Codi (spelling?) Is freaking awesome! I had an order that was messed up several weeks ago, was told by a shift lead I would be refunded...and wasnt! Called to speak a real manager and got Codi. She was thorough with the research, polite, very warm and welcoming and handled everything. Thanks Codi and thanks to the owners for finally getting a manager that knows how to handle business 💜
My husband placed and order tonight and we got a steak and cheese sub with NO mushrooms and Italian sub. We asked that they did not ring the doorbell. The order came and they rang the doorbell, checked the order and the steak and cheese sub had mushrooms and tomatoes. So we called and complained. They sent a new sub out. However when my husband was eating his sub he found a hair between the bread and meat. . I wanted to vomit.
We called because we wanted to pick up our order. Someone picked up and said something really fast and we suddenly realized we were on hold. After being on hold for 20 minutes we actually arrived at the store in person. It wasnt busy at all and staff could have cared less that we had been waiting on hold for 20 minutes. The attitude was like why are you telling me this. Disappointing because the food is good. Just need staff that cares a little bit.Then 40 minutes to get the order after being told 10 minutes. You can tell the place is disorganized by listening to the chaos I. The back room.
I ordered 2 of their hot deals pizza which was 1 topping for 6.99. When I got my order it was 10.74 each. I called and spoke with the manager and she said ( Im sorry there is shei can do since I ordered online) and it does that sometimes. What in the entire hell... I also ordered their new pizza bowl and it was super saucy and not enough ingredients. I will not be ordering from this place anymore
If you want tasty pizza this is a good place which is why Im giving 3 stars.My issue(s) with Marcos is theyre constantly messing up my order despite giving them 1-2 hour advance notification of exactly what I want. However, my children enjoy their pizza which is why I patron this establishment. In addition, they appear to have a very inexperienced staff that results in very long waiting times. So if you have issues with your order you end up waiting just longer to get it corrected unfortunately!In the end, there arent very many good pizza spots in Powder Springs so proceed with caution.
Food is good. In store customer service is good. But dont dare to call for delivery. I have called LITERALLY 10 times back to back. The first seven times, I received the fax tone and the last three sounds like someone picked up and muted their end. And its ONLY 9:50pm. Horrible
This location is very unprofessional and has horrible customer service. The young staff is untrained on how to handle customers demands in a reasonable time. TODAY I called literally 11 times... where employees have sent me to the fax machine, on hold, or didnt answer at all. Only ONCE a staff member asked me to hold and took over 5 minutes to pick up the phone so I didnt not wait. Once again this location is a complete 100% disappointment. I tried to give this place another chance after being disappointed so many times and writing a review (without any management contacting me, upon my request), this is the last time. NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN will I spend my money there!
So I have ordered from here three times and two of the three times have been miserable experiences. This has to be one of the most poorly managed business I have ever dealt with. This particular time I order a delivery and they told me it would be 45 min. I waited 90 minutes and called to have them tell me the pizza was just now going into the oven. After speaking with the manger all she had to say was they got really busy. Obviously I cancelled my order and ordered from Pizza Hut picking up a hot and fresh pizza in 20 minutes for half the price. On top of all that they charge $3 for a delivery fee in addition to the overinflated prices. You would think at their prices they could send supervisors to some management, leadership and customer service training. My suggestion, fire all current management and hire some competent personnel to run this store. I will never try to order from them again and will steer whoever will listen away from Marcos. For their sake I hope this is a local problem and not their typical business model.
This was our first time ordering. We are huge pizza eaters and this is hands down our new favorite! The pizza is amazing , the chicken dippers and cheese bread is phenomenal!I have to say they need to pay more attention to the types of sauces requested and changes to salads. But thats an easy fix.We will be back
Ordered a pizza at 5:30. Was told it would be delivered in about 30 minutes. Called an hour later to check the status of delivery and was told it would be another 17 minutes for delivery. Unexceptionable!Edit: pizza was finally delivered cold and soggy. Tried to call and speak to manager. Received no acceptable resolution.
Upon my food being delivered, I realized that they forgot some things I ordered. I called them to talk to them about it, and a girl answered, I believe her name was Tatiana maybe. She told me that she would just refund me for the stuff i didnt get. I told her no, that I wanted what I had paid for. I didnt spend $80 on food for my family just to be refunded. She was then very rude, told me it would be delivered within 20 minutes and hung up on me. That was very unprofessional. They need a course in customer service.Update: they still didnt bring me the right things.
