Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
Lowe’s on Duke Drive in Alpharetta, GA refused to refund my money on a purchase I made last week and tried to only refund half of what I paid on the receipt with my debit card. The management was so hostile I had to call the police! They forced me to take a store credit. Why would anyone want to shop or do business with them?
Incredible customer service with Wallace (manager) who helped me through the process of purchasing new appliances - washer, dryer and refrigerator. Can’t speak highly enough of his professionalism, courteous and helpful demeanor and great knowledge of the products. A really great purchasing experience! Highly recommend!
Its your typical big box home improvement store. It has everything you might need for your home projects. My only complaint is there are to few employees. Its frequently difficult to find someone to help and customers usually wind up helping each other out with getting something heavy or out of reach and offering up suggestions and advice.
I tried yo return some insulating foam for windows and doors. They wouldnt take the products back due to a 90 day return policy, despite the fa t that I had the receipt. I checked before I left and the price was the same as when. I initially bought it. Def not as good as Home Depot. Ill go a little further to go to a Home Dept when time permits. Better staff and overall customer service.
We purchased a small ecosystem. The plant variety and accessories to keep these lovlies alive were all available. The staff were friendly and helpful. One star was lost because I observed several customers without masks that went unaddressed. The 2nd star was lost because there were workers who had face coverings around their necks. Im not a medical professional but Im guessing thats not helping slow/ stop the spread of COVID-19. I dont like taking stars or my patronage away. Im coming back for a peace lily, please do better. I hope that trip will be a 5 star.
Poor customer service. Waited for help woth battieres and the lady at self check didnt call until I asked her a second time. Batteteries put in the wrong spot. I know exactly what Im looking for. They could be a little more helpful by checking the inventory instead of being lazy and not being helpful. Just left since theirs no communication.
5 stars for the ridiculous deals on outdoor living related items right now. Lowes are always kept in pretty good shape but like most big box hardware stores, finding assistance can be difficult depending on the day. Even when you do find help, you may struggle to find the person with the answer(s) to your particular question(s).
Lowes is good but not the employees.I had 2 bad experience1- i bought a grill and they delivered me the display product instead of new one2- i wen to buy a product and when i asked help from an employee, but they just told me to go other section to ask that section person but there was nobody there to help. It was just she got rid off me from her side.I never want to go lowes incase no choice.
I dont know if Lowes is trying to have this store shut down or that its where they place their C team,... but this place is horrible. Both times Ive shopped here in the past two months, the staff cant seem to do the simplest things. For example, a can of flat black paint: 1 hour (and I was the only shopper in the department). Purchase four screws and four washers: 20 minutes to check out and the cashier charged me two different prices for the same item. I didnt want to grow old there so I just said its fine and paid for it. Drive on and go somewhere else.
Meh. Went in to get paint. Had a question and waited at the paint station while the employee was working on some other orders. I was finally acknowledged but there was still more for him to do. 10 minutes of standing there with my kid and seeing the additional cans he still had to label was enough so I left accomplishing nothing. 2nd bad experience with Lowes and I wonder why I went back.
First off, let me say that I normally love the selection and quality of the plants at Lowe’s vs. Home Depot. I came to get something for a garden bed in front of a clients home. However I left without maki a single purchase because anything that I would have been interested in buying was either dead or dying. Almost nothing was watered!!! Over half the hanging baskets once inside were beyond saving and they are going to lose at least 1/3 if not more of their inventory just because someone isn’t watering their plants. I’m highly disappointed. So now I’m on my way to Home Depot. Let’s hope they at least know how to use a hose.
After a 2-year break from Lowes we decided to drive a little further this time (past an HD) for a large mulch order and a few things for the house. The shelves were a mess, and not one of the 3 associates we asked for help gave us accurate information. We ended up finding things that were out of stock in different areas of the store. Then we went to load our pallet of mulch and it took 20 minutes of waiting for someone with a forklift. We were then informed the pallet was an extra $15, with was a surprise because their competition never charges for pallets when you buy a full pallet. So we went back in and paid $15 for the pallet so we didnt have to hand load 75 bags by ourselves.... because no one was there to help.Another 10 minutes of waiting, and a phone call to the front desk resulted in an associate walking out. He then learned he needed a forklift, and 15 minutes later we left...for the last time.
I like the selection of higher grade options at Lowes. Yes, the prices can be higher too but if youre looking for top of the line options, youre more likely to find them here than at their primary competitor. As with most of the big box stores it can be maddeningly frustrating trying to find what youre looking for and they just arent staffed as well as they used to be, but when all is said and done, I do like shopping at Lowes. It just has an overall cleaner and higher quality feel than its competitors.
My wife and I were visiting the Lowe’s location on Duke Street for a kitchen refresh. My wife went to go get a basket and upon returning she stated “that a RAT had ran across her path.” She was visually upset and speaking about it while an employee overheard and interjected with, “ Ms. they are everywhere .” I was able to make our purchases. I had to escorted my wife back to the vehicle.
Went to Home Depot to get screen mesh they were twice the price of Lowe’s and they didn’t have the size I needed and the guy was very rude went to Lowe’s and they actually help me find the exact size I needed thank u Lowe’s probably not going back to Home Depot….. Ever
Very disappointing online order process. Received notificatiom that my order was ready. Arrived at store and no one was at counter labeled Pickup. After 5 minutes Jessica arrived and although I was directly in front of her rudely yelled past me I can take the next person in line. I said well I am the next person for a pickup and she said I can help customer service too so I can take who ever was next in any line. So I stepped aside and behind three others in the rerurns line. Finally 10 minutes later I was assisted by John who was very courteous and professional. The point of ordering and paying online was to minimize time in store which in this case would have been quicker if I just came to the store and checked out normally.
I purchased an appliance over 2 months ago. Delivery date has changed at least 6 times, but appliance department has never reached out to notify me, either by phone or email. I have contacted them after missed delivery dates. I am still waiting and now understand that delivery date is 2 months from now! Also, they have billed me for a separate delivery charge for appliance part that is needed and ordered with appliance. This delivery charge should have been waived, but they have not taken steps to update billing. Instead, I must track this additional delivery charge and remember to get it credited later! This is terrible service for an appliance costing over $1500.In future, I will not shop at this store and avoid Lowes as well.
