Edit: The main washers/dryers under the leasing office are (for the most part) always down for some reason so it’s extremely inconvenient if you don’t have one in your unit.I moved to ATL in July and I’ve lived in the apartment complex for almost a year now and I absolutely love it. The community is safe and quiet and the staff is always so helpful and polite. Any issues I’ve had, whether it’s maintenance or anything else, it’s always addressed in the quickest manner. They take a lot of pride in ensuring that the safety and overall esthetic of the community is amazing. The location is also perfect; you have access to a plethora of businesses so you never have to travel far. I’m definitely renewing my lease and upgrading to a bigger unit. I love it here.
Tour was a joke. I understand that Covid is still a thing, but they handed me a key and just instructed me to drive down to where the apartment on display is. The complex is huge, and it wasnt clearly marked, so I couldnt even find the unit! After asking around and trying to put the key into the door, it didnt even work. The lady at the leasing office had to come deliver another key (again wrong), and finally got it right the third time. After she delivered the key, she left without showing me around, and told me shell meet me back at the leasing office. After I returned, she whispered quickly some things to me about future steps for signing a lease. I couldnt hear her, but I couldnt be less interested in the community at this point anyway. I left.If this is any indication of what the experience living here is--forget it! Its so unfortunate that they dont even try to show you the property properly, let alone try selling you on it!Also the apartment was super dumpy. I wouldnt live here even if it were nice, though.
My husband and I got this as our first place together and we have LOVED it. Maintenance responds next day and is always so kind. The leasing office has been helpful all year long when we’ve needed them. The only thing that was reoccurring was a broken front gate. Can’t say enough good things about the staff and our experience! We’ll truly miss living here!
So far Im enjoying my stay here in this community. In my situation, I had to quickly locate a place to live due to my previous residence being uninhabitable (personal reason beyond my control); however, the leasing office here noticed our dilemma and without prying too much they established a clear, straight-to-point plan to get us an apartment. I did my part and they did theirs with efficiency and diligence. Zari Young helped us acquire our apartment in less than 4 days after establishing communication. Our unit was in mint condition even with maintenance trying to finish preparing everything for us (I didnt mind them not being prepared as our leasing process was relatively FAST, to say the least). However, there was a minor issue with a bathroom cabinet/drawer; furthermore, the maintenance request was set in and promptly fixed the following day. I happened to be there in the apartment when the maintenance worker came, but I made myself as if I werent home. He was in and out like hes supposed to, cleaned up his mess, and left a completed work order. My only feedback for him and maintenance staff overall, is to knock maybe at least 3 times before entering. On another note, the general area is kept impressively clean, pool is excellent, gym area is clean and serviceable, and valet trash pick-up is now at a reasonable schedule (recent change from Sun - Th to Mon - Fri). Overall, it has been a smooth transition and I gladly appreciate both our times being valued. I look forward with promising future endeavors.
The entire management and maintenance staff is amazing! Maintenance is very timely and thorough with their work. The staff communicates often and well with us. In our experience and observation, Zari in particular goes over and beyond to support and accommodate the community’s residents. We appreciate the events and activities that are hosted on property, and feel extremely fortunate to live here with this management team in charge. Madison Druid Hills is a Gem/best-kept secret in Atlanta...as is the management!
We are a young professional couple and have been happy to live at Madison for two years. The location and amenities are great, the price is affordable and it is a very dog-friendly complex. We recently moved to a larger apartment in the complex and Dawn, Zari and Alex and the rest of the team were very helpful and professional, and made it a stress-free (and safe!) process. I am so grateful to be a part of such a nice community.
I’ve been living here for some months now and I really like it. Whenever I have an issue that needs to be fixed in my apartment, maintenance is there right away. My only issue is the noise and the bugs. I can hear the people above me every move. They are extremely loud all day everyday. All I hear is them stomping. Everyday water bugs are in my apartment. At least 5 a days. It’s scary and annoying. That’s the only downfall to this apartment so I’ll probably be moving soon. It’s gotten to the point where I am waken out of my sleep. It still is a nice complex.
We just moved my Mom in to the Madison from Philadelphia. After touring many of the local complexes I was super happy with the Madison- the leasing office staff were all wonderful. I worked directly with Mike, Ashley and Dawn and could not be more pleased with my interactions. The apartment is lovely, spacious one bedroom with good updates, a great view of a wooded area, super quiet and well maintained. It is also well priced for the area. So far we have been very happy with our pick! Thank you Mike, Ashley and Dawn for helping make this overwhelming process an easy one!
Everyone from the grounds people to the office is exceptionally nice and customer service attentive. The office is so kind and Dawn heads up a great group. Today I had two men from maintenance come in and fix a few things. I put in an order at 4:50pm yesterday. At 9:30 this morning they were here fixing things. They called me Mom and couldnt be nicer, kinder or more professional. I have been here over a year and hope to never leave :)
I moved up to Atlanta in February, and I have absolutely loved living at the Madison Druid Hills Apartments. The facilities are always clean, staff is always available, and the area is very quiet (which is very helpful being a night shift nurse). Management and staff are always very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!
I moved to Madison Druid Hills during the COVID crisis in May 2020. You really cannot beat the management at this place. Maintenance is quick to respond to any issues you have with your apartment and the staff up front are very friendly and helpful. This community is great for anyone who wants to live in a quiet apartment complex. I should mention that the community is very dog friendly to breeds of all shapes and sizes. The reason I chose to move to Madison Druid Hills is the location and price. It is an older complex so some things in the apartment may need fixing, however, it will be done in a day!
I have lived at the Madison Apartments Homes for almost 2 years now and this place is like piece of HEAVEN. I received great customer service on all matters, clean environment and also a great management team who cares about all matters of apartment living. I would like to send a Special Thanks out to Dawn Jackson Property Manager and her staff for keeping things great all the time for everyone at the Madisons Apartments Homes.Gemetric
I moved into Madison Druid Hills in August 2018 and have lived here for 9 months. I heard bad things about this place before moving in, but the new management really turned this place around. I would highly recommend anyone move in here. The amenities are really nice and the apartments have been updated well. I had a few maintenance issues when I moved in like needing a new air conditioner, the wrong ceiling fan fixture, and replacing my washer/dryer and the maintenance team responded the next day to the requests (new parts can take a day or two, but thats normal). The maintenance staff are really nice and extremely professional, and I trust them in my apartment to fix things. Some of the residents dont seem to care about the look or cleanliness of the complex, but most are polite and quiet. My biggest complaint is the gates - they sometimes dont work and are left open, the box for guests to call you to get into the gate doesnt work all the time, but sometimes it is working just fine.I love how big the apartments are and the upgrades have really made me want to stay. Its close to 85 and Lenox Mall, but it is a bit far if you regularly go into Midtown/Virginia Highlands. The only reason I might be leaving Madison Druid Hills is to get closer into the city.
Ive been living here now for 2 years and although the staff has changed a few times, the staff thats there now is very efficient and effective. Mike has assisted me a few times and made sure my issues were addressed and didnt HANDLE me as I had been before by previous leasing agents. The New manager Dawn is very effective in her communication and makes herself available for the residents as well. Im very pleased with Madison currently. As any other place there will always be issues but its how the staff handles them and you that makes the difference.
Madison Druid Hills has been making immense progress, which has really impressed me. The new Manager, Dawn, is absolutely amazing, personable, and quick to respond to any of your needs. You can tell that she is here because she has a heart for this business! The maintenance has also always been a very consistent factor here - we rarely go more than 24 hours without a request being resolved, which is unheard of at other complexes. My husband and I have come to be friends with the maintenance team and they really do a wonderful job! Of course, the complex isnt perfect, but Dawn has made huge strides in changing the way things are run and I have been impressed by her efforts and the new team! Were excited for future updates and improvements that Dawn has mentioned, such as new pool furniture, clubhouse lounge, etc. Thankful for entering our 2nd year here with a dedicated staff willing to make Madison a great place to live!
I lived here for approximately one year, and if I had remained in Georgia I wouldve had no problem continuing to stay. The community is well maintained, especially for such a huge complex, and I always got quick responses to maintenance requests and other emails to the leasing office. Its in a great location thats nice and quiet, I never had any issues with anyone, and its convenient to get on the freeway and such. They also do a good job with pest control, as far as my experience went. I only saw 4 or 5 cockroaches in the whole time I was there, and only one was even alive. Honestly impressive for that area of the South, especially since the complex is surrounded by wooded areas. They also quickly took care of a carpenter ant problem I had at the beginning of the summer. All in all, it was a great experience. I would recommend them.
Any1 who gave a negative review on this place probably brought that experience amongst themselves. This complex is GREAT!!! The staff is very sweet, helpful & communicative. The amenities, location and price alone should knock your socks off. Don’t even get me started about how you can choose an accent wall once you move in, and how they have free coffee in the resident lounge
Highly recommend! The entire staff is amazing. From the office staff to the maintenance team. They are friendly, very attentive, understanding, informative, and willing to work with you. The community is also clean and quiet as well. If you’re looking for an apartment in a good location, I recommend this one!
Ive lived at this apartment complex for two years. I have had such great experiences here. The staff is very prompt when answering you. Maintenance answers your requests almost immediately. Their amenities are always up to date and clean. Their only negatives are their gates are almost always broken. And living on the second floor, we still had bugs. I really enjoyed my time at this complex and highly recommend this place to whomever asks.
We have lived here for almost three years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a great location, we are close to downtown Atlanta, Buckhead and Decatur. There are parks near by to go hiking and ride bikes. The staff and management have changed and the most recent hires are definitely the best! Last but not least, the maintenance staff is great and they take care of our requests in a timely and professional manner. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to live.No one paid me or asked me to write this review. I wanted to because I dont know why this complex only has 2.8 stars. People tend to only write reviews when they are negative. I am also a huge advocate of people forming their own opinions about things. So you should check it out if you want to! Im glad I did.
I toured last week and was blown away. My leasing person Jackie has shown the highest level of hospitality from my initial interest, to the time I walked in the door up until now. The apartment that I was shown is spacious, amenities were far best Ive seen and this was the first property that Ive ever met the property manager while visiting. My customer service experience was and has been great. Ill keep you guys posted with my move in experience.
