Dam it’s already sad that when I order delivery it’s never on time or I have to call and check on it and come to find out they haven’t started it yet. Now it’s even happening for my pick up. It said my order will be ready at 838 so I got there at 838. They had me pull around twice through the drive through because it wasn’t ready then had me park in the parking lot all because they gave my pizza to someone else. It’s always something and not to mention they never give you a coupon or anything when they make mistakes like this. It’s now 9:07 and I just received my pizza
I have never been a big fan of Pizza, until one day my daughter introduced me to the Barbecue Chicken Pizza. Ive now visited Marcos Pizza several times and ordered the Barbecue Chicken Pizza every time. Customer service is beyond excellent and the establishment is clean. I plan to continue patronizing Marcos Pizza.
Hinesville desperately needs to give their fast food workers a math and reading test before being employed. My order number is/was carry out #442, time 9:13 p.m. I ordered 15 wings with double lemon pepper with a side of ranch, instead I get 10 wings...but wait theres morrrre...they dont have any lemon pepper, not a drop. They are plain, plain as a blank sheet of paper; I didnt even get any ranch. So to whoever you are that stole my money and kidnapped my wings and didnt even bother to season the rest of them..🖕🏾🖕🏾
We ordered at 4:45 on a Monday evening, got told 45 minutes. Normal order of a pizza and sides. After over an hour we called and were told the order was ready and waiting on a driver. At 6:35, just shy of 2 hours later and an hour after we were told our order was ready, were told its *just* leaving and will be 15 minutes... so we waited 2hours for dinner to arrive late and over an hour old of sitting on the counter.
Ordered a simple XL cheese pizza w/ butter garlic crust yesterday in store. Got home with the pizza and it had a regular crust. I called back and spoke with one of the cashiers about it. I started to explain the issue to her and before you know it someone else is on the phone without her letting me know that she was gonna transfer me to the manager. The manager then proceeds to tell me that I can bring the pizza back for them to add the sauce.I’ve been getting pizza from this location for months without issue and this was the first time I’ve had an issue. Earlier in the day I got the same pizza from a Marcos in Savannah and it was delicious. Apparently this location can’t get it right.
I ordered pizza to be delivered at 2 pm at 12:15 pm. The Oder will not arrive until 2:15. I asked why they didn’t call to let me know it was going to be late the manager said they only had 2 people working. What does that have to do with anything if I ordered my pizza 2 hours in advance. It’s common courtesy to let people know it won’t be delivered on time. If your short staff don’t tell the customer fix it. It’s lunch time why do you only have one store person and one driver. That’s a manager issue not a customer issue. NO EXCUSES FOR A CURTESY CALL!2/29/2020I was trying to give Marcos another try and ordered a pizza at 1:45 it’s almost 3:40 now and I had to once again call to check an see where my pizza was. I got a text saying it’s on it’s way you can’t text that your order will take 2 hours to deliver. I like the pizza but this delivery service is no good.
We always love Marcos and when they opened we use to get delivery, but we moved to Midway so now we do carry out. Normally really good, but this time we decided to use the online 50% off any pizza. Ordered online as instructed and ordered two pizzas, but it wouldnt honor the coupon. Asked the manager at the store and she told me she can see the order, but nothing she can do to correct the order to add the coupon. Honestly, this is not acceptable that a manager cant make it right on the spot, so the customer leaves happy. Instead, I was a loyal customer, but now Im unhappy because an advertised coupon should had been honored.
