I’d be lying to call this a just gas station Mediterranean restaurant. It just wouldn’t be right. It’s awesome. Rice cooked perfectly, chicken kabob flavorful, hummus on point and I don’t really like tabouleh but it was tasty.Definitely recommend.Covid car park pick nick. Yum.
First time here 👋This place is exceptional👍👍I got excited to try their food from the very first moment I walked in because the guy at reception is very welcoming.I got a steak kabob plate, lentil soup & grilled salmon plate. It’s very delicious I was very pleased 😊🤤The steak quality is excellent, lots of taste & very tender. The salmon is very tasty and I could tell it’s a very good quality salmon. The lentil soup is very tasty, fresh & REAL..! Not like other placesThank you guys for the good food 👋👍
This was one of the best Mediterranean restaurants you can find in Atlanta. I eat Koobideh kabobs in many places before and I am familiar with all factors that a tasty kabob should have. Its just some times that I would say this Koobideh kabob is A+ and there is no flaws. However, I would say Lavash has A+ kabobs and its completely better than the other Mediterranean restaurants I met in Atlanta. It was clear from the smell and the appearance of Kabob that they use the best meats and ingredients. The chief has years of experience in making Mediterranean foods and thats why youll fly after the first bite. He is also so friendly and kind. I really enjoyed talking to them during my visit. They provided great service and food as well and thats all you need from a restaurant. The price is also reasonable. We also tried one of their special stew with salmon. It was awesome and so delicious. It was a little bit spicy and I liked it.They also have Uber Eats so you can just order your food and theyll deliver for you. I am so happy that I found this place and I would highly recommend it.
This place is excellent. Yes, it is situated right next to a convenience store at a Chevron station. (But it only shares one wall.) The food reminds me of street falafel, but done really tasty. I had the Greek salad, falafel, hummus, pita. I *WILL* go back again. (I dont think they had a bathroom.)
Great food, got the lamb gyro. Hot & Fresh food. The menu was a little complicated/perplexed because the lowered priced items was on the bottom right corner.Usually a menu has the app prices/small plates in the far left or the beginning of the menu.I ordered something prior to that which was like $14 but didn’t realize there were cheaper items on the right; immediately cancelled and ordered the gyro.Cheaper is usually to the left. A small little corner.Richer is the entire menu.
The food is great! Portions used to be good for the price but they have gotten smaller. I can deal with those things because the food is so great. But I can pass on the customer service. I called to make an order (instead of ordering through an app like UberEATS, DoorDash GrubHub etc.) because it takes a portion of the restaurants profit. The young lady Ebonee answered and and put me on hold without a greeting. While on hold I listened to her talk about her birthday, traveling and everything. She got back on the phone and said hello and immediately hung up before I could make a sound. I called back and was immediately hung up on on, called again and the link be was busy (which is expected bc they are always busy). I called again was able to place my order(yes I was persistent and shouldve given up but Lavash has the best Mediterranean Ive tasted in this area, especially for the in prices). I picked up my food and after I paid and opened my food to eat on my way home I noticed that the salad had gotten even smaller. Generally it wouldve fine but the customer service made me feel like I was robbed and given scraps. Be careful who you employ, you will run repeat customers away!!
I had the Chicken Soulaki with a Greek Salad. Now honestly, I didnt care for their Greek Salad but thats just me; however the chicken was seasoned to perfection! It was very flavorful that I wished I had two of those forget the salad, smile. Lavash is a very small restaurant its in the same lot as a gas station and I initially drove past it so keep your eyes pilled if youve never been. Definitely plan to return when Im in the area.
Always a great meal! Anytime of the day, and no matter who is working, it’s always a great atmosphere and quality food.Checking in today 4/9/21 and will probably be back at least twice before the weekend is over.Everything is tasty, especially the shawarma and of course the traditional chicken kabob is amazing. And if you’re vegan, there are options as well.
Don’t worry I’m contacting the OWNER about this matter too.I ordered with Uber Eats, this restaurant who is in affiliation with Uber Eats and using them and is a third party of Uber Eats, tells me they cannot contact /communicate with Uber Eats nor refund me . When I never received my order. Now in the past as Uber Eats is not a new app, restaurants have been able to communicate and give refund. In fact Uber eats says contact the restaurant for a refund. Now in fact if this is not currently the case of policy method. The restaurant employee could’ve been more adamant about being proactive in a solution. Good customer service would’ve atleast came at an understanding standpoint of someone not getting their order. It’s not what you do it’s how you do it, and lacking to even care is ridiculous. Yet the restaurant apparently claims they cannot at all do these things that customer service re iterated they could. What business or restaurant partners with a company they have no communication with. This is a lie. They have horrible customer service and in fact I am disappointed at my own local neighborhood restaurant. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I’ve just left the restaurant and still sitting in the parking lot. I hardly leave reviews but had to with this one. Customer service can only be described as LAZY at best. Hardly received a greeting and young lady was not that knowledgeable about the menu. I waited outside as to not get the grill/oil smell on my clothes and was never notified that my order was ready (sitting outside in the patio furniture facing the restaurant). Young lady seemed totally disinterested (by her phone) and as I said , not very knowledgeable about the menu. That said, the food smells AMAZING (and was recommended by a friend who said it was GOOD)...will update once I taste it. I hope it’s good because my first experience here wasnt the best....I remain hopeful! :)