Lowes is my go to home improvement store but lately I havent been very happy with my shopping experiences. Over the weekend I purchased 25 bags of Mulch and 10 bags of dirt. They guy at the checkout could not figure out how to apply my 10% coupon. After several minutes of struggling and an ever growing longer line behind me I finally told nevermind. I have a smaller suv and it took me a couple trips to the store to pick up all the Mulch & dirt. The guys in that areas were so busy playing on their phones I couldnt get any help. The last trip of the day I had to go inside the store to get other items and hoped I could use my coupon this time. There was 1checkout line open and about 10 people in line. This is very common with this store!!!!My thoughts1. Train the cashiers to do basic functions. Having a coupon does no good if you cant use it. This cost me more than $10.2. Service is important.3. Lowes is behind on technology by not having self check out. This would also free up cashiers to handle more complex transactions.
Wow this manager is absurd. I bought an inflatable snowman that had nothing inside the package but a piece of concrete and went back to return it. The manager came out and told me he would not “take this loss” and refused to give me a refund. He yelled, was rude and unprofessional. He talked over me and became irate. I have never been treated so terribly. I was shocked. I went to a different Lowe’s in Johns Creek who were extremely nice and empathetic.
Go to the home depot a little further down the road....much more well run. Individual working customer service at the counter didnt know how to do customer service functions. Paged a manager 3 times to the counter and no one showed up...eventually just left after standing there for 30 minutes not being helped. Guess I will have to try again another time when a competent person is manning the counter or the manager decides its worth it to help a customer.
Today I had the worst experience at this Lowe’s store. After 3 visits to the store in 10 days, I was told to come because a truck was coming with mask. Today I thought I had finally caught them in stock. I asked in the paint department as I have been doing and to my surprise the Lowe’s worker said yes we do. As I walked with her two where they were she handed me a pack. As I was checking out at the service desk with my other item, a work order for an installation the service desk cashier says, oh we have mask now, your lucky. She began to ring me up then said, oh I can’t sell you this mask. It says I can’t sell this! WHAT, HOW CAN THIS be correct. I asked for a manger, and he comes and says no, we can not sell this to you. With that I canceled my entire order. I told them if you can’t sell one of the items I want then don’t sell anything to me. That’s terrible customer service. How can you not sell what you sell and I‘m holding It in my hand. Sounds like any mask that come into that store is for EMPLOYEES ONLY. I think it’s time to find me an ORANGE APRON. Shame on you Lowe’s!
I walk into the lawn and garden section looking for Gardenias. Could not find any so went looking for help. No help to be found. Then I went to the cashier that was sitting down playing on his phone. He said he will call someone over. A mother guy comes walking up with a hat on eating his bag of Doritos and says that he will have to look it up. He does not know. So he gets another person who say yes they are in the shade section. No escort. Just go there and it’s not Gardenias it’s Hydrenias. So I’m giving a 1 star for absolutely no customer service and no knowledge and just lazy employees. It’s not like they had a lot to do. I was the only customer in there and no help.
This Lowe’s has great parking for contractors and is really easy to get in and out with a truck. The people are friendly and there rarely is a line at the contractor checkout. Lowe’s has a better selection of trim as well. If you need help loading materials, someone is always there to help. If you are making the decision of going here or Home Depot, come here, it is better!
Last time we visited this Lowes we were trying to quickly replace a washing machine quickly. We were able to get the one we wanted delivered the next day and it was just what we wanted. They have a good selection of washers and the salesman was very knowledgeable. Weve ordered all of our appliances from Lowes and were always impressed. The delivery went smoothly and the washer was installed in record time.
We go to Lowes for higher quality goods. Its the latter of good, better, best when it comes to home improvement stores. Still much less expensive than specialty stores but good enough to walk out knowing we bought quality, even if it was a tad more expensive than Ace or HD.
If you are in the market for paint and need guidance, ask for Cesar or Claudia at store 0615 in Alpharetta . These two went way above and beyond to help us after another Lowes location mixed our paint incorrectly and offered no help whatsoever. It took them awhile to figure out where and why the color turned out so wrong, but they were determined to get it right. We cannot thank Claudia and Cesar enough for their help and determination to fix our issue !!We will gladly drive the 50 mile round trip when we need paint again.
Terrible Customer Service!Ive had good experiences at other Lowes, but this one is just bad. We bought a dishwasher which was delayed and then damaged and then not installed (even though we paid for that). Over two months going back and forth on something that should have been simple. Then when we asked for compensation for this failing, they took half an hour to find the gift card (the customer service people seemed to be of the not my problem affliction).I recommend the Lowes down in Sandy Springs. Or a Home Depot. Really just about anywhere else.
I drove to this store since another store indicated they have an appliance I needed. They verified theres one in inventory - so I placed the order. The next day, I called installation since I never got a call for an installation date/time... they indicated the personal there changed the inventory to none. I called the dept to verify. The girl said shell check & will call me back. 2-3 hrs later, no calls. So I called them again! Was told that girl left & not sure she was coming back later that day. But someone else checked & theres 2 in the back! In the meantime, other depts & customer service do not answer the phone all day. Cant get help!!! Stay away from this store!
Lowes We are waiting on your response as to how you are going to refund our money for a counter top order that has botched from the beginning on your end. The associate that was scheduled between 12-4pm didnt show up until 7pm. Then we had to sign additional paperwork and pay more money before your team would start our order. Now we find out yesterday that not only were you going to try to charge us more money, our order was still being sat on while nobody attempted to contact us to try to get final information. We were told two weeks ago that our project was started...Nothing has been started, you are holding onto over $2,000.00 for wrong paperwork and missteps from your team. We want our monies back in FULL! There is no reason that you should be holding our funds any longer. I told your associate to stop all attempts to salvage this sale as no installation date could be guaranteed, the Purchase Order still wasnt completed as of 5pm last night. We want a full refund NOW. Anything less is not acceptable! The mere fact that you have now further elongated an ongoing renovation due to leak damage in our home is making it even worse. I do not want anyone affiliated with your company anywhere near my home. I expect an answer immediately as we have texts and message from your team falsely telling us that our project was underway. You are now fraudulently holding our funds.
