Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
I hope this rating is with no basis b/c my son works here. I find everything I need for inside & outside home. On this visit I bought 3 different tomato plants that Im transplanting to a big pot on my porch. Also purchased a ceiling medallion. Will give it an antique-look & place on wall. (See unfinished medallion in photo.)
On my recent trip to Lowes, I was returning a couple of small items and planned on purchasing another item for a project. The return went smoothly. I had my receipt and they refunded my money with no issues. That is the only reason this review got 2 stars. It went down hill from there.I was looking for a certain size screw hooks. Went to the hardware aisle and looked around for what I wanted. All through the blister packs and purple bags, and drawers. Couldnt find what I wanted.Next aisle over, found a clerk. He asked if he could help. Good. Told him what I was looking for and what I had already done.He looked right at me and told me to go look on the next aisle over and look at the purple bags. Duh! Did he not hear a thing I just told him. Then he went right back to the menial task he was performing. Now Im a little upset, but whatever.Been shopping at Lowes a long time. I knew they had more hooks. So I wandered up and down a couple more aisles, and I found just what I was looking for.So I have my item that I wanted and move to front, to the registers, to purchase my item.No Cashiers Anywhere In Site.Just those stupid self-checkout units. So I walk over to them and the first thing I see is a sign that says No Cash, Credit Cards Only.Im flush with cash, I just returned 2 items and got $6 and change in cash back. And now I want to make my $3.50 purchase with that cash. And not put it on my credit card. The only attendant is helping a little old lady with a whole cart load of items. She didnt even look up at me to acknowledge my presence. So I moved over to the service counter and was greeted with a bunch of signs claiming Returns Only.OK, back to the registers. Attendant is still helping the elderly customer. So I stand and wait. After a bit, I interrupt them and ask where I can pay with cash. With attitude, she tells me to go to the service counter.Back I go. Stand in line behind several other customers returning things. Now I wouldnt mind this, except the person working the register was directing several other employees from other departments. So each transaction was taking extra time. And Then, an employee stepped in front of all of us, got a couple gallon cans of paint from behind the counter and had the clerk ring her up. Really! At this point, if I had needed these hooks, I would have dropped them on the floor and walked out.Eventually I was able to pay for my hooks and go home. A 10 minute trip to Lowes took me 45 minutes.Needless to say, Im not happy. If I wanted to be treated like this, I couldve gone to Walmart.
We are more of a home Depot fan and customer. Thomasville does not have a home Depot so we had to settle for Lowes this is why it only gets three stars. We are fans and proud users of Milwaukee tools. Lowes does not sell Milwaukee tools. Milwaukee is considered one of the best.
Brooke went above band beyond for me to get my delivery on time! She is so nice, professional and helpful. Very grateful. And to see the delivery driver smile and have a great day as he petted our cow and goat for the first time in his life made us feel happy too. Simple gesture goes a long way☺️❤️🐄🐐
Last time I will shop at Lowes!Another trip to a store 30 miles from my home to get a product that was shown to have not one but six of the items I wanted, in stock. Aisle and bin number shown. 30 minutes later at Lowes and there is not one piece of this item in stock. Their answer, you should have called. My reply, you need a new inventory system. And no they had not sold one of the items between the time I searched and the time we got there.
Called to ask about products advertised on noone has a clue what Im talking about get in my truck go there and bam !!!!!finger it in 5 minutes ...called to ask if they sold novelty siding had no idea what I was talking about what a joke only about 2 people who work there know thier job and do it well. They need to shut the store down for a day and do some serious training on the products they selling because noone k ow where anything is of are willing to help you find it
Very friendly staff. Check out has gone to self service predominately. They have added a large pet section and the store is pet friendly. The interior of the store has been completely changed and reset. The check out process was slow and 3 people cut ahead of me in line at the direction of the check out clerk. The store has a good selection of products.
Expect longer than reasonable wait times for pickup orders. After being notified that the double vanity we ordered was ready for pickup, my wife and I waited over an hour and a half for someone with a forklift to load the 425 lb item onto our truck. Not impressed with the customer service provided after the sale.
