The best place for dessert in Savannah, especially if you are a chocolate lover. We had a chocolate cheesecake with salted caramel, and an chocolate walnut cappuccino brownie. Both excellent. And fun drinks available too. We went to a place with better marketing our first time in town, now we know to come here for dessert every time :)
Through my current profession I met the owners of Lulus Chocolate Bar. They gifted me a gift card for Christmas one year. I finally got a chance to use it on a date. My date had the white chocolate covered strawberries and for a late night snack we added a slice of Raspberry swirl cheese cake and a slice of vanilla bean strawberry cheese cake. Delicious can not begin to describe how good it all was. Best Chocolate spot in Savannah. Thanks Mike, Rebecca, and Roux!! See you again soon.
Adorable dessert spot with lots of options to satisfy your sweet tooth. We tried the chocolate peanut butter pie, white chocolate covered strawberries, and the cookies and cream ice cream. The pie was decadent and the ice cream was super creamy. Im not a fan of white chocolate but my son really enjoyed them. I would definitely return to try some of the cocktails and other desserts.
A few years ago, my husband and I visited Savannah and went to Lulus Chocolate Bar. As soon as we planned another trip to Savannah for this past week, I knew we had to go back to Lulus. The rapture sundae for two is amazing. We will definitely return next time were in Savannah!
Came to Lulus after dinner at Cotton & Rye and was excited to try some inventive chocolate desserts. I loved the sipping chocolate and the chocolate chip cheese cake! Staff was so friendly and were clearly having a good time at work. Great place for an after dinner dessert drink / date spot.
Oh my geeeerd!!!! This place was fantastic! Every bite was delicious!. Ended up having a cup of liquid hot chocolate, along with a hot mocha and two slices of cake. We chose the strawberry suspension cake and the flourless chocolate tort. Both were decadent! This is a must stop when you are in Savannah. Molly, Dylan, and Sarah were fabulous hosts and fun to talk with.
I was trying to buy a cake for my daughter in law’s birthday The hotel concierge Calvin was kind enough to offer a pick up as the bakery is very close to the hotel. It was my daughter in law’s birthday the following day and I really wanted to surprise her with a cake and champagne in her hotel room and the concierge was trying to help meThe person I spoke to was very rude. I had called to ask if they would deliver initially and when Calvin offered to pick up I called to say someone can pick up and that I would take any dessert including chocolate covered strawberries. Later on I thought I would just ask them to put a dessert aside and my son can go pay for it and get it Sunday when they open.I called and before I had a chance to explain the person told me not to call again and hang up on me. I was stunned. I had done a similar thing last year for my daughter who was visiting key west and I was met with very pleasant helpful people who did everything to make my daughter happy. Even if lulu’s chocolate bar’s cakes are the best the rudeness of the employees would cancel it all out. I would not recommend this arrogant and unprofessional placeLinda
The desserts here are absolutely fantastic! Dont pass up on the Strawberry Suspension Cake and crème brulèe! Both are delicious and are not overwhelmingly sweet, it has just the right amount. However, if you are looking for sugary boost, make sure to add a scoop of their pecan flavored ice cream, very sweet and tasty. There might be a wait when you arrive, but it definitely worth it, you wont regret it!
Found late one night after dinner and popped in for a quick dessert. SUPER impressed with the food. Had a great chocolate raspberry martini as well. The vanilla bean chocolate chop cheesecake was incredible and so happy we took home the flourless chocolate torte for later. Nothing disappointing at Lulus!
Delicious!! Crème brulée was so creamy and good sugar crust on top. I had the white chocolate chocolate chip cheesecake. It was also extremely creamy and great texture. One of the best cheesecakes I have had. My husband had the chocolate chip cookie with. Caramel pecan ice cream. YUM! Very good flavor on the ice cream. I would highly recommend this place. They are super nice as well.
This place was such a disappointment. My husband and I were really excited to try this place from the good reviews but honestly it was subpar. We arrived 45 minutes before closing. We were told there was a 15 minute wait to dine in which was fine with us. We waited 25 minutes and then at the time our table would have been called they told us we could only order take out. They sent another party away as well. There were several tables that had been empty for 10 minutes at that point. If we were going to be turned away anyways we should have been told.