Suppose to recieved a delivery 6/17/202q. Its now 6/21/2021 and I have not recieved my delivery or any emails keeping me abreast. I called and Charlie (Im guessing the logistic manager) was to busy to rectify the problem at hand. First and last time ordering anything from this Lowes location. Probably my last giving all the bull**** I always get from Lowes.
This store has 2 definitive sides. If you are on the building materials side and check out on that side near pro services you are good, the people working there are always on their game and you will be in and out in no time. If you go to the other side or the garden center, god be with you. That side of the store is a train wreck. No one knows what is going on nor are they able to offer any kind of help. I have never seen the garden center have more than one checkout open even during peaks time/seasons.
Couldnt find right size air filter. Employee walks by and says can I help you? I told her what I was looking for and she said if they had them they would be in this general area. When asked if they carried that size she said she didnt know, but she wished she could help me ( apparently as long as it didnt require any effort...)Mentioned experience at checkout and employee said well we try....Tried customer service but she picked up phone when I got to counter and said she would be with me in a bit. Waited a bit then told her I would go to Home Depot....from now on.
Since the moment we purchased our supplies the man on the appliances was rude. We walked in there at 4 hrs before they close and at the moment we got our appliances and ready to pay the cashiers as well as himself were rolling their eyes. When we walked outside we were talking how bad customer service we got at this Lowe’s location and after he finished his shift h tries to impress us by taking off on his red Mercedes after horrible customer service that we receive, we asked him several times if you need to leave you can ask someone to help us out but he deny it but the whole time he was processing our order his face looked like he hated his job but stayed just so he could get our commission. Honestly this was supposed to be a good experience but instead it was horrible. I called several times just to check up on order and even the manager on the delivery department was rude they don’t know how to deal with customer at all. If you like to stay on the phone for HOURS of waiting for them to return your call back just don’t. It’ll take the whole day and you’ll not accomplish anything
Truly the worst customer service Ive ever received. Rude employees who didnt want to assist me to fix an error they made. This cost me about 5 good hours out of my life that Ill never get back and I didnt even end up with the cabinet I was trying to purchase. Lowes lost a customer and we spend a lot for our small business. No more.
I came to this location on 12/4 to buy corner braces to hang shelves in my home. An older man working in hardware was very rude. I asked for his help finding what I needed, and he told me the aisle number. That aisle did not have what I needed. When I returned to ask him again, he told me to try a hobby shop.I left the store a little frustrated, but was even more frustrated when I realized that Lowes does, in fact, carry exactly what I needed. This man in hardware was dismissive, unhelpful, sexist - and he wasted my time. When I called the store to lodge a complaint they gave me the run-around for half an hour. I was never able to speak to a manager. I spoke to two people who said that they would connect me, and then the line was silent on their end for the remainder of the call. Not great customer service.
One of the worst Lowes I have ever dealt with... honestly horrible the person on delivery only answers the phone once in a while, and she will act like she is doing you a huge favor... have been waiting to hear from my delivery all day and no one pick up the phone in that store. get your appliances somewhere else. I wish I had went with Best Buy
I need a lawnmower, and since I was told it would arrive within two days, I decided to order online. It is now two weeks later, and the lawn mower still has not shown up. When I called customer service, I was told that I cannot cancel the order because they shipped it to me. They placed a tracer on it, and promised a follow up. Still nothing..... When I call customer service, I am placed on hold so long (third time now), that my call is dropped. I understand these are difficult times, but wow.... they seem to not care at all.
I have been a long time advocate to shop at Lowes over home depot for decades. I have been shocked, and disheartened by my last big transaction. We moved my mom to GA and got a house big enough for the whole family. This was a big move so things were planned out. On black Friday mom and I found a refrigerator for both of us, and a washer, dryer combo with pedestal. We signed for the house on December 9th. We had set up delivery for the 10th. Unfortunately, this was not going to be the great experience that I was expecting. It is now January 7th and I still dont have my permanent refrigerator.
Very disappointed in the Door department. Have been waiting on a quote since measurement visit was performed almost a month ago, which is something that you have to pay for. Keep being told on the phone and in person multiple times, even today, that “someone will call you today by noon”, and still nothing as of 5PM.
I just had the worst experience ever in a lowes today. I waited over an hour to rent an insulation blowing machine, watch several employees standing around, found one that would help me but he made me get and load my own blower, he then disappeared but I found him, he then tried to help me rent it but then he was already in overtime and had to leave so he disappeared, so then I find another guy willing to help, he called customer service and then went down there, I waited and didnt hear anything for about 15 minutes, so I went to customer service and found him standing in line like any other customer. Customer service then said they are not renting the machine because of covid 19 and I told them I didnt want the insulation, and now they dont want to refund the insulation that I bought a month ago. So then I call the 1-800 number because it was originally an online order and they are closed and I cant leave a message it just hangs up on me. If youre reading this I suggest you go to a different Lowes or go to home Depot where they will rent the machines and sell you whatever you want. Everyone knows home Depot is better anyways it costs more but its worth it. Good luck to you at the store.
Since this is 2020, everything must change. We needed 60 watt candelabra bulbs. Were in neighboring town and drove by another Lowes location. My lovely wife suggested we stop. Myself, being smart, knowledgeable and a man said, no, we will stop at our regular Lowes and Ill just run in, the bulbs are right in the first aisle, straight ahead, just as they have been for last 15 years. Boy, 2020 strikes again, low and behold Lowes moved them 4 aisles away. Felt really dumb since that loving wife of mine wouldnt stop giggling at me. Otherwise, new bulbs replacing burnt out ones, so life is brighter in our lives today! Thanks Lowes.
Went to store for shades , got money deposited and kept hearing we will call you to let t you know if we can install , the store manager say , they don’t know if store can do it or not , gave me false hope that we will call you tomorrow but never called me on and asked to wait 30 mins just to meet him, will never go to this store again and do business with this kind of store manager and associates who doesn’t know their own work
Staff is extremely helpful. Showed them photos of my dryer and they walked me right to the parts that I needed to hook it up and showed me how to hook up a dryer as I have NEVER done it before. Also purchased a refrigerator from them. Stewart in appliances helped us find the correct fridge for our tight space and set up our delivery. Fair price and friendly helpful staff makes for a happy customer that will drive the extra mile to come back! Keep it up!!!!
