Along with the many questions I had for manager John, he still was very patient and knowledgeable about my vehicle and its small fixtures. I had 2 balled tires (which is very dangerous), overdue oil change (Oil was very black) embarrassing, and a small tear in my radiator hose. I felt as if the mechanical team actually took pride into there job. Compared to the other local shops near by...Thanks again! Ill be back to get my other set of tires...
Went there to get a muffler installed (which I bought) and the owner quoted me $800 for hangers, weld in, etc. Told them to get it off the lift asap. Went to a local shop down the road which ended up being $90 plus tax. Dont let this place try to rip you off. Would not recommend even changing your wiper fluid.
Mavis Tires and Brakes is a great place to get work done to your car Im from Tennessee and was in Georgia visiting some friends and needed to get some tires for my car Mavis was recommended to me by my friend so I went and checked them out very happy with Mavis no hassle all employees where all very nice and up beat not dragging their feet I was in and out very quick over all 100 A++
Called the location and requested a rotation and balance they said no problem got there less than 10 minutes was told minimum 2 hour wait. Asked if I could make appointment for later and did. Came back 15 minutes early and watched my vehicle sit for 1.5 hours. They pulled the car back and then told me it needed an alignment and no rotation. 1 hour later indicated car was ready. 3 hours for an alignment and they chose not to do the rotation or balance. I have a vibration in my front end at highway speeds. Got a call from corporate they were very concerned. I will continue to do business with Mavis. Thank you for the follow up. Update. I have bought 2 sets of premium tires recently. My daughter unfortunately picked up a nail and the tire was not repairable. The employee explained that my premium install package did not cover road hazards. The tire had less than 1000 miles. The warranty covered 27$ of the tire cost. They used list price when they calculated the replacement cost. I would have save over 20$ buying the tire from their website. I am done with Mavis. If there was a option for no stars…..
I had been using the NTB location for over 25 years. Mavis bought them. Immediately, I experienced horrible customer service, charging for work not performed, 2 hour wait times with only 1 car ahead of me and 4 workers basically doing nothing as I waited. Very foul and offensive rap music being played in the location.It was a great run with NTB, and now I run AWAY from doing any business with Mavis.
I came in last minute because one of my tires was very low in pressure. They checked my tire and low and behold, I have a bolt in it. They took me in without hesitation and took care of the patch, no questions asked! I couldn’t be more thankful for the kindness and warm hospitality this location has to offer. I will definitely be coming back in the near future.
Used to have good service here but lately, they cannot seem to get it together. Try to make an appointment to replace a tire and instead, they did not put the appointment into the system and then tell me its going to be a wait of an undetermined time. What the hell kind of service is that?? Im sorry your front desk person is incapable of making an appointment like they said but now my option is to wait for possibly several hours or re arrange yet another morning because of your incompetence?
Began chatting with Drew (Manager) about 6-days prior to install and he was ABSOLUTELY great to deal with.He ordered my tires, told me when I could expect them in and then followed up with me to let me know they were in and ready for install.Once in the store, I thought I would be in there for at least 2hrs. Drew and his team had me in-and-out right at about an hour; that’s including a front-end alignment. In addition, he gave me a great deal on my tires and the alignment service.Drew and his store has earned new repeat business! Keep up the excellent service “Devil Dawg”Sincerely,David
Came in on Columbus day (not knowing they had a sale going on so super busy, stopped at discount tire 1st and there were 5 ppl in front of me...) all I had was a flat tire [spare already on] they told me theres a 2hr wait so they called a sister location to see if it would be faster, they were but I decided to leave the tire with them during the day, ended up coming back the next morning and had my tire on in minutes. Thank you! 5 star service 4 stars for price to patch tire but I also didnt have to wait in line like I would have at discount tire so 4.5 stars if I could give that.
