The worst food, drink and waitress. I ordered flatbread chicken pizza completely awful only took two bites and sent it back. Ordered the blueberry lemonade drink there was more simple syrup than anything else it supposed to have whiskey never tasted it. Ordered a extra shot of whiskey it tasted watered down. My bill was 58 dollars they charged a facility tax. I parked on the street meter charged me 24.00 for 3 hours. My cousin was finishing his fries the waitress said you can take the fries off but she needed the plate back now. Ask him to take the fries off of it. Never have to go again could only imagine prices when there is a Braves game. We left and went to Three Dollar Cafe to get something to eat.
Came here with my family, forgot my credit card in the bill folder. I called, left a voice mail with on the lost and found line 3 days later no one contacted me. I decided come back to the establishment inperson to inquire. I saw the waitress and she assured me she had found my card and it was checked in the lost and found. 1 hour later NO CREDIT CARD. I spoke with the manager CJ and that didnt helped; he showed zero concern and was very nonchalant towards my credit card disappearing. I became frustrated and he asked security to escort me out. I had a one on one with the security and he actually treated me like a human; apologized and took my number down to folow up if he found it. I honestly like this establishment but one bad apple spoils the bunch. Proper training goes a long way.
If I could give negative stars I would… as a party of 2 who showed up at 8:30 we watched 3 tables 9 individuals in total get served food long before us… our food arrived after 2 hours extreme cold, apparently waiting under a heat lamp… I appreciate the manager attempting to correct the situation by bringing me a salad & comping it but i couldn’t spend another moment waiting for food after I already spent entirely to long here to leave hungry at 11pm on a Thursday night not able to get food on stomach after drinking… I watched all the tables and bar clear out before I received my check… even when I received the check the “comped food & round” were still on the check so I pay and leave to avoid rolling into my 3 hours free parking which still ends up costing me $10 waiting for my card to be returned… imagine spending all of this time & money at an establishment and still leaving hungry.. this was probably my worst Experience and complete turn off of the battery as a whole…
If I could give 0 I would. after waiting in line, they charge you to get in because it’s “fight night.” then you have to wait in line again to get to the upstair bar. then it takes 30 minutes to get an overpriced drink because the bartender (the black hair girl) is too busy making herself shots to serve customers. i wanted to start a tab for myself and my coworkers and they won’t even let me do that. don’t come here
The door greeter was friendly and we were seated promptly, but the waiter didnt know what was/wasnt in stock and didnt serve us anything. He had to come back several times to tell us stuff wasnt in stock. Got us something from the fridge, but had no urgency. Train your staff if youre going to hire inexperienced people, and keep the basics stocked. Out of Bud Light? Seriously? Why are you open?
This was my first time ever coming here, I was with a party of 3. After waiting for 5mins at the door there was no waiter or host to take us to a table So we seated ourselves. We sat at a table and waited for 30mins to finally find someone that could take our order. The waiter tells us there is no open seating and we had to go to the bar to order, we go to the bar and they tell us that they are currently not serving food. I Will never come back again the drinks were horrible and service was even worse.
The ambience is fantastic, and you can tell Braves fans LOVE it! The food is delicious. I ordered the pulled pork sliders, and the cool thing is they use Memphis-style BBQ sauce. I can say since Im FROM Memphis that it is SPOT. ON! 😉 There are big screen TVs everywhere so you can always catch whats going on anywhere youre sitting in the restaurant, and they play great music thats not too loud but audible. The waitress was amazing, checking on me frequently, as any GOOD server should! Ill DEFINITELY be leaving a sizable tip 😊
Really cool space at The Battery! The TV downstairs is huge. Upstairs was closed but must be nice for summer nights. Service was a bit slow. I got a tequila sunrise and it was pretty good. The place seemed pretty empty but of course it was a Sunday night. I would like to come back on a busier night to enjoy.
Went because I heard it was a great place to watch the World Series. They didn’t have enough seats at the bar or tables but told us there was plenty of seating outside. We paid cover and sat outside and they wouldn’t serve us ANY food, only liquor! It was cold outside and we got there early bc we knew it would be crowded. The bar refused to serve us food. They said anyone not sitting at a bar or table could not order food. The group went from 5pm-12am drinking liquor with no food and of course got sick 😏. I get being short staffed but that’s not a good rule, especially when we all paid the same cover charge.