They are rude and out of kobbdeh.Non of the employees wear a mask or gloves.Put and order for chicken wrap, waited out side, one of the employees went outside for a cigarette and a phone call came back and never bothered to wash his hands.Took my order back home, through it in the garage. What a waste of money and food. They are ruining the middle eastern food and hospitality. Zero stars for this one.
The Chicken Kabob Salad I had was AMAZING! The chicken was tender, juicy & well seasoned! The salad was fresh and crisp. The dressing added even more flavor than I imagined! It was my first time ordering and I am now a new regular guest. I could not stop eating! Even after I was full!
Awesome food. The hummus is amazing and the gyros are great! Cant get enough of that cucumber sauce! Docking one star for the slow service (probably due to a lot of to-go orders) and sketchy area. The food is worth the wait, but dont come here if youre in a hurry. Probably will do Door Dash or other delivery next time instead of going in person
I really tried to like this place but after visiting twice, I will not return. Both times I ordered food I felt like I wasted my money. The food is over priced and not good. The first time I ordered lamb kabob, went home and noticed I was given beef instead of lamb. I waited about a year before returning. I had a taste for gyro and was visiting the gas station next door and decided to give it another go. This time I ordered gyro salad and it was extremely over cooked. Most pieces were so over done that it was broken apart. By the way I paid over $20 times which is way over priced for salad both times just to be disappointed.
When you first walk in they have a warm bubbly presence. The menu is very easy well to ready. When I placed my order they were so quick to get my order out. The food is the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in a while. The flavors and the presentation is done so well. I will definitely be eating here on a regular basis
Wouldn’t recommend this place by any means. The food was terrible completely subpar for the price. The gyro meat was extremely dry, my mom bit down on a pit in an olive (they do not address this on the menu), and the customer service is nonexistent. When I spoke with the worker about this, he was very rude at the start. When answering the phone there wasn’t a greeting, and when I told him about the issue he was snarky and dismissive. Your customers are your bread and butter for your business and they should be treated this way regardless. We will not be back!
They are open even during the crisis! The Food is still excellent as usual. Fresh ingredients and an extensive variety of Mediterranean food. This will be my go to especially during these trying times. Come and give them a try, I know the grocery store gets tiring and we appreciate the fact they are still open for business.
First time eating here and I must say that the food here was so delicious! Very fresh and tasted just like it was homemade. This place is great for fast food that is truly healthy at the same time, very good sized portion, and best value for what you get. You cant go wrong with anything you pick on their menu, as they all look delicious. I will definitely be sure to come back to try them all.
Hands down one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Atlanta. Healthy, fresh, and homemade is their sign and they stick true to it. The food has always been fresh, healthy, with the best quality. Besides that, the staff is very friendly, and it is a great environment to have lunch or dinner. Take out orders are always on time with no mistakes unlike other places. I recommend this to everyone as they have a perfect dish for every taste.
Outstanding foodThe closest Mediterranean home made food equivalent to my mother and Lebanese grandma! I am so tired to find Mediterranean food that looks like solid, not tasty, or blend. This place use olive oil, good garlic, correct spices!!!!!! Their food is not stuffy. It is elegant to the palate.Their babaganoush, labney, hummus, falafel and scharwarma are to die for. Portions are correct, well packaged.Their pita is not the elastic one that you find in so many places , this is the soft warm one. This is a good we enjoy has it good with our diet ( there baklawa must me be delicious but I have not tested it yet, may be on one of my cheat day).I enjoy their orders never missed or forgot a dish!!!!!!!!Hands done, one of my favourite food, restaurant to order from. There is a nice man that picks up the phone when there is a question!
I am a uber driver. I had a pick up there today. So, i walk in and of course stood at the counter. No hello, how are you are doing today i mean nothing. Just an attitude of resentment. From the African American male employee behind the counter not only directed towards me but also, towards the other African American couple that shortly came in after me. He acted As if he didnt want us there. But I could care less, because i would NEVER dine there. It was a total dump and smelled like an old mop. Oh, and the two cooks, were clearly Not, interested in practicing food safety at all. At the end of the day, If you enjoy receiving rude service and food poisoning for dinner. This is your place YIKES!!!