Marcus was super knowledgeable and friendly! He was very pleasant and honest as well. Madison Druid Hills felt like home already and we are super excited to move in. Everything about Madison Druid Hills was amazing; from the facilities to the actual units themselves. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking to call Atlanta home.
Ashley was the best! Any small issues I had moving in, she was available to fix and make right quickly. All my questions were answered and it was overall a seamless move in process. Thanks so much! Love my new place ! Maintenance here is quick, super friendly and accommodating, very happy with my experience so far.Edit: the leasing office is impossible to get ahold of, maintenance crew is still wonderful. The pool is closed for maintenance often, didn’t open until after Memorial Day. Trash valet that you are forced to have only takes the trash when they feel like it. Still love the location and my home but can be frustrating with amenities.
The staff here is amazing, especially Dawn, Edin, Ashley, and (I think his name is) Elvis. Ashley has always been helpful and wonderful. Our indoor cat got out of our apartment and hid inside a cars engine. Dawn, Edin, and Elvis helped us look inside the engine, jacked up the car to look under it, and eventually helped us chase her around the apartment complex. We finally got her back, and it would not have been possible if the staff here wasnt so amazing. They all seem to genuinely care about us and our family (even the non-human members).Thank you all so much!
I enjoyed living here however my low rating is due to poor treatment after moving out.I was told by management that I smoked cigarettes too much in the apartment (I dont smoke at all!!) and I would be charged for the odor. I wasnt allowed to do a walkthrough with them due to COVID but I did try to dispute the charge like it says tenants can do in the lease. I sent emails and called and was told someone will follow up but no one EVER did. Now 6 months have passed and Ive been sent to collections before ANYONE tried to contact me? They have my email and phone number because they sent me a bill via email but when I raised concerns about the charges they stopped responding and instead sent me to collections? I cant believe they would just LIE and say the tenant smokes and send them to collections WITHOUT trying to even contact them. I was not allowed to go through the dispute process with them PER THE LEASE agreement and now I have to contact a lawyer. This is for current residents and new residents looking to move here. They have SHADY MOVE OUT PRACTICES.
I am preparing to sign my 6th lease at this my home. I love the place! I have no plans to go anywhere. It is quiet even though there are lots of separate apartment buildings. There are lots of trees making it feel like a nature preserve. The rooms in the apartment are large and there is loads of storage. Maintenance is responsive. The coffee and snacks provided in the office area a great added benefit. The fitness center has everything I need to stay in shape. The pool is always inviting during the summer months.
I have lived here for a year and the apartment complex has been very good at handling maintenance requests. The community overall is very welcoming and I have made some great friends throughout the complex.Recently, I was moving from a smaller unit to a larger unit. My move out date was the same as my move in, giving me three hours to move my belongings.I called and spoke with Marcus, he was professional and understanding. He spoke with the property manager on my behalf and we worked to a middle ground where I will turn in the keys the next day! Allowing me full time to move my belongings from the older unit to the new, fully cleaning the older unit.EDIT: Felt I would need to update my review upon what I have gone through post move-in.When move-in day finally arrived, we received a call from the leasing office that they would like to delay our move-in date by one day. This was due to the apartment not being prepared for move-in. We had furniture, moving trucks, and more booked for the day. Understandably, we were not happy. After a hard fought time with the property management team, we were reluctantly allowed to move-in. While work was still being done. The apartment smelt like paint for days. We couldnt fully move in that day as the carpets were drying after being treated. We did not receive our washers and dryers until Friday, nor could we use the showers until Sunday morning. note we moved in on Thursday.Thankfully, they did give us three days in my older unit to use so we can shower. There were still numerous unfinished punch-list items that were not completed in the apartment. Such as nobs missing on the sliding doors to our laundry room, shower rods not being hung in the second bathroom, light switches not work, our mailbox keys not fitting in the slot for our assign box, there are more but I digress.Today, the lock to our front door was stuck. I called in an emergency maintenance request. Called the office to check the status of my door. I was asked by Marcus if I was on the lease. I have spoken to him numerous times so I was confused about this as he also helped me move in, I wrote this off as standard procedure.I called at 2PM (mind you, work order was submitted at 8AM) and I was told I need to be home to get this order finished. I was told they called me, which I have phone records to show there was no call, and spoke to them to achieve resolution. I understood but was frustrated as I needed to leave work to get this resolved. It is now 4:01, after sitting on hold for 20 minutes with Marcus, someone is coming to fix my door. I am extremely frustrated by the recent turn of events. I will update this review in three months if the relationship changes. The lock has been fixed. The maintenance staff here absolutely rocks.
I really enjoy living at Madison Druid Hills. The staff is very helpful and the apartment is beautiful - wood floors in the living spaces and great appliances. I really enjoy that the complex has a lot of greenspace and full-grown trees, and I have a large balcony. The laundry facilities are great too. My neighbors play loud music sometimes, so it might be good to look for a unit that shares less walls with other units, if you have the choice.
Ashley was an amazing leasing consultant! She provided all things I needed to know about Madison Druid Hills. She was super patient, worked with me and was extremely helpful during the leasing process and touring. Super outgoing and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to lease here!
Hello,I have been living here for about 6 months. It was a rough start. But, I am so thankful for all the improvements. I must admit things were pretty rocky here, but since new management stepped in, things have gotten so much better. From maintenance, to office staff, to improvements to the pet park, to other improvements and Luxer Box!!! Yes!!!! I really appreciate the improvements and love this community. The professionalism and care is good too...and the open door policy is great. Anytime there’s is an issue there’s staff willing to help. 😊Keep it up Madison Druid Hills!!!
Ive lived here through many changes in management, andI have to say, this one is stellar! Dawn (manager), Zari and Francis are top notch. Everyone that works here goes above and beyond to keep lines of communication open and our living experience comfortable. We (residents) asked for a sunshade in the dog park. Dawn made it happen, and during a pandemic! We let her know the fencing was a little loose, she took care if it (and it was not an easy fix, but she kept trying until a solution was found). The manager, on her day OFF, came to help a few residents trouble shoot a problem with a trapped bird. The property is beautifully maintained with a pool, tennis courts, gym, fire pit, grills, and dog park. The apartments are reasonably priced, updated and very pet friendly! The manager arranges for food trucks to come every week and always plans fun activities (like a pet costume contest, free pizza night and hot chocolate wiith smores by the fire pit.) We love living at Madison Druid Hills!
If you are looking the best place to live you should definitely come to Madison Druid Hills. Besides great location, the common areas and the apartments are constantly taken care by the maintenance staff (they are great). The Assistant Manager is at the office always to give you a hand every time you need. In summary, great place to live, good staff and people always looking after you, what else you can ask?
Marcus it a great job showing us around the property. The Aspen it’s a nice size even though it’s one of the smaller ones. The fitness center is beautiful and if you’re interested at all in health you’ll be happy. All in all Mark is it a great job showing us around the property. The Aspen it’s a nice size even though it’s one of the smaller ones. The fitness center is beautiful and if you’re interested at all in health you’ll be happy. All in all in excellent experience an excellent experience
We really loved staying at the Madison, but the last year was just not pretty. The staff at the Leasing Offices, changed every two weeks. There were no contact persons and most were not friendly either. If you needed help you were left alone. The apartments are not particularly up to date. The bathrooms are rather 70 years style and rather bad. The kitchen appliances are old and barely functional. Renovated only if you move out. Our carpets have not been cleaned for more than 6 years. It was very pleasant to stay there with my dog, but unfortunately the old dog park was closed and an artificial dog park was opened for this purpose. But now why I only give one star. We have canceled and from the time we were shown, we are only a little worth if you rent. We were told that at the beginning of March someone would come and see if the apartment is in order or if we would have to do something before we move out.The guy came only after we had asked, because he had simply moved us before. His visit to the apartment took two minutes and he told us that everything was alright and we did not have to do it. Unfortunately you do not get written. If you asked for it you were asked to leave. Actually, our rental agreement was just under a week but we decided to go earlier and clean the apartment. As so often, the water was turned off and we had no water to clean the apartment. I then brought with buckets water from the pool to be able to clean at all. We wiped for three hours, soaked the rugs, wiped out the cabinets, closed the holes in the walls. Unfortunately we did not clean the fridge completely and so we were told 5 days later, after the contract expired and we had no chance to do anything to keep the $ 150 deposit. That can not be serious. Because the fridge was not completely wiped? In addition, they charged us with the bowls that are open on the stovetops. These trays do not last and were not supposed to renew them every few weeks. They charged $ 75 for that. For aluminum trays? Nobody went to the apartment with us on the day of handing over the keys to see if everything was alright. Honestly this is rip-off and does not belong.
I have lived here for close to two years. Any issues have been resolved immediately. The new property manager is very understanding and has been great. They have invested a lot of money into property. The dog park is amazing if you have a doggy.I plan to resign my lease as soon as it comes time. Which will put me at three years. Take the time to come in and visit.
I LOVE living here! The lovely ladies in the front office makes it less stressful! They are willing to help you understand any questions you may have. They are knowledgeable. The maintenance crew here is amazing and fast and they care about your safety! This is the place to be! 😁
I am happy to be a resident of Madison Druid Hills. All of my maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner, I feel important and appreciated by my leasing office. They take good care of your needs and concerns. I would recommend Madison Druid Hills to anyone looking for a nice community to reside in.Dawn, ManagerAshley CMike BAre exceptionalThanks
I came in recently and spoke with a young man named Marcus. He was well polite and full of energy. My wait was not long at all; however the atmosphere was welcoming. Not too many people ask questions like; Would you like anything to drink? Marcus offer me a beverage and assisted me with all my needs prior to taking a tour. As we conducted the tour; I begin to ask questions. He was there to provide answers to all of my questions. Marcus was well knowledgeable on the property and pointed out great selling features, while on tour. We also shared a few laughs while on tour as well. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is currently on the market. I give this Property and Marcus the Leasing Professional five stars for such a great customer service experience.
