Can be a bit tricky to find, given that its tucked away in an office building, but dont let that deter you. The food is excellent and locally-sourced and is well priced for the quality. The menu is all over the place, so there will be definitely be something that catches your interest. If you are into whiskey, they have one of the most impressive bottle lists Ive seen in Atlanta.
Semi-regular to this spot and its because of the continued quality of service, food, and drink!Local Three has been around a minute, but the service is still amazing. All staff is quick to help, offer suggestions, and not be jerks about it. Also, you can walk in in jeans and a t-shirt or a ballroom gown and no one cares. All the pretentious food minus the pretentiousness. Seasonal ingredients on delectable creations but you wont go home hungry.Love you, L3. Well try to get by more often!
Latest experience just reinforced the fact that this if still one of the top 5 restaurants in Atlanta. New summer menu is unreal. And these people are all knowledgeable about food. Cocktails very creative and delicious. Great vibe inside. A must-experience in the A T L
Well, let me start with the positive. Very cool vibe and atmosphere with great artwork throughout the restaurant. Amazing Rye selection that made me wonder where they stored all the bottles! The menu options are unique with a little bit of something for everyone. The menu is also ever changing which should make every visit feel refreshed. A solid selection of “outside the box” appetizers to choose from. The popcorn appetizer was a memorable touch. My butcher’s steak was cooked properly and was about an 8/10 on the taste scale. Excellent 10/10 desserts dishes. Now where it fell apart was the service. We had to wait 2+ hours to receive our entrees! Granted we had a party of 10, but we had a reservation and there’s really no excuse for this type of wait. Our drink orders were also served at a snail’s pace and we frequently sat with empty glasses for extended periods of time. If they would have at least been on top of our drink orders it would have made the long wait more bearable. To make up for our wait they did bring us free dessert trays, but it was really, too little, too late.If we didn’t have the all-around poor service, I would bump my review up to 4 (maybe 5) stars, but the extremely long wait overshadowed just about everything with my experience.
Local Three provides indoor and outdoor seating, they serve Creature Comforts on tap, and the food is great. My wife got the burnt ends, which are taking something similar to bbq and elevating it! I had the burger and fries, which were also good. The validate parking in the garage, too. Recommend!
An unexpected surprise - wonderful New Years Day brunch! Same format as their regular weekend brunches, I gather - and a great idea to have guests flow through the kitchen for the fresh, delicious, interesting brunch buffet.Id been here for a dinner previously (also excellent), and brunch today didnt disappoint! Interesting choices, well prepared, attentive service, decent price - highly recommended!
Great experience and the chef’s specials were excellent. The food was fresh and if they morels on the menu get them while they are still available. Local 3 changes its menu based on availability of locally sourced ingredients. The establishment also has a great bar and outside dining is an option. We will definitely return. The service was exceptional.
Nice upscale restaurant with a great location. Cocktails were great, very strong but delicious and creative. Food was pretty good, very intense flavors. Also an excessive amount of butter in every dish. Maybe not quite worth the expensive prices. Dessert was great. All the food uses local ingredients with a changing seasonal menu. Friendly staff, great patio and free parking with validation (park in the garage off the main road)
Wonderful brunch buffet. They have a very nice setup, you get to walk through the front of the kitchen where all the food items are lined up. You get to see the great staff at work. They have various items to pick from. Their key lemon pie pancakes and cinnamon toast crunch french toast were items I had to have more of. The coffee is excellent and is included as well. The place has a homey feel, as if youre in someones home or living room.
Local Three is an experience you will not want to miss!! Make sure you go hungry and are ready to be welcomed by everyone from the hostess, to your waiter/waitress, to the chefs. You cant possibly try everything in one visit, so make sure you pace yourself and go back for seconds or thirds throughout the month. This was my first time in Atlanta, and it was the only thing to do on our list with what little time I had in the city. Local Three is truly a destination you should travel from anywhere to see. Some special thank yous; we ate at the chefs table - INSIDE THE KITCHEN - and it was a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. To Chef Angela, for making such amazing personal dishes - YOU are an artist in the kitchen. This was the most amazing experience, and it was so inspiring to literally watch you work, present your dishes, and see your dreams come true; Thank you. To our amazing waitress Katie, you are a food extraordinaire and made the whole experience a wild ride. You paired our drinks so well with our food, you made sure we were welcomed and honestly treated like royalty - new forks for every dish ... is this how the rich live? You were fun, caring, and it was so exciting to have as our hostess for the night; Thank You! To the rest of the Local Three team! Every single team member we met was over the top outstanding - you were all a really cool bunch to be around and it was an honor to experience the family that is inside your kitchen. Jimmy the GM, you perfectly put into words how the Local Three team operates the philosophy of the founders - I wish we could have met them! I wont spoil it for the newcomers ... make sure you ask the team when you go there what three legs the restaurant stands on. One of our servers, Patrick, thanks for the southern hospitality! To our assistant server, Nacho, the water was amazing, Ill be back for more! Sous Chef BJ, thank you for the coolest house-made pasta ever! Chef Carter, thanks for the flame grilled steak - best steak Ive ever had. Chef Hannah, thank you for the coconut rice - yum! Pastry Chef Kareem, watching you make that caramel popcorn from start to finish was a real treat! This team is what brings the whole operation to life inside and outside of the kitchen.Everything we ate would literally melt-in-your-mouth. The salad was amazing. The grits were out of this world - Ive always avoided grits because it looks like mush in a box, so Im glad this was my first time - really set the bar high! Brussels sprouts were crisped perfectly and really wowed me with the cider reduction. You could tell the pasta was house-made, and it was to-die-for, make sure you leave room for the garlic bread! Ive never had such amazing steak that was both tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection - and paired with the best cheesy mashed potatoes youll ever experience. The caramel popcorn was really simple and sweet - and not too gummy like the caramel popcorn you buy at Walmart - it was crispy and savory like a nice crust. And finally, the tasty wine and cheese to top it off - cheddar cheese smoked with espresso - yes, please.Go to Local Three in Atlanta, Georgia - travel from wherever you live, and just go. You will not be disappointed, and you will not want to leave.
My second time visiting and it did not disappoint! The food was great, the service wonderful, and the atmosphere lively. I had go sit at the bar because it was super busy (guess no one wanted to cook around the holidays) but that was no problem as the bartender was great! She watched my bag while I went to the buffet and made sure to check on me while I was seated. Ive spread the word and will be back....have to see what theme the menu has next time, right?
We hosted a private dinner at Local Three and EVERYTHING was flawless. The cocktail reception in the lobby was a hit and the room was perfect! We opted for the four course meal and we were stuffed. Portions are plentiful!!!! Our hosts were the perfect balance of tentative and hands off. It was like we didnt know they were there until we needed something, looked up and they were right there. We will definitely host another dinner here. Thank you Nikki and Andy!!!
