Solid 4.5 and better than I thought itd be. Our server was great. Service was quick and our food was good. My steak and blackened shrimp were as ordered, the baked potato was cooked correctly in my opinion and the atmosphere was lively. Pricing and portions were fair as well. And the bartender made my drink like I like it! I definitely see why theyre still in business. Id recommend and and would go back.
I have visited a couple times. Nothing fancy, and the staff is always nice. Discovered the tempura fried veggies--delicious. Their house ranch is the bomb. Love the salmon. Dont waste your time with alfredo pastas--not their thing. Love the views by the window or when you step outside on the deck. This is a solid place to enjoy a meal. And their happy hour drinks dont skimp on the alcohol!
We had a great experience at Marshside Grill, no complaints from our family of 5. The restaurant definitely has a local hangout feel to it, and offers nice views of the estuaries and Lady Jane shrimp boat. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and helped us to have a nice dinner. The food was awesome, all well prepared and tasted great. Scallops werent available when we went, which was a bummer, but they made up for it by doing an excellent job with what they did have to offer. Were not from the area, but next time were back visiting Jekyll Island we will definitely stop back.
The view was the best part of the entire experience. They have no drink menu, waitress assured us they had a full bar, but then couldnt even make a Moscow Mule. Both of us ordered steak, crab legs & baked potatoes. Meals were delivered missing the potatoes, the food runner told us hed be right back with the potatoes (never came back) Waitress came back once during our meal right after it was delivered to see how everything was, at that point we hadnt even had the opportunity to try anything. She didnt return again until we were completely done eating. I told her we never received our side, she seemed irritated, then came back from the kitchen to tell us our potatoes were literally just done. Told her I just wanted them taken off the check at that point, to which she made an excuse saying the food runner said they were going to bring them earlier that is why she didnt check back, ummm not my problem, you shouldve checked on your table. The food was mediocre at best, steaks were way overcooked. The crab legs did not taste fresh, they were extremely bland & had almost a mushy texture. My son ordered onion rings that were seriously the most bland onion rings Ive ever tasted. Sadly, they were cooked beautifully, just had ZERO flavor! This place needs a major face-lift the decor is dark & dingy paneling. I really wanted to love this place, but there was just nothing to love about the entire experience. Save your money get a sandwich & go to the park next door for the same view!
Absolutely love this place! I am in the restaurant business and appreciate the fantastic service. The food is consistent and excellent. Great location with beautiful marsh views. This place is always busy. I highly recommend the blackened grouper sandwich and spuds. Their wings and fried vegetables are amazing as well!
We always make a trip to Marshside while visiting the Georgia coast. There is always a wait, but it is well worth it! Service is great, views are beautiful, and the food is excellent! I had the grouper basket this time and it was piping hot when it arrived. The Brunswick stew is really good, too! I look forward to our next visit!
Packed with locals at 5:30 pm. I knew it would be good. 1 hour wait for a table for 7. The $2 happy hour Bud and Miller made the wait fly by. Happy hour ends at 7 pm Monday-Friday. Locals were very friendly and our server Kayleigh or Kaylee was very attentive. When college football came up, the smack talk was on! She didn’t hold back. You will not regret going here! Thanks Marshside!
Don’t waste your time and money, we wet around 5:30pm ordered the shrimp and pasta it wasn’t at all what I expected, the pasta was sticky and not flavorful at all, they forgot my hush puppies then When they brought them out they were too hard to bite into. My husband had the full moon platter which was listed in the pasta area but got no pasta not much of a big deal about the no pasta the shrimp was the only good part the rest was dry and not the best, my daughter ordered the steak and shrimp, steak was supposed to me medium well and it came out rare so sent it back to be recooked and that took almost 45 minutes we were all done eating by then so I went and got the manager, he went to check on the steak and shortly after they brought it out black and well well done so it still was not right and it was so small and thin it was no ribeye. The manager did remove the cost of my daughters meal so that was a plus and he was very nice didn’t have to argue or anything. The waitress did pretty good although she didn’t refill our drinks. The meal we had was maybe work $30 if that definitely not $80 (after the refund of my daughters plate, would had been $110) don’t waste your money.
