order using door dash just about 2-3 times a week from here. My family absolutely loves there food. Being a full time working mom and with my boys in sports I don’t have much time to make a good home cooked meal every day and Margaritas is my spot for realHome style authentic Mexican food. Their carne asada plate is so delicious and their Chile Colorado plate as well. I highly recommend their restaurant. You won’t regret it.

Slow service even though they had 3 people on staff standing talking. Food presentations were terrible. One plate looked like barf thrown on the plate. We ordered a large $11.95 guacamole dip that was supposed to be made by the waiter at the table. He brought it out from the kitchen and it was in no way a large portion. The floors were dirty and leftover wadded up napkins on booth seats. Food tasted just ok. Have had much better. We walked in with high expectations and left disappointed. We wont be back! 2 stars is being generous!
Ordered a Doordash run from here. The Wife and kids wanted tacos. Ordered a few orders of steak tacos, 2x large salsa, large guacamole, 2x of the Texas dip. Sent a single bag of chips......I order 5 items that require chips. Come on people!
Food normally real good been a few times .everyone has help wanted signs up I understand .we got seated right away took a quick drink order 1 coke 2 waters and we will order drinks from the bar. My wife just stepped in the restroom to wash her hands .we ate nachos could not make eye contact with anyone 2 people by the bar waited 35 min threw a $5.00 bill on the table and left other people that came in after us got served. Not one person asked how it was or thank you for coming in.
If I could give Las Margaritas 10 stars, I would. There are simply not enough stars to describe how delicious and authentic their food is. The menu has all of your favorites and they are so accommodating that if it isnt on the menu, they would probably find a way to make it for you anyway. Fresh food, terrific service and always friendly faces. Bring your appetite and your love of mariachi music. Hands down my family’s favorite restaurant in Barrow County.
The best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in barrow county. Friendly people and amazing ambiance. Serenaded with feel-good music and the smells of delicious and freshly cooked food. I highly recommend Las Margaritas for anyone who is looking for a place to eat.

We are regulars at Las Margarotas and go weekly! The staff is awesome and the food is great! Liquor selection is optimal and they have tons of flavors of margaritas to choose from!

I like this place. The food is tasty and the staff is great. I dont know if it is authentic Mexican food but it tastes good to me. The price for my wife and and I including alcohol is quite reasonable.
Slow to table service, though LOTS of staff.... like three... standing at the hostess stand most of our meal. Our waiter was nice. But for the price, the portions were not good and when the Texas Rice, which was my entree, arrived, it looked like it was thrown together on the plate by a three year old. It tasted ok, a little more bland than something I would expect to have Texas in its name. Salsa was flavourful, tableside guacamole wasnt made at OUR table, but rather at a station in the dining room ....? It was good, a little heavy on the lime, but the ingredients were very fresh. For the money, not a good value, especially when there are at least 5 other Mexican restaurants in A ten mile radius.
Everyone at our table got their food, except for my girlfriend. By the time her food came, we were all done eating. They gave us $5.70 discount on what was an $8.99 order, but he played it off like hers was $13.99. We wont be back. El Real, or Senior Tequila will get our business from now on.
It was very busy. Server forgot to put in one of the orders. Once I asked for the check it took just over 20 minutes just for that.Food was decent. I would go back

The food was great...we first had their food as a delivery order a few days ago and we loved it. We also truly enjoyed the food again last night.The reason for the 1 star deduction was for the actual experience that we had while at the restaurant...due to their card payment system being down, making them unable to accept any card payments.Now, I do understand that situations arise and things happen beyond our control...however, the way that this was handled caused a great inconvenience for us.We were directly told about the card payment situation as we were being handed the bill for our meal, when I began pulling out my card to pay.They tried to tell us that the system had ...just gone down, just now..., which I knew was completely false, because Id heard the other server tell the table across the patio from us--we were dining outside--about the issue, which was long BEFORE the server that we had started to take our meal orders...by atleast 10-12mins!Instead of telling us about this issue BEFORE we placed our main order--wed only had drinks and chips at this point--they just let it ride. Which, in the end, caused US to have to deal with the issue!Because, in order to pay for our meal, my son and I were told to walk across the parking lot to the ATM located in the middle of the parking lot, at 10p at night to pull out CASH...😑

Service was poor - the waiter did not check in with our table nor any of the rest of the outdoor tables attentively. He would leave stretches at a time. Prices for items were not communicated as some item prices are not on the restaurants menu - leaving us with a bill that was not expected. I highly do not recommend going to this location and I will not be back.

