Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
Bad experience returning an item Saturday April 2 at 9pm. The return itself was successful, but staff member rude, did not speak to me or make eye contact, I seemed to be really annoying her by my presence. If management wants more details please let me know. Other staff I interacted with that evening were all great.
1st time at this store was Saturday 3/19/22, 2nd visit was Monday, 3/21/22. Both times I had pleasant experiences. This Sandy Springs location has a thousand times better customer service experience than the Chamblee-Dunwoody (Peachtree Rd) location! Every single employee I walked passed on both visits all greeted me and made eye contact, in addition to offering help. Whatever they did not know off top, they looked up for me or asked another associate. They truly went above and beyond to assist me in the gardening department both visits. I had to return for the second visit because I did not realize that 2 products prices had scanned incorrectly, overcharging me compared to the sticker/posted prices, so that was a bit inconvenient. Also, this store location & parking lot is considerably smaller compared to the Chamblee (Peachtree Rd) location.
I came by this location with my kid to check and see what they had in the store. We were looking for some items for her outside deck and specifically the houseplants. We found five items in this location which we purchased and was on our way without any issues with the cashier at the garden counter. All of the plants that we looked at appear to be healthy and well hydrated.
I would say it was a strongly mediocre experience. Their selection was fine, but a lot of the employees didnt seem to be very knowledgeable about their own store or check out options. I got to the register and went to pay with Samsung Pay, which they had a sign for, only to be told something was wrong with my card three times. I went to another register to try it as I had just used it 20 minutes eariler at another store only to find out from another emplpyee oh, we dont take Samsung Pay, something is wrong with it. People were nice though.
This store has gone down tremendously over the years. The management and workers at this store are completely unprofessional. On several occasions I’ve encountered workers at this particular store being less than helpful when prompted for assistance. I’ve also encountered several employees who are not equipped to work in customers service and do not have the level of training needed to properly engage with customers. I’ve talked to two managers at this location about the issue. However, it is clear that the issue will continue as the store does not have good leadership in place. Considering all of the efforts that Lowes goes to in order to align their brand to the military community and their members, this particular store desperately needs some corporate oversight. Being a veteran and member of the Sandy Sprigs community I expect better. I will not be retiring to the store as I find a good portion of the staff extremely rude and uncommitted to simply doing their job.
Lowe’s consistently does not cater to contractors well.I’m writing this while I’m waiting in the window/door dept for 30mins to pick up my order I placed this morning. They’ve paging this whole time. I even called the store for them to page someone again. There are long wait times and little efficiency with making and picking up orders. Often times I’m sent elsewhere in the store to pick up my order or the service counter just doesn’t have my order information.Upside is that they have more product availability than other home improvement stores
Treasure and Jamesia gave me the Best customer service I could ask for. The experience was Awesome at Lowe’s returning desk. There was a problem with the computer not finding the receipt to return an item. But not matter what they kept trying to find the receipt in the system. They didn’t give up. They was very polite and had nothing but nice words to say. I want to Thank Treasure and Jamesia for the Awesome customer service that was provided to me. I high recommend Lowe’s in Sandy Springs
Terrible experience with Lowes blinds purchase and installation. Installer contractor Direct Blinds and Shutters seemed incompetent and was on a personal phone call the entire time he was at my home. He drilled two holes in the wrong place in a wooden door and did not repair it. He also scraped up and marred newly painted walls under two windows. It has been weeks and nobody at Lowes will take responsibility for the damage and have a qualified contractor handle the repairs. They want to send out the same unprofessional blind installer for a repair he is not qualified to do, or I have to find my own contractor and have the repair done myself. I have called Lowes numerous times and spent hours dealing with this problem only to receive different stories from different people virtually every time I call. Nobody will provide me anything in writing. They refuse to manage the situation and take care of it. This is nuts! Do not use Lowes for contractor services.
I ordered a patio furniture on their site. They missed the delivery date and time even though it was confirmed. I had to call 3 times for them to figure out what Happened. They delivered it one week later and delivery guys were rude. They tried to bring a wrong furniture set. I had to go to their truck and point out to them which one was my order. They also mentioned it’s not their problem order is messed up and has to do with the store. Basically the company couldn’t figure out how to deliver a simple order , no one took responsibility and :or tried to resolve the issue. They conveniently charged 79$ for delivery. Don’t order from Lowe’s !!!!
I thought anything in this shelf would be 40 percent off, right? Well nothing at all. It is in the next aisle! I spoke to a manager to get 40 percent off but she did not seem to care. Maybe I should have gone to home depot. I call this deceiving advertising 07.20.2019
The store is great , has a lot of everything you might need for any home. Staff usually is good here with some exceptions. For the most part they are helpful and willing to assist you with any inquiries. Some just look at you and walk the other way. I have been going to this location for close to 10 years and i am always satisfied
If you want to find something dont go there it is impossible to find any help. I live in sandy spring and every time I go there in past year there is no help. Today I was trying to talk to supervisor in store I had to wait for about 20 min and no one showed up. Homedepot have much better customer service. These stores came around for their customer service but I guess not now.
I was saved by two employees Jameson and Kris! I could not find the cultivator tool I needed in the designated aisle suggested by the Lowe’s app. Instead of turning me away the two employees went hunting for the tool and found 2 unopened boxes with 7 cultivators on a top shelf. They had to use a lift gate and all, but were in great spirits.
Don’t rent trucks/vans from here. We called the day before and asked about their rental van/truck inventory. They said they had some available; come right when we open. We’ll, we arrived at 6AM to find out that the van & trucks that are there are NOT FUNCTIONING. Why would the person that we spoke with from Pro Services the DAY BEFORE not state this fact?So frustrating—we tried speaking with the store manager and he was extremely disrespectful of our time and unprofessional.
We ordered a fire table online. It was damaged during delivery. My wife made several phone calls to return the fire table but found it very difficult to talk to a manager. Eventually, they scheduled an appointment for the fire table to be picked up at our house. No one ever arrived to pick it up. After more phone call attempts without talking to anyone, I returned it to the nearest Lowes. The customer service lady was pleasant and credited my account.