Shop here a lot recently . This morning I bought some baseboard. But was wrong size . My contractor returned it, but the employee didn’t mention they can’t fully refund the money without receipt. I do have the receipt. Until he came back and I realized the refund was not right. So I went to the store right away and show them the receipt and explained the situation. Only get “ that’s how our system works”. I do understand without receipt, it’s different. But at least you should clearly tell your customers! Not just finished the transaction and then say”that’s how our system work”. Terrible experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!Should have stayed with Home Depot. !
Went in looking for lighting something with good illuminating effects.Got there at a good time, I think other wise I would’ve had to wait for help for a long time.Gentleman I spoke to was very helpful and informative...he suggested a product that is very satisfying so much so I went back and bought another. Thanks Lowes Home Improvement
Ive been here a few times and whenever I needed help there wasnt any associates available. We were there for two hours trying to buy a washing machine. One of the associates was helping someone while we waited (no problem) but when he finished he said it was time for his break and just left us there after waiting for over 30 mins. Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot if you need assistance with something. If you just need to pick something up then youll probably be ok at Lowes.
Worse customer service ever. No one answers the phone when you finally get customer service. Then she is rude and could care less if you get an answer to your problem. Once I got a call back from the department and floor manager, they were very nice. But you have to get past the b____ at customer service.
Kevin who was working in Appliances was very helpful. Store # 0615. He said it was his first week on the job but made our 1hr drive worth it . We went the Lowe’s in Acworth and the lady wasn’t helpful, she didn’t seem to be interested in helping us and told us to check the Alpharetta store for the washer and dryer we needed . We made the trip to Alpharetta and was told they can’t deliver over 20miles . Kevin called a manger and Solved our problem. Great customer service , he is a keeper .
This Lowes was the absolutely WORST purchasing experience in a long time. I was actually told to come back tomorrow when trying to buy an appliance. Would not Price Match or accept Lowes coupons. Absolutely no desire to help customer. So I bought my appliances elsewhere... Home Depot was very helpful and appreciated my business. Even they took my Lowes coupon :)
Excellent! I just moved to the area and stopped in to grab a washer and dryer during the holiday sales. The store was fairly busy as to be expected in regard to the timing of my visit. The associate who assisted me was very prompt and polite, I felt like I was the only customer there. She had a great deal of knowledge on their products which helped me to better weigh my decision factoring my online research. Once we were finished with the sale and the crowd died down she welcomed me to the area also giving me pointers on attractions and a locals advice. I am very impressed with the customer service and personal touch she applied while assisting me!
We bought a washer and dryer here with delivery and installation. The delivery guys had no clue how to install a washer and dryer and didnt have any tools at all. Good thing I was home to assist or they probably would have just left it in my backyard. This is the second time Ive had problems with a delivery from Lowes. They need to get their third-party vendors in check before they promise a delivery and install. If there is a flood or wiring issue its on you Lowes, good luck...
I will never use this location again. I ordered blinds online and marked them to be picked up. Drove an hour to get them, when I arrive they let me know that they don’t have 2 of the blinds in stock even though it said they were in stock online..1 of the blinds they did give me was supposed to be a 34” and they tried to give me a 34” that had already been cut down to 30 1/4 as if I wouldn’t notice! So I had to return that...after I got all that straightened out..I came to home decor to get them cut...3 blinds and I was told 10-15 minutes...it took over an hour. I didn’t feel they deserved my hard earned money at all...very disappointed and will never use them again.
I’d be fair to say, i have had a very bad experience. Usually not the one to complain, but having to put it out..Ordered a Samsung refrigerator and delivery was expected 1 month later. Got postponed twice. And did not even know when would it arrive, unresponsive customer care. Thought the store people would be better as its unfair to blame the corporation of a one off incident. But had the same experience at the store. I visited the store 3 times and my wait time in the store probably accounted for an hour each time.Couple of people tried to help.. but eventually failed me.Not only has the experience been extremely frustrating it has made me reconsider shopping here in the future.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Updated:The store manager contacted me to give them another try, and I did. However, it still didnt go well. The driver finally showed up with my refrigerator but it was damaged. They were also supposed to bring a gas range but the driver brought a gas range installation kit instead. He actually went to my kitchen with the kit and asked me: Hey! Where is your gas range? WOW.....I had to go back to the store and talk to the managers to fix their mistakes, and then they finally delivered and installed both of my appliances. But no its not over yet.....the gas pipe that they installed had a small piece of plastic stuck by the connector and caused a leak. I found it a few hours later and fixed it myself.Overall, I wanted to give them some credit for trying but I am still very disappointed for the whole experience. It took them total of 4 attempts to deliver my appliances and countless of hours dealing with the customer reps, managers, and the driver.....-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This store has ridiculous customer service reps.I ordered 2 appliances for delivery in the morning, but for some reason the driver never showed up. I waited til afternoon and called the store for the status. The 1st customer rep. simply told me they have no way of contacting the driver and hang up on me. I called back and demanded to speak to the store manager, and she just kept on putting my line on hold. I waited for another hour and called back the 3rd time, and demanded to speak to the store manager. This time the rep. accused me for screaming on the phone and hurting her ear. The most un-professional part of this is - they dont feel theres anything wrong of them to not able to contact the driver, not even trying at all.I drove over to the store, filed the complain to the service manager and cancelled my order.Way to blow a simple $2000+ order guys. I truly believe the customer service reps in this Lowes are under cover agents hired by the Home Depot. They did a fantastic job pushing my business away.
I ordered 11 light fixtures online. Of the 11, 5 were the same item. I got notification my order was ready for pickup. I did not look at the details of the email. I arrived and only two of the five were included and the service person told me they canceled 3 of them as they were not in stock. They were in stock when I ordered and got confirmation they were in stock. After a half hour the lighting person found the other three. Another light had obviously been opened and returned as one of the parts bags had been opened and stapled closed. The sales person tried to tell me it shipped that way. There were no others in stock, so I still see if all the parts are there. Not an experience I wish to repeat. When you order online, get confirmation and it takes 45 minutes to check out, not good!
