Im the first to say that Loves is a cut above the rest. But this location in Brunswick, GA off exit 29 was the worst ever. From the customer service down to the showers. If the manager didnt spend all her time watching the other employees she could help too. Oh, I spent $1000 bucks there! Geeeez!
Its a cool truck stop friendly staff lots of stuff for on the road and food for on the road. Tapertowel in the restrooms not just a blower for your hands they have showers they called shower #7 as we left.
I parked to get fuel and then walked in to use the restroom and get a bottle of water. While I was standing in line, the woman behind the register jestered for the next person in line to step up to the other side of the register. I was not the next person on line. She raised her voice and I asked her what she was saying. She said I told the next person to step up!I responded that I was not the next person. She then yelled that she knew how to handle her register. Disgusted, I placed the bottle of water on the counter and left. No purchase. No gas. No return.
I stop here often. Clean restrooms, great snack and food selections, friendly and prompt service! They had the phone charger I needed to charge my phone, too. Gas prices are fair to current market, but I would stop here even if the price were higher. I look for Loves every time I need to stop!
Often stop at Loves when traveling. Always clean and well staffed. Some might be reluctant to stop at a truck stop, but dont be. They always have a QSR along with fuel. Good size convenience store. Fuel prices are hard to beat and its always easy off and easy back on the interstate.
It used to be a pilot, but I assume its a work in progress. And they need to dump trash cans..no electric lock on shower room door. Loves can do better..
Subway worker was amazing and sweet but beware of cashier (Torie is her name) in the actual loves part.. shes extremely rude to customers and doesnt dare offer to bag our things instead makes us grab them ourselves across the counter, and rather stare at her phone than help customers.
Everything was fine. Fueling lane was clean. Only issue is truckdrivers leave trucks blocking pumps after they are done fueling.
What a rip off I forgot my loves card so I had to pay 14$ for a shower fuel is over a roller more then everywhere nothing but screwing the driver because of his limited access to things
While traveling we always stop at love’s!! It is the only gas station we stop at. The prices are good, food is good and the best coffee!!
We stop at Loves on road trips for their dog parks. The dog park at this location is behind the building where the trucks fill up, but its impossible to see from the front and theres no signage so you can find it.

Just stopped here to pee. I had (2) 15 seaters with around 10 kids. Would not recommend the cooked food though. Saw crawlers.

Was entering business via access roads that is always blocked by parked vehicles [ mostly big rigs ] and another patron got in my facebecause theres not enough room in road to share.Spoke to store manager about the issue and he said Loves can do nothing because its a public access road and tow operators will not tow vehicles from there privately own driveway.Law enforcement will do nothing because its privately own by Loves.This continues to put patrons and customers in conflicts with each other and puts everyone in danger because the driveway is always blocked and vehicles are always trying to get in or out.I guess they will wait until something bad happens to do something. @LovesTravelStop @glynnpd
Having personally met Mr. Love several years ago I have been loyal to Loves Travel Centers. I was very impressed with this man and his character. I see no reason to change.
By far THE WORST Loves in the nation (that Ive seen). Empty cups everywhere, spills, not to mention the flies!!! Seriously, I clean up after myself. I dont have 30 min to clean the beverage area. Lets not even forget the Subway. One lady actually making an effort. The others? Bare minimum possible. And one almost handing sandwiches without sanitizing his hands or wearing gloves. Holy Eff.....

We stop at these stations while traveling. We get fuel snacks and coffee. I lower my expectations at these places when it comes to coffee, but I was pleasantly surprised by my beverage at this location. I was glad since it was my turn to drive.

I like Loves general brand and usual cleanliness. This particular location could use some help. I waited in line to check out for over 5 minutes while there were no associates at the cash registers. Just a little more attention to detail and this location could be as good as the rest, but right now they need some help.

