My fiancee was treated horribly there by Joey. She was unhelpful, disrespectful, and rude to her. I have had a membership here for over 2 years and felt as though they did a great job, but following this treatment, I would avoid going here ever again and would stay away from the franchise if they make a habit of hiring people with this type of attitude to service the customer.
Ive enjoyed spa treatments all over the world and to find a place like this one locally is a huge life saver. Therapist Jessie is a master of making you feel relaxed, re-energized, and the utmost professional. She is an expert masseuse thats for sure. This clinic is very fortunate to find such amazing talent!
Massage Envy Sandy Plains is by far the best kept secret in East Cobb! The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The facials are wonderful! Massages are exceptional no matter which therapist you have. I highly recommend getting the 90 minute! I’ve had a lot of massages at a lot of different places and I won’t go anywhere else now!
Wonderful therapists who really understand and target your problem areas! I have seen multiple therapists and feel comfortable with each and every one of them. The estheticians have really helped me with my skincare and truly care about the well-being of my skin. Definitely going to continue coming to this location!!
For a chain company the entire experience was wonderful. Front desk staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. The facility is clean and relaxing. I reccomend the 90 min massage but at least try the 60 min massage.Convenient location in a shopping center right off Sandy Plains and Shallowford.I will be going back for sure!
Im not an easy to please client and not really a fan of membership deals. Well, it only took one experience at Massage Envy Sandy Plains for me to sign up for the year! The owners are friendly and helpful, the therapist was very experienced, the atmosphere was relaxing. The whole experience was a treat!
Good services at a price you treat yourself more often. I recommend 1.5 - 2 hour massage to work out all of your soreness or tensions. A true spa atmosphere, minus the fancy lobby and robes. A small sacrifice for a big discount. Other spas or parlors at this price are shady and or have no spa quality. Those other shops feel like Chinese food take-out.
I had my second session with Jeanie for a microdermabrasion and I absolutely love the way she worked on my skin: I have been to other places and spas, I can tell you my experience with Jeanie has been absolutely fantastic. This location has such a soothing and relaxing atmosphere, it’s beautiful! And today I had the chance to meet Lidia, one of the owners; she made sure everything was in order and my experience there was top of the line I also give kudos to Aby who schedules all the appointments and has such a great attitude. Overall I would highly recommend this location, I’ll be back next month.

Ive been to over 7 Massage Envy locations but happened to come by this one for my birthday and the esty who did my facial was AMAZING and very informative. All the massage therapists are really great and this is the only Massage Envy Ill be going to from now on.
Joshua was excellent! He did a superb job on my shoulders and neck, finding every knot. Few therapists have this intuition, unfortunately. The staff was friendly and helpful and the whole place smelled and felt relaxing. The entire experience helped me de-stress and just relax.
The place looks nice and has a very sweet, warm and welcoming receptionist.The actual masseur Barron was the complete opposite of the receptionist. I wish the receptionist would have been the masseuse!From the moment he went to get me at the waiting area, I could see his uninviting and bland attitude.He introduced himself with a bland robotic expression on his face. Maybe it was a long day... whatever, I went to the massage room and I told him that I had issues with my psoas muscle and glutes etc..Apparently I didn´t pronounce psoas correctly so he proceeded to laugh - I have no problem with a little laughter but you know the difference between an innocent laugh and one that is that of a jerk. I decided to ignore that as I don´t have confidence issues and I thought I am here for a massage and not for conversation so things might get better once he keeps his mouth closed,Since I am a female, I wanted to make sure I knew how that area would be massaged so as to avoid any unpleasant and awkward situations. It´s my massage and my body so I want to make sure the more sensitive areas would be approached with tact ensuring one´s comfort. He gave me a vague answer so I then made it clear that I did not want my glutes to be massaged with his hands directly.I wanted that more private area to be approached with forearms or something else that wouldn´t be hands ( in that area). Any professional would have handled that by explaining how it would be done, would have listened and cared about the client´s concerns and needs. This guy, decides to say something rude like....are you going to let me do the massage the way I know how to...( and this coming from a business that says they offer custom massages!)WOW! I then clarified that since this was my massage, that I would have it the way I want it done! There was no way I was going to stay and have this person anywhere near me! Even if this was a bad day for this guy, there is no excuse for behaving like that and handling things in such an unprofessional manner!If you guys want to give this place a shot, I think maybe their other massage therapists might be great. I just unfortunately got stuck with this arrogant unprofessional!
I bought my fiance a 125.00 gift card for a prenatal message. The lady that sold it to me told me up front that it WAS refubdable in case something happened and my fiance wasnt able to attend due to pregnancy health issues. My fiance ended up in the hospital with preeclampsia. And has to have a c-section. Therefore she will not be able to do her message. So, i go up there 4 times. Each time the same story .. The manager isnt in today. Ill have her call you. Still a week later, no call. I call today and she proceeds to tell me she can not refund it. Then why was i told i could? I made VERY sure that i was able to because i knew my fiance was having some issues. So now im out of 125.00 that they get to keep in their pockets. The lady i spoke to was robot sounding and didnt know much. She said she had to call the distric manager for assistance. Im very displeased.These people will never have my service again and i will do my best to make sure everyone i know, knows what a scam you all have played on my fiance and myself.
I went to Massage Envy to have a therapeutic massage to relieve fluid in my surgically repaired knee. The therapist was awesome and it worked great. I would recommend this location to anyone and will go back!!
Always a pleasant experience every time I go! Maggie is definitely my go to for facials and everyone at the front desk is super nice and helpful. They really have the customer service down!

