Person who work at 1st floor named Franca(?) not sure what was name is, she is rude , cranky ,old women. I went there to return something on online purchases and she didn’t know how to. Spend 10-15min and she didn’t know how to returns something and she was saying i will mail the certificate to email without any receipt. And i asked for one and she got angry for no reason and end it up cancel the refunded. She doesn’t know how to and she is dumb as a rock. I ended it up going 2nd floor at the back customer service and asian lady help me. She was so nice and refund my purchases for 3-5 min. Please Macy! Get rid of that old women(frana) at the 1st floor!!!!!
I came to this place to return an item that I ordered from Macys online. I had to visit 5 different cashiers locations to finally have a service. I feel almost sad this place is so empty and not much of traffic in the department. Maybe consolidate the cashiers to fewer locations to provide better service? Something needs to be done here soon.
I had to go to this Macys bunch of time in November 2021..Mens department employees are cordial.The team leader in Mens Dept, helped me big with a critocal refund on 9Th November .But other associates are not friendly at all..No one greeted me..Specially associates in perfume Dept even dared to ignore my presence.Ladies in womens perfume dept were chitchatting among them but didnt care to greet me.Was it for my head scarf?
The customer service at this location is horrible. I went to this location despite many people warning me not to because of their lack of selection in clothes. I was prepared for them to not carry a wide variety of items, but I was not prepared for the attitudes and horrible customer service. I will not be going back.
Not much to say. Theyre trying their best considering the mall is dying. The only good stores left are Mega Mart & Macys. Everything else is either gone or empty no customers. The Macys is stocked with plenty of clothes, ect, lots of deals as well. Customer service was great but when you walk inside its pretty lonely feeling. If you need something quick come here, but its not a mall or store to spend a lot of time shopping around in.
The staff at this store are always happy to help you find exactly what you need. And the prices for backstage cant be beat. I picked up a brand new pair of lucky brand jeans priced at $120 and a new shirt priced at $60, and only spent $45 for both. Definitely come check them out.
An old Mall that is falling apart. Its barely hanging on by a thread. Surprised that its still open. It used to be a gem in Gwinnett but now its an eyesore that needs to be repurposed.I was here to get tickets to see President Obama speak on behalf of Stacey Abrams. As you can see from the lines the turnout was incredible. The Democratic office of Gwinnett County is located here.
I went to Macys to pick up and online order, and stop by jewelry department to browse and this very sweet, amazing, and kind hearted lady by the name of Barbara popped from around the corner. I was browsing wedding rings for fun but low and behold, with her vast knowledge and extra friendly customer service actually ending up buying a very very nice wedding ring. I had been to 4 other jewelry dealers, but this was definitely by far my best decision.Barbara thank you so so so much, you created a very special moment for me and a very happy future fiancee.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Terrible store don’t go there just the duluth storeI believe the manger their is sleeping and left the store in a bad shapeI ordered i gift online and i selected to have a gift box but it came without gift boxAnd the perfume box was opened it is not brand newIm not going to duluth store again and i will share the terrible experience everywhere
My wife loves Macys. We were under the impression that the store at Gwinnett Place mall had been permanently closed. It turns out it was only temporarily closed at one point due to the pandemic. My wife was pleasantly surprised to find them open for business on a recent visit to the mall. A lot of other stores in and around the mall are permanently closed giving the area a ghost town feel. My wife was happy to see old friends and favorite products still available on our recent visit. We love the store but are afraid this type of brick and mortar store wont be around much longer.
The gentleman who worked in the ladies shoe department was awesome. He offered and stretched a pair of shoes for me. My normal size is 9. I needed a half size 8.5. Tried the shoe and he noticed I only needed a small amount of stretching to wear the shoe. He even advised me beforehand wear the 8.5 was available. He must have known I did not want to travel far. Shoes stretch was just what I needed. He worked fast too. I wasnt there 20 mins. Awesome!!!!
Macys is not as it used to be. You could roller ⛸down the aisles and not see another person. This was the week before Mothers day. Back in the day children had an hour to shop for a present for mom. NlNot anymore. This was also my go to store for beautiful clothing for over 60 years. So disappointing.
