Called to place a delivery order to 1537 Walton Way, Augusta, Ga. Was told address was out of their delivery area. Marcos Pizza is on 3513 Walton Way, Augusta, Ga. Less than six miles apart. So I ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut. It was delivered in less than 20 minutes and I enjoyed my hot meat lovers pizza.
I am a regular customer. The employees are very very nice. The employees that are working today are top notch when it comes to customer service. The employee over the phone acknowledged that I was a regular because I order often and he was so nice to me. The lady driver that came was extremely nice as well. She was smiling and they brought me plates because I normally ask for some but I forgot to ask this time. They brought it anyway because they remembered. Awesome and superb customer service. I am very pleased and the food was great.=)I changed my review because the manager that I spoke to at 1:30P.M. was rude and not professional.
Ordered medium pizza to go. Took almost 30 minutes to get my pizza. And it shouldve been piping hot. But was slightly warm. Paid $18 90 for a medium 5 topping. Wacko! Never again. Requested parmesan crust topping. My crust was plain. Service was slow, expensive and order was incorrect. Will not be going back.
I ordered an all meat pizza but instead I received an all cheese pizza. I contacted the store and they told me I had to go through DoorDash. DoorDash contacted the store and they did not answer! This is bad customer service! It seemed like they didn’t even make sure it was the right pizza they were giving my dasher! Then to not answer the phone to rectify the issue was the icing on the cake! Never again!
The pizza is good. I would rate five stars for taste.Have to give three stars for service. As each time I have gone service was not customer friendly or efficient.The last two times made it where I decided to just do without. Then not give them my business.This was not just one location. I even contacted the manager on my last experience. Was assured better service even asked to try again while asking for him.Called to speak to said manager to make sure should I go through with order this would be successful only to have no knowledge of note said to have left to others should not be there. Appeared to be same disorder experienced the initial contact.Decided not to go through such again.Simple ,organized, efficient and on time is all desired with taste and quality.
I tried to place a curbside order but it kept saying my phone number was invalid so I called to place the order. I was trying to order but the man who answered kept cutting me off asking is that anything else before I could finish my order. I tried to order 10 wings and 2 xl pizzas and a order of cinnamon squares. He told me they couldnt make that large of a order in that amount of time. The website said they close at 12 and it wasnt 11pm yet. I told him never mind and hung up because he already kept cutting me off. If you dont want to do your job then go home.
I went to this new location recently and i had great customer service. The pizza was great as usual. The only thing i can say negative is they mistakenly gave me a medium pizza instead of a large but the manager was great! He was apologetic and refunded me for the inconvenience. He was professional and seemed like he liked to make the work place fun for his staff! i will be returning...
The location on Walton way ext was the pick up location I went to for a carry out pizza. They had a great special going which included a free medium pizza which is always nice. Plus the staff was very nice and helpful. They had my order ready very quickly too. Im sure Ill be back!
Called. Was on hold for 6 minutes. Placed my order for pick up. Was told it would take 15 minutes. Here i am sitting outside the store waiting for my single large cheese pizza about 45 minutes later..... dont even know if the pizza tastes good but come on. Its not even a holiday or special event day. There is no excuse for this
Being eyeing it for a while, needed a break for the heavy holiday foods ...First time eating here today. Fresh, soft, buttery, garlicky crust and overall dough, cooked just right..warm, tasty ingredients. I got a large pizza, half Pepperoni and half White Cheese and added sausage to it. Surpassed all of my expectations. Please remain consistent, and I will be a customer for life.
On hold for 5 minutes than hung up on. Called back and it took 10 minutes to order because I had a store credit. Got to the store to pick up and the order was wrong. Not recommend. Go order your pizza there or you may have to wait another 20 minutes to get your order. The owner needs to have a serious conversation with their employees.