I was really excited to come here been wanting to for years. Dont get me wrong the food we had was amazing the chocolate covered strawberries were so sweet and juicy, the service was nice but couldnt recommend any drinks even when they ran out of supplies to make mine, they dont know their own menu and didnt offer us one. The drink they replaced it with was very unbalanced. Wayyy too much alcohol. It burned going down and I couldnt even drink it we just payed and left I was soooo disappointed bc I wanted this drink so bad. Also the space is so small and the bartender was only one girl working her butt off, so idk if it was that she cant make drinks or was just in a hurry. It wasnt worth what we payed unfortunately. I see photos on here of great drinks and Im just really disappointed
Online order through their website will save you some money vs. ordering through Google platform. Avoiding unnecessary service/processing fees. Besides, its quite easy and effortless. It was quick. They got all the desserts ready and handed to us when we arrived ( in 10 to 15 minutes). 💨🍰🍮🥧🍫When all this craziness is over, or when its safe enough for all to be allowed to roaming through the show case of all the heavenly desserts lane, well be back and handpick our own piece of happiness 😁Our vote for now is definitely the chocolate mousse with layers of fresh cream, chocolate mousse with the bottom layer of hard milk chocolate. Yum 😋👍🥰. Then the strawberries chocolate cake, the cream brulee, and last but not least, the walnut brownies. Sweet heaven 🥰💝😘
Update: We stopped in tonight and this is STILL our favorite place for decadent desserts and wonderful service! I got the three layer mousse and my daughter got the three layer chocolate cake. Perfection! Thanks again Lulus 😁The drinks and desserts are amazing, such a fun treat!! The service is always excellent, i have never had a bad experience here. We go there every time we are in Savannah, its a must visit place for us.
6+ staff on site working. 8 customers. I ordered a piece of cake. I was told it would be 5 minutes. While waiting 5 minutes I watched 3 staff members chatting with one another and a 4th laughing with someone on his cell phone. Evidently the cell phone talker was the chef and only one qualified to cut a piece of cake. I asked why I had to continue to wait. The person who tooky order said they had a system and only certain people could cut the slice. The chef, off the phone now, said he would get to me in a minute. Cake and experience = never again.
We ordered take out desserts. While we were standing in the front waiting to order a staff member came by to set up outside tables and pegged my MIL w the table, never turned around to apologize. We ordered & were standing near the front waiting for our order (no one else behind us) when another staff member came over and in the absolute rudest way possible told us we needed to wait outside despite only 3 patrons inside the store and no one else in line. The desserts are good. The staff has horrendous manners. Its sad bc I had talked it up so much before we went but I could see the look on my inlaws faces at the rude way we were treated and I immediately wished I had not taken them here. Poor form lulus
#1 Dessert Location in Ga. ... hands down.Anytime we go to Savannah, this is the one place we know we’ll be visiting! There are choices for everyone! We take our children during the day time/ or enjoy the intimate setting for date night later in the evening. If you love sundaes, I recommend the rapture Sundae. It’s entirely edible.
My FAVORITE Savannah spot so far. A hidden gem we were lucky enough to find our first night here and have had to visit every night since. This is an adorable little restaurant with eclectic fun atmosphere, quirky art, and EXQUISITE desserts and cheese plate. Every flavor is a decadence you can’t help but savor. I love the staff, so much personality, so much fun. Whether the place is packed, or quiet it’s a lovely experience from start to finish. My friend adores their peanut butter pie. I loved the triple chocolate mouse tower and creme brûlée sampler. Honestly I have tried something different every night and loved it all. Our favorites for the cheese plate were definitely the truffle cheese and the fancy sausage, but every flavor is delightful and blends well.