I visited the Gwinnett Place Mall store in Duluth, GA on 3/24/2021. I couldn’t find the Women’s Plus Dept. I found out that they no longer carry plus size at this location. It’s bad enough that plus size clothes are located next to maternity clothes and now they remove them from the store entirely. I think this is a form of discrimination. Macy’s needs to correct this. We are valid customers and deserve to be treated as such. When are you going to correct this situation. We deserve better.
I have never in my entire life received such horrible customer service. I had two trips to the store once last night and once today. Last nights trip was horrible, I asked a lady for assistance and she pointed to a side the store and said somewhere over there. I returned to the store today since i cut my visit short yesterday. There were 3 employees in the entire woman’s section. The first lady seemed to be helpful until I later realized that she threw away a gift card that had almost $50 left on it. The second lady was the one from last night who continued to be no help. Against my better judgment, I asked the same lady for help she did the same as before and pointed to an unknown place on the store. After I helped myself and went to checkout, I was listening to her talk to other customers. She told a lady to “hurry up and decide” because she had a line. She also was not very apologetic to the other customers or to me. She had to call card services for a customer. I left her line and walked all the way around the store with my arm full of clothing that I am buying. I find another register with no attendant. After searching the whole area a lady came forward and said she was in charge of two separate sections. GOODNESS!!! As we begin to check out the coupon that I had that was good for 25% off of “Reg., sale & clearance clothing & accessories.” She stated that the coupon only worked for full price items and that I could not use it on my entire $200 purchase. I was furious but was tired of being in the store for 3 hours. I went to pay and that when I realized the first lady who processes my return threw away my gift card. I had to run across the store and fish it out of the garbage can. This was my first and only experience at Macy’s. This was miserable and I wish this on no one. Please get it together Macy’s, you just lost a customer.
I dont like the last act (I think thats what they call it) for sales. I used to get great sales at Macys, but not anymore. I used to shop there a few times a month. Thats why I loved it so much.now I go in there maybe once or twice a year and often leave out of there with nothing in hand.
I purchased something that was being customized and was supposed to come back in the store with 3-5 days. The lady told me she would call me when it came back in. It has been 2 weeks and no response. I spent a 1 hour calling trying to get in contact with someone at the store. No one could get anyone in the jewelry department. I spoke with someone online and they could not even pull up my order. When I finally got someone they transferred me to jewelry 5 times and no one ever picked up. Very dissatisfied. Never buying there again
Rude rude lady at customer service on the west entrance, Her name is Mary she was there on 1.16.2021 She did not welcome me or told me to wait, she literally screamed at me the line is on this side I can’t have you over there, she definitely needs a better attitude.I’m a loyal Macy’s customer I will not be coming back to this location.
I went to the mall to feel the Christmas spirit cause the mall does not disappoint with the beautiful decorations. I was right, Macys at the mall did not disappoint but the store was empty and the mall itself was not decorated and the feeling of joy I was hoping to capture there died and I took my tired behind back home, highly disappointed. Is there hoilday cheer anywhere? Last year was a bust this year maybe too.
Went here today because Belk no longer sells MAC makeup products. When I wanted to buy Victor & Rolf Flowebomb perfume for Valentines gift for the wife, again Belk didnt carry it, but I could order it with additional shipping fee. Nope! Went to Macys and bought both the MAC makeup and Flowerbomb perfume. Fast and easy. Even faster than Amazon Prime and I know I got the genuine products. Wife is happy.
No big and tall section, so I rarely shop here, but I brought my grandmother in yesterday afternoon to look for a kitchenaid (she wants one to help make a birthday cake for every member of her sunday school class, so obviously shes a very bad person) and the salesperson felt the need to be nasty to her just for asking for help. Additionally, their sales tag made promises the salesperson quite rudely refused to honor.Ive had good experiences with Macys online and at other locations, but its like the people here want the store to close, as they made well sure that no one from my family will ever come back.