The store has gone completely downhill since Mavis bought it. I took my truck up there for an oil change and tire rotation. The oil changed had gone up 50% since the last one I had there 5,000 miles ago. They charged me over $25 for a oil filter for GMC Sierra, but worst of all, they left the cap off the engine and it sprayed oil all under my hood. Lucky it didnt blow the motor. Dont go there, or you could be there next victim. Youve been warned.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Bo was especially kind and helpful. They took a look at my tire with a slow leak and found nails in it. Since they didn’t have the tire in stock they didn’t charge me for the diagnostic visit. I was in and out in an hour too. Great experience, definitely will be back for my next set of tires.
Horrible, horrible customer service. It is the worst service at Alpharetta. Staff are killing time there. They would spend four hours to do an oil change. I have no complain about it. They are not the owner. The bad thing is that they are dishonest. They lie to clients. They lied to me that they did the tires rotation for me as I ordered in the morning. In fact, they didnt. I know they lied because I had marks in my rear tires. They wasted my whole morning. I have to visit another service later on. I am response for what I am commeting here. I dont recommend this location. You would have a big chance to lose your time, money and good mood here.
I must admit I was concerned about the appearance of the appearance of the bathroom because I saw a lot of people using it but when I went there it was clean as it could be. That was such a relief. Also Im awesome, Edward who helped me was so friendly and nice, made having to pay money for repairs that I had not planned almost pleasant. Almost.
This has become my go to for tires and related service. The manager went above and beyond in helping to diagnose an elusive vibration issue on the front tires. An issue that a local Honda owned repair facility failed to diagnose properly and wanted to sell me 4 new tires to fix. The existing tires are only a year old. Ill be back with another vehicle soon.
Im glad I spotted Mavis across the street from Chick-fil-A on State Bridge Rd. near Kimball Bridge Rd. during a difficult search for replacement tires, brake pads & rotors at a discount price. I was welcomed in by Tony & treated like a guest. He offered complimentary cold drinks in a clean, spacious lobby with comfortable seating & a separate internet café for laptop use. Even the restroom was spotless with a fresh, pleasant scent. After the tire inspection & brakes diagnosis, Tony guided me thru different brands, sizes & tire types to choose from within my budget. The tire package & brakes cost less than other places in Alpharetta, plus the mail-in rebate gave me $200 back! Mavis Tire & Brakes made a loyal customer out of me. Thanks, Tony, for providing a punctual, pleasant & informative experience!
Great location!Staff is knowledgeable and friendly!I had no wait time and I never felt like I was being talked down to or having the wool pulled over my eyes like I have at other places because I dont know much about cars. I was given detailed information about what was needed and how to fix it. They also have coupons and promotions that help with the budget! I will definitely be giving my service here again!
This Mavis store in Johns Creek provided me an excellent service with a very short advance notice.The tires were available in stock ( I had gone though 6 other shops / auto service and called a few to no avail)The technician provided me a good advice and worked with for the options I was most interested in.Prices are competitive and overall good value for money without all the fake promotions.Service was performed in the timeframe promised which was a very short oneWill definitely returnKudos
If you want to receive great customer service for your tires and brakes, this particular location is ideal! The staff is very professional and over exceeded my expectations. Was getting some squeaking from my brakes and they checked it out for free! Turned out it wasnt a huge issue and I could wait another 20K miles before needing my brakes replaced! Really appreciated how professional and kind the team was. They actually walked me out to my car and explained what was happening. All around amazing service!
The crew at this location was very friendly and very customer focused. Anthony, Moses, and G took great care of my car. I came in with a mysterious air leak in my drivers side rear tire. They took time time figure out what the cause was. No nail or puncture in the tire, they checked and tested everything that the could and found the issue in the valve stem. I am very happy with the service I have received at this location both times that I have been here. I will continue to come back. These guys are great.