The food and service here is always spot on. The menu changes regularly and Ive had the scallops which are phenomenal, and then another time I had trout. Both items id order again. I cant wait to go back. I love this atmosphere as well. However, id prefer the bar over the reserved seats, and yes you need reservations unless you are sitting at the bar. Its not fun to get here and not be able to eat here.
New experience of the way to eat up scale.Been first time we got our food inside the kitchen and to us is awesome, saw the personal that prepare the food (that was delicious) and the kitchen is spotless Clean.Price per adult is $24.95 & kids 12 under $14.95.For the service, presentation, the food display was Great :-)
My first experience at the local three was last night. I met one of my best friends who Ive known for over 35 years (i know it, I cant be that old) who was in town for a conference. I hit up one of my local foodie friends and his first suggestion was this place. It was a fantastic recommendation. The beverage selection, especially in the way of brown liquors, was nothing short of impressive. I enjoyed a Basil Hayden on a cube while I waited for my friend to arrive. Once he joined me we took advantage of a few specialty crafted cocktails. They were delicious. We relied upon our stellar waitress, Chloe, to place our food selections. She first brought us the Buffalo cauliflower and pot stickers. Both plates left our table clean. For the entrees she brought the pork chop and the duck bolognese. Yeah both wicked good! The experience was finished off with a roasted butternut squash dessert. Oh and maybe a Grand Ma, neat (of course) and a couple cups of Joe.My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal, our conversation and the dining experience. The decoration, entrance, and layout is very well done, IMHO, I found it very relaxing and comfortable. My recommendation, go here.Enjoy and youre welcome.Oh and thank you, Samit, for the recommendation.
I visited Local Three for a casual gathering with a professional organization. They were very gracious and accommodating to the group. I really enjoy the beef stroganoff (not pictured) and my drinks as well. Speaking of drinks, I was highly amused by the drink menu at the time that I went. All of the drinks were named after the movie Coming to America. I’d definitely return.
The BEST brunch I’ve had in ATL! I went on Saturday with a friend and was lucky to be seated without reservation. At first it seemed liked it was on the pricey side, but it’s totally worth it noting the “buffet style” brunch served. You can get multiple plates of different dishes. The biscuits and gravy was an all-fine favorite (and this is something I always crave for brunch). The options were limitless. The waiting staff was also nice and attentive for drinks, taking up old plates, setting napkins in between our rounds to the buffet! Will definitely be going back soon- my mouth waters looking at the pics.
The service was fantastic. The mussels we had as an appetizer were ok. They didnt have any flavors that stood out or popped. They were a little on the salty side, had a little kick but not overwhelming which was just right. My wife had the sole which was cooked properly and tasted good but again lacked distinguishing flavor. I had the dry aged pork chop which was a down right failure. I asked for the cut medium. It was well done. I am happy with a little char but it was charred burnt in spots, bitter. The chutney was to sweet. The accompanying sweet potatoes were but the slightest smear on the plate. The serving of greens did have a stronger presents on the plate. For the price the portions were small and the flavors were not robust enough to make up for it. It took over an hour for our dishes to come out. Will try somewhere else.
Found Local Three on a random Google search for a late Sunday evening dinner with family. Very pleasantly surprised. The evening started out a bit as a mystery as we pulled into an upscale (more like pretentious) shopping office complex and we’re directed with signs to a parking garage in back and up a few levels. When the signs stopped we parked and went in search of Local Three down a level, past a staffed security table and down a narrow corridor. But once there we were immediately charmed. Very friendly and unpretentious staff (our server was late to his job interview here also just trying to find the restaurant. Upscale and friendly atmosphere. Starters and mains to please. Trout and Snapper were excellent as well as the charred beef tips. Start with a bowl of their garlic truffle popcorn as you peruse their wine, cocktail and extensive whiskey and bourbon menu. Desserts - if the party is big enough order the run and get knives and plates for everyone. Parking is validated when you arrive. Great evening.
Accommodating, Friendly, Tasty and Excellent Service...I couldnt have been more pleased with our experience today at Local Three! We were finishing up our celebration for our Spelman College 25 year reunion and this was the perfect ending! Our reservation for 20 doubled and we all still got to sit in the same area! Great food and service! I will, without question, consider them in the future for large parties!
I admit that I had given a not so great review earlier on. I have ordered from this places a good amount of times, still after that review because I realized I absolutely love the food. The empanadas are amazing, Ive also tried the street tacos and the beef stew, both were very flavorful. I appreciate them and the food they make. Definitely worth trying it out!
Went to restaurant last week and order the shrimp pasta plate and a pasta plate substituting shrimp for sausage.. we ate one dish there and I took one home..was alot of food served at table and to go container was enough food for two meals...went back to restaurant today and ordered same two dishes and was ridiculous how small the portion was that I was served. Pics might be a bit deceivingBut my to go dish was in a large aluminum container and in this picture this container barely fit in my hand let alone wasnt even full. Bad service to serve different portions and I loved the dish and drove a long way in rush hour expecting the same serving I got first time I went to find out I only would get a kids portion..mind you these containers are very tiny..nothing compared to the bigger container I got first time went..then was contacted by manager or someone from restaurant saying they apologized and would make up for short comming with a gift card and asked for my address and guess what never even received the gift card..SMH.. so baby portion of food and lies about sending a gift card to me
Fantastic place for Brunch. They have the most delicious Adult Coffee (with bourbon) in town. I was in loved with their chocolate croissant and the breakfast abides, it allows you taste a little bit of everything. Parking is validated and they offer outdoor seating. I do recommend making a reservation. It was my husbands bday and they brought him a delicious peanut butter dessert.
Okay the restaurant is in a lovely location. Outside seating was really nice at sunset. It can definitely be a family friendly place just upscale, and I wouldnt take kids under like the age of 8. But the service was great, and the food was super good. The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is because it was a little over priced. I had the Ramen that was 19 dollars, and I wouldve paid maybe 14 for it. Other than that this is a great place to take family and friends. Everything is locally sourced and seasonal menus, and its something a real foodie can appreciate!
Customer service was great. I absolutely loved our server. Just kind, knowledgeable and sweet. The food was good. My boyfriend is super picky and like it ( just wanted more sauce on his Chicken milanese). I enjoyed the lasagna. Would have loved another texture with it like bread.
Local Three is one our favorite (if not our favorite) restaurants in Atlanta! They never disappoint. Weve celebrated many special occasions there and the staff always goes above and beyond. And everything on the menu is to die for! I often find a dish that I like and stick with it, but everything is so amazing at Local Three (and the menu is ever changing) so I try something different every time!