I suspect now if this location of Macys has employee training sort of thing. Or their training is completely different than rest of Macys. Because clearly their knowledge of policies, customer service, attitude and store knowledge is way lower than you would expect at Macys. Back in November, I was there to return couple of comforter sets. I forgot receipts at home so I asked the lady to look in my Macys account. She saw that yet insisted that she cant return without receipt. Such an attitude that when I produced the digital receipt on my phone, her excuse was that I would have got the lowest price which was half of original. I told her the point is not the price, its policy. YOU CANT REFUSE TO RETURN WITHIN 90 DAYS! She tried to make several other excuses but didnt admit that she was wrong. And that was the manager at customer service desk! Today I went t return jacket from backstage. It clearly says on receipt that it can be returned by Jan 31, 2020. Yet the lady felt obligated to score a favor on me by saying its past return but I will accept yours. When i pointed out on the date mentioned, she made a rule out of nowhere that this is only for purchases in December. That was also backstage manager Ms Katty. Someone go and tell her that holiday purchases starts from November and goes until December 31. And in any case, if receipt says a date, you cant verbally change it. WITH A LAME EXCUSE. ONLY IN DECEMBER. Macys, grow your staff to the level right for you. This already fledgling location will take you down big time. Show this receipt to Ms Katty and tell her to read the policies instead of making your own.
Ive been a loyal customer to Macys for years. On Saturday I went to the Duluth store to find something to wear for my daughters wedding. I met the customer service representative Una in the mens department. I was so happy with the exceptional service I received from her and had to stop to give a review on the service. She was so polite, had a lot of patience as she helped me pick out and match the colors I needed for suit. I know working in sales in not easy and you will find some representatives who are rude and dont want to help you but she displayed great customer service and need to be applauded for the service she displayed. I will continue to shop in the this department knowing she is one of the sales representatives serving the mens department.Michael Thompson
On 1/20/2020 I went to return 2 shirts that I bought on 1/19/2020. I had my receipt and the tags were still attached. The sales associate indicated that she couldn’t return the shirts due to them “being worn”...by worn she means the slight deodorant mark inside the armpit of one of the shirts—for all I know it could’ve been there when I bought it! I merely tried the shirts on and returned them the day after. Who DOESN’T wear deodorant?? It’s inevitable to have a mark there. When I requested to speak with management, she stated that she would “only” return them because I bought them the day before. The mediocre selection of clothing and nasty guest service is enough to make me continue to bypass this dump and travel the extra distance to Perimeter or Mall of GA.
Katie at returns is horrible second time I dealt with her. Attitude is deplorable she is condescending to any brown person and very nasty. ALSO SHE IS A LIAR. I have had it with her she continues to act as she is the VP of the cashiers, she doesnt know her job nor does she care to learn it. Please let her know this.
This Macys is definitely different from the one at the Mall of Georgia...smaller with less inventory, but the Backstage area seems quite a bit larger with more to choose from. Im glad this location is hanging on in Gwinnett Place Mall, I work across the street so its nice to have to browse or pick up an item during the week. I recommend visiting to help them stay in business here.
The management at this store is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!! Especially Katty... What shouldve been an easy fix turned into a 2 1/2 hour nightmare. A simple price discrepancy from online to store which should have just been price matched and over with turned into me being told to place another order online for an item that I was literally looking at. Of course, after placing the online order I was told to wait for it to show up in their system which apparently nobody has control of. Meanwhile Im just standing there waiting...liiterally staring at the item that is being processed wishing I could just pay for it and leave. And I get that Macys is not a high end couture store that prides itself on customer service, but I remember a time that they had a somewhat decent reputation. Nowadays its just like going to Walmart in terms of service. Its days like today that make me feel like companies like Amazon are not causing the death of brick and mortar stores...its just poor customer service 😒🤔
Gwinnett Place Mall is a ghost town. You can feel how eerie it is just walking around the empty mall. Well, Macy’s held up its place. This department store has Macy’s backstage all the way upstairs. Has random cool stuff on sale. Something fun to do on boring weekdays.
If I could give zero stars I would. I came to this location today with my mom because Lancome had an amazing deal going on. The employee working in this area was a hispanic older lady that was beyond rude!!! It is NOT okay to talk to somebody like they are stupid and make them feel like you are rushed to get them out. I called the manager regarding this situation and hopefully she speaks to this employee because she is NOT a good representation for Macys. I have worked retail in the past and never would I have ever spoken to a customer in this manner.
