We have a vehicle that we purchased that we received with damage so I submitted an arbitration immediately upon receipt of the vehicle. We then put the vehicle into our service department and discovered it was a FLOOD vehicle. When I tried to amend the arbitration, they said that we could not add on to the arbitration claim. She said that she would review the security camera to see if the damage was on the vehicle when it left the auction lot. It has been a week with NO contact or communication. I emailed as to the status of the claim with NO answer. I called back to try and get someone to contact me about the flood damage (which was estimated at over $38,000 to fix). I asked for a supervisor to contact me... with NO COMMUNICATION or contact back. Totally frustrated with their lack of communication and regard for their customers. (Would like to give them a negative 10 stars!)
PSA: The worst possible auction experience ever.I have been purchasing cars for my dealership for a couple of years now from Manheim. I typically choose to purchase from other locations but recently decided to purchase from the Manheim Atlanta & Georgia Location. I recently purchased a total of 6 units from their sale on thursday. All of the vehicles were 2013 or newer with under 100k miles run green light. I spent $1,000 on Post Sale Inspections and all 6 vehicles passed with no problems.Fast forward two days later, i receive all the cars at my dealership and have my service department inspect the cars for good measure. EVERY SINGLE CAR that passed the inspection and was run as green light have major mechanical issues ranging from either engine or transmission related issues. This auction was clearly hiding the issues and had put minimal effort in even covering it up. If you are going to be slick and hide problems, do me the favor of atleast hiding the issues better. NEVER have i ever had an ENTIRE batch of supposedly clean cars have issues from a single auction. I will update the review based on how their arbitration team does to rectify this, but I WILL NEVER buy cars from these 2 locations in the future.
Very disrespectful and unprofessional, especially in the arbitration department. If you know someone inside, your life will be great, they will put the policy a side and work to get things done, of course, everything for a price. If you are straight forward dealer with no friends inside the arbitration department, they treat you like a homeless from the street. They are weak and cannot stand a discussion because of their limited knowledge in this business.
Horrible auction doesnt deserve one star customer service is very bad rude and disrespectful alot of crooked dealers and security checked a vehicle monday afternoon purchased Tuesday came to pick it up 2 hours after sale only to find out someone vandalized it broke the key broke the plastic piece under steering wheel and claimed to look at the cameras and cover all damages its been over 8 days security said they REFUSED to look at the cameras and had the audacity to say it wasnt vandalized although the mechanic shop for manheim TOLD me to arbitrate it because who ever vandalized it broke the whole ignition and said they probably tampered with things under the hood and advised me not to buy the car.. and the arbitration department has been wasting my time this entire time now they vandalized damaged vehicle is sitting on my Floorplan even tho its sitting in their lot damaged because of them and I need the car arbitrated.. hands down the worst auction when it comes to bad staff, auctioneers take bribe, they allow people on the lot who dont have acesss cards, Derrick the security supervisor lets certain dealers do whatever they want employees lie on dealers to get them in trouble.. very disappointed. Alyssa from arbitration one day picked up the one and claimed she knew me from before so she didnt want to help me and refused to help me speak to a manager before I knew it I was hung up on...
I think it would be much easier if the CEO are manager could hire and separate crew and give them the gate passes and let them bring them to us !! That way noone is on the lot !!!Golf carts with 6 seats would be better than vans !!!their lot vision app is awesome !!!needs more service trucks running on auction week.
BEWARE BUYER. Will be returning the vehicle which i Bought. The 2001 Honda civic with 72k miles and it turned out the odometer was rolled back and the actual mileage was close 190,000k miles which i found from Carfax report. The seller is Gwinnett Place Honda, now let see who will be showing themselves innocent from wrong doing. Mannheim or Gwinnett place Honda? I guess they will just keep silent on all this and will keep doing their business as if these are normal things and they are aware of it
WARNING!!WARNING!! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT TRUST ANY AND I MEAN ANY CONDITION REPORTS!! THE CONDITION REPORTS ARE ALL INCORRECT THEY ARE MISREPRESENTED AND COMPLETELY BOGUS !! WARNING DO NOT DO NOT TRUST ANY CONDITION REPORTS AT ALL NONE WHAT SO EVER THEY ARE ALL OPPOSITE OF THE TRUTH ! WHEN BIDDING DO NOT TRUST THE CR CONDITION REPORT AS IT MISREPRESENTS THE ENTIRE SALE AND WHEN VEHICLES ARRIVE THEY WILL BE RIDDLED WITH NIGHTMARE PROBLEMS THAT ANY HUMAN WOULD BE ABLE TO DIAGNOSE YET THESE SO CALLED PROFESSIONALS MISSED VEHICLE AFTER VEHICLE! IF IT SAYS RUNS AND DRIVES ! RUNNNN AND BID ONLY 5% OF LOW MMR OR DO NOT BID AT ALL JUST A SCRAP METAL BID IF MORE THEN SUFFICIENT! GOOD LICK YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !
Most ridiculous and worst customer service I have ever experienced and I work in hospitality myself.Cancelling appointments 10 minutes before your appointment to retrieve your car, hanging up the phone on a customer asking questions nicely, and telling you when you arrive you have to wait over 2 hours until the sprinkling rain stops. No lightening, thunder, or hail to speak of so the safety of their employees was not in danger by any means.I do not recommend any business with this company unless you speak directly to management who will help you to their full potential yet not do anything about their rude and unprofessional employees.
This place is great to pick up used cars the problem is half the time they don’t have the titles ready and the fees are outrageous as a buyer or seller. Purchased a car for two months ago still waiting on the title. Tried reaching out to management no solution was told I can return the vehicle or to wait it out. And hope that the seller would provide one. They should have some type of system to penalize the sellers heavily if they don’t provide the title or don’t allow the vehicle to be sold at the auction if they cannot provide a title within 30 days. Problem is the car is already sold. Still waiting on the title. The staff is pretty friendly but as a auction it’s ridiculous to wait over two months for title.
Most unprofessional place ever. Takes an hour to catch a shuttle, sometimes they have three shuttle drivers, other times it be one driver for many costumers during the week. Never listen to security, because they will give you wrong information. The staff are nice people, but the way of running things, is wrong and very unprofessional for a big auction. But overall youll be happy to get out of that place.
Outside of the three car transport truck driver that decided to be a thief and take things off of my trailer... It was a good experience. Security and customer service were really nice and professional! I handled the theif myself btw. Im sure hell realize he was caught when he comes back to pickup his trailer and notice I took back what was mine.
Horrible place to do business with. Ive been a customer for over 20 years and the last 5 cars Ive purchased from there took me more than 2 hours to find. The cars were not where the last scan was or the last scan was given to me incorrectly. The van drivers are awesome. You can see their frustration too as there are usually 2 or 3 people in the same boat as me. The paperwork is usually incomplete when it comes to you!
WORST AUCTION, DO NOT COME HERE. All the employees are so rude and have no respect for anyone that is there to do business. they treat you like children and James the manager does not do anything about it, because he is just like them. It feels like a military base from how many rules they have. We ended up leaving and not even waiting for the auction to start because all the (wanna be) security people kept bossing us around like we were kids or something.
Manheim selling inop vehicle on regular lanes.I brought a Dodge Dart and Nissan Altima with over 3.5 cr stated the vehicle runs and drives. I sent my driver to go pick them up they said these vehicle was brought in inop ( not drivable) and need towing. I paid top dollar for this vehicles. Manheim arbitration known I was treated unfairly, they still don’t want to refund me my money and it’s been over a month.
Bad working environment. Been there since October, just got fired for not knowing a coworker by name. Had a few things stolen from their property and even after security reviewed the cameras, nothing was done to resolve the issues, retrieve the items or compensate for the losses on their property. Certain van drivers (vans #7 and #10) have horrible attitudes. Do not apply to work here.-JR
Worst auction ever ... I been to too many Manheim’s . Absolutely B.S everywhere . Service is bad . They put on hold for ever . On top of all that they lock the engine of your car and they start giving you too many excuses till the time period passes and then they hit you. Don’t Do Business with this auction save your money cause they will get you one way or another .
The world class Scammer Cameron motor sports sells junk over here. All Frame damage. Accidents! Hidden transmission and engine problem airbags issues be EXTRA careful folks buying from this seller! His green light cars are a trick to scam buyers with! God Punish you for your all time bad intensions and making dirty money on junk cars!
I brought a car from them since June 5. I didn’t receive the title in 30 days, so I brought it back for arbitration for no title. The following day the call me and said the title just came in. I came to pick the car back up and they still didn’t have the title ready. I ask them about the title almost every day they still says it’s not ready. When I ask to speak with manager on December 20th.... They told me it’s at another Manheim location. I spent over 200 in transport moving that car back n fourth. I feel that they fault they did not have my title at the location I brought it and fail to tell me after 6 months it was at another location. The manager Ronnie Johnson said he couldn’t refunded the transportation.