On Sunday, September 5th, I chose an entire 3-tier rack of mark down plants. Not one staff member (and 4 were asked by the cashier - including a manager of some sort she called) would count the plants for inventory and then apply the $25 for the entire rack which was the ultimate sale price as I was told the plants were to be trashed if not sold. I waited over an hour for them to find someone. I even went to customer service who said 2 managers were in the house. Neither came to the desk when called several times. I finally took 6 plants off that rack and was charged over $25.00 for them. This is typical for Thomasville Lowes. No customer service if they can help it...they will scatter in all directions like roaches if they see a customer coming.
Lowes is the best at matching paint colors. Great stock and parking for all. Easy access. Great location. The cashier was a little ole lady and sweet as she cold be. The gentleman in the garden department was unfamiliar with weed eaters and knowledge of the product I was interested in. He was the only downfall of my visit there this morning. ****Stars
We travelled from Leesburg Ga to purchase patio furniture. Everyone we encountered was very helpful and kind. It is hard to find great customer service sometimes, but you can certainly tell that Reggie and his team have it all figured out! They worked so well together in assisting us by locating all of the pieces we needed and loading them all in our truck. There was no hesitation in offering a helping hand. You could tell that they really enjoy supporting their customers in any way possible. Wish I could give 10 stars! Will be returning for sure!
Received excellent customer service from Mr. John Slocumb in power tools. He was extremely helpful in regard to product knowledge, helped me through a pricing issue, and even helped me load the saw I bought into my truck. People like himself are why I continue to shop at Lowe’s.
Wow Ive been standing in the rope aisle now for 20 minutes, waiting for somebody to come cut some rope, 100 foot. And when I look out there theres three people in customer service just standing there, theres two people over by the cashier, which is self checkout, just standing there. They pay so many employees but have no help to actually help the customer out so so sad.
I was a little disappointed after finding out the fridge that I wanted would not be in stock until the end of July, but the associate looked up possible stores that carried it. I ended up in Moultrie, paid for the fridge, and as I was walking out, was stopped and told that they actually didnt have it!🤦🏾♀️ The associate apologized and we found one similar to what I wanted, and he price matched it!🤗🤗I was thoroughly pleased. It started kinda rough, but was smooth sailing in the end!
Pathetic customer service here. I placed an order online for curbside pick-up. I got an email two days later that said the order was ready and that it would be held for five days. I went by two days later to pick it up, and the pick-up clerk couldnt find the order. She never bothered to tell me that the order wasnt there. I had to call back after sitting in the parking lot for twenty minutes. She told me that another clerk was scrounging through the store to find my items. I asked to speak with a manager, and Mike picked up the call. I complained to him about my order not being ready, and he was rude and uncaring. After a minute of that conversation, Mike hung up on me. I went into the store to ask for him, and he refused to speak with me. Finally, after a half hour, a store employee appeared with my order. It was a total waste of my valuable time. I got a generic customer feedback email from Lowes a couple of days later. I responded on that but never heard back from them. It certainly appears to me that Lowes doesnt care about my business and has no respect for my time. I have no doubt that Home Depot would be happy to take my money and respect my time, so Ill be shopping there from now on.
Lowes in thomasville has become a joke. Its not only the fact that they cant seem to find anything or keep anything in stock. The people they have working there are just completely incompetent. I know everyone has to learn somehow but there are basic things people should know when working in the lumber section or in a home improvement store all together. Being able to type in 1/4 or 2x10x8 should not be that hard and then the employee gets annoyed with the customer. It is not the customers fault that everything is in the wrong place and has no tag on it. 2 hours later and 4 different employees and not a one of them could help us. And then when we finally get what we need on our own which is a large amount and high in price (that qualified for the 0% interest) we use our lowes card and ask for the 0% interest and little miss aggravated didnt even do that.
Spent a pretty penny to buy a washer, dryer, and dishwasher from Lowe’s. Used Lowe’s contracted/provided installer for all of them. Dishwasher began tilting forward shortly after ownership when opening door. They came and “fixed” it.Happened again and called them on it outside of the warranty period trying to explain that proper bracketing for installation prior to warranty expiration never occurred. They refused to come and “fix it” again. Not that it was actually ever installed correctly or fixed correctly.Use them for product not service. Unprofessional management of my scenario, especially with a high dollar purchase. Lost my business for big items.Basically a Home store with Walmart level of service with chip on their shoulder type interactions showing they don’t truly care about the customer.Corporate recommendation from someone with a business degree and 2 decades of business management experience and customer resolution management experience:If you have a pre-warranty expiration service completed that ends up having the same post-warranty product/service issues, try honoring the issue and taking it as a clue that the service provider isn’t doing their job properly. In this scenario, your customer paid for a job not well done and wasn’t listened to.