Wheres Lowes experience Ive ever had went to the plumbing section plumber had no idea what kind of pipe I was looking for or what it was for did not seem knowledgeable at all took me 20 minutes to find him went up to the service desk waited 15 minutes nobody helped me walked out I stopped going to home Depot for this
If I could give 0 stars I would. We bought a Samsung Washer and Dryer with the pedestals sometime the beginning of November 2018. They only had 1 pedestal so we were told they could get another one in 5 days. This was a Sunday so the following Monday was the scheduled delivery date. Monday the office calls and says the driver is having truck issues and it 2ill have to be Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around, they show up with just the washer and dryer NO pedestals!!! We refuse delivery, call the office and someone named JP says they dont have the pedestals in stock but they have them in a Location in Atlanta. (Where our 1 pedestal went that was in the store when we bought them I have no idea or they just lied to us). So we are supposed to have them delivered Thursday. Thursday rolls around, the Manager calls and says that they didnt have them in that store in Atlanta but they were told they would be there. He then tells us he doesnt know when they will have them. Says to give him some time to figure it out. Calls back a couple of hours later and says they can deliver the whole package on Monday!!!!! At this point my frustration is already through the rough. They actually show up on Monday, Washer,Dryer, and both pedestals. I just discovered today that one of the pedestals has a HUGE DENT in the side of it that the installation guys didnt tell us was there!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know not all Lowes stores are like this. The Manager is giving us a credit. But it should not be this hard to buy and get delivered the product you purchase!!!!!!!!
The only issue I had a man in appliance dept told me they didnt have the parts for a dryer i bought on line which was a dryer from lowes all i needed was a electric cord dryer vent i found it myself then I asked a girl about vent and electric cord she was very helpful girl was great at ck out
I used to love my local Lowes store in Ohio. They were always nice, knowledgeable with DIY projects and genuinely cared about doing the right thing by the customer when any issue occurred. Well..... your in the wrong store if thats what your expecting of this Lowe’s. People are unresponsive at best, disrespectful at worst. If you call they don’t answer or transfer to voicemails which are never replied to. Have questions about deliveries? nope, no help. Want a refund, get ready to be questioned and feel demeaned... worst store i have ever been to, EVER. Had to call corporate Lowe’s due to the most recent issue, well see if they resolve my dishwasher half installed issue...
Poor line management. I have been here twice in the last month. Both times in an extended line with one cashier. Other staff walked by multiple times and never offered to get help, open another register, and/or apologize for the wait. Once I finally made it to the cashier, I still received no apology. Based on these interactions, I would say the associates dont care and the management does not care. If the management cared, they would be monitoring the line of four to seven people and open up a second register.
Good store and always busy. My biggest complaint is if you are not handicapped or pregnant you just about need to take a bus from the lot to the store. I worry about females alone after dark having to park so far away when so many reserved spaces are not utilized at that time.
In all my years going to different Lowes locations, Ive never had a cashier in the gardening check out literally refuse to answer a (very simple) question posed to her. I only needed a second opinion on whether or not she thought another bag of dirt was needed to fill the 2 containers I was buying dirt for. It was not by any means a gardening question. I ended up turning to the customer behind me for her advice. Ridiculous someone cant have the courtesy & confidence to interact about something that easy. She kept saying she was only a cashier and couldnt/wouldnt give gardening advice. Train you people to be for real, Lowes! Otherwise, a very nice visit up to that point; and the guy who had helped me in that department was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I was not a happy shopper, they are moving the store around & no 1 is around to direct you to where they now put the different items. They could at least post what they moved originally to where it is now, so you dont have to go looking all over the store. What was really scary is that online it said they had 6 items in stock & I was told their inventory could be off by that much. That would tell me that this is a really poorly run store!!
I went to this location and i was expecting the same service as n.main st/windwardi was wrong.this older gentleman helped me pick up my 160lb box. after i paid for my tool cabinet. the customer service desk is more like what do you need? pay before i can assist you but there was no assistance!!!!i took the heavy box, loaded by myself on my truck and gave the kart back.not coming back! they need to start welcoming customers and asking if they need help.
Do Not Buy Appliances From Lowes! On May 25, 2-019 I ordered new Samsung kitchen appliances. The refrigerator and stove were delivered a week later, with 3 areas damaged on the refrigerator. A week later they were replaced. The microwave didn’t get installed until June 12th. The dishwasher was supposed to installed on June 12th, but it was a ½ inch too tall as Samsung dishwashers often are. I ordered a Kitchenaid instead. It arrived 2 weeks later and sat at Lowes for 2 weeks waiting for their installer who never returned their calls or mine. I told them to get another installer. 4 days later their installer went to pick it up at the store and told them it couldn’t be installed because it was damaged. Could someone not figure it out while it sat in front of them for nearly 3 weeks? So, I bought all these appliances on a Lowes credit card. I had to make the first payment before the first appliance was delivered and 7 weeks later I still don’t have my dishwasher! Go to Home Depot. They have never treated me like this!!
Good. But mobile pickup stand needs improvement. When only one associate is working pickup, the kiosk can be vacant for extended periods of time. This is the big problem with mobile apps. Its easy to build one and get customers to use. The problem is always the execution on location.Spend more time on that & theyll have happier custimers.
This Lowes keeps loosing stars. Everytime I visit something is out of stock or rearranged and just plain hard to find. Today I spent 20 minutes looking for a small rack to store folders. A plate rack was perfect. I went to the outdoor area and loaded up 10 bags of mulch. At check out the metal rack did not have a barcode. So the employee would not let me buy it. Said I had to walk back and get another one. I asked him to look it up. Its a plate rack or to call someone. It waisted so much of my lunch break time to not even get the main item j needed. The mulch was just because I was there. Amazon and online shopping is way better and these time consuming annoyances are why retail shops are struggling.