Bought a car online it had approximately $1500 in damages that was not on condition report. I called and talk to someone about it and was told they would not do anything about the damages because they couldnt see the damages in the photos we sent to them. Also, we had a post sale inspection on a vehicle we purchased a month ago and they missed the air conditioning, radio, and both power front seats and they would not do anything about that either.NEGATIVE 1 STARS
One star is only for all time scammer seller Cameron Motors Sports for selling junk cars esp with engine and transmission problems after drive of from Menheim Atlanta the car won’t go up hill need to call towing truck. Will never buy from this all time scammer seller again!
The absolute WORST customer service in the industry. Their auction is purposefully deceitful with regard to their condition reports. And when presented with their inaccuracies and deceit, they hide behind the letter of the arbitration policy, regardless of their admittance of errors on the condition report.I have been buying and selling autos for more than 20 years, and I have never seen a more dishonest collection of employees EVER. If youre currently on-line and thinking about clicking buy now, Id urge you to proceed with caution. These people cannot be trusted! Id recommend that you shift gears to Adesa or utilize a local Independent auction who still employee people who appreciate a relationship with their business partners. Unfortunately, Manheim has lost that business acumen and theyre only in it for the money. Absolutely zero customer skills!
Im the last person to write a bad review, i do everything to avoid it but in this situating i can not ignore it. I have purchased 5 units on 12.11.18 and logged into my account to pay, for some reason 2 units did not clear but i figured its do to the title not being there since this happened before. After making the payment i have left US for vacation and came back 15 days later to find out that those two units still did not clear payment. On 12.28.18 Cynthia from collections called and left a VM with her direct number, and notified us that the cars are not payed for and we need to clear the payment to avoid any issues. I personally called back the same day and left a VM and no one has called me back, i kept calling everyday, couple times a day to different numbers for collection department and not one single person called me back. After some time i had another call from Tyler who also left me a VM in regards to this situation I have also attempted many times to call him back as well as Cynthia again but no success. On 1.8.19 i have decided to drive up there 1.4 hours away to figure out whats going on and why the cars did not clear payment, after speaking to Cynthia who is btw very rude and unprofessional, provided not only no explanation on why it didnt clear but also lied to me that our account is locked by the corporate office and she can not do anything to unlock it even that i have payed for the cars at front of her, she also told me that the reason she could not call back or receive VM from me is because there is something with their phone system and she does not receive them or see any calls, i had to pay late fees and had my account locked for about a week. I have also called corporate office to see why they locked my account and they told me that they do not lock an account but the location where i bought cars place the lock on it. So Cynthia lied to me by telling me that corporate locked my account.
I have only been buying cars at Manheim Metro Atlanta Auto Auction for 3 years and so far every car purchase has been smooth and easy. The layout of each lanes inventory makes it easy to view all the cars Ive identified on the website. The 11am start time takes the pressure off of not having enough time to view and value the cars. Once the auction starts the lanes run smooth with no delays. Nice Job for Repokar also! I often visit them with great pleasure! thank you
Wow. Katie!! Staff needs training, and the training for the Assistant lane leaders. When a complaint is against one of the drivers, instead of sitting down and a face to face report they pass on the word and do not dis miss the driver properly. There are 2 sides of every story. many of the lead lane people ad not polite they talk to the many of the driver like they are slaves, they are very disrepecful to the co-workers. Just because you might not like or have something personal against a worker. you do not treat them in a certain kind of way. i am sure that the labor Board would like to hear about this miss treatment of the workers . And tell you that they do not want you on their property. (what is that) if you have not stolen anything. There are rules when you drive . No telephone, no radio. put at least one window down, watch out for buyers. All done, accept; a smile from the lead man. all the women are great. Mr. Robert is an issue with some of his helpers on lane 3. one of the issued was Ms. Mable. I want my job back. i need my job back. i am a Senior with a small income and i need that extra money. This is unfair. i was not called into the office to hear my side of the story just dismissed, not layed off from the part time position. Mr. Robert just reported what he wanted instead of having a meeting with his superiors and the worker. that was unfair to just dismiss the driver. What kind of leader is he. wanting to look good to the boss, by complaining about the workers. one mistake of disagreement dismiss that worker. Unfair. Mr Robert are you afraid of the boss man? Afraid of losing your job? what is your problem you act like a house slave . How many people was dismissed because you did not like them personally but not their work ability. I follow the law. to the T. maybe you should be checked out. you afraid of your superiors? Are you an Uncle Tom?