I placed an order for delivery today with an estimated delivery time of 8:50. I called the store because my order was still showing in “prep.” Manager told me deliveries were backed up and that it would be an additional 30 minutes. She then proceeded to say that the delivery driver was leaving now with my order. 40 minutes later and I still haven’t received my order, nor is anyone answering my calls.
This is the third time I have been to this pizza place, first time my order was correct. However the last time I was here they have messed up my order. Put me down for free cinnamon bread well needless to say they couldnt find my name how convenient and I ordered again was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Guess what got here and they didnt complete my order so I get to sit and wait another 15-20 minutes. Day manager was sitting beside me and the made my order complimentary she was so nice so for that they get 5 stars.
I placed an order online. After placing the order I received a call from the location. I called right back 1 minute later (screenshot) only to get someone’s personal cell phone telling me that it happens sometimes with the phones and to call the store back. I finally got a hold of the store and was told that because I didn’t answer…my order was cancelled even though when I called right back the phones were “mixed up” . They could’ve handled this way better.
Typically you used to see these on road trips attached to sketchy looking gas stations, etc. They are one of the top budding franchises currently. They took over in the Kroger shopping center what used to be a dollar store. The atmosphere inside is very nice. Several tvs playing football games and plenty of seating for a small building. The young man taking my order was having a rough day....he could not figure out the concept of half cheese and half pepperoni pizza. Luckily, I think to be one of the owners, was able to help him out. I call that growing pains but not a reflection of the business itself. The pizza came out superb. I am a Chicago native and a harsh pizza critic. I do not like cardboard NY style pizza or pizzas with weak sauces and crusts. These guys are doing it right. Cheese is good quality, meat was good, sauce was flavorful. This has become my new local favorite pizza joint, overtaking Jets.
Love this place! The pizza is amazing, friendly staff, super nice atmosphere. Their low-carb thin crust pizza is awesome and so is their regular dough pizza! Weve had both.The salads there are super fresh and really good. Cant say enough good things about this place...well be going back soon!
On election day, while my kids were home, I called as soon as this restaurant opened, to place an order for one cheese pizza and one cheesy bread. I was told that it would take about 35 minutes to arrive. An hour and 15 minutes later, I was informed the order had not arrived. I called the place for 15 minutes straight, because there was no answer. The manager tells me that right after I ordered, about 18 orders came in, so they were busy. He gave me 50% off the ordered, but I am still dissatisfied with their overall response. I cannot understand how orders that came in behind mine delayed my order. It has now been an hour and 45 minutes and the food has still not arrived.
My lunch group has ordered from Marcos multiple times since they are close to our job. The past two times the service has been awful! The first time, I looked past the ridiculous delivery time and incorrect order but today was unacceptable. When my order was finally delivered, it was not correct. I called the location to speak with the manager and Dave (the manager) was completely rude and disrespectful. He acknowledged the fact that the order was wrong but he offered no solution.
Let me tell you something about Marcos Pizza in Powder Springs! This is the most bomb pizza youll ever have to side of GA, I could be exaggerating but WOW! Really,really good pizza!02/24/2021So sthe post above still stands and I hope I can keep it that way but I ordered pizza from them last night and it wasnt done all the way. I got through a slice and realized that I was eating dough and not just cheese. And to be honest my last interaction with the people there wasnt the best either, they got a lot of young people working in there that dont really care about customer service. Or a baking the pizza all the way through apparently.
Totally disappointed with my entire order today.. 1st my barbecue thin crust was delivered all a mess inside the box! 2nd first time I have ever order a salad turns out theres a HAIR in it!!!! Totally grossed out! Will definitely think twice next time before I crave pizza again if I should give them another chance. Thanks to Rose for trying to make it better but point is this is not the 1st time my pizza gets delivered like that.
My husband called in an order, where he was told it would only take 30 min. He went to pick it up 40 min later and they didnt place the order. He was told it would be ready in 15 minutes and would be comped with a compliments salad. 30 minutes later hes told there isnt any lettuce available. When we finally got thw pizza, it was bland and flavorless. Management was polite but never ordering from here again.