Live! is the perfect party destination, whether its a birthday party or just looking for a fun weekend drinking spot. They have live music on Fridays & Saturdays (usually awesome cover bands), beer pong, HUGE TVs for watching sports, mechanical pull in PBR bar & more. Highly recommend going to Live! next time youre at The Battery. Always a good time!
Dont skimp out when buying tickets to events here (even concerts), pay for parking in advance or youll be paying $30~ and walking roughly a mile (or paying $30~ and paying for rideshare). But, if youre going to splurge on an event, this is a good place to splurge. Its safe, people everywhere, good food and things to do.Keep in mind, youre going to pay too much for any and everything. But, you should expect to in a place like this.
Long wait despite most tables being empty. They dont have a very large selection of food on the menu. And they were out of my first couple of choices. Had to have a burger and fries. Burger was okay but not that great, the fries were cold stale tasting. They also never refilled my drink. Although the Coke was surprisingly somewhat reasonable.
I heard great things about this place and tried to visit last April while visiting Atlanta. when we got there the kitchen was closed. So we chose elsewhere The Yard house was great by the way. While staying near the battery this weekend I knew my first dinner would be here. Running late while traveling I called to see what time the kitchen closed, and was told 10 pm. I arrived at 9:06. I was told last call for the kitchen had been made. What? I was told about some movie ending, and something about getting busy and the manager said to close the kitchen. As a business operator Ive never heard of closing early because you were busy. Which led us going to 3 places before we found a place to eat, which was Goldbergs. It was good but not the dinner I imagined for my kids 17th birthday. We will not attempt another visit.
Visited after leaving a game at the 5th inning. Worst fries I’ve ever had (chewy), mediocre burgers with stale bread, mediocre wings. Wildly overpriced. Drinks okay, do not come for the food. Staff moderately accommodating at best. Will definitely not return, ever. We could not even finish our food.
Fun place especially on a friday/Saturday night. Everyone is having fun. But they need more drinks and liqour options. Also they should mix the music instead of playing only country. Other than that it’s a very fun place to bring you and your friends. Everyone is 21 and up in there so yea
Can you say nasty as heck food. Ordered dip, guac, wings, fish tacos, and nashville chicken. The dip was good but not enough pita bread or chips. The guac i didnt evem tast because the bed of queso it was on was COLD!! Looked like it was straight from a can. The wings had no flavour just sauce. They ran out of ranch and had the nerve to serve it with half 1/4 carrots that were supposed to be the usual 3 to 4 inch celery and carrots. The nashville chicken had NO FLAVOUR. NOT EVEN THE NASHVILLE sauce. It tasted like some regular chicken. I couldnt even cut it, it was so rubbery-like. Ordered a drink and there was something frozen into my ice cube. The place is packed and the waitress was ran thin. So when they come to the table take advantage. Will not ne back to eat. And it took about 10 mins plus to get an ordered drink. Horrible food. If you see fancy food pics, lets hope ot a day some good folks are cooking cause it so flavourless and ordinary. Basic
The area is amazing. There something going on every night which makes it a great night life hang out. We went for a friend’s birthday to Live! It was amazing. There are so many games you can play or simply watch tv on the big screen. If you wanted to come earlier I’m sure you’ll be able to watch the aces play at suntrust park. They have many different restaurants at different dining levels. From antico pasta, to crú wine bar, and Mexican cantinas.
So much FUN!! Sports & Social is a one-of-a-kind sports bar, gaming parlor and social lounge in downtown Atlanta. The two-level space features a 32-foot diagonal high-definition LED screen as a backdrop for social games and activities throughout the venue. Equipped with skeeball, table tennis, shuffle puck, air hockey and a golf simulator, Sports & Social also serves an eclectic menu with plates for sharing, beer cocktails and a well-appointed cocktail menu. Combining the traditional elements of a sports tavern with classic interactive games, Sports & Social is the perfect destination for groups, professionals and all those whose competitive spirit thrives.
Very rude staff. Told we could go in, paid the cover only to find out you have to buy a table. We were hoping to catch the Braves game later that day. When we asked for the cover back they threw us out like we were trash. Actually pushed me out the door and slammed it in our face. Thanks Atlanta for the warm welcome.