Today I had to get all four of my tires mounted, balanced and aligned. Moses and his crew did an exceptional job with their professionalism and customer service. The team took great care of my truck and completed the service at a very reasonable amount of time. Overall, from my first call to the shop to the end of the service, this was an enjoyable experience. I am very thankful for this crew!!! Do not miss out on this great group and their awesome work!
I wish I could give these guys 10 stars! Moses was patient and did an amazing job of educating me on the repairs recommended for my car and made sure I got a price I was comfortable with. Anthony and John at the front desk were terrific, too, along with the mechanic with the sweet mustache! Two thumbs up! These guys are top notch!
We had another great experience purchasing a set of tires at this location. We have purchased several sets of tires here over the past 25 years. We needed some extra attention regarding a steering concern this time. Moses went above and beyond to address our concern and get us the new tires we needed. He has assisted us on a few occasions and has been great to work with. Follow-up visits for rotations, alignments, and tire pressure checks over the years have always been handled to our satisfaction.
I was visiting and my tire pressure light came on and I went into 100 really quick, I came upon this via a engine search, the customer service made an appt. for me quickly. When I got there I was feeling a certain way, but after the owner came and greeted me and took my care back , return and informed me that I had a nail in my tire and how much it would cost to fix it. I was ok. The staff at this location are very professional ,you cant ask for anything better when you are actually dealing with professional people. Kudos! keep up the good work.
Didn’t really need tires or breaks, but my cover on the bottom of my car was hanging off scraping the ground. I ask them could they remove it, without any hesitation they put my car on the lift and remove the bolts holding my mangled cover to the car. I’m writing this review not because of the work that was done, it was the pleasant attitude they had towards meDoing something outside of their job and was not being paid for.
By far the best experience I’ve had with any type of car work. I got a nail in my tire on the way to my in laws house and was totally unprepared with my dog, lunch, and luggage in the car. They welcomed me and my dog to their facility, and even let me store my homemade ice cream in the fridge so it wouldn’t melt before getting to my in-laws. 100% will be back here with any car issues.
Got a flat tire & brought my car here to have it replaced..while having that done it was brought to my attention that there was actually another broken component on my car that I didn’t know about. Drew and his team took amazing care of me and were very helpful to my situation. 10/10 recommend!!!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!They are thieves! The manager is a liar and can’t give you a straight answer when you ask him about cost. The “mechanic” has a few screws loose. He put the wrong size and brand tires on my car. Then he got all confused about my air filter and couldn’t replace it. While I was there, two people came back to comp about bad repairs and how dishonest these people are. This is by far, the worst experience I’ve had when getting my car fixed.
Needed tires, brakes, alignment, oil change, and headlight replaced. Scheduled appointment and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had my car in the shop within five minutes of my arrival. Car was ready sooner than promised. Everything seems professionally done. My car feels like a new car again. Smooth ride and alignment is perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Im so appreciative of the outstanding service each of these team members provided me. They talked me through each of the services and repairs, and even helped answer questions after I had left the shop. Ill definitely return! Thank you all so much for the great customer experience.
The man at the front desk named Shawn helped me out so much. I needed my tires rotated and balanced, and also an oil change. It was a few cars outside so I figured I’d have to wait a while. But Shawn and his crew worked so well and I was in and out in only 45 minutes! I will definitely be coming to this location from here on out!
Needed to get an alignment asap, after butler tire messed up my vehicle. They said they had an opening right when I called and to bring it over immediately and they would get right on it. Showed up, ended up waiting a half hour. I ask the guy who is working the desk what’s going on and he proceeds to tell me that they won’t actually be able to get to it today. Terrible customer service. Will never go back here or recommend this place
Went there twice once to get a front wheel alignment and a high speed wheel balance that didnt work went back and bought four new tires they assured me the manager that they would take care of me car still shaking at 65-80 it still trying to change lanes by itself Im going to take my car to a Dealer and spend more money to get it done write. P.S theyre very friendly but thats all workman not up to par!!!