A favorite when were up in the Golden Isles! Great food, reasonable prices, big portions, lots of outdoor seating, a nice view - and some really good chicken fingers (especially with their house-made honey horseradish sauce)! Also of note are the best fried mushrooms Ive ever had (also house-made) and their spuds.
It was quite busy when I was there. They have indoor dining and an out door area that was enclosed with plastic, it was very cold that day so Im not sure what it looks like on warm days. The outdoor area had some kind of gathering- a party or reunion type event. There was also a lot of people that looked like they were local and come frequently. As I said, it was quite busy but the service was good. I had grouper and was a little concerned because it had a fishy smell as if it wasnt fresh. It had good flavor but I wasnt overly impressed with it.I certainly would stop here again if in the area and give it another chance. Idlove to see the view in better weather..
A little sidetrack visit off I-95 for some seafood. This place was crowded for a Tuesday (good sign). Situated on the water with covered outdoor seating just another plus! I had the seafood platter, fried! Oysters were ok, shrimp tough, and the scallops were tough and overcooked. The fish however, was outstanding! Other meals in our party were an oyster po’ boy that was huge and tasty. Shrimp tacos that were terrific. And chicken pasta Alfredo that was so-so. Overall, this place was pretty good! Real southern sweet tea oh-la-la! Service was impeccable! Give this place a try if you’re ever in or near Brunswick, Ga.
We stopped by about 2:30 on a Monday had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated everybody was talking about how wonderful everything was when we got our food we had a hard time not laughing when we looked at it my husband got a seafood combination platter that had three or four different items on it and to say there were about two small bites of each item is being kind the portions were so small Ive had appetizers bigger than their portions in all honesty Red Lobster is a million times better you get much more food and quality for the price I did not think their food tasted even as good as Red Lobster or several other seafood places we have visited over the years the piece of fish I had seriously looked like a piece of fish you can buy in a box in the frozen section of the grocery store triangle shaped and very dry definitely not impressed not worth the wait and not worth stopping by
We went saturday around lunch. It was crowded and had to wait 30min before we recieved a table because we requested an outdoor table. The view is great of the marsh of course. We ordered the shrimp salad. It was pretty good. The service though was 5/5 and we left a really good tip for our waitress. Not a place I would drive out of my way to eat at but good if im already in town. I feel maybe the place needs a refurbishment and some modernizing. The bathrooms are very tiny.
Waited 20 minutes to get my order taken. it was not busy for it to take so long. The waitress gave very poor service and seemed tobe more concerned with the other 2 tables. The burger was just big with no flavor. The quesdilla was dry and bland. The only thing I enjoyed was the shrimp and the view of the marsh. Otherwise was just over price with poor service
Food is very good. Very Lively, Casual and Fun atmosphere. Service was was fast, organized and Extremely Friendly. Menu is a bit on the pricey $$ side, but great portion sizes make up for it. Our Server offered and let us sample the Draft Beer before deciding. Also, they have many Large Tables and the beautiful wooden Booths are Gigantic with tons of room. I would definitely recommend for couples, families, large parties or just one to sit at the fantastic bar.
We had so much fun visiting this place. My folks live in the area and when I asked them for the local spot this is where we came. Ate lots of shrimp that were seasoned to perfection and really liked the spuds what a great take on french fries. Sitting on the back porch was such a treat to relax and watch a storm come in. Thanks again for having us, we will return next trip!
Late afternoon dinner. Blackened Mahi Mahi was delicious. If you love crab soup as much as I do you wont like theirs. Ate on the deck. Nice breeze and nice view. Everyone was so friendly. Two girls, Hannah and wanted me to take their pics. I think they were joking, but I surprised them. They were so sweet. Great menu selection.
My fiancée and I went to Mashside Grill on Jan 25 2021 while we were visiting Jekyll Island and we are glad we did. We both had the Full Moon Platters which consisted of Shrimp, Scallops, Oysters, Fish and two sides (we chose cheese grits and a house salad) we also split a bowl of the crab soup. The soup and salad arrived almost instantaneously and both were great. The house salad was huge and would satisify even the hungriest herbavour. The crab soup was very good as well. The entrée arrived and then portions were generous. Or witress, name was Emma and the service was great. She even called my attention to money that fell from my pocket. The food and the service are worth the trip to Marchside Grill.