First, I wanna say that the staff here are very courteous and professional. So that being said, this place is disgusting!!! The whole place (store front, bathrooms, and showers) looks like it hadnt been swept and mopped in ages. I went to take a shower and if I didnt 100% NEED that shower, I would have walked out. It was beyond disgusting. I kept telling myself I cant believe I PAYED for this!. The shower itself was full of hair. The drain was covered and clogged with hair. I had to hold back from looking at it to keep from dry heaving. Totally disgusting. The door didnt even shut all the way. You had to hold it closed and deadbolt it. And in the pictures, I dont know what kind of bug that is but I had to stomp on it twice to kill it. But they do let you drop your trailer. So that deserves a star I guess.

Visited to pick up some snacks while making our way through Georgia. Bathrooms were clean and spacious with no gap on the sides of the doors.They had an area in the middle where you could get a hotdog, rollups (like egg rolls and taquitos), etc. They sell purses and other handbags, sunglasses and are attached to a subway.Staff was kind of friendly.

Stopped on Sunday, June 26 at 1:30 in afternoon. Loves are usually immaculate and earlier reviews mention they were here too. But today they were a mess with toilet paper dispensers empty and a giant roll balanced on top. Paper towel dispenser at sink was empty as well and there are no electric dryers, so towels are essential. Maybe they are short of help. But things like these issues dont take care of themselves. Someone in charge needs to take charge and assume responsiblity.

Short of our 12 year old daughter getting lost while I was paying for Subway, (she went right, shouldve went left). I got to the RV and panic struck my wife on our daughters where abouts.. I told her I would go back in and get her - I know what she did (she had a 50-50 chance and blew it). So I took the heat for that all the way back to Tampa - but I did get to drive in silence, so..... BTW - She was fine - though I understand a 12 year old at a truck stop alone was sketchy and I explained to her - never to leave my side while at travel pit stops. Many bad things can happen on the road..
The girls working overnight are rude and unprofessional they didn’t speak upon entry or check out (not even to provide the total)but can find the energy to talk about customers thinking they’re slick, grow up

Not trucker friendly at all. There are three places to eat, a godfathers, subway and chesters chicken. Subway was out of half their menu, the lady making pizzas at godfathers was kinda rude and had no pizza available, and chesters chicken had no chicken ready-at 630 in the afternoon she supposedly just got there…….. went to the TA on the other side of the interstate….. much cleaner and more accommodating. Won’t be stopping here again!!

Pulled in very ample parking easy to maneuver our RV best gas prices we have seen so far. Store clerk polite. Hopped next door for a question for a mechanic he looked at our RV no charge very polite. We have never had a bad experience with loves. We look for them everytime we travel most have doggy parks as well #dogfriendly. We will support them.

Im an over the road driver and I have to say this loves isnt at all driver friendly. Stopped in at 12:30, wanted to grab lunch at Chesters Chicken, they had one (1) piece of chicken, no tenders and nothing cooking. I guess they felt the lunch rush was over. The sides looked like they had been sitting there for hours. As a driver I expect a truck stop to have the things I need, Loves is sub par to other major truck stops. This one is even worst. A hint to management, if you dont have it you cant sell it. NO excuse for being out of food at 12:30 pm and making no attempt to make more.

I loved all the birds. There were seagulls and little black birds. The gas pumps even had owls. This was a really cool gas station. The food was good too. It was $4 for two tornadoes. The milk seemed a little high though. It was $2 for one pint of chocolate milk. Really clean gas station.
I had to listen to Lindsay in the Subway complain like a child because I asked her to put her mask on properly while she made my sandwich. Princess white trash isnt into being polite to customers and doesnt care about the well-being of others. Good look for both Subway and Loves.Check yourself before complaining to a vet about wearing a mask.
I was driving a diesel motorhome. Followed the signs to.the regular pumps, but diesel was only available on one end. This made it a bit tricky to navigatr, but got it done.
Its an alright truck stop. Its outdated and in need of renovation, but I enjoy the nostalgia. Showers were clean enough, Im not picky. Friendly staff and Chester chicken was great.