Terrible place to live. Stay far away. I moved here from Michigan (18 hour drive). I was told I was supposed to move in on a Saturday, but I ran into some terrible weather in Tennessee and was a couple hours late. They told me Id have to stay in a hotel until Monday. Nobody could meet me to give me a key because theres things they have to go over, with me before I can sleep in my apartment I guess. The staff is rude, the Water was cutoff all day yesterday until midnight when it was only supposed to be out until 6. Every single washing machine is out of order right now, but when they do work its $1.50 per cycle. They enter into your apartment without telling you when youre at work.Im missing a ton of things. But if anyone has any questions Ill be more than happy to steer you away from this place. The Management is in over their heads. This place has a lot of potential, I really wanted to like it.
I lived at this property for two lease terms. First term was with a different company-ew. Second term was with Madison-yay. I did not have any problems once Madison took over, its a great company. First, let me say that this complex is very pretty. There is a lot of green space, which is great for pets. Madison does their best to ensure that the grounds are kept very neat and clean and the amenities are on point! There are many perks for residents and I was really proud to invite friends and family to my place to go to the pool, to go on a walk, to use the grills by the pool, or to get owned in some sand volleyball. The units are spacious and updated and the rent is comparable to other complexes in the area. Madison is working hard to improve the complex and it really shows when you go into the office or take a drive through there. The office staff is always friendly and helpful and the maintenance is prompt once you submit a request. Its close to any store or food you could possibly want and its close to 85 access. Im leaving the complex not because of dissatisfaction but to be closer to my new job. Id stay there long term if I could. I highly recommend Madison Druid Hills as your next home.
Ashley was wonderful and extremely patient with my family and I as we were searching for an apartment. She was very prompt in her responses and following up on any requests and concerns I had. The move in process has been great with her efforts and I look forward to my time as a resident here.
Update: Ive been living in the community for about 5 months now and its still going great. The staff and maintenance work collectively well and hand in hand. Theyve gotten much better with the gate since it tends to break due to idiots tailgating. Overall rall, Im extremely happy with the community!
We worked with our leasing agent Ashley who helped get us set in just the right place for us at the best possible service. She’s always been there to answer our multitude of questions. If there are any flaws with Madison it’s in the system but not with the agent we worked with. She truly cares!
If you value anything you have, dont move here. You work hard for your stuff and someone with a key will take it. My storage was broken into but there was no forced entry. Over $120 was taken from my home. Yes it was in a piggy bank, and I didnt think to hide it. But who thinks to hide things in their own house?Chris is awesome, and so is the lady who handles accounts; everyone else, not so much. You cannot make an appointment with maintenance, so you can be there when their in your home. They just come when they feel like it, I guess so they can case your place. Ive been here a little over a year and theyve changed management at least 3 times. I have filed 2 police reports in a 3 month span. Because its a heavily wooded area, Ive had pest control spray weekly. I guess he wanted a little extra and decided to give himself a bonus with my money.I dont have enough words to list all the previous things that have happened, just heed my warning. And if you still decide to move here and pay $1100/month for the things you worked hard for to be stolen, dont say I didnt warn you.
No major complaints. Moved in October ‘16 and have been here ever since. Had a good enough experience to renew my lease for another year.. Great location, 20min from anywhere in city, spacious apartments with a quiet feel, gets you away from that hustle and bustle of Atlanta.Lived here for a year and some change now, have experience with both old management as well as new. Haven’t had any problems and allMaintence requests have been taken care of in a timely manner. Allen used to be my go to guy when it was under Viera management, however he is no longer with the office. I now enjoy working with Sarah, as she is always on top of it! Always takes care of my maintence work orders or corncerns in a timely fashion. If there’s a problem she will reach out via phone, and I do appreciate the communication.Happy with my living space since I’ve moved in about 15 months ago. Roaches are sometimes a problem during summer months (which I think Management should look into this further as it’s a reoccurring problem for everyone living here, but other than that no problems). Thanks from a happy Madison resident!
DISCLAIMER: This review is about my initial introduction. I have not lived here as yet.TL;DR Marcuss genuine interaction allowed me to feel comfortable leasing my first apartment here. After having viewed the property I was excited about the opportunity to live in an area that has fairly good public transportation and access to the city. This complex has a lot of amenities including a dog park and a pretty nice gym as far as apt complex gyms go. HOWEVER, my interactions with the staff members made me feel iffy about signing a 13 month lease. When I dropped in in-person, I was told of 2 deals for the month of July, including a waived fee and something about the security deposit. Though I did get to see an apt, , I did not get to tour the style of apartment that I would be applying for because it was raining that day. Perfectly reasonable, Ill try for another day if one will be available soon. Upon calling back the next day, to see if I could reschedule a tour and request some more info about the fee waiver- to ensure that I comprehended exactly what was getting waived, the woman that I spoke with seemed to not want to answer my questions and just rushed me off of the phone. Because I am a receptionist and helpdesk service tech, Ive become accustomed to being patience and try to treat other frontdesk staff as I would want to be treated; I know that I was not demanding or requesting anything inconveniencing, just some info and clarity. If that was troublesome then what would the interaction be like if I lived here and actually needed a service like plumbing or HVAC. IN COMES Marcus to reassure me. After weighing my options I call back again and this time I am speaking with Marcus ( :D ) Marcus was not only kind and very patient, but he felt as if he genuinely had my best interest at heart. Marcus had not heard of the fee waiving deal that they were offering but he went and found more than enough information and provided me with a complete set of information that I could use to make an educated decision. He didnt make me feel like I was stupid or an inconvenience for asking. He was very personable, and because of him, I will be applying to live here.Thank you so much Marcus.I have not indicated the name of the woman that I initially spoke with because I do not want to put her in a bad light. I could have misinterpreted her tone. Time will tell, and if this person is truly negligent, Ill have to figure out a workaround and will be revisiting this review.
Greetings All! I recently signed my lease at Madison Druid Hills and Im writing this to say how amazed I am with the staff at Madison Druid! I worked primarily with Dontaveous Sargent, and I am very impressed with his level of professionalism and care. I am the type to be very picky and a bit of a micromanager. Im pretty sure Ive called up there every week since this process has started in late March, and each time I was greeted with Dontaveous. Even though I was looking at multiple apartments in the same price range and the same area the amazing flexibility and workmanship of Dontaveous sold me. When I was informed that Dontaveous was transferred to Madison Brookhaven and I was assigned another leasing consultant I was very disappointed. The leasing agent that I was assigned did not have the same quality of professionalism to which I had previously experienced with Dontaveous and frankly if I had been assigned my current leasing consultant from the beginning I doubt I would have signed at this establishment. Luckily I was able to get in contact with Mr. Sargent at Madison Brookhaven and he informed me of the basic things that my new consultant neglected to tell me. It comforted me to know that someone was still looking out for me even if it was at another property. Madison should be glad they have someone like Dontaveous, because that new guy almost had me at a new location. I have greatly enjoyed my stay at Madison Druid Hills. It is a gorgeous property and very friendly people. Im happy Dontaveous convinced me to stay.
There Has been a lot of change in ownership and management over the last several years (i have lived here for over 10!) The new manager, Dawn, is wonderful. She has been readily available whenever I have questions And always responds to emails promptly. The grounds, which are beautifully wooded and lush, have been kept up better since she has taken over. Maintenance issues have been taken care of quickly and thoroughly . The office staff has also been much better. Mike in the office has been a great addition. He is polite and thorough in doing his job. The staff and manager have also gone to great lengths to have community involvement and have hosted many great events (halloween party, smores at the firepit, dog costumes). Recently, they held smores and cocoa at the fire pit, Which was a wonderful way for residents to interact with the staff. The event was fully stocked with goodies, which shows the effort put in. Thank you for continuously helping to improve the property and the living experience here!
The manager is a fat white woman and very rude to client if you plan to move out. They refuse rudely to explain the lease and the manager even rash out of her office and threaten to call the police if you ask them to explain more details of the lease. We are shocked by their response.Another thing I remembered clearly is that if you happen to have b*g bites or suddenly have no water supply or leaking of faucet, the response from the manager is always let you down. You have to wait and negotiate with them. And if they ask somebody to fix it, it does not mean it can be fixed completely. But my opinion is that you have to try your best to tell them your concerns and solutions again and again. That may help. When you move in, you sure will see smile on their face, but when you have problems or plan to move out, smile? The dogs here are very nice. And I will recommend it if you can stand the smell of urine of dog on the floor out of your apartment. Well, everything else is not too bad here.
My boyfriend and I love our apartment and the complex. Had some issues during my move in process and informed the apartments about my situation, they were so helpful and patient especially Zari. I explained to her about what was going on and she worked with me until it was time to move in. I am forever thankful for her patience and positive attitude with helping me.
Madison Druid Hills is a great place to call home. Also, Veronica is extremely helpful. I needed a place to move in to ASAP and she helped make the process very swift. The studio feels like a one bedroom , its extremely spacious, and very quiet! They have an awesome move-in perk called color me Madison where you can chose from a variety of colors for a personalized accent wall in your apartment.
I was definitely looking forward to moving in. I loved everything about the complex, especially the gym. So I was happy when I was told my application was approved. However, the next day, they called and told me that they would not accept financial aid as a valid source of income (funny since theyre only fifteen minutes away from Emory) and therefore my application was denied. While completing the application, I didnt see anything that said financial aid was not valid.College students and anyone serious about finding an apartment, Id look at other ones in this area that are similarly priced. Not only do they not take financial aid, but they are HIGHLY unprofessional to tell you that you were approved one day then denied the next. I cant imagine what problems I would have had with management if I had moved into this place.
RecommendedReviewed 12/19/2019I love this community because the office staff is helpful and on point. While having a bathroom tub refinished my Dog baby was ill. Micheal was great at keeping me company and making Mr. P and I feel welcome while I worked in the office space. These guys are on top of everything.
These are the best apartments ever!!! I needed so much help today with the computers and printing and organizing and Michael was such a huge help! I truly adored his positive attitude and patience with me!! I’m not as tech savvy and having him today was truly awesome! Especially with it being 10 min til closing, I appreciate how eager he was to assist me!