Tha staff is so rude and act like they are having the worst day of their life! I attended the auction 10/30/18 as well as 11/1/2018 and both times I felt like I was bothering them when I asked a question! Aweful experience and I will be talking to the general manager.
Below you will find a list of issues that not only me but many people have with Manheim Atlanta....1. Several occasions their website is down and can not perform the options that should be available.2. Customer service is extremely rude!! And to be specific Cynthia Kelly simply hung up and did not bother to call back and Tara Neal was her boss as stated when we called back told us that calls drop because there phone lines are web based still did not call back if that was the case. Tara Neal “the boss” is argumentative and disrespectful!3. As a company when you have a customer that spends hundreds of thousands of dollars with you it is safe to say that you should be at least courtesy and help with issues that they might have4. I would strongly recommend spending your money with different auctions who do offer great customer service.
Be carefully when buying here, I bought a 0 accident car according to their fake Auto check report, but the car has 2 accidents found later on carfax the seller was the mastermind SCMER Cameron Motor Sports. Then my combo key was missing. Long story short this seller Cameron Motor Sport here in Manheim sells junk cars, Take extra care cars buying from this seller otherwise you will loose all your money!
We are S & S Motors. We have been in Business for 8 years. We have been buying cars from here without any issues. We worked with Brian at arbitration many times and never had any problems because he seemed to care about our business and knew his job very well. We bought a 2007 Jeep Liberty VIN:1J4GK48K17W541422 about a month ago and discovered it had couple problems. We went to arbitration online. The next day we figured there were more problems and spoke to shelly about it and told her we were going to return the car but she insisted we should have the car checked and send back the report. We tried to get an appointment at the dealership and couldnt get space till about 10 days later and we informed shelly via email and she replied there wasnt any problem. After we had it checked and sent her the report she says its too late and nothing can be done. This is extremely upsetting and seems like we were conned into this situation. We had no problem returning the car as early as two days after we bought it but shelly emphasized we didnt need to and should have it checked. In the 8 years we have been doing business we have never had such unnecessary problems until we started dealing with shelly. I dont know if its just us or she does this to other dealers. Even though this is not the first issue, we bought a BMW 750li VIN:WBAKB835X9CY62532 Green light did a post sale for 7 days oil level was low and we took it back to her to recheck. Apparently the same car had run a week ago AS IS. When we took it back to shelly she told us there is nothing wrong. Now we need to replace the engine. We have been doing business for 8 years and I believe by now we know how the system works. We not having issues with previous managers only asserts that and proves shelly hammet is either victimizing us or she doesnt know her job too well.
My daughter purchased a car from this place and is not able to get a tag because this dealership is duplicating VINs. They took my daughters money even after saying the problem would be corrected. They were rude and jumping in my daughters face and told her they would repo her car even thought she is up to date. I asked for them to buy the car back and to no avail and my daughter still doesnt have a tag for her car. THEY ARE FRAUDING PEOPLE. BECAUSE HOW CAN ANOTHER PERSON GET A TAG FOR A CAR THAT WAS SOLD TO ANOTHER PERSON.
BRANDY REED IS THE ONLY GOOD PERSON THERE! I WISH SHE WAS THE MANGER! SHE HAS GOOD FAITH AND SHE WILL GO BY THE BOOK AND DO WHAT IS RIGHT! IF ANYONE HAS ISSUES TRY TO TALK TO HER! BECAUSE SHE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT BOTH BUYERS AND SELLERS!THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN YOU ARE THE BEST
Manheim aka Cox Automotive is like any other corporation, profits over their customers.Manheim continually comes up with creative ways to nickle and dime their dealer customers in the name of better customer experience.I have dealt with several of their employees and they have been extremely helpful. Some of Manheims business practices are questionable, like allowing certain sellers to arbitrarily charge buyers additional fees on top of the already high Manheim standard fees under some vague name. Sigh
The top people and executives here do not care about the dealers that buy cars here, even though without them they would be nothing. I had an incident with a front desk girl at Texas DFW who threatened my dealer for no reason, so reasonably, I went to Mgmt and they did nothing but lock me out from every Manheim auction in the country! Ive had no prior negative instances nor done anything illegal at Manheim. They are pansy people who do not deserve any position theyre in since they dont act like managers at all. Doug is supposed to be a client experience guy and the only experience we had was rude, lies, corruption, and unfair treatment of a woman-ran dealer. Someone should really regulate them. Go anywhere else to buy cars; Check your local area, go to Adesa, CarMax, etc. where ppl actually treat other dealers right. Manheim is a joke business ran by corrupt people who do not address and fix real issues as they arrive. Poorest experience Ive ever had.