Most employees were wearing masks. No patrons other than myself was wearing a mask I turned around and left without buying anything. I had been looking for food snacks drinks a car charger and a cell phone mount.
This loves truck stop is health hazard. A male employee was coughing heavly and on purpose. The employee have attitude and and very few people wearing mask, when i went to subway almost everyone in the line wasnt wearing a mask. THIS LOVES IS HEALTH HAZARD.
06-22-2020 @ 6ish pm🌻Ms. Hattie (the cashier in the store) was sweet.🌻Ms. AJ (in the restaurant part) has a wonderful sense of humor! Loved her personality!🌻Ms. Romonda H. (in the restaurant and store part) was a sweetheart! She made an amazing pizza and cheesesticks...💙Side note: the gentleman that made the Subway chocolate chip cookies...Man! He did an amazing job. Im sorry I didnt get his name. He was taking them out of the pan and was gone before I got over there and I didnt think to ask his name. 🤦♀️😞Now for the part I hate doing.....😬The bathrooms needed a cleaning. Ive seen worse, but Ive seen better in a Loves, too.🤷♀️Went back in around 9:15ish pm and the same trash that was stuck to the ladies in stall bathroom from earlier was still stuck and trash needed pulled...and well...just a general cleaning.When I left the bathroom and rounded a corner, I almost ran into a Loves employee. I said, Oh! Excuse me!!!😲🙂 She just kept going and ignored me.😳 Never said, excuse me...or anything! She had her hand up her shirt 😳and had ear phones on and had her cell phone in the other hand talking to someone on it. She was so rude! 🤷♀️I didnt get her name as well...I was startled by her hostility to me (We both rounded the same corner and I was as polite as I could be)..and her as an employee doing immodest stuff.🤦♀️🤷♀️ Im used to seeing some sights in the bathroom...from nakedness to people giving themselves a bath in the sink....but out in the open store-by an employee!🤦♀️😳🤔🌻She could definitely learn from Ms. Hattie, Ms. AJ and Ms. Romonda about how to treat other human beings.🥰
9/16/19 - SHOWER #1—We stop by to get a shower but shower was so GROSS!! MOLD all over the wall. Sink is nasty hair all over and most of all around toilet bowl is nasty , the floor never sweep nor mop it.. IT WOULD BE NICE IF THEY DISINFECT AND USE BLEACH TO CLEAN the whole shower room.

Came all the way here in Brunswick, Georgia. Stop here at Loves Travel Stop. Was a great idea, an I would definitely make a nother trip here. Loved it!

By far the nastiest loves I have ever been to. There was stuff spilled all over coffee and soda area. The restrooms needed cleaned badly. It is apparent they have no pride in their store. The parking lot is poorly designed and the store is poorly managed or not managed at all.

Cleanest ladies room Ive seen in a long time! Friendly helpful staff! Met Ms Rita behind the counter and found her friendly, welcoming in the early morning hours and knowledgeable about the area. This will be one of our permanent stops on our Trek from Raleigh to Daytona from now on!

The staff was friendly and professional up until the moment a couple came in the subway/Chester/pizza area with their small dog. I mentioned it to manager of the obvious health code violation and was told that store policy permitted that even if it isn’t a service animal which it wasn’t. Really? Smh

Clean grounds, clean bathroom at time of visit. Well priced gas in comparison to surrounding stations. Easy to pull in and out of and close to highway exit so quick to get back on the road. Well stocked store.

My husband and I are truck drivers on a dedicated route. We stop at this Loves from time to time instead of the Loves at Exit 90 depending on when its time for us to switch driving. Its usually between the 1am-4am hour. It never fails that they do not have a single machine with coffee in it but the employees are sure finding time to stand around and talk.

The subway attached to this Loves travel shop gave everyone I attended with food poisoning on 11/12/2017. We had the worst service and encountered the rudest employees. When we asked for marinara sauce the employee showed us the chunky clumps and asked if we still wished to have it. We should have left then but knowing that subway had standards to follow we went against our better judgement. We called and notified management and customer service. BEWARE of this subway. And Loves shops as they did not try to make things right in anyway.

The sell of urine in the ladies bathroom was so overwhelming that I gagged upon entering, there was toilet paper all over the floor, and the trash bins were overflowing. I promptly left without using the bathroom, as I was very concerned for my health.

