Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant in other cities:
My daughter ordered our meal from this restaurant today. The steaks were supposed to be medium rare but it was so tough we could not cut it or chew it. We contacted the restaurant and the manager was so supposed to call us back but no one did. We will never eat here again.
Usually their food is great but this time they dropped the ball and everyones food was messed up. We walked in and placed an order to go, my sister was completely missing shrimp. My seafood burrito was empty, tho I was told since I didnt want there fish (tilapia) it would have extra shrimp it also comes with rice and beans. My moms food was missing lettuce and tomatoes. I also found a small piece of chicken in my food and I dont eat meat at all also two pasta noodles, guessing they came from my sisters dish
I will never go back to this restaurant. The service was really bad. I had to ask the waiter 3 times to get my water and the food I got was not what I ordered after waiting 25 minutes for just 2 tacos. And the manager was rude when he realized I wasnt going to wait for the right order to be made.
Cindy was very friendly and helpful. She shares her energy all across. The food was good but little more salty than normal. Also, flan portion size was half of what am used to see in other Mexican restaurants. But it is a nice clean restaurant with lots of varieties, well maintained, clean restrooms. So overall its a good one.
First impressions are everything. My best friend and I decided to try this restaurant. To begin they were quite unaccommodating towards my service animal, Layla, and inattentive. The waiter, Jesus, was extremely condescending and dismissive when asked about the items ordered looking thrown together and like an open faced taco. His reply was, this isnt Taco Bell. Service and food would have been much better. Not darkening that door again.
Went with our family of 8 for dinner. We didnt get chips and salsa until wed been there about 15-20 minutes. The guacamole was super salty, like inedible. The entrees were alright, but not nearly as good as most of the other Mexican restaurants in Hiram. Service in general seemed to be very slow, had to ask for things multiple times.
Awesome food, great service, and good prices. Perfect atmosphere for a date, nice and quiet but loud enough that you dont have to worry about people overhearing your conversation. The waitress last night was very helpful and kept up on everything with our table without being overbearing. Ill be back here again and Ill be spreading the word that this is the place to be. Keep up the good work!
Our server was great but service times and food quality was not. It took over 20 minutes just to order. Server said mix up with table assignment. Food was very, very salty!!! Not seasoned, just salty. Drinks were not good either. Margaritas tasted like nothing but sour mix. I only drank a third if it. When we spoke with the manager, he made more excuses than talk about how to solve problem. And rather than suggesting alternative or come back and try again after problem fixed, he offered me a drink seeing I clearly didnt like the first drink. Training opportunity all around. 90 minutes to eat entrees only in a Mexican restaurant is unacceptable.
Last night was our second time going to this restaurant in the last few months.. The first time they were very slow getting to the tables, my order was messed up, and they clearly couldnt handle being busy.Last night was even worse.. They werent busy at all, we waited over 10 minutes for chips, the server was completely useless (he would purposely not look at you so you couldnt ask for anything. He came to our table all of three times), and my food wasnt even edible (I ordered enchiladas. They re-did them and I still couldnt eat them).WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN.
Never ever again! We have ate here multiple times. Without issues. But the manager has officially made it to where to will never go back.Order of fajitas had hardly no meat. Explained this to them. Plus the forgot the extra shrimp we order.I drove all the way back to get the missing food and more meet. They refused and said it was the normal amount. It wasn’t even enough stake to make two burritos and it was supposed to be steak and shrimp fajitas for two. $44 and got onion and peppers! There are plenty of Mexican restaurants in Hiram! I’d suggest choosing any of them besides this one!
We waited 45 minutes for our food (including our cheese dip) then when we got our food mine was wrong and had to be sent back and my sons tacos were cold. Then when we asked to see the manager he wouldnt come talk to us and sent someone else. (We ended up getting a whole $5 off🙄)
I did an online order I paid online and was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrive at the restaurant around 7 I called and said Im outside. I was told its not ready yet give us 20 minutes. So I call again and now I was told they didnt even make my food. Ive now been waiting an hour for my food which they didnt bother to make. I was told i couldnt get a REFUND because the manager wasnt there so come back tomorrow if I want my refund. This is unprofessional and also THEFT I paid for a service I never received. I wish I could give them a zero.
SO SLOW! And they nickel and dime you to death. The kids quesadilla, which is made from a small tortilla not even a large one, doesnt even come with a drink. So that $5.50 turns to $7 which most places you can get an adult meal for. They also charge .75 for hot sauce which I didnt know until I got the bill. Took about an hour and a half for 2 adults and 1 child to eat and pay. This place used to be great and was my go to but now Id rather go anywhere else.
Waiting over an hour for our order that we placed online for curbside pickup. When we FINALLY got our food, it was cold and we were missing one of the dishes we ordered. We were also missing chips and salsa (not to mention the extra we ordered). Tried for over 30 minutes to call for a refund with no answer. Won’t be making this mistake again.
I have been going there going on two years. The salsa is the best around and the food used to be good. Lately, I noticed a decline in quality of menu items but what really drove me to give two stars was the fact that the waitress was not wearing a mask. During the pandemic I think it is crucial to wear a mask, especially if you are talking and holding plates at the same time (and hovering over customers). Many customers may be young but some live with elderly parents.
Service was slow because of shortage of servers/hostess.Late to get our beverage and food order.Food was edible, but order incorrect. Waiter never checked on us after he took our order--saw that he was very busy with other patrons, as was the other server. Didnt get our bill til we got up to go to cashier to pay. Disappointing as weve had better service and food there.
The food was just okay. Our server was soo rude! He acted like we had done something to offend him! We had our 4 kids with us and didnt ask for anything special, just tacos rice and beans. Couldnt figure out why he was soo mean maybe just having a bad day. We would never go back though.
Placed an order via Door Dash. The Avacado Rolls are amazing...might I say drool-worthy? Yummy!!Hubby had Texas Fajitas ( named differently on menu) and he was very satisfied. We also had cheese dip ( requested jalapenos but got none) that arrived hot & ready. We had jalapenos at home so no loss there. If you have missed a good Mex meal during this pandemic and are still afraid to eat in person, Door Dash it!!!We loved our food!!!
Fantastic fajita nachos. We also ordered molcajete and it was superb. Full of shrimp, chicken, and the most tender skirt steak weve ever had. Service was great. This wasnt where we initially planned to eat, but we were so pleased that we ended up here. Will definitely go back.
Love their flautas (I believe the menu calls them rolled tacos)! I have ordered (delivery - DoorDash) from here three different times, and each time my food has been pretty consistent. The sopapillas are tasty, but a little too thin and crunchy for my liking (I prefer the sopapillas to be fluffy/puffy and more doughy), but I loved the chocolate and honey topping!
This is my favorite restaurant. When I go to Mexican restaurants they never melt the cheese in cheese quesadillas but when I go to los Arcos the cheese in cheese quesadillas is ALWAYS melted. Also they have so much different options from breakfast to dessert. In conclusion I love this restaurant.PS the people that work there are SO nice.