So every time We go into this lowes we cant get help. Two months ago we could not get blinds cut but there are two people asleep in flooring and another at the desk at appliances. Today we try to take back a 600 brand new lawnmower that fell apart after delivery. A gear fell out of the front wheel drive portion of the Craftsman lawnmower. Even purchased the extended warranty. We never got to use it because the gear. Try to take it back and they say they cant take it back because it had gas. Well duh! Thats how we found it did not work. I work in construction and travel all over the Southeast. This by far is the worst Lowes or Even Home Depot that I have ever been in. There is a lazy culture at this store that I dont think is in line with what other Lowes Stores would tolerate. Its not good. I think next time we will make the drive to Moultre to go to a Home Depot instead
I go to Lowes Home Improvement store quite often. I feel like the employees morale is low. Theyre a little rude and a lot of times you have to ask for help. It didnt used to be that way. They greeted you out the door theyre very friendly. Im hoping that changes and I get back to the way they used to be. Normally the floors are well-stocked and I can find what I need on my own.
I like this store. I had to go here because our stores in Tallahassee did not have the roof panels I wanted. I usually find items here that our stores never get, like water tank air valves. They also usually help, or at least offer to help load my purchase into the truck for me. Great employees. Manager has picked well.
So very disappointed that Lowes uses third parties to deliver their merchandise The first delivery attempt was pretty much on time, but the washer was very damaged on its top. When I was setup for the next delivery, it was awful. I live on a dirt road and they told their mgmt they couldnt deliver to us. When I called about the delivery, I assured them the road was passable. When the time was rescheduled, approx two more times that day, they still didnt deliver. I cancelled the sale, and will buy from a local appliance business that delivers their on merchandise
Id give zero stars if I could. The level of mask compliance and social distancing was appalling yesterday at the Thomasville location. Half of the employees either wore masks under their noses or down around their necks. Groups of unmasked customers just crowded around customer service desk not only ignoring the distancing markers, but not even forming lines at all.The customer service staff was unhelpful and seemed uniformed. Again half of them were either unmasked or not wearing masks properly. It was a nightmare!I went there because they had the stove we wanted in stock. It was a mistake that I will not repeat. For what it is worth the Capital Circle location was pretty good with regard to mask compliance and social distancing when I visited there.
Lowes is no longer my favorite place to shop.I placed an online order with ship to store for 2 lawnmower belts on clearance at a very good price. When it didnt come in 6 days I called the store. I was told they no longer have the item in stock and my order had been canceled. I never received any information indicating that the order had been canceled. So I googled the part number thinking I need to get it some place else. Then guess what, Lowes had it in stock! The very same day, exact same part number, only $30.00 higher for each belt!I called the 800 number and they said there was nothing they could do as it was an online order. They gave me the store manager who said I will sell you one at half price as a courtesy and you can have it shipped either to the store your home and I will waive the shipping costs .Half price on one item was more than the price for 2 on my original order. I did get the half price item but they never did waive the shipping fees. Nobody seemed to know how to do that .I did send a complaint to the home office with copies of everything. The only thing I got back was a disclosure saying that they had the right to cancel or replace an item at their discretion.False advertising? Fraud? I guess each person has to make it their own mind. But if I dont have to shop at Lowes I will not.
My home away from home for home supplies and projects. I recently purchased a hot tub and they went out of their way to deliver it and put it in place. It was up to us to get an electrician to connect it, which we were aware of. A nice friendly place to shop. We appreciate the VA discount and they thank us for our service. Its nice to feel appreciated!
Looks like store items are being reorganized and thats great. Cashier was happy and helpful. Only one problem. I purchased a hanging plant from the sales rack in the back aisle of the garden. Clearance rack labeled onedollar. When I checked out, it came up to original price 9.98. I told cashier that it was on clearance. The rack had been labeled clearance with large signOne dollar. The cashier didnt believe me and replied cant be. She didnt call or check with anyone. The plant was on its last leg, she offered it for 5 dollars.I suggest the racks to be tagged as Clearance and have all plants taggedOr marked with clearance labelswith the clearance price. I bought theclearance plant which I know it will come back to life.