The website shows the wrong aisle for the item I was trying to find. Had to ask to several employees until I found the right aisle. They only had one to choose from. Very typical for Lowes store. Ive never had a great experience at Lowes its always just been adequate
I am sure the store is fine but I like to shop online and this Lowes is yet to learn how to run this part of their busness. I had a simple order, just a few items. Came to pick them up 24 hours later and the order was not pulled. They pulled some of it (from the garden department) as I waited and told me to go pick up the rest in the garden department myself. I went there and the garden department told me to go back, bacause the online department people are supposed to give it to me. You can guess what the online department told me... a vicious circle of not me. In the end they did not even have what I ordered and I had to wait in the customer service line for a refund. So if you thought that shopping online is easy, quick and convinient... well, not at this Lowes. Colossal waist of time, and I still do not have what I needed! 😟
I bought a washer and Dryer online and scheduled delivery for 12/09/2015. I got a call from a rather rude lady from their delivery contractor. She stated that the delivery would be between 8:30 and 11:30 the next day. I waited until 1:30 and called the store. They said they would check on it and call me back. I did not hear anything from them and then called back at 3:30. They then informed me that the order had been cancelled. I contacted the store and they assured me that it would be there at 9:00AM the next day. They showed up this morning and did not have the dryer, I went to my Lowes around the corner and they informed me that it was coming from the Duke drive location and they would call me right away.It is know 2 hours later and I have not heard a word from them.
My fiancé and I ordered a grill, received an order #, came in to pick it up, and the pick up crew couldn’t find it. Left a phone number for them to call me, and they did telling me they found it in a box with the wrong label. Came to pick it up again and they again couldn’t find it. Gave my number, no call back. Called back in next day, and had to talk to someone new and start over. Very unorganized and not very friendly
Lowes used to have a great selection of Special Bolts, Nuts and related Clips & Retainers. There drawers are getting fewer and empty. They have a lot of package stuff, but all sizes are not there.I also hate the multi fit heads many of the hardware items now have - nothing really fit good. One head can not fit all as they are trying for: Hex, Flat Blade, Phillips and Square Drive.
If I could give this Lowe’s a negative star I would. Understaffed is an understatement. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve pressed the help button and it’s gone unanswered. If you do get help it’s usually pointless. The gray haired guy in the hardware department is so rude. He gets mad when you ask him a question. Also I always seem to have to wait in line to check out because there’s only 1-2 people checking out. I won’t be back.
Waited 10 minutes at the paint desk until I actually called the store to tell them to send someone to help. No one showed up... called again and she hung up on me. It’s like a ghosts town. But they sure like to virtue signal with 20 parking spots dedicated to handycap and vets. Glad Home Depot eats their lunch
Bad online order experience. I order few items with a $10 off $50 coupon. Next day, call lowes to see if its ready. Lowes said they couldnt find 1 item on my list and will look again. 3hr later no call, I drove by planning to pick up whatever available. Some other guy helped me out cuz the first guy on the phone was at lunch. He couldnt find it either, and if i want to use the coupon I need to add something to make total $50. So i walked around and 5 minutes later found that very same item that they couldnt find in 3hr. However my order was already cancelled so they need manager to override and give me refund then repurchase the whole order. Took me 1.5hr from the moment i set foot into the store. The manager was nice but... their employees need to know things better, im a woman and actually know where most stuff are at lowes, i dont even work at lowes.
This store and service is pretty bad.I ordered a dishwasher in the store. It was not delivered even after 10 days.I was informed the day before that it would be delivered the next day and later after no show found it was on backlog for many more days.I asked to cancel the order and the store employee takes a lot of time and says would call back on canceling the order.Very poor.No thanks.Home Depot here I come and never again to Lowes.
I came here searching for cut and puncture resistant gloves however I was met with poor customer service and a weak selection. I asked three different employees and none of them offered to take me to the sections they recommended and all of their descriptions of their sections were vague. Plus, didnt have gloves and its a hardware store?
Huge mistake ordering kitchen cabinets from here. they sell cabinets the manufacturer cannot actually make then take no ownership of getting the problem resolved. Absolute horrible customer service. spent thousands of dollars and 7 months later still dont have acceptable cabinets. They arent even special, just white cabinets...Horrible, Horrible service. I would urge anyone considering purchasing cabinets from here to spend your money elsewhere. its simply not worth it.
Lowes is nice, sometimes a little cheaper. I personally have a hard time finding anything oppose to Home Depot. I found an item on line at Lowes, and it took forever to find! No associates around to help and the aisle markings arent the best. One very convienient thing Home Depot does for items on line (pick up in store) is list what aisle the item is on. Lowes, I think you need to step it up a bit.
Had 6 Long pieces of decking board delivered. When I arrived home it was delivered exactly where I had requested. Much to my surprise, instead of dumping it, the boards were neatly tied together resting on two scrap boards to keep them off the ground. Along with the receipt. Very professional thanks Lowe’s!
I made a second attempt to return an electric pressure washer. This time with information from the manufacturer that they have an agreement with Lowes to honor the 1 year warranty. Lowes stated (on their receipt too) they only return for 30 days. They were polite but unfortunately not helpful. I worked at 1 years ago. They have vendor support phone numbers they could call to clear this up. Instead this is my problem to solve with the manufacturer. I may edit if any thing improves.
Was supposed to have a washer a dryer delivered on a Friday morning. I waited all day, missed work, and was given the run around between them and their third party delivery company XPO.When they finally delivered the appliances at 10:30 at night, the delivery guy discovered that the dryer was broken. The next morning I spoke with the manager and asked if they could deliver it that day; the least they could do for me waiting all day missing work for a broken dryer. She did not call me back with an answer after 2 hours so I called them to see if it was possible. I was told it would be Sunday but given no time.I really dont want to spend another day like I spent Friday. This store is EXTREMELY inconsiderate of peoples time and unsympathetic when their time is wasted.
This store has no concept of customer service. This has been an ongoing issue at this location. I spent 30 minutes in the store without anybody asking if I needed help. After finding the items I needed, I stood in line waiting to check out for an additional 10 minutes. I gave up and went to HD to make my purchase.
So we actually ordered a drill online for store pickup in Sandy Springs, but it sold out of inventory before they could fill our order. Its a highly rated drill and its on sale today. We recieved a call from the Sandy Springs store that they couldnt find one in the store anywhere. Very very kindly, they found it in stock at the Alpharetta store, and transferred our order over, making sure it was the same sale price. We picked it up without issue. Thank you Lowes, you made my husband very happy today!