The view from the Marshside Grill is the best you will find in the area. The food was good but not exceptional. I had a ribeye and crab legs with Cole slaw and hushpuppies. The Riley was actually cooked correctly (medium rare) but was kind of fatty. The crab legs were good but the shells were rubbery and hard to crack. It seemed as though they were kept in a steam table.I would go back because of the view and the fact that the food was decent. It is VERY popular with all different types of people.Because of the view this is a must if you are in the Brunswick area
My family were in this area for one evening and were really hoping to have some good seafood - in particular some good Georgia shrimp. We also hoped to find a place on the water. After a search this was one of the restaurants that looked like we could have both of those things. It turned out to be absolutely disappointing as far as the food goes. After asking some questions of our server about our best options, my daughter and I decided to share a shrimp platter. My grandson went for the childs shrimp dinner. Well first, the childs $8 platter had 18 shrimp on it and our $21 platter had 16 shrimp. Well you could maybe think that the childs plate had some small shrimp but no, both of the platters had the same sized shrimp. To be sure, I took pictures of each against the same fork to verify. The adult platter shrimp had tails and the childs did not. The childs shrimp were not too bad but the shrimp on the adult platter were hard as rocks and rubbery like they had been sitting since yesterday - honestly. The hush puppies were as hard as rocks. I could have broken the window if I had tossed it. The baked potato was small. We couldnt and didnt eat the shrimp. I really dont like to complain and my daughter really would rather pay for a bad meal and forget about it. I might tend to do that too if the meal was $10 but not for $22. Well I decided to ask the waitress to remove the adult platter from our bill. She went to the manager and the manager took half off. In hindsight I should have spoken directly with the manager since the waitress has no power in any of our issues. Taking half off our platter was not sufficient. I told the waitress that but she just shrugged because there was nothing else she could do. The manager should have come over to talk to us; I should have insisted on talking to them. My only recourse is to let others know it is not the place to eat if you are looking for good shrimp.
Was told that they do not do pick up orders on the weekend when I called in my order. Apparently I had to come in and sit at the bar to order? Came in and waited, not even a lot of people. Two people came in after me stating they placed a to go order over the phone less than 20 minutes ago. Last 50 dollars I will spend here
Waited an hour, then they said it was cash only, no cards. Watched numerous people leave but they seated very few in return. The front girls, obviously young and non-caring did very little to show decent customer service. The food may have been great, but well never know, and we will never go back!
It seemed a little shabby on the outside, but I think that was because of the recent storms. Dont be fooled, the inside is great, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is indoor seating with smaller tables, or large spacious booths, and also bar seating. There is also outdoor seating on a big covered deck overlooking the salt marshes.I ordered the crab legs with 2 sides (french fries and ocra), and my mother got the fried shrimp. Everything was delicious! This was my first time eating crab legs, and the man who served our food was very helpful and showed me how to crack the legs. The bathrooms are small, but clean and stocked, and the prices a pretty reasonable for fresh seafood. Definitely worth the stop!
Food was cold sent it back they just fried the same food over now it was a burnt taste so I never ate the waitress Jessica was horrible about the situation so I paid an left she came outside cussing an fussing cause I didn’t leave a tip so unprofessional would never do business there again I called to make a complaint no one answered
Waitress named Novah was extremely rude when we gave her our IDs for drinks. My friend and I are both 21 and she continued to question us and stare at our IDs and it made us extremely uncomfortable, and her attitude was extremely rude and off putting. We got up and left and we love marshide but now feel uncomfortable going back.
Be selective where you park at high tide... food was great and waitress was filling our teas every 5 minutes or so. Very on top of things tonight. Burger was a good size for the money and the chicken fingers with buffalo sauce ar my favorite. You must get the spuds crispy and put malt vinegar on them. Enjoy!