Bought washer /dryer. Bought from lowes over others due to delivery/installation date.Day of delivery comes and no one shows up. No one calls. 100% unacceptable.Call lowes and they tell me a different delivery date than their own 3rd party delivery company.Zero communication and spending over $1400 on something that never gets delivered is unacceptable.Do not bring your hard earned money here. Try Home Depot. Maybe other Lowes dont treat their customers this way.
The store staff with one exception acted hostilely and aggressively. They were ill-informed, unprofessional, and rude. If I hadnt already conducted and completed my purchase online, then I would have most definitely sought out an alternative retailer! The only redeeming component was the one gentleman who didnt just understand customer service, he valued offering an excellent store experience for customers, too.
At the beginning of April I applied for a new credit card from Lowes in order to receive a 20% discount on my first new purchase. My daughter needed a new refrigerator. On April the 19 I ordered a LG 20.2 on line at the Sandy Springs store in Atlanta GA. Delivery date was April 28th. On the 29th we called the store to see if they had a LG 20.2. After waiting for 45 minutes on the phone we were told that they had one and it would be delivered May 9th. After much discussion they agreed to deliver on April30. The refrigerator was delivered and a large dent was made by the delivery drivers who refused to remove the fridge doors to install. They even took the condo front door off the hinges to get it inside. On May 1st my daughter spoke with Kenny, store manager, and he stated they would deliver a new fridge and give us another 25% off and pick up the damaged fridge. Kenny stated that both refrigerators would remain on credit card until transactions were finished. We agreed. The delivery drivers arrived on May 2nd refused to deliver the new fridge and pick up damaged fridge. Excuse was they needed 4 people. I called the store manager, Leo, on May 2nd and told him the situation. He assured me that delivery drivers could remove fridge doors to install a fridge. Explained that I did not want the same delivery drivers. On Monday morning May 3rd the same delivery drivers arrived and still refused to deliver a new fridge and pick up the damaged one.. After spending 4 hours one phone and trying to speak with a manager. I spoke with Keshia, delivery manager at Lowes, and told her to cancel the order. This has been a NIGHTMARE. When I get my credit card bill I hope the two fridge charges have been removed. They sure as hell will not get any payment from me. In fact we should be reimbursed for wasted time on phone and days missed from work waiting on deliveries that never happened. Save time and money...go to Home Depot
Easily the worst Lowes store ever. Ive tried being patient and given this store multiple chances over the last two years to improve, but this past weekends experience was terrible. The associates are clueless, not willing to help, and flat out lazy. The lawn and garden center is like a scene out of the Walking Dead - materials and debris strewn about, checkout stations look like theyve been abandoned (they have), and customers stumble about trying to load bags and plants themselves. Inside and out, this store hardly ever has what you are looking for. Even when you order online for curbside pickup, you wait 20 minutes and eventually have to walk inside to get someones attention and explain that you had an online order...only to be directed to the item and instructed to carry it out yourself. This store is ridiculously bad.
Im so disgusted with this store and their service Ill just say this. If you purchase an appliance from them you have a good chance of wishing you hadnt. Please read all the negative reviews regarding appliance purchase experiences. Finally, what ever you do never have them do your install.
Please do not buy appliances from this place. This was my first time buying appliances from Lowes and has been the worst experience ever. They are a scam. When I ordered my refrigerator, it came with major scratches all on it. I called back Lowe’s and they said we had an option of buying another refrigerator now and get it delivered ( I had already waited 10 days for the delivery of the first one that was purchased). Once they receive the refrigerator that was scratch they would of deposit the money right back into my account. So I went to a different location to buy another refrigerator to get it earlier or else I would have to wait for Lowe’s to pick it up process the return and deposit the funds back into the account. I purchased the new refrigerator and has been over 20 days and have yet to receive my refund. I now lost the $1699 and the refrigerator that was scratched is no longer in the system. Lowe’s refuses to make the refund. Home Depot has never been a bad experience like Lowe’s have been. I will never shop at a Lowe’s ever again
Came in looking for shop lights. Walked around for thirty minutes got nothing. The two people there paged someone repeatedly. Nobody ever showed up. Called their number and got put into hold loop. Tried to find someone but nobody was willing to help, but would page somebody. Called the main phone number again while in the store and was told well page someone I waited another ten minutes until someone who just clocked in showed up. Was told I guess theyre at lunch. This is exactly how you lose customers. Ace Hardware and Home Depot do a way better job. Theres no reason to shop here.
Incompetent! Order a dishwasher and over a month ago, Decided to cancel it after the 2nd no show from their subcontractor I have called and been on the phone for 10+ hours and time wasted I will never receive back from my life! Ive been hung up, transferred, called back and yet nobody seems to be able to refine me my money! I will never shop at lowes ever again because of this experience!
Leo, kiesha, and Kevin at this location are so helpful, they went out of there way to help me and it meant so much to me! I typically don’t shop at Lowe’s but because of how helpful and willing they were I go out of my way to shop there now!! They’re awesome - Man from Azteca restaurant
I was sent from the Edgewood Lowes to pick up an order that was transferred to the Sandy Springs store. I live 5 minutes from Edgewood so I wasnt happy with that. Then I had to wait 20 plus minutes for curbside pickup because they could not find my order even though their app alerted me that it was ready and allowed me to check in when I arrived. Needless to say, my major appliance purchase next month will be done elsewhere...no time for nonsense.
Terrible customer service with the Mill work estimate department. I had an appointment with Danny Copa and he never was able to provide an estimate. He has lack of follow through, does not provide customer service, and does not return his calls. Beware of this service that Lowes provides for its customers at this store, as it does not live up to Lowes reputation. The manager of this department, Jeffrey also does not follow up.
I havent been to a Lowes for quite some time. I went in looking for particular items and the young man that helped me was very kind. The cashier that checked me out was also very kind. A older gentleman that also worked there was trying to help me find Afresh washing machine detergent. Unfortunately they were out other than that its a great experience.