Zari has been so helpful since day one. She’s so nice. She made the moving in process easy and welcomed us. She Answered all of our questions. Also Frances ( maintenance ) is the best!! He fixed our issue within in a timely manner! He too, is nice. He always speaks and asks if everything is working.
I had to take a moment to say how absolutely phenomenal the newest staff is at our property. The staff at Madison Druid Hills is absolutely phenomenal. They are super friendly and I will always be appreciative. They Handled my personal situation very thoughtfully. Ata moment where I lost my income as well as my mother they have allowed me for the opportunity to recover. I will forever be grateful and I recommend our community 100%.
**Do NOT move in here**Madison purchased this complex from Vierra Briarcliff shortly after I moved in here. Since I was hopeful that they would manage the place better, I wanted to feel things out before writing this review. Nonetheless I am grossly let down.I’ve lived in many different apartment communities and have worked as a leasing agent in apartment complex of sometime. I do not consider myself to be someone who demands a high standard of living. As someone who tolerates nuisances and inconveniences pretty well, I can confidently say that this is the WORST experience I’ve had living in an apartment community.Madison seems to have not only inherited the same faults as Vierra, but added on the chaos of changing management, the nuisance of starting major renovations, and signing for but losing multiple packages. Roach infestation, neglected facilities, and disorganized staff aside (read and believe the other reviews), I have suffered from constantly feeling unsafe in my home and having to endure a lack of sleep because of reckless neighbors. Several occasions I have had to call police to address physical altercations amongst my neighbors in the middle of the night. This problem has persisted since the week I moved in, and the management continues to give me the same canned response (written warning) followed by inaction. Furthermore, I’m stuck with this apartment complex unless I am willing to shovel up an extra months rent and wait 60days before moving out.I regret writing a bad review since the staff are personable and friendly face-to-face, but I feel I’m not truly taken seriously and that there is absolutely no accountability. As a result of this, my quality of life has greatly suffered.I used to rationalize that “you get what you pay for” but now rent is going up and quality is going down. Don’t get ripped off...
So, I have never posted a negative review about an apartment and I used to live in Memphis... Viera Briarcliff is genuinely the worst apartment I have ever lived in. This is why:Absolutely no cell phone service anywhere on the property. I was told it was just a one time issue and that it would be fixed. That was 8 months ago.3 months after I moved in, the tires off of my brand new jeep were stolen over night and the car was left on cinder blocks. The police specifically stated that it had to be someone living in the property and then it happened all of the time. They explained that the property left the gates open at night and anyone is literally free to come and go. Clearly, this place isnt safe. Then, 2 months later, my apartment caught on fire, because the maintenance never cleaned the dryer vents. My apartment still has not been fixed because the property insists that it is filed on my insurance even though it was not my fault. The price is ridiculous for what you get. By renovated, they mean, a brand new coat of paint and horrible, used carpeting. The floors are fake hardwood that constantly swell because something is always leaking. I pay $1250 for a bed room 2 bath when I should be paying no more than $800 for how bad the property is.Oh... and if you hate bugs, just know, you have to pay a fee for the property to spray, but guess what? THEY NEVER DO!!!!Needless to say, never move in here. I will continue to post this as it gets deleted. Please pass this along and make sure your friends and family know!PLEASE STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!
My partner and I stopped in on a Saturday and toured the property with Veronica. We’re interested in a 1BD/1BA, their Beech unit but they didn’t have any to show on a weekend so we saw one of their 2BD/2BA units. The model looked great however the gym could use a facelift, it looked ran down. The property looks great driving up, the gates worked and they’re in a great area which is where they earned 2 stars.I was told by Veronica to stop back in that following Monday around 3pm so that I could get a feel for the unit we actually wanted. I called that Monday to confirm it was available to see before I came and spoke to the property manager and she said she’d have Veronica reach back out to me...that was two weeks ago. Last week, I even inquired online and still got no response; just an automated message that someone would get back to me. I called again yesterday and no one answered so I left a voicemail...still no follow-up as of today. There’s no reason that as a prospective resident, I shouldn’t be given the red carpet treatment like at least pretend to care and want to get us to sign before you start fumbling the ball, maybe? Thankfully, we’ve seen the jig before signing. We’ve dealt with management issues where we currently live and do not plan to do it again. With that being said, we will be moving on in our search.
This complex has come a long way with the recent changes. Teneka and new staff have changed things for the better. Maintenance team has also improved drastically. They all are very personable and on top of things. The location is great. Near downtown/buckhead/Decatur. Great walk score for nearby shopping , eateries and accessible to major highwaysDog friendlyIt’d be great if the dog amenities stayed replenished. There’s a lot of dog owners in the complex that don’t pick up after their pets. Although it’s not the complex sole responsibility, the poop bags in designated areas are not always available and the trash can normally overflows.
You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.Landscaping is always nice, but maintenance staff is not given needed equipment. No air conditioning in the summer for two weeks. Waiting on parts. Why not a new unit?Roaches constantly from other apartments. The wood on the balcony floor is rotted. A county code red flag.Every two to five weeks a new property manager and office staff..More and more broken pool chairs. Two years of this. NO More. BEWARE.
I came in and toured the property, for a 3bdroom. i loved the property and the set up of the model we did get to see, but unfortunately they didn’t have any available units to fit my moving time frame and pricing however beautiful and well kept complex!! It’s a hidden Gem not to far from the city’s main attractions, and my tour person Michael was awesome and cute!! Def will recommend to others!
It has taken me a while to review this property although Im a long term resident since previous mgmt and its been some high and low times. In the last few months I have nothing but great things to say about the staff in the office, maintenance responses are unbelievable now from a month wait time to 2 days and the property appearance. Oh and the gates have been closed for 2 months straight. Things have reallyyyyyyyyyy changed around here for the better and I am impressed. Keep it up, the improvements are the talk of the community. PR
I will make it my mission to go on every platform and give this place a thorough review so that people will not be bamboozled by the appearance of this community but are unaware by the unprofessionalism and lack of customer service at this apartment complex.Earlier this month I came in and toured. I was SOLD. Chris was able to find me an Azeala with a washer and dryer for a rate of 955/month. This was a great deal because if you are familiar with Madison only the Beech floor plans has a washer and dryer which he quoted me for 994/month. That day I went home, applied and was approved for Unit 924.I was dealing with Xavier throughout the process; he handeld my paper work but was a little slow in replying to my emails---nonetheless I was not moving until May 22 so I was not too pressed as of yet.Two weeks after signing I received an call from the leasing agent that toured the complex with me saying he thought I was applying. I informed him that I did and that I was approved for Unit 924. He asked me to give him my name and when I looked it up in the system I was assigned to Unit 1024. I am furious--I specifically only wanted to move to this apartment because I was reassured that 924 had a washer and dryer for the cheaper rate than the Beech. He went to inspect Unit 1024 and it only had a washer.A non-negotioable for me moving was to have a washer and dryer. Once I spoke to the assistant community manager Paige, she informed me she knew about me situation from LAST WEEK and that the tenant from unit 924 informed the office she no longer wanted to move, so the moved me to an apartment that was comparable. However, NO ONE from the office called me and communicated this to me.At this time, the market value for me back up had skyrocketed included the Beech. I said that I would stay if they honored my quote for the Beech which was 994/month. Paige informed me that she couldnt do that because I didnt retain the hard copy of the quote. I no longer kept it because I WAS APPROVED AND SIGNED for Unit 924.After going back and forth, I requested my application be cancelled and my application fee be refunded. It has been a week and I have not received my application funds. When I called Dontavious informed me (with an attitude) that it takes 30 days for a refund. I request a receipt or some hard document that they money was being refunded to me; especially as word of mouth has done me no good.So now, I am here without an apartment, no evidence that the $80 has or will ever be refunded to me.When I asked for Corporates number, they informed me that they would have to call Corporate ON MY BEHALF. Luckily, I found the number myself and am working to resolve the issues and hopefully for them to receive professional development counseling. Please, I heed you. If you want to work under a efficient management that is organized and customer centered; DO NOT MOVE HERE.
Updated review. Initially, I gave this place 2 stars for the good location and quiet atmosphere. But friends, dont waste your time. Roaches. Really bad roaches (and Im not talking the smokable kind.) No cell phone reception. Terrible management. Recently our water system got shut off because a pipe burst or something. They fixed it within a few days, but lately Ive noticed that the water has been making me sick... Dont live here. Youre better off living in Mexico. You can get the same experience for a fraction of the cost and half the stress.
Madison Druid Hills is a great property in close proximity to Buckhead, Midtown, and all the major hubs. Beautiful property in an area where youre not far from food and shopping options. In inquiring about this community, the staff was extremely helpful! Zari particularly was a God send. She answered my many questions quickly and with ease. She made what could typically be a stressful process, very simple. The staff and upkeep of this community make it a hidden gem of Atlanta.
I went in looking for an apartment last month and never ended up leasing with this complex. So many warning signs ON THE FIRST VISIT!! #I i visited the neighborhood on a Sunday first but I didn’t know the office was closed. The gates were open on this day. I returned the next day for an official tour and when I asked if the gates worked, they lied saying it’s only open while the leasing office is open. (I’ve driven past plenty of times now and that gate is never closed) #2 when I came for my tour a resident angrily walked in and demanded to see a manage bc of something that hasn’t been fixed in his apartment for a long time, I tried to stay and listen (why not see what I’m getting myself into) but the leasing consultant insisted on continuing the tour. When I came back I asked about the angry resident and one of the male leasing agents proceeded to say the resident was being “extra” and “doing the most” #3 they allowed someone to do a tour on THEIR FIRST DAY OF WORK. She wasn’t educated about the units and couldn’t answer questions. What in the unprofessional is this?!! #4 I called afterwards to ask about applications and whoever was on the phone was rude as hell. After talking for literally 2 min, which she was annoyed the whole time, she says to me “so are you going to apply or not”. Like who in their right mind brought in this property management company?!! I’ve never lived here and I still wouldn’t recommend anybody lived here. There are way better apartments within 5 min of this one. I moved down the same street to a better neighborhood and I’m soooo glad I chose to look elsewhere. Gates actually work, great customer service, quiet and clean.