Im a very angry right now. My family and I had family game night last Friday. We ordered Marcos pizza. I used my credit card to pay for the order. I did no contact so I left cash tip in a plastic bag outside on my steps for the driver. Monday morning I checked my bank account. It had a $15 inflation of charge for the pizza. I called and asked what happened. Why was I getting charged $15 extra for my order. Apparently the driver decided to give himself/herself an additional tip. All this being said be watchful of your credit cards when you do payments for your orders here. I can not imagine how many other people this driver has done this to.
Will not buy pizza here again. Ordered at 12:10, delivery time 12:51, did not receive my pizza till 1:37? Did not get a good explanation or a sorry we are running behind which I would have understood. Just a 15 more minutes and then she is on her way. I will stick to Papa Johns for now.
Did a online ...use to be a big FAN!...until my order was wrong....I called to let them know about it and was put on hold for mins. until the manager Eric came on I explained to him what my problem was with the order, instead of him offering to remake or refund me he asked what did I want him to do?.....I said nothing! Because at this point I was mad!...and as much as I like Marcos I will not be ordering from there anymore
Living here 30 years, Ive never visited Marcos when they came to the area. Several weeks ago, they had some Marcos Pizza at an event we had, and it tasted pretty good, and thought I give them a try tonight.When I called to order, the call was picked up, and kicked directly to hold. I was not greeted, nothing was said, just picked up and kicked to hold. After a few minutes a girl comes on and says hello. I said I like to order a couple of pizzas. Someone said something to her, and she kicked the call back to hold without saying anything else.Needless to say, I had my pizza, but it was not from Marcos. Pizza may be good, but poor customer service drove me into the arms of a competitor.
We are from Philly and we know great pizza and we’ve eaten from many pizza places since being down South and they weren’t bad at all but not like Philly not even close. The first time we ate from Marcos pizza my husband and I both said this taste like Philly pizza seriously they must be from Philly because it is exactly how Philly pizza taste and I’m so serious. After trying them for the first time they are our go to for pizza they are absolutely the best pizza place down south they belong up north we are happy that y’all have gave us that Philly pizza not just calling it Philly but y’all have managed to make it taste like Philly! KUDOS
I’ve called four times today once around 12:30 no one would answer and I was on hold for 15 minutes second call was at 1:30 ish and still same thing happened then I called at 3 and finally got an answer and it was girls screaming no don’t answer and then they hanged up the call so I called again and someone else answered and it was the manger which was extremely rude, I get teenagers need jobs but hire and train better because it’s the same complaints.
If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would but I cant. The pizza itself is pretty nice, its not so greasy like Papa John or Dominos. It was enjoyable to eat and I got a large 2 topping but I was able to put like 4 toppings on it (chicken,peppers,mushroom,spinach) for $11.23 yes please!!!!! The downside was that i got it half and half but accidentaly got chicken on my veggie half.
I will admit Marco’s pizza does taste good, that is if you can get it delivered. When I first ordered, the expected delivery time was a hour and fifteen minutes, it’s a long time for pizza, but it’s ok, I stick with the order. Well, the hour and fifteen minutes has passed and still no pizza, so I checked the tracker and it now says I have to wait another 45 minutes to a hour. Complete nonsense. So, I call to figure what is going on with my order, I spoke to two different people before being transferred to the manager. The manager is completely rude and unapologetic to how long it is taking, eventually says they will give me a credit for next time, at this point I’m so irritated, I say there probably won’t be a next time. She simply said ok and hung up the phone, next thing I see, my order had been canceled. I will never order from Marco’s again. They have the worst possible customer service!!!