Some months in the past they were good (weve been on a diet), but today was terrible. Ingredients we paid for were not on the pizza and when we called and asked for the manager to encourage that the staff needed training, she hung up on my wife who was being very nice about it. Today was not a good day for Marcos staff and management at this location.
They delivered my order 4 times before they got it correct. The level of incompetence was ridiculous a s there was NO MANAGER on site at All. This was definitely one of of my top 5 WORST pre-ordering food experiences of my entire life. What took the cake, was the fact that the order was SIMPLE. 1 MED Pep, extra sauce, well done, cut well and 1 Supreme, cut in squares, thin crust. BASIC MENU items, and it took 4 different deliveries, 6 calls to the location, speaking with 4 different people, for them to get it right. NEVER AGAIN.
The person that made my pizza looked like the just through handful of cheese on it.If I had have asked for extra cheese I probably wouldnt have gotten it. The big turnoff was seeing employees dealing with my food and their pants hanging down exposing their underwear very unprofessional only one person washed their hands. First and last time going to that Marco.
I literally never write reviews but the customer service I received at Marcos today - I had to share. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. The best customer service Ive received in a really long time - from the entire staff!! Also the pizza was really great! Ill definitely be back and recommend this Marcos to anyone!❤
My family has ordered from this Marcos since they have been in the area, we usually have excellent experiences here until 5/18. Our last order was delivered incorrectly and I called to let them know, the manager said that she could either send another one out or place a credit on our account for the large 3 topping pizza, we chose to have them credit our pizza, I called in last night to place an order for 3 pizzas for my family and was going to apply said credit to the order. I called in and was told there was no credit on the account, and there was nothing she could do other than get a Manager, I said that would be fine I will speak with a manager then. After holding for too long a young lady who came on the line this is the manager I said who am I speaking with and she again said this is the manager I asked her name which was a very hard question for her for some reason (as well as the name of the girl who answered the phone or the owners name other than Chris) but eventually received Zaynav. Went over the situation with her and she said that since there is no credit on the account there is nothing she can do, I asked who I needed to speak to to resolve the issue and she said I can get you to someone higher up - well the someone higher up was eating dinner and would have to call me back oh and by the way our credits are only good for 30 days its the 19th. To which I replied - so you found the credit? NO but they are only good for 30 days- to which I replied that that was not what was told to me when I spoke to the manager on May 18th when the order was incorrect - I was told it could be used on my next order - not my next order with in 30 days. I have yet to receive a call back from said regional manager and as much as I love their pizza and previous service this was not handled properly and will not be able to support this local business anymore. You do not treat loyal customers this way and expect to keep them. Kayla and Zaynav need a real lesson in customer service.
This was my husband and Is first time going to Marcos in GA, and we went because I had a coupon for a free pizza. The pizza was great and we ordered chees sticks which were almost good. The staff is all young High School aged kids but they were all very friendly and professional.
My husband and I have one day a week to eat what we want...Decided to try Marcos because we had a coupon. We got Pizza, a Sub, Cheesey bread, and cinnamon squares. All of it was stale, cold, and tasteless. If you want good pizza, get Pizza Hut. I wasted $30...The best I can do, is warn others
I love the pizza, this is only reasion ther are getting 3 stars. In the past i have orders crispy wings and every time the wings come soggy... I spoke to the manager about this and he argue with me that they are crispy. I ask him to squeeze them to see that they were not crispy he refused so I was wrong and he was right. So I will not go back to the wings
Im less than 3 miles from this location and they expressed I was not in their delivery area and they refused to assist me further. The mgr said they were given a delivery map from corporate and I was outside of their map, I then asked for a corporate number or contact information so that I could voice my concern, and he said he didnt have that information to give to me, proceeded to tell me to have a nice day and disconnected my call.
I KEEP GIVING THEM A SECOND CHANCE. AFTERTONIGHT IM DONE. ITS JUSTTO PAINFUL.MARCOS IS NOWHERE LIKETHEY WERE WHEN THEY FIRST OPENED THEIR LOCATIONS. ITS REALLY SAD.TONIGHT MY FRIEND REQUESTED HERS BE SERVEDIN A BOX, INSTEAD OF A TRAYTHEY BROUGHT IT TO HER ONA TRAY.I ORDERED MINE FOR DINNING IN, THEY BROUGHT IT IN A BOX.THE PRICES ARE TO HIGHNEVER HAVE SPECIALS ON ANY OF THE ORIGINALS.