This place is so cute! We came here in the afternoon after we had been drinking and needed a little caffeine pick me up, but it is so cute for a date! It has a full bar and serves the most delicious desserts.I could see how at night it would provide the perfect atmosphere for a date! I absolutely loved this place. We had the Smore double espresso. It was the perfect combination if sweet and coffee. On their menu they even had coffee drinks spiked with alcohol if we had wanted to continue drink (but we had a long day ahead of us and my hubs is a light weight.. JK honey in case you read this... You are the man & I love you 💋). Anyway, their desserts were mouthwatering... I thought about licking the display case but my husband general is stays embarrassed by me so I didnt want to spoil the afternoon. Men listen up, if you are trying to score some points ... this is the place. This could also be a really fun girls night out, leave the hubs home with the kids night (wink wink). I say this place is a must go to.
Best desert bar around! We had the fondue for two and the creme brulee sampler. Both were incredibly delicious and also beautifully plated. Service was great. I went for my birthday and they brought me out a chocolate covered strawberry on a plate that said happy birthday in chocolate sauce. They also have really good espresso drinks and desert martinis!
There is nothing like having a delicious treat after dinner. I hadnt been here in a long time and wanted to take my friend Katie to try it. I order a Chai Tea Latte which was made to perfection. Also we had a dessert there are 2 options one with alcohol and one without. We chose the one without because I wasnt drinking. This dessert is a must try first of all you pick your 3 scoops of ice cream. They scoop it into this homemade chocolate bowl they make in house which makes it even better. They give you several different sauces to put on it as well plus fresh fruit. After you finish all of the goodies inside the chocolate bowl you get to eat the bowl which is amazing. Whether it is a date night or just a girls night this place is a must try.
Ummm... I was very excited to try Lulus I heard so much great things about them that I just have to give them a try. So a girlfriend and I linked up one Friday night and decided to give them a try. We got their about 8:25 an had a 15 minute wait which I thought was pretty great considering it was a Friday night. We get seated and our waiter was great he was knowledgeable about the product he gave great suggestions on what was good and what he liked and so far Im enjoying my experience. The joys ends when we start looking at the desserts 🍨 and I decide on the White Chocolate 🍫 Cheesecake, the cheesecake tastes dry and limited flavor my guest ordered the turtle cheesecake I asked about switching my orders to the that to which he replied no you cant do that you would have to buy a another cake, so Im slightly annoyed, but Im trying to make the best out of this night. So Im like never mind Ill just ordered another drink I order a salt caramel martini 🍸 and when I say it was nasty 😷 yuck! I was like I cant drink can you take it off my bill and he again was like no we cant take it off your bill we can make you another drink and I was like I dont want anything else I just some want to pay for that drink I dont like Im already paying for a cake I dont like. So hes getting annoyed and he walks over to his manager and they talk for a few minutes and he comes back over and was like my manager said you can keep the drink and we wont charge for it, but he say it in a way as if he feels I just order the drink just to complain, because I was upset about the cake. So I am no I dont want to pay for it so you can have it back. He took the drink didnt ask my guest if she wanted anything else came back with our bills, so Im like ok cool no worries his tip is going to reflect his poor attitude. But Im willing to give them another try in the near future.
Really unique and cool spot to chill and enjoy some good dessert and drinks. The Lulutini or Chocolate Martini rocks! It had a great chocolate flavor while still giving you a really good kick!We had the cheese cake, and chocolate cake and I have to say, it was amazing! The cheese cake is the best I have had so far. Staff was nice and helpful. Since we had 4 kids with us, she cut the cakes into smaller slices for us.Please stop by there when in Savannah.
I had a blackberry sangria. Bit of a strange taste for me. Had the chocolate cake with strawberry suspension. Didnt like the chocolate, the strawberry was sour. Had the cheese plater. The cow milk cheese was great and the bread was good. The server was very polite. Would I eat there again. Probably not.
LuLus Chocolate Bar has always been a must do when we visit Savannah. The desserts and cocktails are always top notch and the staff is always friendly...even when they are slammed. The best cocktail for us was the Chocolate Covered Strawberry martini...yum! All the desserts are great....you cant go wrong with any choice. Do yourself a favor and make sure you visit if youre in Savannah!