Poorly managed, little kids playing where the food is prepared unsupervised. I cant imagine what could have been in my pizza if i had ordered my usual( walked out) Certainly Needs new management not the first time ive witnessed this. Not sanitary in those conditions. I love the pizza there but I dont mind a substitute until they can solve the issue and put someone in there who cares about the companys image and quality of priduct being sold to us.
The pizza is good but the prices are a bit steep and the customer service in the store leaves a lot to be desired. I have been standing at the counter for 10 mins and not been acknowledged on previous visits. Then asked bluntly what do you want. Im used to brisk and blunt attitudes and speech so I was not horribly offended but it was very unprofessional and I was taken aback a bit. If your on CQ, Staff Duty or ordering out then, ok but if you go in to the store dont expect to be treated very well.
I ordered my lunch today and usually receive great service. There was someone there today that Id never seen before. A young Caucasian woman was assisting me and I informed her that there was a large truck blocking the drive thru. Ater rolling her eyes at me, I informed her that it was an inconvenience to her customers, to which she again rolled her eyes. She threw my food at me and I said, youre not done, there are 2 sodas with that order. She responded I was being rude and said there should be 4. No mention of my total when I was checking out and had it not been for her ineptitude, i would have been charged twice for my food. Fortunately, the young woman I normally see came over and assisted me. I thanked her for HER help and left. If this is the type of customer service, Marcos puts up with, my business can be taken elsewhere.
Food was decent. I had to wait 2 hours to have it delivered quite a bit more than the 40-60 minutes I was told it would be delivered. Called asking when my food would get here and was not given any help. It was just one sandwich. I should’ve walked to subway and saved myself $10.
Marcos has become my go-to pizza place in hinesville. Im outside the delivery area but the online ordering and carry out options are good and the convenient location makes it easy to grab after work on my way home. Make sure you sign up for the club, because the rewards and discounts are actually pretty good
Ordered my food at 6:45. Called Marcos at 7:32 I was told the pizza was on the way. It is now 8:54 and I just cancelled the order. I hate giving bad reviews but its a common courtesy if your going to be 3 hrs late either stop taking orders until you catch up or if you are short on personnel conduct carryout only. This is not a good look for a business that just got here.
All you folks complain about del.Try driving in and ordering from the counter live.The staff sugestive sells and are very helpfull when you are confused about custom pies.My order is always fresh and as I asked for.Marcos does a great job and has a great product.Feel free to disagree if you can do it respectfully.
The pizza is delicious, but I hate it and cringe when the gentleman with the long facial hair makes my pizza. Yes, Ive made mention of this to a cashier and manager before. Im always afraid that I will find hair in my pizza.The managerial staff should really encourage him to wear a facial net (as they do in the delis in Walmat, Sams Club, or Publix). Its really unsanitary to see people with facial hair or long hair and dirty uniforms handling food. Im shocked that these issues have not been recognized by the managerial staff or the department of health.
HORRIBLE customer service. After setting delivery, order miraculously chaged to carry out on 2 seperate occasions. Store made no attempt to contact me about the change (the reason being construction was going on in the parking lots and they couldnt get in, despite every other delivery service having no issue making it to my door). Took my money and my pizza as i had no way to pick up. Garbage.