Wow. Food is awesome, with a seasonal menu and creative dishes executed perfectly. The wall of bourbon is amazing, and their Manhattan was spot on. Upon entering, each time Ive been greeted warmly as if they were waiting for me to arrive. Ashley took care of me at the bar, and watching her make craft cocktails while keeping up with the many orders was quite impressive. I really appreciated her personal touch. Local Three knows what they are doing. Highly recommend!
Incredible brunch spot! They open the kitchen on weekends for guests to walk through and enjoy a huge selection of unique delicious items. The atmosphere was cozy, the coffee great and each time we came back to our table, the napkins were neatly folded. Service was impeccable!
This is a buffet that is set up very uniquely in their awesomely huge kitchen. I took my wife here for an anniversary Sunday brunch, after realizing that she brought me here the year before to the Chefs table for my birthday. My first advice is to check the menu as I believe it changes each week. If you do not have any food allergies, then this buffet would be perfect for you. If you are looking for vegetables (one of my favorite things to eat though I am not vegetarian or vegan), they are very scarce outside of salad. Everything looked freshly made, and the chefs were continually standing behind the dishes, ready to refill any and everything. They even put my beef bake on the grill to heat it. Now I have a dairy and seafood allergy, and the waitress along with the kitchen DID AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB catering to it. Providing me with the options on the buffet I could eat without dairy, ie. Fruit without the cream, pasta salad, and regular salad without the cheese, and pancakes without the chocolate chips (just wish they had sugar free syrup). The chicken fajita was AMAZING and so were the biscuits. Their customer service is PHENOMENAL and the food is very good. Just check the menu so you will know what you are getting ahead of time (especially if you are a picky eater like me). Also, if you get a chance, try the chefs table, IT IS DYNAMIC!
Unbeknownst to us, we scheduled our anniversary meal early enough to experience the Sunday brunch, and couldn’t be happier with the experience. 1. We took our kids due to COVID - it didn’t matter...they were treated like family and LOVED their brunch meals. 2. My husband was really looking forward to the burger off their dinner menu and we had bribed the kids to be good with their popcorn appetizer and didn’t think about rescheduling our dinner to earlier so as to bring the kids. No problem - they were happy to whip these up for us. 3. I always love getting something different here, and today was my first experience with the brunch menu so I went all in - summer omelet + bacon with the sangria. YUMMM. 4. This was our first foray as a family out to a restaurant since March...placed away from others and everyone had face coverings. You continue to hit it out of the park for our special meals - thank you!
Truly the most disappointing menu I’ve seen. No BLT in the world should cost $24.93 and I’m honestly offended by the price. Every entree on the menu is $24.93 and I don’t think any of them should be that expensive, but especially not the BLT. Had I not been there celebrating a friends birthday I’d have left without ordering.I do empathize with restaurants trying to make things work during the pandemic but I cannot support a restaurant that charges such steep prices for very basic brunch items. Spinach and mushroom omelet for $24.93?? - wild!! If my BLT had been a good one, or had the service been outstanding (it was mediocre at best) I probably wouldn’t have left this review but it was super skimpy and sad and I was very disappointed in the whole experience.
It is good, but I dont think this is the best brunch place, it is just good. I liked everything I ate, and walking though the kitchen to get the food is cool. Worth going to at least once. I you have company, and want to impress a bit, this would be a good choice. HIGHLY Recommend reservations.
We came for Sunday brunch. Love how they have the buffet set up in the kitchen! It was very peraonal and a family feel getting to go back and see/talk with the chef team. We really enjoyed everything they served! Excellent! We will definitely come back for brunch. A hidden treat!
2/9/2020 (Sunday Brunch) - First off, the good(s): 5 stars for our waiter PJ! He was great and accommodating. Actually, 5 stars for all of the staff we encountered today. The young man, with the beautiful curly brownish gold hair (I did not get his name), brought my water when I arrived and was very helpful with the description of the Sunday buffet process. This was my first time and I was clueless, even after reading the reviews. I expected something different and he cleared it up for me. The young ladies at the hostess stand were very nice and helpful as well. The restaurant validates parking, which is a plus after you see how much the garage charges to park there.Food was delicious! There was only one item I did not like, blueberry cornbread. It was not my cup of tea but I figured Id try it...live on the edge.Less good but definitely not bad: I only gave the restaurant 4 stars because the food selection was not very vast. A majority of what we ate today was very delicious but the selection was lacking for the $30 ($29.93) price tag. The bacon was delish, just thought Id throw that in there!
The brunch buffet here was a perfect start to my weekend :) A unique experience as the buffet was set-up in the kitchen, very interesting - your questions/ concerns could be answered by the chefs themselves. Nice spread, cooked to perfection! The upscale, quirky seating area just adds to the whole charm. A must visit.
Great experience! Greeted & wished happy Anniversary by hostess, mgr Ben and server Destiny. Server suggested wine tasting to find one Id enjoy. Environment was relaxing, and we never felt rushed. Food was uniquely delicious, with more than ample portions. I complimented cute s&p shakers to mgr since I collect them & was told to choose a set at the close of our meal! Hubby and I were pleased from start to finish.
I went here for Sunday brunch with a party of four. The service and ambiance were both amazing (loved being able to go into the kitchen) but I was underwhelmed by the food. A lot of it was really not good, all of the breakfast items were a miss for me other than the bacon...the standouts overall were the bacon and the shrimp and grits, but when I pay $30 for a buffet I expect to be impressed by more than 2 items. There was a beefy Mac and cheese option that was terrible, and I rarely meet a Mac and cheese that I don’t like. The eggs were also a weird mix of dry and undercooked, likely from sitting on the serving plate. The service was so good and the ambiance so unique that I’d still recommend this place, but I would try it for something other than brunch.
We went there recently for weekend brunch. Most of the food was good, made fresh every 15 minutes. All of their eggs dishes were excellent, but the sweet dishes are not too desirable for me. If you are vegetarian, theres not too many options. The service is excellent.
One of my top favorites in AtlantaCasual atmosphere, dynamic menu and the most unique brunch in the city.We have dined at Local Three numerous times over the past few years for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. If you havent tried their brunch - not only does it have a large selection of items, but you walk through their kitchen to serve yourself. It takes a confident chef/owner to allow the patrons to do this - and it does not disappoint. While the staff is mostly in the background they are available to answer questions and we find it interesting to watch the preparations and chat with other patrons as we move through this large and unique kitchen. My only regret is that we live over an hour away - but it so worth the drive!
