The long drive up from Florida is worth it several weekends a month to enjoy the best Prime Rib and seafood that you will find! What these folks have done with the place is amazing, and the service is outstanding. We enjoy the visit with friends as much as the food here. Highly Recommended!
Great place to enjoy great fried seafood. Dont be mistaken by the small door entrance of this restaurant ... We were looking for a lace to have dinner on a Sunday with outdoor view and this place was best thing to go... I had the flounder with sweet bake potatoes and my husband the shrimps... I mean big amount of huge shrimps and flounder... That sweet potato was so moisture I havent had never eat such a great way to bake them s one... They have a private area for bigger groups which they recommend to make reservation. Oh and the map is incorrect; it was showing the restaurant 1/2 mile in the fields so you must keep ahead on that same road and you will spot their sign next to a non good looking area of trailers... But keep for 5 more minutes and you will find the place. I has like a small inn reservation area and a lake to fish if next to it. No breakfast neither lunch. Opens 5:00 till 9:00 pm Thursday to Sundays .
Quiet little place tucked away in the country salad bar can use other types of lettuce along with iceberg and not use low-fat or no fat dressings homemade would be better. Entrees were good. The waitress was friendly but a little disorganized. I had to ask three times for two items before I received them

2022-04-11Good food and nice staff. The only complaint I had was the price of the crab legs. They were triple the price. Other than that, its a nice quiet place to eat. Also, there is no cell phone signal.

2021-08-02A perfect place next to the lake to have some really fresh seafood. Homey setting.Must try the fried oysters, fried okra, and the grilled salmon. M-o-u-t-h-w-a-t-e-r-i-n-g.If you are around that area often, chances are youll be a regular. :DService is way better than any other famous restaurant chains. The whole catfish is so fresh and crunchy.Try the big-mate if you want to try most of their seafood.

2019-06-01Good deal. Food was good. Limited grilled selection. No broiled items. They have beer and wine but I missed the sign as it was over by the cash register and I didnt see it till I was almost done eating. Suggest moving the beer sign to under the specials sign.

2019-02-04Service is great. Food comes out hot and delicious. Catfish is my favorite, but fried shrimp is a close second. The salad bar is a real drawing card. It is small but always very fresh. For those who remember the restaurant from the early 2010s, you will be pleased to know that the quality of food and service is back to that standard, I believe.