Wish I could give zero!Bought 2 appliances from this branch for delivery, and they forgot the stacking kit. They said it would be delivered the next day only for the same stacking kit to be missing. Both times customer service was the worst, with the owner staff struggling to find the store managers. I was able to complete a 30 min trip to the store WHILE ON HOLD for a manger to tell him in person I’m taking my business to Home Depot! Cancelled the entire order.Worst experience ever!
Avoid for ordering large appliances!Ordered a fridge a month ago, delivery dates kept getting set and then rescheduled with no notice to me. Three different delivery windows were set and then ignored, with me having to call the store multiple times to connect with someone who could actually tell me if the fridge was on a truck to be delivered or not. Each time they just pushed the date a week or two, swore up and down that this time it would be delivered, only to have the same thing happen.Save yourself some time and just order elsewhere.
I bought a fridge and oven from this location on 2/4/21. I was told that my appliances would be delivered between 12-4p on 2/11/21. After waiting all afternoon on 2/11 for my delivery, I called the delivery service at 5pm to follow up. Delivery service said they were running behind and that there were 4 more deliveries in front of mine. We rescheduled for 2/12 and he ensured me that we would be the top priority. 2/12 came and at 5pm, I called the delivery service again. I was told again that they were running behind, and it would be delivered 2/13. It is now 2/13, I called the delivery service to be told that our order was cancelled. I called Lowe’s Sandy Springs location, to be put on hold for 20 mins, to only be told a manager get would call me back in an hour. An hour and a half has passed, I call again, and I am put on hold for another 20 minutes. I finally hung up and drove over to Lowe’s myself, to be told that our fridge was damaged from the manufacturer to the store. The appliances never made it on the truck, and were not even en route to be delivered 2/11 or 2/12 and were actually cancelled by a manager. In the past 3 days, nothing was EVER communicated to me by the store, and apparently the new delivery date has been changed to 2/18, without even consulting me or my schedule. Customer service and communication gets a ZERO.
The worst retail store in America by far, words can not express the horrific customer service at this location across all departments and all platforms. It’s unbelievable. Just take my advice and run as far away from this store as possible and do not buy appliances here because they will be damaged. And don’t bother calling you will be hung up on. Terrible
This location would have been given more stars from me, but due to the contractor who installs storm doors, this is the best I could give. I see why Lowes slogan is, Do It Yourself. We purchased a storm door from this location and paid to have it installed by the only contractor Lowes uses for this type of project. The contractor came out did the estimates and contacted us to let us know they would be back to install it in the next few days. Well the contractor sent out another rep to install the door, and the guy came up with so many excuses of why he is not comfortable with installing the door. We ask them to just take the door back and we will get a refund. Trying to get a refund was to much of a challenge and the manager had to be called, the associate wanted to ring the door up AGAIN and then refund. Really?!! Eventually after looking for this same type of door with other companies, we purchased the door from Lowes and my husband and I installed it our self, yes it took a little longer but its perfect!! Lowes give your customers more options when it comes to installers. This company is not worth your time!!!
Worst store you can ever buy from!!! I purchased a dryer online January 3rd set up installation for January 10th and my dryer didn’t get hot. So I attempted to call 3 times, and just heard a ring tone for hours (not exaggerating) then my mother help with calling an additional 4 times talk to a Joseph which said they have to send someone out to check the dry. Set up appointment for January 18th. I waited around all day for a no show. Reached an automatic call on the 19th advising they are coming out. When they came out it was confirmed the dryer was faulty and would need to call the store. I continued to call the store to have no answer. On the 22 I visited the store spoke to a manager. He exchanged it for another one, set up an installation date for 24th. Well this dryer doesn’t work !!!! I continue to call into the store all week and will hear ring and ring and ring then disconnected. I finally spoke to a lady in the appliance department Shqela. She advised the manger Leo will give me a call back at 1pm when he gets in. I provided my name, number and order number, and guess what happened nothing !!! No call ... I am currently calling the store while I am writing this. This is my 6 call of it ringing and ringing. One time it was answered by a guy , I ask for Leo then he transferred me somewhere to just wait then disconnected. Today is January 30th and I bought the dryer on January 3rd Smh
Recently purchased a Samsung 4 door refrigerator online. When they called to schedule the delivery for the very next day, we werent going to be available and needed to reschedule for one week later. The day before the expected delivery, Lowes called to tell us not only did they not have the refrigerator available to deliver but they didnt know when they would have it available to ship and they didnt have the refrigerator at any nearby stores. After complaining to nonchalant employees who were annoyed with trying to find a comparable product, I requested to speak to the store manager. Jasmine, the store manager was so patient. She listened to my needs, frustrations and sought to find a solution. She checked over everything herself to make sure things were accurate and left no stone unturned. As busy as she was, she called me back numerous times to make sure I was happy with her service and that we found a solution. In the end, Jasmine was able to find a comparable refrigerator for us, made sure it was delivered the next day, and gave us a deal for our inconvenience. She was so thorough and pleasant to work with. I only wish her employees were as efficient as she is.
I spent tens of thousands for a kitchen remodel and was asked to purchase many smaller items. I ordered them online and showed the receipt and order on my phone. They asked for the credit card # but I used the rebate, NOTE: rebates only good at Lowes, but did not have the coupon # or my drivers license. I had a photo of my birth certificate, but even the manager couldnt help. Please upgrade your software to the 21st century. When someone buys online please let them know they need multiple IDs to pick up the items.
Knew exactly what we wanted. Bought it easily, even though it was a large appliance. Sales staff was so personable & rolled thru the formalities so we hardly noticed or minded & actually made our trip & subsequent purchase actually enjoyable. Would definitely er ly recommend this store & will use again.