Absolutely wonderful food! Everything was delicious and prepared fresh. My hats off to the chef and the wonderful attentive staff. I am so happy to see a restaurant of this quality and caliber in the area. They have great options for the meat lover as well as the health conscious vegetarian. I will definitely be visiting as often as possible.
Food is mediocre at best and staff is not very friendly. We placed a huge order to go and they gave us 1 bag of chips for 2 large orders of queso. We went back in to get an extra bag of chips and the manager argued with us saying he already put enough in our order. Bad experience more than once. Probably wont return.

1.. My Host was very attentive the later afternoon I was there 5/17(sorry I dont remember his name)2.. The 32oz margarita was one of the BEST I have had in a very long time, too big I couldnt finish 1/2 of it...3.. Their in house handmade guacamole was the best I have had in Ga. with out me fixing it.I see why this restaurant was boted #1 in alot of their food / business!Thank you for the experience of YUM!2 THUMBS UP 👍👍

Never been here before but stopped here recently while road tripping. The food was AMAZING! I got the margarita bowl, the Mexican corn on the cob (Not sure what the official name is) and some churros! Nothing disappointed! And the customer service was great aswell!The margarita bowl was so delicious, everything was cooked perfectly!I normally don’t leave reviews but it was THAT good! If you’re thinking about stopping here DO IT!

Picked up food to go from this establishment. I ordered $40 worth of food which included 3 cheese enchiladas and the chorichanga. When I arrived home and got into the food the enchiladas ended up being chicken instead of cheese and the chorichanga had no chorizo on it. I called the restaurant and they asked if I could come back and they would fix the issue, I explained that I was now 20 minutes away and asked if they could take my name down instead. They took my name and said they would take care of it the next time I came by. 2 weeks later (this past Sunday) I called and told the girl who answered and said they took my name down and were going to replace my food and she said no problem so I put in a to go order when I was leaving publix. I also ordered a few other things I was going to pay for. When I arrived the food was ready and she rang it up and it was double what I was expecting. I told her I had called 15 minutes before and they said they had my name. She said yes and I gave you 5% off. I was like oh I was under the impression they were replacing it. She told me that the manager wasnt there and that I would have to talk to he/she to have it replaced. I said I already did that when I called in when the food was messed up originally but ok, ill talk to them again. She just stared at me and finally said the manager isnt here right now, they will be back in 15 minutes. Of course I had frozen food in the car and couldnt wait so I told her that. She literally just stared at me. Needless to say I left without food and will not be returning. Its sad because I spent $40 twice a month at this place.
They have great salsa and cheese dip. Their skinny margaritas are amazing. I had the fajita burritos and they were so good. This is one of our favorite places to eat.
Very expensive Mexican restaurant. I ordered 2 Margaritas not realizing they were $12 & the cheese dip was $9. Small portion size for fajitas. Front doors were open to outside and people were smoking so the whole restaurant smelled like smoke. Wont be back.
We had homemade guacamole, esquite, and two drinks. Super good! Alex was a good server. Margarona was strong & delicious. Will go back to try the entrees.

This has become our new Mexican food place. They have a variety of options and delicious food. The service has always been great too. Me and my wifes family go all the time. I highly recommend it.