Friendly but awful service. Came in to do 4 tires in December, was told that the web quote isnt right and there is a bunch more charges on top of it and it doesnt make sense for me to do 4 tires anyway since the two could go for another tens of thousands miles. I agreed to do two, the price kept changing randomly but finally we agreed on something, I paid and the store assistant said if Id do rotations regularly which are included into the oil change service, Id be good to go for years. I come in today to do the oil change, synthetic blend, after Ive been quoted on the phone by this shop $55 plus tax after $10 off coupon. The store assistant says 1)the rotation isnt included because I didnt buy hazard insurance 2)my total for just the synthetic blend oil change will be $87. What?!?! After some random recalculation he agreed to do it for $76 at which point I just walked out.I dont see how friendly service helps anything if there are no moral principles involved.
This is the most helpful auto service place I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I have two 20-year old cars and the folks here keep them running with economical repairs and tender loving care. Im saving thousands compared to the dealer because they dont fix things that arent broken! Today David recovered one of my hearing aids that fell into the gap around the emergency brake lever. That hearing aid is worth more than the car and thats the kind of help I can depend on if I just drive up and theyre not too busy. Its like having a neighbor that knows cars and gives me honest advice. And the tires are a fair price also!
Horrible customer service. They try to multitask talking to many customers at the same time, ending up not listening to any customer, and delaying everyone.They claimed that they called my cell after the job was done, but my phone records show no such call.Moreover, they got my name wrong on their database, therefore messing up my profile. They could not fix it for me. I now have to call the corporate 800 to get it fixed.
The staff was professionally outstanding! They showed me the items on my car that needed to be repaired. Made recommendations that would make my car run smoother. Being an Uber driver, it’s constant monthly maintenance on my car. I’m willing to drive to Alpharetta to get the great service.

Charged me $90 for flat tire that ended up leaking again. They claim i got another flat tire after i left their store. It’s more likely that they missed it the first time. Now they say that i need a new tire. I didn’t like their service and will not be going back. Specially since “discount tire” would’ve done all this for free. Remember, just because they are now at every corner these days it doesn’t mean you have to chose them. There are much better places to get your tires fixed.Update- someone from Corporate responded to my review and asked that i call to resolve the issue. I called and talked to someone who took down all the information and said that a manger would be calling to discuss. Waited 3 days and heard NOTHING. finally called the store again and was able to get a credit. Overall the corporate customer service wasn’t any better. They lost $1300 in sales since i decided to get new tires elsewhere.
My boyfriend brought my car here to get the brakes and rotors replaced at least a month ago . Although the service was okay the work done was not . The car began smoking from the tires hours after the we left the shop and the car now shakes at 40-50 mph.Not satisfied and do not recommend.

They were able to fix all my car issues in a matter of time, easily 5 stars. They take good care of you, great hospitality, thanks for all the done they did on my 2019 mazda 3, I would recommend anyone with car issues to go there and you wont leave there unsatisfied. Just say no to Mavis Tires. I had an absolutely horrible experience. They sold me dry rotted Michelin tires that went bald in less than a year. The district store manager, Donald, tried to convince me that I caused the wear by:- my driving habits (my calculated mileage didn’t exceed the expected warranted mileage);- I over inflated them (they are the only place that has added air plus my car has automatic tire sensors which alerts me when the tire pressure needs attention;-my car’s suspension was bad (had just had my car serviced where they check everything & document repairs made & suggested repairs).Bottom line, he didn’t honor the extended warranty that I purchased or the Michelin warranty. He tried to sell another set of tires where I would have paid about 75% of total cost. Needless to say, I said no & went to a different tire store to replace the set of tires. I would have given them zero stars if I could. DO NOT BUY TIRES AT MAVIS TIRES & BRAKES!!!!
I used them several times and havent had a problem. I took my collage aged daughter to get a tire replaced today after she ran over something. She needed to be at work in a couple of hours but she was worried the estimated repair time was going to make her late. The guy says no worries, pulled someone off another job, drove her car in and got her a new tire on in record time. probably 20 minutes at the most! What more could you ask for?