I rarely go to department stores anymore. Was trying to look for the teens/juniors section to return some pants my daughter had gotten for her Christmas but couldnt find it. Not too many service desks open and was told returns had to be upstairs. Couldnt find anything upstairs and went back downstairs after being told I could return clothes at any service desk.
Really no wonder these big box stores are closing they dont do enough to draw customers in high prices and never anyone around to accommodate you! I saw a section THAT had no one there its to much competition out here. Have a model walking arnd sometimes to show off the different close when you walk in sometimes or a greeter make me want to shop there when I can find it cheaper elsewhere
Warst customer service. Mall is not that very busy but associates are really rude and lazy. Most of them alert customers that there is a line behind them, so they should Hurry for check out. But I saw other Macys locations are more busy but they never mention to hurry their customers. Asociates need to trained in how to handle customer flow. Im writing this review because this doesnt happen to me for the first time!
Not sure what is happening to Macy’s. Used to be the best store for quality clothing. Now it looks like Sears. Not organized no one there to help. Also no returns after 30 days???? I would think Macy’s will survive since the competition is doing bad but with this lower quality, Lower customer service and mediocre styles and no return policy. This place is only going to follow Sears an jc penny and go out of business
Two days ago went to this location, purchased a Handbag and Shoes.Great customer service. Went today in cosmetics testing suncreen to make sure it wasnt sticky, when a Clinique Beauty Advisor yelled at me across the way saying the bottle wasnt a tester. It was out of the box on display like any other tester. She was rude and not customer service friendly. I believe race played a major part in her behavior so I reported her. She needs training on being customer service friendly to all customers regardless of race!!!
Visited this location today because I was interested in buying hand towels for our powder room. Made my way to the 2nd level housewares department and actually found towels I was interested in. Now the fun part, trying to find someone to ring the sale. I’ve been recovering from cancer surgery and chemo and walking is sometimes difficult for me. I have an obvious limp, and it can be embarrassing. I couldn’t find any registers open in housewares, started walking around looking for help. Was annoyed that a holiday weekend, on a Saturday, no obvious sales people on the floor. Saw another customer with a bag close to men’s fragrance. Approached the area. I counted 5 women in fragrance, all Macy’s associates standing around, lounging against the counters gossiping. I asked if one of them could ring a sale. They said “no” and told me to go to customer service. I said “there’s 5 of you standing around with 2 registers and no one can ring a sale?” I limped away looking for wherever they pointed me to. I walked into the department and thought “no, one of them is going to gladly take care of me, now.” I walked back, looked at the one who shooed me away, and said “ring me up”. The other 4 scattered. The one ringing me up kept calling me “dear”, and as I walked away 2 minutes later offered me cologne samples. I worked at Marshall Field many years ago and I’m aware that fragrance is considered a separate entity from the floor, but the ladies in fragrance ALWAYS happily rang ANY sale for customers, especially those who might be having obvious physical problems.A few weeks ago I was shopping in a Target store. I was using a small handled basket, and realized I had gotten too many things that were becoming heavy. I asked a young man stocking shelves in the beauty isle if he could bring me a shopping cart because I didn’t think I could go back to the entrance and make it back to continue shopping. He dropped everything he was doing said “of course” he’d help, retrieved the shopping cart for me and said if I needed help shopping that he’d walk through the store with me and help me shop.Macy’s and their lazy staff have a lot to learn. No wonder they’re continually closing stores.
The lady at the mens cologne area was helpful and friendly, as well as the lady at the watches counter was helpful. The rest of the staff were mostly involved with themselves and shown no concern for the customer and to see if the customer had any interest or questions about anything.
I have been looking for dresses for my 16 year old for the past week and a half and tonight was the last night to find a dress. Guess where I found the perfect fitting dress Gwinnett place mall macys. Its not dead after all. I suspect I found it because people sleep on it. But no more I will always go there first. Thank God.