We were sat quickly, but the tables were so close together (and yes we are still in Covid-19 times) that we couldn’t even access the chairs comfortably, so we moved to the next table. The hostess said that we could not sit there because it was out of the server’s rotation. After saying that the other table was too close and there wasn’t enough space she again said that the server wasn’t assigned - no offer to reseat somewhere else or adjust the server assignments - just comments on how it would inconvenience the servers. We walked out and didn’t look back. If you want to sit a mere foot away from the next table and want to be treated second to the staff then this is your place otherwise I recommend any of the other dozen restaurants nearby.
It was huge, packed and a fight was on the big screen. We should have reserved a table but we werent aware. I suggest you do if you want a seat and eat. Food looked good. But there wasnt any room to sit or walk around but it was a nice venue. Would definitely go again.
My friends and I did not like our meals at all. We had wings, chicken sandwich, and the fish tacos. The tacos were dry and lacked flavor. The wings were too soggy and the sandwich was not pleasing. We were told that the kitchen lacks, especially in game days. Just our luck, it was a baseball game day. It wasnt that busy though. Understaffed. Forced bartender to be our waitress. She was kind. Lastly, we accepted the 1 hour wait we were told. 15 mins later, our group was called to be seated. We couldnt bring in the slushies we bought during the wait.
Mahi tacos ok. Pork belly burger almost inedible due to awful bun. Chicken avocado sandwich bland. Caramelized onion burger ok. Pork belly nachos eh. Good atmosphere. Ask about beer prices before ordering. Not all sizes covered on menu. 2/4 sets of silverware still had dried up food on them.
The food here was mediocre at best. Service was not super swift either. Everyone at my table ordered fries as sides, all of the fries were cold. We waited for drinks entirely too long--including my friend who ordered a sweet tea. That should have come out first, it came out after the bar drinks. Skip this spot if youre in Battery Park. We chose it because it could seat us quickly, wed rather wait for Yard House next time.
The food is delicious to be a sports bar. Great atmosphere, friendly and well organized staff, several room options, live entertainment, free parking for 4 hours no home game, 2 hrs with a game. Would give 5 stars but was highly disappointed after ordering the meatballs appetizer and receive a piece of garlic bread that was no bigger than my thumb. When I requested more, I was told I got the last piece, they ran out. Wish the waiter had of told be before placing my order because I would of ordered something else. Hard for me to eat anything that that consists of spaghetti sauce with no garlic toast.
We were sat quickly as the restaurant wasnt busy at all. Our waitress didnt come by our table for about 20 minutes after we were seated. Seamed like she was the only one taking orders. It took our food ~30 minutes to come out after we ordered. Food itself was good, but the experience made us not want to come back. Good food, but not worth the wait times due to poor staffing.
This place has so much potential...it is in such a cool area, and with the right management, I think it could thrive. I have come here a few times to watch the games. I had one particular incident that turned me off this establishment completely. My friends and I asked to be seated on the patio. We were informed that it was closed. Mind you, other patrons were seated out there. While leaving after spending our time and money in this establishment, we noticed more patrons were now on the patio. Very strange after being told it was closed. We were highly upset and offended. I hate to make it a race issue but the patrons outside on the patio were a different race. I sincerely hope that was not it but it was mighty strange that the patio area was closed and somehow 4 other parties end up out there.
Lets start with the good: great TVs for sports and extras to do throughout the bar like ping pong, golf simulator and cornhole. The fries are also really good. The bad: the service is as stated in other reviews. Very poor. We sat and waited 15 minutes before some server acknowledged us even to place a simple order for water. I find it hard to believe a place can operate with this little care for customers. The food overall is just above McDonalds quality. The burger is a serious disappointment and you cant even choose how you want the meat cooked. Your choices are medium well or medium well. There are many other places that would be happy to have your patronage to watch sports. Ill be going somewhere else before choosing to revisit.
So. Much. Fun. What a wonderful experience here for the Rose Bowl watch party. The facility was at maximum capacity and the service was still absolutely incredible. Security did a wonderful job with crowd control, the food was good and the drinks werent diluted or poorly made even with a HUGE strain on the bar staff. Highly recommend!
Waited over an hour at the front of the line as over 20 people exited. They let the girls in front come in instantly, yet everyone waiting outside the bar was left out to dry. Used to love Live, but now they just need security that isn’t incompetent. It’s bad management.