Lowe’s associate Rodney helped my aunt to find a replacement screen door handle today. He was very helpful in locating the exact match and the only one available in the store. My aunt appreciated his professionalism and pleasant demeanor. We will continue to go to Lowe’s for all of our hardware needs.
Went to Thomasville Georgia Lowes today after looking at there web site( see below). I drove 25 miles to get there to get 4 of these items and other items to be told they wont honor this price/add at there store . I was showing there store is how I knew about this. Was treated very rude by manager Reggie who was not helpful nor considerate of me at all. Very Very disappointed 😞
Very poor customer service! Customers was lined up like cattle. Two registers was open. I was next in line the cashier walked away after the customer ahead of me. I was standing there awaiting her return to register. She comes back by and says mame this register is closed. I put down my items and walked out. I dont plan on returning their no time soon.
Thought this store had changed - cashiers and floor people recently were helpful and friendly until I had to deal with a return today. Saw an employee ride in the front door on a store handicap scooter ( who was not handicapped) yelling and making a scene, saw her yelling and hang up the phone on a customer and walk off yelling some more. Clerk I was next in line for and several others walked off. Finally served and the return went smooth. There is a problem with employee disdain and disrespect for customers here for years. Avoid this store.
The people in Lowes are just swamped. That whole, go to Lowes where experts that know business is a false claim. There simply isnt enough people for there to be someone available to actually assist you. Know what you need before you get there and dont expect any help finding it. Its possible, but not likely based on my three visits.
Who couldnt love this place? I went in talked with customer service to find out information on some fencing and I gave them some information and behold, the next morning , I got a courtesy call. I set up an appointment two days later a lady showed up early which was cool. She had a professional attitude she done my yard measurements we discussed different fencing options, prices and explained how they build their wooden fences. I would recommend this store highly.
Recently, I went to make a large purchase and when I was rung-up and added a warranty. I asked her to make sure I get a paper copy as well as an email but shortly after using my card the register froze. She stated it has been doing this all day....give it a minute. WHY KEEP USING THAT REGISTER??? After waiting for a while she called a manager and then he called a manager and the best they could come up with is ring him up on the other register. I tried to explain to them that according to my bank account, the $$ was already charged. They assured me that it didnt go through but wouldnt you know it, this AM I have two large payments on my account. I dont know how they can expect someone, especially when making that kind of purchase to just be ok with it being on there twice....hell i couldnt go grocery shopping afterwards. I can honestly say I would rather drive 30min-hour to go to home depot before I trust this Lowes again.
Good people but bad communication and customer service skills/training.Also- NOT ENOUGH ATTEMPT TO LIMIT VIRUS SPREAD. No limit on number of customers in the store. Other than shields at check out and signs on the floor, I would think it was a normal Saturday at Lowe’s.
The Garden center was beautiful. Lots of new flowers. However 4 of your staff must have a problem with plus size people because they were laughing and one of said hell naw as we walked past. 3 of them even came from behind the counter just to follow us around the corner. Very disappointed in the customer service from your staff!!!
Ive been working on a project for about a year-and-a-half remodeling two different locations. I have had to come to Lowes everyday for the past year or so to get something or redo something. I must say did Ive been working with two of the most amazing employees or workers there Miss Jackie and Shane Miss Jackie knows where each and everything is Electrical Plumbing whatever you need she knows where it is and if its not there she can get it ordered for you. I am grateful that Lowes has these type of employees working because it makes my trip much easier and quicker I get in I get out no matter what the tasks is Miss Jackie is available. I recently started working with Shane and within the last for 5 months and he is just as good as Miss Jackson. He takes the initiative to take me to wherever the product is, shows me the product explains how to assemble the product and much more. I am Amazed by these two workers they have always gone above and beyond each and every time.I often time have to wait for them due to the fact that other people admire their work ethics just as well as I do. Many people often times writing to complain but Im writing in to say thank you. To the wonderful employees that are on staff at the Thomasville Lowes.
Extremely Bad Customer Service Experience, My Friends Spent 84$ on Paint that was mixed by their employees an was the wrong color even after we gave them a sample an they refused to do Absolutely Anything About it including refund my money or replace paint so a heads up if you want the CORRECT COLOR DO NOT GO TO LOWS IN BOSTON BECAUSE CJ DOSENT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING!