I asked for mild wings apparently but I got buffalo apparently they don’t have mild which she could’ve told me before I purchased when I asked if they could change it then she said they’ll have to charge me again. Horrible customer service I honestly don’t get it. What do people get in return of being rude, if you hate your job don’t take it out on the customers smh
The second time ever ordering here was a disaster. I placed an ahead order. When I showed up they tried to give me another unpaid order. I explained my order and someone else insisted it was my order. I retrieved my confirmation number and they found my order. After looking on his screen, the guy with unwashed, ungloved hands walks back and grabs two pizzas sitting open and uncovered from a high shelf and places them in the oven.During my wait, one person was sleeping in the corner, one, the cashier, just followed the pizza maker around the whole time, neither wore gloves nor washed hands between stations, and another walked around without cleaning hands, too. Of all the employees, I saw only one prepping food with gloves.When my pizza finished, they boxed it and gave me my order, without my salad. I requested my salad. When I got home, all the sauces were missing and there were small chunks of sausage on my vegetarian pizza, which tells me they have crossover in the food prep area.Very disappointed. Will not return.
We prefer New York style pizza...which this is not, but the flavor was really great! Perfect crust (original), yummy sauce and they didnt put too much or too little of all the toppings. Price is great - not sure why some said it was too expensive? Med is definitely small for all who wonder but then again we are used to New York style. Not impressed with the wings at all but didnt dissapoint so much to knock down a star, we just wont order them again. Customer service seemed great and delivered quickly. Oh and I always judge a place by their salads...thats the five star salad I expect when I order food! Thank you so much!Edit: one year later and I still enjoy the service and food! We have had a couple of quality check issues but they always apologize and try to make it right. Keep up the great work!
My wife is gluten, nut and onion intolerant. When I explained this to the young man running the register he assured me that they would be able to handle it.After I payed, I stood and watched as he went, himself, washed his hands, put gloves on, and began to prepare the pizza.Needless to say the pizza, as always, was great! Even better than that, though, was the fact that my wife was able to enjoy a good pizza without getting sick!Thank you MARCOS, for another great experience!
Ordered 2 pizza and cheeses bread on line. When I went to track my order said it was delivered. I looked at my order I put my next door neighbors address by mistake. Called the store said driver wasnt back yet. And that they would call when they got back it to see if they returned with it. My daughter went up there about 10 minutes later never received call and she said there wasnt any delivery cars in lot. We live about 5 minutes from the Marcos. She went in and asked if the driver was there yet with the pizzas said driver wansnt back and that they would give up the bread free,but we had to pay for the 2 pizzas again. While waiting they asked the driver if they actually delivered to a person is WAS NOT CONTACTLESS DELIVERY the responses I only delivery pizzas. What the heck. A person cant remember a delivery that they just made.Needless to say no more Marcos. Very disappointed .
Ordered my food online for pick up. My order was ready a little earlier than promised. The guy who waited on me was super nice & polite. However, I had 2 minor issues with my order. 1st I ordered my wings well done, and they were far from it. It seemed as it they were removed from the freezer & warmed in the microwave. The wings were barely warm & mushy. Also I order a family sized salad, which I always do and was only given one dressing packet for a salad that feeds four. That was my fault because I should have checked the bag prior to leaving. The salad was still excellent as always though.
This is the place you want to go if you like being ignored! Waited in store for 30 minutes for our pizza that turned out to be sitting right there! Completely cold. Did the cashier check to get the name right? No. Did anyone else in the store acknowledge we existed? No. No hello, ask how we are doing, nothing. And their remedy for the situation they created? “We can make you another one.” Wow, how generous! I left a horrible review with the Marco’s feedback and got NOTHING back from them. This establishment does not care! The one on Fury’s Ferry Rd is MUCH better. Never had a problem with them. This one on Walton Way Ext. is much closer to our home but we will never use it again. Please save yourself time and headache and do not order from here.UPDATE: I did let you know on your feedback form just after the incident and received no response.
Sounds like everyone at this location is high when ordering. Ordering is an extreme exercise in patience. Order has been wrong more than a dozen times. Really wish our Marcos branch could be Furys Ferry like it used to be.And again 1.25.19 ... Shame on me for trying again! No one cares about the survey if nothing changes. Why can’t someone pay more attention to detail!! Free small pizza every time the order is messed up!? Are you kidding me!? Fix it.