I didnt even get to eat here because the service was so awful. All the staff wasnt paying attention most were on their phones. The hostess sat us at a table that wasnt even clean- we ended up just walking out. However very cool place! Hopefully next time Ill actually get to eat there.
The food was great, when we finally got it! We were seated in an area that did not have a server. We waited forever to be served and then it took forever to get our food. The server did take an appetizer off of our bill and we were very glad because it was pretty bad tasting to begin with. At no point during our experience did anyone seem to care. We had to complain to what we thought was a manager but clearly wasn’t because she did nothing. I would not waste my money or time here ever again... unless you have three hours to eat!
Its a solid place to hang out and watch a game. Ive had a handful of experiences where I felt a bit ignored by server but overall its a good spot. At night it turns into a club type place and is connected to PBR next door which is cool because it offers a more upbeat type of experience.
Thought the facility was great. They arent big on customer service. Bartender acted like he didnt want to serve us. Asked a waitress for beer and she said ok and Never came back to help us out. Definitely has the potential to be a 5 star place if they can get their service squared away.
Went by Saturday evening to eat and have some drinks and chose to sit outside, where there wasnt too many people. We waited about 15-20 minutes before I approached a server to ask who would be the one for our table. Her reply was that she would be the one to take care of us and that she would be right with us. 20 more minutes pass by and she never made it to us but she was able to visit the table just down from us to take their picture for the group. Not once did she come to our table.
Great atmosphere, but food & service was below average. We (3 of us) went in during lunch time, the restaurant was petty much empty. We waited almost 15 min for the bartender to come over to our table to take our drink order. Meanwhile the manager was in viewing distance of us, yet she was sitting down, laughing and conversing with other employees. I literally raised my hand to see if someone would help us. We ordered simple food, that took another 20 minutes to get, and the bartender took forever to come refill or drinks. I had to ask for someone else to come assist us before the bartender got the memo that she needed to step up her service. I work at The Battery, so great service wouldve had me coming back consistently, but unfortunately I wont be going back.
Update - Thank you Live @ the Battery for the reply. It is so much more enjoyable playing ping pong a great paddle and heavier balls. I work right across the street so Ill come back for some pong and libations again soon!Based solely on the ping pong, Id say your paddles suck and the ball is about the worst one Ive ever used. You are a multi-million dollar bar conglomerate buying the cheapest quality items available. I came here just to play ping pong, and while I adjusted, it was disappointing. I play multiple times a week and wouldnt recommend a single friend to pay $7 a Coors light simply to hit balls back and forth. The table here is excellent. The torn apart paddles and ball so light it cant be bounced are no doubt bound to drive players back to lesser tables for cheaper drinks with slightly less worse equipment. Other than that, your food is decent, atmosphere lively, and service prompt (most the time).
The only good thing at Live! Is the nachos.Went for Super Bowl Sunday and was scammed out of $50.They advertised a $50 deal that included reserved seating, split app between every two people, 4 drinks, and an entree. Upon arrival they gave us 4 drink tickets, made sense for how we thought the deal was going to work. But when it was time to leave they told us it was a $50 credit toward your bill. We had two tables and our group talked with the manager, the security guard even came over and laughed because he knew the manager and advertising was the problem (see image for the deal we thought we were getting). I’ve been burned once before by this bar and know this will be the last time. There are better options at The Battery for drinks that aren’t watered down and food that has taste.
Went on a game day. We had to wait 30 minutes for drinks and an hour for drinks. When we got our wings, we asked for dipping sauce. After 10 minutes, we went to ask the manager for sauce. He brought them and slammed them down without a word. The waitress then got mad at us for talking to the manager, cried, then transferred us to another table. The manager and waitress both need to find a new field of work
The atmosphere is really cool with huge tv inside. We sat outside after asking hostess and she handed us menus since its first come first serve outside. We waited for 10 min before I gave up and went to bar for drinks. We waited for service....Im still waiting here at table. Went back to bar for another round. I guess we will not get to order since servers seem selective on who they want to serve outside so I cant review the food. Its been 45 min. A dirty table wasnt cleaned for 30 min next to us and was only cleaned bc another customer wanted to sit there and complained for waiting for someone to come by and clean....it was dishes from my table that was sitting there on our table for who knows how long. After this beer we are leaving to eat elsewhere. We got here at 11:10 with hardly anyone here to give perspective. Bartender was fast and great...name is Justin. Servers are too busy not doing anything but talking and walking around. Whole time Im thinking come to my table...I have money. Serious manager issues not attending to lazy servers. Worst experience ever. Dont come here and expect any service unless you sit inside.