My brakes were screaming. The team quickly did a free brake check and determined I only had a rock trapped between the vacuum plate and the brake rotors. I received a maintenance inspection at no charge so I can keep my vehicle healthy for years to come. Moses is the best!

Bun Mao helped me through the whole process while providing me with many options for work, great conversation, and an awesome experience. 10 out of 10 recommendation for anyone looking to get work done on their car!
I traveled to Kauffmans to get my tires rotated and balanced. I was assisted by Todd. He was extremely helpful and courteous. I was in and out in approximately 30 minutes. Todd told me the condition of my battery and my alignment and did not try to push any additional services on me which I truly liked. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop and the overall professionalism of the entire staff. I wholeheartedly recommend this location to everyone, and I will return there for future services.
Absolutely horrible service at this location. It took me four long visits to get almost nothing accomplished except put new tires on. They charged me for balancing the tires and they did not do it. They left an air filter box wide open and I had to return for them to take care of i. I finally took my money somewhere else and got the job done efficiently in 45 minutes. I would NEVER use this location.
I work next door to Mavis and I needed an oil change and a tire, with a slow leak, to be plugged. I dropped my car off this morning and by noon the car was ready. The guy that helped me was super cool, nice and efficient. He treated me the way Iwould expect to be treated.Id give 10 stars if there were 10 to give.
I think companies are defined by how they handle a problem when it happens. I had a problem with not one but two alignments. It cost me two sets of tires and I still have the same problem. They have no problem taking your money but when they overlook something and it causes a problem youre on your own.I will never give my hard earned money again to this tire store who whats to be mechanic shop ever again. This is the first of many notices I will post regarding the services I received at Mavis tire. My hope is that you do not shop here because if you do unfortunately have a problem they will leave you high and dry. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!
I took my Alfa Romeo Guilia to Mavis, and I must say the service rendered is beyond excellent. The guys are not only some of the coolest guys, but they know what theyre talking about. I remember Tony the manager and I cant remember the other guys name. A real Class Act place! They changed my tires and did an alignment. I highly recommend them. They have won over my future business. Keep it up!
Amazing and friendly service… I know that sounds cliché, but it’s actually true. We had a nail in the tire and they took us at the last minute fixed it without hassle and nothing but friendly attitude at the same time. I don’t think you would get that kind of service at any other Kauffman tire store. I am seriously not going to visit any other tire store but this one. Seriously.
Zack was super helpful and explained everything to me when I had an issue with my tire! I had gotten a tire from another shop and it was put on the wrong way (I don’t know technical terms) and when I brought it to Mavis, they took great care of me and had me out of there quickly! Thanks Zack for all your help!
Didnt have tires when I got there as was stated on the website. Experienced a young man be very disrespectful of an older co-employee while being dismissive of the fact that my appointment was supposed to start at 9:00 and finally got my car at 4:00. Just an overall bad experience.
They were very helpful when I had to bring my cousins car in to get a new tire while she was out of town. I originally missed my appointment time because I went to the wrong location (her fault, not mine) and they were still able to accommodate me. After they mounted the tire, I was informed that her alignment was off. When I called her, she said she’d gotten one less than a week ago from another placeFor $93. In fact, that’s how she learned she needed a new tire. This location took care of everything and gave me a printed copy so she can get a refund from wherever she went that did a terrible job. Thanks guys!!!