Nice place. Great ambience. Food delicious. Great beans. Salsa was authentic. Servers were kind and patient. Prices were reasonable. Serving size was perfect.I will definitely come back to try the other entrees. I had the Enchiladas Supremas..the enchilada sauce (both green and red) were very good. I am impressed with this restaurant..job well done. Thanks guys~
I went here today with my brother to eat and it was terrible the cheese dip was not fresh and the chips were stale and I found a hair in my margarita then waited an hour for my food and it never showed up so I told her to cancel. It is terrible service I do not recommend
My family and I met up with some friends at Los Arcos for lunch. There were 12 of us including 4 kids under 4. They sat us quickly and service was top notch. For my family, the bill was only $28, which I loved. Great chips and salsa, the street tacos were delicious and they served the kids before the adults, which is ways a good idea.
Food was okay. I just wished Mexican restaurants that put peppers and onions in the beef they put in all the dishes, would tell you on the menu (especially tacos). Asked the waitress for several things that never got brought. She wasnt attentive with checking on us either. Extra napkins are imperative when you have kids at a table. That should be an obvious item to bring for any waitress, but I asked anyway and never received them. Service couldve been a lot better.
Updated. Its really not that good. The Margaritas are very flat and do not have any kick or flavor especially with OJ versus lime juice and no grand marnier.Enchiladas taste very much out of a box. Customer service is ok. $9 Margarita for lunch? Outrageous. Should be happy hour rate. Where are the $4 margaritas? Always trust my reviews.
PROS: authentic Mexican tacos are DELICIOUS!!! Bar was clean and our bartender provided excellent service.CONS: Only 4 beers on tap, salsa was sweet (had to add hot sauce to it) and chips werent fresh.Overall, I will return because its the only place close to home that has authentic tacos. I will say that I find it odd this place is very empty and almost looks closed from the outside.
We like Los Arcos! We like the Taco Salads there. However, they are just a bit too meaty compared to the amount of veggies in the salad. We ordered a little extra lettuce and that balanced it out nicely. The tortilla bowls the taco salad is served in are really tasty too.
I will not eat there again. I got food poisoning last night from there. I had a coupon for free order of fried ice cream and placed my order. Then the server came back and said they didn’t have all the ingredients to make it. However they had already tore my coupon up.
12/10/19 Server was rude, didnt know it was Taco Tuesday, didnt offer any insight on their specials, and rushed me along when I asked him a question. Rice was very salty and the portion size for the shrimp & fish tacos chopped up like it was a toddler serving size.I WAS DISGUSTED...
If I could give a zero I would. Food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered the taco Fiesta with grilled steak. The steak was not grilled. The steak smelled like a dirty Sponge that has been sitting in filthy water. I tasted it and Instantly wanted to puke. The rice and beans tasted as if it was reheated in a microwave. I will never eat at this place again such a waste of money!
Ordered fajitas and 2 taco salads and had them delivered via DoorDash. Costed almost $40. Very small amount of food. Looked thrown together. Taco salad was bland and mushy and runny. The chicken for fajitas was rubbery like microwaved chicken. Not a good deal for the money. 😐
Burnt ground beef on top of my chicken . The enchiladas were luke warm and the only thing i tasted was salt . The chips and salsa was the only good thing . Btw this is my first and last time going there . How the hell was my food luke warm when I was waiting there while they “cooked it”.
The food is good. Service is subpar. The reason they got only two stars.....they charge you for EVERY SINGLE ITEM. Don’t ask for extra sour cream on your quesadilla, they charge for that. Don’t ask for grilled chicken instead of shredded, they charge for that. One person with a drink and an order of quesadilla’s cost $25! Go somewhere else. Lots of amazing Mexican restaurants that won’t charge an arm and a leg for dollup of sour cream!
This is probably the best Mexican restaurant in Hiram. It is clean, the food is good, and I have never gotten bad service from this place. Because its slightly out of the Hiram shopping bubble, it does not receive as much business as the ones closer to the heart of Hiram, which is a shame as Ive tried them all and their food far surpasses the other texmex restaurants in town. Never had something from here that I didnt like, which cannot be said about the others in town.
Went here for the first time, the second I got out of the car I heard some drunk guy rambling, not singing, over a loud speaker and according to the hostess it was Kereoke. Got seated after standing around for a few minutes. The place was empty inside everyone was on the porch for the so called Kereoke, which I hadnt heard any actual music, and he stuck us all the way in the back. Someone brought our chips out, and we just sat and waited to be served. No one came to us in the 20 minutes we were sitting there meanwhile there were at least 5 servers standing around doing nothing. We just eventually got up and walked out. Reading other reviews looks like we werent the first and Im sure we wont be the last to have a bad experience. Definitely wouldnt go back, thanks for the free chips and salsa though.
Went there mid evening on a Friday. Parking lot not that full..I should of known then. I ordered steak fajhitas. When they brought it out to me the steak was cut about the size of my thumb and about a half of a cup full of it . sooo many peppers and onions. Absolutely no flavor. Bland. Dont waste your money. This place wont stay open much longer
Service was extremely slow. Didnt have a designated waitress at first. Restaurant was not incredibly busy but the waitress was rude when asked questions. She spilled my drink and quite frankly I was less than impressed. Been in food service myself for awhile as waitstaff and management. Hopefully this was a one off and my next time will be better.
WORST place EVER!! They werent prepared for cinco de mayo at ALL. NO service, watered down drinks, warm beer, stale chips, 1 1/2 hours for NO food. Canceled our order, so did 20 other people we were with. Only 1 server for 45+ covers out on the patio. Absolutely ridiculous place DONT GO!! Can I give a 1/10th of a star?
Was my favorite Mexican place until about a month ago, a little after they changed names from Las Palmas to Los Arcos. Most recently, the food was fine, but my order was wrong and we werent attended to much even though it was basically empty. Hopefully it was a fluke...will update next time we go.
Yo, it took about 10 min for them to get our drinks, thennnn the lady came and took our order. When it was about 30 min of waiting she comes all confused and stuff and was like your food hasnt came yet? And we heard the table next to us was having some trouble too. So the lady took our order again, but after that we bounced.
Absolutely love this place. We go atleast 2 or 3 times a month. All original waiters and the managers are amazing and so so friendly. Alex the owner is wonderful every time we go. Our food is always fresh and delicious and our service is always great!. Definitly mine and my wifes favorite resturant in hiram!!
Always have great service here, they have mexican entrees that most other mexican restaurants do not and to be honest thats what sets them off from other places. Having a pasta bowl at a mexican restaurant just draws a big tear to my eye! Anyways you havent lived unless youve visited this place.
Yeah, first thing you get from most mexican restaurants is chips and salsa. Stale chips with ketchup for salsa.Ordered their special guacamole salsa mix. BlahGot the fajita for 2 and it was decent.Ive come to the conclusion that everything in Hiram is just bad. I just drive to surrounding cities at this point.
This place changed name from Las Palmas to Los Arcos. Everything else seems the same including authentic and very tasty Mexican, great service, and very reasonable prices. Skip the chains with their Americanized food (hamburger, velveeta, ketchup) and go here for the real thing.Google - Fix this! The marker for this place does not show until extreme zoom in. Instead it shows the old Las Palmas CLOSED.
Ya, I tried to call and ask about there menu and if the had a buffet at all. When he said no, i asked if he knew of any in the area. I told him thank you for his help but I couldnt understand him, after me asking 2 times he got igmnored me and hung up on me!!I wont be back!