This place has such a great atmosphere, i love coming here for big games and sporting events. The venue itself is awesome, there are two stories, ample room. Outside patios as well. Inside theres foosball, beer pong, that arcade game where you roll the ball into the holes; theres a huge TV surrounded buy like 20 smaller but still pretty big TVs. Theres usually always a DJ that gives away tons of stuff, and a fog machine that I think is annoying, but most people like. The food is great, and the drinks are really good too, I love the wings, theyre seasoned really well and are usually my go to food here. You cant go wrong with this spot for any sporting event.
The staff could care less if you’re in there as they would not acknowledge us sitting there waiting for service. They told us they weren’t serving food upstairs, but apparently they would do it for some people as we watched them get it. The manager seemed annoyed that we brought the service problem to her attention. Also, the Main large TV is broken and needs repair. We left without being served. I will never go back there again. We were treated just fine in a neighboring restaurant.
Pros: atmosphere and TVs.Cons: food, it’s just ok. Reminded us of cookout just twice the priceService is pretty bad. Had to get our own drinks at the bar and the server left us for 20 minutes to roll silverwareDrink are also bad. Don’t order the 45oz drinks there are 4 shots in them (I used to be a bartender so I know how to count pours). The bartender admitted that it’s “basically juice”.Overall too many options in the area to settle for this
First time here at the battery.. Our sever name was Morgan in Tavern attitude was terrible... we got seated pretty fast before our server even introduced herself to us we sat here for 30 mins and it took another 45 to an hr for our food to come out DRINKS ARE WATERED DOWN. The whole hour and half of being in here we have seen out server 4 times at the most!!!
Im having a hard time believing all the negative reviews. The staff Ive dealt with has been very friendly and helpful. Most of my interactions have been with bar tenders but they always serve me quickly. One bar tender even went down stairs to get me a beer that wasnt at her bar. I live in the area and Ive been to this place over 10 times and havent had a single bad experience.
Sitting here now actually. VERY slow service. I understand they are busy... maybe they should plan for it!! It’s game day Live and the Bulldog game. There are too many good places in the Battery to even worry about coming back here. We are finishing our food and heading out...first time here and will be my last!!
To start, 3 of the 4 hosts at the host stand were more interested in their phones than in greeting us. When someone finally looked up at us, we were told that we could sit in the bar area, “just find a spot.” When we walked through the bar area, EVERY table had a “reserved” sign on it, and there was no seating available anywhere. We went back to the host stand, and were told that all the tables are reserved to keep people from seating themselves. In the area where we were JUST told to seat ourselves. The host then wanted us to wait for her to help everyone else, before she sat us, so we left. Very poor first impression, and we’re not likely to go back.
For a meal, fine. But for a function, not the best as there is too much going on between announcements, tv and music. Also, the music is always incredibly loud to the point I leave feeling like I was at a nightclub. The drinks are very expensive and the food is not fabulous.
It was super crowded due to the NFL final playoff games. There was not a seat open in the house upstairs or down. People were allowed to just stand around in droves. My issue was if youre going to let that many people in, then dont allow them to hover over the bars so that those standing can get something ordered as well. There should have been a fire code against all of these people. It cant just be about the money because we couldnt even order anyting. So if it was to allow people to come in and enjoy the game then thats a nice gesture. I think on that note, there should be a limit to enter.
Went to Live at the Battery Atlanta, Food was okay, I ordered Nachos with no meat they came to the table with chicken I had to send them back and the waiter acted as if he was doing me a favor in serving them with chicken.. Sorry bu no you wasnt, I dont eat chicken!! When the nachos came back their were barley any toppings some areas of the nachos were cold and the cheese wasnt melted. This place was kind of boring, the music put me to sleep not enough variety in music choices , If you just want to be at a bar getting drunk probably a great choice, if your looking for good entertainment and fun look elsewhere.