Went to Lulu’s for dessert on my birthday weekend. They did not disappoint! We got chocolate covered strawberries, a slice of key lime pie, a slice of pecan pie, and a brownie that was crazy delicious! Everyone in our group was very happy with their selection. If you have a sweet tooth, definitely stop by Lulu’s
Lulus is an amazing place to go for dessert and chatting or for a drink. They can be pricey 8$ for a delicious spiked iced coffee or 11$ for a mind blowing raspberry Godiva chocolate martini. We had the best bartender whose name I cannot remember but everyone Ive ever met there has been very friendly and eager to suggest things they think youll enjoy. The drinks are crafted. Not made. Crafted. Amazing desserts that would be an amazing way to wrap up a date. There were several very cute couples sharing cake.
Not family friendly at all. If I am able to give them no stars I would. If you dont understand how kids behave or work when it comes to ice cream then dont serve it. We were extremely disappointed ☹️ we were debating on coming in the first place as we were walking and asked locals they warned us and were advised to go to a diff venue. Got order wrong, service is zero.... Dont waste your money or time.
What a fun chocolate bar! Loved the modern music, low lights, but most of all the desserts. My husband and I shared the fondue for 2, and each drank a different boozy coffee - B52 Coffee and Spiked Coffee (I chose Rumchata in it). The goodies for dipping were fresh and the chocolate was smooth and rich - delicious! When youre in Savanah, make Lulus a must!
My first impression of Lulu’s which was highly recommended was 2/10. The immediate customer service was horrendous, however still went in and tried it out and Lilly who was our server was absolutely amazing and she made up for all the others with the worst attitudes. 10/10 for Lilly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2/10 for all the others who are clearly miserable. Cheers 🍸
After my husband decided he HAD to get cheese cake today we decided to try out Lulu’s.I am not a sweets person but my LAWD the White Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cheese Cake was unbelievable!!! We were both speechless honestly. Every flavor was perfectly balanced out and the chocolate crunchy bottom was perfect.I also got an iced coffee. To my pleasant surprise, the coffee was delicious as well. They brought over my cream and sugar and I was happy to see it wasn’t regular sugar crystals. It was liquid sugar- a syrup. Classy or nostalgic? Idk but I loved it.Great service as well. Our server got us in and out! Can’t wait till we get out next sweet tooth attack so we can go back!
Lulus is by far the best dessert bar in Savannah! Their desserts are always fresh and delicious. If youre visiting, you wont go wrong with any dessert you choose. Locals should try to get by and taste their seasonal desserts. I recently had the blackberry lemon cake (pictured) and it is amazing. The tartness of the lemon cuts the sweetness of the berries just enough.
My wife and I had the experience of a lifetime.Where else can you get a great dessert, and a nice snifter of Madeira?Lulus has great service, great atmosphere, and wonderful desserts. You can even get a chocolate martini. If you crave chocolate and do not like gluten, try the gluten-free desserts they are wonderful. Gluten-free chocoholics will go nuts at Lulus Chocolate Bar, which boasts a rotating selection of treats including flourless chocolate torte, chocolate mousse, and chocolate fondue.
This place was an amazing find for our first time in Savannah! The menu is deliciously decadent, the drinks are fantastic, and the wait staff is the nicest and most polite group of people Ive ever encountered. This bar is an excellent place to celebrate with friends or for a fun date. Highly recommended!
Amazing bartender and amazing selection for any chocolate lover . However , I read some of the reviews, so to clarify... My friend and I experienced great service but to be fair it was not busy and we did sit at the bar. We are from FL... This was a recommended Savannah spot and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
My fiance brought us here for my bday because he knows chocolate is my favorite thing. And Im really glad he did. The desserts were a great treat, but oddly enough the dreamsicle cake outdid all the chocolate items! I was shocked I liked it that much. The chocolate covered strawberries were great though. I was a little less than impressed with my chocolate mint drink but overall some great items and lots to choose from. It was very cramped though. I honestly felt every time I had to squeeze in and out of my seat that I was going to knock someones food over. I almost wish they just removed one table and made it more comfortable then trying to squeeze everyone in. But they get a lot of business especially right after dinner time. So I would recommend going a little later, like after 10. Overall though, cool vibes and sweet treats. So I really enjoyed my night there.