Food was very good. Highly recommend the steak and shrimp. Cooked exactly how I asked the first time. Portions were perfect. They needed more servers I think cause our poor girl was doing everything it seemed. I did not like that they added 18% to our total.... luckily, she deserved it but... if she had not...I wouldve had to say something about the $11 added... calling it a service fee. Other than that... great place. Would definitely eat there again.
Excellent food, Excellent service. We had surf and turf. Ribeye was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Shrimp were very good. Crab legs were some of the best Ive ever had. Easily cracked, sweet whole pieces. Good prices and well worth it. Best food we had on our entire vacation.
Wonderful experience all around. We had reservations at another restaurant that didnt work out, and we called them to secure an outdoor seat. They accommodated us and we had a lovely evening. Great service, nice view, and some of the best seafood in the SSI/Brunswick area. Will definitely add this to our dining repertoire when we visit next.
I loved it here. Our server Corey was great with customer service. My wife and I came here for our honeymoon one night and we were treated exceptionally. I ordered a seafood platter and my wife ordered the crab legs and steak. We were not disappointed with the food. Also Corey gave us a free Oreo cheesecake because we recently got married.I would love to come here again if we were in town more. I would highly highly recommend if you were looking for some great Quality seafood.
My husband and I just had dinner there last night and once again The Marshside grill didnt disappoint. There was a little wait which gave us an opportunity to enjoy some drinks with the great view. The fried mushrooms are a must for us and they were delicious. The fish basket and the steak with crab legs were awesome, but the steak was the best I ever had. Great food, great service, even with everything thats been going on lately for the restaurant industry. We love that place and we will definitely be back!
Absolutely one of the best dining experiences ever. A great value as well. A reasonable price for a seafood platter. I had mine fried, the wife had hers grilled. Everything is good cooked near perfection. Nothing overcooked which is a pleasant surprise . Nice view overlooking the marsh. The service is casual but efficient and p
Pros: The waitress was very nice and friendly, keeping our refills coming. The blue moon on draft was great. The Buffalo sampler was bearable due to the very spicy nature of the dish and the 2 hr wait without any food.Cons: All the fried food ordered by our 7 members of the party was bland and dry after arriving one hour later to our table. The fish (both grouper and catfish), fries, oysters, coleslaw, and remaining ordered items were of a 3 week old deep fryer used grease quality with no seasonings. We will not be returning here.
We were looking for dining by the water and found this place. We are driving a 29 foot motor home, so parking was important. I called ahead and sure enough, there was a spot for us, despite flooding and high tide. The food was what we had hoped for and we got to sit out on the back deck. Bonus was seeing the Lade Jane parked at the dock behind the restaurant.
My dinner was delicious--shrimp and oyster platter. Even the seasonal vegetables were hot and tasty (broccoli and zucchini). But Id drive here from Mozambique just for another portion of their Brunswick stew (my first). The service was incredibly friendly and prompt and helpful without in any way being solicitous.
The food was good the waitress good. The hostess needs to learn some customer service skills. Shes a little rude. We were given a wait time of 1 hour and 2 hours later we were finally had a table Sons choice for his birthday we stayed. 3 stars simply because of the hostess
We have been going to this restaurant over five years now when we travel through GA and have always loved the food. We even had our new years dinner there this year. We went just a week ago and something has changed. The food was not good, the place was filthy, the staff could care less. I was brought bread with my meal which was a piece of white bread, cut in half with some kind of grill grunge on it. We also had cornbread which wasnt any good either. I will have to say the hush puppies were the best thing on the table. Sad to see such a great place go downhill so quickly. We wont be returning.