This place gets 2 stars because its clearly an awesome location, but the food and service leaves so much to be desired. Our first evening here was after a concert. We went upstairs to Live! and ordered a round of beers, which came out quickly enough. We asked our server for a food menu, but we were told they dont serve food upstairs. Our server said to go down to the bar to order food. -- OK thats slightly annoying but I can live with that -- So I go to the bar to order, and the bartender says the kitchen is closed. He then advised we should go to Yardhouse and bring the food back -- OK it seems strange this is an acceptable practice, but well roll with it -- We return to Live! with two orders of French Fries only to be told by the elderly woman bouncer that we cannot bring food inside. GET ON THE SAME PAGE!My next experience here was just earlier this afternoon. It was in the 3rd inning of the Braves game, so most people went inside the stadium at this point. We sit at the bar towards the entrance and order a beer and ask for the food menu. Were told by the bartender that they dont serve food at this bar. Rather, we will have to go to the larger bar to eat. We close out the one beer, and make our way over. We order pulled pork nachos which came out pretty quickly -- but completely cold. Our bartender took them back and returned with the same tray which was clearly just stuck in the oven. The metal tray was pretty hot, everything on top was warmer, but the pulled pork and nachos underneath were still cold. Our server commented, saying Yeah the kitchen sucks here. All of my tickets today have had issues. -- Im sorry, but how is this acceptable to management? This place has been open for months now and yet still cant figure out how to make nachos, nor make it convenient for guests. After these experiences we will not be returning. Ive eaten at the Terrapin Tap Room, Todd English and Antico and Ive had zero issues. Sports and Social and Live! have zero redeeming qualities. The Terrapin beer on tap isnt even unique - its served in every restaurant at the Battery. Theres literally no reason for me to ever come back to this place.
Horrible customer service . Took an hour and a half to get in. Miss the entire parade. Plus we had to pass two bars to get to the third bar that only served the free drink holders but they tan out of drinks so they sent us outside where the line was 2 hours long. Plus you can only eat in certain areas which is not specified on there website. Horrible. Plus parin . Been in line for 2 hour s.
Although I typically check google reviews when looking for bars/restaurants, I have never posted one. However, this situation inspired me to post.I spent a majority of the afternoon at this establishment during the doubleheader against the Mets a month ago. Obviously the place was very busy, but still easy to move around or find a place to sit. However, the bartenders, especially the ones at the two bars upstairs, were downright rude, unbelievably slow to even pull a draft beer, and borderline useless. On two separate instances bartenders got into verbal fighting matches with my buddy because he expressed his frustration on waiting up to 20 minutes to get a damn beer. Once we finally received our draft beers, one of the cups was almost half full of foam. When we sent it back, the bartender huffed and puffed and even made the remark that we didnt tip enough the last time. Unbelievable. I also stood multiple times at the bar and watched while the two bartenders would blatantly ignore patrons to do tasks like stack cups. This would take place when the line to the bar was 3 rows deep.I was also IDd at least 7 times while in this bar. Most of these instances came when I would order a drink (with another drink in my hand) or going upstairs from the downstairs bar, also holding a drink. I look young but that was downright absurd. Maybe they should institute a wristband or stamp policy at the door so patrons dont have to put down their drinks to find/show their ID when moving around the bar.I understand completely that bartenders and bouncers here dont have to really care about how they treat the patrons. The place will be packed every game day due to its size and proximity to the ballpark, and they will make their money. But I will never frequent the location and expect quality of service to continue to decline. As someone said below, there is no reason to ever come back to this location with much better options in the Battery.
The Battery was ok, Gret concept and great experience. Some of the restaurants need to improve their Customer Service and remember all customers are customers and you cant judge people by appearance, and practice discriminatory practices telling me they have no tables when 15 are visible and no one is in line, no food at the bar cause its crowded yet 10 mins later there are 10 empty seats at the bar. panicking and having a large crowd is no reason not to seat a single person. Then you seat me finally outside serve my food with no silverware and then no service. I dont remember the name of the restaurant , bar, its 3 stories with a lot of TVs. This notwithstanding the Battery is great,I highly recommend it, whether the Braves are playing or you just want to hangout
I am currently at Sports & Social on 6/12/17 and I have had better experiences with AppleBees and Chillis. I was rushed to order my food because the kitchen was closing and then my food was cold when it came out thirty five minutes later. The manager did not share any empathy and did not try to compensate for anything. I wouldve been totally fine with a gift card and someone who actually cared! All he did was take care of food that I did not eat! Working in this industry I know what it takes to take care of your guest and they clearly do not! Not to mention my drink being extremely weak, like it had been sitting for minutes. Do not come here on a game or busy weekend night. It is not worth your time.Sincerely,Your fav bartender
It was my first time here. They make me wait an hour, when they send me the message and I go to the restaurant they tell me THAT THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED. Bad organization, I was very hungry, I wanted to eat here for the first time and I had a bad experience with my wife. I WILL NEVER COME BACK and the security guys are very rude
My wife and I went here for Mardi Gras for $6 all together, and I have to say it was worth every single dollar. I found a promo code for that price! We ate, had 2 drink tickets, we danced, played games, had drinks and shots, and more drinks and shots from people who gave us their drink tickets. The place was lit! I even won the half court basketball throw and made the goal!!! I won a $25 gift card while I was there! I will definitely be going back soon! Thanks for a great time!!