Took my kids here for the first time for Sunday brunch after church and I was very impressed! The waiter knew his way around the menu very well and suggested a couple of his favorites for our first time there. Over all a pleasant experience with the meals freshly prepared and laid out in the kitchen, will be coming back next month.
I love their Sunday brunch atmosphere. When youre ready to eat, you file through the kitchen and select the freshly prepared dishes you want. Be ready to go back for 2nds, especially for the bacon. The wait and bar staff are professional and knowledgeable. Great place. Now, go make a reservation! Please hit the like button if this review helped you out.
Im a little delayed with my review. But Local Three was amazing at my birthday brunch, everything wa phenomenal from the food spread, the service, the ambience. My guest enjoyed it and talks about it still. I will definitely be back!!!! I already referred someone who also had their brunch there as well. :)
I love the cilantro lemonade with free refills! The young lady at the register was nice and helpful. The place is nice and clean. She gave us alkaline water while we waited without even asking. The shrimp burger, salmon philly and fries just didnt do it for me though. Also it was drenched in sauce.
Amazing service (during my lunch experience), good meal options for a vegetarian and a well above average wine list. The waitress did a stellar job with us, and explained the menu options superbly. The atmosphere could not have been more perfect for our Friday lunch.
Came here for our 2nd wedding anniversary dinner as a first time trying the restaurant and had a really pleasant experience! We are big fans of charcuterie and the board we got didnt disappoint! The purple mustard was super unique. The biggest star of the night was the Chicken Schnitzel. My husband said it was one of the best dishes Ive ever had in my life! Please keep this one on the menu!!
What I really like about local three is the menu changes every week. You have a lot of a fixed items like the McDowell. ( if you ever saw Coming to America youll understand). They offer a fantastic brunch on Saturday and Sunday mornings, their dinner cannot be compared to anyone else and if youre into Bourbons they have a phenomenal bar scene.Ryan Turner & company have yet to ever give me a bad experience at this establishment. You owe it to yourself to visit local three
Im a person who has visited this establishment numerous times and each time that I come I am reminded as to why I loved it in the first place. The Sunday Brunch is simply awesome. The menu changes often but certain mainstays always remain (Spotted Trotters Sorghum and Black Pepper Bacon for my fellow bacon fiends is one example). Brunch is set up buffet style you can severe yourself with as much as you like and keep going back until you have tried everything the kitchen has to offer. There are always standouts from the kitchen each time! Even when you arent helping yourself in the kitchen during brunch the dinner menu is extensive and offers its on set of delicious choices. Cant go wrong. The service is always pleasant and friendly and never gives the feeling of being pretentious, considering the restaurants location in swanky development. For the drinkers who enjoy a new bourbon/rye the bar is FULLY stocked with all measures of bourbons and whiskeys to keep your palate satisfied. There are few other places in the city with the depth of options that the bar offers on the whiskey spectrum. Hands down one of my favorite places for a slam-dunk good time and great meal.
I am happy to pay a high price for exceptional taste and/or appropriate portions, but Local Three had neither. It was very good, dont get me wrong - but good isnt enough for the small portions and high price tag. The atmosphere is really eclectic and trendy, with beautiful wood accents and a dimly-lit dining room. But $12 for a few tablespoons of gazpacho, albeit delicious, is not acceptable. The food itself is fine, and our service was great, but I was not impressed with the overall experience.
We held a small wedding reception at Local Three and sat in the Bushwood Dining Room. Since we were from out of town, we booked everything from afar and communicated with Alice who helped us with the arrangements. Her communication was on point!! Responded to every email I sent very timely. She covered every single detail. We literally did not see the venue until day of the wedding! It was elegant and beautiful. The food was beyond delicious, it was a brunch. The service was also 100%. The whole process was seamless. Id recommend this place for sure!
Oh man, what an outstanding brunch! Everything was delicious, and served in small bite-sized portions. At first, I thought this was going to be hard to manage or to get enough to eat, but that wasnt a problem at all. My only wish is that they would have put one of those serving bowls full of bacon on our table, because that was fantastic. But everything tasted great, better than most breakfast places. I was only visiting for a couple days, but if Im ever back in Atlanta, Im absolutely going here for brunch again. (BTW, make reservations first!)
Really liked this place and the overall vibe is just really mellow and great. Spend some time at the bar for a happy hour drink and chat w the awesome bartenders before moving on to a table for dinner. Your biggest problem will be deciding what to order because you will want to order absolutely everything on the menu. Cant wait to try their brunch one of these weekends.
Food is totally just mediocre at best. Some items seemed like theyd be good in theory but didnt work well on the palate and nothing was executed well. I dont get the other reviewers raving about the food. If youre a true foodie, trust me when I say not the greatest. The wine and drinks were good so come for that and the chill vibe, just dont expect a spectacular meal to go with it.
I’ll allow that my mediocre experience here was probably partially due to coming on a Monday at lunch and arriving dressed in jeans rather than a business suit. Our server was significantly less attentive to us than her other tables, and less attentive than other servers in the dining room were to their similarly casually dressed guests. The food was quick to arrive once we finally got to order, and it was....fine. It was not however as flavorful as one would expect from the price and chef reputation. My carnitas tacos were dry and bland, and almost half of the avocado topping them was black. My husbands cheesesteak was....fine....nothing remarkable. The accompanying fries were easily the star of the meal. Given the price and tucked away location, nothing about this visit makes me motivated to try again.
I have only been for the brunch service, but have gone back repeatedly because it was so good. Amazing food served in a buffet format. They keep a good core of dishes and had some new more seasonal options to compliment them each time I went. Good service across multiple visits. Parking was a tiny bit confusing at first, but didnt negatively affect the experience
Went here for a buffet brunch with a large wedding party. I called weeks ahead and asked for two vegan plates. We were excited to see what the chefs could whip up for us.We ended up being served green beans and plain rice. We were disappointed and felt disrespected. The server ended up giving us a discount bc there was no way I would pay 27$ each for what we got.I wish the same amount of service was put into our food as the servers put into our experience. It did put a damper on an otherwise happy occasion.
My company goes to various restaurants to review their food for client referrals and this place had THE best burger. I try to stick to Turkey but I LOVE a beef burger. This was perfection on a bun. Well worth the price and I will definitely be back for another. If you want a great burger this is the place to go. Plus the set-up is quite a treat. Nice hideaway spot, like its sister restaurant Muss and Turners.
Every aspect of Local Three is nothing short of spectacular. Their food is exceptional. The atmosphere is lively but intimate. Their waiting staff is personable and polite and their chefs are some of the best in the southeastern United States. This has been my favorite restaurant since I first stepped foot in the door four years ago and I couldnt possibly recommend any place more than this one. We have had countless wonderful experiences here.