My name is Brittany are used to live here about a year and a half ago in my apartment was broken into because the gate was broken for six months it was December 29 I came home from work there was glass in my living room from a broken window I called the cops come to find out they have stolen my Apple laptop with all my personal information and photos I felt so violated. I went to the Office and talk to them I said I feel unsafe I need to move and they didn’t care and were charging me to break the lease when it was their fault I think it was an inside job this whole place is very crooked and shady I hope it is under new management. Not a safe place to live
They have TERRIBLE customer service! I walked in no one greeted me, waited about 5 minutes and a guy said how can I help you I said I’m interested in a 2 bedroom apartment, he said you need an appointment (this was on a Friday ) to see our apartments. Nothing said that on their signs or when I called a few days prior to check on Availability. I said I’m from out of town and need to make a decision by today is it possible you could show me anything. He said no we have no open appointments today you’re out of luck !!! Extremely rude and don’t care at all !!!
Comfortable and well structured units. Ample parking space. Fairly On time maintenance response. Warm staff and resident relationship. Gym and sports centers nicely done. The recently painted complex is very Contemporary. Well maintained in terms of keeping clean. Management, very communicative. Descent neighbourhood. Relatively safe and secure. Maintenance response could be improved though, in my opinion . Otherwise, great living complex.
My lease will be up at the end of this month . I haven’t had any major concerns being that I stay in a 580 sq feet apartment and pay $1,080 per month . The location is AMAZING and I am actually moving down the street.Pros:Location (my Ubers to downtown/midtown on Friday / Saturdays are literally $7)Relatively quietSafeGymSummer pool life is funAmple parkingCons :The renovations are a bit dated ( but hey I knew that when I moved in lol ) .The washer/dryer in my unit is the all in one and placed in my closet which I despise - I’m not quite sure what the washer/dryer are in the other units .Gate inconsistency ( I’m not sure if someone is breaking the arms or if they are truly breaking but it has become a frequent issue )My neighbors smoke weed and play loud music which doesn’t bother me but I prefer not to smell the weed lol (I’m just saying).NO CELL PHONE RECEPTION ON THIS PART OF N. DRUID ! It is literally a dead zone for Sprint lol I called them to complain and everything . My friends with T-Mobile and Metro PCs have no service either.Bug problems . I am a moderately clean person and I make sure I do not keep food anywhere but in the refrigerator in my house but I have seen roaches many times . I did call for pest control and they came immediately and I didn’t see them for a while .Grills but —NO GAS !***As much as I hate moving I am finally moving out and I can say I am excited . My boyfriend and I are moving in together into a much nicer complex down the street and I am happy . I will say my apartment was comfortable for a single , black , 23 year old professional . :-)
The complex isnt the worst, but they do nickel and dime you every month. There is a $5 miscellaneous income and $6.01 bill processing fee every month on your bill, as well as $25 for valet trash that does not pick up every day - let alone the days they are actually supposed to pick up trash (sun-thrs and you take out your own trash fri/sat). You have no choice in these fees. The maintenance is extremely slow - like months until someone comes to your door to do a repair slow. The office staff is inconsistent with the policies, and several of the young men that work in the office have poor customer service skills. The water bill is also high - this is probably due to the poor plumbing throughout the complex, which doesnt seem like it will ever be fixed since 4 maintenance requests havent fixed the problems yet. When you consider how much they charge for rent, how old the complex is, and the fact that you can find better for cheaper or the same - weigh out your options first. Its really not a bad complex, but the Madison Druid Hills surely is far from a 5 star review.
If I could give a zero I would. Roach INFESTED!!!!!! Maintenance is HORRIBLE!!! They dont fix anything. The management sucks and they lie all the time. No one works there that was there when I moved in. I hate it here. When my lease is up I will be moving. Please dont move here. Im trying to save someone. The rent always goes up. Every month there a new random charge. Its absolutely crazy! The only good thing is the location. Please just find somewhere else close. Its not worth it!!!!!!! DONT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!
I have lived in this community for about a year and four months. I have seen the office staff change. Change in a good way, the office staff use to be super rude ! Xavier always is friendly with me when ever I need a package or needs a work order put in. Maintenance can be slow The light skin guy with the glasses I believe he’s a supervisor, he’s awful, he’s mean and has attuite problem. Sarah isn’t the friendliest at times. The complex has its good perks, my rate wasn’t that expensive to renew, which made me happy. I see a lot of people complaining about bugs!! PEOPLE WE LIVE IN GEORGIA!! THERE ARE TREES EVERYWHERE !! What’s do you expect! Also the cell phone service does suck !! I plan on being here for another year until I buy my house then I will be out !
From the time I have moved into this apartment complex , it has been a huge headache. I have lived here going on two year in the summer and although I planned to stay an extra year until graduation in 2015 it is not worth it and i will be looking for another place to live. For starters you may be wondering why i stayed if i did not like it. Well every time i had the inkling to move , the property managers changed hands. I have a long list of cons but i will only discuss the ones under current management to be fair. The management and office staff has changed a record 6 times since ive been here ( probably more). With every change comes the promise to do better , a corny party to meet the new manager and their best behavior for 2 weeks. What follows each time is horrible customer service , disrespectful employees and maintenance techs who either never come , or when they do say they have to order a piece to remedy your issue ( youve guessed it they hardly ever come back with piece unless you hound the office.) Granted the maintenance techs over all are respectful and seem to try their best to help. My main issue is with the disrespectful office staff , who ignore calls , are condescending to your face and highly unprofessional.I dont know where the owners look to hire their staff but they have to do better. Despite the fancy renovations the units are old , so become accustomed to things breaking down in the apartment and nothing being done despite the hefty and sure to increased price you pay for rent ( which did i mention hikes each yr to cover all the great changes to the facility.) prepare for sewage breakdowns , heating and cooling system break downs , even structure issues with screen doors because the frame of the building is very old Also do not plan on personal promises being kept toward you , after they screw up which there is a 90% chance they will, some of the reps will promise you different accommodations to make up for it , and usually by the time you need them to perform on their word theyre gone and there is a new staff marching around the office. Ultimately , i feel the property is way over priced especially for the customer service. They have done their best to make the place appealing at first glance but before you decide to move here please do your research and decide whether it is worth it. I am well aware things happen and everything will not be perfect no mater where you live, but i have a problem with the disrespect. i refuse to pay my money and receive disrespect. lets also not forget you have absolutely no service for your cell phone, so factor in the expense of paying for a phone you cannot use and paying for a VOIP phone connection ( you cant get a home phone that goes into the wall because their wiring is bad because the units are old , so if there is a storm or no service you are SOL). . they placed a gate in the front but at least 10 cars zoom in when it opens which has not changed the fact that packages left at front doors are constantly stolen and there are break-ins. some of the public facilities are very dark at night as well such as the walk way entrance to the gym ( there is no light at all and it is not safe to walk there at night ). Again balance whether the cons are worth it and make a well informed decision.
Sarah the property manager is amazing. Any issue may have she handles within her team very promptly and very professionally. Theres has not be an issue I have brought to her and she has not handled to my expectations. Very professionally run property and would recommend to anyone.
The reviews are certainly true. I would warn any new residents to evaluate the reviews critically before signing a lease with Madison Druid Hills. The staff in under trained and lack professionalism. On several occasions, I have visited the front office to be ignored for quite a time period only to be told that they did not know how to address my issue. On two occasions, they messed up my move out process resulting in me paying additional costs to the property. They utilize condescending tones when speaking with tenants and it appears from reviews on google and apartment finder websites that these arent isolated events but commonplace. Im only giving one star because it is mandatory.
Updated****I was told in order to get my $280 money order refund back. I would have to give them a $120 money order. Please think before you apply.****I came here as a prospective resident and Im glad the situation did not end up working out. I came to sign for a lease and it was very difficult initially just to get them to process my application. I called many times and the only way I could get anything done, was to show up in person. Even when I showed up in person, sometimes they couldnt get to me. This is a huge red flag as to if you have issues with them as an actual resident because they dont respond promptly. Finally when I submitted my application, I had to call multiple times to ask about the status. I didnt hear from them for weeks. Then when I had issues with my application, each person working in the leasing office had a different story to handle the problems with my application.
Madison royally screwed me and my cousin over. On our first tour we were lied to by a leasing consultant, Allen, who said we could put up a railing on the terrace level patio to prevent our dog from getting away. On our second tour the Assisstent Community Director, Brian Thomas, said we could, in fact, not do that. We let that go because it wasnt a deal breaker. However, when we asked him about the pet policy in regards to my snake, he told us yes he is allowed and that he wouldnt even charge me a fee or pet rent for my kingsnake. So, my cousin and I signed the lease specifically because I could bring my snake. However, a week before we were supposed to move in another leasing director, Lisa Erol, told us we cant have any reptiles. We have been lied to multiple times, and every time we try to contact someone, they are not available. Even when they take your info to give to the person you want to talk to, you never get a call or email back. Id give this place negative stars if I could. Seriously, dont consider anything Madison owns. My cousin and I shrugged off the google reviews, but they were right. Dont do it.
I been living in this apartment for a year now, the new management (manager) her name is Sarah. I never met such an so-called manager like her, she’s very rude, unprofessional, very aggressive, no type (VERY POOR) customer service. I went to talk to her about a payment issue that was their fault need I say, and she tells me “There nothing i need to talk to you about and she was going to call the police on me.” After I’ve done took days off of my job, gave them my account information again, sent checks like they asked all to handle the situation of a late fee that out of a whole year I have never been late one time. With this new management everything started going wrong. It’s really really sad the way she treated me, they need to do so something about her , I’m calling the head office too because she’s not fit for the position at all!!!
I currently reside in the complex and am weighing my options about moving elsewhere or just transferring to a new unit once my lease is up. I went into the office for a tour of their other options and Mike B was very helpful. He was personable, honest, and professional. He gave me all the information I needed and answered all my questions thoroughly. Thanks mike!