I needed 10 gallons of paint. I chose lowes over Home depot because usually their service is better. The woman who mix my paint up did an exceptional job the paint was perfect after 3 fails before I tryed to have it matched. That made me look good to the guy who hired me for the job. That alone should make this a 5 star review. What I found surprising. Was in an area where quality is like Sandy Springs. I walked in no employee at the paint department I alerted an employee of my need in assistance. Proceeded to get everything I needed to do the job drop clothes brushes a long list of items. No employee to mix paint ask the first guy again he tryed again to round the paint guy up again. After well around 45 minutes gathering up everything I needed. I still had to wait 30 minutes before I could get my paint mixed. Turning a less than an hour trip to close to a 2 hour trip which got me a very late start defaulting my kudos for the perfect paint match. Which cost me another room I could have completed before I had to leave and the man I hired to assist me was paid for his time. I went home with a hundred dollars it could have been potentially $175.00 a probability. To lowes A minor mistake to me wear an tear on my car for 100 dollars with 45 mile drive get here for the job. If it hadnt been for that. 5 stars would have been appropriate. Tighten up on the service is my advice time is money. For your customers also. We arent a big corporation with investors stocks insured by big banks accounts. Poking at computers all day for for 6 digit incomes. Help us help you.
I came in to this location looking for a swiffer wet jet because I couldn’t find them at any of the targets that I had been to. I came in and spoke to a man named George, and when I tell you this man moved heaven and earth to help me find this swiffer wet jet… It was actually very entertaining watching him rally multiple other employees to try and help scout the location of these wet jet but he did an amazing job and I was incredibly grateful for all the effort that he and his team put in to help me find what I was looking for when I couldn’t find it elsewhere.Whoever is hiring the people at Lowe’s, is doing a great job because you have a very empathetic group of individuals who genuinely care about their customer service and that’s very rare to find nowadays. Thank you so much George! (And everyone else who took part in the scavenger hunt, you guys are amazing!)
Worst store ever!!! Managers are hiding and dont want to help customers solve problems. Even the employees said they can never find the managers. And then rolled their eye. I purchased 3 major appliances online and they were ready to be delivered but something was wrong in processing of my Lowes CC. After multiple calls to the Lowes Credit Card customer service line it still was not resolved. My card was fine but there was a glitch in their system.I went back to the store on Saturday for another 90 mins. of trying to get this fixed. Still had issues. So today, I called the store asked for a Manager. They customer service person said she cant find a Manager either. No kidding.Does anyone work at Lowes. So I called the Customer Service line for Lowes and I am told that they completely cancelled my 3 online orders. This goes against their own policy of waiting 48 hours. I guess they dont want my $2500 purchase. So I called Home Depot instead and guess what...they were happy to sell me three major appliances and take my $2500 purchase. Good grief!!! What on earth has happened to customer service and Lowes??!!
Ordered several appliances 2 stoves, 2 microwaves washer and dryer combo. Scheduled delivery. First time they came to deliver they forgot the electrical cables so I had to refuse. I then went to the store and added a fridge and and deleted the washer and dryer. Salespeople very responsive. But thee delivery department and their phone system is a mess!!I had asked for delivery on Dec 2. They called to confirm on the first. I called them to confirm but the phone system just rang and rang. Finally I got a text message asking me to confirm (from the delivrery company) I confirmed. They asked to wait for delivery from 9 to 3pm. We waited and kept checking the app for location of the truck. When our turn came the app advised delivery canceled. Called the delivery company and they said the store canceled!!Had to go out of town. Today I get a call from Dan in deliveries. They want to schedule delivery tomorrow. Call Dan, phone rings forever finally operator answers. Operator transfers back to deliveries, phone rings forever, back to operator finally ask for GM. Operator comes back GM not available! So Im heading to the store now, will cancel everything and head to Home Depot!!!
I first ordered on line, I was giving the wrong delivery date, then I call back to cancel the order, I decided to go pickup, drove to the store, talked to the customer service rep. She cant find my order..she then located it pulled up my order showed it was on backorder..so my handyman and I went to the back of the store, found the one I online order, and went to cashier and paid for it, took it home and he installed it perfectly..
Placed online order for store pickup. Order was cancelled with no notification, no email, no call.Saw that the item was still in stock (qty 5), and went to the store. Not only was the item not there, the aisle/bay locations listed online were for a completely unrelated department. Its no wonder that this Lowes parking lot was empty, and the Home Depot a few blocks away was packed. Service and selection matter.
Lowes often has the items you are looking for. There seems to have fewer on the floor employees than Home depot does but the prices are usually better. I often frequent the store every month or so have have not had any unusual events occur. I will continue to go to this store because of the convent location. I would recommend this place to others for hardware needs.
At first I was not pleased with the assistance I received while asking the individuals who applied to work at Lowe’s for help. I finally got what I need after being told they no longer have anymore of this item because it’s seasonal. Now I did my part downloaded the app and used it as my personal assistant however I still needed to go to customer service. I have never priced matched a thing in my life however my husband and I just started a new business and all money matters. I simply want to thank Marie Simmons for your outstanding customer service! Marie did not hesitate to do things by the book but also managed to be human! The app would have never given me the human experience that was cherished on this day! Thank you again Marie Simmons!!!!
I went here for paint and no one ever assisted me. When I first entered, I notified customer service that I would need assistance in that area and heard her call for it over the PA system. Yet, no one ever came.Granted it was later in the day, almost 7pm, but if the store is still open, then they should have someone on staff able to help in that area.
This store is extremely unorganized! I scheduled set up for my washer and dryer with the manager. However he never completed the appointment. I have been trying to schedule AGAIN all morning. They keep taking messages and promising to call back but do not. The employees do not do their job to ensure that he customer’s needs are met.
The place is well organized. Ive gone many times over the years and have bought tools and material for DIY projects. The employees are helpful and courteous. I am grateful for their knowledge and have benefited from their expertise. The best part--if there is something they are unsure of, they find out or find someone who will help.
Horrible customer service and follow up. This store delivered / installed a washer for me & forgot to take out the shipping bolts. On first use, the washer almost exploded...flying 4 feet across the room and scattering parts along the way. Five days later, no new washer after countless calls to the store and 1-800 number. We were promised a delivery today and, of course, they were a no show. Absolute last time I’ll ever purchase anything from Lowe’s. Total cluster....