I love this place! The television in the main room is absolutely massive and always playing the most relevant games for the area (falcons, Atlanta United, UGA, etc.). I really enjoy the way they transition the commercials to funny videos and music instead of watching the commercial. They have some special effects in the big room that go off for touchdowns and home runs. I went here for a braves game and they started throwing out these little foam baseballs to everyone watching the game and people would throw them back to try and make them in the basket and it was an absolute blast!!Definitely check this place out for yourself on a game day. They have everything you could want from a bar and more! This is my number one place after going to a falcons game here last week. Food is good, service is great and the environment is number one!
Great atmosphere, food is ok, love music friday and saturday nights. Be careful if youh have reserved tables though, youh may get them taken. Thays a policy they need to look into. They literally asked the ppl to get up and move bc someone else needed the table for a reservation. Dont know how they got picked out of everyone.
They made me wait 1 hour for a table. The guard did not let me pass and when I entered the restaurant was closed, they made me wait an hour for a table and did not inform me what time the kitchen closes, terrible organization in this place. I WILL NEVER COME BACK FOR YOUR BAD ATTENTION AND THE TREATMENT OF THE VIGILANT
This place is a well thought out and unique venue! It has awesome restaurants and if it happens to be baseball season you can catch an Atlanta Braves game. Multiple large TVs to watch all your favorite sports are available at Sports & Social as well as many fun arcade style games.
If youre looking for an obnoxious experience thats both run by and gauged towards millenials, this place is definitely for you. The meagre beer list is complimented by the sub par food. Our waitress was the best part of the night as she was really on top of her game. Regardless, Ill not be going here again.
Had a terrible experience a the battery. I am a 24yr retired army veteran who came to the battery to eat during 2nd inning of the game. No one came to serve me after ten minutes of sitting there. I watched another couple come in after me and they got immediate service. I could even get a glass of water 😠
So the ONLY reason this place is getting 2 stars is because our waitress kathelynn provided great customer service. My food was not hot like fresh made to order both my starter or the entrée...but the place and location is very nice, while i didnt enjoy my food the scenery and customer service was good.
Rude bar staff, felt like I was being personally ignored after sitting and waiting to order food for 15 minutes with no one talking to me. When someone finally approached me to take my order, he was clearly frustrated that we were trying to order food so we left and went to a restaurant next door.
Try somewhere else. Beer is served in a cup. They ran out of silverware before 7pm (so I got none). Service was on par with the what youd get at a bad airport restaurant. They dont know how to pre bus or bus tables. Dirty tables everywhere during height of dinner service.
Braves getting blowed out 9-0 in 3rd inng and Im 40 years old and some 20 year girl runs up and say dont serve them we just gave the a shot of fire ball, they look to drunk. Im sorry to bother yall if yall wanted to close early. Nobody here, aweful. We all had 2 beers in game. Yall wanted to leave admit it dont give me some excuse. Went right next door til the finish of the game and had no trouble. Was about to order some brisket nachos and my friends came up and said we are cut off because of the shot.
Ok, so we thought this place was going to be really great, atmosphere is great , service not so much, to start off we went on a Saturday and watched the game on tv, we left the game early due to rain, ordered draft beer and nachos, after the first beer, we were going to order another, and come to find out the bartender yelled, all out of draft beer, WOW, on a Saturday home day game and 15 min before the game was over and you’re conveniently out of all draft beer and have the whole night to go, I’ve worked in restaurants and bars , and Saturday nights are your money making nights. Granted draft beer is usually cheaper but still you can make money off of it on a busy night, just suspicious, either your management not doing their job or you’re trying to force people to buy more expensive drinks, and the nachos, at the time I thought were great until 2 hours later when I continued to vomit every hour on the hour, and no we didn’t complain while we were there, we just want be back.