I ordered two pizzas that were over 25 dollars, and one didn’t hardly have any cheese on it. I called the manager at the store and he got nasty with me. I told him I was willing to bring the pizza back, yet he acted rude and immature. The pizza is expensive, and it’s not that good, and there is poor service.
I placed my order at 12: 30 😅 and they just now updated the site saying its not even being prepared yet!!!! Its now 1:42 and Ill get it by 2:30!! This is insane! I will never order from here again and will warn others about this poor service. I wish I didnt pay for it at all.
Not so good customer service. Just tried to call and place an order, waited about 5 minutes for someone to ask me to hold, waited on hold for another 10 min then was hung up on. Tried to call back several times only for the phone to ring 3 or 4 times then call disconnects. This was the 2nd day in a row that I was placed on hold and for whatever reason wasnt able to speak with a employee to place an order. Guess its Pizza Hut or Papa Johns. Wish the owner knew he or she was losing business due to employees not properly taking incoming phone calls or negligent.
Whenever I come into marcos I am always greeted with a big smile. Paris welcomes me in and makes sure that I get everything that I came for. She tells me hi and really makes me feel happy that this is the place I chose to eat. I’ve been coming to marcos for a little over a year now and she’s the only one who has made me feel this way.
Pizza is okay. The facility is dirty really dirty and the location is shared with the hospital pharmacy so your surrounded with sick people everywhere waiting for meds. They take up the seating for the pizza customers. Its not an ideal business location.It is hot in the dining area 80 + very uncomfortable.
The manager, (Michael Herrington I believe is the name) was very rude via telephone upon our phone conversation. I placed an online order to be picked up at 6:00pm. I called to make a minor adjustment to my order and he informed me at 5:30pm, my order was already done and could not be adjusted. I specifically placed my order for 6:00pm so It would be done closer to that time and not 30 minutes before, meaning that it will just be sitting for 30 minutes. The purpose of making my pick up time 6:00pm was to avoid my food from just sitting. I nicely asked why my order was done 30 minutes early if I specifically stated that it will be picked up at 6:00pm. He stated, We are backed up and short on drivers, and even though its not your problem, Im still letting you know. I kindly asked my Herrington to reconsider adjusting my order, seeing that I am a loyal paying customer and he told me no. I understand there is a procedure that must be followed, however, this manger was not costumer service oriented at all and lacked all fields of trying to contain my business. I then asked for a corporate number and he informed me there is no corporate office and that the store is franchise. I understand that concept, as I have worked for a franchise business in the past, but upon telling me that, he laughed over the phone like the situation was funny to him. No care in the world. Being a prior service member and now a contractor for the military, the customer service I was shown today is highly unacceptable. It definitely makes me reconsider sending this particular facility any further business.
Its pretty bad that this location just opened and your employees already sound like they dont want to take your order over the phone. Never have I had someone Sigh and say I guess when I asked to make an order for pick up. Probably the last time we will order from here.
Dont get me wrong they have amazing pizza but they customer service omg sucks sooooo bad be on the look out for a girl name Chantell she was soooo disrespectful and rude curse me in front of my daughter while her boss was on the phone she just didnt care. And from there it went down hill so i got my money from another girl and as i was leaving a lady came out behind me telling me this wasnt the 1st time she acted like that so im goin over whoever i have to because i feel like if ur a manger u suppose to show respect and not only did u disrespect me in front of my baby girl but in front of everyone else that was there with their families. Order a XL pizza light sauce extra cheese butter garlic sauce crust didn’t get that the pizza had a crazy amount of pizza sauce and the crust was totally hard and burnt.... call the manager she wants me to drive there with a pizza to add sauce to the crustWhy would I want to drive back there with a pizza already ruined to add sauce to the crust and drive back home so your saying I should eat cold pizza instead of offering a credit or remaking the pizza you want me to bring the pizza back to add sauce to it......poooor customer service I won’t be back
Make sure you check your order on their website, do not just go by your confirmation email. My email said it would be delivered at 6pm and when I checked online it wasn’t even being made at 5 minutes til. Then the woman who answered couldn’t even understand the issue and did nothing to try to fix it. Had to call back three times just for her to understand me.
Called at 932 for delivery...had a long day wanted some good eats and they say not taking anymore delivery...really.....shame on you guys ...and Ill definitely not recommend you to any of our company or army buddies.....very disappointing....and customer service....they definitely need to send there workers that answer the phones to a manners class......so upsetting