Very nice, courteous service manager, friendly and sharp mechanics. Came in for a brake check based on wear sensor/squeal. Mechanic and I reviewed. Left rear was shot, right rear down to 10%. Mechanic replaced the rotors and pads in under an hour. Also flushed the brake fluid and did a 4 wheel alignment. I was in and out in 1 hour and 18 mins!They took my car at 4:50 and worked until complete. Manager also alerted me about their preferred customer program. It saved me $80 on services.Total out was about $460.00 to include taxes. Fair price.Ask for that preferred club. No cost. Cuts synthetic oil changes down to walmart pricing levels except you get a mechanic and time is cut by 70%!This is way better than when Kauffman tire ran this facility. They want your business and act like it. Didn’t oversell. We are going to watch the rear left caliper but, didn’t just switch it out to run up the bill.Very pleased with my first visit. We have six cars in the family. We’ll start using Mavis for a change!
I cannot tell you the level of customer care this location provides. I have been to the Mansell location and the Pleasant hill location and had the worst experience ever. To the point that they almost had me drive with a car that seized up. Here on State bridge though, perfection. They repaired everything, were cleaning up the messes that the other locations left, and worked with me to explain the things that went wrong. I am already back here getting new tires and have a great trust in this location for all my car needs. At 240000 miles now, I plan to service my car here until the car can no longer run and then more. I highly recommend this Mavis above all others.
They go out of their way to help you out. I had grinding brakes and they got me in the same day, did a great job replacing the pads and rotors at a very fair price. They really got me out of a jam. I would definitely recommend this store highly. Norm, Frank and the rest of them are great guys
This place used to be good and the service managers were honest. Last month one of the Kauffman service managers tried to tell me that my car needed about $1k in front end repairs but a real repair shop charged $150 for a couple of bushings to fix the issue. The crew at this location is either lying or incompetent.
4 hours, that’s what it took for a estimated 1-1/2 hour wait to be seen. This wasn’t my first time using Mavis’s tire service but it is certainly the last. I went in looking to get my oil changed and my tire fixed (found a screw lodged in it). After 4 hours of waiting their service manager tells me that they can’t fix it because they think they see dry-rot on 2 year old tires and tell me I should buy some new tires. I obviously say no and tell them to just give me my oil change. Later I go to my regular car service place and they tell me nothing is wrong with my tires and promptly fix it in less then 30 min. The only reason they are getting more then one star on my review is because their oil change was relatively cheep.I do not recommend.
WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! I brought in my vehicle for a tire repair before 1pm on a Sunday. Robert Williams was the service advisor, told him I had a nail in my tire and just recently bought my tires at this location. He walks to the window, not going outside to check, proceeded to write my license plate info. Told me he will call once vehicle was ready. No call from him and proceeded to go pick up my vehicle before they close at 5pm. Once I get there, I asked for my car, he didn’t remember who I was, he was looking for my ticket order but could not find it. We walk outside, tells me we can’t fix it bc of where the nail was. I asked him why he didn’t call, proceeded to go back inside to find my ticket order, the ticket order was closed and a technician had written it as repaired. My vehicle was never moved or looked at but my ticket order was written that my tire was repaired. Spoke to store manager, Mao Bun, the next day and he was apologetic, but I wanted to speak to the district manager, which MAO said he would have him call me. District mgr has not called about the staff INCOMPETENCE now going on 11 days. WORST SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!
The staff is really nice and does not try to push unnecesary services on you. They also broke down what I needed now and what I could wait on. Which is important to me as a student on a limited budget. Really great customer service. Keep it up you guys. Yall are amazing.
Wow! What great service! I went in with a nail in my tire and they removed it and patched the hole for FREE! In less than an hour! Ive never done business with them before but will def go back for future needs. Great customer service with friendly staff. Waiting area had wifi and complimentary drinks and water. Nice!!