Waited an hour for a table. Terrible service. Hubby got his salad after asking for it before his prime rib. But prime rib came before his salad and then we had to ask for it. I ordered the fish only got 1 side instead of 2 and at this point we knew we wouldnt come back or recommend to anyone
We had great svc everytime we passed through this town. For last three times( now we are out and never be back), we had terrible food quality, portion, and all we ordered was brought wrong... We order the same, every time...and third time given too many chances, so we are out....we tried to bring it up to some sort of in charge person, No where to be found, except some bartender who acted the one to be in charge, and she was no help... word of mouth is a strong. we wont be back
Great atmosphere and Amazing food!! We just moved to Brunswick in June and this is already my favorite place. We sit at the bar and love hanging with Lauren, Eric and Sam (haven’t met the others yet). And the food!! We have had the fish fingers, fried veggies, peel and eat shrimp, burgers, and of course the spuds….and have loved everything. And the bloody Mary’s! YUM! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
We arrived at this restaurant at 9:03pm this Friday evening. This establishment closes at 10pm. Hostess signaled to staff member and it was relayed that they were not taking any more guests. Its hard to imagine a place that was decently busy to close an hour before. I hate to give this any sort of review but not accepting new guests an hour before closing is part of a well established business.
Drinks were amazing.. the portion of a shrimp Alfredo for the price of $23 bucks was extremely disappointing it was legit a childs sized plate! They also charge 18 percent on tables of 6 or more which was ridiculous in itself and makes the wait staff less likely to refill your drinks or even smile!
If you want a quick bite, this place is not the place to go to. Wait wasnt too horrible right at 5. We asked for a highchair when checked in and were sat in an area that highchairs arent allowed after waiting 45min. They brought one out anyways. Waited 30min for appetizer. Then waited 40min for entrees. Food was great. Waiting really sucked.
This place was highly recommended to me and I was very disappointed. I have a food allergy so I called ahead and the restaurant answered, I asked if they could accommodate my dairy allergy. The person left to find someone who could answer, when they returned to the call they said they talked to the kitchen and it would be very possible for me to eat there without issue. So I packed up the family and we went, when I showed up I once more confirmed with staff that I could eat there with my allergy. We then waited an hour for a table during which time our toddler was getting very hungry. We finally get a table, get our order in, only for our server to return and tell me that the cook said I could not be accommodated at all with my allergy in their restaurant. So we had to leave. The only positive thing is they didnt kill me or land me in the hospital, but they wasted my familys entire evening despite my having done everything within my power to ensure at every point that I would have been able to eat there. If you have allergies of any kind, dont go here, they will not take care of you.
Nice atmosphere I guess. Food was okay, but pricy. Honestly Ive had better at Applebees. Almost sent my dish back because there were bits of shell in with the mussels in my pasta. Disgusting and careless. They dont even put the alfredo sauce on the dish to serve it.This place was also extremely crowded, but it was a Fri night, so thats to be expected I guess. No one was masked but in such a crowded restraint it doesnt really make a difference anyway.
First off, let me start by saying that whomever posted that the portions here are small, has GOT to be from another planet! Im a big eater, and the portions here are anything but, PLUS...this place is my new favorite #1 restaurant an its a shame I live in Ft. Lauderdale. My wife and I got into our hotel late on a Thursday and searched the web for a seafood restaurant open till 9 PM. When we got there at 7:45, we were told it would be a one hour wait, so we headed for the bar, Fortunately, our bartender Eric told us we could eat at the bar, and both his service, the food, and his attentiveness was second to none. (and a helluva nice guy too! :) 100% recommended!
We made a small quest for finding Brunswick Stew in Brunswick GA and found Marshside Grill.I personally judge a Brunswick stew by the flavor and components of the stew. If a stew need bbq sauce, its a low-grade stew. This place didnt need any adjustments to its stew. Fantastic! My only complaint was the shrimp tacos were too sweet, and potato spuds were a bit too soggy. Both were not bad foods by any means, just that the cook could have paid more attention to the spud time in the fryer, and the description of the tacos didnt say sweet. I would have liked more of the wasabi that the menu described.Regardless, when I come back here, we will definitely stop here again!
This was me and my family’s first time trying this place, we were recommended by a friend. We order the shrimp alfredo pasta, the ribeye steak and the mahi-mahi. The food was definitely not what we expected. The shrimp was sooo small and dry, the mahi-mahi was super dry and the ribeye steak was dry as well. The service was not up to par, she did the bare minimum. We did enjoy the house salad and Ceaser salad but that was pretty much it. The table was rusty when we sat down. I don’t know how this location has a 4.3 stars, because our experience didn’t even come close to that!