This was one weird Macys. Theres a section where I truly thought for a moment I was in Marshalls instead!! They have come a long way downhill...poor Macys! They even have a section called Last Call and it just lost its class this store... I am shocked. Oh well, I guess they are trying hard to stay in business with so much competition hitting them from all sides. Sad.
I went to the M.A.C. counter at Macys this past weekend. Jasmine the representative at the M.A.C. counter was very rude and unprofessional. I was appalled at her attitude towards me as a customer. Even making a side comment, and asking if her manager was doing a make-over on me, while the manager was trying to resolve the issue. I felt disrespected, and disgusted but kept my cool. I am a long-time Macys shopper, but will never return to the M.A.C. counter inside the Macys store in Duluth, GA
I went into this location to go to Mac and get a few things unfortunately the Mac little area was out of everything and one of the ladies wasnt as friendly... The other lady was very nice to meet you... This mall is dead and Im not sure why but its always a ghost town
These people deserve to be shut down. We had our car broken into in their parking lot, and because theyve refused to fix their cameras for the past 6 years the cops have no leads. While we were speaking with the authorities, they received another call saying that another car had been stolen. The manager was useless, and did nothing to try and correct this issue. If I could give them negative stars I would. Protect your self and your belongings, and shop at another mall.
I was shopping for 3 hours at Gwinnett mall at the check out started my night mare I have been a gold member since 2005 I have been shopping at Gwinnett location for the longest also have a credit card. I have a merchandise certificate that I was trying to use yesterday.I called yesterday before my visit to the Gwinnett location the credit card department told me I should be able to used it and if I have any problems to speak to a manager.Renada ( cashier) call Dwayne ( manager) he didnt even say hello to me he indicated the cashier to call the number with not success cashier told me I have to called the credit card department when I called lady was very helpful over the phone until she asked to speak to Dwayne (Store Manager) so I told cashier (Renada) and she started giving me all can of excuses telling my if I was talking to Macys people they should be able to call directly to the store while I was asking her if she can call the manager she ignore me and walk away without saying a word ( I think she could say maam give a min let my call my manager ) not costumer service.When Dwayne finally showed up I just told him that the lady ( credit card department) wanted to speak to him I didnt help so I was 1 hour waiting with not results. I managed store to and he just didnt want to help.I would honor the merchandise certificate and asked costumer for driver license and gather as much information just in case its was not a good merchandise certificate .Costumer is always right it doesnt matter what. I wasnt asking for any freeDwayne did not even say anything sorry I cant help you we just have followed some rules or something...I trufuly believe is better to shop on line for people like Dwayne and Renada
Went to Macys at Gwinnett Place Mall. Looking for dress for a wedding. Spent $120+ for dress. First I had to search store to find someone to pay. Then had to ask for scanner to be removed from dress before I left counter. Also, had to ask for a receipt before leaving. She asked if I would like the dress on hanger. I assumed formal dress would be left on hanger, so I said yes please. She rolled the dress up and put it in a bag.

I really enjoyed the shopping wxperi3nce at Macys, we encountered a retired sales associate by the name of Mrs. Amy. We enjoyed the small talk as we checked out which made the overall experience AWESOME!!! She was professional, efficient and she even attended to our needs. Kudos to Mrs. Amy for being a people person with a genuine spirit of love for all Gods children.
We pay in back stage department. And only 1 cashier, other 2 do it other thinks. And 1 woman work to Macys i dont no if it is the manager or something like that, she go angry and say no more customer behind that guy and bla bla bla, but everithing she do and say, do it angry, and every one see face to face and say what happend, is no we are problem if have only 1 cashier, actually all customer were restless , because stay too much time wating turn, because only 1 cashier.
Ms. Inyoung at the Shisedo cosmetic counter has an excellent customer service - I like to recommand her to all my freinds. She always has a pleasant attitude. She is very knowledgeable about her product and provide great customer service. She maintains good relationship with her customer by informing for special events or/and new products. This Macys at Gwinnett place mall SUCKS! My son started bleeding from his nose. There were no paper towels in the bathroom. One of the employees gave me attitude when I asked her where the bathroom was! Jesus! No wonder this Gwinnett mall place sucks! This store just lost a very valuable 💲💲customer!