They dont deserve a star called at 9 am to get tire repaired 4 miles north of the loves it almost 12 and still no tire save yourself the headache and call the TA and if people reading these reviews would notice the only good reviews are from local guides trying to strum up business for there community and Im still here losing driving time thanks LOVES 😡😠

H screwed me over while I was pumping gas I hung the pump backup because there is no octane level on the pump so I moved my motorcycle to a different pump did not pump an ounce of fuel stood in line I stood in line a long line patiently so I can get the credit I had on a pump switch to the pump that I moved my motorcycle to and somebody had pump my fuel and they would not reimburse me because I was waiting in line you have lost another customer thank you for this experience
Loves uses Polystyrene Number 6 cups for their coffee. These cups are cheap and are not safe for consuming hot liquids. The hot coffee causes the polystyrene to leach into the coffee. Polystyrene is a known neurotoxin. Loves is literally killing their own customers and they dont even care. Also, I bought a cup of grapes which tasted rotten.Replace the coffee cups or prepare to reap the whirlwind when consumers discover Polystyrene in their bloodstream coming from your coffee cups.

They dont have the Rv dump station that Google Maps says they do, and diesel is $0.20 a gallon cheaper across the road.

The ladies restroom stunk! The sanitary pad disposal box was full to the MAX and should be cleaned daily. I would not expect to have found that at Loves travel stops. I have been to other Loves travel and this one was the worst .Thank you.

Card reader inside store works, one at gas pump rejects card. Employee doing nothing stated that sometimes it bes that way. Thats okay. Sometimes I bes going to another store.

Had to wait on shower twice 3 dirty no clean wash clothes and of course no one cleaning them.this morning no ice in fountain machine had to go ask restaurants for bathroom out of paper, faucet broke,garbage can running over..etc...I could go on but Im tired of typing.

2021-12-04I just left this Love’s Truck Stop and your 2 employees at the front desk were offended I wore a mask so the young light skinned black female sat down and the older white women didn’t greet me at all but the man behind me she said good morning too.Nobody in the store wore a mask and looked jilted because I decided to take precaution against something I know can kill anybody.That’s just how ignorant people are these days because they would look down on another because he don’t follow the masses.

2022-05-24Clean showers, some hot food and baubles of all kinds!! Truckers dream I guess, but this mother of 3 twenty somethings TRAVELS all over this beautiful country of ours. I travel for business, pleasure, family, and everything in between. Ive walked counties, visited iconic places from history in my area (Southeast United States, specifically Georgia. Well, specifically Savannah) and being the Southern Belle that I am, I know customer service and hospitality like a whippoorwill knows his unchanging song. The long and the short of it, or maybe just the long lol, is that this place is great customer service was awesome trinkets were wonderful to look at and it gets a shiny 4.5 stars from me🙌

2022-06-17I have never had anything bad to say about Loves truck stop. They are the friendliest people around. Clean and tidy. Bathroom was so clean. Highly recommend to visit one on your Travels.

2022-06-17Loves runs the best rest areas, especially if you travel with pets. Many locating have dog parks! Bathrooms are clean, and fuel is competitively priced. Most locations also have two or more restaurant options on site.

2022-06-13The store is relatively clean and the employees are super nice! But the showers are in HORRIBLE condition. They are in desperate need of a remodel. If I didnt need a shower (badly) I would have never went in.

2022-04-25Its gotten really hard to want to stop here. And I only stop here out of convenience. Coffee drinkers take their coffee seriously, especially those who run the open road. This place has been habitually out of creamer from the dispenser every time Ive stopped. Also, there is hardly ever anything available to eat. Maybe I just come there at the wrong time? I dont know. But I will be taking my business across the highway to the Flying J .

2022-07-01Everything was clean, staff was nice. We picked up subs from subway. Food was fresh and made exactly like we asked. A little disappointed because Godfathers and the chicken place were closed early.

2022-03-24Good Loves, Cleaner than most. Shower Rooms need some work. Speedco is extremely slow but they were willing to work with us and the National Tire Distribution network we use.

2022-05-12The bathrooms were clean, and the selection of items available in store suited our needs. The subway employee acted as if we ruined her day by existing, but maybe we did. Who knows.

2022-04-06Its clean. The people are nice and they have lots of stuff to browse through as you walk around to wake up some. Lol. The parking lot is well lit and people are around so it seems safe