Was so glad to find this place after several years of not making it here. My friend and I had the Full Moon Seafood Platter and the Fish tacos with blackened grouper. It was absolutely delicious. Had a bit of a wait but sat outside by the terrace with drinks by the marsh while our name was called. Ansley our server was great!
This is a great place to eat. The blackened fish tacos are my favorite for a light but filling meal. If you are hungry for seafood, the seafood platter is great but a lot to eat. I recommend that you get it blackened not fried. If you get there at any regular mealtime expect to wait. I always try to go at 11:00am or at about 4:30pm to avoid crowds.
The Marshside Grill has a great waterside location. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious! The grilled scallops were some of the best weve ever tasted. Plenty of options for all tastes. My husband and I plus our three children 10 months, 4 years and 7 years old all loved it. We travel multiple times a year to vacation at Jekyll Island and this restaurant will be a new go-to place for us!
First time coming here. And last. Service was super nice and friendly. They were busy but everything was out in a timely manner. But the food was horrible. Fried mushrooms were extremely salty. My husband had the platter with a bit of everything and could only stomach a few bites and almost threw up. My child had two of the fried shrimp and stopped eating (he loves sea food) and I had a fish basket that was straight mush and no flavor. The salad was good though. They comped mine and my husbands meal but still paid over $45 for kids meals and drinks and upset stomachs. No thank you.
I loved the place my entire family loved it! We sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine and breeze while enjoying the food so much we almost returned instead of trying anything else on our stay - but we left town before making it back - I am so happy with the service (I used to wait tables for years too!) I recommend it and will return when we visit Brunswick area.
Finally got a table after long wait, ordered, one hour later the waitress come by our table and states the kitchen lost our order and thought it was funny. We leave, come back to get the umbrella I left at our table and its gone. It was really late and there were very few customers there. Nobody knew anything about an umbrella. No doubt the staff there has a very nice umbrella now. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!
We enjoyed everything very much and our server was terrific. The place is a bit loud inside, and we were there to visit with family, so that was the only thing we would have changed. 45 minute wait was expected. Its a very popular spot and the parking lot is always full. We had drinks on the terrace while we waited. Good stuff!
Such a delicious place to stop for lunch! I had the seared salmon over a caesar salad. I must say that it has to of been the best piece of salmon I’ve eaten!! Five stars for food, service, and location. My only dislike was how loud it was in the restaurant, so I did not remove any stars because that is not a restaurant issue rather that of the volume with their customers. Possibly the location of our table enhanced the sound. Overall absolutely satisfied and I look forward to returning.
A bit of a wait but worth it, worn and comfortable interior, old decorations from the 80s or 90;s (stained glass light fixtures over tables) friendly help, masked, good menu, eat outside on a deck with nice water views. We ordered milk, sorry, no milk on the menu. Noise level is high, you have to talk loud to your fellow diners.
I was horribly disappointed by the experience we had here tonight. The service was erratic, with our waitress distractedly checking in and then wandering away before hearing our response. The food when it arrived was of questionable quality, unevenly seasoned, some dishes poorly cooked, and with varying portion proportions. The side salad ordered by one at our table was significantly larger than the entree salad ordered by another. The 30 dollar full moon platter was a scarcely populated plate of unevenly seasoned food. The burger my son ordered ended up being scorched on the bottom and then drowned in a thick layer of plasticy cheese and soggy bacon. He was not able to actually eat it. There was an order of chicken tenders that almost never made it to the table. Overall the quality of the food in no way provided enough value to justify the price of the meal. I will say though, that the spuds are absolutely yummy, however, thats not enough to have us return.
Just left. Went for dinner. Service started off decent. Buffalo shrimp appetizer was really good. The regular shrimp and scallop dinner left alot to be desired. Everything was ok up until another table came in. Apparently our server knew them well. So much so that she COMPLETELY ignored us as we sat and watched her go to the other table multiple times. I finally had to get up and ask the hostess to go grab the manager and tell them to bring our check because we were beyond ready to go after being ignored for so long. Finally our server brought the check but we never seen the manager! We will NOT be coming back. It was not busy. There was no reason for the manager to not stop by the table to make things right and apologize. Oh well...Ill take my business elsewhere.