I was impressed with the ambiance of the restaurant. It was big enough to not feel crowded but small enough to feel cozy. I wish I did not need to go back to work as their wall of liquor looked very good. I like the lunch menu as it was limited but ample! The waiter we had was warm and friendly. I would defiantly go here again. I would not recommend taking a small child here.
This place rocks! Ive lived in the area for 2 years now. My wife and I do date night on many Fridays. I try to drag her here each time. She likes to go out to other restaurants and bars all over Atlanta, but we keep coming back here. Its close, very reasonable, and unbelievably fantastic. You will not find a more eclectic menu anywhere. And on top of that it changes routinely. The drinks do as well. Yes, its a bourbon bar, but the drinks are unique, changing, and always fantastic. To top it off, the servers are knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and always having a good time--just like you will.
Great atmosphere. Servers are hospitable. However, Brunch menu is limited. Additionally, no options for individual preference even with the limited menu. Small selection should bring specialty items with great taste and I not experience that within the select items on the brunch menu. We just might have to try dinner.
Such a cool place. Movie themes are there all over the place with examples such as The McDowell for their awesome cheeseburger. Their bourbon selection is crazy big and pretty amazing from a special section perspective. Food is great, drinks are great, and service is super friendly. A bit hard to find, but a cool speak easy joint for sure.
This place is so good that I don’t really want to review it because it gets packed easily. Brunch is amazing and worth every penny, dinner is also amazing but a tad bit more expensive. Only problem here is that you’ll more likely than not need a reservation if you want to eat here which isn’t so much a problem as it is a nuisance but I’m sure the owner is complaining about the busy-ness.
Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. Its a little hard to find if you havent been before as its in the bottom of an office building off Northside pkwy. The menu changes often and its always amazing. One mainstay that never leaves is the McDowell. Outside of the the fantastic Coming to America reference, this is one of the best burgers in the city. I would order anything on the menu here with confidence .
I went for Saturday brunch buffet which was excellent! You go through the line in the kitchen which can be a little awkward with staff constantly walking through. But you can see the food being prepared. The presentation is very nice. This is not your typical buffet with a line of chafing dishes. The French toast was the best Ive ever had. Its the perfect amount of sweetness and toastiness and not too eggy. It has a slight hint of lemon. Its served with fresh blueberries and syrup already infused in it but somehow isnt soggy. Make reservations. I went at 11:30am on Saturday with a party of 4 and the only seating option was the bar.
This place was amazing. Hard to find, but worth the find. Addison was easily sociable and did everything she could to make our experience enjoyable. The food was perfect in every sense, we ordered charcuterie and cheese, along with Oysters Rockefeller. Split an entree and it came out in two plates without us asking. Prices are appropriate but steep..all the while worth every bit. Indulge, and youll be impressed. #DonnaNewton..thats her name btw 😇
This is a relatively upscale restaurant hidden in an office building The menu was heavy on small plates like tapas, but had a few good main dishes as well. Everything we tried was well prepared and tasty, however the price point was a little high for what we received in our opinion. For example, $20 for 3 tacos was a bit much. That being said, the cauliflower and eggplant were standouts.
Was just okay for Sunday brunch. Not too many options. The only meat options were bacon and some type of pork roast. Surprised to see that there were no fruit options nor salad options except for a premixed greens type offering (not a salad). Probably wont be my first choice for brunch in the future.
I’m still in the parking lot but I just had to post about my experience! We treated ourselves to the Chefs Table experience and it was a once in a lifetime experience. Nick, our server, was phenomenal. There was a mixup that was quickly made up for.The food was amazing, the atmosphere was electric, and the time of my life. Thank you thank you!
Saw the great reviews and decided to go after church today for brunch. To our surprise brunch was an all you can eat buffet... it was luke warm and just OK. Best thing was the sweet corn soup. The pancakes were tiny and hard. My mimosa was good and strong. 70$ for 2 people for brunch seems a bit high to me also but it was all you can eat, I was done after the first plate. I really wasnt in a buffet mood though so I dont know if what we ate for brunch makes us want to try dinner here.
We got a gift for our wedding for a chef table at local three. We came last night and it was a great experience. The table set-up is inside the kitchen and they have for us an 8-course meal with wine pairing. Great food and great service (Nick). I ask them for a birthday cake and sure enough they have it for us at the end of the meal.
Was with 3 friends celebrating Christmas gift for a friend, and I was invited. 8 course meal paired with wine and lastly a Caucasian Russian as they called it. Excellent. Head Chef and part owner Chris Hall shared conversation with us as we ate in the kitchen, great experience. You wont be disappointed.
We hosted our bridesmaid luncheon in the KOR room (seats 12 comfortably), and it was such an amazing experience! I have been going to Local Three for about seven years now, and Im always impressed by the food, level of service, and incredible drink selection. They made custom menus for us and the service was wonderful. Would recommend to anyone looking to have a great meal!
The food is good, but very overpriced. A beet salad with a literal hint of goat cheese is 14 bucks...there is maybe 2.50 in raw cost on the plate. Redfish entree was 23 and change. This was for what I estimate to be a 4oz portion with some carrots, mushrooms, and starch puree. Maybe 4.50 raw cost on the plate at most. A Sweetwater 420, which if you are from Atlanta you know the cost... 7.03 a pour on draft.I sat at the bar. The staff looks sloppy in their untucked t-shirts with dirty bar rags stuffed into the back pocket. Lightbulbs are out above me...but back to the bartenders. The guy to my right just asked what bourbon was good over ice. The bartender said here is the menu. Nice sell there my guy. The couple to the left asks what is good...Well, the Crab and Brussel Sprouts are popular. What a ringing endorsement!I went to the bathroom twice... Now its important to know that the bathrooms are outside the front door as the place is in an office building (the old Joel for you old school folks). Two host...they didnt even look up. That is striking to me as... Well as a host your main job is to create a welcoming hello and goodbye. Thats restaurant 101, especially at this price point. But they failed... Utterly. So yeah. The food is tasty. But the experience in no way justifies the price point. Its not even close. My advice? Go try local three on someone elses dime. If you dont know the cost it is likely worth it.Edit: Hey owners. I was at your bar for 3 hours. Do you know how many bartenders engaged in conversation with guests? 0. Do you know how many bothered to ask my name or invite me back? 0. Do you know how many managers I identified as working the floor? 0.You guys are woefully missing the boat when it comes to service. This is coming from someone who has run restaurants for better than 25 years. I an a chef who has also held the hat of GM, corporate chef, and opening coordinator. You have a good concept, but it is missing the mark right now.