Today I ordered some pizza from there I specifically told them no tomatoes on the pizza they put Tomatoes all over the pizza and it wasnt even like how I asked it to be like then we call him after we got the pizza and they say okay were going to give you another Pizza we wait an hour then we called a place and they said the lady that made it couldnt see and they said they were going to give me a free pizza I still hate this place I will always hate this
Was in on November 27 2016 at 450pm the cashier had head phones in his ears and had a horrible attitude towards me and my wife as well when I went to the so call manager on duty to ask for the gm info wouldnt give it to me and my,wife as well gave run around with info to,contact someone in charge horrible

2022-06-12They continue to take an excessive amount of orders rather than telling customers that they are unable to fulfill an order within a specified time. Based on reviews this is not a new issue, yet the practice continues. I wanted to reward some students who had excelled academically. The school is 1.3 miles away, but students waited 1.5 hours beyond the promised time for pizza that was NOT DELIVERED. Never again will I patronize or recommend this business.Your standard one-size-fits-all response is worth nothing compared to the disappointment of eleven hard-working third graders

2022-03-13Stopped in from out of town because I’ve had Marco’s before. Dude with the man bun was a jerk. When I walked up he and someone else were near the register on wireless devices and in the way of other employees actually working. He was very condescending to other employees a couple of times just while I was waiting for my order. My receipt didn’t print and without even looking at me said it wouldn’t print for some reason. (Never heard of a business that couldn’t reprint a receipt). He yelled to someone in the back of the store (unprofessional). He proceeded to stand at the register and do seemingly nothing. A car pulled up and he looked at the person and proceeded to walk to back of store completely ignoring the customer. A pizza for a pickup order finished and a nice young lady was going to call the customer, he told her not to. He said to her, “did you hear me”? Overall, rude.

2022-01-02My family and I have gotten pizza from then for over a year now and the last two orders have been over an hour later than promised. This time I order delivery and they sent the wrong pizza instead of bringing my the correct pizza and collecting the incorrect one they had me come to the store to return the incorrect pizza and then took another 30 minutes to make the correct one I paid an extra $4 for delivery plus tip to the driver but still had to go to the store just to get the one pizza I ordered

2021-12-15I completely understand that business are facing staff shortages. Please display accurate estimated delivery times! While ordering, it stated up to a 54 min wait time when it took over two hours for cold food in which I paid a delivery fee and tipped! Had it displayed a more accurate wait time, I would have chosen to pick it up myself or decline all together. Stop deceiving your customers, transparency would be respected more.

2022-01-25Ordered the philly steak pizza bowl. It was pretty good, but the price is somewhat expensive. Of course what isnt nowadays. If you are on keto friendly diet, i would recommend.

2021-10-22While the pizza was, and always is, good, this was the second time that we ordered pizza and it was delivered way past the original delivery time. For example, we ordered the pizza at 4:35 and was expected to recieve it at 5:15. The receipt wasnt even printed until 5:24. The pizza did not arrive until approximately 6:20. I understand that there is a shortage of workers, but if you dont have a driver to deliver, then dont allow delivery orders. There was no update either time about their driver problem, had to hear that from the driver. These drivers are working hard enough to cover your managements slack and having to deal with potentially irate customers because the management doesnt have courtesy for their customers or staff apparently.

2021-10-03Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I ordered a coupon deal that included two large pizzas, breadsticks and a 2 liter drink. I sent my husband out to grab the order..he returned without the two liter. I called the store and I assume the young lady transferred me to the manager. He told me that it was “on my husband because he should have known what he ordered” EXCUSE ME?! Blamed the customer. Lol. He told me he’d refund me the $2 for the Mountain Dew. I told him thank you…and he just hung up. Sorry excuse for a manager.

2021-06-06I was enamored with this entire experience with Marcos Pizza. I had no issues while placing my specialty items order. Other places always give me issues when just adding extra sauce. It is ironic because we order from Marcos at least 5 to 7 times a month, but we almost decided to try another pizza place. Ha,I think not. The other place didnt even answer the phone and when they did I couldnt tell if they were talking to me or someone else. When I called my favorite place, Marcos Pizza they promptly answered with a warm and pleasant greeting. The person who took my order was very knowledgeable and ready to assist with me with ordering and using my coupon. He even greeting me by my name, which made it a friendlier experience. I never have had such an enjoyable experience in my 40 year Pizza eating life. When I went to pick it up in the accurate quoted time. I was promptly greeted with a warm smile. I had no issues at the curbside pickup and was given plates and napkins. Once home with my pizza, the family was able to enjoy hot, delicious, perfect topped speciality pizza. Marcos is the best pizza place around hands down. Shout out to the the Hinesville, Ga Marcos Pizza staff at store 8064. 06.04. 2021. Thank you so much for doing what you do and making me a Marcos Pizza lover life.