2021-11-13First time at this Mexican place. Everything was fine until the food arrived. Our waiter asked if my taco salad looked okay, it was small but it was fine. I started moving things around and didn’t see any cheese. The manager was walking around and asked if everything was okay, I responded no there is no cheese, he walked away came back a seconds said the cook said there is. I said can you show me. He walked away. The waiter came back and said is everything okay my response NO, there is no cheese. He said and I quote it’s melted away so you cant see it. Walked away. I got up with the food walked to the kitchen and said there is no cheese. The manager said and point to the cook said there is cheese. I said he is a liar and you sir are a awful manager. A good manager would have said I will bring you over a little bit. I got back to the table and just ate, but the more I thought about it the more angry I got. I kept my cool. No one ever came back by to check on us. They ended up having another guy come over to ask me if we were ready for the check. I laughed and asked if they were to scared to ask me for themselves. A weak leader will destroy a decent place. So no I would never go back. To many Mexican restaurants to pick from.

2022-05-05I had lunch there today with my friend Janet. Our service was excellent! We were seated immediately and given chips and salsa as soon as we were seated. Our server’s name was Carmen. She was friendly and made us feel very welcome. She was also knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions. The food came out quickly and neither one of felt rushed. I would strongly recommend this place and plan on coming back with my husband.