After 3 attempts at Lowes customer service, and 3 attempts with the credit card company to get refund for an already returned item, i made my way to the customer service area while extremely pissed.Requel, the customer service rep was professional, tenacious, and persistent to find the paperwork from 6 weeks back, and pushed the refund thru in 20 minutes.Shame on Lowes, kudos Requel
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING INSTALLED THROUGH LOWE’S INSTALLATION SERVICES!!! #lowes, #loweshomeimprovement,I have been very patient but after being told by Ty Brady, a Service Production Supervisor in the call center, that he was the “highest person” that I could speak with and that he was not going to address my “irrelevant concerns” I am disgusted and done!!Y’all know that I hardly every post much less air my complaints on social media but this is my third experience with poor installed sales service from Lowe’s. 1.) Granite installation botched in Lowe’s in Pelham, Alabama 2.) Gas stove installed improperly and the technician left my former mother-in-law and children in the home with a gas leak. I noticed the “funny smell” when I got home from work. Lowe’s in Suwannee, GA 3.) Windows and door installation that originally started in February is still not complete and it is the end of June!! Lowe’s in Alpharetta, GA.Why did I do this to myself again?!?Ok so here are the highlights of this experience- Incomplete work- all stickers left on windows, blinds re-installed improperly so that they fall out when you pull the cord to open them (they just left 1/2 the screws out y’all!! Really?!? Who does that?), installation of defective parts, broken item in my dining room.- No consideration for my time- last minute reschedules, multiple no call no shows ( wasted time off from work), then to top it all off after the last no call no show I told Lowe’s that the contractors ( Right Angle) could not come back to my home and that I needed a different installer to complete the work. The installer shows up unannounced in the middle of the day ( did I mention that I work?) and freaks my teenage daughter out because he is knocking on the door then just sits outside my house!! She called me nervous... they are lucky that I didn’t call the police like your girl at the BBQ in Oakland!! Then Lowe’s called me an asked if they were able to complete the work!!!-Errors that resulted in me losing time off work- ordered the wrong door, when the correct door finally came in Lowe’s incorrectly sent the door out for delivery and the installer couldn’t pick it up to install it on the morning of the install. Confusion between Lowe’s and the installer which resulted in no one coming to complete work that had previously been scheduled and that I took off work for.To top all of this off Ty Brady, the call center supervisor who apparently thinks he is the CEO of Lowe’s Home Improvement, had the audacity to be rude and condescending to me when I called to complain about the service that I’d received and ask to have a different installer repair the damaged parts that were installed!!Then when I took the time to write out a complaint on Lowe’s website I got an error!! So here we are.
Looked online to verify what I needed was in-store. They were not busy, the store was clean, I found what I needed, and the price was as expected. I browsed and the went to checkout. No wait in the checkout line, the cashier was friendly and professional. Overall good experience.
Usually a pleasant shopping experience, but the customer service is really starting to slip at this location. Over half an hour to get pine straw! Whats worse is nobody seemed to care as cars lined up at the outdoor trailer. Three request by separate people finally resulted in assistance.
Pretty good place for buying things. Renting carpet cleaner machine- not so much. They are pushy with selling the chemicals that cost as much as the equipment, acting like youll damage the unit if you use a different brand. The lady gasped when I said Id use hot tap water only and again told me it could break the unit. I get the unit home and it says hot tap water is what you use. It gave great results on my white carpet as I had no pet stain or employees spreading their BS onto my carpet.
This is the most poorly ran business Ive encountered. Uniformed staff, understaffed, severely mismanaged. The tool guy is a rude young kid. The paint guy is 145 and is never around when you need him and is clueless. The guy in the hardware department is hands down the rudest person Ive dealt with. Im so sorry for asking you a question. EVERY TIME i come to this lowes theres 1 register open and 35 people in line and that one register is on the phone begging for help. No wonder lowes is a sinking ship. I wont be back. Here I come Home Depot.
If i could give them less than 1 star, I would. They are the WORST with NO concept of Customer Service. I ordered a cooktop and downdraft from them and after getting the runaround from them and having to call them and go see them at the store several times, I ended up cancelling the order. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN
Where are the employees? Searched for two items for more than 5 minutes each, and during those times, only saw one employee. When I saw him, he looked right at me, then averted his eyes, looking like, in too busy to help you. I couldnt find the second item, so I had to hunt down somebody to help me in a different department. He came back with me, couldnt find the product either. He tracked down the guy who was supposed to be in my department, and that happened to be the guy who blew me off before. The two of them managed to find the product high on a shelf, then the first guy from the other department proceeded to get a ladder to get it. The department staffer then sat down on a stack of products and proceeded to complain about Lowes and working there... Sad.
Horrible experience at Lowes today. I tried to purchase some paint and could not get any help. Several people tried to help but could not assist with mixing paint. One employee even tried calling a manager and still no one came to assist. Very disappointed by the entire experience.
Not only is this one of my favorite locations, but they also go out of their way to help those in need. Yes, its true! A couple of friends and I decided to build a Roof Top Garden on top of the largest homeless shelter in the Southeast and Lowes stepped up to the plate and helped by donated $100 worth of lumber to build some of the raised gardens that would go on top of this Atlanta shelter that shelters and feeds over 700 men, women and children each day. So a big Thank You to Kevin for his compassion and desire to help those in need!
The last few times I have been here I have been unable to get assistance after pushing the help button. I used to love shopping here because I could find help when I needed it. No so much anymore. Understaffed and a lot of the time the staff that are there dont know where items in the store are.
This Lowes is one of my favorites.I always tell people If youre going to do remodeling through Lowes.. go to Mansell, Windward, or Johns Creek. but the reason I like the Mansell location is because of 3 people, Lexi, Cherise, and Randall (*spelling could be incorrect). Randall is one of the store managers and he really gets things done. When someone says Working under Randall is tough.. thats a sign that he takes his position very seriously. Any time I have an issue at the customer service desk, he makes it right, and very quickly.Cherise is one the appliance salesmen and I have dealt with her on several occasions. She knows a lot about the appliances, has a very honest approach (unlike most salesmen) and will easily direct you to the best options for your home or kitchen, as well as a select group of installers she knows can do what needs to be done to insure a great experience.Lexi is one of the cashiers at the front desk, she greets everyone with a very comforting smile and always (genuinely) asks how my day is going, and I appreciate that.It can be easy to deal with managers that dont move until motion is needed, salesmen who mislead and undermine the difficulty of a task.. leading to eminent confusion, and cashiers who seem to be disgruntled and waiting for lunch break, but at this store.. I guarantee you will not experience any of those things. Randall takes appropriate preventative actions, Cherise knows her stuff, and Lexi is as sweet as can be. Go ahead, go up to the store and see for yourself.