This place was recommended by our Uber driver so we figured we would give it a shout and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. A large menu of drinks and desserts, they also offer seasonal desserts that are not on the menu. The music selection of Mandy Moore, Jessica Simpson and Sara Bareilles paired perfectly with our rapture sundae. This is a great date night spot and it worked well for our bro date with 6 guys as well. I will certainly recommend this spot to others and will be back the next time I come to Savannah.
Decided to try after seeing it recommended, and I cant recommend it enough. Prompt, kind service, sure, but more importantly, amazing desserts. The Flourless Chocolate Torte was phenomenal. I was worried it would be too heavy, an oft problem with flourless tortes, but it was noy at all. It was just about perfect in terms of heaviness. The Cappuccino Brownie was amazing as well. Prices are not too bad, either. Drop in and try it, you wont regret it.
Went to Lulus for dessert because a friend recommended it to us. Excellent experience from start to finish! The bar/restaurant has a classy atmosphere. Menu is nicely varied. Settled on the Rapture Sundae. Ive never had a dessert this good. SERIOUSLY. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
Hello!! This is the go to for me and my BFF. The desserts are scrumptious and portioned enough for 2 if you dare try to get your folk near my plate. I dont drink sodas so the FREE lemon water is an added gem. Historic charm for sure however hundred year old floors make me a little nervous BUT my sweet-tooth power is much greater
There was only two of us but we ordered four desserts: creme brulee sampler, chocolate mousse tower, strawberry suspension cake, and flourless chocolate torte. We loved the chocolate espresso creme brulee, liked the vanilla bean (wish it had a bit more vanilla in it actually), and the white chocolate raspberry was mehhh. My friend LOVED the strawberry cake. The chocolate mousse is so delicate, light, and packed with flavor. We sat at the bar and PJ was wonderful to us. We had a wonderful time!
It was good. A little confusing because we were told there was a wait for a table but when we were going to opt for takeout, we were told there was a wait for that, too. We were fortunate to be seated before closing, as some folks were not so lucky. We ordered four desserts. I mean, go big or go home, right? Double chocolate peanut butter pie, coconut rum cake, cappuccino walnut brownie, and praline pecan pie.All were good, and luckily my other half likes peanut butter because I dont. I tried it though, and it was pretty good. He didnt care for the rum cake so I finished that one while he worked on the peanut butter. Same thing with the brownie and the pecan pie. I thought the pecan pie needed some serious sweetness added, like maple syrup or something because I found it bland, but I liked the brownie. He preferred the pecan pie so it was win-win.Prices were reasonable at $6.50-7.50 for the pieces we ordered, and if I make it back there, Id like to try one of their chocolate martinis. Well see if time allows before the end of our trip.I forgot to take pictures because we just dug right the hell in.
Do not understand how this place is that well liked. We had the Chocolate Strawberry Suspension Cake and the cookie pie. The cookie was dry and bland, the cake was soggy and they never mentioned that the cake was soaked in rum. Definitely wont be returning. Also very expensive.
What a wonderful little diversion we found in Lulu’s Chocolate Bar. Totally unique experience and worth the effort to take a few minutes and enjoy some decadent desserts or adult libations! Will definitely return to Lulu’s for more fun with the waitress and culinary delights the next time I’m in Savannah!
My husband and I have lived in savannah for 2 years and weve never been to lulus before. I randomly found lulus on Google while looking for restaurant recommendations. We decided to swing by and check it out after eating dinner downtown and took a few things to go. This place is extremely under rated. Hands down, lulus has some of the best desserts Ive ever had. We will definitely be back soon. So glad to have found this gem!
My picture doesnt do this place justice. I wish there was one of these in every city. Its like a perfect combination of dessert and martini bar, all with a glaze of chocolate. Each drink and dessert we tried was incredible. To top it off, they were playing amazing music the whole time. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting. I wanted to lounge all night.