This store is horrible, the people working there are obviously very unhappy, the manager talk in front of you with the other worker to resolve an issue instead of talking directly to you, zero customer service manners, I will give minus 5 stars if I could , very rude workers, send you from one place to the other and resolve absolutely nothing, zero common sense, if you have to drive a little more instead of stopping for something here, drive more... you will be happier...
Amazing, Helpful and Knowledgeable ServiceMy husband went to this location to get paint for our backyard fence. Our HOA only allows specific paint colors, and we showed the document with the choices allowed to the team in the paint department. Kevin, the store manager ended up helping us out. He talked us through everything we would need from the best paint brushes for the project, how much paint we would need based on the fence measurements, pressure washing, etc. I went from feeling very unsure about the project to feeling very confident that we were doing the project correctly, and that it would turn out well. Excellent customer service like this is all too rare these days. So I wanted to leave this review to let everyone know how great and helpful Kevin was, and that my husband and I will head directly back to this Lowes when it is time to take on the challenge of removing some very outdated, original 1983 wallpaper, and bringing our townhouse into this era of decor with a more modern paint color.
Would give zero star if that was an option. Bought an item online at a clearance price for pickup in store at store#1807. When I got there to pick it up they said they dont have it and wont even get it in store for me to pick it up on a later date. They were about to cunningly cancel my order against my will, I had to tell them not to cancel it. Although they item is still available online for shipping to store they would not do it just because I got it at clearance price. Its item number 688669 and they Associate Store Manager is Brandon.
Once again, Craig and Imani saved the day! We went in to return the crown molding for our kitchen because we needed a different size. Every time we have been at the Sandy Springs Lowe’s was a great experience for us. The staff is very friendly, fast and knowledgeable of processes and procedures. Imani is super fast with checking and always made things easy for us. Craig always greats us and makes sure we get what we need in the process of remodeling our kitchen.I also want to praise Pattie, our kitchen designer for the great kitchen she helped me design. She was super patient and understood everything I wanted and put it together for me. And to end my great experience, Joseph helped me with ordering my kitchen appliances which all came on the same time as promised. He has a great bubbly personality and is fun to work with. Overall, great team!I will always come to this Lowe’s and encourage my friends and family to choose this location for their exceptional customer service. Thank you Lowe’s team at Sandy Springs!
We bought a Frigidaire fridge from this store and within a week of its delivery , it had major problems. We went thru the warranty and had repairmen out twice and it still wasn’t fixed. We decided to exchange the fridge (within 1 month of purchase date). They gave us a major hassle, but eventually said they would deliver a new one. The day of delivery, I waited and finally got a call that the driver assigned to our delivery had quit and my fridge couldn’t be delivered until the next day, but it would arrive during the same 4 hour window. The next day comes and my 4 hour window expired and nobody called me. I called the store and was transferred multiple times, put on hold and hung up on a few times before I got to speak to a manager. He told me my item had been returned to the store for whatever reason and asked when would I be able to have it delivered. I expressed my displeasure and told him I wanted it the next day. He had to ask my name again. He didn’t even care about my problem or that nobody even called to tell me my fridge wasn’t getting delivered. I understand that mixups happen, but good customer service can go a long way to help make up for that, and of all the interactions I’ve had with workers at this Lowe’s, good customer service is clearly not important to them. I will not be back.
I used to support this location 100% but lately it has gone downhill. I ordered 2 appliances in Dec 2019 and still do not have them as of the end of Feb 2020! I dont Understand what it takes to have 2 appliances delivered and installed as desired!?! I can Never seem to get a manager who can rectify the situation. The Home Depot in East Cobb Marietta is heads above Lowe’s and that’s where I’ll be taking my business. We will see if Lowe’s can right this sinking ship by issuing a full refund.
Big shout out to KENNY. THANK YOU BRO. This man actually took the time and searched everywhere he possibly could for my toolbox. Deeply appreciated. Because you took the time to actually look for it, my tools wont have to be on the ground anymore. And another shput out to PAT. THANK YOU TO BRO. Very professional guys that handled the task without any hesitation. Confident and posorive attitude. Definitley management materail, both of these guys. Lowes is lucky to have these 2 employees.
I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to Kenneth and Patrick for taking the time to make everything right! Unfortunately for Lowe’s, corporate has chosen Spirit delivery for their delivery and pick up services, and they are terrible. Although I paid for them to pick up the old grill when they delivered the new grill I purchased, they made excuses and failed to show 4 times. I am currently almost 8 months pregnant, which is why I paid for the pick up etc jn the first place. Upon hearing my predicament, The managers Kenneth and Patrick took it upon themselves to come and get the old eyesore (grill) from the house! After everything this has made my day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Kenneth and Patrick!
I had terrible customer service both inside the store and on the phone. In store, the appliances person did not get in the store until noon and then walked away and didnt come back for almost 15 minutes. He was also not helpful in finding the appliance that I was looking for. When I called after my washer and dryer were installed incorrectly by a Lowes contractor, I was put on hold (trying to find the contact number) and left on hold when the person went to lunch. The person that came back from lunch then couldnt even find my order. I spent over 30 minutes on hold for the entire process.
The good: The store is big and has a little bit of everything. When summer grilling time comes around they have all the gagets you need for your grill. A good section on painting, lighting, and home appliances. There seems to be a plethora of employees running about unlike other stores I have been to where they are an endangered species. The bad: not one of the employees seems interested in the least to help you out. Groups of 4 or 5 will happily stand around and let you walk all around them looking for what you want. You almost feel like your intruding to break into their conversation and ask a question. I was also very disappointed in their selection of wood. I was there for a specific board type for a repair I needed to complete. They had one aisle of wood. I can remember when my local home center store had 5 aisles of wood. I understand the issue. Its all about limited space. Better to stock more $600 grills than $6.00 boards. Oh well, I guess Amazon is going to need to start shipping wood now.