Im having a hard time writing this review but I feel like I need to let people know what to expect. Ive been here twice. This first time I got a taco that came with a hard shell, beef, cheese and lettuce. Okay, fine, I didnt ask for it a different way but I was really hoping for some actual Hispanic food. The next time I asked for corn tortilla, steak, cilantro, and lime, a typical Hispanic taco. I got it and it was good, however afterwards I saw that there was a $3 upcharge for it. They never told me that and there is nothing on the menu about it. Also aparently if you get chorizo on anything its also a $2 upcharge.Tldr: Food isnt bad. Watch for upcharges that are not on the menu and that you wont be told about.
We came in on a spur of the moment decision, and it was the best decision we could have made! We had sopes for an appetizer which were amazing! The Seafood Poblano and Chori Changa we had for our entrees were incredible and had so much food, and were also very affordable. We topped it off with churros and ice cream, which was a perfect finish to the delicious meal. The service was outstanding, and everyone was polite and welcoming. I am looking forward to returning here soon!

Good service. Tacos are tasteless. I have tried it twice now and both times the grilled chicken and steak tacos are poorly seasoned and dry.

The truth is the service was good but the food was not. The meat was very dry and I ordered a corn and they put cream on it when Im used to all restaurants putting mayonnaise on it. And it was expensive too.
I give them 2 stars because we bought a dish called Texas and Rice, the price initially was not bad because it included several types of meat but, when the dish arrived at the table it looked like a small Kids meal type plate and more sauce of cheese that contained in protein the bed or rice base that it had was a small amount so the price is very expensive for what it contains additionally we bought a corn this although it is not expensive should have brought more cheese and cream The presentation was not the best but it was not bad and finally the sodas from the fountain do not have enough gas and it feels and tastes like old sodas, the service of the person who attended us was a bit bad, not very friendly, there was no contact visual with her and it was noticeable something annoying. we hope to return and change the opinion in addition to the rating here in google.

2022-04-25We have had one of the most amazing service, The server that provided us with his service his name was Juan He was an amazing person! And kept checking back with us to make sure we were doing ok. Amazing Service! Went above and beyond! The food was amazing full of flavor and on the menu there plenty of variety to choose from too! 2022-05-28I can’t say enough how good the food is here. They exceeded my expectations with their quesabirria tacos!! Everything was so delicious and the strawberry mango margarita is the best I had thus far. Thank you Las Margaritas Mexican Restaurant for your welcoming customer service and amazing food and drinks. 2021-10-13We placed an order for chicken with nachos on the side and sauted vegetables (3 orders) to go. Got there to pick up the order and the guy standing at the order desk didnt care to acknowledge me. I found the checkout window, paid and asked for my order. The guy didnt care to bring the order up, instead he pointed to the 3 bags at the bar. So, I walked over and got my orders. The restaurant was empty with only 2 couples dining in. There was no reason why I couldnt have customer service.Got home just to see that the order was wrong. We got a splash of chicken on a tray full of chips, no sauteed vegetables (onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and jalapeño) and still chips on the side. We paid $33 for a splash of chicken and a whole lot of chips.We called the store about the order being incorrect. Instead of having the issue resolved, the rep argued and said its food. He did not apologize for the error on their part. He did not offer to fix the order nor give our money back. We will NEVER order or dine here. The customer service was horrible. The telephone communication was horrible and the food portion and ability to place a correct order was horrible. We will be sure to let the rest of our community know about the very poor customer service from this store. This was not the first time we encountered this issue at this store.

2022-04-09I ordered 2 ground beef super tacos and the ground beef special nacho. I’m going to blame the terrible tasting ground beef for how awful my meal was. I couldn’t even eat it. That was $35 down the drain. I’m willing to give this place another try because the service was great. I also had a margarita which was wonderful.I gave it 2 stars because of how terrible my food was.

2021-02-02I’ve reviewed this place before, but I just can’t help myself. We’ve been back a bunch and we just love it here. We can’t say enough about the food and we look forward to it every time we go. They never disappoint. The guac cart they bring to your table to make you fresh guac is really cool and and tasty. Also, if you haven’t tried Molcajete then it’s an absolute must in your future. The pineapple fajitas are fantastic too, and the margaritas are 🤤.