Social distancing on point, amusing cocktail names and the food and service, as always, are excellent. Everything you expect from Local Three and more. We highly recommend the Social Distancer and Wash Your Hands cocktails. The first features vodka, St. Germaine, lemon and mint. The latter features bourbon, ginger, and blood orange. We also recommend the Tri-tip Bibimbap, the Buffalo Cauliflower and the Key Lime Dessert. The Trout was lovely also. If you are nervous about dining in, but really want to in a safe environment, Local Three is a safe place to be and I dont think you can do any better anywhere as far as the food goes. It felt so good to sit and enjoy a meal in safe environment!
My friends and i tried this restaurant after reading alot about it, but, it’s not worth the hype. Mother of Dragon from liquor section was little too spicy and strong and was disliked by the group. Valar Morghulis was much better. We ordered couple of vegetarian and non-vegetarian appetizers and Buffalo Cauliflower had too much Buffalo sauce which made it more salty. Asparagus was however good. Spanish Octopus was great, Rabbit not so much.In the main dishes, we ordered Spring Vegetables Pad Thai which was a disaster. The McDowell burger was fabulous and Trout was alright. We were expecting a lot better food and experience for the price we paid. Service wasn’t the best either. It was a Friday night and we wanted to have a good time and food. However, we experienced nothing much but a fat check. Not going back there again.
Excellent experience at Local Three. Went for my wifes 30th Birthday. Service was top notch with Mike on top of table setup and changes between courses, in a efficient and casual manner. The food was great and full of flavor including the Asian shrimp and slaw, the beet salad, and I loved my monkfish main. The birthday bread pudding dessert was a great touch. Would recommend and will be back
Well lets see where to start. Nice and comfy restaurant well organized. We went for Sunday, so far I have not been happy with brunch in ATL period.Until today !! Local 3 staff greets with a smile, gets your drink order the point you to the kitchen where the have the buffet.1st.. the kitchen Was Super clean. The chefs prepared small plates so the food would not get cold and as soon as the plate was almost empty it was replaced by a fresh batch.Great place, great food, we will return.Bill Binger
After eating there on a Friday evening my friends and I were unimpressed. Our service was horrible, as we had rude server who you could tell didnt want to be there. The food was also mediocre. The truffle popcorn was extremely salty, the French fries were hard and dry, and the dessert that I ordered ( white chocolate cake) seemed like a freezer dessert. Do not recommend this restaurant.
Great place for endless brunch and good times. I was here for a birthday outing, and enjoyed the buffet, with a Muddy Water (whiskey, ginger beer) to drink. The prices are high for what I was expecting, but the food is fresh and endless. I was also surprised to see how few people were in the restaurant.
One of the Best Brunches I have been to in a long time. Not only was this place a buffet style, the portions were small so you could try different items and not feel guilty about eating a lot. The service was impeccable and would definitely visit again when Im in town.
Grabbed a OREGON Pinot Noir from the bar as I waited on family to arrive for lunch last week and the price was a steal, $11.Great bar customer service!Ordered the crab and avocado dish for lunch with chips and fries. The crab and avocado dish was so amazingly tasty that I can never have avocado toast without crab ever again. The crab was so fresh, light, and flavorful! Our waiter gave the best customer service too!My family ordered a little bit of everything and we all cleaned our plates.Don’t sit on the wall near the kitchen, the floor vibrates and it feels so weird. I think it was the AC unit? Not sure.Gave 4 stars because the front staff/greeter was not friendly AT ALL.
A somewhat fancy place to bring a date or a have a special family dinner, local three offers a wide variety of dishes and a great atmosphere for its target clientele. Every time I have eaten here, I have been impressed with the dishes and service, and it doesnt hurt that the owner is married to my high school chem teacher.
The restaurant is well decorated, with good service and great atmosphere. The food, while good, didnt quite meet our expectations. We started with pork belly and tuna tartare appetizers. The pork belly was good, caramelized, but very sweet. Most of the seasoning for the tuna tartare was on the vegetables garnishing it. The tuna itself was unseasoned, although it was fresh and well-cooked. Both my wifes fish entree and my pork loin where tasty but slightly overcooked (medium well) and not as juicy or flavorful as others Ive had.Based on all of the other excellent reviews Ive seen, maybe the chef was having an off day.
Great Saturday brunch. $25 AYCE buffet. You order your drinks then walk through the kitchen where there are different plates with lots of food. There were about 3 desserts, 3 appetizers, 4 breakfast items, and 4 entrees to choose from. Wait staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely return on my next trip to ATL.
We ate at the chefs table...truly an incredible experience! 8 courses of decadent and incredible food with wine/beer pairings. The service and experience were second to none. Just be sure to take an Uber or Lyft to/from the meal as you will have a lot to drink along the way!Cannot recommend more highly!
Tucked away inside what I think is an apartment building(?) Local Three might be a little weird to find, but theres gold in them thar hallways. The layout and look of the place is pretty cool with a more upscale hip feel yet casual vibe.We came after finding their McDowell Burger listed on a plethora of Best Burgers In Atlanta lists. We also ordered some drinks with the Lanai being a delicious, tangy treat- 10/10.As for the burger, its odd: My mouth was fooled thinking it was a Big Mac at first, because it kind of is. But the more I ate it, the better it became. The cheese was like delicious glue between two perfectly cooked patties, and that sauce is spot on...but just off the McDonalds Special Sauce. Its a Big Mac, but made better and tastes better while still holding the Big Mac like taste you know. Again, it was odd to me. The fries were very good. Glad we came to try it and we will back again to explore the rest of their intriguing menu options.
This place is wildly high end, I say that in the best way. There is no getting out of here cheap. All the appatizers are incredible. Ive never had brussle sprouts I liked until coming here. Homemade Doritos? Round 3 please. The mini corn dogs are both cute and tasty. The entrees were amazing, in both cost and flavor. The TV Dinner tray is a whimsical classy spin on something generally much lower priced (mine was a McRib). The short ribs were incredible I was told. The drinks are a little small, and on the higher side. The house cocktails seemed limited in variety. Great experience all around. Awesome service, great food, fun place. PLUS, its always packed. Go here any day of the week and youre bound to find a decently full house.
This was a little challenging to find but boy, was it worth it! Neat atmosphere and vibe, amazing bourbon selection, delicious food (the Truffle Parmesan popcorn and lemon pepper bacon bites were great appetizers and my ribeye was perfection) and attentive service made for a great experience. Ill be back!
We were in a group so perhaps that threw it off a bit, but service was a little slow. Food was good, one steak over cooked sent it back, delivered quickly with a shot of private stash bourbon on the side to say sorry. Mcrib thing was a little dry but good, a little extra sauce and it would have been super. 10 of us with wine, bourbon and a few deserts was under 600 which is pretty good, but you could easily spend more.