Long wait for food to take away or dine in but the hostess was top tier and both my husband and my desserts, the white chocolate cheesecake and chocolate torte, were 100% worth it. There is a reason there was a wait and a line basically down the street for this place. 10/10 would recommend. Just dont have anywhere to be anytime soon after getting there.
Ive gone twice and both times I wasnt impressed. The service was slow despite there being more employees than patrons. At my most recent visit, I ordered the Chai latte from the menu since that is a drink I have loved at every cafe that has sold it. When I got my drink, it tasted like coffee. I had the other people in my group try it. Yep definitely coffee. I asked the server to make me a new one so to avoid messing up my order the asked me to specify what I wanted. I shouldnt have to tell her what this drink that is on their menu is. But I tried to anyways. She kept saying that its a latte so it has coffee in it. This went on for 10-15 minutes. Eventually I just ordered a hot tea with a chai tea bag so I could make my own. We paid and left. When i got back to the hotel I wanted to make sure I wasnt crazy and that all the cafes I have ever been to werent wrong so I looked up what a chai tea was. I have attatched a picture for the staff to reference whenever the staff has a customer order this item that is on their menu. I hope they know how to make the rest of the menu items as well as a simple hot tea...
Absolutely delicious! We are visiting Savannah and passed the restaurant and were immediately intrigued. We ordered the Lulutini, Coconut Key Lime Tart and Goat Cheese Brownie for pick-up. Everything was amazing. The staff was also very courteous and gave us recommendations for some places for dinner during our stay. We will definitely be back again before we leave.
We were in Savannah 4 nights, went here 3/4 nights we loved it sooo much! We tried the “other place” around the corner which doesn’t deserve to have its name said. But this place is 1000x better, better drinks, deserts,(and prices) I love that I can see the bar and bar tender-everything is ABSOLUTELY delicious here!!
Saw the less than stellar service reviews from other folks so I was hesitant to try this place. Glad I did. Received the best service possible from Laila (sorry if I didnt remember the name right). Amazing concept. Sipping on whisky and enjoying a yummy ice cream go perfectly together. Give the place a shot. Cheers.
Update 5/13: based on the response by the owner I’ve updated the review on the simple fact the read and replied professionally. That changes the game in my book. I should have mentioned the other things we did get were very tasty I was just upset walking all the way back to the hotel to find things missing. Kudos to the owner for handling things well. While this place is highly recommended and has great reviews we put our name in on Saturday night. It was initially crossed off as someone else’s name but they let us in so cool we knew wha my we wanted. Got the takeout home and ordered a slice of pie and cheesecake and 6 strawberries (a double order) however, There was ONE strawberry of the 6 in the package so total fail on this places part. Not sure how a single order is THREE and they didn’t even get that right let alone missing the double order. Waste of money on our part by the time we got home for sure. I mean I’d get the missed double order but even screwing up the single order of 3 and only putting 1 is simply a total fail IMO and I get that they were busy but that’s basically stealing and while the pie and cheesecake were good it wasn’t worth the wait or the missing items. Be more conscious of ensuring orders are correct next time for the sake of other people reading this review
The chocolate suspension cake was A M A Z I N G!!!We felt super safe on the restaurant, they only allow one party at a time inside the restaurant, we waited outside for a couple of minutes under a heater (it was pretty cold) and then we got inside and order our desserts to go. Its a must to wear a mask and they make you feel super safe, we really appreciated they take customers health very seriously. Staff was super nice and got our order fast and perfect.Definitely recommended!!
Very bad service, sad to see. Went to Lulus today for my Aunts birthday with 8 people. We were all wanting to order drinks and desserts. The girl at the door let us in and the two people behind the counter would not come up to the counter for us to order. We stood there for 10 minutes and the two people behind the counter told us to hold on and continued to ice a cake and ignored us. We waiting a few more minutes and walked out without buying anything. Very disappointed with this experience, we will not be going back.