Great place! Small place. Usually small places are good places with great food. Same here. Great selection of food with the usual stuff like Hummus and Pita. We took the combo of rice, chicken and beef kababs. Succulent. Yes, that is the word for it. The chicken was juicy! I usually dont like the rice but I loved it here. Nice, flaky and soft. Will certainly go here again. Sunday after church!
If youre in the mood for quick, homemade Mediterranean food, Lavash has really delicious options for both healthy eaters and those who want a filing meal. Their lentil soup and shirazi salad is delicious and the grilled chicken kebab or gyro is so tasty as well! Love coming here because their customer service is so welcoming. The first time I visited was while visiting friends in the city but Im definitely coming back. Not too expensive either! :)
Great food and amazing service , we had Lavash cater last minute for my husbands birthday and Persian New Year, food and service was amazing I was so happy to have everything pulled together on such short notice , the guests enjoyed the chicken kabob and the beef kabob with rice, vegetables, humus and salad, menu is great has something for everyone! We loved the food so much we went back the next day for more!
Since we couldn’t celebrate Persian New Year with family this year, we had food from Lavash delivered, and it was a lovely reminder of my mom’s cooking. As a Persian person, I’ve had my fair share of kabobs, and these were very good. We got the Soltani dish, which comes with one skewer of chicken kabob and one of koobideh (ground beef kabob). If you’re looking for takeout/delivery food during this time, I highly recommend trying Lavash!
We were out of town on business and this place was close to our hotel and they were on grub hub. If you are in Atlanta, you MUST go here!! It was hands down the best hummus I have ever tasted in my life. We also got the chicken shawarma plate and it was incredible. The staff is unbelievably friendly and we were warmly greeted. Food is cooked right across the counter, you can see the freshness, its hard to find this! Wish I could take the place back home with me. 10 stars!!!
Lavash is the best Mediterranean restaurant in town hands down! All you other restaurants could take a note or two or three... I digress, but back to my review. From the excellent service to the delicious fresh food cooked to order. Simply put you cant go wrong eating here, whether youre looking for something healthy yet filling, or just something tasty to satisfy your tastebuds. I cant say enough about this place, except that this my new go-to spot for Mediterranean food even if I have to drive 30 miles out of my way.Manny
The Salmon plate and Sirloin kabob are my and my hubbys favorite! The pita is warm and fresh and the baklava is to die for. Discovered this place on Uber eats and now it’s my favorite Mediterranean spot. The staff is super friendly, the prices are extremely reasonable, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious.
This was TERRIBLE! THE MEAT TASTED BURNT. There was very little flavor besides burnt. The lamb kebob meal was missing all of the vegetables promised on their menu and when we called them to find out where they were they told us that it doesnt come with vegetables, despite what their menu clearly says. The rest of the food was bland and the lady on the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE.We got food here because it seemed like a great deal. It was overpriced grill leftovers!I dont know how much they must pay to get good ratings on grub hub when I have yet to see a good review....
Crispy, overcooked and flavorless gyro meat served on a doughy slab of flour. If there was any other flavor it was completely overwhelmed by the massive amount of onion and lack of any other ingredient. All that to say, $12 for a tiny sandwich? Dont ever waste your money here
This place has the best Mediterranean food in Atlanta. It’s all 100% fresh and amazing. My wife and I go at least once a month for lunch.I love Mediterranean food and have eaten at all the go to spots in Atlanta and nothing compares to this. Cafe Agora is a close second. When you go, I highly recommend the babaganoush, labneh, and shirazi salad. Those are staples I order every time. Their babaganoush is the best I’ve ever had.I live a little far away for this to be a weekly go to, but if I lived close I’d be there at least once a week.
I’ve been there a few times. I usually get the doner wrap and a Greek side salad bc I don’t want rice or fries. It costs about $11. Yesterday, I ordered the same. It was $16+. The guy told me that the doner was $9+ and the salad was $5+. The menu offers a side with the doner wrap. I’ve always been able to sub w/a salad. To add insult to injury, the wrap is different from before and the Greek salad does not taste like before. I’m guessing they’ve change ownership. They should change back. I did not enjoy my food.
I arrived early at my barbers appt. (Grandview Ave.) so decided to get some food beforehand. I walked in the place and it was 100°+ degrees inside, just sweltering. There was no way I could eat food in there, it was way too hot. The two poor employees that were working were dripping with sweat, very poor treatment... I wanted to try the food but it was just so hot in there I had to leave. Maybe next time if they have A/C
That Taurus new moon has the counter lady working there on some straight up ATTITUDE. Im sorry...I didint know the kitchen closes at 9:30 pm, the website says 10, we called in at 9:20pm - then the looks and stare downs, dafuq was that about....I mean, you know what Im thinkin. But the food is PHENOMENAL, but chill with the attitude or just tell me you dont want me to come in and I wont.