Third time Ive had returns there, provided a receipt and the items havent shown up in their system when they scan the receipt (I spend a lot there on a regular basis). Note that when it does not show up in their system they provide you a store credit as opposed to crediting back your card. For the third time they customer service rep has been very rude and unable to fix the problem. As I spend there regularly I take the store credit voucher, but Im beginning to wonder if this isnt some intentional glitch in their system to keep from crediting back your card. And Im certainly displeased with how rude their customer service rep is... again
Lowes is slow and behind in my opinion. I dont see how they stay open. Whenever I visit Lowes, Im still disappointed that they STILL dont have an option to email me my receipt. They dont offer an area for you to cut the size of trim like the big home improvement company in orange. Its always slow. Store looks nice. People are friendly. Catch up Lowes so you can compete. Id shop here more but its just EASIER to shop at your competitor.
Had an amazing experience with a customer service associate by the name of Greg. I was there around 6:00 pm on 07/28/2018. He was very helpful and knowledgeable in the lighting department. It was a true pleasure to see an employee go the extra mile to be helpful at their own will. This is the type of associate that is needed these days. If I ever have an opening at my office, I may be trying to recruit. Thanks for the great experience Greg.
With todays technology I am surprised that the Lowes website does not offer a scheduling tool to ask for a person to provide a quote for any kind of installation and that it must be scheduled over the phone or in the store. I am a fool for continuing to try to schedule an appointment for someone to come to my house just to provide me a quote to install insulation in the attic. After my 7th try and I am not making this up or stretching this comment, I was finally connected to the correct department to make this appointment after 2 weeks of trying. Each phone attempt, the department either directed me to the incorrect department, did not know who was responsible for scheduling the appointment, or took my information down and promised a call back within the same day. Extremely frustrating yet I keep going back to Lowes for their affordable prices. Great prices, in the store customer service is excellent when I am in the store, except the website needs to offer the flexibility to schedule appointments for quotes. It should not require a phone call or in-person visit to make this appointment.
I had to look everywhere to find an associate. When I finally found one at the Hardware desk, I asked him if he could call someone up for the garden center. He then replied that there was already people over there. But since Id already walked down every aisle, I knew that wasnt true. He calls someone up and I finally get some help however this associate had a major attitude and when I told her what I wanted she rolled her eyes at me. And when I told her I couldnt use something she suggested cuz it was poisonous to cats she turned to me and rolled her eyes and stopped and stared like I was the biggest idiot on Earth for caring about not poisoning my cats. After a few more eye rolls, I decided to get some new help. I went to the customer service desk and ask him to call up a manager. After 5 minutes, the night manager came up. He was nice and tried to help me the best he could, but he didnt seem to know the stock or store very well. He directed me to Lumber, where there was no one there that could help me. Im pretty sure at least one of the men was high. I was redirected from there to hardware. I stood at the Hardware desk and waited for a few minutes. Called across the aisle to the customer service rep to ask him to call someone up to the Hardware desk. He called no less than three times while I stood there for about 15 minutes, until someone finally came from the tool section, to tell me that the hardware guy had gone home. This was an hour before the store even closed. Ive never had this bad of customer service at Lowes, but if thats how they want to treat their customers, Im happy to drive the extra mile or two to get to the Home Depot down the street.
Every time I go in there the employees seem unmotivated and act like theyre forced to be there. I never get asked if I need help and when I do actually ask for help they act like Im bothering them and its hit or miss if I get a good answer. Several times theyve been out of stock of what I went in for. The products are usually messy like its a close out store and no one cares to put things in the right place. I prefer to go to the Roswell HD who crushes them in every way. Hopefully theyll get better because I loved our Lowes in FL. Most of my tools are from Lowes but thats slowly changing.
HUGE NEWS! went to Lowes to return a few extra items and they now will NOT return any items over 90-days without a receipt - NO STORE CREDIT. Huge bummer if you finish a project and have a few extra items. Lowes competitors do not do this and just lost my business going forward. shame...
Officially made my LAST trip to any Lowes. Single reason ever going is that it is a few minutes closer to my house and often on my way but from this point forward I will make time for the Home Depot. The service is consistently bad and often the supplies I need are out of stock. Once you add an inexperienced and not pleasant staff, I will go out of my way to spend my money elsewhere. I arrived 8:10am on Sunday only to find the door locked then had to wait another 5 minutes before the manager could be located to open the door. Thanks for finally convincing me to go elsewhere for good!
Worse delivery and customer service store I have experienced thus far. The customer service team and deliver team should be fired. Order a fridge and they changed my delivery day and didnt let me know. I waited the day they were suppose to deliver, just to find out they changed it.
Dont bother calling. I was put on hold by an employee in receiving that stated she needed to finish an email before she could pull anything up... Then the phone would bounce around back to service 3 times apparently without the incompetent one finishing her email. Wait! No! She went to lunch!!! True story! Not a fan of the service here. I would clean house if this was my store. Mike was the only one half competent to get anything done correctly. Spent an hour and a half on the phone and in store just trying to pick something up. I watched Alex mope around doing zero for the 45 minutes I was sitting there. He really needs something to do...Like maybe a register at customer service (since there was only one cashier). He kept going behind the counter acting like he was busy, but just turned around and went back to keys. I almost started filming it was so comical. All I could think of was Office Space when he says What would you say, you do here. To the manager, I say CLEAN your house sir!
Ive been struggling trying to install a bidet attachment, for whatever reason I keep having issues with it! Ive been back to this store a few times to try to figure out whats going wrong, and both Kenny and Dan have been so helpful and kind to try and find a solution for me. Still having issues, so I will be coming back in to try one more thing! But a big thank you to Kenny and Dan for putting up with me, I dont know what I would do without them!
Normally you can receive excellent customer from this location but today was not one of those days. Cashier did not greet me or thank me for my patronage. There wasnt any communication during the processing of the transaction just handing the receipt and stating remember to complete survey and give us all sevens. Goodbye. Wow. You want all sevens when you will not greet the customer or thank them? The gentleman who had assist me with finding what I was looking for did the same thing. He did not greet me just said you need help? He gave me the item and didnt say thing else just started at me. He had an unwelcoming expression on his face. Both employees made it seemed like I was bothering them. No smiles, look of irritation, and an expression like they did not want to be there. Like I said it is not like this location to have this type of customer service. I have been coming here for years and never seen this.