When we purchased the refrigerator from Lowe’s in Thomasville, Ga., we were told it would not be a problem to have it delivered before noon on Sunday. Saturday evening around 7pm we received a call and the delivery was sched. from 2pm and 6pm.We decided to stay and wait. When they arrived, I talked to both delivery personnel and explained the most important thing was not to scratch our new wood floors. I got some cardboard to put on the floor. After they installed the refrigerator, I showed them a large scratch on the floor. They both looked at me and went back to what they were doing. They never mentioned it, apologized or anything. One of the guys had his pants so you could see the entire rear of his underwear. You would be arrested if you went into a public place only wearing underwear. When the pants are so that you can see the entire back of their underwear what is the difference? This guy definitely didn’t look like the delivery guys on TV.After installing the refrigerator, you could see that it had been damaged. They asked me what I wanted to do. I told them the only option was to take it back. They never said a word, they just loaded it on the truck and left. They didn’t attempt to help clean up the mess either.I called the store to speak with someone in the appliance department. After 15 minutes the customer service lady said everyone is busy, so I needed to call back later. I asked to speak to the manager. She said they are on vacation, so I asked to speak with the assistant manager. They have a title of customer service, but I have never met one that acts like they care about helping the customer.I explain everything to the assistant manager and she said, “what can I help you with”. So, I explained it to her again and ask her if she could please get in the middle of this and help me because I knew it wasn’t going to be easy to get this resolved. She had the attitude that she didn’t care anymore than the drivers or customer service lady. I then told her that because we didn’t have a refrigerator, we had to throw out the food. We were waiting for the delivery because we had to leave to travel out of state and at this point, I didn’t have any other choice but to throw away the food. She immediately said that wasn’t there problem, that I should have done something different. It wasn’t as much about what she said but how defensive she got about it. She didn’t know if it was $5 or $100 and didn’t care. She said it was my fault that I should have called, and they would’ve sent us a loaner. Everyone knows that you don’t just call Lowes and get someone on the phone and resolve a problem that quick. I could have called them and (4) hours later received a loaner while the food sits on the counter. I asked her if this was an option then why didn’t your delivery guys mention it. I also explained that we were already (4) hours late leaving and I didn’t know it was an option but why was it my place as the customer to know these options and ideas rather than Lowes train there delivery crew, maybe they could have called somebody rather than just leave. She was very unpleasant to deal with and I could tell at the beginning that she didn’t give a damn. I didn’t mention the damage to my floors because I knew what response I would have got.Now it’s been over a week and I have not received a phone call from Lowe’s regarding this issue. She said they would call me the following day to reschedule to have the refrigerator delivered.I called the store on Monday, 8 days later, and talked with the store manager. I explained the entire issue with him including the damage to my floor. He said that he would credit my card. He called back to let me know my card had been credited. Not one time did he express any concern about any of it. He never tried to apologize for the trouble, the food that was wasted or the damage to the floor.I have learned a big lesson and never shop with a company that has such a culture about customer service. Shop local family owned business when you can.
Rude service department, assistant manager and employee. Ordered a &400 vacuum /mop Combo. Got home and was missing major piece. Called store and they were acting like I was lying. Asked for manager and she acted same way. Even asked “ what would you like me to do about it”?Very accusing that I had all parts, bc it was new. Like what do I need a vacuum handle for??Called customer service, was like an 18 year old who was like “ ok um”. I told them my husband had Covid and in bad shape so I didn’t want to drive 10 min across town again. She said that’s to bad. When the lady brought out box to finally exchange she didn’t say a word and just shoved it at me. I almost lost it.
I am new to Thomasville and it is always aggravating to have to find people that will help in new stores like my Lowes (that I have shopped with for longer than I can remember) in Valdosta. Well oday I walked in to buy a new handle for my pitch fork and a new handle for my garden rake. I happen to notice they had the blower I had been wanting on sale. But the only one I could find was the display. That is when good ol Jim came to me and asked what could he do to help. I showed him the display and said I have to find a battery and a charger for it. We (mostly Jim..... ok actually it was all Jim!!!) hunted and hunted going from one box to the next until we finally found a battery and then we went hunting for a charger. We found the charger that lays down but I was hoping to get the upright charger like the ones I have for all my other Kobalt 80V batteries. Jim said he would do everything possible to find the one I needed, and low and behold Jim found one!!!! It was like Christmas morning on Isle 29 Section 12 for me and honestly I couldnt tell who was more excited.... me or Jim. Lets just say it was Jim. Anyway, long story short... Jim was the hero of the day and I will definitely be looking for Jim every time I shop in my new local Lowes store. Jim is now my new go to guy! I hope you all give this man the recognition he deserves for going above and beyond for his customers.Thank you and God Bless you all,Christopher L. Horne
Today I had the pleasure of receiving help from Mr. Alvin in the lumber/wood department. He was very helpful from the time I walked in until I left. He cut the wood that he recommended by looking at the sample wood I brought in. He even went as far as helping me out with something in another department because I couldn’t find what I was looking for. From here on out I will be shopping at Lowe’s because of the exceptional service I got today from Mr. Alvin!!!