Womens section looks much worse than a Ross dept store. Disorganized. After waiting in line and paying for my things in the womens section, I walked out of the mens section and the alarms beeped. They left a sensor on my shoes. The rude salesman/cashier in the mens section by the calvin Klein sign had me rewait in line to remove the sensor, something that takes no more than a few seconds to do, especially after Ive already paid for my things.Atleast I found a cute dress and shoes but Ill pass on coming here again!
Today I went to Macys, I had a bad experience!!! I have to buy some cosmetics and return 1 foundation, which 1 doesnt match with my skin tone, The lady was very rude, her name is Haidi or something. She said I cant return, if I dont like that foundation then I can give it to her ! She didnt give me my mony back or my foundation, she just keep it. And she said this is closing time, bla bla bla and she dont wanna talk to me ethier, every time that old stupid do that with the client, my other 3 friends thay had bad experience with that lady too. I love Macys but that location Im not going anymore !!! i dont understand why Gwinnett plac macys hire that type of rude employee 😡😡
I bought a $950 watch for my mom and it has some problems couple weeks later. Bring it to here to return and going to get another one. But the associate was so rude. I said I want to return this one cuz it has some problems. She just looks at the watch and say: I know you wear it, I can see it then doesnt even look at me.Ok, the problem comes from the watch, not me. My mom used it cuz its a gift, a watch! Who bought a watch and never used it!? Whats she - the associate - want me to do? Never use my stuff until I can sure that it has no problem? Or never return a watch worth almost a thousand dollars even it has problem?Im not deserve to take your rudeness, maam. And sorry, I would not come back and to this Macys anymore, never. Btw, Ill not recommend this Macy to anyone.
I wouldve gave this Macys 5 stars but due to the ghetto chick named sequita from MAC, poor customer service I gave it a 3 stars because Im sure they have others just as rude as her. Like I said previously they couldve got 5 stars because they actually have some outstanding people there that deliver appropriate and amazing customer service! If you go to the thierry mugler counter they have a very kind hard working woman named Linda whos attitude is so positive I love coming to macys knowing she is working. Today I met another outstanding worker named Kerry her attitude is positive as well and shes very honest and you could literally have a great convo with her and Linda as well! So even tho they had a negative, inappropriate, ghetto worker... They still have awesome workers as well!
I went there yesterday trying to buy some make up and the way they treat you is so sad. I was wearing my job clothes because I just got out of job and they were looking at me like I was out of place there. Nobody great me nor ask me if I needed help. I walked around for a while waiting for someone to say at least hi and nobody did. Its really sad that people judge you for how your look like
This location seems to be going out of business because of where its located in the mall of Gwinnett Place however the deals that you can find at this location are unbeatable and for that reason I really do appreciate shopping here however the surrounding area in which this Macys is located which is at the Gwinnett Place Mall which makes it seem a little creepy
Ive shopped at Macys at Stonecrest for four years and when I moved to Duluth I was expecting the same stankness. But this Macys is a 10 star to me. I only purchase their Mac and in the past (Stonecrest) whem I needed more foundation I gotta bring a old tupe. The first time at Macys Gwinnett Place the clerk said Im gonna store your selection so whenever you come just give us your phone number. Now why cant other Macys be this curtious? Liking there service so much, I purchased my Michael Kor watch from there and have eyed a few other things. This will now become my home Macys especially because Im like less than 10 minutes from them!!!
This place has the worst employees ever I was trying to return my foundation because it made me break out and the lady in the Clinique section was yelling at me .Im never coming here again its better in Georgia mall .even in the mac section this lady gave me wrong shade and kept telling me I was dark and gave me my conclear darker than my foundation
I had a return and asked for assistance at a register.The guy said you need to go upstairs to customer service.I have problems walking so it took a while.When I reached the second floor asked a sales person for customer service department.She says any sales associate can take a return.Why did the guy from the first floor send me to second floor when he could have handled the return.Poor service

2022-05-07BE AWARE! I made an online order to be picked up at this store and when I got home and opened my bag, the mascara was not there only the package and the eye cream they gave me was an used one!! This is the worst store I have been too. They stole my merchandise. If you are picking up an order, DO NOT LEAVE THE COUNTER before you check your order.