2022-07-30Ordered the Gryo Sandwich and it was a bit of a disappointment, I like the amount of meat however barely any Sauce which is my favorite part, few tomatoes. Ordered through the phone and didn’t receive a warm welcoming when arriving, perhaps more work on costumer service skills?? Not going back but thanks for trying

2022-08-13This was our first time here and our last. We asked for a gyro platter and we got a kids meal no pita bread just a few pieces of meat with some rice. We paid wayyyyyy to much for this. If your looking for a good gyro platter don’t come here because they don’t have it. We utterly disappointed coming from Chicago our gyro platters have four times of meat as this does. Whoever said it was the best was lying. We had to get food from somewhere else just to be full. If I could give no stars I would

2022-04-22You had me at first sight...The aroma alone was enough but to have you drooling over your plate. I had Salmon over perfectly steamed Basmati rice with onion and lemon. The hot sauce is not just spicy but flavorful. This is a must try and though its my first visit it wont be my last❤️

2021-03-09This review is for takeout only. We placed an order over the phone on a Monday night and it was ready in only 15 minutes! Lavash is attached to a gas station, but don’t let that dissuade you from ordering! The food was great! Here’s what we got:- Hummus ($5.99): Delicious. Wish it came with more than 4 triangles of pita though.- Beef Soltani ($19.99): Very good. The beef and koobideh kabob were both amazing. Pricy, but comes with a lot of meat! Rice was great.- Chicken Shawarma ($13.99): Also delicious! Again, rice was great. We really enjoyed our food and have enough for leftovers for lunch!

2022-06-24We have ordered hummus 3 times, and each time it is put in a styrofoam box that leaks all over everything. We tried it the second and third time in hopes they would pack it better. And they do not. I have called on a many occasions and no one will answer the phone, when they finally do, I go to pick up the food, and the employees are just standing around. Not sure why they could not answer the phone to begin with.

2022-08-17Great tasting food. Restaurant is in the same shopping center as a gas station, although they are totally different businesses. Food portions are generous and good quality ingredients.

2022-09-04Lamb meat was dry and the order was wrong. We ordered 2 salmon wraps only got 1 ordered 3 gyro wraps and got three platters instead and. It was not a great experience since we were ordering for 6 people.
