This was an amazing place for my daughters wedding. Beautiful venue with charm. Robin was extremely helpful during our wedding planning and more than helpful during the setup and tear down. As a father of the bride, I could not be more pleased.
Highly recommend for bridal photographers and videographers. Beautiful historic charm and setting. Walls and ceilings act as an easy bounce for flash photography, however watch for spill. Lots of windows for staging portraits and gorgeous natural light.
The building was amazing I wish that I lived in Georgia . I can for a very special birthday party and it was as elaborate as the venue Ill never forget that experience 😍
The air conditioning works it is an old building but very well maintained. The staff was excellent and it also has an elevator to get your equipment to the main floor. I was there for a wedding as a vendor.

This place blew my mind, it was beautiful. Everything from the chandeliers to the tiny decoritives. The view out the windows werent the best views, but it was still a great experience when I went there for a Quinceañera. All in all, I would definatly recommend this place to anyone looking to use it for an event
It appears to have been a wonderful Mansion, in the day. Horrible parking. Restrooms are small & dated. Very difficult for a wheelchair/handicap person to enter building.
I attended an ourdoor wedding and the reception was inside the Marion Hatcher building. Everything was so beautiful! The set up and the layout was perfect!
We attended a wedding there on 12/29/18 and this building is amazing! The Staff is Great! What a fun time!
It seems to have been recently renovated and it was a great venue for our company to have a meeting. I love old buildings and this place has a lot of character.

2020-05-01My husband and I cannot recommend the Marion Hatcher Center highly enough. Everything was absolutely perfect for our day! We reserved the whole house for our wedding reception, so our guests had room to wander and be comfortable. The flow of the floor plan was perfect, our guests were able to move and mingle with ease and we were able to have two bars set up, one in the main ballroom and one in the room next door so there was never a long line for drinks.The chandeliers and decor of MHC is stunning which made decorating easy. My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state and Robin worked with us every step of the way and was incredibly kind and encouraging and made planning our wedding much less stressful. She worked amazingly with our team of vendors and we had a smooth and perfect day.

2020-12-16We tried looking at many venues in the area and started to lose hope that I wouldn’t find my perfect venue. I then found the Marion Hatcher center and instantly fell in love and knew this would be my wedding venue. Robin was a delight to work with. She was very responsive via email. She was very flexible and allowed me to come to the venue many times to just look around and make plans with my vendors! I was even able to come do my bridal portraits there during the week. The day of the wedding was the as amazing as I had pictured. The only problem we had was with another worker Cindy who was very rude and nasty to the guests causing some awkward tension . Another complaint was allowing other vendors (into the fields floral design) stay and be very rude with guests and myself (the bride) . All in all - robin was a DELIGHT and I hope to someday work with her again ! The venue is absolutely perfect.

2018-09-29We chose Marion Hatcher for our wedding reception, and it was perfect - I looked at just about every venue in town, and this space was our favorite. It is beautiful and historic, but with rules that are more flexible than many comparable venues. It also includes added bonuses like a brides room/gentlemans room for getting ready.Also, the whole space has been recently renovated and is absolutely glowing, and there are SO many amazing spots to take photos inside, on the front steps and on the grounds! The interior is so lovely that minimal decoration is needed to make it event-ready, and we received many compliments from out of town guests on the space.From day one, Robin and the team were very helpful and accommodating and provided great communication. On the day of the event, they were on top of everything - our event was flawless!This is truly a special and unique space with a great staff. So glad we have this in the CSRA!

2018-12-17This place was pretty neat. It’s a historic building, so it’s got a unique charm to it. We had a work holiday party here recently and I wouldn’t mind having it here again, or coming to another event here. There seem to be a lot of rooms you could use for various things. The parking lot behind the building is a bit small, at least from what I could tell at night. If you have an event here, I’d recommend arriving early to score a spot. Also, the men’s restroom was very small, while I heard that the women’s restroom had big counters and a couch. I’d wouldn’t mind a couch in the men’s room. Anyways, I’d recommend this place for events.

2021-06-18When we began looking for a venue in Augusta, we had a list of about 8, many were nice spaces, but not exactly what we were looking for. As soon as we stepped into the Marion Hatcher Center, we knew it was the perfect place for our event. From the breathtaking double staircase, high columns and the stained glass around the front door to the large windows, natural light and natural wood floors, this is a gorgeous house and the perfect event space.During our event, each guest commented on the house and wanted to learn more about it. The Marion Hatcher Center truly is a talking point!Before, during and after our event, Robin was a true delight to work with. Not only is she thorough and an excellent communicator, but she was incredibly kind throughout the entire process. I could not ask for a better person to work with.I highly recommend the Marion Hatcher Center for any event!