Lulus is great! Ive been there plenty of times - my personal favorite things to get there are the big cookie and the white chocolate chocolate chip cheesecake. The service has always been very good, and the people who work there are very nice and helpful. During my last visit, I was served by an employee named Rachel, who was incredibly nice, and Dylan, who drew a funny drawing in chocolate underneath my cheesecake at my request - it made my night! If you have the chance, go give these guys a taste.
The dessert was alright and all but the people are weird there. There is a bouncer at the front that blocks the entrance asking if you are going to eat in our take out. She lets you in no matter what though. But says there isnt a server if you are going to eat in....welllll that could be you? Ok but after placing my to go order and paying the other lady asked me to go outside and wait. Its hot as he$$ and humid and there are no chairs outside. I politely asked if I could sit down inside and wait (at one of the 10 or so empty tables) and she obliged. I just think it was rude to ask someone to stand and wait in the heat. I could see if the place was packed but there was literally only one table taken.
I took my wife here and she absolutely loved the decadent desserts and delicious hot drinks. The atmosphere is super chill and the noise level is a little loud but thats to be expected on certain nights. The staff were great and the prices were fair for what you got and how amazing it tasted. We will definitely be back.
The best dessert bar in all of Savannah! I have been here many times over the past year and I have yet to be disappointed in the slightest. Their martinis are out of this world. I cannot even recommend a specific one because they are all very very good! Not into drinking your dessert? Thats just fine! The desserts they offer have all been delicious. From the pies to the cheesecakes, I promise you, you will not be disappointed!
I love this place we havent been to Savannah in six years but when we ate here six years ago it was delicious. It is still the same delicious dessert place with even better desserts than I remember. The service is great and we ate here twice the cookies, brownies, cheesecake, ice cream, and PECAN PIE yes all caps is one of the best. Trust me I am from the south and this comes close to my grandmother’s homemade pie!!!!
I love cake. Do not choose the strawberry chocolate cake - zero flavor. Whipped middle was bland, chocolate ganache was bland, chocolate cake was completely flavorless. Just dont get it. The chocolate on the bottom of my friends chocolate mousse was really yummy but since I bought 3 pieces of the strawberry chocolate cake I was terribly disappointed. So bed by this waste of money. Next time, Ill try the grocery store?
Ordered a slice of pecan pie for take out. It was $8 and disappointingly small. For $8 I expected a regular sized piece at least. This felt like half a slice. To be fair, there were alot of nuts, more nuts than sugary filling ratio. But still. Definitely not the best pecan pie Ive ever had, especially not for the price.
Ive never had a bad experience here. Its a great after dinner treat. They have tons of different dessert options and also a bunch of dessert wines and martinis. If you need something sweet and its late, stop in here. The wait can sometimes be too long but try to get in a little early and youll be fine.
Must do when in Savannah! We had a short, 10 minute wait on a Saturday night ! We were lucky to sit at the bar, which is our favorite and Louis was our server/bartender. He made great martinis , offered dessert suggestions, and let us try a couple martinis. We had the peanut butter martini ... wow!!!! The chocolate mousse was TOO DIE FOR! Light , fluffy and amazing! The peanut butter pie was the best we had ever had and we have tried a few ! We will be back next time we are in town! Huge thank you to Louis!
It’s not very often you find a place that you “have to goto while ‘here’” but this is in fact that place. Desserts that you talk about 1 year after the fact or even longer and terrific cocktails. Great staff and an indifferent hostess. No charcuterie which let us down but COVID messes everything up.
Hostess was a bully and irrational. She was completely unfair, unpleasant, and aggressive. We had a group of 5, she stated that we would have to wait about 30 minutes for table, or we could order desserts to-go. As we stood in line for food to-go, a table of 5 left. The hostess refused to seat us, walked back to the host stand, then came back over to us just to tell us that there was a party of 5 in line before us anyway. That is simply not true, as we were the only people in line when we first walked up. She told us we had to stand outside in the wind and rain while we waited for the staff to prepare our desserts while the large table remained open. We planned to all order desserts and martinis for my friend’s birthday party this evening but instead I’m sitting at a different bar, cold and wet from standing outside, writing this review. We come to Savannah regularly, but we will never visit this establishment again.