My fiance bought me a gift card. Long story short. Im not doing well. Im the hospital. Cant attend. They refuse to refund the money. Even though he was told he could refund if I was not able to make it. They also said I no called no showed and took 100.00 off of the card. But I did call. I was actually IN THE HOSPITAL. I have preeclampsia. Im very sick. And these people scam myself and fiance. This was wrong! Ill never be back and neither will anyone I know.

2022-07-21Ive had a Massage Envy membership for over 7 years and have visited many different locations. This one has the worst customer service by far. If you want to actually get a massage, do not book with Libby. The last 2 massages I booked here were cancelled the day of my massage just hours before. Same therapist both times and coincidentally she had an emergency come up both times. The second time it happened, I called to speak with someone and hopefully reschedule. I was told a manager would call me back, but its been several days and theyve done nothing. Its ridiculous that I have to cancel at least 24 hours in advance or be charged, but they can cancel on a moments notice TWICE and dont owe me anything.

2022-06-02Worst customer service I’ve experienced at any Massage Envy. Unfortunately, they have one of the rudest receptionist I’ve ever seen or spoke with. When I spoke with the owner, she made it even worse! Terrible franchisee. Be careful going to this location- others are much better!

2022-07-21When I called I asked if gift cards expire. I was told they dont. When I went to pay with my gift card I was told old gift cards did expire. Yes my card was old but the information I got on the phone did not say old cards do expire. They should tell you old cards do expire before you try to pay with one.

2021-11-03For my first time to ME and first time for a facial, the front desk was courteous and professional. Taylor made my facial experience awesome! She listened to me, asked pertinent questions about my skin and care of my skin, at certain points of the facial. Overall, the one hour facial was relaxing and felt wonderful! Afterwards, Taylor suggested a couple products to use at home and answered all my questions. Thank you Taylor for your professional service.

2021-09-14I have given a review of five stars before but in the last 2 1/2 months I have been canceled on at least four times and they wait until the day of it to call me and cancel when they knew ahead of time that the person was not going to be there. Now the one time I had a problem and did not make it they still charged me for it but it’s OK for them to just cancel on the day of it. I called today to check on my massage for 2 days away and was told her schedule was rearranged and no longer had that time. They knew about this but did not call ahead of time to tell me that they were not going to be there.It’s extremely upsetting and I know sometimes if somebody calls in sick there’s nothing you can do about it but two of these times they did know ahead of time that the person wasn’t going to be there and they did not have the decency to call and cancel it. Now I have to wait another two weeks in order to get in. The massage therapist I’ve had are wonderful but they keep leaving which makes me wonder why.

2020-02-12One of the best decisions of my life was joining Massage Envy years ago. Before that I thought of massage as a treat or a luxury. Now I consider it the main component of my personal health care. Once I committed to a monthly 90 minute massage (actually every 3 weeks) my body doesnt get so far out of whack that I cannot do the things I enjoy without pain. My therapist takes time to target whatever specific areas are causing me trouble so that I dont end up with further complications. The money I spend is nothing compared to medical expenses that arise from not dealing with muscular tension and stress. The staff at the Sandy Plains location is exceptional. They are friendly and concerned about your comfort and total experience from start to finish. Thank you for changing my life!

Whether you’re looking to recover from gym/sports fatigue or injuries to just a relaxing massage to unwind for a bit, she’ll take care of you. Very personable and targets recovering areas when specified. Been coming here for months now and will continue to do so.

2021-07-18I have had to reschedule the last 2 appointments of my last 3 appointments because their therapists canceled. My last appointment was made 5 weeks in advance. I didnt even get a phone call my last appointment was canceled. The meeting invite they sent out was canceled so I called to find out was was going on. Very difficult to use them. Wont be back again. Thankfully there are 2 other locations near by.

2021-05-16In order to get a weekend appointment, you would have to schedule 3 weeks in advance...sometimes longer. Today is the second time this location has called me to let me know that the massage therapist called in sick. Ive been a member for 12 years and in 12 years this has never happened except within the last 3 weeks where they have cancelled on me twice.