A bit frustrating due to some confusion about whether the mulch I bought was out of stock and one of the employees was not helpful at all, but with the help of other team members and the customer service association it all worked out and everyone else was very friendly and helpful.
Their delivery service sucks, I bought a freezer because I need it, the saleswoman assured me that it would arrive the next day, now its 4 days and nothing, I call customer service and they tell me that it is not in the system, their service is terrible, I put a star because not there less, and it is not the first time that happens to me, terrible service
First, I want to start by complimenting Jarrod at 4925 Windward Parkway, Alpharetta, GA stores paint department. While he had only two months experience, when I asked for 12 gallons of olivewood semi-transparent, without my prompting, he confirmed the order NOT ONCE, but TWICE before injecting pigment to ensure I got the right product. He did his job perfectly and appeared to be proud of working at Lowes and seemed to care about my experience. This was a total relief after dealing with the unprofessional service I received among a group of tattoed hooligans at 10580 Duke Drive, Alpharetta, GA. I was counting on Lowes to help me with my project, and instead, the stole the fun right out of it.Today, I have spent over eight hours trying to sand and scrape Timberline off from my log cabin after applying over 10 feet of it on the front of my house before realizing that its red hue was not what we had ordered. As I do this today, I hate that crew at your Duke Drive location, and I would love to get retribution somehow for ruining my house. They didnt care, and that makes me crazy.Heres how it occurred:After having gotten numerous samples (including the Timerline), my wife, I, and my brother-in-law decided on olivewood which best matched the stonework surrounding our house. We went to the Duke Drive location. I had briefly wandered off to look for something else, and when I returned, my wife informed me and my brother-in-law that they only had several gallons of the brown base needed for the order. Then I saw a guy with tatoos, another older gentleman, a woman, and one other employee all confering at the end of the aisle. I think five of them actually, which is a lot of conferring. Suddenly they toted 9 gallons of base to the mixing area. I was confused where they got it from all of a sudden. 3 gallons suddenly gave birth to 9. They mixed the order, and we took it home, applying it to the house. After realizing the heavy red pigment was not our choice, my wife called Tracy. My wife mistakenly thought that they had used tan base for our olivewood, but the manager correctly insisted that it was not possible, that the machine would not allow them to do that. When my wife finally realized that the order wasnt even the needed Olivewood, but was simply Timberline (their most popular brand, which we have been told at least a dozen times by Lowes employees), the managers response was, oh good. I wanted to make sure our process was right for future customers. This response was infuriating, because she seemed completely okay with the front of our cabin having been completely ruined as long as her process hadnt been deviated, causing her to lose money from their next customer. Moreover, after speaking with tattoo whod mixed the order, she returned and objected strongly, saying that tattoo had insisted that he had explained tan versus brown base and that he had mixed the Timberline specifically at her request. This could mean nothing else than my wife was lying.Problem is, she didnt even know the word Timberline, so his assertion is simply untrue. We would no more have remember that word than the Wenge which was also among our samples at home. Moreover, tattoo couldnt possibly explain how, when I arrived from the hardware section, I had been told that there werent the needed gallons of base for Olivewood. Going on and on about the base, I insisted with the manager, that at the end of the day, the only thing that mattered was that my wife had said the word Olivewood. Period. YOur base configurations dont matter to us.So Jarrod ranks among saints in my book. And as far as the group of hooligans at your Duke Drive location, they can all go straight to hell. Theyre punks and they dont listen. My wife is not a liar.So we are owed--at the very least--and earnest apology. And I am going to wait for it.

2022-03-23Another store with poor customer service. Too bad as they have some good stuff and several tool prices beat hope Depot. But customer service is just as bad as the Home Depot nearby

2022-05-186 people in line for returns and 1 very slow person working a register. I told my wife the last time we came here I’d never return here. But here I am expecting different results. It’s always something at this store that make shopping here a miserable experience.

2022-05-27I bought first time at this store. The product was rust stain remover.I used the recommended quantity and it did not even removed a tiny spot of rust at my garage.on returning, they said they can’t not return it because they said I used it. Home Depot never does that. That’s is the difference between Lowes and Home Depot. Will never come here again and buy anything.

2022-06-07Shout out to the staff at Duke Drive Lowes! I went in to buy a tool which came with a free gift, and it wasnt ringing up correctly in their system. I had 8 people help me get it straightened out! They wouldnt let me leave until I was fully satisfied! Oh, and the store is always clean and well organized! Probably the best Lowes that Ive been to!

2022-06-23Purchased a tub faucet on line. They absolutely refused to let me return it at the store. They are so incompetent they couldn’t even print out my order information. Dave the manager is absolutely worthless. I’ve become a permanent Home Depot shopper

2022-05-28I bought a Hisense French Door refrigerator from Lowes on March 29. On May 25 (8 weeks after delivery), the refrigerator AND freezer quit working. I have contacted the Hisense customer service, was told they would have a repair person contact me. He never contacted me, so I called and contacted him. He came to my house 2 days later and determined the compressor did not work. I was told he would let Hisense know so they could send one of THEIR technicians to come out and repair my refrigerator. Why they didnt do that in the first place is still unknown. Meanwhile, I called this Lowes store on Duke Drive and asked to speak with a store manager. When I FINALLY got a human being on the phone, I got cut off mid sentence and the guy said: Lemme research this and Ill call you back before noon. Im glad I didnt hold my breath. I would be dead. I have not received a call back and dont expect one. They dont give 2 cents if my customer service experience on a $2000 purchase is taken care of or not. I will never darken the door of Lowes again. I hope I dont need to explain I will never purchase another Hisense product again.

2022-06-03One of my favorite Lowes close to me. Managers are always helpful with clearance items.