I dropped a star on my rating because of an experience I had yesterday with order Pickup. Ordered 3 items online available for pickup at my local LOWES. Paid with a gift card. Went to pick them up and my big ticket item looked like a badly packaged return. The two matching beach chairs were the wrong item. Fast forward an hour, couldnt find the items I bought. Had to cancel the transaction and then had to go home and fish my gift card out of the trash. Ridiculous.
This has got to be the most poorly run Lowes in the company. Every time I try to place an order here, they screw it up. I have placed orders in the past and they messed them up.Today, I tried to order an item. They told me it was ready for pick up. Went to pick it up and they had to refund the transaction because they messed it up. I changed my order to Home Depot in Tallahassee. No problems. Please put new management in this store!!
I asked for three garden flag stands to be brought to the Customer Service desk and explained I would be there later in day. When I arrived much later than expected, the stands were there waiting for me. Additionally, the staff is always courteous, helpful, and professional.
Bought 20 bags of mulch and had the staff load it because of back surgery. They came out to laid it and about 6 bags of it had huge holes in it. I made them unstack it and fix the bags. We also bought a grill. They asked me could I bring pallets back when I unload the mulch. At this point I’m pissed. So I went to get a refund and the lady at customer service said she was very sorry and got right on the situation to get it resolved and made the staff get this fixed immediately. She is the only reason they got a one star. I have spent so much money at this store with the homes we have had renovations done on. Today’s service by the staff exception of the customer service lady was by far the worst.
Been shopping here a long time. It used to be great service, but now they seem to be understaffed, have long checkout lines, and half the time when Im buy building materials I have to walk back outside to get a lumber cart because none are in store. Main reason for this review though, Ive bought a ton of kobalt tools from here over the last couple years. I have a drill that isnt working and is covered under warranty. Last night about 6pm I brought it to exchange and was told they could contact kobalt in order to exchange for warranty but kobalt was currently closed and to come back today and all I would need to bring is the drill. I went back today and was told that I need to return all items that came with the drill (drill, bag, battery, charger). So, I go get the items, return to store, and was now just told that there is no management in store to authorize a warranty exchange and that I would also need to contact kobalt myself for some type of exchange number. 3 trips I made for nothing. On top of that, I called kobalt to see if I could get something done today, but their hours are Monday through Friday 8-7. So this should have been handled the first visit I made at 6pm Friday when I was given false information that kobalt was closed. On top of that, the kobalt automated service said to exchange for warranty, all that is needed is to visit Lowes at anytime and only thing needed is the item under warranty. Frustrated with the whole situation
I had the pleasure of meeting Tosha Coleman in the paint department. She was very helpful and knowledgeable of her Job. I was searching for some paint and she suggested I try the paint had been mix but the customer didnt want. Tosh was very nice and had lots of patience. Thomasville Lowes is the place to shop for your home needs.
We tried to get flooring and paint. All the sales associates acted as if we were bothering them for help. Im sorry I was under the impression when you clocked in to the JOB you applied for then you were there to assist customers. If you dont like your job, FIND A NEW ONE!
I was remodeling the kitchen wanted to order countertops and cabinets. Brought in plans some visions with the plans that was 2 months ago really never had any follow-up have called several times have not received the return phone call.Have ordered from home Depot in Valdosta. Im sorry I cant support my local store but Id like to get this done sometime this year
Awful service with incompetency, terrible attitudes and lack of service. Screwed up a cabinet order and unfortunately I just settled and had contractor just make due with what I got with modifications because of the time frame. Decided to order a dishwasher and another terrible experience with an associate calling me telling me they couldnt fill the order but didnt know why and then the 1800 number is not any better. I just cancelled the order. Never again for me!