DO NOT LIVE HERE! My roommate and I were in a rush when looking for new housing and unfortunately ended up signing a lease here. First of all, the 2br/2ba Dogwood unit that they show everyone has a sunroom but when we moved in there was no sunroom. They told us it was variation within the units and instead our patio was bigger. WE DIDNT SIGN A LEASE FOR A BIGGER PATIO! We signed a lease for a unit with a sunroom and the leasing agent did nothing but told us that all the square footage was there and gave us no option to switch units. We had to contact management over and over again for two weeks until they were able to offer us anything different but by that time we had already moved all of our things in and paid for our utilities to be transferred. They couldnt even offer to reduce our rent because of their screw up. Secondly, the updated units look really nice...then you move in and realize they were very cheaply done and the old cabinets were just painted black and some dont even close. Make sure you take a good look at all the fixtures, the bathrooms, etc.. because you will realize they are of very poor quality. Later on after we moved in, my roommate realized she had no service in the entire apartment. When we called the leasing office they acted like they had no idea what we were talking about but when we called the regional office they told us they knew exactly what we were talking about but didnt believe that was something they needed to disclose before we signed our lease so unless you have verizon, you will not be able to make any phone calls in your unit. Other than the horrible experience we had with moving in, the garbage disposal area is disgusting (im sure there are pictures of the overflowing online) and people leave their dog poop bags on the side of the mailbox center in the corner and who knows when the facilities ppl come and clean it up. Everyday I walk in my room peeking in all the corners to make sure there are no roaches or water bugs as people in the south refer to them as. The apartment complex is just horrible and if I had known, I wouldve stayed and renewed my lease at Calibre Woods which is right down the street on LaVista. So check that place out if you are looking for housing the area.
I gave 4 stars simply because Marcus was AMAZING & GREAT he was so helpful and people friendly he answered all questions we had, My partner and I did a walk through of the 2B/2B and we loved it! The property is amazing and kept up. If We anyone is looking to rent I highly suggest you ask for Marcus.
I’m only writing to comment on my experience viewing—I ended up not renting here solely because of distance to work, but could not say higher things about Ashley. Even though it was her first week when I was looking, she was well-versed in the pros and cons, flexibility in times of leasing, units and any other questions I had. She’s the main reason I would have rented, if I had. Thank you Ashley!
They blatantly lied to us on 2 separate occasions. When we first toured, Allen (who has since been fired), told us we could add a gate to our patio to keep the dog in/sketchy people out. On our second tour, Brain told us we couldnt do that which was no big deal. Then we asked him if our snake would be allowed. He told us yes and that we wouldnt need to pay a fee or pet rent considering its a foot long, lives in a terrarium, and cant do any damage. We signed specifically because our snake was allowed. After signing and putting down our deposit, they told us our snake wasnt allowed. After sitting in the office for 3 hours, we are getting our deposit refunded sometime this week Theyll say anything to get you to sign. Get everything in writing, signed, and on their letterhead. Horrible customer service.
Pros: great location, decent gym and pool, car washCons: If these apts are renovated I would not like to see un-renovated. We were not allowed to see the unit we received, just a model, and they were quite different, in a bad way. Insist on seeing the actual apartment you might rent. The water/sewage bills are scandalously huge - gouging tenants for sure with un-itemized bills. Water bills for houses I have owned were about a quarter of what they charged us. There was multiple leaks from above (we were on the ground floor) and while they came and looked, and painted over water stains, the management seemed unconcerned with the potential huge damage chronic leaks can cause to structure and from mold. Everyone has barking dogs - everyone.Summary - if you need a place quick in that section of town, maybe, temporarily. I cant imagine people would frequently renew leases there. You should take time to look elsewhere.
I’ve lived here for a year very quiet fast maintenance only problem was the trash valet was very petty glad to be moving out they let one of my trash bags sit out side for two weeks never put a note on my door or notice or emails saying I was being charged $100 for leaving the trash out there plus they took my trash bin so I haven’t had one there for I continue to have to sit it on the concrete has a lot of “water bugs” they are roaches idc what you call them pest control only came about twice since I lived here 13 months btw it was overall an okay first apartment.
My boyfriend and I chose this place as our first apartment together and we both regret it. I could list several reasons, but I will just stick to the primary 2 reasons: #1. our water bill is insanely high! I have lived in at least 3 other apartment complexes in the exact same part of town, all in Dekalb county, and NONE have charged more than $25./month for water. Our monthly water bill at Viera Briarcliff is never less than $90. It is outrageous, and the excuse they give us is pure BS. #2. Since AT&T uverse is not offered in this community, and Comcast stood us up 3 appointments in a row, we decided to go with DirecTV. Viera Briarcliff gave us written permission to have a dish installed right outside our unit, and 2 months later we came home one day to find it completely gone with a gaping hole in the ground. When I went to the office to notify them, they told me THEY removed it! They said we didnt know who it belonged to. Even then I asked..so its in a storage/maintenance closet or something? Nope!----Sure enough, the dish was sitting in a pile of trash behind the apartment complex dumpster. Since it was 10 minutes before closing time, NO ONE cared to stick around to resolve the matter-- they all left to go home while I ran to the dumpster. After writing a lengthy email about this incident to Kecia, NO ONE responded. My boyfriend went to the office, in person, with a copy of the written permission since no one would respond.
New Management no big change from old management. BIG DISCOVERY 😷🤒🤕 everytime I come home of the road from working looking forward to sleep in my bed at my apt, but I would always get sick with respiratory infections, coughing, runny nose, watery eye and headaches. I visited the dr many time antibiotics. Breaking news for a year and half I was exposed to black mold, through my AC vent and bathroom ceilin. When Im not home they wold come and spray bleach on the ceilin, old management did that. I have been extremely sick for the last few months, lay on the couch fatigue, headaches, dehydration, dizziness, shortness of breath and the list gose on. SMH new management saw the problem 😨 after I call the code enforcement now they are trying rush in the apt to fix the problem.😮 nothing will be fix till the code enforcement get here 🤔. 8-10-17 🏡📝👷the code enforcement came took pic and write up a few tickets now Im waiting on CBS news to come tru 🎬🎥. Updated 8/12/17...patch work done to the apt, still smell like mold. They didnt replace the bathroom walls so mold still in my bathroom walls, when I bring up the word mold, the new ppl say what mold 🤔 so I see this is going to be a long battle I ask to be move to a new unit NO 🙅. My Dr say they cant treat me till I get out this environment it will do no good. Now it time for hardball. 😷🤒🤕😢. Sick as a dog. RUN AWAY. .🏃or get 🔥.I have a few new roommate showing up from time to time Cockroach.
This property has terrible customer service. First thing, when I arrived the people working couldn’t even get into the office because they didn’t bring the keys to open the doors. Which I’m very confused about since they were supposed to have been open since 9am and I arrived at 2pm. Second, the man that worked there told me and another potential renter that “they only do scheduled tours on Saturday’s anyway so it wasn’t like we were going to be able to do anything today”. I told the man that I was from out of town, hours away, and I would not be able to just come and go when I please. He proceeded to say “well you would have to make an appointment anyway”. He asked for my contact information but I said that’s okay and walked away. (Mind you, they still are not able to get in the office at this point. Him and a woman that was working as well drove off in the man’s car). Third, I called their corporate office to see if it was true that they had to have scheduled tours. The man I spoke with at corporate said “it is best to schedule an appointment but if you are in the area you can come by and someone can help you”. So the man at the actual property lied!!! I also told the man at corporate that I told them I’m from out of town so it’s hard for me to just come whenever. He then said “he should have helped you”.So overall the customer service at the actually property is horrible!! They need to get new workers because they are straying away potential renters and losing money for the business. I told them I don’t need any more information because if customer service is bad when I’m a potential renter I can only imagine what it’s like actually living there! I would give no starts if I could.
EDIT: I moved out when my lease ended in December 2016 and forgot to edit this review. Not only did our place get broken into, we also had a peeping tom who came to my roommates window TWICE (in one month) in the middle of the night. Police were called both times but management never notified residents about this. Shortly after the incident, we moved to a second floor apartment in the complex. Needless to say, this was by far the worst experience of our lives. Luckily, we all moved and I found a great neighborhood outside of Atlanta. Good luck to future residents! Most of the reviews are correct. Management is impossible to get a hold of, appliances didnt work when I first moved in, maintenance is awful and come without notifying you, etc. Oh, and our place was broken into within the first month of moving in. However, there was no forced entry, which the officer investigating told us he suspected the maintenance staff because they are the only ones who have keys to all of the doors. They are still investigating, but Im pretty sure it was someone from the complex. Dont bother emailing or calling their corporate office either. Ive tried everything to get a hold of management and still havent heard back for two months. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!
Not your typical Animal House college kids. This complex is very large. It is very close to all of the major highways. It is in a safe upper middle class neighborhood. You are in walking distance of various shopping and eating venues. The complex is very diverse in age groups and ethnicities. However, tbere are a large number of Emory Medical and Law students. These youngsters are intelligent, focused and here for a purpose. They are not here to destroy their careers over a keg party. Like all apartment complexes, there are a few unsavory characters but they are the small minority here.
Very poor communication and customer service. I asked for a video walk through and someone sent me a text with the fastest walk through of the unit. When I asked more questions to clarify the space etc, she chose not to respond any further. Needless to say, we will not be pursuing living here any further.
Do not live here. I will keep this simple and short. They will change your lease, they will upcharge you, they will take months on urgent maintenance requests, they do not have friendly staff, and they care more about the appearance of the complex instead of worrying about the real issues the residents want fixed.
Probably the best apartments Ive stayed since being in Atlanta - which isnt really saying much since apartment management service is sub-par in Atlanta. Pros are location , 24hr gym, the grounds are well kept and the area is quite safe. Maintenance guys are good, just try and make friends with them. Management is decent, but like I said, this is Atlanta they wont do anything beyond the bare minimum in terms of services. Almost got shafted by paying $3k for trying to break the lease early for closing on a home. I was supposed to inform them 2 months in advance. If you ever bought a home, you know its impossible to put that sort of timeline - most youll know is a few weeks prior to closing. Ended up subleasing to avoid the fee. Regardless, Id say if youre working at CDC or Emory, your best choices are between this complex and 3131. If you can afford a little extra then Calibre woods and Post at Briarcliff are the way to go. Last piece of advice: always ask for Employer discounts when shopping for apartments in the area surrounding CDC/EMORY.
