We love the cookies here and the staff is very friendly!!
Like the other poster stated, the customer service is subpar. I was in the store around 5:30 on on 6/26/18 and the young Caucasian female was very cold towards my mother and I. The lady ahead of us was given better service and her items were appropriately bagged, while ours was literally shoved to us. I had to ask for a carry out bag as I had about 10 cookies...which were very tasty. I hope you either correct her behavior or dismiss her, otherwise we will not return and I will spread the word that certain races are not welcomed there.
I ordered one for my sons birthday and I thought it was going to be AMAZING with the way people talk about them. Well, Im dissapointed. It was very blah. Nothing stood out about it. Nothing made it great. And for $30, I expected to at least crave another bite but I didnt even want to finish the piece I had....but it was $30 so I ate it. Ive had better from the grocery store, and even made my own today for his actual birthday. He asked for seconds and to take some to school. Soooo next year, if hes still into cookie cake, Ill make his myself.
Hi there, I have always enjoyed coming into your store especially for some homemade cookies, BUT today was slightly different. Ms. Brittany had HORRIBLE customer service. She was not polite at all and when you asked a simple question like how much is a cookie slice, she would cut you off before you even finished your question. I felt like this was very unprofessional and she was just there to collect her pay check. I feel as though she needs a quick attitude adjustment. Nothing towards Great Americans Cookie, but I felt as though you should know how she treated every customer that walked in the door! Thank you for your time!
I bought a cookie for my son’s second birthday. It was so yummy. The young gentlemen that helped me was so friendly, the older lady on the other hand that rudely told him to grab the receipt from the box was not.
I have always loved GAC and when I saw this one i ran into it. All the people who work there are great and friendly and the Cookies are fresh. I am not a pretzel fan, but was hungry and decided to buy one there. It as DELICIOUS!!! I was like wow! Very buttery and salty. It melted in my mouth. Overall this place is great.
I just left this place. I gave it two stars and that was only because the sugar cookie was ok if a little bland and the pretzel bites were good. I was giving a coke and after taking a drink, I discovered it was flat. After I told them, they worked on it for a about 10 mins and then proceeded to give me another drink and told me they fixed the coke machine. When in fact they hadnt. It was still incredibly flat and tasted old. I told the girl at the counter and she said ok, sorry. And went about her business. Not even attempting to offer me something else or refund my money. I will not be returning here. Clearly customers do not come first.
The staff is great, and knowledgeable. They were able to take my information on party size and reccomend the correct size cookie, which was absolutely delicious. They are conveniently located, and I was able to place my order and pick it up after completing errands.
Normaly really good cookies and Friendly staff. The sign posting the hours of operation was hard to really hard to read due to an advertisement posted right behind it. I tried the door and it opened. All the lights were on and cookies were out. Staff was on duty but I was denied service being told they were not open yet. Why was the door unlocked for people to enter if they were not open? Really disappointed because I was looking toward to getting my favorite cookie.
Absolutely amazing! My pretzel was delicious and the kindness of the staff was even better. I am so happy to have this franchise here in Columbus and I am excited to see the growth of this business as they have open short of 2 weeks! Keep up the great work 😊
I always love GAC and the fact that Columbus finally has one makes me so happy! As always, the food was delicious, however, the staff was not very well trained yet and some were not very nice either. No matter what, I mainly go for the cookies anyways, but it could be resolved soon as it did just open. I definitely recommend going!
Had to place a last minute order, employees were very kind throughout the entire process and had the cookie cake ready in an hour and it looked fantastic and tasted just as good! Thank yall!

They ruined my entire day when they blankly stared at me and said, were out of pretzels....oh, and were out of dough, too. My disappointment in their ability to deliver on the promise of pretzels was palpable.
Cookies are decent, not excellent or horrible, but customer service lack a bit of joy, maybe it was just a bad day.
I called at the last minute and the lady that answered the phone was more than willing to accommodate my order. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! Thank you so much for helping me out!!!!!

2022-02-05Girl was sweet. Guy with the man bun was a little pushy and his tone was too authoritative for comfort with my family from the moment we approached the counter. Nonetheless, good ice cream as always. Usually a great experience. Thanks.

2022-05-15I have been twice this weekend with my kids. Friday was a pleasant experience, however the second visit today was not. Jason told me that our dog could not come inside so I waited outside while my family ordered theirs, and the card was left at the counter for me to check out when I came in and they came outside. All I asked for was a cookie, and Jason proceeded to tell me that I had to get all the way at the back of the line…for a COOKIE, something that would literally take 20 seconds, as if I had not been waiting this entire time to order. Every person in there understood that I was outside with the dog as they all passed me on their way in. His mannerisms are rude and he barely mixes the ice clean on the slab. Judging by other reviews, this place would be better off without him. And I never got my cookie. He should have allowed us to swap places before making them check out if he was going to make me wait another 20 minutes.

2022-03-19I was waited on by an employee named Jason. He was polite, helpful, organized even as he was taking orders from the front and delivery. I don’t Usually write reviews, but he is deserving of one. There are definitely young people that know how to work and have the skills to get repeat customers, Jason is one of them.

2021-08-30Management is horrific !! If I could give one star I would. The only reason why the rating is so high is because of a past owner. Had the manger yell at me because i was talking for to an employee for too long?? There has also been multiple accounts of grey hair in my food… wonder who. Great staff, Great food, needs a more friendly team member and maybe i’d purchase from this establishment again.

2021-03-07Absolutely horrible customer service. I ordered a cookie cake for a birthday. Upon picking it up and getting home, it was discovered that it was very dry and did not taste like previous cookie cakes we have ordered. We called within an hour of picking it up and were told that there was nothing they could do. They would not remake or refund.I took the cookie back to the store and expressed that I paid over $30 for something that was not edible. The manager began loudly arguing with me saying that the cookies were all the same and she cooked it this morning. She accused me of complaining in the past (I have never) about balloons being too small???? When I told her she had me mistaken with someone else she continued to accuse me.She wouldnt even try the cookie herself and said she doesnt eat them that often so she wouldnt know if it was not good. She made an employee try it and put her in a very awkward position to go against her managers opinion.She eventually remade the cookie.The cookie that was remade was far better and actually edible.

2017-09-20I have been waiting on the day the Great American Cookie Co. would make its presence in Columbus , Ga! Not only was this place so clean you could eat off the floor but the employees and owner were the nicest most genuine people you will ever meet! I have to say, I have never been more excited to eat a pretzel! Their pretzel bites were delicious! They were the perfect temperature and had the perfect texture. Having the marinara sauce to complete this was icing on the cookie! Their strawberry banana smoothie was one of the best I have had in awhile! Lastly, the cookie slice, PERFECT in every way. It was fresh, the icing tasted fresh, the cookie was not hard and not too too soft, it was just right! I would highly recommend you guys try this out for yourself, you wont be disappointed.

2021-04-20Me and my boyfriend went in to order something to drink they all looked at us like we had done something wrong then when I asked for my 2 cokes they looked at me and didnt say anything they then proceeded to ring it up but never actually rung it up she swiped me card and said that there was no customer available what does that have to do with insufficient funds. Sorry but this place has no manners