This store has to be the worse store for a builder to buy their products in. The customer service from Pro-services is little to none. We spend thousands of dollars at Lowes and it seems that every year it gets worse and worse. No wonder they have such a high employee turnaround and are losing thousands of dollars and have the time the computer states they have an item in the store and when they go and pick the item there is none. This is simply that the pro-service employee cater to certain customers and give them free perks. So, I refuse to spend any more money locally where the Pro-services desk is selective on to what businesses they want to cater to. They can close the store for all I care. They all deserve to be out of work. This store is only good for homeowners that buy little stuff here and there and not even at that.
I am currently seeking contact with this Lowes store in Thomasville , Georgia. I have a major complaint that needs his attention immediately. Please contact me at: [email protected] letting me know where I can speak to you personally. My neighbor who saw & heard everything is planning on contacting Corporate about the many problems we witnessed first hand at your store. I am intending on you contacting me as soon as your told or made aware of this horrible way things were handled. Surely you must keep up with reviews made by local customers doing business at your Thomasville location? I will see if you are on your toes & respond to me immediately. Otherwise I too must report these happenings to your Corporate Office.Sincerely,BJ
I havent been back top this Lowes since last Christmas when I had to load 20 of the full sized bags of sand onto a cart and then again in to my car without any help. I was told Were short staffed, no once can help you. Might have been an issue Id if I wasnt a woman with her small toddler and had a back fracture. Would have left it but it was for my kids sandbox he was getting for his birthday the next day. This incident lost them a 10k$ fence deal that I took to a company in Tallahassee who did an awesome job and respectful and helpful employees.Fast forward to last weekend, decided to give it another try and asked an associate about blinds. She literally yelled at me to let her finish speaking when I responded to something my toddler said to me.Im waking my hands of this place. Ill drive to Home Depot or any of the family owned garden or home supply stores in Tallahassee before I go to this place again.
I am only writing this review about a certain employee that works in the Garden Department. My husband and I were there yesterday and Ty the employee for the Garden Department was so helpful. He came over to us and immediately asked us if we needed help and wanted to assist us with genuine concern, it was refreshing to see someone with that enthusiasm. If you need help in Gardening, ask for Ty.
Went to look for a dishwasher. Employee was moving things around and never once came to see if we needed any assistance. Asked another employee for help and he turned us over to the other employee who proceeded to get on a personal call. He then followed us around while we looked and waited for him to get off the phone. Not once did he tell the person on the phone he was taking care of customers. We were there for over an hour and finally found out that they did not have the dishwashers in stock and it would be 2 weeks before we could get one. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at Lowes!
Went in for floor stuff...yep, I said stuff. I clearly didnt know what it was that I exactly needed. The customer service ROCKED! They were so patient and helpful. I got everything I needed and even got helpful tips on how to do the task of redoing the hardwood. I so recommend them!
I purchased many heavy bricks and 4 8ft long wooden polls yesterday. I had a hard time to check it out because it was heavy. I was checking our through garden. There was a man who is working there. He was standing right beside a cashier. He saw I was checking our heavy stuffs. But he has never offered me a loading service. As far as I know, Lowes help customers for loading. It was not a pleasant experience. It was not lowes that I have known for a long time.
UPDATEWe ordered a full kitchen set of refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. We were told it was a 6 week wait. We are remodeling our new home so we just waited and worked around it. I tried multiple times to get a delivery time as we don’t live in the home currently and need to be there to grant them access. After 5 attempts I finally got a vague response of mid-afternoon.Then I received a call 20 min later saying our refrigerator wasn’t turning on and they would need to order us a new one. They said the new fridge would be in Thursday or Friday of that week.I called again today to confirm the exact date of delivery and install as I have other contractors working at my new home. Now I’m told Monday delivery install, of which Lowe’s didn’t even inform me. I had to call and find out myself by badgering them for information. Atrocious customer service in the delivery sector. I will not use Lowe’s in Thomasville again for any services.UPDATEWe ended up having to drive to the Valdosta, GA location and physically take home and install the floor model ourselves in order to get our refrigerator. We received 0 compensation for our work/install that we’ve had to do for Lowe’s.My carpet was supposed to be installed 12/14/18. No one from their subcontracting company Keller Interiors called me today to tell me an install date. After 5 phone call attempts I was finally told they weren’t coming because somewhere between Lowe’s and Keller they got my material amount wrong and won’t make the install date I waited 6 weeks for. Now I have no install date and therefore no move in date, which I very clearly said 8 weeks ago I have to be moved in by Christmas. I also have received 0 compensation or restitution for this 2nd issue. Do NOT give this company your money. Beware!