2021-10-12Very disappointed in the service I experience at Marco today. I ask for cinnamon squares and they gave me some cold cinnamon square, with no Icing! I called them and ask why didn’t I get the icing she told me that I have to pay extra for icing . I ask her why didn’t they say anything when I place the order she than told me they ran out of icing. I ask to speak to the manager, she kept me on hold for 20 mins and never came back to the phone. I called back twice and they ignored my call twice. But when I called from a different # they answered. how unprofessional!

2021-11-05Im not quite sure what happened to this Marcos location because it used to be the best. However, the pizza I received was a horrible hot mess! I received a refund, but there is no excuse for poor quality.

2022-03-31I am highly disappointed at the so-called Marcos pizza shop, located off Macland Road in the Macland shopping center in Marietta, run and operated by bunch of inept and deceitful managers and their assistants. On two different occasions that I went to this shop to pick up my online order (an hour in advance order), I was told that my pizza had just been put in the oven, and it would be ready in just 2-3 minutes. Contrary to such bogus claim, once I had to wait 34 minutes and another time 28 minutes while watching the walk-in customers, who had ordered their pizzas at the store, would pick theirs up in15-20 minutes. I was baffled at this perplexity until I noticed that all those late arrivals, but early pick-ups were friends with the management!. It was very agonizing for me to witness this unprofessional behavior; therefore, I politely asked the tall, heavy set, overweight manager when my pizza would be ready because I had been there for over 27 minutes. In response, the rude redneck turned to me and said, I am afraid you have to wait like everybody else!!! I was extremely shocked and disappointed at his rude and incindiary behavior, so I decided to leave the store and vowed to never go back there.Another issue that I witnessed was that the same manager was very arrogant, rude, and dirty. For instance, when he wanted to land the pizza on the counter to cut it, he accidentally dropped it on the counter. He then yelled, s..t in front of customers and then picked up all the pizza items and put them back on the pizza without any shame or hesitation.

2022-03-26I thought they were late delivering my pizza but I later found on the ground outside my front door. No one rang the doorbell, or knocked, or called, or sent a text, or made any effort to notified me it had been delivered. They didn’t even try to collect their top!

2022-04-09Marcos Pizza on Macland Road, Powder Springs is the most poorly run excuse of a business I have ever encountered. I ordered a pizza to pick up and when I got there, I was told it was in the oven. 10 minutes later I was told it would take another 10 minutes.. Finally, I was told my pizza was still on the screen and had not even been processed. I got a refund -no apologies for my 45 minute wait. Warning! Do not go there if you want to get a pizza.

2022-07-23Beware - ownership change , AND employees who will argue with their customers. They refuse to take ownership of an error, but will demand that the customer return the error to get the replacement order? I am mind blown that this is how some small business treat their customers, and we’ve been long time since this store opened. At this point I will NOT give them any more of my business and will make sure to share this review on any outlets I can

2021-11-041. They don’t take coupons2. I placed an order and they cancelled in 2 min.3. I’ve ordered from here a few times and the orders a regularly messed up, just don’t complain about it cause I don’t really like to.All in all, this Marcos is genuinely the worst one around. It’d be better for you to go and pick up a pizza at a different store a mile further away. Or just order papa John’s.

2021-08-21I order an extra large pizza for my family. The woman that took my order stated it would take 15min. I went next door when I returned found my truck blocked in by the manager parked illegally in a fire lane. She told me that I would have to be patient. After multiple attempts over 25min I was told now I am not going too move my car. I had to wait until another person shopping in the shopping center pulled out next to me. All this time the manager stood outside watching to make sure that I didnt do anything to her car.This person is incredibly disrespectful & has zero customers appreciation. I will never be back. They lost a long time customer that used to bring home pizza every Friday night for the family. Guess we will find another restaurant to order from now. The location that this happened at is on Macland Rd in Powder Springs.

2021-09-10I ordered online and it never arrived. I called the store and was told that the driver was on the way and waited a while and driver never showed up. I went to the store and was told that the pizza out for delivery. I asked if they could call or text the driver to see where he/she was, he/she never picked up the phone. I waited at the restaurant hoping that the driver would arrive before I would ask to remake my pizza and once again the driver never showed. I had to wait another 45 minutes for my pizza to get remade after ordering it 2 hours ago.The young staff seems to like to play more than focus on their job and work. It will be a while before I order again from this location.