2021-07-06The outside of the macys definetly feels like a ghost town or like parking lot at a beach. Its empty and dismal. But once you go inside the macys the place is very welcoming and bright.Store pickup was fast and easy. I couldnt find the curbside but I went inside the macys and Im glad that I did. I would have been under the impression the inside looks how the outside feels.Staff were helpful and friendly.

2022-07-07My brother and I are fragrance collectors. We often come into this Macy’s to smell new fragrances. We have purchased fragrances from this location on several different occasions previously. The last couple of times, we haven’t purchased any fragrances but have asked for samples. The sales lady on the upper floor who we have ALWAYS purchased with in the past (Hispanic, middle aged lady) was extremely rude today to both of us. My brother and I both were planning on purchasing fragrances from her today, but when we arrived she rolled her eyes at us and told us: “You guys are always coming in to smell fragrances but you never purchase any. If you’re just going to be smelling today don’t waste my time”. I was flabbergasted at how rude and ignorant she was, considering we always come to her when we do purchase fragrances! I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or what her issue is, but my brother and I ended up going to purchase the fragrances from a Hindu lady on the lower level who was more than happy to help us. Case and point being that I would have purchased from this lady as I always had previously if I had been treated with respect. But she was absolutely disrespectful to my brother and I and I have never been spoken to like that by anybody working in sales or customer service in my entire life. I wish I could leave a 5 star review for the Hindu lady who helped us because she absolutely deserves it, but it is safe to say that I probably won’t be returning to this location ever again due to the way we were treated today.

2022-07-10Great store. Although the mall is no longer open, this Macy’s is, and it’s not super busy. I went and was able to peruse the clearance rack and found 4 great items. Megamart (an Asian grocery-and-everything store) is almost next door, and my foodie husband goes there while I shop. What a great pairing.

2022-05-06Id like to recognize Mr. Tameru, of the Shoe department, as an exemplary customer service sales associate! I purchased a pair of shoes that were not true to the size indicated. My refund was hassle free and professional. Additionally, he assisting me with my final selection which I am very pleased with! Unfortunately, these days patient, professional courteous AND helpful customer service is not always abound especially in matters of Shoes!!Thanks for making my day a bit stress-less!

2022-06-26An employee at a different Macys made a mistake ringing up my order so when I went to do a return the employee was not able to complete it in their system. They went out of their way to make the situation right, even though it wasnt their store that made the mistake. I regret not asking the names of the two ladies that assisted me so I could mention them. I am new-ish to this area and didnt realize this Macys existed - I Look forward to shopping here frequently due to the outstanding customer service.

2022-03-19Macys was well stocked and had enough employees in mid March 2022. It was absolutely noticeable how friendly and helpful the associates were compared to other retail establishments. Associates all wore masks.

2022-06-11Nice, clean and good inventory but the mall is a ghost town. Almost all stores are closed/empty. You cant even enter the mall from this Macys.

2022-01-14I was on the 1st floor and the store wasnt crowded or very busy. Entrance sign requests shoppers wear masks. Masks are available right inside the entrance if you dont have one. There were empty areas in the section of Womens clothing, but there was still plenty of clothes in adjacent areas for Women. I spent the majority of my time in the jewelry section (to return a gift purchased online) and there was a full selection for men and women just as it was when Gwinnett Place was a thriving mall. Some jewelry selections were 70% off and holiday jewelry was marked down for quick sale. The Sales Associate, Pam, was wonderful; so nice and helpful! A full selection of name brand purses were on display. The more expensive purses had very secure safety attachments to the stationery displays. Some brands were 70% off. Great sale for all coats right now - 50% off. I am not sure when the sale ends. I was overwhelmed with wonderful memories when I walked through Macys doors!

2022-07-07Fragrance lady is extremely rude, always makes a big deal about me coming in to try new fragrances (I’ve bought several times from this location, so it’s not like I’m just coming in and not buying anything) she’s very short with me and inconsiderate. Last time I buy from this location