2022-02-06First time we ate here. Restaurant was clean. Food was decent. Soda was strong. Our food was made to order, but the rice was a tab bit salty for our taste. I didn’t notice it as much but my husband’s rice was way salty. The temperature was only warm in some spots. It seemed like our food was just sitting somewhere, forgotten. The serving plates were hot though. Our waitress never came back to our table. We didn’t get a chance to ask for napkins or any refills. Overall, we probably would not return here again.

2022-07-16I give it a big fat 0!!! This place is nasty and dirty... I cant even explain what a bad experience I had there tonight at this place. The music is terrible! They have a dj out side playing blues.. but the inside is playing Latin music? Weird vibe terrible! This place needs to close.

2022-06-14Food was good. It was like the regular Mexican restaurant food, not the ones where they try to make the same dishes seem fancier. Sometimes, you just want regular chips, salsa, cheese dip and a taco beans and rice. If I want fancier, I like Huey Leuys.

2022-07-21We had never noticed this place and just decided on a spur of the moment early dinner. No one else was in the dining area. Ive noticed quite a few negative reviews about service during regular dinner hours, so I cant speak to that. For us, service was great. We ordered the chunky guacamole - never had one quite like that, but it was really good. My marguerita was perfect...they have 3 sizes with the smallest at 12 oz. Huge for me! Drank about half, but was very tasty. I had a large beef burrito with red sauce and rice, scoops of sour cream and guac on the side. Again, very tasty. Husband had beef tacos and liked them too. All together, right at $50...because of the guac and alcohol. I had half my burrito to take home, which I did. Our experience was positive and I would go again. Sorry folks who like Huey Lueys, but this was the most authentic Mexican food weve had since we moved here...always looking though! They do need to brighten up the place...its looking worn and needs fresh paint in areas.

2021-06-17The service was good. The food was average. You can get better food at Qdoba, or Chipotle. Nothing special here.

2022-04-16Their queso is better than most. I had the Enchiladas Mexicana, and was fantastic. My wife had taquitos, and sadly, they were oily and burned - but with perfect insides somehow. That was the only disappointment.

2022-05-16The workers are so rude and unprofessional. I DoorDashed some food to my home because I am disabled and can’t drive and they told my Dasher that they can’t add an extra scoop of rice to my order even though DoorDash charged me like $30 for the entire order and I only ordered like shrimp tacos and a side rice and they said that it’s because I didn’t pay for the extra scoop of rice which is like maybe not even 20 grains.