This place makes me really miss Kauffman Tire. Called on a Friday to make an appointment for Sunday. Rep on the phone said tires would be in stock on Sat, and would be done on Sunday. Drop the car off Sat, they say tires are in stock, and everything is good for Sunday. About an hour before closing, I call to ask about the status, and rep on phone says he wasnt aware of our work order. Puts me on hold to do some research. Comes back and says tires arent in stock, and he doesnt even see our car on the premises. Tells me he will order the tires via express and they will be installed first thing Monday. Puts me on hold again, and tells me he found the car, and tires have already been installed, but no info about alignment, as the alignment tech wasnt in that day. Rep tried to contact store mgr, to no avail. I was assured the alignment would be done first thing Monday morning, and I was actually called Mon morning saying everything was ready. When paying, rep goes into high pressure sales for all kinds of things, even for things Kauffman used to do free of charge. Kauffman was such a well oiled machine. Despite Mavis being in business for quite some time, it feels disorganized, and lacks structure and internal communication.
Went for brakes service and an oil change. There was a discrepancy between the prices Justin quoted on the phone and the final bill. I understand the taxes, shop supplies and there still was a difference between what was quoted and what was in the final bill. They did adjust it almost to the original quote but because I asked. So integrity is the question. Ensure you clearly ask what is being quoted and clarify before committing OR go somewhere else if you find more trustworthy place.
Best spot in town, and Ive tried quite a few.The service here is quick, friendly, and--most importantly--honest. Unlike most places, at Kauffman Ive never run into that situation where I have to repeatedly tell an employee thanks-but-no-thanks for a new filter that I know I dont actually need. The last time I went in for an oil change, they absolutely could have convinced me to buy new tires on sale (and Im sure they knew it), but they checked mine and said there was no need. I went in a while before that with a loose bolt on the undercarriage, which they fixed in about five minutes and at no cost. Ill always come here.
After being deceived about work I didnt need at Honda I took my car to Mavis for a leaky shock. It did turn out that I needed some other work that Honda should have noticed so I had it done. They went above and beyond in dealing with stubborn bolts that were rusted badly and in spite of how long they needed to have the car in order to remove these stubborn bolts I was not over charged and the staff were great. I will be returning to Mavis for anything that has to do with brakes, shocks, etc.
Well lets start with I Im driving down the road and I notice I have a flat tire on my f650. I stopped at Kroger down the street and the air machine stopped working just after another car used it . This one is a free air station . We asked the clerk if he new why it stopped we thought there was a shut off valve he controlled or something but he was so rude that I left. I pulled into Kauffman tire and spoke to a young man working on a car . I asked if he could help with air and he stopped what he was doing and tried to help me the best that he could . Him and another gentleman in the shop. Even though they couldnt fix the tire do to the size they sure helped me any way they could with out any hesitation. Thank you guys and I will definitely recommend anyone I know with a smaller vehicle. Out standing customer service .
I had a slowly leaking tire on my Leaf. I went to the dealers Service Department. They couldnt figure out the reason and wanted me to replace it with $145. I went to an NTB. They told me I had to wait for 3-4 hours. I went to Kaufman Tire on State Bridge Road. The technician spent some time to figure out whats causing the leak. And he fixed it!!! The total waiting for me was about an hour. At the end, they did not charge me a dime! I am so grateful! They are nice people and provide great service!
The two gentlemen working were amazing! They provided great customer service and were courteous to give me a lyft to my job and back so I wasn’t late to work. I shared my complaints about the customer service call center line - IF YOU INTEND TO GO HERE, INSIST THAT THE CALL CENTER FORWARD YOU TO THE ACTUAL SHOP!
The Best! This place has their act together. My belt broke from a indirect issue literally across the street from their location and I thought it was a problem with a major part and I was at their mercy and they assured me it could be an affordable fix. So he told me I could drive it and it would not hurt anything for such a short distance I drove it to their parking lot and he looked at it and said it wasnt serious and he could have me out of there in an hour. They did! Fast and Accurate and I was able to eat lunch and coffee and back on the road.
They got bought out and now this place no longer even resembles the Kauffman Ive used for 15 years. Showed up at 12:30 after calling for an appointment to get new tires. Was told it would take an hour and a half. Im still sitting waiting on my car at 4:00. Free drinks and water have been removed due to cost cutting. Will not be coming back.