Went here for an early fathers day gathering with my two sons and two daughter in laws. Also with my amazing wife. Had a great time . Drinks were great, serving was easy above part, food was excellent. Had as great evening. Not a complaint, just an observation, being a person with hearing issues and hearing aids. To many restaurants have hard scapes, meaning that all the walls, ceiling, furniture, pictures, etc are hard flat surface, causing sounds to bounce and reflect with very little sound absorbing. More restaurants need to look into more soft scapes today absorb sound. This location is all hard scapes.
We must have caught this place on an off night or the night the entire kitchen staff quit. Food took over an hour to come out. The interpretation of jambalaya was white rice and a slice of sausage. We did enjoy the mystery adventure of trying to find how to actually get to the restaurant.
Great food, horrible service. 3 hours for a dinner of 8 for a 2 course meal. Almost an hour just to get checks after WE asked for them. Not to mention 45 minutes just to get a round of drinks when we sat down. Don’t plan on a quick night out. This is an all night affair. Just not a great experience...but food is great.
Pricey little place tucked into a business complex. Very nice ambience. All courses over $20. My BLT was de-constructed to give you an idea of how they talk here. Went with the cheeseburger, it was delicious. Beautiful art all over the walls, nice staff. Lots of business people. 4 stars, knock on the price.
Warning: Dont go for Valentines Weekend!1. They changed the menu for the weekend. No updates on their homepage, or FB page, or even when you make reservations.2. The V-day menu is prix fixe for $65/person. The only way that you can get a la carte is at the bar.3. Prix fixe until you read the fine print. $20 up charge if you want beef tenderloin.4. Menu isnt allergy-friendly at all. If you have a nut, shellfish or fish allergy; your choices are limited beyond the limitations you expect at any restaurant.5. The service is horrible. It appeared as if some of the staff werent aware of the temporary menu, so there was some confusion. The bar assistant wasnt even aware of the $20 up charge on my beef tenderloin. Staff were getting complaints from patrons about the temporary menu and this was weighing on them. I overheard at least three conversations that involved complaints and foul language. The bartender didnt do a great job of hiding his frustration. He was rude, snappy, short, and made a few comments to us that were borderline disrespectful.6. The food was subpar. The couple next to me sent back their plate, my date sent back his meal as well, and my beef tenderloins were over well done (comes medium). The good: My drink was great! I had the Prossecco with mint and other accents. Even though my beef tenderloin was overcooked, it was good (but not $55 good).
Been going here since it opened. L3 always continues to make excellent food and drink with amazing service. Menu changes with the season and had a well selected range of classics and new takes on them. Not to mention Velvet Elvis and Big Lebowski references everywhere.
Awesome place. I recently visited this restaurant. The kitchen was closed when I arrived but would open shortly. In the meantime I ordered a drink. The bartenders are true mixologists, not just a couple of pour-ers. The drinks were expertly blended.Once the kitchen opened I optioned for the charcuterie board. A great mix of prosciutto, salami and pepperoni. The restaurants dark wood walls and large windows on the front make it a very relaxed, shady place but with natural light coming through the partially frosted glass. Theres also outside seating available under table umbrellas if you so desire.Local Three is a good place to go. Whether for happy hour or dinner. I highly recommend getting the Little Debbie Snack Attack for dessert.
The first time that I went to Local 3 in June 2013 I fell in love with it, raved about it to all of my friends and looked forward to returning, but knowing it would be a special occasion due to the pricey nature of the menu. After waiting a year & building this place up to everyone around me, including my boyfriend who did not get to eat the last time we went I returned to be incredibly disappointed. The menu was not as diverse as it was a year ago and did not have many eye popping selections. We decided to start the night w/ the meat & cheese plates, we had to order BOTH @ $18 per plate because there was not an option for a mix and match meat & cheese plate. We were very satisfied w/ the meat plate but the cheese plate left A LOT to be desired. 4 miniature sized pieces of cheese that we were able to carefully slice to each get a very small bite to taste. A huge let down as we have had meat & cheese plates from restaurants all over Atlanta. The Truffled Flat Top Mac-n-Cheese was dry & tasted like box shells and cheese that had been broiled and then the pork shoulder was an over cooked boneless pork chop that was incredibly dry. We didnt even stay for dessert after it was all said and done. We were incredibly disappointed in the food & the value. We sat at the bar & can say that the drinks were wonderful & the staff was pretty good. At this point it would be hard for either of us to want to go back to this restaurant, especially with the stiff competition that they have in the Atlanta area!
Fantastic restaurant and bar. The staff is always excellent and the food great. It is a 4 star because the food, which is priced to be excellent, is sometimes just above average. Always delicious, but just not 5 star. This place will stay in the mix of places to go for happy hour and business lunches.
Why am I JUST now finding this place? Theyve been open for 4 years now! Im kind of upset, but Ill get over it.I enjoyed a delicious Sunday brunch with a really great server this weekend. The fact that you can walk through a portion of their enormous kitchen is pretty awesome. They served sweets, savory items, traditional breakfast items, and lunch-type items. There was everything from kale salad to strawberry panna cotta to biscuits with gravy and chicken confit. Besides the delicious food on the buffet, I love that you are able to chat with the chefs if you have questions. The BEST thing about the buffet is that everything is fresh. They only set out about 5-10 servings of each dish so that everything is at the correct serving temperature when you dish it out onto your plate.I will definitely be back for lunch, dinner, and/or a cocktail.
Recently returned for a repeat dinner visit. Ill never get over the fact that nobody can ever seem to digest where they are going as they are walking in. We park in the deck and walk into a lobby for what looks like your average dentist office. One corner and a door later, you are overwhelmed by an atmosphere and an aroma that could knock your socks off.Ordered the duck fat fried pickles snack and mushroom app. Both were melt in your mouth delicious. Finished off with the scallops. Scallops are my favorite dish, so Ive ordered my fair share. This pairing was fantastic!I have to say, I honestly cant remember what I ordered the first time I came. It wasnt bad, but obviously they didnt make a lasting impression. This visit completely showed up visit number 1.Cant wait to bring friends back.
Tucked away in an office building, this is a very cool spot for locally sourced, delicious food. Ive been for the Sunday brunch and sporadically over last several years. Food always delicious. The main dining area can be a bit loud depending on patrons adjacent your table.
Seated with a group around 8pm and got served with OVERpriced tomato salad around 9:30. After finishing the food it took another hour to get the check. Must say salad was tasty, I believe one single tomato sliced with a tiny piece of mozzarella - on top of todays Menue for $21!?
