I was followed around the store the whole time. I have worked retail All My Life as a manager and I know what the procedure is if you think someones stealing you constantly ask them is there anything I can help you out with. 😒😠
This is my go to place for my backyard chicken needs. They have very inexpensive local chicken feed, knowledgeable staff, and reliable products. I got my chickens here back in April, and they were perfectly healthy. Its always a great experience shopping here, and Id reccomend it over larger big box chain supply stores!

I purchased horse feed from Marys Tack and Feed as I happened to be in Athens for the day; when I opened the feed two weeks later 4 of the 5 bags were moldy. I called Marys in Athens but they refused to help me because my purchase was two weeks prior - they recommended I call Purina. So I went to Boss Brothers and asked if they were having a problem with Purina horse feed; I told them about my issue with the feed from Marys. Boss brothers denied any knowledge issues with Purina feed and suggested I check the date on the bottom of the feed bags that were bad. When I returned home I found the feed from Marys that was mildewed was over six months old! I dont know why I never knew to check for date labels on feed bags before but so glad that Boss Brothers was willing to share this information with me. They are forever my feed supplier moving forward even when another store is closer due to my travels :-). FYI, I called Purina and reported the sale of the old feed from Marys. Hope this will help someone else in the future so they were horse does not get sick or die!

Excellent customer service. I received a damaged product (due to shipping) and it was promptly replaced. I will use Mary’s Tack again for sure.
I am happy to support this store when my budget allows and traffic is easier to negotiate. Not a farm store! Upscale Western gear and supplies and tons of boutique pet products. Always a GREAT find I never knew I needed!
Been going here for years. Nice place, very hard not to spend money in there, and thats after youve done got what you went for. The girl helping me with the boots today was super friendly. Im a talker so good thing she was as well. Wasnt there long cause they were closing, but it was a fun lil stop. Might bring my dog next time.😊
Cant find better customer service anywhere but here. Warm welcoming environment when entering. Always a smile on the employees faces, and over the top assistance with anything. You generally feel like family when walking into this store.

I really love this place. Its a cool store with awesome staff.I used to buy my dog food here all the time, and my husband bought a pair of work boots here that he loved and wore for almost 3 years. I still go in for dog supplies whenever Im in the area. Really awesome place if you feed high end food and buy quality toys, etc.
The cat food selection is very, very small which is disappointing. Looks like they carry a large selection of boots though if youre in the market for that.
No longer offers military discounts on feed. The manager behind the counter was very rude. Feed is overpriced. I would rather drive across town to Tractor Supply where the prices are 40+% cheaper than Marys.
I was brought here by my cousin and I was so surprised by the selection they provided for raw foods for dogs and cats. I was so excited to finally find raw food for my cats because most store only provide for dogs. The ingredients are pure, even the treats, and only meat or vitamins. The store was super clean and the employees were so friendly and helpful.
Chandler very informative about store products handled. I have tried the freeze dried dog food for my smallest and she loves it. Will be in soon! Love your boot and apparel section too!
Best selection of shoes I have seen in one store, great knowledgeable people that work there. Always friendly, everyone makes eye contact says hi. They make you feel welcome. Its bigger inside than it looks.
Mary’s pet supply has many options for good nutritious food for cats and dogs their food varieties offer all die free and healthy selections for your pets. My cat was getting sick off of the grocery store food all different kinds but then I switch to a few kinds at Mary’s and she has never been in better health. I would like if they had more variety of cat toys and maybe containers for their treats but overall their food selection is excellent. First time I went there the customer service was excellent they even offered if the cat did not like it to return the unopened cans and trade for a kind she may like. When I brought the cans she did not like back, the employees did not seem receptive at first to what I was told and then had to question me over and over if I bought it there. However I was able to trade it for one she loves and my precious kitty is healthy and happy. On my third visit to Mary’s the customer service was exceptional I also bought some cute clothes and more food for my kitty!
The staff is knowledgeable about all their products. Every time I go to buy something for my dog Im greeted with enthusiasm. They have never pointed me in the wrong direction. They even replace my dogs harness when she chewed through it. Live this place!
Not sure what the person who said they have bad customer service was talking about. I am becoming a frequent shopper at this store. The customer service is AMAZING. Everyone there has taken time to explain to me the different dog foods that would cater to my dogs, and low and behold it wasnt the most expensive one! I was also walked through on how to give my dogs their shots, without the expensive vet. Everytime I go to this store, they are always in a pleasant mood, always very helpful, and take the time to explain whatever you need to know. Even better, is they spoil my dogs rotten with love and treats. I will continue to shop at this location and if you havent yet, you are missing out!
Marys is great!! I love their boot selection for men and women. They have some tack, English and Western. I always get my pups some of their dog treats and bones too. They have some neat stuff.