2022-04-01Based on location and reviews I dropped in on a Friday after my son popped a front tire on a curb this morning. Guy at the front helped me quickly and luckily they had the same tires (Cooper) in stock and they quoted me for the replacement. If you havent bought tires recently they are all expensive if you buy a quality + branded tire. Point being, the price was competitive but you are not going find tires out there for $100 a tire anymore. They got me out the door within 30 minutes which I thought was great. They even filled my spare up with air and put the spare, tire iron, etc. back away in my car. Good experience and service, would definitely recommend.

2022-02-28Back in July 2021, I purchased a set of tires from this Mavis tire location. This said, I had multiple installation issues which resulted in damages to my car. Most noticeable damage was to the lug bolts which now cannot be removed or torqued as the result in addition to extensive cosmetic damages to 5 of 20 lug bolts. When I contacted the Mavis customer service center, I was advised that the manager at this location was no longer employed by Mavis and referred to a Mavis manager (Bo) down the street because the down the street was no longer employed by Mavis. Fast forward 9 months later, and 8 visits later after no follow up calls or attempt to resolve - the Manager (Bo) at this location offered my 5 mismatched lug bolts for me to install on my own! What a ridiculous offer considering that it was damaged by Mavis and no ownership was taken into consideration. He tried to wash his hands and get me off the lot. Be warned, you may be subjected to this when you get your car serviced here. Also just know that they are literally hiring people off the streets so they can get the cars out. As my only option, I have escalated my issues to a regional manager for resolution. I will let you know how this turns out. Pictures to follow soon. 2022-07-08They were most helpful. I had a tire that was losing air quickly. They had my auto in the stall within minutes and what was to be a 50 minute visit, turned into less than 45. They provided me a quote for new tires and an alignment for the future. They were so courteous and helpful plus I had wifi to continue working. Great service, great fellas, very pleased.

2022-05-01I called to make an appointment for the following morning before I went in to work. The next day I get here and they tell me I don’t have an appointment. I checked the other location near by and no appointment there either. I verified the location with my phone records. I definitely called this location why don’t I have the appointment that I made?I need to get a tire replaced within a time frame. I can’t keep driving around on a donut forever. Sometimes life happens and it would be great if they had integrity to honor the appointment I made.Update. They were able to repair the tire and save me some money and put it back on. Looks like I should still be able to make it to work on time.

2022-04-05Called up to store about a tires sensor because my dealership was trying to charge me over 150 for jus the part. The Manager Mr. Johnson helped me research and told me the part was less then 60-80$ and they would be able to install it for me. He took very good care of me and my SUV. He was very professional.

2022-03-29The manager and techs were up front and honest with what I needed to get my truck ready for a road trip. They didn’t try to sell me more than I needed, and they had my truck back to me quicker than expected. My family and I would recommend this shop over any other in town. 2022-02-08Went with my daughter to get a new tire put on the back passengers side as it had a slow leak in it. Dropped her car off and went across the street to grab something to eat. Got a call asking if she had the tool to get the tire off. She said she didnt think so and was told they would look in the glovebox. We returned back to the store after about 25 minutes only to find out that they were unable to find whatever it was they were looking for but didnt call back to let us know. My husband is the one that put the rear tires on so we ran home to get what he thought was the correct tool to get the tire off. Get back to the store only to find out that the piece fit the front tires, not the back. The back tires are on after market wheels. So then we had to drive her car, with a leaking tire, up the road to the Advance Auto Parts store to make sure we got the correct sized tool to get the tire off. What should have been roughly 45 minutes turned into a 2 hour ordeal. Im sorry but it seems to me that when ones business is tires, that business should have the equipment to remove factory and after market wheels. Im sure there are tons of cars out there with after market wheels on their cars! As a customer, I shouldnt have to run around buying tools so you can put a new tire on my car. So just know, if you have after market wheels on your car, you may have to bring your own tools!