I was a part of a private 3-course meal in their private room. I cant recommend this restaurant enough. Its difficult to find, but worth the adventure. Everything is farm-to-table and fresh. Servers were professional and knew the menu well. Bartender is heavy-handed, which had no affect on writing this review ;)
For my Birthday this year I was looking for a place to have a couple of drinks with my friends (6/7 people total). We are all professionals within the Tech Industry, and I thought I found a diamond in the rough when I stumbled upon Local Three and their Whiskey Tasting series, called Whiskey Business.About a year or so ago I attended a Macallan Tasting at the Red Phone Booth, and it was no doubt one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Upon reviewing the Whiskey Business calendar I became extremely excited. I noticed the day before my Birthday (December 19th) they had a Japanese Whisky tasting. I am a Big Fan of both Scotch and Japanese Whisky, and because I wanted my birthday to not just be a celebration, but an experience, I thought the ambience and offering would be perfect. I knew the seats were limited to 12 people, and I was willing to pre pay for the entire 12 seats if I had to...thats how excited I was about this event. Unfortunately, the excitement ended there.I initially tried to make reservations over a month in advance, and I havent heard anything back from anyone to date. They only provide an email address to make reservations, and Ive reached out a couple of times to no avail. I know that Japanese Whisky is very popular right now because of its scarcity, but It would have been nice to get a response from someone letting me know if they were still accepting reservations. I was hoping someone would have gotten back to me by now, but at this point I am going to have to find something to do at the last minute. In this day and age, what kind of business provides a preferred communication method for reservations, and then either doesnt monitor their mailbox, or chooses to ignore paying customers? If I were in the restaurant business, the type of customer that is willing to pre pay for a Scotch or Japanese Whisky Tasting for 6+ people would be the type of customer that I would love to attract.Make no mistake...I am not giving Local Three a review of one star out of merit. I am giving them one star because that was the minimum rating I could provide for the review.
We got the cheese and charceuterie plates, the bacon-wrapped meatloaf, falafel, and brussel speours. All the food was absolutely amazing. We told our server, Grace, that it was our anniversary, and she gave us champagne and a toffee cake. Both were absolutely amazing and made our night even more special. Thank you so much, Grace and Local Three! We will be back
After moving south from Philadelphia, I struggled to find what I would consider creative cuisine. Local Three proved true chefs do live in Atlanta - wowsers! Tucked away on the first floor of an office building on Northside (a few lights off West Paces), this unique eatery offers both small plates and entree-sized portions. No matter what, you cant go wrong. Order what sounds yummy and ask your server for suggestions. The staff is responsive and knowledgeable. The ambiance is refined rustic. The evening will be delightful.
The service was terrific. The popcorn and Brussel Sprouts apps were out of this world. My Catfish Reuben had to be sent back as the rye bread and catfish were terribly over-cooked and the replacement was just a little better. They took it off the bill without being asked. I will go back because they have a creative menu and one visit doea not define a resturants overall quality.
Customer service on August 7 was disheartening. Had a reservation through OpenTable for 1:00 p.m. Arrived early and was given the option to start at the bar and once table was available would be given the choice to be seated. At 1:15 inquired about being seated and was told it was still not available. Upon returning my plate and drink had been removed. Had to be given another drink but wait staff was disingenuous and unapologetic. The food was great the customer service was the worst I have ever encountered. Whats the point of a reservation if you will not be seated but see others seated after you.

2022-04-18We had the Chefs Table experience. We took a long walk to a table in the midst of the huge kitchen and then proceeded to have an 8 course meal over the course of 4+ hours. Drink pairings, tax, and gratuity were included. We were with another couple and the server Armand was awesome and time passed quickly. We enjoyed all the food and flavors other than the dessert which was just meh. If this helps anyone, weve had Michelin tasting menus in Europe, and the portions here, in comparison, were enormous, so be prepared to eat a ton of food or box up a lot of it. Highly recommended!

2022-06-27The food and service was good overall, but, like others have said, this is a bit overpriced. The portions for $25 per entree for brunch doesn’t seem justified when it’s something you can get at any other brunch place in town for less without having to drive to a big office park with nothing else around it.This location needs better wayfinding. The sign to Local Three in the parking deck by the stairwell is small, and the sign inside the office lobby is even harder to find. They do validate parking though! If you’re in the area, then this place is a good option for a nice brunch with friends.

2022-04-06Love this place! Unique food options and literally, almost one million bourbon options. Bloodys are on point and all of the brunch options we tried were fan-freakin-tastic! The atmosphere is a nice vibe too.

2021-07-14Bottom line: The chefs table is a rare experience with a rare experience price. It you want to make sure to emphasize that an occasion is special, this will get it done. The chefs table is located in a nook off of the main kitchen where you can watch the ballet of an large culinary operation while you eat your dinner. You get a multiple course meal with wine pairings, neither of which you pick or really know what they will be ahead of time. We got two dedicated servers and the chef brought us our entree course. We had a blast, our servers really paced the entire meal so that we were able to really enjoy everything. The price tag is no joke, so not something youll probably do frequently, but I think it was well worth it for the experience.

2022-03-06This restaurant has it all! An interesting menu, a fantastic cocktail list, well executed, local ingredients, plenty for folks with different dietary needs. The space is cozy and well thought out. The best thing, though, is the service. Marc made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant on a busy Saturday night. He was also very knowledgeable about the menu (drinks and food), and made excellent recommendations. Come here! You won’t be sorry.

2021-07-11If you love Miss and Turner you will love this other restaurant by the same owners. The quality of food is top notch. Definitely enjoyed the shishito peppers and burnt ends. The mixologist make some great drinks as well. This restaurant is a must try!

2021-07-21A secret gem Local three has a chefs table experience that is incredible. The menu and the wine pairing were fantastic, but the service puts it above anything I could have expected. The value of what you get is better than other tasting menus. If you want a great private experience this is one of the best in the city.

2022-03-13I gave 4 stars for overall value and service. It was a “girls night out” and we did the chef’s table. (Literally in the kitchen). Was a bit disappointed that we didn’t have any interaction with the chef but our server Jason was awesome!! I’ve done several tasting menus and server presentation is at least 60% of the experience in my opinion so Jason definitely delivered. The overall value was good because it included excellent wine pairings. The food was good. Everything was cooked well, steak slightly over cooked for my taste. The oysters were really fresh. All the dishes were interesting and the progression was nice and thoughtful. The mussels and Brussels was my favorite. Again really nice wine pairings. I would return.

2021-08-15Just a heads up. They DO NOT HAVE THE BRUNCH BUFFET ANYMORE!We came specifically for that and were disappointed to see it gone. However, what we ended up ordering was still good though a bit expensive. We got the shrimp and grits, biscuits, bacon, eggs, chicken sandwich, bourbon cream coffee, and peach Bellini.