Absolutely hands down the best seafood that I had while I was in Jekyll! Crab legs were more than plentiful and the spices were just right. They eased down into the crab! Service was awesome! The chef was brilliant in his cooking...views were beautiful. Make it a point to visit!
Good food that is basic American which leans to more of fresh seafood dishes. Sandwiches are of a good size. Try the steak sandwich (large slice of prime rib) and the Marsh hen (chicken). Give the spuds a try over the French fries. Dont be in a hurry even for lunch since they can be on the slower side.
We decided to give it a try tonight (been a couple times before and wasnt too impressed). Tonight was probably the worst dining experience weve ever had. The food was fair at best (except the buffalo shrimp; it was very good). Our server got a second table and it was apparent that it was people that she knew. From that point on we got no service at all. After being neglected my fiance had to go get the hostess and ask her to get the manager for us as we were ready for the check so we could just go. The manager never came by to see us. Aside from the appetizer there was not 1 positive thing I can say about the experience. We will NOT be returning
Was disappointed from our last experience there. Service was very good so no reflection on the server Shrimp was a bit over cooked. Slightly tough.. That was my favorite dish there. Either that or preparation has changed. The outside dining area still had vinyl weather protecting shields up so the view was a bit obstructed. Children were crawling under it and pushing on it as they would while parents ate their meals. A bit distracting for us as we had the window nearest that area. Prices slightly higher but I expect that since COVID . Who knows maybe it was just a bad night for them.
After An Hour And Half Wait For A Table We Sat Down Placed An Order And Waited, And Waited, And Waited. After Seeing Some Other Patrons Get Their Meals That Had Ordered After Us We Asked Our Server What Was Going On She Went To Check And Apparently Our Ticket Had Gotten Misplaced Be She Assured Us The Meal Was Being Put Together Food Was Good But Not Worth The Wait In My Opinion.

2021-12-31This restaurant is so delicious! We had the steak and a buffalo chicken sandwich. We also got the shrimp cocktail and onion rings! All are so so good. Our waitress was amazing! This was our second time bringing out of town family with us and we are still so impressed with this restaurant! It has an amazing view as well! We will definetly be back!

2022-04-21Dog friendly porch but you have to walk around the end of the building to access. Great shrimp wrap. Could have used a bit more seasoning. I added a bit of hot sauce and it was great. Stuffed full of shrimp. I ordered them blackened. Fish tacos good! Super friendly and great wait staff.

2022-04-24Extremely fishy tasting on the crab legs and I asked for my steak over medium and it was well well done. It has no moo left in it. But our server was great she was really good while also juggling a party and being short handed. But its pricey to not be cooked right

2022-05-10Pro tip they stop taking names for the waiting list when they say they close. For example, when I got there at 8:30, they stopped the waitlist at 9 o’clock. They was not when they closed.Southern hospitality at its finest! My blackened grouper was cooked to perfection. The outside seating area has a view that is breathe taking.Sam behind the bar was very courteous and happy to be there! Everyone was so friendly and just happy. The vibe was relaxed. 2022-01-11Maybe it was an off day. The blackened seafood was overly blackened. I had to use napkins to soak up the excess. It was inedible and the waitress gave us a discount. Service was impeccable, she was awesome. Will try it again because maybe it was just the cook having an off day. Place is nice, tables are very roomy, great location and views.

2022-01-21Stopped for a late lunch after leaving St. Simons island and before heading to Jekyll Island. Friendly service. Good sweet tea. Meal hit the spot...I got blackened scallops and shrimp with veggies and sweet potato fries. Scallops were fresh and seasoning was tasty. Veggies were softer than my liking. My husband ordered the Shrimp Po Boy and home fries.

2022-01-21I think the kitchen had an off day. We ordered the blackened seafood and they went overboard. We had to clean it off with the napkins it was so blackened and sauced up, we Couldnt eat it. The waitress was spectacular. Place is nice, but I dont know if I would go again.