Oh my. After a long, warm day of exploring beautiful Savannah, we found this gem! The desserts are fantastic, the specialty drinks superb (the chocolate covered cherry martini was candy in a glass, with a kick!). Even better? Amazing service and conversation (Shay)! Will return on every visit to our favorite city!
It a very cool place to go. Date, hanging with friends, whatever. Unfortunately, it is tight on space. The drink selections are vast, but the waiter/waitresses are not very knowledgeable on which selections are sweet, so if you havent had a particular wine look it up before ordering.Overall, this chocolate bar is decent. If I happen to go again, I will remember to take pictures.
Super friendly staff. Great drinks. Awesome happy hour and I really love the service industry special that runs Monday - Thursday. The desserts are usually good but Ive had a few misses. I love that most of the desserts are rotated out but they keep some staples too.
$11 dollars for a piece of decent cake. I had the strawberry chocolate cake. I did not feel that that it was worth the time or money. The cake was not sweet enough and dry. It was like an overly fancy dessert shop. The atmosphere was nice but the workers are understaffed and have too many customers to wait on to make you feel appreciated.

2022-01-30Dessert and cocktail-focused spot. Came here on a Saturday night around 8:30pm and the place was popping. Indoor dining is available as well as takeout. We opted for takeout and each got a slice of cake. The strawberry suspension cake was light and fluffy. Inside were two strawberries and a light cream. It wasn’t as chocolate-y as I was expecting, so if you’re looking for a heavier cake, you may wish to consider a different option. My friend got the vanilla layer cake with vanilla buttercream, and it was very sweet. I liked the texture of the frosting but you definitely want to split this cake with someone else. Each slice was ~$10, which is on the higher side of what I would’ve paid. They do accept credit cards. Single occupant restrooms are available in the back. I like that it’s locally owned. I feel like this place is more appropriate for a date night/special occasion than a quick stop to grab dessert.

2022-03-25This place is amazing! I loved how they would only let a few people in at a time whether to control the crowd for covid reasons or to help out the servers from being overwhelmed. The desserts were delicious and a great date night. If we had arrived earlier we would have tried one of their delicious coffee drinks. The service was great and we didnt mind sitting at the bar.

2021-11-18This is hands down one of my favorite places to visit when I come to Savannah. Lulu’s is perfect for dessert after a date night dinner. I love how intimate this location is, and the desserts are really nice. I also have to mention how tasty the chocolate martinis are. They are so good, but they can slip up on you. The presentation of the the desserts and martinis are lovely with a good variety of things to try. I believe they also serve charcuterie boards as well if you’re not in the mood for dessert. If you’re in Savannah, I think it’s worth trying this place.

2022-03-27Absolutely loved the experience I had at Lulus. A cute place for a date, or even get together with girlfriends. The espresso martini was divine and I would go back every day for the flourless chocolate cake. I honestly bet that anything you get here will be worth it.

2022-03-07Yesterdays visit was my first experience with Lulus, and I was thoroughly impressed with the drinks, the desserts, and the atmosphere! The wait staff was friendly and attentive but not overly so; my date and I were able to enjoy our conversation without feeling like we were constantly being interrupted, but the bartenders were never too far and knew when to approach. I highly recommend the peanut butter martini and the peanut butter pie!!

2022-06-08For chocolate and martini lovers. Desert and drinks or coffee or milk chocolate or all of the above! Trendy. Decent service. Nice place for a light date or if youre craving sweets. Take a good look at the deserts on display as you enter. They go quickly.

2022-01-05Came to Lulus last 10 years ago and it is the same great menu and fair prices for fine chocolates and desserts. Gotta come back to try some cake. Here we ordered chocolate fondue. Shared by two but there is plenty to share with more.

2022-03-26Food was good, and we had heard that its worth the wait, but the wait was stupid. There was 7 tables open and they told us here was a 30 wait. We waited and watched those tables. It seemed more like they wanted people waiting to get in. Was not worth the wait at all. Pecan pie was good, everything else wasnt and it was way over priced. If it would have been great price not an issue at all.