HORRIBLE!!!I went on March 11, 2017 to get a tour of the apartments. I had it scheduled and everything. From the moment i walked in and sat with Myron his customer service was BAD! He had a bad tone of voice and did not make me feel comfortable to even ask a question but i kept asking because Im a first time buyer its normal to ask. so i continued to ask him questions and requested for a tour. Mind you i wasnt planning to move in until Aug and all he kept telling us is it doesnt matter now then. So he gives us a tour barely talking was not friendly at all!!!! we get to the apartment instead of him walking us around and telling us stuff he just stood by the tour and we had to walk around and ask for questions. He didnt give us information unless we asked. didnt tell us nothing if it wasnt for us asking. We asked him nicely if it was a problem for us to ask questions because every response was a dry rude remark. Instead of him apologizing and trying because again we could have been future residence he said well we can leave if you like. we were so in shock and fed up we asked to leave. we left and went back to get our IDs and their was one lady I didnt get her name was in the office also helping another family. the man gave us our IDs and when we got them we said thank you but this was an awful experience and he replies well Im sorry you feel that way i hope you dont come back! from right their we asked for the managers number he kept saying rude comments back and the girl who works with him instead of stopping and handling the situation she says ok you guys need to leave i have people here Im sorry call the manager. She really didnt care to help or see the situation. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NO ONE! yes its pretty but the staff are VERY RUDE! and from looking at reviews it seems we arent the first to deal with this kind of matter.
So much of a run around, we’ve been trying to get an apartment for 3 weeks now ... (that was my first post) I’ve gotten into an apartment day after posting it.. Danny in the office is really nice, understanding and easy to talk to.. she also made our move happen the day we needed it to.. our apartment has some minor issues.. but very nice apartment we love the location.. lots of space and wash/ dryer ! ❤️
There are some nice things going on at Viera Briarcliff and they will make sure to tell you all about them when you come on a tour here. Since they are going to give you all the pros, I just wanted to take a second and give you some of the cons in order to give you a balanced outlook on the property. With the installation of the new gate they got a new dumpster and moved it to a spot in the center of the complex. Make sure you dont live by it. The new dumpster is smaller than its predecessor and therefore it fills up way to fast and over flows into the street...literally. So not only is it an eye sore and unsanitary, it also smells.Viera Briarcliff recycles...good for them...Im all about that. But the recycling bins also fill up to quickly and overflow into the parking lot area. Also the recycling bins are just kind of randomly sitting around in the parking lot next to the dumpster. Requests have been made for them to house the bins in order to make the area look cleaner and more organized but nothing has happened to date.Viera Briarcliff is remodeling a bunch of their apartments...yay thats great! But the parking lot, next to that wonderful new dumpster, is their construction base. It is filled with additional dumpsters and large equipment containers strewn all over the parking lot. Unfortunately these will be here for the long haul as they apartments are updated only when residents move out...so it will be a long and slow process for the whole complex to be updated...meaning residents will have to essentially live in a permanent construction zone.So if you dont live in a building next to the dumpsters and construction zone (buildings in the high teens and low twenties) you should be fine...but if you do then plug your ears, plug your nose, and cover your eyes. Also AT&T is bad here...barely any service if any at all. This is a serious problem...if you use AT&T and cant switch carries...dont live here. Also AT&T internet is very spotty here. The AT&T people told me the wires in the buildings are old...but Im not defending AT&T because we all know they have their fair share of issues as well. The new gym looks really nice but the machine arent very good quality. Also whoever took to 40 lbs free weights please bring them back! When the new company took over in 2013 they tried to fancy things up to bring in the Buckhead crowd. But they cut corners only putting up a facade of an elegant community... and that is what you see at first glance. Once you move here youll see that you are not getting what you were promised. Also the original company would barely raise rent, never more than 5% a year, this new company will lock you in on a low price, get you all settled, and then bump it way up after your first year. So see if you can negotiate that before you sign your lease. This place might be cheaper than where you are looking now, but by year two it will be just as much or more than the places down the street. Also if you have a problem, dont expect emails or calls returned, you need to go sit in the front office until some one sees you and then hold their hand until they fix your issue. They will try to avoid you until you give them no choice.Ive lived here for four years and the first three were great. Im writing this not because I wish them ill will, but so that you dont get excited about moving into your new home and it not being what you expected. If you have any questions find me on Twitter and send me a direct message.
This is it. I really gave this place a chance but I am done. No cell phone reception at all, pest problem, and EVERY Friday night there is very loud drumming and music coming from somewhere in the apartment complex (its going on as I type). Management/staff has been contacted but they refuse to do anything. Also, beware hidden fees, loud children, and many dogs....Oh, and the gym LOOKS nice but several of the equipment dont work! I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I have lived in this complex for about a year and a half---my first year here was great. It was a huge step up from the previous complex I lived in. I still like it here, and there have been some great improvements to the property. However, I am SO frustrated with maintenance. It used to be that requests for maintenance were addressed on the same day that you put in an order. For me, that kind of response time put this complex above and beyond others. However, in the last 4-6 months, NOTHING has been done. I have put in the same request 3-4 times with NO response. New counter tops were installed in my apt (which is nice, cant complain about that part)--TWO of my kitchen outlets no longer functioned after the installation. So they created that maintenance problem and now they wont fix it.
A little over a year ago a friend recommended Viera Briarcliff since I was new to town. I can’t thank her enough for pointing me in the right direction! I have been so pleased I decided to write a review. My apartment is beautiful, spacious, and reasonably priced. I love the gym, workout room, tennis courts, beautiful pool and peaceful, wooded grounds. When it was time for me to sign a new lease I contacted nearby apartment complexes just to compare prices and discovered that their prices were higher with less space. I enjoy living at Viera Briarcliff because I feel safe and the staff members are professional, courteous and accommodating. I feel comfortable going to them with concerns and always feel happy with the solutions they provide. When I am at the rental office I can never resist stepping into the gorgeous resident room to relax and help myself to a cup of gourmet coffee. Viera Briarcliff is conveniently located next to everything I could ever want or need. Even though ideally I would love to own a home again, I just don’t feel motivated to look since I live in a place in which everything is taken care of for me!
This is by far the worst property group Ive ever dealt with. Do not live here if you want a peaceful environment or positive customer service experience. JMG Realty staff, both on-site and the corporate office, from the top down, is rude and/or incompetent. So incompetent that they cant even hire and retain a property manager on-site. Theyve been through two in the past 9 months that Im aware of - both who were terrible at their job.The property, on its face, looks nice. The pool and gym are actually relatively nice despite all the cheap and pointless gates theyve added in. Thats about the extent of the positives I have for this property. If you decide to live in this community against my advice in the next few years, expect to live in a perpetual construction zone. Not a weekday has gone by in months that Ive not heard the sounds of heavy machinery. The management group also enjoys shutting off water to the entire complex without notifying residents, and has on at least one occasion left it off until 1:30AM.The worst part of living here by far is the management group. JMG Realty, the property management group, is terrible. There is currently no property manager, and I dont think the front-office staff manage to stay with the company for more than 3 months before quitting or being fired, because its completely new faces every time I go in. The staff is consistently unhelpful when it comes to maintenance requests, lease renewals, and complaints. I went in on one occasion to pick up a package that had never arrived (and I figured out was consequently stolen when it wasnt there), and when I complained about the ineffectiveness of the new gate - which doesnt stop anyone from getting in, especially considering it cant stop the ice cream truck from entering every afternoon - the front office agent I complained to actually yelled at me for complaining! Not to mention that they consistently say that theyll get back to me or see to my maintenance request, and then never call me back or fix my problem. It also took them 3 months to deliver a copy of my lease after signing a renewal after requesting it multiple times and being told itd be delivered to our door.I consistently have to request 2-4 times for any maintenance to get done - which happens every 2-3 weeks because the non-updated apartments in the complex such as mine are falling apart. It took JMG 6 weeks to fix my non-functioning stove/oven unit after it blew out the power to my whole apartment. It took them a week to fix the water damage to my ceiling from where they botched the renovation of the apartment above me, despite them telling me theyd come fix it the very next morning. It only got fixed after I made 2 separate visits to the office. Of the approximately 15-20 or so maintenance requests (excluding the 2 emergency requests) Ive had to put in in the last 8 months, maybe 3-5 of them that I can think of have been completed within 48 hours. The rest, I have to call in multiple times to get resolved. Also, the emergency maintenance contact, as of my last experience, does not live in Atlanta. He lives approximately an hour away from the complex. The bottom line is that since Covenant Capital Group bought the property and hired JMG to manage it, the resident experience has deteriorated, and I cant suggest that anyone that wants a positive living experience should rent here.
F this place. They are charging me a late fee when their online portal system was down. They dont want checks because they kept getting stolen. Apparently their system being down is our fault and we are being charged a late fee. This place is a complete joke. They make old management look good. Move anywhere but here
Nice apartments. poorly managed. they have entered my place for inspection four times so far and i have 3 months left on lease. I have no problem with them entering except i am given less than 24 hours notice and told theyll enter with or without me home.... Once again this would be fine if i dint have a skiddish dog that i rescued from being very abused.. move here if you dont need to rely on anyone to fix anything for you and are not concerned with privacy.
I just recently moved in here and I’m so disgusted I saw pictures online and it looked nothing like what I actually moved into I have seen killed numerous roaches in my apartment my air constantly goes out I will be attaching photos of how filthy the surrounding of the apartment is you can’t even put your hands on the banister because they are covered in cob webs and other disgusting substances all the requirements in steps to move in here and how much rent is you would think they would take pride in the property
They couldnt care less about you as a person and part of their community, Ive been living there for almost two years and they keep changin their staff so theres no way you can really connect or stablish a real relationship....I was in the office today and I have never felt more a non-important resident thanks to Ashley Crawford the member of staff who was assiting me, so if you are considering on leasing an appartment at Madison Druid Hills in Atlanta, think twice because once you sign a leasing contract they dont care about you, they only care about the contract.