My dog was having problems with digestion. I went to Marys to get some advice and was steered toward a food that has been amazing. I will definitely continue to give Marys my business. Their staff is helpful and polite.
This is the best place to buy our dog and cat food. Its a fun store to look around and I am looking forward to buying a pair of boots there. They have a great inventory in all sizes.
Very similar to tractor supply for those of you that are just coming through town. alot of your outdoor agriculture needs can be found here. they also have a good selection of boots. got a few kong dog toys here as well
Nicest customer service weve ever had in a pet supply store plus they had tons of yummy food for the doggies and they even gave me some free treats! Oh yeah and some free samples! We shall return for our next bag...

Always so helpful. I feel like they are priced fairly and competitively. Con is they don’t have as much as say tractor supply. They don’t really have too much at all. Call ahead and see if they have what you need.

Its very easy to call in an order for feed and pull up to the door to have them put it in the car. You dont even have to go in. Love it.
Theres a quarter machine horse for lil kiddos when you walk in. They have a nice size selection of steel and composite toe shoes and boots, which is great for workers whose companies require it. Clean, working restrooms if youre in a pinch, and very nice employees.
It feelds like family when I go in and they usually have everything in stock. If they dont they will get it there for me. A LARGE variety of feed and other large and small animal supplies. Bowgirl/boy clothing there too. Boot selection is vast!
Just wanted to say that whoever made the comment about poor service at Marys hasnt been in the same store that I frequent! I LOVE the way Im treated at Marys and suggest everyone who loves their animals give it a try! Maybe even the person who wrote the last review would change their mind. I have a great number of friends who just wont do business elsewhere. If I sound a little defensive about this, its because I am a LONG-TERM customer of theirs and have seen a huge, positive change since Wayne and Susan started running the store. Great selection! Its like a buffet for your dog so many different kinds of dog foods like you aint never seen! I usually let my dogs walk around in there and pick out a snack. sadly without my expertise they always come back with a gummed up $16 salmon neck chew or something lol

I buy feed only from here but they are always friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that they are often out or low of duck feed.
They have a wide variety of dog foods that are healthy for your fur babies and the customer service is excellent. They are always willing to help you with whatever you are shopping for.

Has the best prices on equine pine. I use it for my cat litter, get 40 pounds for $8 compared to 20 pounds of pine cat litter for $15!

2021-11-10Awesome products and professional customer service. Outstanding place to purchase wildlife feed and dog products including food and treats for my fur babies. Madison gives excellent information about what food to feed different types of wildlife. High Quality products, competitive prices, and outstanding customer service are consistently what my experience has been each visit. I wanted to add some pictures of my recent purchases. Not only do I get my feed here , Mary’s has amazing comfortable clothing for women. Green suede work boots, leather belts, and awesome jeans all priced affordability, jewelry, purses and clean dressing rooms to try on clothing. Wonderful and cheerful staff as well. I came in for deer food and discovered a wonderful place for quality clothing items that are highly fashionable as well. Lastly, Mary’s had great gift ideas for the whole family.

2021-07-14I’ve try to support local businesses BUT I just can’t recommend this business and that’s a shame. The store is nice, the location is convenient, the selection is average but the staff is terrible. I’d rate helpfulness at ZERO and friendliness at ZERO. The last time I was in the store (a few days ago) there were 3 or 4 young guys and a young girl- who appeared to be about high school age hanging around behind the counter. They were having a good time talking amongst themselves and ignoring the few customers who were in the store. I personally was looking for boots and was in the store at least 10-15 minutes taking my time handling the boots and reading the tags for features. Not one time was I acknowledged during the entire visit. With experiences like this, it’s no wonder why so many people do their shopping online.