The Beautiful Lady at Check out was being yelled at by a customer whom was totally in the wrong and your cashier kept a very sweet tone and kept trying to explain ever so nicely to the very rude customer and she called her manager and had her to come out to the lawn and garden check out and help her with this customer. Your employee deserves a huge hug and pat on the back. Me and my husband were in line behind the customer whom was so very ugly to your employee and your employee stayed ever so sweet even though the customer was using cuss words on Christmas Eve Day!Merry ChristmasThe Tates
First time Im visiting this store and for the first-time I have to admit that its changes my opinions about Lowes, is just as been in a different world, all employees was very helpful and knowledgeable, respectful and polites, big difference than the stores here in Tallahassee.
I would say that the greeter at the front door was very nice the inventory that I needed was not there and you need more experience help I dont hold that against Lowes its still the place I go to get what I need but I had to ask an employee twice to help me on a very popular light fixture shes simply said were out stock and when I turned back around to ask her if I could order it or when it would be in she was gone I expect more from Lowes maybe next time I need something Ill drive from Boston Georgia to Valdosta and go to Home Depot they always have what I want and they are always willing to help so you havent lost me as a customer but my confidence in your inventory is pretty slim and get someone in there that knows what theyre doing
Wanted to let everyone know that Tycara Davis in the paint department did a phenomenol job in assisting me with my paint needs in the Thomasville Lowes. She was really busy at the time, however, was expedient in helping all that were at the counter to get paint. I got in and got out of Lowes in record time and I attribute it to Tycara and her being on top of things as well as being able to multi-task. Great job Tycara and Ill be back in Lowes again soon!

2022-05-02Most of the times I go to get material or hardware it is out of stock but on-hand shows they are in stock. But what burns me the most is I wanted to get a new orbital sander, so I go to my app it show 2 on hand and gives a location but no price, instructions say add to cart go price. The price was 27 dollars and change, I drive to Lowes only to find is for online sales only according to the consumer service representative, I call her Miss Atatude. FROM NOW ON I WILL DRIVE TO HOMEDEPOT.

2022-05-09Mike at the paint desk was so helpful and nice in helping me match a couple of paint colors. After moving it feels like the projects are never ending but this Lowes always has what I need.

2022-01-01Lowe’s associates Aysa, Fred, Ed and Shane gave excellent customer service. The were delightful and were proactive in reaching out to assist me in each area. It was one of the most pleasant visits that I have ever had to a home improvement store. Kudos to Lowe’s for customer service training. The store was was also neat and tidy which is always a plus for a great shopping experience.

2022-05-28Bought a broken freezer, no answer when trying to call, returned, then had to wait extremely too long for service, no employee seemed to care and they were very apathetic. Honestly shouldnt be surprised since this is thomasville.

2022-02-09I order a wall oven at Lowe’s and paid cash. Sound pretty easy right?!? You’d be wrong. After ordering it and waiting for a year plus it finally came. Lowe’s sub contracted it out to a company that’s has no experience with wall ovens. The installation guy show’s up and damages the oven and my cabins. Then proceeds to tell me that the oven will not fit. I had them take the oven back and requested a new one. Plus I now needed my cabinets fixed. Fast forward another year and I still don’t have my cabinets fix’s and I don’t have an oven. Lowes took my money and my time and I’m still waiting. On the 6th of February 2022 I get a call telling me I have a oven and they will be at my house on the 7th to install. I waited all day but no one came. I called and was told they did not have the oven. Then yesterday I received another call saying that on the 9th of February I would have it. It came but there is no one to install it and my cabinets are still not fixed. The delivery guy actually wanted to leave it in my driveway. I told him no!!! Call the store and was told that there was no one available to install it until the next day. I don’t know about the rest on the world but days off of work do not come easy and time is money. I will never do Business with the store again. I am a very angry customer!!!

2022-05-01Avoid the mens bathroom, its nothing short of a travesty in there. Worst maintained bathroom of any lowes I have ever seen. Everything else seemed par for a lowes. 1 star purely for the abhorrent condition of the bathroom.