Yeah.. never having tried Marco’s, and with a new location opening up relatively close, we thought we’d give it a try. Looking over their mailed menu, we thought their prices were comparatively high, but after all,.. advertised as “gourmet”, so we went for it to check ‘em out. Was not impressed at all. First of all, if you’re charging SIXTEEN DOLLARS for a MEDIUM sized pizza, it better knock our socks off, or at least meet or beat the competition.. and in our opinion, both failed. In addition, SURPRISE!.. there’s an automatic, UN-advertised charge of $2.75 for delivery. So when you add the pie price, plus tax, plus the delivery charge..you’re now at TWENTY-TWO dollars for a MEDIUM pizza!!!! That just nuts. And in the end, it really didn’t stand out from any one else. We’d gotten the cinnamon-squares too, and all I could think was , mann.. I wish I could get away with selling a hunk of pizza dough with a LITTLE! sugar and cinnamon and get away with nearly $5 each. We most likely will never order from them again.. Not BAD food,.. but definitely not a good value by any means.
The employees are not required to wear gloves while handling the food? This is not a company requirement? Sorry, this doesnt make any sense to me. Some of the employees assembling pizzas were touching appliances, equipment, prep tables and scraps of toppings from the tables with bare hands! In this climate of health consciousness, this seems highly inappropriate. The only reason why the star was awarded was for the employee who was polite in our interactions. Will not be making purchases at Marcos at Walton Way Ext. in Augusta, GA again.
This Marcos wasn’t the best, when I walked in I noticed the cook was making pizzas WITHOUT GLOVES. The pizza was supposed to be half and half, but the toppings were thrown all over and I couldn’t figure out which was half sausage and which was half beef. Last but not least they don’t deliver to the medical center.

2022-06-25I am not sure what has happened at this location. I have been a loyal customer for awhile but my most recent experience has made me never want to eat at this location again. For starters, I attempted to have my order delivered the day prior only to be told that my delivery order was too small to be delivered but this same order was delivered recently without issue. So today I decided to order for carry out and was confused when the price quoted was much higher than anticipated as it was the same order that a day prior I was told did not meet the minimum delivery requirements. I was quoted an unbelievably quick time for my order to be ready, 5 to 10 mins to be exact. I am concerned at how quick this pizza was prepared and I also noticed that one side of the pizza was not even sliced. Additionally, the staff has put handwritten signs on the door stating, CASH ONLY and NO DOOR DASH orders. When questioned about the cash only sign, I was told that both of the front cash readers were broken. I am very concerned and dismayed at the declined of what was once my favorite pizza place!!! :(

2022-07-20Marcos is one of the best pizza restaurants in Augusta , earlier we ordered the Chicken Fresco extra sauce and it tasted and smelled amazing. the delivery driver was very courteous as well. If you want a hot and tasty pizza give Marcos a try.

2022-07-03Not sure what happened had always been our go to spot everything use to be on point! Our first time back in a while but pizza is extremely dry little to no sauce! Dont know if its because of a bunch of younger people are working in the evenings or you guys are just cutting back but unacceptable! Dont mind paying for great service and food but also we have to drive across town for the pizza we are die hard marcos pizza fans didnt give it less than 3 stars due to this is the first bad experience we have had in 4 years but just need you guys to open your eyes and see whats going on again price is not a factor just need the quality!

2022-08-12I was hesitant at first about ordering a pizza from here due to the poor reviews, but I decided to give it a chance. Wow, the biggest mistake of my life. I specifically asked for my pizza to be well done and it wasnt. All of the toppings were just thrown on there. This was my first time visiting this location and I will NEVER, EVER buy pizza from this location again. I may be switching back over to Pizza Hut...I ate at the one in Atlanta (Duluth) location and became hooked on Marcos, but after this experience. I will never eat here again.Although the young lady gladly accepted the uncooked pizza and stated she would remake it personally to make sure I get what I paid for, I shouldnt have had to bring back an uncooked PIZZA!!!!