Worst customer service ever. Waited 5 minutes just for the ladies to stop talking to each other. Then 1 walked away and the other started working on some paperwork. Not once did they even say hello; I was standing in front of them at the CS counter. Frustrated, I went to talk to a cashier. There’s only two in the entire store. Both of them acted like I was speaking Greek. I just wanted to know if they carried riding lawnmowers. Apparently that’s some mythical vehicle 🤷♂️🤦♂️
I was taken aback with the service I received from the Sandy Springs location today. They had a greeter at the door who pointed me in the direction I needed to go. Not only that, there were other employees standing close by and one overheard what I was looking for. He walked me to the garden center, asked how many bags I needed, and helped with putting the items in my cart. Thank you Lowes. My whole shopping experience was beyond 5 stars.
The store is pretty clean and has a ton of merchandise. Its a really big store. I use the Lowes website on my mobile to locate the bay and isle of items, and then ask staff where the isle is when I get there. Sometimes the line is a bit slow at checkout, but often it is fine. Staff is generally helpful.
How is this even possible? I purchase a washer and dryer in store with the promise of next day delivery. Come to find out they didnt have the washer and dryer in stock within any store in the Atlanta area and then was promised that it would be delivered 3 days later. Nearly two weeks later the washer and dryer was delivered and installed only to discover the dryer was defective and refuse delivery. I finally got in touch with the person who schedules deliveries and was told that it wouldnt be until another week before they could deliver the dryer. Customer service through this whole process when its nearly impossible. You cant even contact the store manager to help resolve issues. I had always shopped Home Depot but decided it was time for a change but I dont think Lowes is the answer. So if you need something simple off the Shelf and you can check out through the checkout lines then it may be just fine but to make a major purchase that is over $1,600 and received this of treatment is 100% dissatisfying.
Didnt find competitively priced LED bulbs, very costly compared to home Depot. Store still doesnt have updated credit/debit card machine. Swipe for debit push for credit. In my opinion its hard to find what Im looking for. Products are not placed intuitively. Lowes is lacking ingenuity and personality. Im afraid they will not be around in 5-7 years. Which will be bad for the industry and especially for comsumere.
Bought a rake , and axe handle . I noticed the price wasn’t right and I said something to the cashier. He proceeded to process the transaction after I told him it was wrong . Gave me the receipt and told me To go to customer service and they would fix it. So now I’m at customer service desk and they’re telling me that it shows the price they charged me and if I thought it was wrong I needed to walk back to where the rates were and take a picture of the sale tag? Really ?!!!! being the customer I should have gotten a little more help than this . I am still shocked that this happened and the girl at customer service told me to walk back to the rakes and take a picture and bring it back to her because she was to busy in a discussion with the other girls that work there . If they had the correct price in their computer this all would have been avoided. This actually took about 15 minutes of my day because they wouldn’t stop and fix the problem to begin with. I will never shop here again . Most unhelpful facility I think I’ve ever been in
Why is it every time I go to this location the service is terrible, the staff is rude, and they treat the customers as an inconvenience? From now on I’ll drive the extra mile to Home Depot. My whole career I have been a manager in the hospitality industry and I always try to give retail stores and restaurants the benefit of the doubt, but this is my last of many visits being treated like an inconvenience at this location.
The “free” delivery is a joke. I was told they’d deliver my appliances between 11:30 and 1:30. It actually got delivered at 7:30 and the poor delivery men had 4 more deliveries to do. I was moving into a new house. The house had NOTHING in it and I had brought enough diapers and food for my 1 year old for about 4 hours because I thought surely that would be enough. I had to call the delivery system every hour and I kept being told they were running behind about another hour. What can you do at that point? I’d already paid for the appliances. They over load their delivery men which puts those hard working men in a horrible position showing up to houses of people that have been inconvenienced all day. I will never buy anything from this Lowe’s again. It would make much more financial sense to simply schedule deliveries responsibly.
This Lowe’s is stocked with a lot more stuff than the average location. This was my first trip to the Roswell Rd location. Customer service was friendly, and every branch lets me bring my dog. Only flaw with my visit was not being able to speak with or find the person working in the outdoor section. Instead of meeting me to discuss product options they simply told customer service over the radio where I needed to look after waiting for an answer for several minutes. It was 6am though, and raining.
Usually when I have to go to home depot I already cringed before even getting thereToday I pick this store and let me tell youManager is on siteYou can tell that he rides the plane and his team seems happy to workThank you to Daniel at return, emwitt at the toilet department, Sam at the lights and Tom at garden. The gentleman with dreads at the ciment department hepled me buy quick foam he was awesom. I got helped advices and 100 % helped me, came towards me , instead of running away. Thanks to the ferrataria gentleman as well , for my bike lock. What a difference thank you
Wish I can give negative stars worse experience ever. From delivery to customer service. After waiting 1 month for my fridge to come it was all damaged and on top of that when I try to call to schedule for them to fix the problem they sales associate will always hang up and I have to go to Corporate in order to get an answer.
We purchased all of our major appliances at Lowes, along with their extended Warranty. Now that we need a repair done we cannot get anyone to pick up the phone. This is going on 3 days. We finally called GE. They are coming out to do the service which we will pay for. What is the purpose of the Lower Warranty. I would advise anyone purchasing appliances at Loews to NEVER purchase the extended warranty as it appears Lowes will not stand by it. How about just answering the phone????
If I could leave zero stars, I would. I ordered a microwave online, which was delivered with a broken plate and shattered glass all throughout the box. I have been trying for a week to have the broken microwave picked up and replaced. I have spoken with three different managers, who all say it will be picked up the next day, which has not happened yet. Getting a hold of a manager is not an easy task either! Every time I have tried to call, I am disconnected about three or four times and put on hold numerous times as well. I am currently waiting on the third manager to call me back. He said he would call me back in 10 minutes, and it has been over an hour at this point. I am now looking for a way to bring the broken microwave to Lowe’s myself to return it and take my business elsewhere.