2022-02-19I went to a private event here where the top floor was rented out. The bartenders and waitstaff were super friendly and attentive and the food was really good. Lots of different areas to sit down inside and out which was really cool. There is games and an electric bull which was a blast. So many places around it to walk to including the baseball stadium.

2021-12-18Really cool atmosphere, great for large groups, and very big bar. The super sized screen is incredible. Staff is friendly but spread thin. The food...not so great. The appetizers were very good. Me and the large group I was with for our Christmas party demolished them. We all loved them. The entrees...bad. I got the pork belly tacos. They looked a lot prettier than they tasted. The pork was mostly fat. My boss got the fish tacos, which he said was like eating a warmed up frozen over sized fish stick. No who ordered burgers liked them. They were minimally spiced, mainly just salt and peppered. My other coworker got the shrimp and grits. She liked the shrimp but the grits were just ok. So to go somewhere to hang out to get drinks and apps, this place is great for it. For main course meals, this place is not it.

2022-04-12Nice server and fun fun atmosphere. Was on wait list but they never called had to go back upfront and then got a table immediately. Beers $10* a draft. Wings were good but be ready for spice they were sweet bbq and spicy as heck. Shrimp and grits were a friends, huge plate and lots of shrimp, also had a kick. Salad was very very small. A great spot across for stadium. Lots of indoor entertainment and tvs are amazing!! 2 stories of fun! Bathrooms clean!

2022-04-01Let me tell you!!!! When you go just ask for Chloe! She was so awesome! And my girl can mix some drinks! 🍹😋 My friend and I came here while we were visiting the Battery and I’m glad we did. I’m a big fan of spinach dip and I must say this is the best one I’ve ever had!! Whoever is in the kitchen making it needs a raise!!!! (Seriously). And the fish tacos were great too! We can’t wait to come back!

2021-04-17My friend and I visited on a Friday night & lucked up on outdoor seating. We both had the super moist, juicy & flavorful turkey burger. It was amazing! The best turkey burger Ive had in Georgia. My friend ordered a salad with her burger instead of fries but she said it was good too. The waitress could have been a little more attentive but overall she was nice.

2022-04-23If you’re not interested in eating the food you order and enjoy serving yourself, this is the place to go!! My wife and I, along with our 2 little kids walked in downstairs at 6:10, our high top table (with a 1 year old and 3 year old) was ready at 6:34 in the tavern area and then we walked out hungry at 7:37. I know this because we got a text when we placed our reservation and when our table was ready. Our Waitress took 10+ minutes to greet us, never brought the 1 beer I ordered and forgot to put in our food order. She finally put in our food order 25 + minutes after ordering. I never got my beer and had to go to her bar and order, wait, and grab it and go back to my table myself. She lied, blamed the slow service on the kitchen, Typical! Around 7:25 we asked her to check if the kitchen had started our order, she came back and said it would be another 15 minutes. We canceled, got our tab, which was the beers I walked to the bar and got for my table myself and we left.

2022-06-12At my recent visit, I asked the bartender for a cup of water. The response was that water is $4 for a bottle and the only option. While waiting on my bottle of water, another patron came up beside me with the same request. While waiting to close out for my bottle, the bartender gave the other patron a water bottle without paying. I asked her why I was paying and the other patron was not. The response back was I know her. The bartender immediately turned away from me and tended to another customer. The bartender was rude, non-approachable and inconsistent. I am very disappointed, especially after I had already spent a decent amount on drinks.

2022-06-11The black lady with the braids down to her rear end (dark skin, she’s on the larger size) was completely rude to my friend and I. We politely asked if they take Apple Pay after she made our drinks and she said no and rolled her eyes. So we asked our third party who was with us for our card across the bar. Our third party came around the bar to give us the card and the large bartender rolled her eyes and snatched the card from my friends hand. After she swiped it she threw the card and receipt in my friends hand. She was DISRESPECTFUL. I do not know why they hire someone like that at a bar. We have NEVER encountered a rude bartender at Live ever since it has opened. Please look into this expeditiously.