Incompetent staff, and I mean INCOMPETENT.They came to fix my sliding door and instead broke the locking mechanism. I notified the front office the SAME DAY that it needed to be fixed as I was leaving for a business trip. When I came back, nothing had been done (meaning thousands of dollars worth of equipment was sitting there waiting to be stolen). This is far from their first offense with me either. Additionally, as others have noted, the pest problem is out of control. Im extremely clean and yet my apartment is crawling with roaches. Ive had to practically beg them to get pest control out to my apartment but even they were ineffective.I could go on for paragraphs for how many grievances Ive experienced here, but I wont waste your time. Just dont give them your business.
I set up an appointment over 2 weeks ago to look at some apartments. I even got a reminder email about the appointment a day before. I spoke to a person over the phone the phone regarding me coming down. It took 45 minutes 1 way to get to the appointment today. There was not a single soul in the office. I called the office and sent an email. 9 hours later and still nothing. While i was waiting i ran in to a lady who said the same thing happened to her a week before. Others came up to the office. The office hours states that it is supposed to be open until 5pm that sunday . This is very frustrating.
Pros:-Good location close to stores and I-85-24 hr gym-Safe and quiet communityCons:-Apartments kind of old. Outside looks nice but when we moved in we noticed they just painted over an old bathtub and sink.-need wifi to use your phone-maintence requests can take some time to get resolved
Cockroaches, absolutely no cell reception, outrageous water bills, an apathetic management company, the bare minimum provided for maintenance requests, and not to mention North Druid Hills Road during rush hour. Live somewhere else - youll regret signing a lease here.
The units are nice - they were built sometime in the 1970s and have a fresh coat of paint on the walls and cabinets, hastily installed carpets, and rubbery faux hardwood laminate flooring. The cabinet doors/drawers may not close or open, and the shelving in your closets will probably fall and break. My power, gas, and water bills were ridiculous for living in a one bedroom apartment by myself, not to mention the fee paid for trash even though the dumpster was always overflowing and seemed to be emptied once or twice a month. You will see roaches and spiders daily despite the pest control visits. The property is horribly mismanaged (late fees even when you pay your rent early, billing errors, maintenance fees, etc.) and maintenance will either never show up when theyre supposed to or they will do the minimum amount of work to fix the problem.
Do not move in unless you have money to waste seriously! Kloe the leasing consultant is the only competent person there and shes a good sales person too. Too many issues and way overpriced for what they offer. BELIEVE these reviews because i made the mistake to not believe what people had to say. Their ratings has declined dramatically too from 2.5 when i first moved in in November to 1.9!!! that alone says alot.
Over priced, terrible mgt, if you have to move dont move here their not flexible on moving, dont answer the phone if you have a issue, bunch of conartist, i was a college student one of the worse desecions i ever made, i stayed by myself no way the the office fees should be high as they was, 50 water bill, 45 sewage bill, for just one person, never ever steping foot on that property again DONT MOVE THERE YOU WILL REGREAT IT I RATHER BE HOMELESS THEN MOVE BACK THERE SWEAR TO GOD !!!
Pros: Not the most expensive option in the area. Good location. Pool, tennis courts, volleyball court, dog park are in very good shape. Charcoal grilling stations throughout the complex. Quieter feel than busy N Druid Hills Rd.Cons: Poorly managed. Trash is often overflowing. Front gates have been broken for half of 2016. Gas grills near pool are often out of propane. Aside from treadmills, fitness center needs a refresh. There are more roaches on my top level unit than there should be. Work requests take a long time to be resolved, if ever. Crime stats are not great.
Seriously consider all other options first. My story is my experience and im sure many folks may have different ones but my main problem is with the management. Ive had several major appliance issues and it takes maintenance forever to fix it but more importantly if you notify management they seem just as slow to act. I have had a washer flood my floor three times and my oven is broke. Took off work to address the issue with mgmt and maintenance and after waiting a full day 10-5, maintenance shows and does nothing. What. It has been nearly a full month since my oven has been on backorder and yet logic would be to replace the oven with one from an empty unit but management doesnt seem to think that is ok. Lord help me get pass this year lease then im out this piece. Seriously who trains these people. That would be the first thing I would think of as a manager to swap out the unit.
Keep out .. no cell phone signal in this place . front gate not working some time due to no cell phone signal .leasing office phone off line . payment website down , over charge me on water usage , Im stuck in lease contract , Im cant wait to move out / If you want to living in jungle .... let move in and good luck
We live in Viera Briarcliff and are very happy with everything the complex provides! From the perfect pool, gym and laundry room to the way that our garbage is picked up from our door- we are grateful that we found Viera and made it our home. We have everything we need and couldnt be happier!
We are now almost 2 months in. The apts are renovated and not new and that sometimes shows, but decent apts overall, especially the granite counter tops. Nice amenities pool and gym, but really the biggest advantage here is the staff on site. Kudos to Kloe and LeCheryl as well as the maintenance team who are very prompt and super nice and are always there to help us out even beyond office hours!Update one year in - Im updating my review from 5 star to 3 star, unfortunately. The most amazing Kloe has left the management team and its a shame. Rest of the team is 100 precent nice but its no compare to the 120 percent we were used to.Anyhow, the main reason Im downgrading is because of pests. We pay every month and simply do not get anything back. Spiders, roaches and occasional mice, are part of the daily routine here. Besides that I think people here a bit gone too far with awful reviews. The maintenance guy Denise is the most super nice guy in the world and will fix whatever issue you have. True that I would have 2 additional guys like him on the maintenance and this would be a dream place.

2022-03-15I am an avid reader of Google reviews, and probably put too much weight in them. So with that in mind, let me tell you… this apartment complex is run like a dream. Every person on staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Montoya is the absolute best. And the maintenance staff are the fastest and kindest I’ve ever encountered in my 10+ years of apartment living. Now don’t get me wrong, these apartments are not the newest. They show their age. But they are very clean and even my worry of renting on the bottom floor has yet to be greeting with a single bug. Safety was a huge deal for me, and as I said, I was worried with a bottom unit. But it’s been 2 weeks and I feel very safe. My neighbors have been very friendly and I enjoy walking around sunset on all the sidewalks through the complex. There are always a lot of families and folks out walking their pups. This complex is minutes away from Toco Hills and any and all shopping you could ever want. Traffic on North Druid can be a bit loud in the front of the complex, but welcome to the city. Overall, giving my new home a 5/5!

2022-03-03I love living at Madison druid Hills! I really like the fitness center, they have a lot of different equipment, more than other complexes I’ve lived at. I also like that the clubhouse has a lot of refreshments like sparkling water and juice, which of the managers always keep restocked and ask what flavors we like! Every time I go to the clubhouse the managers always make sure to ask if anything is wrong in our apartment. The maintenance always comes the same day. Occasionally there is a bug in our apartment but that’s just the reality of living in Georgia, especially when it’s warm out.

2022-06-23I could not be happier about my decision of moving into Madison Druid Hills, it is worth every penny. The amenities are an extreme plus, the community and apartments are very clean. Every staff member Ive encountered has been very polite and helpful. I moved here from out of state and wouldve not been able to do it without Joeys (Joshelles) help, she is extraordinary and very professional. Very happy resident :)

2022-06-18Me and my 3 year old have lived here going on 3 years and it’s been a really good experience. The community as a whole is great and very diverse from families to students and everyone else. It is very well kept I feel comfortable using the whole property the pool, fitness center and general green spaces. Very grateful to say the management and office staff has been the same since I got here and they are GREAT! There are small issues from time to time but maintenance is very quick to address maintenance requests. Although sometimes things can be done more thoroughly they have always address all of my concerns. The Staff at The Madison go above and beyond with community event and activities. Just making a true effort when it comes to all the aspects of making The Madison a really comfortable and safe place to live.

2022-03-03Alex and Mrs.Dawn is phenomenal!!! They love thetheir tenants and give us ANY help we ask for. Ive been staying here for 2 years now and its by far the BEST complex I have resided in. Its also a very beautiful, warm, loving environment. I couldnt ask for a better place to stay!! Thank you Madison Druid Hills for all that you do.

2022-06-09Great staff. They stay busy but are very consistent with getting back with you, as well as being patient when explaining things.I’ve lived here for 2 years and have dealt with just a few unpleasant situations (none of which were the apartment complex’s fault) and both Dawn and Alex did everything they could every time the front office was involved. The few times I’ve been to the front office, the other staff has always been friendly as well. Good people running the place, and well-priced units in a good area.

2022-05-01The staff at the Madison are super helpful and easy to work with! Our leasing agent, Joey, was always very responsive and walked us through everything we needed to do before moving in. Could not have asked for a better experience!

2020-08-31UPDATE: Have been living here for a year and a half now and everything has far met my expectations. I consider this apartment HOME. I love the neighborhood, and management takes care of all issues. Maintenance is quick to fix anything and are very friendly. Love it here.I was originally hesitant to view this complex because of the poor reviews. But when you look deeper its for the old complex that Madison has taken over. We currently live in the area and we are SO impressed with Madison Druid Hills. We have viewed the community twice, and each time the staff has been so nice and helpful. They truly take their time to make sure that every question is answered. The community itself seems very quiet during the day, I cant speak for the nighttime as I dont know (yet), but the trees everywhere make it feel really relaxing. Theres 26 buildings and tons of parking. A dog run, a dog park, a tennis court, a beautiful pool, and a super awesome gym. We viewed the Dogwood and the fact that the floorplan looks updated, like ACTUALLY updated - not like some of these places saying that they provide luxury amenities with updated styles - its a huge plus. Were really excited about this place and hope to make it our next home!Thank you Madison Druid Hills!

2021-07-28Madison Druid Hills is by far the best apartment complex that Ive had the pleasure of staying at.From the front office that is always understanding to the amazing maintenance team. Ive never had to wait more than 24 hours for any request to be fulfilled. And they are super friendly. My neighbors are quiet and the grounds are always beautiful.10 out of 10