Terrible experience! I called up to the store to see if they had a thermal fuse in stock. The operator did his job and transferred the call to appliances. However, Brian in appliances did not pick up. I know his name because I was forced to visit the store since it was near closing time. Not only did they not have the part in stock but Brian hands me a card and tells me that they can order and ship it to me. This is great info yet I could of learned all of this from the comfort of my home. I feel sorry for the operators that transfer calls. I witnessed an operator transferring and paging calls. Then I noticed the same calls bounced back to the operator after no one picked up in the respective dept. Now the operator is left managing baggage control. Wheres the customer service? Lowes are you better than this?
I contracted with the Sandy Springs Lowes store to do a complete remodel of my kitchen which included new cabinets, counter tops, hardwood floors in my dining room, kitchen and living room, all new appliances, painting of all walls, ceilings and moldings. The cabinets were ordered first and I was charged on my Lowe’s Credit Card account on May 31st. The remaining items, including labor were ordered and charged in June. Over $43,000 in product and labor. Their process calls for all the product to be on site before any work can begin. Some 46 boxes were delivered on August 3, 2018 and stored in my dining room. Demolition began on August 22nd. Boxes had to be moved from the dining room to the living room so the dining room floor could be taken up. Basically, I had to move into my bedroom which became my kitchen, living room and office for two months. There was no logical reason to have all the product delivered at once. For example, the installation of the new hardwood floors didn’t begin until September 10th. That’s 5 ½ weeks with these boxes just sitting my living room. The contractor Lowe’s used was Antom Remodeling who was involved with ordering the product. They failed to order the correct transition pieces for the flooring or the correct trim and moldings for the cabinets. So while the cabinets were installed on August 29th and the hardwood floors on September 10th, the work was not completed until November 2nd.The Contractor worked less than 40% of the available workdays. This coupled with the mediocre skills of their workers resulted in this project not being completed until December 11th. My next door neighbors had Home Depot remodel their kitchen. You can easily tell the difference between work performed by skilled craftsmen and average ones. Plus her kitchen was completed in a little over a week.Antom Remodeling is the typical contractor you hope to avoid when searching for one to hire. But since this review is more about Lowe’s than Antom Remodeling I will focus on them.I was supposed to have a coordinator at the store to help in moving this project along. Unfortunately, she had some health problems right after the product was delivered and has yet to return to work. I then dealt with the department manager and store manager. Both left the store. For the majority of time I acted as my own project manager.I was also supposed to have an advocate at Lowe’s Corporate office in North Carolina but she turned out to be pretty much useless. She never picked up her phone and when I would leave a voice message requesting a return call it would be ignored. I requested she give me her supervisor’s contact information only to be told they do not give out this information. She told me that at the completion of the project Lowe’s would offer me some sort of compensation. When I emailed her at the completion she wrote back and these are her exact words “Another coordinator in my office will be giving you a call to discuss the request as I am no longer the coordinator for this specific store”. So she was assigned this project from the beginning yet somehow bails out at the last minute. In addition to the above, Lowe’s uses the worse delivery service possible. Their process is to send you a text the night before delivery asking you to confirm the delivery. There is no call ahead of time to arrange for a mutually convenient delivery date. You just get the text at 7:30 PM the night before saying they are coming the next day. I would call them to let them know it wasn’t convenient but no one would pick up. In every case I would have to call the store the next morning to let their delivery service know not to come. And they are not the best delivery people either. They dented the refrigerator which had to be replaced. They unbox everything outside and would lose key accessories. They lost a back filler strip for the range which had to be reordered and took another month to arrive. So here I sit waiting for Lowe’s to honor their commitment for compensation.

2022-03-17Awesome Lowes. Customer service and all staff in aisles are incredible - great service and very professional. Jasmine at customer service is always amazing - friendly, attentive, and a pleasure to deal with.

2022-04-24I had a really wonderful experience at this store. I had quite a few things to find and needed help locating my items. Luckily I ran into one of the employees named Percy. Percy was busy but stopped what he was doing in order to direct me to the location of almost every item on my list. I was so grateful for his kindness. He really cares about the customers and his work ethic was fantastic. Thank you Percy for a job well done.

2021-12-12Very fast curbside pickup, helpful and professional staff, but masks are not required by customers, and many do not wear them. Mask wearing by employees is often below the nose. If you fear Covid, use curbside. If you dont fear Covid, highly recommended for all manner of shopping.

2022-06-16I like this Lowes, the staff is nice and friendly. I usually only go for my job, but when I do go for myself its for gardening stuff. I went to pick up some a venus fly-trap a few months ago to replace mine that didnt want to survive the winter and was very sad that they had stacked them all in a pile on the bottom shelf of a rack that was in a dark corner so literally all the plants were shriveled up and dead. Plant care is always a problem at these types of stores though...Anyways, I still go back because the staff is lovely and the store is clean!

2022-05-24This Lowes is the WORSE! I went in this morning (5/24/2022) stood in the customer service line and WAITED with no acknowledgment or offer to assist. Was there someone at the counter you might ask...well yes there was. She stood there, completed what she was doing, walked to another employee, went back to the cash register all without asking How may I assist you. I literally had to ask her for help as I was standing at the customer service counter. I repeated myself twice before asking a gentleman who appeared to be pulling an order. He stopped to assist me before he completed what he was doing. The worse service!

2022-06-24Danielle took the time to call me about my delivery and took the effort to try and get them all delivered in the same day even though they were coming from 3 different stores. Love to be treated with care and respect, thank you danielle!

2022-05-05What a pleasant experience. Friendly and helpful people around every corner, literally. In a world where customer service has taken a nosedive, it’s alive and well at this Lowes location.

2022-03-11Would give 0 stars if available. Terrible customer service. Have been trying to have an item delivered over a month and they have been a nightmare to deal with. If you need any deliveries or additional help for larger purchase, avoid a major headache and go to a different store.

2022-06-28Actually, a fairly painless visit! The store was not overly busy and fairly well stocked. .I was able to locate some end of season culinary herbs on sale!