Scam auction. Here are the basics.Only buy from big dealers.(and a few at that)Only buy from the first 30 numbersKeep in mind the growing fees. They make on average 500 in fees per car.. buying and selling fees. Not including all other crappy fees and it keeps increasingThe same bs cars run over and over again because dealers keep taking a loss while Manheim profits off everyones loss (f#*€ them)Atlanta also has a lot of dealers shipping cars out of country to make more profit which increases the price for you to make a profitable.Smart (Scam) dealers can’t take a loss so they will put Lucas or sawdust in you engine to appear good till you drive out the auctionThat’s only the beginning...
The wprst place ever first of all the information lady no greeting just sign yput name. Ms.Vickie very nice lady but the security on the other hand smh so damn unorganized. They dont care about the customers very rude... Not helpful at all.... Never will my car come back to the place...
Every single time I buy or sell with manheimatl Atlanta location or Georgia location I have an issue! Running my last car in lane Thursday even though I asked for Tuesday befor bringing in the car to be sold. After this sale I will not be dealing with Manheim any more!
Worst auction house I have ever been to.The security guy came down on me for driving after sale in a vehicle I bought, seriously, I cant explain how out I f control they were.. like a pack of wild rabbit dogs, I know theres one already told me that I was in the wrong and what I needed to get out of there for the day, learn the rules, all of them but then another 6-7 security officers pile out of 3 vehicles, (after the one already told me I couldnt test drive, and that I should just go before they get here I wasnt fast enough to get the hint.) The top dog in charge (YES HEAD IF SECURITY) Was going to give me a beat down, and then suspend me for 45 days... I am a BIG Guy, and I was in fear of my life. No kidding. This isnt over. I am looking for a Lawyer.
This auction has become a joke, an auction controlled by the big sellers. A seller can announce a car GREEN LIGHT WITH BAD TRANSMISSION, BAD ENGINE, that is not a green light vehicle. I will post a picture of a vehicle sold today by bridgecrest with all this announcement and still a green light vehicle

2022-06-18Terrible experience with security and staff was terribly slow and unorganized. Staff tries to multi task and really not good at their attempts. Not all security was bad but two particular security people made my experience the worst experience ever.

2022-06-14If I could this place negative -1,000 stars i would. These people are EXTREMELY RUDE!!! I wont say everyone but HANDS DOWN Amanda. Its bad enough you all inconvenience people with scheduling and fluctuating open and closing times. At least your managers and reps can be respectful to people when they call in. AMANDA NEEDS TO WATCH HER TONE AND MOUTH WHEN SHE TALK TO PEOPLE BECAUSE SHE DOESNT WHO SHE IS SPEAKING WITH ON THE OTRHER END OF THAT PHONE. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL SHE IS HELD ACCTOUBLE FOR THE AMMOUNT OF DISRESPECT SHE SHOED ME TODAY!!!. YOUR IN THE WRONG INDUSTRY IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH PEOPLE. AT THE END OF THE DAY THIS IS YOUR JOB AND YOU SHOULD HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR IT. Ive ALREADY ESCALTED MY COMPLAINTS TO THE GM AND IF NOTHINGS GETS DONE I WILL MAKE IT MY BUSINESS TO ESCALTE IT FURTHER!!

2021-11-27The staff are less than knowledgeable about their own facility. Had to ask a police officer to help us navigate the different parking lot they have. The staff that you interact with are rude and do not want to talk to you at all. I had to ask another customer to help me find a way out of the gate after dropping my vehicle off because the employees that were standing around refused to help me. I will never return.

2021-08-26Horrible customer service on the phone arbitration agents are very rude they will say and do Anything managers a always unavailable people are always vandalizing and tampering with cars security doesnt care. The dealers run bad cars the auctioneers are crooks. Any other auction is better than this one.
