We stayed here for our sons Army Airborne graduation. First of all, Xavier deserves a raise! He was fantastic! He was there when we checked in and at first we were issued the wrong room and he upgraded us for no extra charge. Then, our last night there I wanted to do a small load of laundry and the washers were broken. I told him and he offered to let me use the washer in the back and even put our clothes in the dryer for us and called when they were ready. He went above and beyond our expectations. We could tell that it was an older hotel but it was clean. The rooms were very clean and the bed comfy. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!
Overall: Do NOT stay herePros: The one star is because when we stayed (2 days, mid July), my kids really enjoyed the salt-water pool. Pool towels were provided on the deck. The bathroom was clean when we arrived.Neutral: Front desk staff was friendly, but not always at their stationCons: bed bugs or other insects that bit us at night in the soft, lumpy uncomfortable beds. Room was small. We booked it for the kitchenette - while there were pots and a pan, there was insufficient dishes and cutlery. When we went to get more, the staff had no idea where to find any kitchen items.We stayed two days, and were unpleasantly surprised to return the second evening to find our room had not been cleaned, and we were were not given new towels (which we had left on the floor in anticipation of clean ones).Breakfast was pretty much non-existent. There were 2-3 cereal options and one sad try of 2x2 pastries. Not sufficient for my kids, so we had to eat out the first day. We went to a store and provided our own breakfast for the room the second day.Security: at the end of our hall was a door to the outside. It had a sign saying the door must stay locked and be opened with guest key at all times... and it was NEVER closed. We did not feel very safe.
This would receive zero stars if possible but that option isn’t available. There’s zero chance these “positive” reviews are correct. When we arrived the elevator was out of order. The pool is green and also not available for use. It was 3:30 and our room wasn’t ready. We took what they had and slept through the night. Upon waking and hoping for their breakfast thats advertised, it’s basically non existent. The juice machine is also out of order. They had box cereal and milk. When speaking to management about any of this they have no answers to give. Their response to not having juice was “ don’t your kids drink milk?” This place is beyond unacceptable. I will be contacting the corporate office about this issue.

Decided to venture away from Bonvoy after a 13 hour drive down the East Coast.Room requested (king with sofa) was not given. Toilet paper roll in bathroom was used.These are details I would expect even 1-star hotels to accommodate.All and all, the room looked nothing like the images provided on hotel’s website.Was excited to become a Choice member but likely won’t be returning for another stay.
I stayed in this hotel 8/3 and 8/4 and had to move rooms 3 times do to filthiness. The room was disgusting. Total health hazard and when asked for a complete refund immediately at the front desk and they told me we dont issue refund for any reason. I am going to contact the Health Dept and state inspector regarding the health n condition of this hotel
This is the Best Hotel in Columbus for me, a feel at home stay, the staff need a raise they stay on their game, I stay here 3-4 weekends a year, always clean and safe
Overall awful stay, this room was NOT clean and had a dried up cough drop on the comforter which means it was never cleaned! Hair was everywhere and shampoo was used before we even took a shower, clean these rooms.
I had been feeling a bit sorry for my husband and his weekly stays at a hotel while working out of town...then I spent this past week WITH him at this location. The rooms are beautiful and almost glamorously updated. I have to say almost since there were alot of construction workers and military men staying here, lol. So, dont think twice if you see one of their locations near somewhere youre looking to visit. This was so enjoyable for someone working away from home.

Tried to check in at 2:00 in the morning after driving all day. No rooms available because they still needed to be cleaned. Absolutely horrible
Breakfast was completely empty. They supposedly ran out of milk for the cereal and oatmeal. No juice or any kind of beverage. Only dry cereal, coffee, and oatmeal packages. Pathetic
Short staffed so not a lot of people to do housekeeping. But other than that a good place to stay.

2022-04-27I had to leave a review. I see most are hit or miss, but my stay was very good. The staff accommodated me and my autistic daughter to a T. The room was comfortable and very clean (I check everything when checking into a hotel and come equipped with my own cleaning and sanitation products to go back over everything), the shower was hot and breakfast was decent. Ms. Cheri came and fixed an issue with the TV and is the sweetest person. I had no issues at all with noise. The room rate went up from my initial booking, but I couldnt ask for a better stay in the area for the price.

2021-12-20Very nice hotel the staff was very friendly and kind. The breakfast was not what I expected. It didnt have a lot to choose from for the breakfast. It was a grab and go breakfast type food. Tiny Sausage breakfast biscuits. It ran out fast. Would have been a 5 if the breakfast was better. The place was very clean and beautiful. Nice stay for decent prices.

2022-06-09Arrived and was given a room that had not been cleaned. Room was changed the room we were changed to lock didnt work. Spent most of the next day locked out of the room because the manager had to pick up the maintenance man. Was supposed to receive compensation for the room but when looking at my account found the charged again. Went for the weekend to spend my birthday with my family happy birthday to me.

2022-03-18Dont even bother. Would give zero stars if available. Had a reservation set for two nights 2 months in advance. Show up the night of reservation and no rooms were available. The maids didnt clean so no rooms available. The front desk was absolutely no help and was EXTREMELY rude. They gave another customer the keys to someone elses room after they booked 2 rooms and didnt have 2 rooms available to them. Dont waste your time or money on this place, take your business elsewhere.

2022-02-07The smoke alarm went off at 3AM for 30 minutes! I called the front desk and an annoyed attendant told me it does that every morning at 3AM and had been for the last 2 weeks and has been worked on but not fixed. She then stated it usually doesnt go off that long and she doesnt know how to get it to stop! Then it just got louder and started going off inside ALL OF THE ROOMS too and not just the hallways anymore! I asked this morning what was going to be done to compensate those that were affected and I was told its not their fault that its messed up and nothing was going to be done! Ill never stay there again! Ive stayed before, theres always an issue or three and no one to care enough to actually fix anything and everyone just tells you they dont know what to do and goes on with their day. SMH

2022-03-11Almost gave it a 4, but I guess its my own fault and didnt want to punish them for it. Room was as expected. The way the bed in my room was set up I bashed both of my feet on the bed frame while walking by. Seemed to stick out further than the bed. The courtyard out back was unexpected, it has a beautiful rustic picnic shelter and the landscaping was beautiful and very well maintained. Water pressure for the shower was good.

2022-05-19Although the shower drain really slow and there was a beeping noise in the middle of the night (not in my room), the room was clean and the two ladies at the front desk, (Sharon and Samantha) were amazing. They were very helpful, polite, and did everything to make my stay comfortable. Thank you ladies. You ladies deserve a raise. If no raise, at least the company should buy them lunch or dinner.

2022-04-23Rip off from the beginning.First, the pool was closed.Then, we left a day early and got the runaround about a refund.Then, today, we were charged $ 240.00 FOR CLEANING FEES for a clean room.We booked thru Expedia for the first and last time.

2022-04-16Will not stay at this hotel again!!!! Over charged our bank card locking our money down took a full 9 days after our stay to get it straightened out. Ladies up front do not know what they are doing!!!!
